I am very happy with this Nest router. We upgraded from a different brand because the Wi-Fi would cut out or drop one of our devices. We own a small business and I need reliable wi-fi to keep us up and running 24-7.

I am happy with the sleek and compact design. This router takes up minimal space and still gives great coverage of up to 2,200 sqft. My wi-fi now reaches both floors of my home, as well as the basement and the garage.

Setup with this Nest Wi-Fi pro was very easy for us. Using the Google Home App I had it out of the box, updated, and in use in less than 15 minutes. We have noticed increased Wi-Fi speeds on both of our cellular devices, as well as our laptops, and smart tvs.

We are able to monitor all upload and download speeds. As well as monitor what devices are currently connected. The nest Wi-Fi pro is safe to use with excellent speed, and security. We are happy with the product and would recommend it to others.

This is my first mesh router, but I’ve been thinking about setting one up for a while and have done a fair amount of research. This is the first 6ghz router I’ve seen at this low of a price point. I don’t currently have any devices that support 6ghz, but you might as well plan for the future and get a router that supports the latest technology.

I have a 2 story house with the modem and router located on the 2nd floor. WiFi can be spotty in certain places on the first floor, which is my main reason for wanting a mesh system. If I had realized what a big difference it would make, I would have set one up a long time ago.

My WiFi speeds are now much faster and very consistent. No more spotty areas or lags! Plus, this is the best looking mesh system out there. It’s small and blends in with my decor and doesn’t look out of place at all.

I highly recommend moving to this mesh system.

I noticed a really good improvement with our internet by using this product. It wasn’t amazing, but it was really good! The directions say just one of these is needed per 2200 square feet, and our house is right about that size.

So this was the perfect fit for us! It was easier than I could even imagine to install! You just hook this up to the router, follow a few directions to set up a new network and you are on your way! I still cannot believe how incredibly easy the installation was! I do think that the difference is very noticeable.

My family and I are not getting kicked off the internet when upstairs like we frequently were. I can also notice the speed has definitely increased! We are very happy with this addition to our internet service! Super easy to install and you notice the difference within minutes!.

This is an enterprise grade AP and really flies! Beware though, you should be somewhat of a techie to set this up properly or at least have one on hand. This was a recert. unit and gave us some trouble in that the firmware was old and the prior set up was a little funky and was not at where we were going.

Ruckus has plenty of downloads available to supplement the somewhat sparse set up instructions. My techie has set up three of these (different locations) and all are working great.

It came professionally packaged in a ruckus box and worked beautifully. Everything has been very stable and reliable. Getting about 600 Mbps down from the next room over (on a 1 Gbps Cox connection).

2000 sq foot single story home with a 3 car garage and a front yard, I still get about 40 Mbps in the street in front of my house.

If you want good wifi coverage this is a good deal. Nothing like Ruckus AP. The ease of installation and the AP comes with the unleashed firmware so you don’t need a controller. I get 600-700 MB on wifi.

Works great! I wanted something that was affordable in a mesh router system. I have a 2000 plus sq ft octagon shaped home with lots of weird internal walls and 3 floors. I was using one wireless router previously that only provided about 2-10 mbps down to an office area.

The internet connection I pay for is advertised as 50 mbps down. I chose this particular product because it has a dedicated band for talking to each other AND each unit has an ethernet connection available.

Set up was easy with my mobile phone. My down speeds went to around 58 mbps after installing all 3 units. In my office, it didn’t seem to make much difference if my computer was plugged in directly to the ethernet jack or just communicated wirelessly.

However, my smart TV had some trouble keeping a good connection. My guess is that my Sony TV’s wifi components weren’t working well with the eero. Regardless, I then just put the upstairs eero nearby the TV, and plugged the TV into the eero with the ethernet jack.

Bingo, works like a charm. While this system was more expensive because of the ethernet, I feel it was great insurance for problem devices. I highly recommend this older, but more affordable system. The newest systems from Eero have more up to date tech (WiFi 6), but I didn’t need that yet, and didn’t want to pay a premium for it.

