Don’t let the great low price fool you because this winch is serious business!! I admit that I was skeptical about it at first, but after all of my research I pulled the trigger on it and man am I glad I did! No corners cut on this bad boy.

I would absolutely put it up against any other winch in it’s class. It is super strong and durable and is made with high quality parts, not some Chinese/Amazon knock off. Pound for pound and dollar for dollar this is one of the best recovery systems out there! I would highly recommend this winch along with anything Rough Country makes.

I have had this winch for around 8 months. I own a landscape company and use it all the time. I have pulled out over 50 bushes and helped me drop a few trees. The other day I had 20 yards of mulch delivered and the driver tried to turn around in the yard.

He ended up stuck in the mud and with out any problems my rough country 12000lb winch got him out right away. By my guess his truck and mulch weighed more than 25000lbs. I will definitely will be buying anther one for my next truck! Also mine winch was missing a few parts when it came in.

I called customer service and they sent me the missing parts right away with no hassle. Great customer service!.

I just ordered this winch for my 2022 Rubicon Gladiator. The delivery was timely. The winch out of the box looks awesome. The red synthetic line really stands out! The installation looks easy and will complete in the next week.

Customer service prior was excellent. I had a couple questions about mounting to my stock bumper and I got an immediate response back which was very impressive. The person responding was knowledgeable and sincerely interested in my questions.

I bought this as a replacement for the dead WARN winch on my Defender. It was about 1/5 the cost but I thought worth a risk. I fitted the winch into the standard holes and it went in easily. The instructions were for 3 different winch types but not this exact winch.

It wasn’t difficult to work out what to do so this is a very minor point. I have used it to winch a Peugeot 308 up a hill and it worked perfectly. The remote control is useful too. So amazing value and does the job brilliantly so far.

Good quaility and much easier to wire up than my previous winch, very useful remote control as well. Well recommended

I really debated whether to buy a Smittybilt X20 or a Warn EVO for a little more money. I finally decided to go with the Warn and so far I’m happy. The install was pretty straightforward and although I’ve only used the winch once it did what it should, and the wireless remote option is nice.

The style of bumper I’m using does NOT allow me to use a winch cover, so time will tell how well the finish of the winch holds up. One note, the bolts for mounting the fairlead hawse plate were too short for my bumper, and I had to replace them with longer ones.

Although I am using an aftermarket bumper (BAMF), it’s only. 25″ thick steel so really no excuse for these bolts not being long enough. ALSO: Donna Marquita posted a negative review of the winch saying she couldn’t get the winch to wind in.

I would bet $100 she disengaged the winch to spool it out and forgot to move the handle back to.

I have a 99 Isuzu trooper with a ARB bumper. winch arrived with broken plastic cover on top. This is the first Winch I’ve ever had but it was sent back and am currently waiting the replacement. The instruction for installation would be easy If I Owned A jeep.

The installation instructions for a Trooper are not included. I know the simple fix is buy a Jeep, but I like my little outcast At least it isn’t a bronco.

Can’t really say much about it as I haven’t had time to fit it. “To many projects on the go” but they keep nagging me for a review, so here go’s Winch looks the part, quick service and delivery. there is one thing Bimson power could improve on.

When ordering online it would be helpful if you were presented with a list compatible items you might need to complete the installation, such as brackets, and how about stocking some Anderson plugs for disconnecting power cable if making your winch portable/removable.

The winch itself seems to be built well but the rest is of poor design. The install is not a clean install at all. The wires that came with it were not protected with a sleeve and were about 2 feet too long resulting in alot of extra needing to be coiled up inside the frame.

The rocker switch was very mickey mouse at best the way it is clamped to the handle bar. It uses a c-clamps then has a single post about 2 inches long that mounts to the c-clamp that sticks straight up to which the switch is then mounted so the switch sits up about 2 inches above the handle bars.

It is very easy to bump it and bend it down. It looks very ugly. Warn does not take advantage of the already existing terminal connection bar on the ATV. They use there own contact relay instead which has to be mounted somewhere on the machine.

The hardware came in multiple packages and none of them were labeled nor did the instructions detail which parts were for what. Very poor installation instructions. I had alot of extra hardware that I don’t know what it was for.

