20 Best White Linen Curtains (2022 Updated)

I tried several window treatments including the linen curtains from Pottery Barn and liked the quality of these the best. Nice lining, weights on bottom and nice stitching. Not too heavy but cotton lining was just right for privacy and light blocking.

These flax beige curtains were a great deal and fit perfectly in my space. They let some light through and as linen curtains keep the space airy and light; however, they also work great for privacy (I’m in a street facing apartment in NYC – privacy is important).

The flax beige is a true brown based color (a lot of online linen fabrics have yellow undertones). The linen easily wrinkles and the curtains could use a good steam to get out the kinks in the fabric.

All in, I’m happy with the purchase and recommend.

These are beautiful curtains, and just the color I needed. They are a heavy linen and are fully lined, but be aware that they aren’t blackout curtains if they are pulled fully across your window. I am actually going to be stacking two on each side so they can pleat and give fuller coverage.

I wish they came in a wider width – they only come in 50″ and I could really use 80″ or 100″. But they are lovely and a great quality!.

These are exactly what I’ve been looking for over the past three years or so. I have high ceilings, and I could not find these longer-length curtains anywhere at a decent price point. At the high-end designer stores they wanted hundreds of dollars for drapes with about the same quality as these.

The color, drape, fabric and grommets on these drapes are perfect! They look more expensive than what I paid for them! They are not 100% blackout drapes, but they block out enough light to meet our needs.

not the same quality as before. I bought these curtains (same size and color) 2 years ago for our nursery and the quality is great. keeps the room pitch black during the day for nap time. I bought a second set for our new babys nursery and they’re see through.

They darken the room but definitely not as good as the first set I bought 2 years ago. They’re decent for the price but definitely disappointing when comparing the 2 sets we have.

I bought 6 panels. They are great for our master bedroom. Nice quality, lightweight, lined and well made. Just wish you had 86″ length. I need to try to lengthen the 84″ to 86″.

These curtains were very pretty & I added some trim to them to make them look more high end. Love that they were lined.

These curtains are perfect for what I wanted. I wanted something lightweight and light filtering but didn’t want to spend a ridiculous amount. The winter white color is pretty and really brightens up my living room.

The size was also as described – I was worried they wouldn’t be wide enough. Very happy with these!.

I tried 6 curtain sets from Wayfair (and paid shipping for returns, ugh), and 2 sets from Ikea before finding these curtains. I wanted bright white (so hard to find a true bright white curtain), textured, not shiny, not totally opaque, light and flowing, privacy curtains that would allow light in but NOT allow people to see in at night when the lights are on inside.

This last part was harder to find that bright white curtains (because I didn’t want blackout curtains). When the lights are on inside at night you can see shadowy figures, but you cannot make out details (you can’t tell what’s on a tv screen, for example).

The hunt is over and I’m buying 9 more sets for my entire first floor!!!!!!!.

I use high quality, natural fabrics in my home for the comfort, longevity, and ecological footprint. These beautiful Belgian linen cotton curtains fit those criteria and are incredibly stylish. I can absolutely picture these on Mount Olympus. I chose the ivory color to work with my warm beige walls and crisp white trim, and they blend beautifully, creating a soft, cozy feeling. I think my living area looks much more sophisticated after installing these curtains.

Nothing else changed. There’s a slight slub to the fiber, which gives it a very subtle visual texture. I also love that the curtains can be laundered; we have dust allergies, and a thorough wash is so much better than spending time vacuuming drapes to keep the dust at bay.

recently It was suggested that my Curtains had seen better days. well that was an understatement. I am by no means a professional interior designer but I like nice things. that was my frame of mind when I received my Lush Décor – Belgian Flax Linen Rich Cotton Blend Window Curtain Panel.

I was looking for a set of curtains that was classy and modern and was not all cotton. I love the quality. it was what caught my eye right away. all the material is top quality and it really impressed me how nice it was right out of the box.

they seem easy to clean and will last hopefully for the next 10 years or so. they have so many different colors to choose from but the hybrid cotton and flax linen combo is really a nice tough. not that I have my bedroom window done I will be ordering for the rest of the house.

