Perfect device for the job. Works out of the box with the Wii U. My son ran out of HDD space on our 32GB Wii U very quickly, so this extra 1TB comes in handy. Keep in mind saving progress might take an extra few seconds since this is an external drive, but once you get used to that it seems to work seamlessly.

This item came really fast and it’s great. It has all you need to connect it to the Wii U and easy to follow instructions. It’s set up and working hard in under 10 minutes.

The controller is great for anyone who loves the feel of a GameCube controller. It works just as it’s designed to and easy to set up. It comes with a very generously long charging cable too which is nice.

At times though, it can feel like my button inputs are somewhat delayed? This happens very rarely and could just be my Wii U. Another issue I had with it was when I was first using it, being it was a bit too light.

Especially compared to an original GameCube controller. After half an hour or so it became normal. Overall a good controller.

The GameCube controller’s button layout has always been superior, but the controllers work best for smaller hands; this controller is perfect for adult hands. It’s completely usable for kids, and they’ll grow into it.

The GameCube controller is on the smaller side, so it ends up being kind of small when you’re full grown. If you miss the button layout of GameCube, definitely get this. It act as a Wii U Pro Controller, so it works on anythign that supports th Wii U Pro Controller.

You can even get an adapter to use it on your Windows computer, xbox 360, xbox one, PS3, PS4. There will probably be an adapter to use it on the upcoming Nintendo Switch.

Works seamlessly. Good feeling buttons and sticks. Works on any game that accepts the nintendo pro controller (most games), because it is seen as a pro controller. It’s now my go to controller on Wii U.

I was so happy to find this brand new Wii U Gamepad charger as mine had stopped working a few months back and I had left the console with my mom when it happened. Its got everything up and running and was brand new as pictured.

This is indeed a functioning product. Nintendo brand logo is on the product in all the places it should be. Product came in plastic wrap with twist ties on the cords. New condition, no problems whatsoever.

To customers seeking this type of product: Beware the non-Nintendo brands. I made two prior attempts to purchase this product from two different buyers, but I didn’t make sure it was a genuine Nintendo product, which resulted in two orders of defective cords that did not work properly at all.

It’s not worth it to buy the cheaper versions of this cord, if it’s not Nintendo.

I’m not sure what to review here really. It’s a power cord. It lets me turn on my Wii U. Works great for that. I’m not sure if I can recommend it because you kind of have to have one if you want to play your Wii U, so I guess I do recommend it, unless you just want to share at your useless brick of a powerless console.

Bought this as a replacement for Wii U that was not coming on. Received item and it was exactly like the original one that came with system. Plugged it in and my Wii U has been up and running ever since.

I ordered this Wii replacement sensor bar my old one got chewed by a mouse and this item shipped way faster than then expected delivery date. It is better than the original sensor bar that came with the Wii has a nice bracket and easy to mount on tv.

I recently bought a used Wii that did not come with the original sensor bar, only a battery wifi sensor bar. The wifi sensor bar ate 4 AA batteries every 3 or 4 days! Ordered this wired sensor bar as a replacement and it works perfectly! I hesitated to rate 4 stars, because the range is about 1.

5 feet shorter than the wifi sensor bar we had, but then based on the price and the savings in batteries and the fact that the shorter distance doesn’t really affect our game play, 5 stars it is.

These are designed to plug into your Wii motion controller, not directly into the console itself, these work for both the Wii and Wii u. As an avid collector of the franchise, these controllers are excellent value for money with there cute and quirky design, perfect for classical gaming on super smash bros and Mario Kart.

Highly recommended and fairly cheap for an official Nintendo product. Coming in several colours and designs it’s sure to suit all fans including donkey Kong, luigi, Mario, princess peach, chrome Mario, link, Yoshi and wario.

The only slight negative on this product is the decals are easily worn and the boxes are designed to not close once opened, which means any collectors will have to keep it brand new in box rather than to use, unless they don’t mind a box with a lid that does not shut.

Great product! Designed after a Gamecube controller with minor differences. The c-stick has been replaced with a analog stick which makes use of the c-stick easier. Perfect for playing Gamecube games on the original white Wii and perfect for those virtual console games as well.

Plugs into the bottom of the Wii remote thus making up for the short cord and making the controller virtually wireless. Must have for anyone wanting a newer Gamecube style controller.

I went out and bought this controller last night and so far I am loving it. It makes it very easy to play Super Smash Brothers on the Wii U. I love the bright colors and the light design. I also like that it has a Yoshi egg on it since Yoshi is one of my favorites! It seems a little bigger than the original controllers from the Gamecube, which I have, but it still fits in my hands nicely.

The only problem that I have with it was that I was hoping it would plug into the adapter that I have but instead it plugs straight into the wii remote thus draining it’s batteries and taking a potential controller away from another player.

The cord from the remote to the controller is long enough but not too long that it gets in the way of playing.

