20 Best White Eyeliner Liquid (2022 Updated)

Color Purchased: Smokey Quartz Espresso – I have long dark brown / black hair and bold dark eyebrows. But typical black eyeliners look too bold and intense in my opinion. The color is perfect – it practically black but has a warm undertone, none of that blueblack color.

It’s closer to black than dark brown. Application: a stiff felt tip – so easy to apply for me! I do a more subtle wing and follow the curve of my eyelid. It is so easy to control. I used to use Lancôme’s Art Liner but it was so hard to control for me, and it took so much longer to do.

This stuff felt tip literally only takes me a minute. Wear / Longevity: This is the first liner I’ve had that doesn’t flake off or bleed by the end of the day. I have some oily / sweaty eyelids that even my mascara rubs off on my upper lid while blinking.

But this eyeliner? It stays put. Even after crying or washing my face, if I don’t rub it correctly it’ll still be on! The only thing is sometimes at the end of the day I’ll see it’s slightly faded from me mindlessly rubbing it.

But I’ve never had the issue of me mindlessly rubbing my eyes, only to check the mirror hours later and see I’ve completely wiped off a whole wing like I’ve had with other eyeliners haha! But not with this one.

Most of the time, it’s just as bold all day long.

I compared the performance of the MECCA Max Wink Ink and Stila Stay All Day liquid eyeliners. Wink Ink initially applied remarkably well, but I believe it became more difficult to apply the longer the product had been opened, and struggled to create intense colour and smooth lines, especially when wearing BB Cream underneath.

In classic liquid liner fashion, Wink Ink transferred to my upper eyelids throughout the day. As the name suggests, liner transfer has not happened while using Stay All Day. I am also able to create smooth, intense, and symmetrical lines with greater ease than when using Wink Ink.

This may be due to the design of the thicker felt tip (which is still able to create thin lines) on Stay All Day. Removal of the two liners is similar and unremarkable: both come of with your favourite cleanser.

You will get better results from Stay All Day than you will from Wink Ink. I believe the gain in results far exceeds the 1. 5x cost.

I purchased this eyeliner on the weekend as an upgrade from a cheaper brand. I went in to store and asked what liquid liner they would recommend and was told this hands down. I wore it today for the first time, and went to take my dog for a walk and she decided to escape and run across a busy road into oncoming traffic and because I love that stupid dog, I also did.

I was running and sweating and managed to catch her and spent an hour afterwards crying and swearing I would give her up to the RSPCA. Through all of this, the eyeliner stayed put. Whilst I hope you do not experience this, if you do and you are wearing this eyeliner, it would survive.

I also use hydrating eyedrops for dry eyes and it survives these too, staying perfectly in tact. Break with your boyfriend? This eyeliner will take it. Get hammered and jump into a swimming pool? This eyeliner will survive.

Chase your dog into oncoming traffic and cry for an hour? Again, this eyeliner will stay perfectly in tact. Buy this eyeliner and you will not regret it.

I was looking for a blue/teal retractable eyeliner and this one is almost perfect!! It lasts all day and doesn’t smudge unless i rub really hard. It def makes brown eyes pop! The reason it looses a star however is it doesn’t go on as well, on the waterline.

But if that’s not an issue for you, than this is perfect! I sometimes wear it right on the tightline, do winged liner, and you can even do graphic liner. For mostly whatever, this is perfect! I am going to keep buying for sure!.

This lip liner is very impressive! It’s creamy, glides across the lips easily, and is still a sturdy formula so it doesn’t feel like it’s going to break. I like the automatic aspect to it, making it easy to reapply on the go.

Natural is the perfect warm neutral shade that isn’t too light or dark for my skin tone (naturally NC15 but I’m always self tanned to NC30). I think it would work great for fair skin tones up to medium or medium tan.

Highly recommend and would definitely fry other shades in the range. It claims to be waterproof which I’m not sure about but it’s long lasting. I like to pair Natural with NYX’s XXL liquid lip in Turn On for a browny warm nude look.

Also I’d try this before spending money on high end pencils. I think it’s way better than MAC and is almost as good at CT.

I’ll be honest. I wish that NYX had made all of their newer epic liner pencils in this format. These retractable eye liner pencils are just so convenient and make application so easy that I want them in more colors.

