20 Best Wide Strap Bra (2022 Updated)

I favor Playtex Bras but have a hard time finding any in size 36DDD. I have this Bra in a 38DD, purchased from another retailer, and the band is slightly too large and cup slightly too small. So when I saw that QVC had this bra in my correct band size AND a DDD, I was ecstatic.

As I noticed the 36DDD size did not follow numerically in the sizes listed here, I contacted QVC to reaffirm that the Bra size WAS IN FACT a 36DDD, and was assured that it was correct. Should have known better, since I have not been able to find a Playtex 36DDD on other sites.

But I knew that QVC does get items EXCLUSIVE to them so I took a chance. WRONG! The Bra arrived and the Playtex packaging even listed 38DDD! The size stamped on the Bra is also 38DDD. I decided to keep the Bra since the cup size does fit a little better than the DD I already own.

I will just have to wear the bra on the tightest hooks to try and keep the band from riding up. I also checked other Playtex Bras here on QVC and there are others also showing a 36DDD right after the 38DD size.

I contacted customer service and explained the issue, and that they should have someone check the rest of the bras listed and correct that error. Cust. Svc was very understanding and did issue me a credit to be used in the future.

I am ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED WITH MY ORDER FROM ONEHANESPLACE! My 20/27 favourite bra feels wonderful, fits beautifully & I just received a positive result on my latest mammogram that I contribute to this bra, it’s construction & support and most of all.

PLAYTEX! Caring people that STILL CARE after all this time. I used to have results saying I have breast issues while I tried wearing other well known bra manufacturers. For the last few years I have gone back to Playtex & worn the Playtex Comfort Bra.

I’ve no doubt my recent mammogram is positively good thanks to Playtex. It felt so good to order new ones I admit. now without the tag. More comfortable than I ever could be in a bra. So. Thank You Playtex for keeping me healthy! I am considering another order of this bra again.

The title says it all. Love the Fit, Love the Look. I purchased this bra a few years ago in the private sector. I loved it then as I do now. I have searched everywhere trying to replace my old bras and add more colors to my everyday collection.

But, with no luck! Until, QVC offered them. Unfortunately, by the time I discovered them on QVC all of the colors were sold out in my size except for the black. Please bring them back in ALL the colors again.

I love the way they lift the girls and provide a smooth look without seems showing through my clothing. A nice overall smooth look with an uplift.

I bought these bras for years, size 48DDD. They were great for holding up the girls, figure flattering under clothes, fairly comfortable, good on the shoulders and material was tolerable. Because of arthritis, I was not able to reach around my back to hook the bra so I always had to hook from the front then pull around back.

The band was very tight and this was extremely hard to do in hot, humid weather. After a few washings, the band started rolling up-very uncomfortable. I just ordered this bra again, went up a size in the band and down a cup size, this time a 50DD.

EVERYTHING was wrong with this bra. I’m sorry to say, it does seem to me to look like a reject. Material is horribly scratchy, My old 48 Band is looser than this new 50, couldn’t even hook it without choking.

Had to use an extender to get it on. The DD cup was humongous, my girls were swimming, much bigger than my old DDDs. I have always fallen back on these bras when I go out because I can’t seem to find comfortable well-fitting bras in my size.

Very disappointed in the quality. Now I have girls without a home. If anyone knows of a good brand in 48 or 50 DD or DDD, please let me know, would be very appreciative. BTW, for the first time, I just found an everyday leisure bra, with front closure, that seems comfortable (tried on but not worn yet) that I just purchased that actually fits, 50DD/F/G (B2Y116, Leading Lady, Style 151 at Blair).

Just wanted something comfortable, with a little support, to answer a door or do a quick errand and wear around the house. Hope this review helps.

I never buy bras online as I rarely find one in store that fits, so buying online really is a gamble. Due to having knee issues I cant go traipsing through the store so I decided to look for something online anyhow and I came across this one.

I liked the fact that it had the style of a sports bra (higher on the chest) because the ones I own don’t keep the girls where they belong. In case you’re wondering why I just don’t put a sport bra over my original bra, this isn’t an option for me.

Its a fight that the sports bra wins at every time. It also makes me feel like Im suffocating. After reading numerous positive reviews I decided to take a chance and purchased it. I have to say Im extremely pleased.

