17 Best Wideband O2 Sensor (2022 Updated)

Easy to read. Easy to wire up. Welding the O2 bung requires the ability to weld or bring to a muffler shop. Analog data transfer works well and is very quick. Can’t comment on the longevity of it since it’s only been installed 2 weeks.

Bought this because of the popularity of the AEM product. Have not installed the gauge in my vehicle. I will try to re-review after installation The old sensor in my truck was bad, so bought a new sensor from OReillys and I recommend buying the gauge locally incase you have issues with it; you can get it warrantied.

Already had this installed, but needed a new one because the old one I had one of the LED’s went out. This one compared to the old AEM one was a lot better. So must have been an updated version of the one I had.

I bought the a/f gauge a month ago , and it looks and works great. It was very easy install , good instructions. I am very happy, and it compliments my factory Mazdaspeed Miata gauges well. I mounted it in my glove box with an Autometer boost gauge , and will be adding water temp, and oil pressure.

It looks great when I open the glove box at night. It makes a nice addition to my car. Thanks.

all around good gauge but I had problem with instillation since brand new wiring was defected so had to reinstall all new wiring. Summit racing sent me replacement right away whole kit, since we thought it was sensor or gauge.

After removing old wiring and reinstall it all start working.

While this meter does what it claims to do, which is provide a wide band of AF feedback, the meter updates very slowly. If I had to guess, I would say that the update rate is approximately 2 Hz or twice a second.

This might sound fast to some, but it is not acceptable for trying to find tip-in enrichment stumbles or other fuel transient issues. Additionally, it would be nice if the meter had some sort of “MAX” or “MIN” display instead of just freezing at 10.

0 and 17. 0 Again, this meter does what it’s advertised to do but it’s not a very diagnostic tool during tuning.

how to set up a carb! This A/F ratio (wideband) gauge is just the ticket. So often people slap a carb on a car and start guessing what jets to change and how much by reading the spark plugs. (I’ve done it often) The problem is that you really don’t know how the idle circuit is working, and the primaries, and the secondaries.

Well you can pretty much read your plugs for cruising, but with today’s gasoline it takes a long time to get any color on them. And the secondaries are just a shot in the dark unless you drive your car for 100 miles at WOT then read the plugs.

Maybe on the Autobahn? A meter like this is the only real way to know what your a/f ratio is at all different times. It’s quick, I’m not sure but I think it samples 20 times a second? The only thing I didn’t like was the stainless steel bung to weld to your exhaust.

I mean how many people have stainless steel exhaust AND the ability to weld it? I had an old, not sure what it’s called, a plug non fouler? I cut about half of it off and welded that to the headers. Other than that it’s great! And you only need one.

It can be removed and installed another vehicle, even comes with a plug to install if you remove the oxygen sensor. One more thing I thought of, the led gauge type lights are a must, unless one has a real mechanical gauge.

There are lots of times when the digital readout changes too fast to read, so the leds give you a darn good indicator were you are at at all times.

It works. Quickly helped me correct the dangerously lean condition on my race motor. I wonder how long the probe will work with leaded race fuel.

I purchased this for my Subaru STI. The reading it was giving was not as accurate as other Air/fuel gauges I have owned in the past. Also the led indicator lights were very bright and distracting. I went with the AEM wideband gauge because I have had very good experiences in the past.

Other Autometer gauges are great, just not a fan of this one.

Sensor came with anti seize applied and with ties. It is a perfect fit to my 2001. 5 Passat GLS 1. 8T. Removing old one was not hard as I used a joint socket with O2 sensor socket and I didn’t need to remove air box.

CEL is gone and car runs smoother and quieter now.

This sensor. was recommended by my mechanic instead of the OEM one, mainly because of cost. It was easy to install and came with anti seize lube already on the threads. There is alot of extra wire that I just tucked in the clip connector box.

This part I didn’t need persay got a coupon and had 20$ rewards made it super cheap why not! Plug was slightly different the oe but still works well easy install could use more anti seize but no biggy.

Replaced as part of a Transmission Swap. Factory units had over 300,000 miles. Time to replace. The new ones fit and seem to work.

The sensors dont last long with bigger cam and carb applications, prob because it burns little too rich. Maybe an on/off switch will help them. I dont know. I will be checking into warranty replacement.

I’ve ran this Gauge in my F150 for close to 10 years and it’s been a stud. The numbers are giving out so i’ll be replacing it, but i love it. Have had ZERO issues is close to a decade. Now THAT is quality.

This product is designed to monitor you air fuel mixture to prevent damage if it was to lean out or run rich. Autometer makes some of the best gauges on the block, I have purchased many over the years an will continue to do so.

Autometer makes some very durable and reliable products an the price does hurt the wallet like some of there competition. Hands done a 5 star product.

Purchased for an 03 Accord EX, 6cyl with code P2251 Sensor 1 Bank 1 oxygen sensor. Found a video on YouTube, and purchased this part from O’Reilly. Part was a perfect match and no more code.

On my 2005 Honda Pilot, this sensor is the first sensor right off of the exhaust manifold. NOTE: the plug has TWO release clips. You’ll need to unbolt the mounting bracket for the wiring harness in order to engage the second release clip.

That took me at least an hour to figure out.

This is a replacement O2 sensor for my AEM air/fuel ratio gauge and monitor, The other one works great, I just wanted a new one to double check the readings. My AEM A/F monitor has been great , I use it to calibrate carbs from motorcycles to hotrods to daily drivers.