The wiring diagram was easy to follow but when I was finished with the install the winch did not work. I had to get out my volt meter and trace the problem down. It either came with a bad contact relay or the rocker arms switch is bad.

Warn is now fighting with me about covering it under warranty.

Received the winch a couple of days ago. Prompt, but the bracket is not included. No reference to a bracket being ordered separate. Luckily I had a bracket that I was able to modify. Bolts didn’t fit, used old bolts from the other winch.

I’ll finish wiring tomorrow. Might be a good idea to call for the bracket, if you don’t have an old winch lying around.

I purchased the Warn VRX25 for my Honda Rancher 420-ES from Bass Pro. I previously purchased the winch mounting bracket and accessory wiring harness from other vendors. Install took longer than expected.

Super happy with the finished product. Now not worried about getting stuck when alone on the hunting lease.

I’ve been wanting a winch for the occasional off-roading we do. We maybe head out 4-5 times a year for some trail fun. and wanted to have a way to help me our of any “sticky” situation. I found a couple YouTube videos (specifically looking for JL’s with factory steel bumpers) that were really useful for the install.

Install took about 3 hours and we had all the right tools thanks to my dad’s extensive collection. The winch plate is from JL Off-Road and was pretty straightforward, but had to use the floor jack more than I thought we would.

The winch itself is very easy to install. The top control is finicky to attach, but the wiring is easy and well documented and easy to do (all color-coded and self explanatory. ) It’s a REALLY tight fit up against the grill.

The battery connections are plenty long and the control is easy to use. I did NOT like the factory installed hook at the end of the synthetic rope, so we used a grinder to cut it off and installed a Factory 55 Flatlink connector.

All in all it looks really great. Nice clean look inside the bumper. I was hoping that someone had run off the road on my way home, but alas. I will have to wait to pull someone (or myself) out of trouble for another day.

I enjoyed installing this winch on my Iron Cross Bumper. it was all easy to install and all self explanatory. This winch is about as solid looking as in the construction of it. It’s really built well from what I seen so far and the fitment of it is what I was looking for.

I needed one that could hold up to many scenarios and it looks to be just this for me. I have many pics of the installing of this winch and the before and after look is a story in itself. I do like how this all came together and the looks of it is everything I am wanting.

I have made most of my purchases from American Trucks if parts are available in stock and fast shipment is there within reason. So far I’ve not had any issues with American Trucks supplying me with all I am looking for in my truck.

I’ll preference that I have not used to unstick a vehicle; however, I have personally installed and used it to wind the rope initially. This is a very heavy duty winch that seems well constructed and easy to install.

It comes well packaged, however the instructions could be rewritten to be easier to install. In addition, when I tightened a cable to the power terminal on the winch, it broke off. I was able to still connect the cable and had enough threads to tighten.

However the initial tightening was not over done and I find it to be faulty. Overall I am pleased at this point.

The warn be evo 10k winch with synthetic rope is by fr the most superior winch of all brands. Sure its a little more pricier but Id rather have a warn and get stuck than trust any one of the other brands.

Have not used it yet on my Jeep but I have used subpar winches on other peoples vehicles and they overheat or snap the line,(which is so, so dangerous), or they just plain old dont operate as describe in the manual.

Bottom line, why buy multiple winchs when you can just get a warn, with synthetic rope, and dont forget the cover to keep the rope from dry rotting, and you will never have to buy another ever, ever again.

We have three of these winches on our work trucks. Im in charge of fleet maintenance and when asked about equipping our 1 tons with winches, I immediately said WARN. Great so far with one recovery in a midnight blizzard last winter.

Looking at synthetic line to replace the heavy steel cable. Cant comment on recovering Jeeps and Toyotas yet.

Bought this 12v Winch, us Boilermakers call them tuggers, for my brother for Christmas. It will be mounted to front of car trailer to load his 55′ Chevy more safely and easily than driving it on and off.

The included synthetic rope is much easier to use than wire cable. This winch is compact, lightweight and easy to install and remove using 2″ sq. tube as on truck hitch receivers. I made a small metal box, added it to end of motor to protect wires and relay.

Maybe Superwinch can include a box in the future for those of us using these on trailers. My winch is now 3 years old and looks, works like new.

