20 Best Wide Width Sandals (2022 Updated)

I LOVE these! My feet are wide so I was pleased that these came in wide sizes. Super cute, comfortable, and seem to fit true to size for the wide option! Only reason I didn’t give 5/5 is because one of the sandals makes a “whoosh” sound (kinda like air decompressing like there’s a hole somewhere) when I walk lol.

I’ll be getting another pair when these are worn out!.

Just bought these a week ago. Took a chance , I usually wear a 9. 5W but I tried the 10M. These shoes are so comfortable. They have. a platform with a comfy insert as a footbed so easy to wear for hours.

And the price is fantastic. First use but I think they are winners.

UNLESS YOU HAVE EXCEPTIONALLY WIDE FEET, DO NOT PURCHASE THESE IN A WIDE WIDTH. THEY ARE EXTREMELY SLOPPY ON AND FOR ME NOW USELESS. I HAVE PURCHASED WIDE WIDTH IN THE PAST AND THESE WERE TO THE EXTREME.

The design of the shoes is beautiful. The construction is not. There were clear nylon threads sticking out in a few spots on the straps that I had to cut or else they would have been stabbing me with every step, there was a little speck of glue stuck to the inside arch of the shoe that needed to be cut out or else it would have been like stepping on a tiny pebble every time I moved, the elastic on the buckle wasn’t long enough, so putting these on by elevating my foot was impossible, and worst of all the material on the toe of the shoe bubbled up underneath each step, making a horrid fart sound every time I put pressure on it—only 4 hours into my first time wearing them.

I have no idea what caused this last issue, my guess can only be structural/improper gluing of the lining to the shoe itself. I had planned to wear these for Easter, but I had to return them and couldn’t get a replacement pair in time.

I am so disappointed.

Bought these beauties for a wedding. Sparkly with solid small heel. Wore them brand new to a wedding. Danced for over an hour. NO PAIN! The footpad cushions don’t look very cushy, but they are! Wide foot, narrow heel, high big toes and a bunion.

I had my doubts since the strap goes right over the bunion. And the next day my feet STILL feel good. Need to get another color.

I needed a pair of silvery shoes for a wedding, and though the color is labeled black, it’s a silvery black. Normally I wear a size 9 W, but I was in the store and there were no wides. A 9 M fit well, was comfortable, and these look prettier on than in the picture.

Very happy with this purchase. I’ve had to give up high heels, so these heels gave a lift but were sturdy.

I have collapsing arches and now refuse to buy shoes that don’t have proper arch support. I had two weddings to go to, as well as other wedding-related events and got this one pair of shoes for all of them.

They not only match everything I could think to wear but are extremely comfortable and have arch support?!?? something I never thought I’d find in a heel. They are expensive – I had originally gotten a cheaper version from Naturalizer but they didn’t come in in time so had to rush order these- wouldn’t have been my first choice due to the price but I’m happy none the less.

I wore them to all the events in a row without breaking them in and found them to be perfectly comfortable. Everyone else was taking off their heels after a few hours and I was able to keep mine on to keep dancing into the early morning.

Will be wearing again. PS: I have narrow feet and these fit well.

I have very narrow feet and have a hard time finding stylish shoes that come in narrow widths. I was very happy when I found this shoe. My normal size is 8S in a dress shoe. Sadly, this shoe has N’s but not S’s, so I took a chance with an 8N.

It was not narrow enough and also ran a bit long. So, I reordered the shoe in a 7 1/2 N. Luckily, because it’s a sandal, the length was ok and going down a half a size made a big difference in the width.

I bought it for a wedding in July (have to plan ahead when you have narrow feet!). Whether I wear them to the wedding or not, I’ll keep the shoes. They are very comfortable and versatile and hard to find.

The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I think manufactures and stores should carry shoes in more narrow sizes such as S(slim) and SS(extra slim). Those widths used to be available in stylish shoes.

I would recommend these shoes and if you have S width give them a try in a half size down.

I purchased this shoe in nude for a Spring bridal shower. I have to say this shoe is very comfortable. It runs true to size though the front strap runs narrow. It’s a little tight for your first few wears.

The leather strap breaks in well and loosens up. I recommend ordering a wide if the are of your foot (where the strap sits) is wide. The shoe has great arch support and the foot bed is very cushiony.

The heel is a great height making it very easy to walk table without feeling wobbly. I received many compliments on this shoe. It’s both sexy & comfortable. I was able to stand the entire shower without wanting to kick my shoes off.