I think my wife likes the units because there are no visible antenna, and they seem to work equally well under things like chairs, or behind cabinets, to hide them. Having 3 units probably makes all the difference.

I might consider upgrading my internet speed now.

This product is so good at delivering on its promise we bought it for two properties. At home, even with signal boosters, we had dead zones, one of which was an extreme irritant. We brought in eero and the dead zones disappeared, replaced with strong, meshed Internet (and smiles) everywhere.

Up next was a three story, concrete-block-constructed town house. The internet feed comes in on the second floor. Again we had signal boosters in place, but trying to watch streaming tv on the first or third floors was hit or miss and mostly frustrating.

Eero entered, cable boxes exited, and streaming video is a pleasure to watch everywhere. New visitors don’t realize there ever was an issue, but repeat guests are so amazed at the difference we often find notes telling us how delighted they are with the Internet upgrade” even though the Internet feed itself is unchanged.

It’s pretty easy to tell how pleased we are. eero is awesome!.

I recently upgraded to the 2nd Generation EERO mesh network and when I did, I decided to hard wire them and they are even better when you do this. The mesh network without the hardwire is ok. I have 3300 sqft to cover and these do a pretty good job.

I have about 900Mbps on the wire and get around 550Mbps wirelessly. I had to upgrade to these as the previous generation was not compatible with the higher speeds. The EERO app is pretty good as it allows you to see what devices are on the network and gives the option to “pause” each device or even block from your network.

Once you figure out what is what, you can name each device, assign them a profile and set schedules. I find this option especially handy as I can set schedules to pause my kids’ devices at night. The pause is the best for getting their attention! If you have WiFi junkies in the house like I do, this is one way to have control over that addiction.

I was not particularly excited about the extra pay service EERO offers. They say you can block adult content on devices but don’t offer a way to block particular websites. So if the website or content is not labeled (which I don’t know how that is done) then it won’t get blocked.

Overall, I like these pucks and would recommend these for ultimate control of your WiFi network.

I would recommend these to anyone who has the AMPLIFI wireless mesh network devices. Check comparability with your product. Im using them with AMPLIFI 2 box instant network, these mesh points attached to the network no problems.

Good results, it greatly enhances the fidelity and coverage of the network.

This item works a lot better than the regular Wi-Fi range extenders. The way it was explained to me, was the regular ones, receives the signal and then only sends 50% of that signal out, and the meshpoint, receives the signal and sends out 100% of that signal.

My roommate uses Wi-Fi and is always trying to improve and nothing worked, very good. I got a Roku and could not get a good signal so I got this, and I am getting a much better signal, and my roommate is glad, he said it worked better now than any of the things he tried.

We only live 4 doors down the road from my elderly and vunerable parents-in-law. The arrival of coronavirus and the risks associated with elderly vunerable people meant that we were restricted to delivering shopping and only brief conversations on the doorstep.

Mum and Dad felt very scared, isolated and missed their community get togethers and church services on Sunday. Both of them felt much better when they hid away in their little summer house in the garden, which also has a small log burner, as the toing and froing of nature in the garden was/is a welcome distraction.

Mum & Dad have a basic (essential) knowledge of how their tablets work to keep in touch with friends and relatives, but were unable to use them for this purpose in the summer house as the Wifi signal didn’t reach any further than the back door of the house.

Hubs and I researched the best possible way of getting them connected in their haven of tranquility and as the summer house is situated at the end of a party wall with the property next door, but is in the vicinity of a small electric substation we decided that a hardwired option would probably be better so that there was no interference.

We purchased a 50m length of CAT 6E, put some RJ45’s on, disinfected everything and emailed through simple instructions onan easy and non-obtrusive route for the cable from the modem to the back door.

From that point on we could come fix the cable to the wall and into the summer house. Dad was ecstatic as this gave him something else to do other than dusting shelves for Mum and within a day he had the cable routed behind kitchen cabinets, by way of the plinths and out the back door.

