20 Best White Hair Chalk (2022 Updated)

My daughter loves to dress up and show off. Whether it is closed containing the themes of her favorite shows, or looking like a little princess, or anything in between, she loves to dress up. Up. These chalk hair combs are easy to use.

It is easy to use a different colors to create different colored highlights in hair. Also, the chalk easily washes out during bath time. The only downside is that it can be messy with your hands switching from comb to comb and partitioning out the various hair strands.

Aside from that, they are fun to use when doing dress up with your little one.

This hair chaulk is not great at all. It’s difficult to get the color on the hair strands if it’s not super taught. It doesn’t spread evenly and chunks end up with some color and some without. It smells bad.

It is easy to use and works well on light color hair. Barely works at all on brown or darker hair. Would not recommend or use again. The colors are pretty tho!.

I love the chalk, but the first box was shipped loosely in a large box with butcher paper. The box of chalk was completely smashed from the roll of paper. They sent me another box, packaged in a padded envelope.

When I opened it up it was also smashed. Someone in the shipping department needs more instruction.

We’ve been using this product for years, thank God for auto delivery. If you’ve never use this and you have any gray hair give it a try. I do color my hair on a regular basis and we all know what it’s like it’s just a short period of time after your color and grays start coming through.

Dab a little bit of this powder on the roots and it will carry you through until your next color. It’s perfect. It’s actually stays on throughout the day. I keep one in my purse, one in my make up bag, and I throw one in the car.

It’s actually extended time in between my hair color when I can just touch up a little bit on the part in my hair or if gray hair is peeking through framing my face. Depending on what you’re trying to do with it you really only need a little bit of the powder.

Great product.

Salt & Pepper & the White. This product does a great job covering my pink thinning scalp. However, I wish they would make a selection with more salt than pepper. I have to buy white and put some of the salt & pepper into the white to make a much lighter grey.

The total white is too white and the salt and pepper is too dark. PLEASE MAKE AN IN BETWEEN COLOR: WHITE with GREY HINTS. Please!!! Or make a compact that is White w/ Touch of Grey ( Swirled powdered form).

Also, when One orders 3 compacts, I expected 3 brushes: one brush for each compact. Other than that, I highly recommend this product!! It works.

I tried the grey color first and it didn’t match my hair at all so I returned it and received the white a few days ago and it matches my hair perfectly. I do have some darker silver around my temples and neck area so I just highlight those areas so it blends in and looks natural.

I have some areas where the hair is very, very thin so I found that after using the product I use a large comb to brush the hairs back and forth and that seems to blend the powder into the hair better so it doesn’t appear so artificial on my pink scalp.

The powder definitely stays in until washed out and all I had to do was comb my hair and the coverage, body and style lasted for a few days. The brush does lose alot of bristles each time I use it which is disappointing and annoying but I have other brushes when this one can’t be used anymore.

I really like the color, the added body and ease of use this hair powder provides and plan to continue using it.

I bought this to use on my daughters hair to do a unicorn look. She has light blonde hair and the pigments showed nicely in her hair. They are a wax like material when you put them in the hair and looks chunky at first but smooths out pretty good when you comb through.

They make the hair stiff but I had her hair in a ponytail tail. Easy application. Easily washed out with shampoo. I would recommend this product.

I purchased this for my 6 year old daughter. She wanted her hair colored like the older girls. Anyways it’s easy to apply, however it does not show up that dark like on the box, and it’s really greasy.

It comes with adorable beads and instruction on putting them in your hair. She loves it anyways and was still excited to see her hair a little different. I would not recommend for a teenager if they are looking for darker colors, they would need something better than this product.

For my 6 year old it did the trick. I would recommend this to stall off the real hair color.

I got this for for my older niece for Easter. I make all the kids Easter Baskets for Easter and as the kids get older I have to get creative for them. I thought hair chalk would be nice for a pre-teenage since toys weren’t really an option since they didn’t play with toys.

I was able to make her a fun easter basket. She loved the hair chalk. The hair chalk worked pretty well even with her having darker hair. I would definitely recommend Alex Spa Hair Chalk Pens to anyone looking for extra flair for their kids.

