20 Best White For Bathroom (2022 Updated)

Purchased for repainting a bathroom that was a light blue color. This paint is prone to runs so it must be put on thin. Thin doesn’t cover the underlying color resulting having to paint everything twice.

The fine print states it takes 7 days to fully cure and harden; waiting to see how well it sets up.

Actually bought 5 gallons. There was a problem with 3 of the 4 in one box being dinged and bent with a little minor spillage. However because we were using the paint right away, we just used the two worst ones first.

The paint covers well and looks great on my new pergula.

I would not recommend ordering this bathtub or any product from Kohler! I received this bathtub (1121-R-0) on June 28, 2021 with a factory flaw. How does a Kohler bathtub pass through their quality control and leave the factory with an obvious, visible flaw?!? Does Kohler even have a quality control process in place for outgoing products? I had a very well laid out plan for my bath and kitchen remodel.

The last item that arrived before the demo was to begin was this flawed Kohler bathtub and it was the weak link that brought my remodel to a dead halt, pending replacement. Working with the Kitchen/Bathroom supply store where I purchased the tub from, they sent out a “Kohler certified” repair person twice, but the imperfection was still visible after he was done and there was no guarantee that the tile work that I had planned would cover it.

Since I am paying a lot of money for a bathroom remodel, a visible imperfection is not acceptable to me and doesn’t bode well for the Kohler brand. On July 14th, I requested a replacement tub. I had one delay after another getting the bathtub replaced by Kohler.

I was first told it was going to be on the production line the first week of August, 2021. My order was to be moved to the front of all the other orders for this tub style. I don’t know who dropped the ball at Kohler, but it was dropped.

The tub was finally sent out of the Kohler factory in Texas on August 24th. I requested that the delivery be expedited to my home as my remodel was significantly delayed due to this tub and I was at risk of losing my contractor to a job moving in front of mine, plus I was paying for an unused porta-potty that was delivered in anticipation of the remodel for the contractors.

Kohler used a freight company called YRC and only set up the tub to be sent with standard shipping. It took over 2 weeks to get to the Sacramento delivery port and shortly thereafter to my home. The date of delivery was September 9th.

My project was delayed over 10 weeks due to the visible flaw in this tub and delays in getting it replaced!.

This tub model has quality control issues. I have owned this tub less than a year and have experienced multiple failures of the air massage feature. Several weeks after the tub was installed the bubble function failed.

Kohler was contacted and sent the incorrect part for repair. A new part was ordered and a Kohler technician dispatched and again the wrong part was sent. At this point we were informed that the correct part was on back order and would not be in stock for 4-6 weeks.

This was unacceptable so Kohler agreed to replace the tub. The new tub was received approx. 2 weeks later and installed. The new tub’s bubble massage feature failed as well – this time quicker than the first tube.

The technician was dispatched and the tub was repaired. The tub again failed several weeks later. The technician was dispatched and determined it was the switch. A new switch was ordered but the wrong item was received despite Kohler having the model and serial number.

The new switch was received shortly after and installed and – yep – again the tub failed within less than 3 weeks of new switch installation. Please learn from experience and save yourself a tremendous amount of time, frustration and disappointment.

I ordered this bathtub without doing a search of the company first, because it was definitely at least a couple of hundred dollars cheaper through them, and they said (online) that it was in stock and would arrive in time for my project.

Then I read some reviews, and panicked. I called customer service to make sure it was in stock, and they said it was. So I waited patiently, thinking the worst. Low and behold, I got a fedex ground tracking number the next day.

Still nervous (about all of the reviews saying stuff comes damaged), I called customer service again to make sure I understood EXACTLY what I had to do during delivery (write “per inspection” on bill of lading if the box/crate appears fine, but you can’t unpack it with the delivery guy there), so that, if there were any issues, I could get a replacement.

Well, fedex came on time, with the tub, which was perfect. No problems what so ever. Maybe some have a bad time with this company, but my experience was totally normal and fine, and I love my new bathtub.

I will definitely order for them again. As for the bathtub itself, it is awesome. My contractor built a frame and dropped it in, tiling up the apron. Gorgeous! It’s one of the few, if only, deep soaker tubs that doesn’t have slip stuff on the bottom, which is terrible if you want to have a nice comfortable soak.

Perfect narrow size for my limited space, which was hard to find! Although it has lots of storage space, the two areas with the doors have only 1 shelf each inside, while the open space has way too many shelves.

Otherwise looks great and is still useful, but the lack of shelves inside makes it a bit limiting since the extra space isn’t being used wisely.