In fact the task had so motivated him that he completed the whole cable run all the way down and into the summer house. Now that’s enthusiasm for an 80 year old. In the meantime the above TP-Link arrived and after having disinfected it on arrival I made a few sticky labels with the network password on it, slipped them into the box and then delivered it to my parents-in-law.

We expected them to get in touch with any problems/complications on setting up the device, but within 1/4 hr they were facetiming us from the summer house with big beaming smiles. The TP-Link has been their mental and well-being saviour.

Now they live stream their church service in their summer house and are able to live comment and interact with other members of the church congregation. Being in the summer house watching the natural evolution of spring and all the hope it brings they are much more contented which in turn makes us happy.

They facetime friends and family across the globe and as the signal is clear and strong they can even watch their favourite TV shows further down the garden next to the BBQ area. I make it sound like they live in a stately pile, but it could not be further from the truth.

Their garden is quite narrow (3 meters at the widest point) but very long and accessed along a narrow passageway no wider than 1. 25 meters). As my parents-in-law are so happy with the TP-Link we are looking at getting one for our Garden Office.

My only criticism of the device is that there is no hardwire plug in on the back. As I design websites I want the capacity while working at home to use both Wifi and hard wire. This allows me to check whether my sites are working fine in tablet mode as well as on my Mac.

Also as I design Visuals using Adobe After Effects I like to follow tutorials on special effects on the ipad at the same time as designing them. It’s not impossible to do everything via Wifi but I would have liked a belt and braces option especially in this price bracket.

That said, it has been a great option for my parents and their well being was the ultimate goal.

installed unit on ethernet cable which i had run to daughters bedroom because of poor signal from main router. signal is very strong and better in most of house than plusnet router. i would say even if you placed next to house router and connected with short ethernet cable you would see improvement in wi fi signal.

I bought this product last week, Firstly my comments are dependent on my expectations. First of all as I have 1Gb speed, my expectation was moving this speed to the first floor using a Wi-Fi repeater according to its limit.

I compared this product with other repeaters and started watching the price. I saw that it looks much better than the M4R model and the WiFi speed is faster(400Mb) at 2. 4GHz. And it is stated that it gives around 800mb at 5GHz.

So far so good, I set the first deco M5 successfully, the device boxed very well and the interface for setup was clear and easy. Also it has a nice design and you could mount it to the wall. Quickly I tested the setup for its raw speed, as this one has this future in the application.

So I saw that it was around 1GB. Wifi speed was around 500Mbps which is good. But It is the same speed with the modem, which is something I expected, But for the first floor second deco didn’t give the same speed, it was around max 100-150Mbps.

That part was really disappointing for me. But the signal level was quite fine. So, if you are looking for a nice design, full coverage LOW SPEED wifi speed this could be for you. Also I tested with an older version of deco which is M4.

The speed was much better and it is almost the same that I got from the main deco. Annoying part is, M5 looks like it is better signal value then M4, please check it: https://www. tp-link. com/nl/compare/?typeId=5700&productIds=40375%2C40542 but the performance is less than M4.

This is misleading the people.

This system has exceeded my expectations. I recently switched ISPs and noticed immediately that the modem/router combo my new ISP provided wasn’t great. I was getting close to the 100mbps I pay for while in the same room as my router, but upstairs on the opposite end of my 1400sq/ft home, I was getting less than half that and even experienced drops.

I decided to purchase this 3-pack after a bit of research and I’m glad I did. I’m now getting consistent, reliable internet across my entire home. I’m getting more than what I pay for now; my download speeds are now 115-199mbps on wireless – anywhere in my home.

It even fixed some connectivity issues I was having with my gaming PC (has a TP-link PCI-e wireless card in it, which seems to play nicer with this system). The app – while probably too simple for more advance users who run their own servers etc.

– it’s perfect for our family’s use. We have approximately 24 devices on our network (laptop, desktop, tablets, phones, smart speakers, lights, thermostats, game consoles), many use 2. 4ghz Wi-Fi and many use 5ghz.

There were no issues connecting any of our devices. It’s now crystal clear what each device is in the app, because I took the time to label each of them as I connected them. The optimization feature in the app works great as well.