I bought the sand/champagne color in my normal size 9. 5 medium. My foot is on the narrow side of medium and after tightening the one point of adjustability on the sandal, they were comfortable enough to wear all day – the first day that I tried them.

In the graph above it would not let me indicate that the width was perfect in the medium width. I love the material that covers the foot bed. It is not slippery and almost seems to grip the foot. The shoes feel very secure on my foot with plenty of cushioning.

The color is neutral so they work with any clothes. My only complaint is that they look like “old lady” shoes. I am eighty and just wish shoe manufacturers could make attractive “comfort” sandals. I opted to keep them because of the comfort.

Clarks changes this sandal a little each year, and the two previous versions I purchased were so comfortable that I could wear them on long walks instead of tennis shoes. The retail shoe didn’t have my size this time, so they ordered it for me and had it shipped to my house.

Unfortunately, they arrived, I put them on, and left home to run errands. In about 15 minutes, my ankles were hurting so much, I thought I’d have to go home without finishing. Adjusting the straps did not help.

I think the issue is the placement of the first strap, the strap closest to your ankle (not your toes). I’m so disappointed because they have been my favorite comfortable walking sandal for several years.

This current model just doesn’t fit right, at least not for me.

These sandals are made of a soft leather from the straps to where you put your foot. There is nothing jaggy under the straps, just a soft material against your foot. They have a cute design on the straps with a non functioning button on the top strap.

Each strap can be adjusted by using the velcro. I wish all shoes could be adjusted this way! There is a slight cushioning inside, but I was hoping for more. The bottom has a horizontal and wavy tread pattern to help with slipping.

I wore these shoes a few times in the last few weeks, during my 8 hour workday. I stand for most of the day in an office setting. I was disappointed that after about 4 hours my feet were getting sore.

Now I usually always wear a size 10, even though I’m a 9 1/2, because if I can even find a 9 1/2 they don’t fit right. These did, but I’m wondering if I needed a wider width. I have flat feet, so where my feet were hurting was right on the side of where my arch should be.

I think they were hitting the harder outside edge of the shoe. Is this going to stop me from wearing these shoes? No! I will look to see if they make a wider width for when I’m in the market for these types of shoes in the future, and I will definitely look at this brand.

Other than wishing there was more cushioning and maybe needing a wider width, I thought the shoes were very well made, soft and stylish. I was even impressed with the box they came in which told you that the box was made from 100 % recycled paper, 100% recyclable and had 100% water based inks.

I’ve never noticed this on any other box before, so I believe this company is truly making an effort for our planet. I will be looking at other styles from this brand in the future, because I was impressed with how well made the shoe was and the details.

From the design to the stitching everything was made for a purpose and you can tell that they take shoe making serious. From the soft material used to the functioning adjustable straps. They weren’t just for show, but actually a useful part of the sandal!.

I have notoriously difficult to fit feet — very wide and very flat. These shoes’ multiple points of adjustment meant that my shoes fit perfectly out of the box. Every conceivable place on the shoes is adjustable (and some I didn’t know you could make adjustable!).

Even with my flat feet I found them very comfortable, but they also sent supportive arch enhancements for those who need them. A+! My only complaint is that they didn’t have them in the lighter color, or I’d have ordered another pair.

Although I have given these sandals 3 stars, I do think that they are very well made. I am rating them on how well they fit me. The strap across the widest part of my foot fits well and is comfortable.

It does not feel or look too wide. The heel area is too wide for me and my feet slide forward. I cannot make the back of the shoe any snugger because there is not enough Velcro. The arch supports then are not in the best place for my feet because of my feet sliding forward.

I would still recommend these shoes. They are comfortable overall. I personally cannot wear them to walk long distances. because of my foot sliding forward.

I have RA, so the joints in my feet need extra room, and my arches need extra support. I didn’t realize when I ordered my first pair that my feet had become significantly wider, so I had to return the first pair for wider ones- the return was super easy with the included pre-paid label, and I received my new pair within two weeks.

These sandals come with customizable soles, so I was able to get the best fit for my feet. I’ve worn them almost every day for the past two months, and they are still comfortable. I appreciate the soft, flexible material on the backside of the straps, which also allow you to customize the fit of the sandal; they are also easy on and off, which I appreciate with RA.

The most comfortable heels I’ve ever worn and they don’t look ugly or chunky at all. The sole is very comfortable without being overly padded. The heel is thick enough to be stable but not clunky like some shoes.