I tend to fill my home with neutral decor. I use more texture than color. These Belgium Flax Linen and cotton blend are perfect for that. The material is really soft with just a hint of texture. They came out of the package a little wrinkled but started loosening up as i hung them.

I did do a quick steam and they hung really well. Nice flow. I let them puddle on the floor a little. They are pretty thin. I would say they filter the light vs offering much shading. If I were to use them in a bedroom I would pair them with a light blocking lining.

Although I like them and they are luxurious, They are a little spendy. The only reason i took away a star.

A perfect blend of linen and polyester. Enough linen to look crisp, enough poly to prevent wrinkling. they have a lovely “hang” to them, not flimsy. The color is not solid. a bit of white, a bit of natural linen which gives them a rich, expensive look.

The only thing I would recommend to the manufacturer is to create loops that snap or button so that you don’t have to pull the rod completely out to hang them if you decide to use the loops. They can also be hung using rings/clips.

I have purchased these 3 different times for 3 different spaces. they look great in each. I purchased them based upon reviews on the Houzz site and I couldn’t agree more. You cannot get a better look at any price.

So happy I decided to order these! I ordered these to cover a series of three windows in my family room and they look fantastic! I was worried the color would be darker than indicated on the site but they are true to the color of the photo and what I needed for my space.

I need to have them shortened because the length I required was between the 84″ and 96″ but once done, they will be perfect! The quality is great but definitely heavier (as indicated in the title) than other curtains in my home.

The weight provides the beautiful draping effect. I knew they were unlined when I purchased but ideally I wish they were lightly lined. I may decide to do so while having them shortened.

It’s hard to buy curtains online but these are even better than imagined. They hang beautifully and are a real steal at the price. I have recommended them to my mother and other family members as well.

I wanted something that had a backing and provided privacy because we just removed our blinds after years. These are blackout curtains as well, they provide adequate darkness during the day which I love, so no glare on my tv and you can’t see in at night.

Highly recommend. They are very thick and heavy. I always wash new curtains/bedding/clothing before use so I just threw them all in the washer and I’m assuming it came out because I could not find the stain.

Id definitely suggest washing them, there was a residue/film in the washer during the wash. I’d say these curtains are 50-75% blockout definitely not the 99%. Color is pretty vibrant and beautiful. It’s very pretty for a neutral room.

They are so soft and weren’t wrinkled when I took them out of their packaging or when I took them out of the dryer.

the style is smart and lovely looking. The fabric is very “rough linen looking”, quite stiff and quite wrinkly. The bottom white is not a true white at all, but a dirty white. That was a bit of a disappointment.

I washed them before hanging to see if some of the massive wrinkles would leave and soften the stiffness. It did help some. They could still probably stand a steaming to remove the rest of wrinkles. Im going to let them hang a bit to see first.

I thought they were worth the work because I LOVED the look. I think they are perhaps overpriced due to the fabric.

These are not heavy, sophisticated linen drapes. They are the lightest weight, almost sheer, panels. I love them. The sun comes through them every morning and they provide plenty of privacy in the evening.

but we have no neighbors. If you want something for absolute privacy, or to block out the sun, these are not for you. But for what they are, they are really nice.

I bought them for a guest house with french doors. The main room has a sleeper sofa and the curtains are opaque enough for privacy, but sheer enough to let in light. They’ve held up well over the last year with many guests coming in and out of the guest house.

Highly recommend.

While the description says sheer, I’d call it a heavier weight than than, which is a good thing. There’s nothing flimsy about these curtains. They let some light through but provide plenty of privacy.

The stitching is done well. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy more.

I am big on having a bright spacious bedroom and living space. I usually avoid curtains because they look bulky and close off the room. However the Archaeo Linen Cotton Blend Curtains are perfect for my bedroom.

I wanted to add a decorative flair to the room, without closing out the light. These curtains are perfect because they are no see through, but the light can still get into the room. They were super easy to put up as well.