Winch and roller fair lead mount nicely to the front of the ATV without any additional mounting plate. Limited directions supplied, pretty much just a wiring diagram and I needed a magnifying glass to read.

Be ready to do some wire splicing and drilling to get a nice installation on the ATV. I watched a couple different videos on line to understand what others had done and that helped. I had never seen a “circuit breaker” for a winch on my other quad, so I had to figure out a good place to mount this out of the way.

End result is that it looks and works great.

Great little winch. Light enough to bolt to the deck of my 16 foot tilt without upsetting the balance too much and strong enough to pull my 3300 lb Mustang up the ramp. The wiring diagram included is a nightmare.

Toss the ATV handle bar extension and wire the power extension and remote like this: Wire some jumpers or use what’s on the original connectors to make connections on the solenoid battery side as follows: black to black, blue to green and small red wire to the big red terminal on the battery side of the solenoid.

Plug the remote into this and you will have a wired remote around 6 feet longer than included and the forward/reverse function will be retained. You can add more wire as needed for your rig.

The winch is a good product, but everything needed to use it is not included in the package. While the nuts and bolts to mount the fairlead are supplied, there is no way to mount it onto the winch, even though the illustrations in the adds and on the packaging (box), show the fairlead attached to the winch.

No where is it mentioned that a separate $20. 00 fairlead mounting plate must be purchased to mount the fairlead. The fairlead may be mounted to a customer’s existing winch mounting fixture, bumper, or face bar.

But, when the winch is mounted directly onto a flat surface, the fairlead mounting plate is necessary to use the fairlead. Without the use of the fairlead, the cable twists and kinks when reeled onto the winch drum.

However, there is no mention of the need, or possible need, for the fairlead mounting plate in the adds, on the packaging (box), or even in the winch operational manual. Even the store examples have the fairlead mounted (with non visible zip ties) to the winch itself.

I have two of these, purchased one last year for my car trailer, it has worked great, so this year bought another to go with a new car trailer. First one was DOA, dead. Exchanged for a 2nd, this one worked but the gear train has been noisy since new and did not sound good when pulling like the first one.

Today it failed after only 2 months, pulls in but is locked up when trying to go into reverse, maybe a dozen uses. I would not buy again outright, luckily I bought the 2 year protection plan, but have to now exchange it again.

Something change with quality control?.

I had a Badland 9000lb winch on the front of my Grand Cherokee that was a trail-only rig. I buried that thing in mud so deep it was coming over the hood (actual mud, not just muddy water) and that winch drug that Jeep, pushing a WALL of mud the whole way, for probably 75ft to finally get out of the mess I’d gotten myself into.

It wasn’t the fastest thing ever, not the slowest either, but it did the job without missing a beat, overheating or malfunctioning in any way; it just kept pulling and pulling. I’ve used Badland winches on numerous trail rigs and the story has always been the same; maybe not as fast as a super nice WARN but they always get the job done and have IMPRESSIVE pulling power (the pull rating is NOT exaggerated!).

As far as I’m concerned it’s the only winch I’ll use because the value for the dollar is absolutely through the roof.

This 9000 lb winch is a tank. It works great with a lot of power. I used it to flip over large boat docks and it worked fantastic. A little slow on the real heavy ones but it did work. I do not know the actual weights of the boat docks but they are 5 feet wide by 36 feet long in 1 case and 8 feet wide by 32 feet long in another case.

They are all 2 x 10 or 2 x 8 treated lumber for their structure and 5/4 decking on top. Make sure to fasten your winch securely of course and also wear protective personal equipment such as shield to cover your face, etc.

in the event you break the chain or whatever way you secure the winch.

I bought this winch for farm use on my trucks, tractors and trailers. I built a mounting system with hitch receiving tube so i can pull it off and move it to the desired location where needed. This thing has great pulling power.

What i really appreciated was how easy the clutch releases and the 90 feet of cable unspools with very minimal effort. If i had to buy this again i would without hesitation. The plus is that i got it on 4th of July sale for half off being a disabled combat veteran.

I bought the 8,000 lb version 2 1/2 years ago and it’s still going strong. This thing will pull a house down. I’ve pulled a 15,000 lb backhoe non running with multiple flat tires on a trailer with no problem I use a 20,000 roller snatch block.