Not to mention they’re incredibly affordable, the pigmentation is no joke and they apply like a dream. With all of this praise, what’s the caveat? Just that if worn along the lower lashes and one has oily, watery or under eye skin which tends to heavily fold/crease when laughing/smiling then these will smudge.

To be fair, no one said they were smudge-proof sooo. that was on me.

I received this eyeliner from Influenster in exchange for a real review. I received this product in a shade called a rose quartz, which isn’t a shade I would usually choose for myself, but I am still very happy with the results.

This gel/pencil eyeliner really does tattoo onto your eyelids. The color is vibrant and sparkly, and it does hold for hours on end. Even through sweat and me rubbing my eyelids every now and then, the main line stayed on my face.

I even tried to deliberately rub off the eyeliner with my fingers, and a little bit of sparkly residue was on my finger, but the general lining stayed on my eyelid. I am curious to see how this would look in other shades, and I believe I will try them soon.

I personally have been reluctant to use pencil eyeliner’s lately because they tend to rub off on my eyes, but this one lasted for hours on end without any sort of transfer on my eyelids. This is a great drugstore brand, and I look forward to trying the other shades of this product.

I’ve never used a waterproof eyeliner before. I’m turning 50 next month and I’ve gotten more conscious of the skin around my eyes. I’m not ok with roughly wiping off eyeliner or mascara with my fingers anymore.

I thought I’d give this a try, and the first time I used it I thought “Why did I wait so long?!?” It doesn’t run or smudge and no more raccoon eyes! I’m not a makeup expert but I know what I like and this eyeliner is really easy to apply and get the look I want.

It’s also easy to take off at night. I use water and a reusable makeup removing cloth to remove my makeup. My mascara is waterproof so I wasn’t too worried about removing this eyeliner. The trick if you’re using water only is to keep the cloth damp but not dripping and use warm water, then hold the cloth on each eye for a bit and it’s like your eye makeup almost melts off, regardless if it’s waterproof or not.

Maybelline never misses with their eyeliners!!!! When they say “Tattoo Studio†waterproof, THEY MEAN IT! 😳 I’ve used their eyeliners from this line before, and this did not surprise me to be just as good.

The glitters don’t budge (the video is just glitters from previous eyeshadow swatches) and the color itself is gorgeous. It’s such a beautiful bronze shade, I use it on my water line, over my eye shadow, and even as highlighter! I went to the pool and sweat ALL day and it did NOT budge.

I didn’t even need a setting spray!! This stuff glides on like creamy butter, and locks in place for an everyday, all day wear. This color looks absolutely stunning on every skin tone, snd medium to dark shades can use this as a multi purpose product! LOVE it!!! â ¤ï¸ (Received as part of Influenster voxbox, incentivized).

I am always on the hunt for great and easy eyeliner. I like the pen-like liquid eyeliners because they are fast, so I gave this Dior version a try. So far, so good. I’ve been using it for about a month and it’s still going strong.

I’m even getting better at doing a little “cat eye” with it. My only complaint is that it doesn’t last as long as I’d hoped for a waterproof product. I catch myself in the mirror at work and I often need a touch-up.

That being said, the Diorshow On Stage Liner is great “on the go”, my favorite felt tip eyeliner and I am excited to try a few more shades of grey, black and brown!.

I wore this eyeliner to a wedding, I was crying and it did not smudge and give me raccoon eyes! It’s replacing my KVD tattoo liner and that was my holy grail for years. I prefer matte liners so I’m glad there’s an option, the black is definitely deeper than KVD too.

The brush is definitely a firm felt tip, easy to do a wing and it doesn’t skip at the end where fluidity matters most. I used it tightline and to do a wing, no mess. I also purchased brown which I love and have yet to try the green and white.

Dior has been releasing amazing, reformulated products!.

OMG! 😱 WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THE DIOR SHOW ON STAGE EYELINER MORE OFTEN?! Bought at Sephora on a Whim bc I wanted a Brown-Black waterproof liquid eyeliner. Brown tends to bring out blue eyes, but most brands on the market make a brown eyeliner that’s more of a chocolatey shade.