Just drill the hole and weld in a bung and I`m ready to go. No more trying to read plugs with different kinds of gas. Power or economy, I can tune for that!.

If you keep burning through sensors this is the replacement sensor for your aem wideband. Don’t need to be calibrated they come calibrated already. You pay for what you get good quality!

I had been searching for this replacement O2 sensor for several months for my 2007 Mazda 3S, 2. 3L with the shock of high prices on other sites ($400+)!! The biggest challenge I found was that my car required a 5-wire upstream sensor, which of course, is the rarer & more expensive type.

I was VERY pleasantly surprised to find this part, and it’s reasonable price!! I did a live chat with a Advance Auto Parts customer service rep to confirm this was indeed the part I needed, and also asked if it could be returned/exchanged if it wasn’t the right part for my car.

I was provided with confidence that it was a safe purchase. I ordered it, received it within a few days, got it installed, & now my car is good to go! :).

I had a CEL code P0030, P0130, P0134, Bank 1 Sensor 1. Basically the code was for the air/fuel ratio (oxygen sensor) before the CAT converter. This O2 sensor was easily accessible from behind the engine.

This is the needed WIDE BAND O2 sensor (the more expensive one of course). It was a direct fit for the OEM from the car. My car had 150K+ miles. All you need is a O2 sensor socket and a rachet and you are done!.

Product fit in the upstream O2 sensor. Make sure you by a rethreader when you purchase the O2 sensor (mine took about 2 hours to get out; rent the tool to remove the old one, worth its weight in gold)

This gauge kit is fantastic. The gauge and sensor are very fast reacting. An altitude calibration can be performed at any time by removing the sensor from the exhaust bung and running the cal function in free air.

It can be used completely stand alone, if desired, or used with other modules or a computer for data collection/modifications. The gauge (with 2 bezel colour options ,*silver or black*, and 2 gauge face colour options, *white or black*, the Bosch wide band sensor, all neccessary cabling and a 1″ exhaust bung are included.

It does not ship with any sort of gauge holding panel but does have the rear clamp system to hold it in an external 2-1/16 gauge panel or your dash panel.

Good quality industry standard Wideband o2 sensor kit. Comes with bung, different faceplates and full instruction manual. Highly recommended. Easy to use and very accurate. Does require professional knowledge to wire, weld, and install the kit in place.

Also requires additional wiring and a relay kit for correct powering of unit, which isn’t supplied. Only comes with DB9 serial connector for computer connection, so an additional DB9 serial -> USB interface would be required for modern computers to adjust advanced settings and log data with the supplied software.

All in all, a great kit as long as you are an experienced mechanic or a seasoned enthusiast.

It’s works like it should for a short time and then slowly tapers off on accuracy. After a few months of use sensor doesn’t work anymore. This will be the third replacement for my innovate wideband. Also car spends majority of time in garage.

The sensor doesn’t last more than 3k miles in my experience.

Sure they will work fine once I change them. Been getting codes for sensor stuck rich, although the afr gauge hasn’t told me that. Ordered these for replacements for if/when the other ones fail. Morris, TX.

Took about a week for it to finally read correctly on my afr, for some weird reason. Recalibrated a few times but finally just decided to see if it would come around, and it did finally start reading right.

Purchased 2 of these Wide Band 3597 – gauge kits. Mounted the sensors with hardware provided in the collector on each side. Needed to have a starting point on the Air/Fuel on the 598-tunnel rammed setup in my Nova.

The Sport-Comp 2 5/8″ was a no brainer to match up with the other 2 5/8″ gauges in the Pro Street.

My new air/fuel ratio gauge has been a tremendous help with tuning my carburetor, and I would highly recommend one for anyone driving a non-efi vehicle. I have been able to dial in an ideal A/F ratio for all throttle positions; idle, tip-in, cruise, WOT.

The instructions were very clear, and it only took me about 45 minutes to install the supplied o2 sensor and gauge. My only suggestion is to make certain you have no exhaust leaks, as any leak will cause false readings.

Once all leaks were addressed, my gauge functioned very well. Great product, highly recommended.

I have multiple of these in different cars and they work great! I like the analog is easier to read than the digital ones and have always been right on.

Love Summit!!! The Blue display on the digital Innovate LC2 gauge looks so awesome! Unfortunately ,it mostly just flashed trouble codes. However ,when it did work it was only when my motor was dead cold and as long as you did not turn the ignition off it would read air/fuel Once you did turn the ignition off ,even if I let it cool for 3 -4 hours it would only just flash trouble codes to recalibrate.

I calibrated many times with no luck and it just kept flashing a trouble code to recalibrate. Eventually it did not even read any air /fuel at all. I hooked up the Innovate LC-2 kit new out out of the box.

I checked all wiring/grounds per instructions and they were all good. I even called tech at Innovate and they had no clue with my issue and they told me to send it to them ,even know it was new out of the box.

It really defeats the purpose of tuning a Holly 4150 with a wideband , if it does not read the air/fuel ratio. Very disappointed with the Innovate LC-2!!!!! Went with a Auto Meter analog air/fuel kit that requires no calibration.

Tried several other manufactures and sent them back. This Innovate kit came in a factory sealed box, is well made and includes a genuine Bosch wide band oxygen sensor. Gauge is simple and easy to read.

The included o2 bung is mild steel – just a note in the event your exhaust is stainless. Overall, it’s a great kit for the money and as always, Summit’s customer support is first rate.

Appears to be well made. Install was easy and straightforward. Haven’t hooked it up yet; waiting for bung to be welded into the collector pipe. But have used this same model in another car and it has been working well for many years.