The platform isn’t excessive either and the strap holds your foot in place without visually shortening the leg. I have the black shoe and it looks really good with dark red polish on the toes. They’re not “baddie” shoes but they’re very versatile and I will keep them for years if they hold up well.

Honestly I do not write review at all. But this one is making me to write and let the viewers know about this sandal. When I was searching for a perfect pair of sandals to go with any dress but LIGHTWEIGHT, no one had written about it.

They did mention good fit, looks, etc. But let me share, must buy these. These are so lightweight, arc support and most importantly goes with every dress, skirt, or pant. Arch supports to wear it the entire day with no pain.

This is always going to be on my list.

I got this style in tan/beige and I love them. I can’t take wearing high heels because they make my feet hurt and I don’t want to be miserable. But I needed to wear heels to a dressy wedding and these were perfect.

They slip on nicely, don’t squeeze my toe area and they are slightly padded on the footbed. Additionally, they flex a bit and the heel is the perfect height, not causing foot to awkwardly arch. Dress up or down too and I also got a pair in sparkly silver.

My 85 year old mother wears 8 narrow and has issues with her feet and balance overall. This style with adjustable straps is typically the best for her because she can easily adjust the fit. Instead of getting more comfortable after a few wears the shoes became increasingly uncomfortable.

The strange bar that sits under the toes/ top of the foot bed put her in a lot of pain – exactly what she didn’t need. Unfortunately she didn’t wear often enough immediately after the purchase and by the time she discovered the severity of the problem it was past the return date.

Very Disappointed.

It has been a long time since I purchased Easy Spirit shoes so perhaps I found these to be less comfortable than I had remembered them. The sandals look great and the straps adjust easily. However, the soles are thin and I would prefer more padding under my feet.

I will be wearing them only if I do not expect to be walking long distances or standing for any length of time.

I bought these sandals to replace a silver pair whose wedge heels crumbled. This time I avoided the wedge. The adjustable straps over the toe and the instep and behind the heel and the availability of wide widths make these sandals easy to conform to your feet as they are; you could even adjust right and left foot differently from one another.

Although the pewter color is darker than the silver I was replacing, they will go well with all the colors I wear. The basic style of this footwear should make them look appropriate for several years to come.

I absolutely love them! Not too high of a heel. They’re very comfortable! I even did some dancing in them by myself ?? to see how they would feel on the dance floor—still comfortable. I love the convenience of the easy zipper at the back too! I now have them in the Salmon Rose and White and would like to get the other two colors when they restock in November.

I have flat arches and wide feet, which makes me shy away from sandals (especially sandals with heels). But I took a chance on this one. It is so comfortable and it fits perfectly. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful shoe. Very comfortable. I love the color (pink). They match perfectly with my dress I wore to work. I received many compliments on the style of them.

I ordered both the white and natural (beige) sandals. The white seems more like a bone color, but I still kept them. The fit is wonderful. I’m embarrassed to admit that I have a bunion on my right foot, but I mention it because the strap that goes across the foot fits just above my bunion and fits very comfortably.

I was so relieved and I love these shoes. The heel is not too high, so the sandal is very comfortable to walk on. The look is classy and beautiful. I’m planning to wear these on our next cruise. Love these sandals!.

I’m really disappointed in this sandal. I wanted a dressy sandal for work and ordered this one in a WW – double wide. It was still too tight and very uncomfortable. I usually wear a wide width and thought the double width would add a bit more comfort because I’m on my feet a lot all day and it didn’t.

I ordered a regular 22/24. It fit great. The length was just right. Several compliments.

I bought these shoes to wear to my son’s wedding. I usually have to break shoes in and I forgot to do it before the big day. I put them on just before the wedding and wore them all night. They are very comfortable shoes and my feet were never once tired or sore.

I was able to walk, dance walk up stairs from 4:00-midnight and never once did I feel I needed to take the shoes off. I have wide feet and these shoes where not only super comfortable but nice looking as well.

My feet are terribly hard to fit. I was extremely surprised at how well this “make and model” of sandal/shoe fit! I really want more of these sandals in more colors! Please make more! I have the red ones and will be buying the silver ones, but I need black, champagne and blue for myself.

Very pretty! Comfortable for a while! I never wear heels, but my dress needed them! Therefore my calves were sore after wearing them! My feet looked pretty though!!