We have a lot of neighbours nearby, and one tap sets you up on the least congested Wi-Fi bands. Overall I think this is a great product for most families. If you need to do super advanced networking, it may not be for you.

But if you’re looking for no-BS, hassle-free, reliable Wi-Fi. look no further.

This works so much better than my old, previously, high end router. I had one of the ones with three external antennas, so I assumed that coverage of a single Deco M5 unit would be inferior (but overall better due to the mesh capability).

I was very surprised to find that from the same location (in a closet), the Deco blew away my old router. It actually covered my house fairly well with a single unit. However, out on the front porch and down the steps, it still struggled.

I then added one of the remote units to my living room, near the front window. Now my porch, the steps and the sidewalk below are flooded with wifi. I used to have a problem when getting into my car, where maps or music wouldn’t load, as my phone was still trying to use my wifi.

I’d have to either switch it off or drive a block to get it to give up. Now it just works, so it took away that minor irritation. I had been planning to use wired backhaul for the remote, but I ended up placing it somewhere I didn’t have ethernet.

After testing and finding that I’m easily getting 50-60 mbps in some of our previous dead zones, I don’t see any need to run a new cable. The system seems smart enough to keep everyone on the main router, and only a couple of periphery, low-bandwidth devices are using the remote unit.

Lastly, I was very happy to find that these use only 4W per my kill-a-watt. Two of these are using slightly less power than my old Asus router.

My satellite TV provider’s rates had increased so that I had to look for other options. I had a weak wiFi signal and no other option for a internet provider. So, I knew I had to have a stronger signal to enjoy streaming TV.

I installed the Mesh and my signal immediately grew stronger. My picture is clearer and I have a faster connection. I am now enjoying streaming TV at more than 1/2 half the monthly cost. My only problem, I can’t connect with the smart TV downstairs.

I have 5 TVs upstairs and they all work beautifully. Mesh customer service has worked very hard with me, but it just can’t connect. I think it has something to do with my service being 5G and the TV downstairs needs 2G or something like that.

I may have to get another TV.

This router has strong signal to cover my 2000 square feet house. It has 3 parts to be installed. I put first part in living room connected with my internet modem. Second part in my bedroom and third part in bathroom area.

It covers my whole house with strong signal. Very nice.

Since I moved the home PC through into an extension I have had poor signal reception largely due to 20″ solid stone walls that my house is built from. So I decided to invest in a mesh network rather than wifi extenders having done some research on which is/seems to to be the better solution.

I then set about looking for something cost effective and found this NOVA MW3 network which is significantly cheaper than most – I also opted for a UK product with 3 pin power adapters rather that mess around with converters – it looks better but did cost a bit more or rather the non UK versions were a little cheaper so it’s your call.

I was going to give this only 4 stars but because of the price performance elected to give it 5. Quite simply is does what is says on the tin. Since installation which took all of 15 minutes to do and configure – opening the pack took longer !! – I have significant improvement on the speed of my PC connection to the web.

It’s back to being almost instant. So this system does work. Set is is sooooooo easy. but you do need a smart phone or tablet to download the Tenda configuration app to. So presuming you have one, it dead simple.

The app also lets you name/rename your devices. If one box fails you simply reconfigure your network with 2 and carry on. Additional units can also be configured if you need more. So it is modular in design which I am sure others are too but at least you now know this is.

So a bit about setup. You connect the primary unit to your hub/router (in my case a BT home hub) by way of the included Ethernet cable. Switch it on and hey presto. Place the other units around you building and switch them on and they auto connect with each other.

So now you have two wireless networks you original in my case BT network and overlayed on top of that is your NOVA network which is then connected to the web via the Ethernet cable. So you can connect your devices to either to access the web but as you have bought a mesh network you’ll no doubt be using that especially in dead spots around your building.

Using the app you can then change the name and password access of your NOVA system – sensible idea – and name the units which appear on the network plan shown in the app. So all in all this has been a great cost effective investment and I would recommend this mesh network 100%.