They are made of a wonderful material, which is soft but still seems durable. I haven’t washed them yet, so that will be the true test.

I am happy I discovered these awesome Archaeo Linen Cotton curtains! I was looking for something light and airy for my sunroof, and these are just perfect. I love the way they hang on my rod, and fit perfectly.

They were easy to install, very lightweight and look great. I have received several complements on them. I like the fabric, very lightweight which makes for easy washing. I would recommend.

I put these up in my bedroom as white just goes with everything. And these are gorgeous curtains for being cotton. I was worried the cotton fabric was going to make it look like some type of blanket but it looked really good.

Alongside that knowing the fabric material is cotton it makes it easier to wash in the future. These definitely surprised me they look amazing and they look like high quality curtains.

These curtains are just as described. I bought the shorter size to put on a large bow window in my living room. The fabric is much different than usual sheers and are of good weight to provide privacy yet allow light to pass through.

I bought enough curtains to cover the curtains, but found that because they are full, I was able to use just one panel instead of the pair of panels on each window.

The advertised size of the curtains is 60×24, as well as the size shown on the placard inserted with the curtains. Unfortunately, the actual size is 60×22 and too short for my window. I do not fault Boscovs, as they are not the manufacturer.

The only way Boscovs could have known this would be if they perform quality control on every product they receive for sale by them. So, I will donate them to the Salvation Army thrift store, and look elsewhere for an appropriate curtain since the 60×36 curtains are much too long (of course, I could rehem them).

I really do like these curtains. Love the detail on them. I gave it 3 stars because the dimensions were switched they are not 30”long by 24” wide. They are 24” long by 30” wide so they ended up being too short for my bathroom window.

The description also stated they were white, but they were off white more towards an ecru color. Very sad to have to return them, but they were not the correct size as stated.

Love these drapes! I purchased last year snd reordered more of the same drapery for a different room. Hang and lay beautiful, wash and dry lightly. May need a slight touch up with iron.

It is hard to tell from the closeup image included in the product listing what “crushed” texture means so I was a bit surprised when I received them. Make sure to zoom in on the close-up before purchasing.

However, it matches the look I’m trying to achieve so kept them. The four stars is because they look a little cheap when used alone and the corners turn up slightly. We used them as the interior sheer on a double rod and the overall look is lovely.

Loved the curtains! I use them as a room divider. They give a chicness to the room while allowing light through, still providing the room-to-room flow needed with semi-privacy. They were well worth the purchase.

I love these window panels. The fact they are washable linen is a big plus for the white panels in a seaside home. They are very nice quality and better than what I have found with other companies. Only thing I would request to to also offer an unlined version to provide an even more airy appearance.

Really love the curtains. Very well made. Just know linen is very wrinkly and I had to iron and iron. Finally, hung them, sprayed with a fine mist of water and wrinkles disappeared. Happy with purchase.

I love them. I bought the blue and the colour and texture is exactly as advertised. I gave them 4 stars rather than 5 because I haven’t had a chance to hang them yet so while expecting everything to be great I won’t know until they are hung.

The pictures show and describe the fabric as flowy but it’s pretty stiff and rough feeling. The denim blue is a bit darker than pictured but it’s a pretty color and the fabric looks like linen.

I am in love with these curtains. They are well-made and look beautiful in my home. Most importantly, though, they have no outgassing issues. I am very sensitive to vocs from fabrics but I can use these right out of the box.

I have the natural and white and neither caused me any issues. If you have similar problems with headaches from the dyes or other processes for fabrics, try these curtains.

These look incredible in our living room. Airy, breezy, let’s sunlight in. Between these curtains, and the parachute, ivory knitted rug- we created such a cozy and welcoming living room we love to be in and friends and family constantly compliment on when they come over.

These are expensive items- but totally worth it. They are investments and will last for years and years. We are so happy we went with parachute to help decorate our first home!!.

I honestly like these curtains; however,I had to purchase 4 panels for my window and one of the panels is a good 1. 5 inches shorter than the others. All of the panels have been steamed to remove major wrinkles and it’s still shorter than the others.