SO cute and comfy. They definitely feel higher end. I typically order a size 7. 5, but sometimes size up to an 8 in sandals (Tory Burch miller sandals for example). I only order a size 7 in shoes that run big (Dr Martens, Uggs, Converse, etc).

Other reviews said to size down and I was skeptical but SO glad that I did. If you’re in between sizes, definitely size down! As far as the width, I think it’s perfect. So unless you have REALLY wide feet and 99% of regular shoes are uncomfortable for you, order the normal width.

Overall, such great shoes for the price and now I want them in more colors!.

I bought this in my normal size 9 but I noticed I had to much room left at the front, ordered an 8 and it was fine on the right foot but the braided strap on the left sandal was super tight. I went to Walmart to see if I could find a pair that was comfortable on both feet and I found them.

So, long story short the braided strap on some of these sandals are more narrow than on others. I ended up sizing down to an 8, I wore them today and I can say they are comfortable but in my opinion run 1 size big.

I wore them to work for the first time the other day. I work in a retail setting. After 4hrs of wearing one of the straps broke and the lining under my foot came completely off. I had ordered a wide, and the wide was extra roomy so that’s not why it broke.

Very disappointed as these are supposed to be a good quality brand.

I decided to try these in a brown. Wearing flip flops all the time was starting to hurt because there isn’t much between you and the ground. When I first received them, I thought, no way, the soles are so hard.

But the more I wear them the better they feel. These are so much more comfortable than I thought they would be. I love wearing them. Give them a try!.

Cute design, but I was surprised that these ran small length-wise but bigger width-wise, since their price seems to suggest maybe a higher quality product. Therefore, my heel is making the “cork” on the back smush down a little on the edge.

Instead for the price, you get a lot of “virtue-signaling” literature included in the packaging. (eye roll).

The bottom on the inside of the shoe comes a loose with in 2to 3 wears. Really, not satisfied with the quality of these shoes. I have other shoes from here and I thought it was something I was doing.

So I payed close attention. I had these shoes for only 8 days.

These arrived yesterday. I have a very small, wide foot and can no longer find shoes in stores in my size. I purchased a 5 wide. Not only do they fit, but they are incredibly comfortable, soft, and (drum roll.

) pretty! My fat little foot is attractive in them, and I love the style! Usually shoes in my size are geriatric looking. I love them so much, I’m getting them in a 2nd color!.

I have these in wide and loved them but after wearing them in they are to big… I ordered a regular I hopes that they would fit better however they are way to narrow… I really loved my other ones I bought 2 of them! I’m sad that these didn’t work! However they were a great sander for me initially!.

Easy to put on with adjustable straps which are ideal for me or anyone with a wider foot yet also good for those with a standard fitting. Great underfoot and very cool and comfortable. I have worn mine over rough ground, paths and cobbles with no problems.

Good healthy materials used throughout the sandal plus no metal buckle.

They are very comfortable and good value for money

These are true to size & comfortable but with only one negative… the stripes on the foot bed don’t match up. So when looking down my left foot has all pink stripes & the right has some tan, black & green.

But I kept them due to being more noticeable for me looking down at them than others looking from a distance.

I LOVE these sandals! They fit perfectly and are very comfortable and can be worn causally or with a spring / summer dress. The color is exactly as pictured on the website. I would definitely purchase again different colors.

I needed to replace a pair of black sandals and these were perfect. A little on the pricey side for non-leather sandals, but they are quite comfortable and the straps hold them securely. Heel is perfect height too.

I had purchased a pair of these awhile back and LOVED them! So I thot I would be safe ordering another pair in a different color. I was wrong. The left side ankle strap was way too tight and the right side ankle strap was way too big.

Now I have to go through the process of sending them back at my expense and “hope” that the next ones for as they should or they even have them. AMAZON has it all over the Bear Paws people on that front.

Not sure I will re-order, but at least Bear Paws did contact me with the resolution process I need to go through in order to get them credited. This process and the lack of continuity are the reason for the 3 star rating.

The shoe’s straps are narrow enough to not overwhelm the foot particular if you are wearing a skirt/dress. They look very nice with all types of casual clothes including pencil skirts. The footbed is comfortable and the zipper works okay (better than most shoe zippers but still a bit sticky at times).

Be aware that the shoe runs large. I wear a 9. 5 medium and ordered a 10 based on the reviews. The size 10 is way too large and slightly wide because of the extra length. I suggest sizing down if you wear a half size.