Great way to add some hair color without bleaching or having it last for weeks. Very pigmented and I found it didn’t easily transfer. Texture similar to any other hair wax or grease. I can use it on wet or dry hair and it lasts until my next wash day.

Washes out very quickly. Only down side is it leaves hair a bit crunchy but adding a moisturizing product first helps with that. There are many colors of this brand available and I’ve bought two others since they’re so affordable.

I purchased this to color my hair for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s that I participated in today. I applied this last night for the first time. Application was simple, I just used some plastic gloves to keep the mess on my hands to a minimum and spread it on in small segments til my whole head was done.

It is a very pretty color! I did my whole head, have thick short hair and I have about half the container left. What I don’t like about it though it how stiff my hair is! It’s like I sprayed a whole thing of hairspray on my head.

It says your hair feels natural with it on, that is not true whatsoever. So I’m very happy with how the color looks, the application and even the scent isn’t too bad. Just with it didn’t make my hair sooo stiff! I haven’t tried washing it out yet so I’ll see how easy it is to come out later on tonight.

I would say the texture is smooth and literally blends into your hair perfectly. I recommend using gloves so you can thoroughly get it rubbed into your hair. You know the best part? No colorful hands even if you don’t use gloves.

I have a horse with jet black legs that plays hard and always has little scrapes/scratches. I don’t like the look of the aerosol coverups and the black chalk works perfectly for small areas and lasts all day at shows.

I used this to cover up some dark spots on his white socks and it worked great. I have a horse I run barrels on (so my wraps/dirt stain his white socks) and my daughter shows showmanship with. talk about an all around.

Love this stuff on socks! Stays put better than baby powder, is much easier to apply, too! Perfect for really making socks pop but not look overly fake or powdery. I like to apply it side to side, as opposed to up and down and rub it in just a bit with my fingers.

The color pigments with the orange, purple, and blue chalk stain fabric to a horrifying yet impressive level. Multiple bleach laundry loads had no impact on the cloths used to clean up, the stains are wildly pigmented (way more bold than tiedye).

Purple stains skin for 2 days as if it were hairdye. Make sure to thoroughly wash hands before touching anything porous, it will NOT come out.

My daughter loved this chalk. We used it outside to draw and be creative. The color selection is awesome and the chalk goes on the ground smooth and lasts for some time. I love that Crayola is a brand I can rely on for quality and Hallmark had prompt delivery.

For years this has been my go-to chalk whenever I needed to use a blackboard when lecturing. Very dense, sits nicely in the hand, and leaves a remarkably smooth and clear line on the board. However, the boxes I purchased recently (branded “Alphacolor”) just haven’t been the same.

The chalk lasts roughly 1/3 as long as the old chalk, writes much more choppily, and is in general less comfortable to hold. I used to recommend this chalk to anyone who asked — now I’ll recommend they avoid it.

This chalk is really nice! It draws with bold and visible marks without crumbling or creating too much chalk dust. I ordered it for my goddaughter who is 6 and loves to draw with chalk. She loves them and they do not break no matter how hard she might press down when drawing.

I was impressed with the Quartet Alpha White Lo-Dust Chalk twelve pack because of the very reasonable cost, the quick delivery and the fact that it produces very little dust. Great for coloring vibrant designs on pavements outdoors as well as on any message chalk board.

I would highly recommend and do hope to see additional bulk purchasing options in the future.

This product worked really well. My son has dark brown hair so I wasn’t expecting the color to show up that well in his hair but it did! He wanted his hair red for field day. It was a hot day and I was afraid he would come home with the color all over him from sweating but that was not the case.

It held really well in his hair. I would get this again and would try some of the other colors that are available.

I absolutely love love manic panic products. They are such great quality and not just “for” the price but in spite of the price. This is awesome for those of us who just want to experiment temporarily or those who like to keep their hair permanently colored or those who need or want it for something brief.

The color variety is amazing. Tge consistency is great. Its like a gel so that its not runny and messy when you try to apply it. Again great for us at home beauticians and beginners. I love it so much as a matter of fact that i just used it last night to highlight my nieces hair with the purple and blue.

It looks great. She wants me to add more today. And she was scared last night not thinking that it was foing to turn out good. I will post pics of the finished product later today. Soo i highly recommend this whole brand not just this one phenomenal product.