Kind of disappointed as we have a lot of parachute products we love but this suggests maybe the quality control isn’t fully there.

I recently received Soft sheer 50×84 white curtains and all I can say is, “wow”. I hadn’t realized before now how much beautiful curtains can really bring a room together. For a long time now it felt like something was missing in my bedroom and now I’ve found that missing piece.

These curtains are stylish, beautiful, simple yet special. My bedding is also white so these curtains really brought the whole room together!!! All I can say is that absolutely love these!!.

Not for me. These reminded me of bed sheets. Just not my style. The fabric was nice but extremely overpriced. I ended up returning.

Love these curtain panels. They are substantial in weight. There are weights in the hem to provide a weighted hang. The drawback is I washed them to get out the chemical smell and the wrinkles are tough.

Used a steamer to no avail. Will have to try and iron and spray starch to see if they come out. Otherwise, it’s to the dry cleaners for pressing.

The quality is great. Color was exactly what I expected. Ironing the curtains was definitely required. (Obviously) I wouldn’t call these “black out curtains” they definitely darken the room a ton but not blackout.

But they are still light and airy. They look great in our nursery.

These curtains were exactly what I have been looking for! I am so happy I took the chance and bought them online. They were exactly as described, and very close to the picture. They are substantial, lined, and very pretty.

These linen sheets are just what I wanted and they were so easy to hang with the ties. The sheers are classic and simple looking, and the ties add a special touch. Love how the ties allow you to vary the length or draping on the floor.

I used a steam iron to get the creases out (from the packaging) and they ironed out easily. Really love these drapes!.

What I like: lovely ivory color, a soft off-white. Tie tops are adjustable to help even out panel bottom length. Very lightweight and sheer. Easy to hang from small diameter rod. What I don’t like: as with many ready-made imported curtains and drapes the panel lengths are not the same.

I ordered two panels in 96 length. One of my panels is 96; the other is 97. An inch makes a big difference when hanging drapery down to hardwood floors — tops of my panels do not have a perfect finished appearance because they each must be tied differently to make them hit floor at equal lengths.

Makes a should-be-simple job a bit complicated. Stores really should stay on top of their vendors as far as quality control. Best way to get perfectly even and matching drapes is to order custom made.

I’m keeping my panels because who knows what lengths I would get if I went through the return/exchange process; just not as pleased with this purchase as I have been with previous Ballard items.

I ordered 4 of these panels for a large set of windows. I did have to wait, but the panels arrived just as pictured. They are sheer and lovely. I did take them to the cleaners to have them pressed, because they are linen, and the wrinkles won’t necessarily fall out.

We hung them yesterday and they are perfect. There is a stiff paper taped into the inside of each casing, which we had to cut to get the rod to slide through the casing. Some had just one, and others had several.

These are sewn to the back of the casing and do not show from the front. The panels hang beautifully and look very full.

I bought 3 pairs of these to layer between custom made French Linen curtains, velvet panels and tulle nets. (I have dyed one set Navy and one set a blueyTeal. ) I was unsure about a cotton linen mix but these are simply gorgeous.

They look great with linen and nets; they diffuse the light perfectly. They provide privacy but still let in plenty of daylight. They are a bit thicker than cotton muslin and not as thick as washed French linen.

They are lovely and soft to touch. I have mine on tracks and my other curtains on poles above the track. They have 3 track height options and can be hung on curtain rings too. There is also a hidden rod loop option for the rod pocket look.

I plan to buy a few more pairs so I have spare white sets should the unthinkable happen. These curtains are high quality. The price for two panels is very generous. They are made with 60% organic cotton too.

I love these! The lining is almost like velvet. They feel soft and expensive. Heavy but not too heavy, and they drape very nicely. I ordered White and it’s not at all white. More of a stoney-beige but it somehow looks fab against magnolia walls and white bed linen.

They’re not completely blackout and you can see light coming through, but they do cut out enough light for me. You can’t use hooks, you need to thread your pole through the panel at the top.