I want to first say that I absolutely LOVE these sandals! I wore them 4 days straight (first time wearing them too) on a trip, in which I was on my feet almost all day. My feet were not sore, at least any more than what they’d normally be from walking all day.

I loved them so much I bought a second pair in the same color (brown). This is the part that pains me though; I have to deduct stars because of the ill-fit of the other color I got, the gun metal. Holy moly these ones are SUPER tight at the ankle! both the brown ones I got that fit perfectly at the ankle, so I’m confused as to why another color fights tighter (even tried the same color at a different store, same issue).

I don’t even have thick ankles either! unless you have really thin ankles, I suggest to only try the brown ones.

I took the advice of others and sized up in this. I’m typically a size 8. 5, I went with a 9 in these. I have narrow feet and felt that I am slipping out of them via the longer strap! And this will only get worse as it stretches when waking, I feel.

The toe strap is tight enough, but for me, the longer strap is a bit too long. Surprisingly…as I’m seeing reviews that it’s fitting tight! I took off 2 stars due to fit and not quite being true to size, but these are great sandals for the right person! They’re very cushiony! I so want to love these for myself!.

These are really cute but if you have wide feet I wouldn’t recommend them, not even sizing up. I’m typically a 7. 5 and size up because my feet are wide and not all 7. 5 sandals fit me because of it.

Even sizing up didn’t help, Meanwhile another pair of sandals I purchased fit me at my 7. 5 but they are cute and comfy. I did wear them around the house for a while to break them in and while they feel better on my feet unfortunately the aesthetic of it isn’t cute and if my feet just don’t look good in them I won’t wear them but they’ll make a nice gift for my sister :).

These sandals are so cute and comfortable! I find that they fit true to size. My only complaint, or fyi, is that I got two scuffs on the front of the sole of each shoe within one day. Like the border of the shoes sold has pretty thin material so it scuffs easily.

Kind of a bummer and I find that Target sandals are typically more durable, but thankfully the braid part has held up well so far.

I have purchased Landsend closed toe sandals for the past 4 years. Up until this year, their comfort & quality were second to none. This year’s version is not like the prior versions. The bed of the sandal is much cheaper and not comfortable at all.

There’s a cloth upper that is stiff and uncomfortable (last year’s didn’t have this feature). So uncomfortable. I bought them in 2 different sizes, (I’m 7. 5 but they don’t do half sizes in this style).

Neither of them fit. It looks like they changed the shoe completely.

I am usually very happy with my purchases from LandsEnd. These sandals are nothing like a pair I purchased few years ago which I love. There is little to no arch support. I wear a size 7 but these sandals make my feet appear much larger.

It also took several attempts to adjust the elastic cord to get them to fit and add support. They run wide. The straps seem to be oversized and unflattering which make them look clunky. If I paid full price, I would have returned them.

I bought 4 pair of these last year and loved them. They were honestly all that I wore bc they were sturdy, cute and had good arch support. These shoes are very different. The ankle strap feels too low and slides no matter how much I tighten it.

There is also a flap that covers top of foot, but isnt connected to side of shoe. The shoe does not feel stable on. I bought 3 and will be returning them. Land’s End, please restock the prior version if this shoe.

This new Ryka footbed is not for me. Sandal is super cute on the foot but I do not care for the new Ryka foot bed. The middle strap across the foot has an elastic piece on side that does not give enough support.

I like the old squishy foot bed on the Ryka sandals. This new foot bed makes my feet supinate which they already do naturally. The arch also does not fit in the right place for me. Toe loop is a little large but I expected that.

Wishing that QVC would do a free return policy like Amazon does or work with Amazon for their products. (Such as doing a free return at Kohls etc) Like many other customers I don’t like the $8 return fee.

QVC please consider doing better on your returns. These are going back.

I usually only buy orthopedic sandals because they are so cute now, and then I get that benefit. But, these looked interesting to me and were on sale. So, I bought them. They are the MOST comfortable sandal I’ve ever had, right out of the box.

I love my other ortho sandals, and will continue to wear them, but these are so comfortable and cute. I think I could (wouldn’t though) hike in them. Wish I had these when I was walking the San Antonio River walk.

These are sooooo comfortable, and are very stylish. In fact I’m so impressed that I just ordered another pair. And I would have order (2) more if the color selection had more to choose from. It’s like walking on air.

And I’ll not a light weight person, so comfort is essential and this shoe checks all the boxes. I highly recommend it.