Its a little stiff and Im even ok with that as long as nothing is pinching anywhere (and it didnt, once it was on it was very comfortable). The issue I was wondering about the negative comments. 1. Complaints about how sheer it is and they wouldn’t wear it outside their house?! 2.

The straps are not as adjustable as they should be. When I looked I thought the same thing until I actually had it on. The last thing a larger busted women wants is the girls to be flopping with every step.

They didn’t dig in at all. 3. The back hook and eye was too scratchy. It will be if you’re not putting the extra fabric under it to smooth it out. Any bra will do that, I know. 3. The stitching was poking and itching them? I felt nothing but comfort except like I said the stiffness because its new.

Even if stays on the stiffer side that would be fine too, I would then know that its still going to give me the support and comfort I bought it for. 4. The band in the cup area where a wire would normally be.

You shouldn’t feel this if the size you bought was correct. I ordered up the one size like it said and didn’t go by their recommendations. I normally wear a 36DDD so I ordered a 38DDD and its a perfect fit.

That band laid flat and didn’t need adjusting of any kind. I totally understand that one bra doesn’t fit all and that someone is going to find fault in their purchase. Im not that person. I love this bra and if things go well after doing physical therapy tomorrow (the girls stay put) then Ill be buying at least one more!!.

I am a large-busted gal. 36/38DD. (I ordered a Large) and am so tired of underwire bras. I’d been eyeing these styles of bras for a while but was quite worried that I wouldn’t get enough support and that they would stretch out.

I ordered this “Full Cup” bra, at the recommendation of other large busted reviews, and I LOVE it. I’ve worn the same bra every day for a week to really test the stretch and support. A few things make this bra excellent for larger busts: It has soft (removable) padding which covers nipples and makes the bra totally smooth.

It has adjustable straps so when it starts to stretch out, as every bra does, it can be reigned in. The full coverage is AWESOME. No chub showing through the sides or back. As I don’t look anything like the model, I expected the bottom band to roll with my rolls and it does, but I haven’t noticed it.

It is also not visible through shirts. I was worried about bounce, and I am completely supported in this bra. NO BOUNCE. Everything is nice and snug. The material is buttery soft and I have just come back to order a few more since I will be tossing my old underwire bras! The bra I have worn all day for a week (I will wash it when the new ones come, promise!) has not stretched out at all! I can’t comment on the “lift” part of the bra, as I don’t care about “lift”, rather I’m all about comfort, coverage, and support.

This bra is FIVE STARS on all those criteria!.

I don’t know why this has only 4 stars. I guess everyone’s preferences are a little different. Since becoming pregnant and getting used to larger breasts, I’ve not been comfortable in any bra and have had constant nagging mid back pain right at the bra line.

It went away completely with this bra. It’s soft and stretchy and has just the right amount of support without feeling restrictive. Even pre-pregnancy I was the type of person to take off my bra shortly after I made it in my front door, but I literally napped in this bra today comfortably without even realizing I was wearing it.

I’m so glad a friend of mine recommended it. I already ordered a second one. The only con I can give is that bc the straps are thick it would show with certain neck lines or tops with thin straps, but I wore a v-neck wrap dress yesterday without it showing.

It’s also not the most glamorous-looking but it’s simple and pretty. I can’t say enough positive things about it. It rapidly improved the quality of my life. If you’re on the fence, just buy it.

Love this bra! It’s actually so comfortable I fell asleep still wearing it. I bought it in both the pink and mink colors. The material is fabulous, so soft and with appropriate stretch. I’ve gained some weight so now I’m a 36D and the typical bras you find to accommodate that size are huge and unattractive with uncomfortable underwire.

I need a little padding so everyone doesn’t see I might be cold but don’t want a ton of padding to add additional cup sizes. The padding on the racerback is thinner than the True Body Lift Wireless. I had to return the other bra because the padding was too thick.

The only thing I would change or recommend for the next product is to make the straps on the racerback like that of the other bra, those are nice and soft.

This sports bra is comfortable and provides support, but it’s lined with removable pads. The pads move around, especially in the wash, and you regularly have to unfold and readjust them. It’s difficult to do, because the opening is really small to reach into.