This piece is exactly what I wanted. I wanted to have a little more storage in my bathroom, and this piece is exactly the right size, and looks really nice, too. We did attach it to the wall, and it is sturdy.

My husband put it together, and said it wasn’t too difficult.

We bought two of these vanities, the 42 inch and the 60 inch in blue and grey. They’re beautiful. The drawers are sturdy and smooth, same for the cabinet doors and hinges. Even though the countertop was thinner than I expected, it’s very pretty.

I was very happy when these arrived and I saw them for the first time. Now, the countertops have discoloration on both vanities with less than six months of use simply from the soap we use to wash our hands.

It’s discolored where the soap drips from the dispenser on both countertops. The paint also chips easily so be very careful around this vanity and be sure to order paint matched paint, if available. The vanity itself has become discolored where spray and wash grazed the surface, think grey to brown.

It’s not a good look. I’ve used spray and wash for years and it’s never messed with the finish on any piece of furniture so this is a red flag. What other basic household products are going to mess with the finish? All in all, these vanities turned out to be lower quality than I hoped.

If you want your bathroom to look nice for years, these aren’t for you. We bought for the aesthetics and unfortunately it degraded very quickly even with adult only use. I wish we could get our money back.

I am furious I bought a $1250 vanity that forces you to stick with the hardware!! I was finishing the details in my remodeled bathroom and had the contractors assemble the vanity thinking no big deal, I’ll swap out the hardware once I decide what I like best.

NOPE. The middle top has ZERO ACCESS. You are forced to rip off the top of the vanity (including the sink) if you need to change hardware!!!!!!!!! Also, the cupboards seem small on the right and left sides.

I am so disappointed with this purchase.

IšverstiShow in original languageI got this for a bathroom, where shower steam will routinely get everything damp. Before I got this, I read reviews. The reviews were split between people who loved it because it is mildew resistant and scrubbable versus people who hated it because it gives poor coverage.

I was seeing all this stuff about it being streaky and basically transparent, but I blew that off. In the past, for small projects, I’ve just bought whatever was cheapest, and never had problems. One coat gets it colored up and a second coat means that any dings or chips or wear won’t go all the way through the paint.

Welp, I sure hope the people who swear this is mildew proof are accurate. It really does have terrible coverage. It’s almost like putting on a primer in terms of being see through. I had primed the wall, then had made and erased some pencil marks, and when I painted over those, the mostly erased pencil shows right through.

I primed over brown and did white primer until the surface was just a bit blotchy. After one coat of this, it was exactly as blotchy. I did a second coat and really, really focused on making the coat thick, since I will tend to do thin coats.

That got the coverage – two coats with me really stressing about making the second coat thick. But, the thing is that in the past when I’ve used a paint primer combo, I’ve done stuff like not even prime and paint over nasty greasy stained kitchen walls, and two coats of something else totally covered.

For my current bathroom painting situation, I did two coats of the 1-2-3 primer, then 2 coats of this, and it’s OK, but still with some blotchiness from the darker paint underneath showing through. I also painted some unfinished pine boards with this to add a bit of trim to part of the bathroom, and the consistency on the boards is like a primer.

One coat and all the knots showed. Two coats and it looked more like a white color, but still a bit blotchy. It’s seriously the worst coverage of any paint I’ve ever used, including random stuff off the sale rack for small projects and whatever budget brands.

I think that part of the problem is that it’s not self leveling. I painted with a brush. When I go back and compare to other things I’ve painted with a brush, this is a bit more prone to showing texture of brush strokes.

I think it’s not self leveling. This does harden really fast. With other paints, maybe if I go and do anything, like even lightly touch the surface, right the next day after painting, the paint will peel, but after a week cure time will be solid.

This paint is much more final after one day of cure time. So, with putting bathroom fixtures back up, that meant things didn’t have to stay totally take apart for as long. (Although, I did not shower or go in there much until a week of cure time.

) Yep, when I read reviews, there was the love/hate split for this paint. I am hoping that it proves to be mildew resistant and scrubbable as promised. People said that too, so hopefully they are correct as well.

9-1-21 Grey vanity – Tracking and shipping was good. The item however is very poor quality, especially for the price. The cabinet door is crooked, hopefully the adjustable hinges will take care of that.

One of the door knobs was GLUED on, no screw. One of the legs has deep grooves in the wood, like it was never sanded, and just painted over. Very noticeable and obvious, not a part of the vanity that won’t be seen.

And there is a pea sized chip out of the paint. The marble top looks like the pressure of the foam packaging dulled and marred the shiny finish. I have tried a stone surface polish and it made no difference.