I have light brown skin and it didmt really show on me. Tried a couple layers but didn’t really work. Not that much paint actually gets on the brush for you to work with but i would recommend as a cheap option for lighter skin tones.

A few months ago I purchased the black wink-it eyeliner, and its been great, one of the best eyeliners I’ve ever bought. 10/10 would buy again. When I saw my local Sephora had this blue in stock, I thought “hey, the last one was great, surely this blue will also be great!” it unfortunately is not.

The colour is really great – it’s a very pretty shade of dark blue – but you would think they were two different brands of eyeliner with how this one is compared to the black. It runs like CRAZY and smears at the slightest touch, and got all over my face when I tried removing it with makeup remover.

Once again, the black wink it liner is amazing! The Navy is great, but only if you want to do an impromptu Avatar (2009) cosplay. Otherwise, save your $20 and get a different colour.

I got this mostly to make my inner corner highlighting better, which it has. However, its very subtle so trying to use it as a glitter liner might work if you’re looking for a very slight sparkle. However, over time it will crust off and wear off if you have very watery eyes (like moi).

I wish glitter liners had biodegradable glitter to make them more environmentally friendly, as i’m not sure if this does, but please be aware of the impact your pretty sparkly glitter products make towards the environment.

Overall, it makes your eyes look “teary”, its giving innocent anime vibes IG: Pettysaekii.

this lil thing will last you AGES, im not exaggerating lol ive had this for several years now and it never dried up inside the bottole, you only need a tiny amount each time and get super pretty subtle glitter with it.

i dont use it as a liner but rather put a bit across my lid and spread it by dapping my finger tip around, it makes for a really cute really simple glitter eyeshadow, definitely suitable for your quick everyday looks! the glitter also dries down super fast so no need to worry about it transfering everywhere! sorry for the low quality pics but i hope you get the idea lol (i bought white crystal pearl btw).

I purchased at Walmart. When I first tried this eyeliner I didn’t like it at first because it was hard to use because the eyeliner brush is thicker than what I’m used to but now I’ve got use to the tip and now it’s easy for me to use.

My eyeliner did leak a little when I first opened it but now it’s fine it hasn’t been leaking anymore. I love the color it goes on smoothly. I like the packaging it is cute. It’s a affordable product! I really recommend this if you love eyeliner! ❤️.

This eyeliner is really watery and it’s too hard to get an even layer. See-through, so you have to double layer it. But color is really pretty and it’s just 5$. So if you wanna try how you going to look with green eyeliner – you can get this one to try it out (that’s what I did).

But if you already know that green will look good on you – better get something more expensive that will work better.

For a drug store product the formula and product is well worth more than $5. I purchased this item looking for a similar formula to KVD or Fenty products and I landed something better. The shade I purchased is a iridescent purple (with a hint of color shift depending n the angle).

I am excited to purchase the other 2 shades and hope that the brand comes out with a variety shade range. The long lasting formula glides on smoothly without skipping or lifting, it compares to the NYX Epic wear all the way but a more shiney chrome look.

I received the product for testing from Superdrug Customer Community. Thank you for being one of the dozen or so people! The Color Pen Eyeliner 850 So far I have only used black eyeliners. This time I had the opportunity to test the produnkt from 3INA in a beautiful blue shade.

The marker pen from 3INA has a packaging in the color of the product content with a minimalist number of inscriptions, which makes it very elegant in its simplicity. The tip is soft, so the line is painted with great precision.

The shape of the tip makes it easy to paint the thickness you want at the moment. It is very well pigmented. The color is intense after the first stroke and highlights the eye perfectly. It’s very easy to fix something / apply another layer when something goes wrong.

It is resistant to abrasion. It does not reflect on the eyelid. I find this eyeliner great for beginners as well as advanced. It is efficient, easy to use. It stays on the eye for a very long time. It freezes quickly, which is very important to me.

The matte, soft packaging runs throughout the brand and the colour always matches the product perfectly.

Pen tip liners are usually a struggle for me due to the texture of my eyelids and my hooded eyes but let me tell you, this application was so easy. The tip is thin and flexible however still holds a level of firmness which allows for an easy and precise application.