We needed something simple and neat to help with a couple of dead/slow spots, this plugged straight into my broadband providers router, which we were then able to tuck out of site (this is far nicer looking), then plugged in the second one upstairs in the office, not only did the speed upstairs and slow spot disappear, we have faster speeds downstairs.

Easy set up, only one hitch was working out how to turn off both the 2. 4ghz and 5 ghz on my router (hint, log in and do them both before you add the mesh system). Been running for just over a week, once we connected all the wireless items we have found improvements virtually everywhere, netflix seems quicker, skype in the kitchen no longer stutters and the office has less swearing.

If you need gigabyte speeds you will need to spend more, but for those of us on superfast 72mb broadband, this is superb.

Pros: This was bought to solve the issue of inconsistent WiFi across our house. We had an extension built two decades ago and had problems getting the WiFi across the cavity wall into the office. We had tried using a ring main booster and a second router with limited success.

These boxes have eradicated the issue. I don’t know how they get through the cavity wall, but they do! We get the same top speeds across the whole house now. Also, we have no issues with our gaming son sucking the system dry.

He has reported some packet loss in gaming, but I’m told this is variable and may be due to the distance from the server. I’m going to upgrade the cable from the wall socket to the modem to a twisted, shielded CAT6 one to eliminate any interference causing problems there (our WiFi was so dodgy before that we probably couldn’t see these issues!).

The system was super easy to set up (scan the qr code to get the app, plug in the boxes and orientate to get a green light). An additional benefit is the enhanced security of a customised password, guest network and basic parental controls! Fantastic product, especially given that our internet provider just recommended a new router and was going to charge £12 per month for it, with no guarantees of solving the problem.

Very happy customer. Cons: The box by the TV had to be moved to prevent interference with the TV picture. The parental controls are extremely basic (I can only turn one user off overnight really, when I would prefer to be able to set several periods of use/inactivity and different settings for different users) and easily circumvented by him cloning his computer! Also, oddly, there is no password on the app itself.

However, I guess that if you want these features you can always buy the Orbi system for six times the price!.

I bought 2 sets of 2 Multy X. The initial set-up was surprisingly simple and consisted of setting up the first device as “main” and then adding subsequent devices. My 3 “slave” devices have a connection with the “main” device via 1Gb/s Ethernet cable and cannot “see” each other.

The SSID is the same and now we have seamless secure WiFi from the cellar to the top floor and from the garden to the garage. The range is good and the WiFi speed excellent. The mobile app is simple to use and offers easy-to-use diagnostics.

It does not offer complex configuration options for network experts. I made a mistake with my network cable architecture which – as soon as I corrected it – allowed the Multy X Mesh system to deliver excellent stable performance.

Now between nodes I have more than 700 Mb/s and between internet and any node > 550 Mb/s. The LEDs can be turned off completely in normal use. Not cheap but highly recommended.

Pros: Bought while on a great deal, would score a lot lower at full price! Wanted to extend wifi range to the end of my garden and this has done that. Cons: While I can now get wifi at the end of the garden this drops out quite frequently; when connected the signal is strong so it seems to be an issue with the additional mini box rather than losing signal.

Main box hasn’t dropped once so if future firmware fixes the dropouts I’ll be happy.

Multy is one of the best mesh networking solutions out there. I only needed one additional router to cover problem areas in my home which it’s done perfectly. 2 people working from home and 2 students with online lessons and no complaints about signal.

I bought an 802. 11ac router in 2015. With multiple teenagers and PCs in the house, I sought to find good wifi adapters that worked. The USB adapters were always the cheapest, but they were flakey, repeatedly dropping connections.

They always seemed to get hot, and were not designed for heat dissipation. I could not find any brand scoring over 4. 2 in ratings. I concluded that USB dongles in a plastic case were always going to overheat, so I decided to go with internal PCIe with a good heatsink, because all of my PCs have good airflow.

As of my 3rd day of ownership, I have not had any dropped connections.

WiFi card barely functions. Pages load super slow if at all and Im quite certain its not my router. Also, I wish I could see some of the reviews of this product. All I see is the permanent (15) 5star reviews from unknown consumers.

