20 Best Whitening Face Cream (2022 Updated)

I’ve been using caviar cream for 6 years. Initially, on and off because it was so oily and although it gave brilliant results after a few days,I soon started having breakouts. Seems like they have now rectified the problem.

Not oily anylonger;it has a lovely matt texture now. Although results aren’t as evident as before, the it’s a lot better. No breakouts now For a year. You no longer get the really bright and smooth complexion.

I still see results which I’m really pleased with. I suffer from hyper pigmentation so only require a cream to give me an even skin tone to match the rest of my body. Caviar gives me just that. No dark circles or dark areas around my mouth.

I hope that they maintain the current formula because out of every cream out there, this has proven to be the best. Oh, to enhance results, I use retinol once or twice a week to peel the top layer of skin and allow caviar cream to work its magic.

This cream brings out a glow in my face and clears out my spot leaving my skin flawless. It controls my oily skin and gradually lightens the complexion. It makes my skin really soft and has really made a difference to my skin tone, my skins looks clearer and lighter.

It is some oily so it is not good for oily skin.

I used this face cream for 2 weeks hoping it will make my face glow, but it made my face black and burn. I can not go out of my house due to the embarrassment from this useless cream. l bought it because the body milk was good.

I wish i could post my before and after picture of the face cream, buying this product is a scam and waste of money, its nonsense and rubbish. DO NOT BUY !!!.

I have been using ponds products for few years now and couldnt doubt its effectiveness. they always work as a charm. one of the features that attracts ponds products is that its not oily. I can see alot of changes on my complexion when using the cream.

Added SPF makes the cream even better.

Been using this product since 2011, block spots and old scar in my face gone. New spots gone in a couple of days. No oily face anymore.

I have dry/sensitive skin and have been trying to find the right moisturizer to replace my previous one which has been discontinued from the Ohui Korean brand. And i have tried almost everything from drug store to high luxury brands without success until now.

I was hesitant to purchase, because of the fragrance and mixed reviews. I’m very glad to have given this and their cleanser a chance. This cream is moisturizing through out the day and without any negative reaction what so ever like(watery eyes, swelling, itchiness).

Very Supple, dewy without the shine and got compliments on my skin the day after. Highly recommend for those who have similar sensitivity as i do. Please Shishido, do not discontinue this cream!.

It’s been a week or so I have been using it, hasn’t lightened or whitened or brightened my face. It’s a good moisturizer for dry skin, combination skin and oily skin may get acne from the use. It has not helped with my hyperpigmentation at all.

Other creams have given faster brightening and whitening effect. So will update in 3 weeks if I notice any change. It’s not worth the money. Garnier, L’Oréal, no7, Vichy are better and cheaper options.

I don’t usually write reviews (think this might be the first one I’ve ever written on Sephora), but I wanted to pass along a PSA after purchasing (for the record I did use the whole jar and finished all the product): The smell is overwhelming for me.

It smells like a strong perfume smell, which is unpleasant and doesn’t seem like it would be a good thing for those with sensitive skin (myself included). As far as the effectiveness of the product, I suppose it did (marginally) brighten up my skin after each morning application, but any possible brightening effect seemed only superficial/cosmetic and didn’t seem to make any lasting results.

Needless to say, I did not repurchase. I am now using Caudalie Vinoperfect Niacinimide brightening moisturizer, and I like that a lot better (no strong, artificial smell, feels better on my dry, sensitive skin, and I definitely notice lasting results after only a few weeks of use).

I used this daily for years, and I don’t know when it happened, but it completely took all the color out of the moles and freckles on my face. The freckles were gone, the moles are small bumps. This has niacinamide.

The lightening that happens over time is permanent–just stay out of the sun or use sunscreen. I quit using this the last two years or so, and I had no freckles or discoloration until I started going outside without sunscreen while pregnant (makes you more susceptible to hyperpigmentation), and even then, the moles regained no color.

So, here I am, back again to fade the freckles. I can’t speak for other skintones, but if you are naturally a pale European skin type, and your face just got a little too much sun, this cream on your face is like a temporary reset until it has time to actually lighten you back up with the niacinamide.

It doesn’t look grey, or have a sunscreen like cast. If you have large pores and use an incredible amount more than you need, white may be seen settling into them–just use a lighter hand. It will make any inflamed pimples or irritation stand out more, though, as it lightens all the skin around the red.