850 is a beautiful, vibrant royal blue colour which dried matte and applies opaque with only one swipe which is perfect for those who struggle with application. Although the product dries down quick, it’s not instant which allows you time to neaten up the line if needs be, and it does not transfer which is incredible considering how saturated the tip is.

As someone with hooded eyelids this is a top priority for me when considering eyeliners, and this did not move. Smudge-proof, budge-proof and long-wearing (still looked perfect after twelve hours) this eyeliner is perfect for any individual who is looking for staple, colourful products to add to their collection.

Vegan, cruelty-free and lasts for up to 14-hours, 3INA are changing the eyeliner game.

I already use many of these eye liners – grey,blue,black and purple and wanted to try out this shade for some time. Eventually did it and yes I love it. It is a lovely shade and a most unusual one too.

Like another reviewer, I have tried to find the perfect eyeliner: one that does not end up halfway down my face part way through the day or night and one which is very dark grey, but not black. I have bought high end (and I could drop a few names, but that would probably prevent my review being published) but let’s just say I have never spent less than 16 quid each time.

I thought I’d give this a go: what did I have to lose; I actually got this “free” as a “3 for 2” offer. All I will say is “WOW, WOW, WOW”. At last: an eyeliner that is the perfect shade (I was actually expecting it to be a light grey (the image makes it look lighter than it actually is)); it is a lovely dark grey, is ‘creamy’ soft and glides on like a dream and it does not budge until I remove with cleanser at the end of the day.

Truly, a ‘eureka’ moment. Goes without saying, I shall be buying this from now on. Barry M; please do not discontinue this shade. I shall be trying other shades too. At that price I shall eventually buy them all.

A bargain and an absolutely fabulous product (and believe me, I am an expert when it comes to eyeliner; I cannot live without it).

This is one of my favourite products! Silky smooth to apply, this shade is a little softer than black. It can be smudged a little immediately after application for a more subtle effect but has great staying power.

It really is waterproof. As good as many more expensive products.

My old Barry M eye pencil (which was fantastic) ran out and I bought this one thinking it was the same one. It must be a different line or formula as it couldn’t be more different. Whereas the other one would stay on almost all day, this one smudges EVERYWHERE.

And I mean everywhere. After wearing for no more than half an hour, it’s smudged all round my face, on my eyelids, cheeks etc. It’s genuinely the worst eyeliner I’ve ever used. It also has an unflattering reddish undertone.

Not sure if they’ve changed the formula since the other person wrote their review but I bought this after reading it because my eyes have a tendency to eat up most eyeliners (waterproof or not) I applied it to my waterline and when I went back to check 20 minutes later I saw a reeeally sad skinny panda looking back at me from the mirror.

It hadn’t disappeared. It was all there, like butter on a eye-bag toast. In 20 minutes! I cleaned up, sharpened the pencil because sometimes they work better after you sharpen them and reapplied, and what would you think? I needed another panda exorcism when I went back to check again after another 20 minutes had past.

So I owned this eyeliner for around 1 and a half hours and then it was exiled to the bin. Sad and wasteful but what other use do I have for a black eyeliner that doesn’t want to stay put? TLDR: I’ll stick to their nail polish.

I got the L. A. Colors Neon Gel Eyeliner in color Wonder CP632. I couldn’t find an option on here to select that specific color. I love it though, so it needed to be shared! I’ve been trying to get back into makeup and LA has been great for colorful looks that won’t break the bank! I did this quick color add to a big wing and thought the color was amazing! It lasted well, but also washed off easy when I was ready.

Love this black eyeliner. I feel like everyone needs a good, affordable plain black eyeliner pencil. And for me. this is it. Great price. Great product. Long lasting. Barley any smudging, that isnt on purpose.

Blends well when needed to. I will definently be buying again and would recommend.

I didn’t love this eyeliner. It’s so dry and really hard to blend. I’m trying to use it only for project pan purposes. I would be nice if they improve the formula. Make it more creamy. I don’t think I’ll be buying this again.

This dog bed with hooded blanket was a big hit with my baby dog. This donut-shaped bed is adorable and cosy for my dog. The material is soft and comforting, and the bed provides excellent support to my dog.