There is also a 1″ area where the marble has a natural flaw, an actual mar in the surface that I can put my fingernail into, and it is not sealed. Sure to be a dirt magnet. The vanity top was “glued” to the vanity and has come loose.

Overall disappointed and unfortunately these days you take what you can get. I knew it was taking a chance ordering online sight unseen.

I love this vanity, it is beautiful and the storage is incredible for it’s size. I have a very narrow space located in an addition to an 1890 home and needed something that would fit and not look like it was, or be, cramped.

I am thrilled with my purchase! My only complaint is that while the drawers are soft close, they catch when you open them so you have to pull harder than you expect, and then to get them to close, they have to nearly already be closed before the “soft close” kicks in,.

I am very happy with my purchase. The overall quality is very good although it is a little strange that there is no back on the vanity. Love the slim and tall design, it is perfect for the small space.

Well designed and well made factory product that probably exceeds the quality of most such cabinet goods available. I have been a cabinet maker for nearly 40 years. I made my first vanity in 1984. Owing to an injury I have been unable to do much for the past several months and frankly, I couldn’t wait until I was well enough to make a new vanity for our remodel (which started before my injury – from which I expect a full recovery).

I prefer inset doors and drawers and appreciate that this cabinet has that same feature. Made from solid wood and carefully constructed. Drawer quality is good to very good though the materials for the drawer boxes are second tier at best.

QA on drawer front installation is fair to good. I had to remove one drawer front and re-install it so that it lined up with the face frame (and close). Drawer hardware is fair to good. For this price I was hoping for Blum or Häfele but it works fine.

Handles and knobs are good. The countertop is good to very good so far as are the backsplash and sink. Though I would have liked a metal trim piece for the sink overflow instead of a plated plastic one.

which we removed because it made the sink look a bit cheap. Overall a very good solution for our needs and we are happy with the end result. Under the same circumstances I would have no problem buying this again.

Beautiful. Sink is set back to far from front. Our top right door was broke/off track. Left side, third drawer down had it’s bracket 3 inches offset from the other drawers (weird). Love the height. Bottom middle drawer holds all my extra rolls of TP.

Have to push the soft closing drawers with enough force to get within 2 inches of closing or gently push until you get the drawer close to closing, to close on their own, or they just stay open. Love all the drawers; their sides are high enough; and they are deep enough.

I have the quartz top and when turned over to attach the sink, the bottom was wood – not sure how thin the quartz is. Back is open, although a vertical brace is needed to have the backsplash make contact with the vanity.

It is very nice looking. I would not buy again.

It’s a beautiful vanity! Looks exactly like the photos. It’s a very “sturdy” and well made, large 72” vanity. When I received it, it was packed with lots of extra padding and packing to prevent possible damage.

It had no issues or damage. Can’t wait to install it and put in my double sinks. I searched far and wide to find this particular vanity because it was fully assembled. I finally went to the company that makes it, Atlas International.

I couldn’t have had better customer support. They assisted me in every way possible. I even got 20% discount and FREE SHIPPING! Was told I would receive it late February or early March. It was delivered earlier than expected on February 19th.

Loved working with this awesome company. They DEFINITELY deserve a 5 star rating.

I purchased this on Amazon, and it was delivered in perfect condition just a few days later. Very well packed; took 15 minutes to free it from it’s carton. It came completely pre-assembled, which also pleased the hell out of me.

Note that the sink is siliconed to base, so if you are taking the unit up 15 stairs like me, then you will want help to keep from breaking it or you. It’s about 115 pounds with said sink affixed. By the grace of the plumbing gods, my supply lines were right at 16 inches and all I had to do was put the unit in place since the lines cleared the back support, and hook up the P-trap to the drain tail piece and install the single hole Moen faucet.

The drain U-shaped cutout in the top shelf is dead center, so getting the P-trap in was simple. I had a low floor tile and had to shim the left rear leg about 3/16′ and that was it. The bottom drawer is very sturdy and silent glide close, and also has a plasticized bottom so it won’t need to be treated or protected to keep the drawer bottom looking new and clean.

The shelves up on the top section are not plasticized, so I will be tiling those to match the shower that is being installed. The hinges on the doors are first rate, heavy duty and are silent close too.

I had planned two days of getting this thing installed and fully operational, but it is in and won’t be going anywhere until the next remodel in 30 years, and now I get to take my Sunday off for football!.

Overall we are pleased with our new bathroom vanity. It offers plenty of storage and the paint is easily wipeable. We needed to order three of these vanities due to them being delivered broken each time.

