Might have to do small little modification like sanding down some points where the window was rubbing against the rain guards but grate product !

go on easy.. i filed the edges down one window still hits a little and goes back down but still works and they look way better then the ones you stick on the outside of your car

Installed easily and without any problems. Only issue was the plastic shrink wrap packaging stuck to the adhesive backing so when I unwrapped them the adhesive was exposed which could have been a mess if they had have touched anything before or during installation.

JUST LOVE THESE DEFLECTORS. WE USE THEM ON ALL OUR VEHICLES. GIVES SHADE AND KEEPS OUT THE RAIN WHILE AIR CAN FLOW. KEEPS VEHICLE FROM BUILDING UP HEAT WHEN KEEPING THE WINDOW CRACKED OPEN. GREAT PRODUCT.

Bought it for my van and they are of descent quality and ok look versus the overpriced weathertech

Ventshade has got it all wrong for this application. 2014 Ford Escape. I’ve bought 2 , 3 years a part hoping they would have fixed the issue by now. Nope, no such luck. On front window application Ventshade catches the window at both the front & rear section & the window gets caught on the edge of Visor which prevents the window from closing.

Very pleased with the AVS vent visors. Easy to install and look almost like OE. Tried the in-channel type previously and had poor results. The externally mounted type (like these AVS) are far less likely to come loose and/ or fall off.

I had one of the in-channels fall off my rear window at 50 mph. The new AVS units I just installed work great at keeping out water and still allowing the car to get some fresh air. The only neg. is a minor increase in wind noise at times, so turn up the tunes.

These look nice and with 3M tape easily installed. The two front shades did not match the contour of the window exactly but I still managed to fit them to work. They add a nice look to the vehicle.

This is the 3rd set of vent visors I have purchased for my Chevy or Gmc vehicles. I really like the ability to crack the window down for fresh air, even when it’s raining. This is a great product. easy to install, looks great, and very durable.

the vents are good quality but. They didn’t quite go with the contour of my front windows but installed them anyway. Once I went to put the back ones on I realized they were for a extended cap, not a super crew.

When I placed my order it didn’t give me a option for SC ??? Maybe it was my fault but I doubt it. Next time I will know better – at least I have them on my front windows, I threw the two for the back in the garbage.

Bought these for my daughter’s 2017 Tahoe. The instructions were clear and concise. They fit perfectly and their curvatures matched the vehicle exactly. Also, made in America.

First time I used in-channel visor compared to the sticking onto the outer door frame on my previous Tacoma and Jeep. Overall it works great as long as you take your time and clean the inner window channel.

I rushed mine. The 3M double-sided tape works good, but wished it was a little wider as it adhering to felt surface in the channel. The scotch-brite souring pad in the kit is not enough to clean and smooth out the felt.

Sometime later, I will remove them to clean the felt channel with sandpaper or scrap with a razor, and use a wider tape. Another tip: I did use a razor to clean up the inner corner edges to prevent scratching the windows over time from the injection mold flashing.

Overall its a great buy, just take extra time to clean it. I completed the install < 20 mins.

Nothing special about it. Make sure you watch the YouTube video on how to install. There are tabs that go in the door trim, if you do not put those in the window will go down thinking that there is something in the window.

Make sure you shove it as far up as you can, or else tape will remain exposed. Does pretty well on keeping the rain out. Just average. Will up.

Upon opening the box and getting the package out I found it to be ripped open a little and one of the visors was hanging out and had some decent scratches on it. The rest of the visors were sealed under the plastic film but it had gotten hot or was vacuum sealed so much, something to where the film was stuck to the adhesive tape and the red plastic that covers it.

It was a nightmare to pull it off and keep the adhesive tape and red plastic cover intact and still usable. Installation was not bad and easy enough but I’m not to crazy about how the front flange/tab sits in the window track.

It seems to work on the driver side ok but on the passenger side that front flange causes the window to constantly trigger the rolldown sensor. Overall they aren’t bad on price, do look ok once installed and go on pretty easily so I can’t knock them for that.

But in the long run I think the higher priced sets may have been the better way to go.

I’ve installed the outside mount type deflectors on several vehicles. I wanted the in-channel mount, but had a bad experience with one. Another thing to consider is the outside mount gives more room between the glass and the deflector – something I like.

AVS needs to do something about their packaging though, there were multiple scuff marks on the deflectors under the top one.