Ill try to get it working in a proper manner but right now its been a frustrating experience. Also Im pretty sure the latest drivers are from 3 years ago, so this may be aged tech.

I used this part in my first computer build, and I was learning as I went. So I really don’t know much about what makes a good WiFi card and what doesn’t (as far as download/upload speed), but this one connected right away after I downloaded the driver software from the included CD.

It’s fast enough for watching videos and general internet surfing. I had no issues with either the brand or the component. I can recommend this part for general use, but I don’t know about gaming or heavy streaming of data.

I use a wireless N connection at my house, and the router is upstairs and the computer is downstairs with no issues.

I am using this device to manage a small mesh network of TP-Link Omada WAPs in a home network environment. I don’t have a full-time server to run the Omada Cloud Controller software, and didn’t want to run it off my workstation.

I considered building a Raspberry Pi to run it but this device was cheaper. Physically the device is small and metal, with rubber feet and screw holes for wall mounting. Install was a breeze, PoE means minimal cable mess.

A rackmount would be a nice touch if you wanted to nitpick, but otherwise this is great. Setup was also a breeze, the browser interface is refined, intuitive, and polished. The device needed to update firmware on both AP’s to adopt them but the through-network firmware upgrade system is slick as could be.

Since then it has been chooching right along, consuming almost no power, and doing its job flawlessly. Yes, this is wildly overkill in a home network application– clearly this is built to manage dozens and dozens of AP’s.

But I enjoy that aspect of this product, this thing is commercial-grade and it shows. TP-Link has really done a nice job of step[ping up to Ubiquiti’s level, offering similar if perhaps lighter-duty products at a much more reasonable price-point.

I am very happy with how this product is working for us. It took a while to get set up as I had to shift some Access Points (APs) over from a software-based controller and I had to upgrade some of my APs for them to be compatible with the new controller.

Now that it is set up, it is working great. I had problems migrating the APs so I just reset them, then adopted them in the hardware controller based network. Using this product helped me figure out some problems I was having with a few of my APs, I have mapped where the controllers are in the building so I can identify where one is quickly now if it is misbehaving, the APs seem to be working well as a mesh network (automatically picking up the common SSID and password when they join the network), and updates are now just a click away.

I had started to control the AP’s from a software platform off one of the office computers, but found that had complications due to it having to be left on continuously. The controller has fixed all of that and makes the system connection seamless.

Would recommend others to get it if you are setting up the Omada AP’s in a work environment.

Installation follows logical and easy to understand steps. Note that there are 2 apps that can be downloaded to interact with this device – a regular version and a “Pro” version. My Ipad Air 5 did not recognize the device from the regular app.

It worked flawlessly from the “Pro” version of the app. I do not know if that is the case with iphones as well. A nice new feature (to me at least) is that you can also use the planets as alignment targets.

Also a list of targets is provided whenever searching for a target. This is especially convenient when searching for an object that is placed several key pad strokes down the list of the hand controller.

Scrolling through lists is a great feature.

The Sky Watcher Sun Scan WiFi takes the place of the handheld control unit. It is quick and easy to connect to the WiFi signal that the unit creates (just look for the signal in your Settings) in your phone or tablet! Once connected, the unit produces a flashing signal to show that it is operating.

Once connected, use the app (easily downloaded from the App Store on your phone) to star align and slew your mount to any star, planet or deep space object in the sky! It will also track your object if using for photography! The best feature is that you can send the mount back to the ?home position? when done with your session and hibernate the unit when finished using.

A lot of features packed into a small and affordable unit!.

After setting up my mount and testing it using my tablet, connected smoothly and had complete control of the mount. Went out this past Saturday night for an imaging session and the WiFi Dongle worked flawlessly.

Made it so much easier than the hand controller. Was able to star align without getting up to use the hand controller. Once aligned I was on my target dead center and started imaging immediately. As I was out all night, I slewed to my second target, and it was dead center.

I recommend this to anyone that has a compatible mount.