He loves spending all of his time sleeping in this bed. I received this product from a Facebook named “Exclusivester†for FREE. And I’m glad that I received it , highly recommended from my side.

I’m NW15, brunette, green eyes, and I like to use “Teddy” to line my upper lids. It’s nicely pigmented, smooth, glides on easily, and lasts better than most over a primer on my extremely oily skin. I just wish it were a darker brown.

However, I find that if I employ the old trick of heating up the pencil a bit, it really ramps up the intensity and gives me the look I want. I’d just prefer not to have to do the extra step. Still, this liner is cruelty-free, good quality, and inexpensive.

I’ll gladly buy it again when the time comes.

This is a good eyeliner, especially considering the price. It’s super smooth and goes on really well, applies nice and dark and evenly, it glides on. I don’t get the opinion that the pencil itself will last very long however, the tip wears down fast but with the price that’s not a big issue.

Lastability itself however is mixed. Sometimes it lasted a really long time and didn’t need much freshening up and other times I was like where did it go? Definitely not waterproof or good if you’re active or sweaty.

My only real complaint is it had a tendency to get messy, bits of it would end up on my face or other parts and make a mess. I would find black flakes and they’d smear unfortunately. Still a good pencil, especially for the value.

This was my first time (I must have been under a rock right!??). I was absolutely stunned. This pencil glides effortlessly and it’s super creamy and it does brighten the eyes. As far as, the long-lasting wear isn’t necessarily the effect that I got, but overall I was satisfied with this product and I was even more impressed to have found it at the Dollar Tree for just $1, so for that reason I’m not complaining.

I’m actually glad that I found this product at a fraction of the cost that I would have found it at Walmart 🤦 so for that reason I recommend that you don’t knock the Dollar Tree until you try it, because you might think that it’s mediocre because it’s just $1 let’s be real.

I used the white, gold, and purple. Loved how they went on. I’m not great at putting liner on to make it look like it isn’t a line on my lid, and these were so easy to just paint on. Not too harsh, but just enough to give some light to my eyes.

So disappointed you discontinued every shade except black. Black was actually the one shade that was just like any other liner. Too dark and too obvious when applied. I would have recommended this to a friend, but not anymore.

I don’t know what I am going to do for eye liner now.

I thought the words on the packaging were just a gimmick. I simply wanted white eyeliner without PPG/PEG100 due to my allergy. This eyeliner is different than ANYTHING I’ve ever tried!! It truly does have an eye brightening effect, ESPECIALLY in different lighting! I’m not sure if there’s duochrome or holographic involved, but this is THE most flattering white liner I’ve ever tried.

Glides on beautifully, not chunky, doesn’t clump up in lashes or migrate to other places either! Both as top lid wear and goes on my waterline(s) effortlessly. This is a new staple in my daily wear! It immediately makes me look well rested and bright eyed! And It has a built in sharpening function that is brilliant for people who don’t know how to girl like me!.

These are perfect for the waterline and give an insane brightening effect. The subdued tones are very flattering since they aren’t stark white. The liner is creamy and glides on waterline without and tugging yet has excellent staying power and doesn’t smudge.

For someone that has very watery and sensitive eyes this definitely hit the mark. I have it in the color Vanilla which is a creamy, buttery pale yellow. Everytime I wear it I get compliments and get asked what product it is.

I can’t explain how blown away i am from this product! I wanted this color because it looked really pretty and i love pastel colors. I wanted to do a test for myself so when i would use the eyepencil i would know if i couls go through rain or not.

So i putted the eyepencil on before showering, letted it sit for like 5 minutes and then i went showering. The first picture with the dry hair was before showering. The color looks beautifull and it went on really easy.

The second picture with wet hair is after i’ve showered. I was shocked that it stayed on beautifull! I’ve let the water all over my face while showering (like a normal shower) and i was kinda expecting that it would go off, but it didn’t.

It was even a little hard to take of with some make-up remover. I’m really happy with the product.

I haven’t worn white eyeliner on my waterline in years. I decided to try a Nyx liner, just white. but then I saw the Faux Whites collection and thought it was a cool spin on it to add a hint of color.

I chose Mint Cream because I have green eyes, and I just love greens of all shades in general. You can definitely see the hint of green (a true mint or sea foam like stated above) but it really does brighten and liven up the eye area.