Installed on a new double cab Tacoma in under 30 minutes. Practical, affordable and functional. Will see how durable they are in time. Pleased with the product thus far. Also installed the AVS hood deflector and both the deflector and vents match up in color perfectly.

Combined they seem to be a good and functional protection package for right at $100. 00.

2019 Tundra CrewMax. Installation was a breeze. The package comes with everything you need. Test to make sure the visors all fit appropriately before installing. Basically, three step process installing the visors.

Use the friction pad to rough the surface, use the alcohol pad to clean, and then use the bonding agent to help hold the visors in place. They work great and no issues with the windows rolling up or down.

I always install window deflectors on every truck I buy so I can leave my windows cracked open while at work and not have to come back to a truck with wet seats or an over heated interior. They are also nice when you are driving and just want a little fresh air and not have that wind disturbance sound that can drive you nuts! I had put another brand of in-channel deflectors on my last Toyota and had a problem with the drivers window sticking a little as you put it down.

Toyotas are built with very close tolerances which is a good thing, but there just isn’t much room for an in-channel type deflector. A freind of mine recomended the AVS Ventvisors. He also owned a Toyota Tundra and had no issues with the windows sticking.

I bought these for my Crewmax and installed them in just a few minutes time. I could see right away why the other brand I had installed on my last Toyota had crowded the windows. The AVS Ventvisors are much thinner than that other brand.

My windows go up and down with no snapping. The downside to thin deflectors is that they may not hold up to brush type car washes. The packaging says not to use automatic car washes unless they are touchless.

Those giant roller brushes aren’t good for your paint anyway, so maybe I’m better off just washing my truck by hand or using the touchless car wash. All in all, the AVS in-channel Ventvisors look good, install easily, and serve their purpose with no window binding.

I would buy them again.

I love the in channel visors. They are sleek and looks better then when they are on the outside. I first had them on my Tacoma, loved it then, love it now. It was also an easy install, took me 10 minutes by myself.

For anyone who owns a superduty, you know most people buy the window deflectors that use the 3m tape that stick to the outside of your window, don’t buy those they are trash. I purchased the in channel guards even though most people don’t get them to work properly.

The key to making these work is to install them and then prior to letting it sit for the 48 hrs so that way everything can settle properly is to place something between the window and the guard itself.

I placed something that was probably an 1/8 of inch thick where my window kept getting hung up, I let it sit for the 48 hrs in the sun and didn’t roll down my windows at all just like the directions say.

once the time was up I had zero issues with the inchannel guards. I should have installed them sooner.

Received it in just five business days. Took less than 30 minutes to install. Fallowed easy to follow directions. I bought the inside channel visors because I have had the outside stick-on type on all my other vehicles, but this one I wanted a sleeker look.

Looks great on my 2022 crew cab Silverado. Seem very durable as advertised. Time will tell as to more of the quality material and value. Great buy for the cost.

Got a little worried when the safety feature on the truck made the windows go down automatically when it sensed the rain guards. When installing you have to make sure you push the rain guard out when you roll the window up and down.

Other than that the install was easy and they look great. A month later and I love them.

So the front ventvisors are great but the rear ones are horrible! To be more specific it’s like they’re too short. If you move them towards the front door they don’t go far enough back and if you center them over the window there’s a good 2-3+ inches on either side off chrome instead it covering all.

My old set covered it all!.

The ventshades are of very good quality and much less expensive than any other that we could find. They installed easily and fit well. They are of the darker shade witch works very well in Florida. These ventshades were difficult to locate as this is a new car.

Ive been using Auto Ventshade products since the 1960s and, while the classic Stainless Steel ventshade of the past is a memory now, I find the AVS In-Channel Ventshade to be a worthy successor. Bought a set for my 2013 Tacoma Double Cab, and the fit is perfect, the installation simple and the strength superior.

Just be sure to follow the directions COMPLETELY for a secure attachment.

I’ve had AVS vents previously on a 4Runner and liked them. Later I bought a Mitsubishi Montero, and chose EGR vents because they did not require adhesive. The EGRs never fit properly and were loose when the window was down.

I recently went back to AVS for my Tacoma and couldn’t be happier. They fit perfectly and have a very low-profile streamlined look, as if they were factory options. Easy to install and effectively block wind and rain.

Additionally, the price was better than all competitors.

Arrived on time, very easy to install, seems expensive for what it is but works great. Have driven in the rain several times and no water comes in but I still get some fresh air. Very nice for keeping heat out of the car while parked.