THE BEST COLOURED GEL OUT THERE! i first used this product when I was 10 years old an wanted to dye my hair bright colors. SUPER EASY TO USE! Doesn’t leave your hair hard and crunchy like how other temp products tend to.

Super easy to apply, hardly any mess! the color is super bright! even on dark hair too! Super affordable as well which is nice!.

Loved it. Though it wasn’t the best thing ever it did its job well enough. It wouldn’t be my every day go to but I still liked it. Improvement wise I think the texture could be better. The color was nice and honest perfect though.

Over all it was just okay.

I would say this brand Manic Panic is known more for the coloring being bold and for its color sticking around too long. Never would i use temporary, when i’m referring to this brand. i think if you want temporary color, stick to clip in extension or else the hair spray which is colored.

The thin profile of this belt is great for slipping under a harness while climbing. It’s fantastic if you will be in and out of your climbing gear for a couple hours. However, when it doesn’t have a harness over it, the tail can slip out of your belt loops easily and become annoying due to the thin, light profile.

Wouldn’t recommend it for everyday use. Seems durable enough to last a long time.

Probably the best of the cheapish chalk brands. Is friction labs better? Maybe marginally, maybe placebo, but either way not 3x the price better than this stuff. In the same price range, metolius has too many harsh additives for my skin, and flashed absorbs too much atmospheric moisture and becomes useless after the bag has been cracked for more than a week.

I was not very impressed with this chalk. I am new to climbing so this is only the second brand of chalk that I have every tried. The first brand was a cheap starter chalk that came in a resuable sock.

I was very satisified with it. Once I ran out I figured that getting black diamond chalk wold be an upgrade. I was wrong. Pros -Coats your hand very easily. This makes it great for a quick re-chalking when you are midroute.

-The chunks are mostly intact and are of a good size. I like to alternate between using a sock and just putting this right into my bag. The chunks made it easy to refill both without making a big mess.

– It does a decent job wicking away moisture. -A lot of chalk for the price. Cons -Does not stay on my hands very long. I need to reapply more than I did with my previous chalk. -The chalk isn’t very “sticky”.

My other chalk I used seem to make my fingers cling to holds like I’m spiderman. This chalk almost makes holds feel more slippery.

Its good chalk. Probably mostly just makes me feel better about my climbing. The ball keeps my chalk less messy inside my chalk bag. The ball is really easy to use, the chalk feels really smooth. I really haven’t had any issues with it but I’m not fussy about chalk.

It is harder to mark loose rocks when climbing outdoor as you do have to squeeze the chalk out of the ball. This chalk ball is definitely suited for gym use, if climbing outside just buy loose.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she took it upon herself to do her hair one evening before bed. The color was vibrant, I’ll give them that, but the wall she leaned against while reading before bed was vibrant as well.

Along with her clothes, sheets, and skin. That was the first and last time we used it.

So I have been re-purchasing this product for about five years and this does not disappoint! It’s the perfect color for my hair color, and I honestly use it because I have thinning hair and you can see my scalp a bit and this helps that mask that.

This is by far the best product I have used ever for my thinning hair. I don’t use a lot of it, with a small amount my hairline looks amazing.

To be completely honest, I bought this product because I had some extreme hair thinning after having kids. I wanted to fill in my part area. It does a GREAT job filling in those thin spots. The only thing I didn’t like is it gave your hair a LOT of texture after applying.

Also it can be a bit messy. Cover your forehead and areas you don’t want color. Overall though, it did what I wanted it to do. Cover up those thinning spots and help my confidence.

Provides good color. However, there is not enough range of colors. It’s a little pricey for how much you get in the bottle. It’s not very blendable either. It would work best for those with thick hair.

Medium to fine hair types are not suitable for this product. I wouldn’t recommend this to many people.

This is a great product. At first I thought I would only use a few of the many colors, but I found even the “strange” colors like orange and brown show up in my hair like gold and dark honey. I have “dishwater blonde” hair, and all the colors show up very well.

I saw one reviews saying it came off on their hands, and another that said you didn’t get much for you money. But I think they were trying to color all their hair. I use them like highlights, and didn’t have those problems at all.