Sturdy, comfortable, well built, same color (Gold) as Zelda Wii remote. Its practical, and its easy to use when playing game Q emulation, also SNES emulation games.

It’s a must own if you have the skyward sword Wii-mote Though it feels like it’s made with cheaper plastic it’s a nice controller to own

I gave this product a rating of 6 instead of 10 because of the let down that it didn’t really explain that it had to be connected to a Wii Remote, after purchasing this I then went out and bought a Gamecube adapter, only to realise it connects to a Wii Remote and doesn’t have the same cable as a normal Gamecube Controller which was a downpoint to my experience, glady I can say it’s a nice product and it works just like a normal controller in Smash Brothers Wii U which is what I got it for, but now I’ll have to be buying batteries every now and then for the Wii Remote.

these cables are good at a fair price, however, I only rated a 4 because i feel they do not have enough support molded into the ends where the cable enters. they break internally very easy and have to be replaced often.

I am now on my fourth pair in 18 months. good luck finding better.

What is the point of the Best Buy website if half the stuff you have isn’t available in the stores, or I suppose, what is the point of the stores. I want to know where to go to buy these things. If I want to spend extra money on shipping and way 5-10 days for my purchase, I don’t need best buy for that.

I bought this two months ago for my Wii U since the charger stopped working. The packaging was great and once plugged in, it works right away. Worth the buy.

I really want to like this controller, but any games that make constant use of the D-Pad are almost unplayable as the “down” part of the D-Pad reliably sends the character either left or right, not down.

I’ve been gaming since 1977 so I’m well versed in using a D-Pad and this one isn’t working right. Sending it back to swap it out. If the next one is improved, I will update my review.

I have a Wii and it connected great. It is a smaller controller so it doesn’t quite fit in my hands, but I’m using it to play through the old Zelda games on the Wii’s virtual console. This will be a rarity soon since the Switch will not support older Wii and Wii U adapters like this.

Wal-Mart lost a star because of how long I had to wait in line for the store pickup.

I would recommend this controller or others PDP Wired Flight Pad for people who bought the Nes Classic Mini. The controller makes it easier go back to the games selection menu by pressing the home button, instead of pressing the reset button on the console.

The controller also let you used the joy sticks on the games and they seem play easier.

I got this controller to play super smash bros. and it is Awsome it has a great feel to and and seems real sturdy. I would recommend this product to any who plays super smash bros. or Mario kart on wii or wii u.

The controller worked great with the exception of this major flaw that turned me away. It took me awhile to figure out during a 2 day test-run, however I can now pinpoint the issue. The controller while it is third party, “”The Wii U console will only register it as a wii-remote”” making it unplayable on a good selection of my games(ex:Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild) which allow only Wii U game pad and pro controller.

If it weren’t for this flaw, I would purchase more. Overall, it’s not a bad controller it worked great, no input lag, although, the shoulder buttons were clicky and had some misfire registers which happened very rarely.

No dead-zones in analog during testing and worked great for Super Smash Bros. Again, “”The Wii U console will only register it as a wii-remote”” be mindful if you choose to use these controllers on certain video games.

Hence some strictly function only with Wii U Gamepad and Wii U Pro controllers. With this third party I discovered this flaw that turned me away.

Everything you’d expect from OEM Nintendo products – great build quality, reliability, and after all these years, performance. No less or more than the US version, it works flawlessly. However, the Japanese Version doors have it’s advantages.

I’ve purchased many video games, consoles, and accessories from the Japanese market; mainly because of the condition. US products are often used harshly and not maintained well. Not the case for the Japanese counterparts.

One may spend a few more dollars, but they are well spent.

Most comfortable controller I have ever used! I have used every console controller since the N64 & PS1 generation except for the switch’s controllers and this one is definitely the most comfortable one in my hands, which are nether big or small.

All the bottons are easy to reach and press. This is the only controller I’ve seen that has a rechargeable battery that you replace without taking it apart. I bought this mainly to play breath of the wild Wii U and am 70 hours in and have yet to charge it.

I heard somewhere that it should last about 80, which seems to be accurate. You can use this with a pc but I have yet to try it. The only negatives I can think of for this is the lack of analog triggers, which I find are only useful for racing games, the fact that it is for a basically dead console, and I could do without the gloss finish on the top half of the controller.

The Wii U Pro controller is exactly what the name suggests, professional. Excellent feel, comfortable (at least for my smaller hands) and long battery life are the main highlights of this product. The D-pad is exactly what you’d expect from the company that pretty much invented it.

The buttons feel sturdy and it might sound weird, but pressing them is more satisfying than any other controller. It takes some getting used to (since we’ve become accustomed to GameCube/XBOX/PS2 designs) but the high symmetrical analog sticks are a good design choice in my opinion, in aesthetic and function.