I pull vehicles with brakes locked and rear end locked with no problem.

I installed this winch inside my enclosed car trailer in July 2019. Last summer and fall, it worked fine through about a dozen car load/unload cycles. In January 2020, I tried to use it again to load my car.

When trying to operate the winch using either the fixed switch or the remote controller, the winch’s electrical contactors made their normal engaging “clack” noise indicating the winch was trying to run, but the drum didn’t budge.

I re-checked the installation (wiring, clutch, power) and found nothing wrong. The next day, the winch worked fine for 2 cycles. Then, over the next several days, the winch intermittently failed to run and then later would work fine.

Summit replaced the winch without hassle. The replacement winch has worked properly over the most recent 8 cycles since the re-install. The size, weight and appearance were perfect for my application: loading and unloading a 3500 lb Mustang.

Great price on a respected and reputable product. I have not had to use the winch on the trail yet but have two other warn winches on SXSs that that seen extensive use with no issues. Spooling the rope can be a bear but is doable with enough effort.

I had to connect to another vehicle and gently pull on the rope to get it to fully seat.

This is my second Zeon. Originally had a Ramsey on my first JK and it did OK but after 5 MN winters and road salt, it literally had the aluminum housing crumble. Replaced with a Zeon and had 3 years with NO issues.

So when got JL got a Warn again. It was a VERY tight fit in the stock steel front bumper. So tight that if the bolts get seized (common issue in MN jeeps after several years) I’ll likely have to cut it out.

So hopefully it holds up. I would consider a smaller bodied Warn if I had to do it again. Also with the tight fit, there is no way to clear or reach debris in front of the winch, untangle any winch line, etc.

with the stock steel bumper. But the plus is it is better tucked in and protected. Used Rusty’s winch mount and liked the design since it does not have any lips to collect snow, rocks or debris on top, like other designs.

This winch is a workhorse! I had a Warn 8274 winch on my 1978 CJ7 and never had any problems. I chose this winch because of the ability to electrically disengage the clutch (alleviates having to wade through mud to manually disengage the clutch) and the wireless remote.

The winch mounts “in” the factory bumper of my 2018 JLUR and looks very nice. It took a while to mount this winch because there isn’t a lot of room to work there. It took an evening and most of the next day to mount but worth it when done.

Just follow the detailed instructions and don’t get in a hurry. You could pinch a wire (almost did) or not tighten the mounting bolts to the correct torque. It looks fantastic when it is mounted. I’m not sure I needed the 12K but would rather have and not need than to need and not have.

Overall, I am very please with this winch and will have it for many, many years. P. S. The only change will be replacing the wire rope with a synthetic rope.

I really like this product. It’s made well and assembly was super simple. However, the paint has flaked off on almost all the sides and the hook points. Of course, then it rusts and flakes off some more.

The initial paint job looked really nice and I really do like the product, but now it’s rust red instead of a nice red paint coat. I’m going to take it off, try to clean up and repaint myself. For the price, I’m disappointed that I need to do all that work after a few years.

I do have many other Maximus-3 products that I REALLY like, but they are having some paint/rust challenges as well.

Product quality was excellent and am very happy with the product. Wireless remote control operation is somewhat intuitive but reading the instructions is necessary. Installed the winch on a Rough Country Winch Mount HWCH001FD in a 2014 Ford Raptor.

Material removal on both the winch mount and vehicle was necessary. Approximately 3/4″ of the hood safety latch mounting flange had to be removed to fit the winch into the area behind the bumper and the latch moved forward a corresponding amount.

Install the winch mounting nuts into the slots in the winch feet and retain the nuts in their slots using tape before lowering the winch into place. It not possible to install the winch mounting nuts after the winch is placed on the mount.

First off, I would say this winch is very competitively priced and good build quality for what you pay. I struggled to get this winch to fit behind the bumper of my WJ jeep grand Cherokee. I spent quite a bit of money on a custom fabbed “hidden” winch bumper that was supposed to allow the winch to hide behind the grill and bumper, but because this winch is so large and not round, it was an extremely tight fit that required me to cut and saw away quite a bit of my grill and bumper area.

Secondly, I had to remote locate the control box. The control box itself is also HUGE with the supplied cover that comes with it. This cover is way to big in my opinion to gain any advantage from remote locating it.