To be honest at first I was a bit weary because of the fact the my hair is quite dark, but this product is absolutely amazing! The color shows up great on my hair and gives me a really nice bronze color.

I have dark brown hair which has only ever been dyed with wash in wash out, I’ve been considering getting highlights so thought I’d try the bronze beach version. The pads supplied mean that you miss the roots.

When the dye is applied and hair brushed out my hair felt sticky, after washing my hair once it had pretty much washed out but when straightening the dye was coming out on my hands and stuck to the straighteners making them bronze.

I’d recommend this if you just want to temporarily see what the colour would look like but not for anything permanent as the texture of my hair felt strange and it came out so soon. Delivery was great! Was delivered in two days.

Saw this product advertised and wanted to but it. Nowhere on Guernsey sells it so bought it from lookfantastic. My hair is very grey and I have ‘pink’ bits put in every time I go to the hairdressers.

As my hair is short and I wash it everyday, this product allows my to touch up the pink as and when necessary. I do use a cotton bud to put it in as my hair is so short the applicators would waste too much product for the length of my hair.

Would certainly recommend this hair chalk, easily washed out if you dont get the result wanted. I use it every day!! *****.

I’ve only tried it once, but they keep asking me to review so here goes. I put it on my hair dry just to play with it and see how well the color would show. The color is amazing, and I finally learned that silver is not for me.

lol The wax never dried in some spots, which could have been because I put it on too thick. I didn’t notice the flaking that some people have mentioned, but I did wash it out by the end of the next day.

Definitely need to be happy with your hairdo before it sets because no brush is going through your hair. Most of us with curly hair are probably used to at least sometimes throwing it up in a ponytail and letting it be chaos, though.

I might get more colors for Halloween or cosplays, but not something I’d try to use daily.

I like it. I bought the black. I go back and forth between platinum and dark hair. It damages my hair so much using regular hair dye and then changing my mind. This is a great way to be able to get my fix for the moment and then be able.

to change back. I’ve only used it once so far so It made my hair a neat costume color. If I use more next time I’m sure I can get it darker as the directions say. It cleaned out perfectly there was no trace of it in my hair.

It’s been hot out and I was a little worried about color running down my face while sweating at the factory luckily that did not happen. 🙂 I’d like to see more colors since this works so well or maybe I can even mix colors to make my own colors.

Discovered this product from an instagram ad, saw how cheap it was and all of the great reviews and gave it a try. I have straight, blonde hair, not much curl at all so I wasn’t sure how it would turn out.

I washed my hair, used a ton of detangle/conditioner spray and the purple came out so good. My hair was a little hard, but with a little more conditioner added I was able to even curl it after blow drying.

Best part is it’s temporary, so during the week I can go back to my “normal” hair color for work and weekends I can do my hair however I want. I am obsessed and will definitely be a return customer!.

I recently tried this hair wax and, honestly, it’s bad. The only great thing about it is that it washes out completely when you wash your hair, letting you try a bunch of different colors in one day if you wanted.

The bad side is that it makes your hair super stiff. I applied it all over my hair, it didn’t look exactly red. It appeared like a hot pink or pinkish purple. Throughout the day, I thought it would get better but my hair stayed stiff.

It got on some of my clothes and you can’t exactly touch your hair or else it will get on your hands. I thought I could loosen it up with a hair cream or hair serum and it didn’t help. I wouldn’t recommend this hair wax.

I would say it’s more suited for people with curly hair so they can scrunch it into their curls. But I put this in while my hair was straight and it was a messy and stiff 2 days.

Soooo I did receive this hair wax as a huge surprise from Mofajang thank you so much. But the wax did not make my hair feel or look like I dyed it at home. It made my hair feel heavy and yes it did color my super dark hair color but it just looked weird on it.

I could not brush through my hair like the directions say to because the wax would stick to the brush. I got 3 colors which are red,purple, and blue all did the same thing to my hair. Even my sisters hair felt this way when using.

I do not recommend in long hair or in wavy or curly hair at all. Unless you are wearing for just a few hours please do not wear this. Also does wash out very nice but a little bit of rain or heat and it will wipe on clothes badly.