You’ll go back to normal when you wash it off. I apply after my usual moisturizer (cerave daily) and like using missha no13 BB creams over top, goes very well and evens out any redness. Snow white cream was not moisturizing enough on its own for my dry skin type.

I’ve only tried 2 skin whitening creams now so I’m honestly going to compare this to the CHICA Y CHICO Nude Fantasy whitening cream. First off to preface, I have medium-tan skin and my goal is honestly to be fair and pale.

If you have the same goal, then continue reading. What I didn’t like about it: 1) it has a smell/fragrance. 2) it’s more moisturizing than the Nude Fantasy one but due to this, it seems oilier and it moves around on top of my skin if you don’t exfoliate well – obviously you’re suppose to ensure you’re well exfoliated but I mean to say, this is not forgiving if you find you missed a spot.

And lastly, 3) it’s not AS “whitening” as the Nude Fantasy – which might be a good thing for people who are looking for a mild, natural lightening effect. For me, the Nude Fantasy made me look paler – almost ashy to be honest – but that’s the effect I personally want.

Overall, I think it’s an alright whitener – I think it’s better suited for people that want a more natural look.

i was actually looking for a tone up cream to use on my knees and elbows, so i thought i’d give this a try. it does have a tone up effect/white cast, but its not TOO bad, or at least wasn’t horrific like i was expecting.

i’m half black so im always a little skeptical when it comes to creams/spfs from korea since they have whitening stuff in em. anyway this cream actually has a nice brightening effect if you leave it on overnight, which i what i do now for my face and neck area.

the white cast actually sinks into your skin overnight bc when you wake up your skin just looks bright and healthy, which is super nice. there’s niacinamide in this cream too, so it’s actually doing good for you in the long haul if that’s a skin concern you wanna tackle.

i wouldn’t recommended wearing this outside unless you’re as white as the cream itself, cuz you just look casket ready. it would probably work nicely as a primer though if your looking for a bit of extra brightness below your foundation.

It was not as expected at alll. Packings were open just taped with adhesive tape. Really scared to try products without any seal. Not satisfies at all. I can’t understand why the products were not sealed.

Very good cream for dry skin. If you use this cream Everyday, your skin will become a few shades of fair. I like it.

I bought this cream to get rid of my dark spots. I used a tiny little amount in three of my face dark spots and right away I felt all my body shaking , my tongue got numb, I couldn’t breath and I had heart palpitations.

I have hormonal acne, I have tried different types of treatments for acne and dark spots, including different types of face creams, and antibiotics prescribed by my primary doctor. I also bought pills like Acnetame, vitamin B5 and none of them helped.

I wanted this to do so much more. Melasma is stubborn, completely stubborn. This lightened slightly but not enough for my melasma to not show, or freckles to fade. It’s very inexpensive which is fair given it’s not very strong.

For tough melasma I spent money on the Obagi serum with hydroquinone. That made my melasma mustache disappear like magic and my freckles faded significantly.

It’s been 2 weeks since I got the cream and I have been using it twice a day on my face and neck. While my skin feels smoother I have yet to see any fading on my color. I have Keratosis pillaris so I used to feel bumps on my jaw line and under my chin.

I don’t feel them anymore and my skin feels smooth, so it seems to be working somewhat. I guess I have to give it more time to see any fading or whitening on my skin.

This is the first time I have used a product by the same company, but this one is a whitening cream. I have fair skin as it is, but this one really makes my skin feel so moisturized and lovely. Once I used this product, my skin looked and felt younger and it did not take a long time to sink.

Usually I cant tell a huge difference within the first few days of using an eye cream, however with Kiss Red E I definitely noticed my under eye area getting brighter! I’ve always dealt with dark circles but after months of using this, it seems like they are almost gone.

I like to use this twice a day andit goes on nice and evenly. It takes a little bit of rubbing in for the cream to fully disappear but I like that because it makes me rub the product in more. Totally worth the money, I bought this in January and I still have a lot of cream left!.

This product has a good quality. Helps to reduce some puffiness under eyes and moisturizes skin well. I would recommend it for for everyday use.

I developed an allergy to the eye cream within a few days of starting to use it. Swollen eyelids, red bumps around the circumference of my eyes- it didn’t work for me.