The lasting power of this liner is pretty great, as I applied it at 8am and it’s lasted all the way to 6pm so far. I’m interested in trying the lilac shade next time. I didn’t edit my photo at all, the shade you see is how it turned out on me.

I got compliments on my eyes all day! That always helps.

I love this liner, the only problem I have is when I run out and go to restock the store is usually sold out of this product and I’m force to try another brand. I would definitely and, have so many times, is recommend this to others.

It’s a bit more one the pricey side if you’re on a budget but I think it’s worth it. As small as the container may look, the liner itself actually lasts long. AND you get a long lasting wear from it.

Not only have I fallen asleep with this liner one, but in the morning it’s still there in tack. It’s great and easy to apply. It’s wet at first and once dried you can’t even feel it. I sometimes forget that it’s there when I’m rubbing my eyes.

It’s pretty good when it comes to waterproof. I would say. I have to use either makeup remover or lots of water and washing to get it off. Even when using water it’s still there at times, and I really need to find makeup remover.

I find that I sometimes have to apply it twice to really get a bold black line. I would recommend it to others if they can afford it.

10/10 would recommend. I’ve worked at the Estée Lauder counter and used several high end brand brushes. I would definitely say these are comparable to high end brushes. The handles are nice, but don’t feel as fancy as expensive brushes.

But the brush itself is soft and feels just as good as the pricier brands. The set comes with a wide variety. I bought this set and another set that included a fan brush.

A soft and creamy texture that does not drag on your eyelid. The colour suits my green eyes perfectly for a natural day look. If you use primer or shadow as a base, this liner lasts all day without smudging.

But if you don’t wear either of these, it will smudge or wear off. So make sure you either prime the eyelid first or wear shadow if you want optimal wear from this liner. It does not irritate my eyes, even when worn on my waterline.

An absolute steal at $10! I am about to buy the forest green one now by benecos, to add to my collection! Well worth purchasing and I liked it more than zuii and lavera.

This pencil is super soft and applies like a dream. The colour is a lovely off-white tone so it looks far more natural than the heavy white that I’ve used in the past. It doesn’t cake or get stuck in my eyelashes either, which is also a major plus.

If you’re looking to brighten up your eyes without looking too ‘made up’ this is a fantastic product.

I only used this once and found it okay but wasn’t overly impressed with precision. I took it on holiday last week involving a short plane flight, car journey but somewhere cooler than London has been.

For the price, it’s no better than a cheaper Boots or Avon equivalent, in fact it’s not as good. The top came off in my makeup bag and made a horrible mess and I think I had put it back on properly. I tidied it up and tried to use it but it obviously does not react well to warm temperatures and half of the product was lost before I started.

It’s easy to apply obviously, though no precision at all as it’s too soft. It is definitely not ‘micro-precision Eyeliner’ unless maybe you can keep it in a refrigerator. Would not buy this again.

I am makeup “challenged”. I have never been good at all of the tricks and I have a very natural look. I love this eyeliner – for me it works. I have hooded eyes and I am in my 50’s. I love the fine line because it allows my eyes to look more open.

It glides on and stays on. The main reason I love it is because the plum color is softer than black and a bit more soft than brown but still pops and looks like eyeliner. Every other micro eyeliner I have ever tried breaks when applying and this one does it less than any other I have tried.

It is creamy and doesn’t make too much friction when applying I think that’s why it doesn’t break as much. Ordering another today!!!!.

I love this eyeliner. It is so milky and smooth, like gel or liquid, but you keep the same look as pencil. You can have a little or a lot. It’s like you just opened a new Urban Decay stick every day, except with added precision.

It hasn’t dried out in almost 3 months of use, which I can’t say about other pencils, which start to get chalky after a while. My favorite eyeliner. Those in the reviews complaining that the pencil doesn’t retract — adapt and move on.

You don’t need the tip of the eyeliner to be an inch to apply it. Just twist a little bit and only use what you need!.

The bareMinerals Maximist Liquid Liner I tried was in the shade Maximist Black. According to bareMinerals, the liner is colored with mineral pigments and it is also a clean beauty item, vegan, and cruelty-free.