I ended up getting a different cold air intake tube that freed up some space where the stock air box was in order to mount the huge control box in its place. Lastly, after finally getting this thing installed with many hours and hacking away on my jeep, I gave it its first test pull this week under load.

Disappointed to say that the motor will only pull in the rope and will not reverse feed out. This is due to a bad contactor in the control box. I didn’t even get to use the winch once before this defect occured, which is well past the 90 day warranty period of course.

You might ask, how much is a new control box, $193 plus shipping and tax. I can say that while this is a really good value for what you get, the trouble and hoops I went through to make this winch “work” was all for not now that its only partially functional.

Very disappointed because this unit had the potential to be an awesome addition to my Jeep.

So I’ve had this winch since it was first available. I replaced a 2 year old same capacity superwinch ( which failed under load ). It’s done a ton of work, I purchased an extra line with it which is still in the box.

It’s pulled a 7000 lb vehicle up a 40% slope of mud in a torrential rain. I used it to slide a 20 ft conex box 200 feet to a concrete pad. I’ve e used it to pull logs from cut trees and to pull bushes out of the ground for landscaping.

It’s recovered atvs and motorcycles that have run off ridge roads. Most recently it pulled three vehicles buried up the frames in Beach Sand. A land rover tried to pull out a Ford f250 and both were stuck.

I hooked up to the Land Rover and from 90 feet away, pulled them both out while they were still connected together. The other truck an f150 was like pulling a toy from a baby. From the durability and performance of this winch, I purchased badlands winches for 4 atvs.

Probably not a better winch for the money out there. If mine died tomorrow, I would toss it and purchase another as it’s more than paid for itself in recovery fees and work performed. At least a dozen people have seen my winch working and said “I’m getting one of those” so HF probably got a few sales from that.

I would trust this winch to be reliable enough to get me (or someone else) out of a dangerous situation.

This is the second Traveller 12,000 lb capacity winch I have bought from Tractor Supply. First one is still going strong. Great purchase. I bought the second winch for a second trailer. Was thinking about switching the winch between trailers as needed but this is a heavy unit.

I have used it for dragging two and three foot diameter logs onto a flatbed using a couple of the Traveller 20,000 snatch blocks with no problem. Have used the winch to pull broken down 4×4 trucks and even a 8 x14 shed and another 8×14 patio/deck onto the trailer with ease.

The first task for my second one of these winches was my nephew using it to pull a stuck 4×4 truck that was axle deep in the mud out, dragging it first sideways toward a tree and then onto dry ground using the Traveller Quick Mounting Plate for Truck Winch, QM10000 mounted on the hitch of the truck.

I also bought the Traveller Wireless Winch Remote Control WSE3R5 and it was another great addition. The good – strong pull, heavy duty, comes with a nice cabled remote control, easy switch to release cable for a manual pull out, then switch to powered pull in or out, long steel cable to reach well off a trailer when mounted on the front of trailer even if using snatch block pulleys, integrated roller fairlead, besides the plastic cover over power cables it is solid steel construction The bad – A little expensive when not on sale, the cable can/will bind on the steel housing toward the end of the pull when all cable is retracted if you don’t make sure it spools evenly throughout the pull, the plastic cover over the wiring sticks up and wouldn’t be protected from any accidental impact, connector for remote is not weather proof when plugged in, the remote plug in cover for wired handheld remote control or receiver for the wireless control has a plastic cover that doesn’t open far, making it very easy to get broken off when in use.

(First thing that broke on my first winch) when trying to get a part number for just the hinged cover it looked like I wouldn’t be able to just get the small flip up cover alone and would have to buy the whole top plastic cover.

I ended up using a spray can lid and black rtv sealant to fabricate a better weather friendly solution. Overall I highly recommend this winch, which is why I bought a second one when it was on sale. I know this seems like an ad for the winch and Traveller accessories but it’s not.

I have just used this model winch for some heavy pulling and have been impressed with its ability to do what I need. (I have owned other brands over the past 30 years and have burned more than one up when I needed it most.

These have ranged from cheaper less known brands to expensive name brand winches. ) At this point I’m very happy with the Traveller, and besides the plastic cover I’m impressed.