It is also very nice that the controller has an integrated battery and doesn’t burn AA’s, this battery is easy to charge as well with an included micro-USB to USB cord, and lasts almost 80 hours! I got this controller like two weeks ago and it’s still on its first full charge! The only gripes I have, and they are very trivial, is that there is firstly, no analog triggers, and secondly, the glossy finish which is a finger/hand-print magnet.

Overall, I am very satisfied with getting this controller. Walmart being the place where they offered reliable modes (there are many counterfeits online) at a relatively cheap price (retail is $60, got it on Walmart’s website for $41).

I would recommend anyone with a Wii U to acquire this product; it is one of the best made Nintendo controllers, perhaps second only to the Gamecube.

Despite being pretty light to hold in the hands, it feels really comfortable to hold, the battery life on it is just outstanding, and all the buttons at least for me, are real satisfying to press. The only major problem I’ve had with mine, so far is that its a huge fingerprint magnet, but if that’s a problem for you, you can always get a controller skin for it on a website called decalgirl.

com. To my knowledge, its not bad if you have the official white Wii U Pro Controller, but still. Definitely recommend getting for folks who enjoy long play sessions or even for folks who want to have an official Pro Controller for your Switch and you’re wanting to pay less than a Switch Pro Controller.

Have to get an accessory for that to work, but still.

This Wii remote functions to the same extent as any other good one I’ve used. Since it is a Nintendo brand controller, I expect nothing less. It is consistent and responsive, and the motion sensors seem reasonably accurate.

I would recommend this model to anybody who asks me. It’s definitely more precise than the models which don’t have built-in Motion Plus modules.

Unfortunately the controllers don’t work well. When playing they lose control out of nowhere. Like playing Mario Kart it sometimes doesn’t turn the corner. When shooting in 3pt contest while selecting B to pick the ball up it will just shoot the ball on it’s own.

Playing golf it’s impossible to swing straight. Playing tennis and it swings out of place or doesn’t swing when you try to.

My children like their Wii character remotes! I use peach for myself and they use the others. Would like to hopefully collect the rest in the future. The remotes are brightly coloured, sturdy and well protected in their cases.

I like that the sync buttons you can press without having to remove the cases in opposed to the white remote controls.

Worked fine and replaced just as the old one. We were working the Wii in minutes.

First, an apology: since I don’t play Pokken Tournament, I have no idea how well this controller works with that game. What I can say, though, is that this is an excellent controller for a single-board computer retro emulation setup.

It’s very comfortable and has more than enough buttons for most 8- and 16-bit consoles.

I found it feels a lot more comfortable than playing with the GamePad, due to the form-factor and accessibility of shoulder buttons. This was even more the case with my children. Although it only works with Pokken, for its price, it seemed more ideal than paying for a Pro controller.

The product itself is great, the fact the the system will only let you use one locally however is not. I bought 2 now have no use for one. Very disappointing that this is the way the game functions with these controllers.

So much of an improvement! The first remote for the Wii was ok, but you actually had to buy a seperate piece to make it work, that is ridiculous. This newer version has all you new built right into it, makes you wonder if they did that on purpose so you would have to end up buying two remotes? Anyhow, the news ones work great, are so sensitive to any movements, really allow you to be part of the game, like a real golfer, or a pro basketball player.

My whole family loves playing Wii games and these controllers make them even better. The fact that they come in different colors makes them even more appealing, we got pink for the females, one blue and one black.

We learned from the earlier versions that the white controllers tend to get very dirty from sweaty hands, even with the covers on them. The black one still looks new. These work so well on any games requiring certain movements.

They are durable and we have never had to replace one yet. Great gadget to own!.

The first one I received would not charge. They sent a replacement which does charge now but I am only getting 3 hours of battery life which is the same the official Nintendo 1550mah battery was getting when new.

There is no way this is 3600mah it weighs the same as the smaller official battery and does not get the claimed 7-9 hour battery life it should be getting. Do not recommend but at least the replacement works now.

The battery was well packaged and was extremely easy to install. I can’t quite comment on longevity cause I only had it for a few days. I am in the process of calibration of the battery right now. iFixit is known for quality repair parts so I’m not really worried.

Not entirely sure about the 3600mAh capacity, but easily tripled the life of the Gamepad. The connector was also a bit harder to push in than the one on the original battery.

Be aware that you cannot use these with the NES classic console since these are not genuine Nintendo products. I’m not sure these will work with a Wii console or not. This isn’t the sellers problem, I didn’t do my proper research before I bought them.

Everything works except the directional pads. You have to push really hard to get them to work correctly. Doesn’t move as quick as you need it to in some games like tysons punch out.

My grand children love these …they were a cheap addition to the WII machine I have WII machines are cheap and still popular (couldn’t afford a ps4) So this was a great buy!.

I bought this adapter for my European Wii U and it works perfectly. It is used, but it looks new, and since it’s an official adapter, it’s exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend this adapter for the Wii U whether you need an official replacement or have a similar problem to mine and need a region specific power adapter.