The liner is a waterproof vegan formula that uses a microalgae complex to promote thicker lashes. I have not used this product long enough to know if there are benefits of thicker lashes, but I appreciate the vegan formula and the concept of an eye makeup product that also improves my lashes during use.

I have not worn this eyeliner in water to check if it is truly waterproof, but I tried a smudge test on my wrist and was very impressed with the liner’s staying power, as it did not smudge or move at all when I rubbed my finger against it five minutes after application.

I did not try to smudge it around my eye area, but after application it stayed in place. This liner is fragrance free and has a flexible brush that allows me to apply liner gently in the delicate eye area.

The tip is thin and precise. The packaging is advertised as made with 50% post-consumer recycled plastic and the size of the liner is 3 ml, which I find to be an appropriate size. Overall, I enjoyed this product because of its easy application and significant staying power.

I am more inclined to purchase items that are vegan, cruelty-free, clean beauty, and use bio-friendly packaging than are not, so if purchasing an eyeliner I would reach for this product and recommend it to others for those reasons, as well as its excellent performance.

The eyeliner I have been using religiously was discontinued last year and I’ve been searching for a replacement ever since. I’ve used eyeliner (wing and cat-eye) for 20+ years now so I’ve tried many brands and applicators.

I gotta say this formula is really nice. It goes on incredibly smooth. Even lines, WITH NO SKIPPING! Dries quickly which is great since I have hooded eyes and liner that takes long to dry ends up smeared on my eyelids.

And the brush is great for thin lines and sharp points. I’d say the applicator might be my favorite I’ve used. I have years of experience applying eyeliner, but the brush is so effortless even a novice would be able to do it.

And if you do make a mistake the formula cleans up super easy. My last eyeliner was a pain to remove if you needed to do any cleanup. This kind I was able to easily use a q-tip to clean up a too thick line.

Yet, the formula had great wear. Held up through the day and washed off easily in the evening. My only complaint would be that I wish it was a little darker/more pigmented. At times I have to go over my line because the first pass doesn’t look very black.

I bought the black and eggplant cake liner along with Ben Nye Liquiset (all from CRC). The black is a matte black and the eggplant is a purple with a reddish tint. Pros: – Control: You can use this to make everything from delicate to dramatic looks.

You can adjust the amount of liquid to change the pigmentation (it is very very pigmented). – Longevity: With Liquiset, it lasts all day, even with my oily lids. There is absolutely no creasing or smudging through 14+ hour days.

– Ease of use: It takes a minimal amount of practice to work out how to best use water/liquiset to make the line you require with the least amount of mess. After that, it’s as easy as can be. There’s rarely a need to go over your line again, application is smooth, touching up is simple with a gentle eye makeup remover and Q-tip.

– Value for money: Each use makes the smallest of dents, so I envision that this will last me for years of daily use. It’s not going to dry out as a liquid or gel liner might. – No irritation: I have quite sensitive eyes and eyelids and I’ve yet to experience even the slightest irritation.

Cons: These really aren’t cons to me, but they may influence some people – Portability: It’s less convenient to carry around than a pencil, but if you’re happy to use water instead of a sealant, then it’s reasonable.

– Availability in Australia: As far as I know, it’s significantly cheaper to buy from CRC and pay for shipping than to buy it here. CRC was prompt and reliable.

I purchased black, dark brown, brown and eggplant, and I experimented with a few different methods for using this product. The simplest method is really just to dampen your brush and swirl it around until you build up a smooth, creamy sample for your application.

At first, I tried using two different eyeliner sealers for mixing, but the product applied very sheer. I also tried a simple mixing medium of water and glycerin, with the same result. Just using water, the application is smooth and opaque.

You can mix the colors for customization. To make it water proof after the application, I put a drop of eyeliner sealer on my brush and apply over top. It becomes completely immovable all day.

I’ve used a few different cake eye liners. I have always had great success with Ben Nye products so I thought maybe this one would be a great alternative to the much pricier Laura Mercier. Unfortunately, the color pay off didn’t meet my expectations.

I’d say it’s more of a muted black and could use more pigment. For a lower priced cake liner I prefer La Femme over the Ben Nye.