( cracked top) and put our construction delays for the bathroom rehab on hold for over a month. 4th time was the charm however as it only had a little scratch on the top and missing the overflow ring :).

They should really look into redesigning the packaging to ensure a safe delivery of this item.

This arrived in perfect shape. And is even more beautiful than the pics portray. I love the silent close doors. I paired this with a matte black faucet for an outstanding look. I love that the top is all one piece.

No seams to get gross over time.

The quality construction of the vanity in terms of the cabinet, hinges, soft-close drawers, and marble top is very impressive. It is a substantial piece of furniture for the renovated bathroom. While the packaging was extensive, a forklift prong still managed to get through the layers of wrapping.

I photographed the ding it left (on the visible side of the cabinet) and Houzz has offered a small discount, as my contactor will patch and refinish where the dent shows. I wanted to keep the vanity to install this week and order another vanity for the second bath in renovation.

I love this vanity! It is substantial and well made. The marble countertop is beautiful with its grey and white veins. The shelf under the sink inside the cabinet is a great idea but my sink’s plumbing was too low to allow it to fit.

The vanity is heavy and traveled a long way. A side of the carton was ripped and punched in but the inside packing protected the vanity and it was in perfect shape. Would definitely recommend this product!.

This vanity is a great value for the money. I had entertained the idea of buying a separate cabinet, quartz top and sink. But that combo would have cost around double the price of this fully assembled vanity.

The cabinet itself is solidly built with a deep-looking satin finish. Another reviewer described its colour as black, but under my lighting conditions, it’s a dark expresso. The marble top is 1″ thick and includes a 4″ high backsplash (adhere it with a bead of clear silicone).

The legs are height adjustable. Although the shelf is adjustable, I had to cut a U-shaped section out of the shelf to accommodate the p-trap (my drain rough-in was low). I used expresso polyurethane w/stain to paint the cut line.

I finished off the vanity with a contemporary style faucet (Grohe Eurostyle Cosmopolitan). It really looks great!.

Looks great, solid, well constructed, and the soft close doors are a nice touch. It arrived earlier than anticipated. It was well packed and had no damage.

Very happy with the Brantley wood vanity cabinet. I had seen the same cabinet on other sites, but this site had it for a $100. 00 less. When you are redoing a whole house, these savings come in handy.

So not only was the cabinet excellent quality, but it was an awesome price! I’d say that was a win, win!!!.

You have to put it together and buy your own handles. it’s quite beautiful, but dealing with the shipping company is not worth it. They were about 2 weeks late then I had 2 schedule a drop off between 9am and 5pm then they didn’t show.

when I called the company they scheduled another appointment at 9 – 12 since the guy was a no show, but when I called at 11:30 to make sure, they said it would be there between 1- 5. This company needs a new delivery service.

Paint pretty thick with a lot of trash in it like the paint had dry in the can pior to adding color to it definitely not the best bang for the buck

Snow Day is a lovely white that plays well with other colors. I combined it with Shade trim in my little parlor (it’s too small to be a family room) and the paint alone was enough to transform a drab little room into a space we want to sit and read and pet our cats.

At first, I painted the entire room, trim and all, Shade, but it didn’t suit the room somehow. I went back and painted just the walls and ceiling in Snow Day, and it looks marvelous. Covering Shade took four coats of Snow Day simply because it is so dark.

So far, I’ve used Snow Day, Current Mood, Nairobi Blue, Whipped and Matcha Latte. They are all lovely colors, but what I love about Clare paints is their depth of color and how they are so very interesting.

I don’t look at Nairobi Blue and think, oh, that room is blue. It captures your attention and makes you think about things in nature that are that color and where you might have seen it before. It makes dark wood furniture glow and loves all blues, greens and teals, grays.

Best paint I’ve used in terms of feel & coverage. Amazing. This is a truly beautiful color. It is more blue-grey than I had hoped. Wondering if “Vacay” would have been the better shade for me. I don’t need much of this color, so I won’t be purchasing a gallon of “Vacay” to find out! Trying to find the right color in another brand.

I am giving 3 stars instead of 5 because like many others, I wish I this paint came in pint or quart sizes for small projects. I also wish Clare would sell tiny pot samples like Farrow & Ball. Actual paint is a truer test than peel & stick color swatches.

I am much less likely to order a full gallon from Clare when determining the best shade – who doesn’t need to try more than once?! Overall, great colors, great paint. Hope this company listens to its customers and makes the process of finding the right color just as convenient as their other services & more affordable.