Without them, the bra fabric is too thin. I’m not sure why they would make an unlined sports bra in the first place, and then make the pads so difficult to adjust and center.

LOVE this sports bra. I wear a 34D-DD and always am looking for supportive sports bras for when I go running. It is difficult to find them sometimes especially ones that have skinnier straps that won’t dig into your shoulders.

Bought in 2 colors already and will probably buy another!.

I bought one and then immediately realized I needed more! I now have 3 and wear them all the time. Super comfortable and very supportive. I’ve been wearing them for months and they still look brand new.

(I bought a medium and usually wear a 36 DD).

I was extremely excited to get this True Everybody Skinny Strap Triangle Bra! I’m always on the hunt for a better bra than what I have. I have 2 tumors in my left breast and it’s always hard for me to find the kind of bra that I can wear all day, without it causing me any pain.

Or squishing my chest too tight. This True Everybody Skinny Strap Triangle Bra arrived very quickly to my house once it was shipped and on the way to me, which I really appreciated. I also appreciated the easy to open packaging.

The Skinny Strap Triangle Bra itself is super soft and very comfy. It is gentle in my chest and doesn’t squeeze me to death. The Skinny straps don’t cut into my shoulders either. The materials it’s made out of feel very nice on my skin and to my touch.

Even the color is nice in person. It exceeded my expectations once I got to try it out. I can leave it on all day and not have to take it off after a few hours of wearing it like I do other brands I own.

I’m especially tickled with how true to size this bra is too. Very nice. I highly recommend receive who is looking for a comfy spaghetti strap bra, to give this one a try. You can’t beat the materials, the comfiness or how soft it is.

This bra is unique compared to other bras that I have owned in the past. The material is stretchier, the length is slightly longer and the removable pads are circle shaped which makes it so much easier to put them in without having to change their alignment versus all the other bras I have with removable pads that are more triangular shaped and harder to maneuver.

This bra is very comfortable and true to size. It fits under V neck tees without showing and works for all my other shirts as well. Just be aware that the washing instructions say Hand Wash and Line Dry only.

The bra material is very thin and stretchy so it makes sense that it says to hand wash it to make sure it lasts as long as possible. My bra did accidentally go through the washer and dryer with my other clothes after I hand washed it the first time but I am happy to report that it survived.

Overall I like the length of the bra, the support and no show through of the pads and the material that makes this bra extra comfortable.

You’ll want to know that the padding is one big pad that is not meant to come out of the bra. There is a keyhole of sorts in the center-inside-front of the bra for the pad to come out if you really need to take it out; but I don’t think you can do it without tearing the hole apart.

That was information I wanted but was not provided in the description. The fit is nice and snug but not restricting. The size chart said I should get a large, but it was too big, especially under the arms.

So, I exchanged it for a medium which fit my 34 C chest very well. I can’t say how well it works in actual sports as a sports bra because I’m not sporty. But I can say that there is no jiggle when I hasten to cross a street or bound down a set of steps.

I am very happy with how lifted and supported I am in this bra. I wear lightweight clothes, mostly cotton; so, if a bra doesn’t offer me support, it shows. This bra makes my clothes fit nicely and make me appear a little more youthful because of that lift.

Other than that wonderful lift, there is no sign that I’m wearing a bra because it is undetectable by sight; no lines or bumps. It really can’t even be felt when I get a hug because the fabric is so smooth under my tops.

As for comfort, I forget it’s even on me. You might want to know that it’s a bit of a trick getting into and out of it because it is nice and snug. But it has enough stretch to accomplish the task. I’m glad Lily Silk makes this bra and I hope they always will and that they always make sure it’s constructed well with quality materials.

I can’t wear traditional bras. And I’ve tried other pull-over style bras but found them un-supportive, uncomfortable in fabric, and soon worn out. This one is just right in every way.

I love everything about this bra except it comes in one size “fits all”. I am taller and there for bigger than most and sadly the bra was too small for me. This bra is seamless without hems, makes it so very smooth! I find it to be a healthy bra.

This is rare, as most bra designs block the bodies ability to keep your breast healthy ; ( My friend now has the bra, she loves it! Bets bra ever. Please ask LilysSlk to make it in a bigger size.