I got this as I was wanting to redo my landscaping and had a lot of hedges that had been in place since 1982. I didn’t want to try and remove them with a pick and axe and I knew there was no way my truck could pull out the hedges so I thought I might get this to pull them out without killing myself or my truck.

Wasn’t sure if this would be able to do it or not. Boy am I impressed so far. I mounted it on the the truck receiver hitch plate, sold separately, and then anchored that to a big oak tree in my yard.

I played the MacGyver theme song as I used a 1/2” grade 8, 6” bolt, 6 fender washers grade 8, 3 on each side and a nut to secure the 3/8” chain to the receiver hitch (via the through hole where your pin secures it to your hitch) and to the oak tree with a large piece of carpet to protect the bark from the chain.

I then pulled my truck up next to it so I could use the battery cables to power the winch. I left the truck running and also hooked up a battery charger to make sure the battery was getting plenty of juice to supply the winch for all this.

Very impressed at the power of this winch (12,000 model). Had I not had the oak tree to anchor to, I never would have been able to pull out all the old landscaping as the truck would have been pulled across the driveway before the hedges pulled loose.

I had a few large hedges with a pretty thick trunk and after single line pulling the winch stopped. I readjusted with a snatch block and redirected back onto itself for a double line pull and it yanked the hedge out without any issues at all.

Very, very, impressed. Absolute must buy for the money and value. Very, very happy customer. This thing payed for itself for me in one afternoon. Highly recommend. I also ordered a front receiver hitch for my truck and am looking into adding quick disconnect wiring for the front and rear of my truck so I could use it either way if needed.

So impressed. After seeing how this pulls out large hedges with 20+ year roots, I would image a stuck vehicle in sand, mud, high centered…. would be a piece of cake for this winch.

I purchased one of these thinking it would be a great option for my truck, and wanted to save some money over the higher priced name brand ones like Warn and Ramsey. Well. mounting it was a nightmare as nothing lined up right to the optional mounting plate I also purchased.

Even the fair lead had to be forced to fit. I also picked up the wireless remote unit because I wanted to have that capability too. That thing never worked, not even once. The winch itself started out working pretty much as I expected but after about a mount it would cut on and off.

After checking all my connections I discovered that the negative post that goes to the actual motor itself was loose so now I have to wiggle that to get it going when it stops. The cover is made of a VERY light duty plastic and even the slightest contact with anything will crack it all to pieces.

The cable got snagged on the left fair lead roller and instead of rolling it pinched it and broke a strand of cable. Now when I use it I have to make sure I don’t get stabbed by the sharp strand sticking out.

I’m hindsight I wish I had spent a little more money and went with a winch from a company that builds them as their main product. I will continue to shop at TSC but I will be selective, read reviews and do my research on items that animals don’t eat from now on.

My small shop manufactures, among other things, flatbed and motorcycle trailers from 4’X10′ up to 8’X14′ and every trailer comes with the Badlands 2500 lb winch! It’s a very affordable way to increase salability and value in my trailers which no one else does! This inexpensive little winch performs like a giant and when used properly, will last for years.

I’ve probably purchased and installed in excess of 50 or 60 of these winches on new and used trailers and my customers just LOVE the fact that the remote control means no tethering to the winch with a cumbersome controle cord.

50 ft of wire rope insures enough cable to run out to a pulley and back to the wincy for those tough pulls and the remote means you can be at whatever point your needed without being ham stringed by a control cable limitation!.

Bought to mount on the front of my truck to pull my heavy duty inflatable boat up out of the water after a days fishing. I have a dolly that goes under the back and then it’s usually me playing the role of a mule to haul it uphill out of the water.

This year I decided i’m tired of being the mule so jumped on this Badlands 2500 winch on memorial day sale. Hooked up really easily, wireless remote was a key feature for me and it works the full length of the winch cable even though it says it only has a 20 foot range.

Really the only negative i have to say about this winch is it’s FN LOUD ! This is my first winch so I don’t know on average how loud winches are, but this thing is LOUD. Not sure what I can do to absorb the sound maybe build a box around it or just live with it.

Otherwise happy with it so far. Oh the other thing is it only comes with a 90 day warranty. Again not sure if that’s normal for winches or not but it strikes me as short. It’ll get me through fishing season this year and then it’s going to sit in a box till next year and it’ll be out of warranty by them.