Helps with road noise a bit too. Looks like an OEM installation and had no scratches which a lot of other folks wrote in about giving me some prepurcase concern. Will purchase another set for my other vehicle soon.

The AVS rain guard installation was quick and easy, a matter of minutes! They look great and are made of a durable material. This is the second vehicle that I have installed AVS rain guards on. I highly recommend them!.

Not so easy to install, not enough adhesive tape, had to modify one side, used them though put them on my 02 Mazda B3000 looks good but dont like the way my windows go up now be cautious when purchasing.

Overall highly satisfied. Super easy install. I was hesitant at first cause I was used to the in channel visors, but if you place these on the rubber trim between the window and frame, IMO they look so much better, on the frame as instructions say they didnt come down very far.

I actually retaped/reinstalled them after reaching out to AVS, they sent a free tape kit to replace. Definitely will purchase again when I get a new ride. DONT FORGET TO CLEAN THE AREA GOOD!.

Easy to install. Take the time to prep the surface to make sure there is no dirt or dust before you apply the 3M double side tape. The kit comes with alcohol wipes but mine were dried out. I assume the package had been sitting for a while.

A few Cotton swabs and a bottle of rubbing alcohol did the trick. You’ll appreciate the extra prep time later when your visor is still attached instead of flapping in the wind because you were in a hurry to install them.

The bright chrome finish looks really good with the Delmonico Red exterior. Even my teenage son, who is not a fan of chrome (he’s an all black guy) says they look good.

Well these fit perfect along the door on all four. I’m particular when it come to detail so when I first installed the front driver side I noticed the deflector was a little to thick to tuck under the plastic molding on the window near the mirror so I sanded it down to less than a 16th of an inch.

This keeps the molding from noticeably sticking out. Hope this helps to anyone out there.

Very easy to install, perfect fit for my 2021 Ram Rebel Crew Cab. I’ve taken this truck off road in places like the everglades, outer banks beaches in NC, the rainy season in Key West and they haven’t shown any signs of wear and abuse.

Had them for about a year now and they still look like they did when I first put them on. MONEY WELL SPENT!.

Bought this for my ’21 Limited. They arrived quickly and were easy to install. I had a fairly dirty truck so I cleaned the area a few times with alcohol then with their prep pads that are included. I followed the instructions and they went on quick! It took longer for me to clean the area than to install the deflectors.

Install of the ventvisors was simple, peal the backing off the tape, position, and stick. I had bought these visors a year ago and they have stuck on without issue thanks to the 3M VHB tape. My only issue with these visors is that while they are shaped to match the arch of the window on my 2014 Corolla there are a few gaps between the visor and the door.

While these gaps look like they might let water in, so far I have not had any issues even in heavy rain.

I did not have any of the problems I read about in the reviews. They didn’t arrive scratched or broken and they fit properly. I thoroughly read the installation instructions, doing a pre-fit to check where they mounted.

Then I removed the protective film from the adhesive according to instructions. Everything went on smoothly, fit perfectly, with no gaps or leaks, and looked good.

SET of 4 Ventvisors ordered and received. The 2 rear visors were extremely scratched and unusable. One phone call and a complete new set was shipped. When it arrived the cardboard shipping box was damaged.

Upon inspection 1 visor had a chipped edge. I replaced it a good visor from the first shipment. I’m fairly sure the Post Office was responsible for the damage to second shipment. Alls well that ends well.

I got on Napa online and ordered AVS shades for a 2022 four-door Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Received the parts and proceeded with installation install the two front visors and started to install the rear and noticed that they were too short the parts were direct shipped from AVS to my home I contacted Napa and they are going to contact AVS and get authorization to turn return them so I’m still without shades but I have used AVS on all my vehicles in the past and hopefully I will receive the correct ones sometime next week.

I advise the person that I talk to at Napa that the package had been opened and installation had started so I removed the front shades and repackaged as best I could. I might add that the instructions said to scrub the felt before installation well this vehicle doesn’t have felt it has rubber seals but I did go ahead and scrub with the pad the rubber seals The photo attached are the shades back in the packaging held up to the rear window the rear side windows on my vehicle is over 27 inches wide.

They make your car look good but they are not just for looks. The windows can let the air in and the rain out. I have used the AVS products on all my vehicles and so far never had a problem. All three of my cars have these affordable vent shields and I’m sure if you choose them you will like them also.