I am fairly large chested 34DD) and bought this product for a bra to sleep in. Well it works perfect for this I find myself not wanting to take it off in the morning and wearing it for the day as well.

The support doesn’t compare to their T-shirt bra or underwire but is extremely cool and comfortable. The customer service is helpful when tracking the product. I have also bought clothes from this company and really appreciate the quality product and style.

This bra is very comfortable to the body. Sometimes I just want a light support under my layers of clothes especially on cold weather and this bra is perfect. I can even sleep with it on and forget about it.

The only reason why the four stars is that the hook and eye closure sometimes are hard to match. it would have been better if the loops stick out a little further. Thx Zulily for carrying this product.

I’ve worn this several times already and found it to be very comfortable, stays in place, with nice thick straps that don’t slip. It’s actually stretchy enough that I don’t even bother with the numerous snaps, just pull it over my head like a sports bra.

I usually wear a 36B so don’t fill out the cups totally. I think it’s a 36 fits all bra. There are darts in the cups which are a bit pointy and look odd under thin fabrics. Perhaps if I filled out the cups more, the darts would also fill out but I’m not sure about that.

At any rate, I just wear it under a sweater, cardigan, or top made with a thicker fabric and all is well.

I bought this in black just to try out the brand. I wanted a “sports bra looking” bra that would still “hook”. I love the front hooks. it’s much easier to put on than a regular sports bra for those more endowed, lol, like myself.

It’s extremely comfortable for a bra, lol. It IS NOT PADDED, so if you need padding this is not for you. It’s great for wearing under sweaters or heavier clothing. looks great even if left showing for those “off shoulder” shirts.

I bought this bra specifically and solely to be able to wear after shoulder surgery and it turned out to be a great choice! I researched for HOURS to find something that would be 1) racerback so the strap isn’t sitting on my incision site, 2) zippered front-closure so I can dress myself (or someone can more easily help me) 3) preferably adjustable, as the band size has to be larger than my actual size so I can fasten it in the early weeks after surgery (I can reduce the band size to my usual size as my range of motion increases), 4) a real bra, not just a lined cotton ‘sports bra’ (I wore some of these at the beginning out of necessity but I needed a real bra for when I left the house).

I purchased 4 different bras from a different online retailer and none of them could provide all of these features. I Googled “front-closure racerback zipper bra” and up came this bra from Knix. I ordered right away; I needed to size up for my purposes to make it easier to fasten but it’s perfect!! For shoulder surgery, I highly recommend this bra.

Fasten the band at the back a size or two larger than you would normally wear, adjust the shoulder straps a little looser than you would normally wear BEFORE putting the bra on. Using your good hand, Slide the bra on over your operated-on hand and up your arm until the straps are resting on your operated-on shoulder.

Use your good hand to adjust your breast into the cup, reach back and slide the straps from the other side of the bra up your good arm and onto your shoulder. The zipper takes some maneuvering at first, but by leaning forward slightly and arching your back forward slightly, you can use the good hand to bring the zipper together at the front and zip it up.

Takes a bit of practice but it works and you’re in a real bra! Comfortable, supportive and best of all, you can continue to wear it after your surgery because it will take a long time to be able to wear a bra with regular on-shoulder straps.

I came here to compliment how top notch my customer service has been with Knix! The first bra I ordered was too large for me and I was quickly sent out a replacement in a smaller size. That bra fit but seemed to roll at the band so I quickly jumped on to chat with an expert and they assured me after the wash and wear process the rolling would subside but we could revisit if that’s not the case.

I ended up having a tear in the bra after a few wears (no washes yet) The customer service experience was once again handled so well and professional. Steph was so responsive to my emails and questions and offered so many suggestions to me as well as either a refund, store credit or replacement bra.

I opted for the replacement bra so that should be arriving soon. The bra itself: material seems like it’s made very well, although my experience with the tear was hopefully a fluke. The bra is comfortable so I was definitely willing to try it out again.

It fits snug at first but after wearing it it does begin to fit better. I wasn’t able to finish the wash and wear process but will do it for my replacement. Steph even offered an alternative bra that may be better suited for me if this replacement isn’t a great fit for me.