When I took this out of the box, the metal rope guide had rusted by the bolts and broke off. This was after is sat on a shelf in my garage for about 8 months. (Nothing else in my garage has rust issues.

) The rope is so incredibly hard to get to wrap straight. The thing that really annoys me is that every time I want to use it, I have to open and replace the batteries in the remote. I left the batteries in the remote twice, letting the unit sit idle for a week, and the remote was dead both times.

I don’t know what the remote is doing while it sits on the shelf, but it is apparently very exhausting for it.

This unit replaced the factory offering on my 2014 Can am Outlander Max XT. Straight forward bolt-in application. Works awesome. In my opinion, a way more robust and smooth winch than the stock unit ever was, even when it was new.

Wife wasn’t real happy about buying the Terra 45 for my Rzr 1000 xp 4. Didn’t use the winch on my last Rzr. On a ride yesterday when we ran onto a Rhino stuck in a somewhat dry pond. Black suck mud and setting on its frame.

Let the owner slip and slide to hook me up and sucked it right out. Their plan was to start walking the 7 miles to town. Very happy with the winch.

Nice fit and finish. Well packaged. Did lots of research and this winch had the best pricing. You felt like your getting the winch you want as opposed to getting a value winh for top dollar from the competitor.

Installed on my 2002 Kawasaki KVF650 Prairie, fit up perfectly.

So far the winch performs great! Only reason for 4 stars is the winch had a couple minor scratches on it when pulled out of the box. The remote feels strong, I like how the cable controller plugs into the top of the winch.

Easy to install and get hooked up.

Was buried to the frame. Took about 5 minutes after hooking up to rescue the truck. I did have to do some grinding on bolt heads to install the line protector onto the winch mount.

What winch mount are yall using? The winch will hardly fint in the saddle of a mount. Can’t get the fairlead bolts in because it’s so close.

Love this winch. 13,000#. Insane power. Drags my 7000 pound truck with all 4 tires locked up with no issues. I had to once and expected disaster, but was very pleasantly surprised. Slightly heavy compared to other brands of the same size and power, but worth every ounce.

The wireless remote works flawlessly at the full length of cable. Reccomend to anyone who wants a solid, strong winch. Power Hound.

For what you pay, just the winch itself is very stout and is worth it. Would have rated it higher but the elec box is not very good, it had a few cracks in the case, and when I opened it up, I found only 2 of the 4 screw mounting the two relays were there.

The bus bar between them was too short and the other 2 screws would not reach. So I had to correct that, glue up the cracks, and make a stronger way to mount the box. I drilled thru (smaller than the minor thd dia) each mounting position, tapped the holes thru, and ran long screws in it so that about 1 inch of threads stuck out the other side of the box.

After putting fender washers and nuts on the each thread, I had 4 studs for mounting the box in a much stronger way. The remote control works as it should and is a nice feature.

I like this winch! Works great. Like all Winches slow, (But does the job). Unit good quality. We tested the unit on steep sandy hills using its cable at Max length. After an extremely long pull electric motor was just warm.

Remote worked great! 100+ feet away and it worked without a glitch. Units looks great too. Installation instructions pretty simple. Wish it covered Maintenance items but it does the job for proper wiring.

For 220 or so dollars shipped I am very happy. Again , we tested it in tough real world conditions and it worked great!.

Just needed a compact lite weight winch for my ATV plow blade. Does the job and the hand controller worked out nice since I didn’t have a winch ready set of bar switches. A little noisy on the lift/pull but handles the load fine.

Time will tell, but so far it’s done it’s job well.

Worked fine for a while. Only used to raise and lower the blade on my atv in the winter. Quit working after 11 months.

It is the perfect size wench for my use, i have a reciever hitch rack on the back of our RV camper that i haul my Predator 3500 generator/ inverter on, the rack is made for handycap chair so it has a ramp that lets down, i have a bad back so even though my 100 lb generator has wheels it is very hard for me to roll it up the ramp so i am mounting this wench on the end of the rack so i can load my generator or unload it with ease, i just start the generator and plug the wench into the 12v outlet and with the remote control wench it up or down.