I love that this company stands behind their products and truly tries to help you find the perfect bra and fit! Because of that I’ll be ordering again in the future. I know my review was mainly geared towards my customer service experience but I felt it was necessary because of how well I was treated.

I used to always get my bras from Figleaves – they were literally the only everyday wear bra I could get that fit right. They went out of business and my bra just ate the dust, so I decided to give Knix a try.

I’ve probably ordered 20 “everyday” bras in the last 3 years that never came close to fitting right, so I wasn’t hopeful. (And having no underwire scares me. ) But this bra has great support so far! I’ve only tried it on – haven’t washed it or worn it more than once to see if it holds up, but it feels sturdy.

There’s not as much lift & separation as normal underwire bras, but it’s still far better than I anticipated and will be totally fine for everyday wear. Update: this bra isn’t bad, but isn’t great. Just okay for me personally.

I’ve washed it once according to the instructions, and worn it probably 6-7 days. The band felt a little tight on the loosest setting on the 1st couple days, but suddenly started stretching to where I’m now on the next to tightest setting or else the band starts riding up my back and there’s very little support.

This bra is very comfortable, but is still a typical wireless bra – not a lot of shape, folding over on top of the band, and gives a uniboob unless you go in and readjust the girls every 15 minutes or so.

Still wear this bra a lot because it’s comfy and generally supportive, but if you’re a bigger cup size like me, don’t expect the support and shape of a wired bra.

For reference: I am measured at 34C bra size and I’d say my girls are definitely not twins – one would be a B cup and the other would be a AAA. The actual quality of construction, I would say, is super solid – soft yet strong fabric, awesome hooks, and a foam lining, not padding.

Having the centre meet as a V is also a plus, especially for my girl who is not remotely full. Gaping on a bra is not the look we were going for. The straps are definitely a step up from my average bra but they definitely still slip off my shoulders but not all the way to my elbow.

The lack of underwire is noticeable as it doesn’t appear to have that cut-in feeling as much. I suspect that this bra is actually amazing for those who love it. Because my girls are shallow in shape, one does ok and the other not so much.

I have a wide back and shoulders and tend to put weight on directly onto my back and front of the mum tum. The underarm fat I’ve got going was quite accentuated by the WingWoman – I was doing fine without its help.

I gave it about 5 wears; yes 5 because I wasn’t convinced on the “love at first try” option. I am definitely not thrilled with the look sans clothing; its as if it squeezes my squishy bits out of everywhere! So, I’m definitely speaking to the fact that buying online is a huge and expensive risk.

It will stay in my rotation of foundational items for at least a year because it was a decent chuck of change, even on sale. When I’m dressed in most outfits, it does “the job” with a sufficient amount of comfort.

With items like t-shirts and sweaters, it works but with anything like a camisole or tank top, its not ideal. I would only recommend this to someone who usually wears this particular shape of bra already.

I’m always worried about the sizing of sports bras, most reviews are filled with people telling you to size up or down. This sports bra is honestly perfect! Its true to size and it’s comfortable and secure.

No need for constant adjustment during your workout, this is the perfect bra! Highly recommend. 10/10! ❤️❤️❤️.

The bra is very cute and comfortable. However, I do have some naturally big girls for my size, and I wouldn’t recommend wearing for any kind of cardio where you may be jumping up and down, haha. Definitely works for a session of lifting some weights, looking cute while doing it! When you wash it the little cup pads fold up and you have to fish around to get them to lay flat again.

Not in love with this sports bra. I sized up (I’m a 10-12, 34D) and bought a large but it’s still too small. Worth noting that my shoulders and back are quite broad, so for someone more petite, this would probably be perfect.

I found the essentials bra was great for me – more longline, this one cuts me up a bit and feels restrictive. I’d say definitely size up at least by one, if not two sizes.

The Twin Cross Plunge bra met my expectations – it is comfortable and provides nice support without an uncomfortable underwire. I’ve struggled to find a wireless bra that fits well and ensures a lifted sillhouette, but this one does the trick.

I immediately ordered two more!.

the material is very comfortable and feels great. I give 4 starts because the shape of the cup does not match my breast perfectly, but it is still very comfortable.

The only bra I’ve found in years that combine both comfort and a flattering shape. Highly recommend!