I liked everything about the deflectors. The way they look and ease with which they went on. They really make a difference with the look of the car. I ordered 2 by mistake and the person at customer service was very friendly and helpful.

I will definitely make other purchases from this company. Very pleased.

We purchased these rain guards about a year or so ago. They look very nice on our Avalanche and seem to be very good quality. The only area I can say anything negative about them is that, the rear window guard flew off on a highway after about a year’s service.

We were very disappointed to have lost just the one rain guard since they don’t sell individually or even in pairs for the rear windows. However, we were very fortunate that this company honors their lifetime warranty and, thanks to them and Autoanything who took care of all the details for us, it was replaced in short order.

All in all, we are extremely pleased with this product, the warranty, and the customer service of both the manufacturer and Autoanything. The people couldn’t have been nicer and the service couldn’t have been any better.

We would definitely buy these rain guards and any other products offered by either again and give them 5 stars all around.

Window Visors work well, fit well, and install with ease. I really enjoy the comfort they provide. Keep window’s cracked when it is warm, when it is raining. Will purchase another set for the wife’s car in the near future, they have started making them for that model.

I’m pretty picky on what kind of accessories I put on my $30K+ investments, and I picked the EGR brand for BOTH the bug deflector and the rain gaurds. The bug deflector picture showed a different version of the EGR bug gaurd than what I wanted, the second one I ordered, was the one in the picture, but now I have to eat the shipping to send it back to the manufacturer.

That ain’t right. so as far as I’m concerned the rain gaurds could play the Star Spangled Banner while I’m driving, and I’d still be pissed at having to go throught the trouble and expense of shipping something back that was wrong due to misrepresentation in a picture, by the way, the picture shows my exact model,year, and color of my vehicle.

Go figure. Bug gaurds have to protect/cover the hood, or what’s the point? sorry, EGR.

Ordered front window units for a 2010 Camry and 2010 Rav4. Rav4 units went on perfectly and work well. The driver side for the Camry works well but the one on the passenger side was so tight it wrinkled the window tint.

I’ve looked at it several times and can’t see what the problem is.

Product was just as described. Thick plastic compared to what stores sell. Easy to understand instructions and install.

Let’s get the “bad” part out of the way first: the upper left corner of the driver’s side deflector tended to jam against the window and keep it from going up smoothly: a bit of filing/sanding on the deflector solved that.

NOW THE GOOD STUFF. I got the lighter gray shade deflectors and they look great on my 2009 Tacoma. It blends in so well people don’t even realize I have deflector’s. and when they finally realize it (or I point them out)they are impressed.

More importantly, I’M IMPRESSED! They look great, work great! (I like to keep the window cracked open when I smoke, and the deflector’s do a perfect job of keeping rain out). Installation was pretty straightforward.

I ordered this for my 2000 Toyota Echo 4door. The front fits perfectly but the rear is too long!! I emailed Autozone TWICE, and they always email me back that someone will contact me. NO ONE EVER DID!!!! This company SUCKS!! I will NEVER, EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE AND RECOMMEND MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO SHOP THEIR EITHER!!!!!!.

Yes, I can now leave the windows on my 2005 Volkswagen Passat open without rain coming in but for this model in-channel rain guard, unlike stick on ones on our other car, a GM vehicle, the amount of vent/air flow these provide while parked is negligible.

The car remains hot inside due to the small opening provided which I measure as the distance between the window glass out to the rain guard. They are also stupid expensive for this VW. Nearly 5 times more expensive than say for a Buick.

Wonderful product, was very easy to install and they look really nice. I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase. AutoAnything is the place to go to find items for any vehicle. My car really stands out and looks nice with the new deflectors.

My sister bought a front door set for her Dodge Dakota pickup and I was so impressed with their sharp appearance and how they really did deflect the wind when our windows were down, that I had to have a set for my Toyota Camry wagon.

I love ’em! They fit very snugly, although I had a minor issue with my front windows not completely closing all the way on the top. My mechanic fiddled with them, said it was the channels on my vehicle being tight and NOT a malfunction with the deflectors.

He sprayed silicone on the top of the windows and deflectors and problem solved! I’m very happy and plan to order these for any other subsequent vehicles I buy through the years! Thank you! :).

I like Weather Tech Window Deflector because this product is very good and holds up. However, I am disappointed that they they do not have rear windows deflector. I was advised that rear defeltor is made by another manufacture (AVS).

I’m a little leary that the color will not match. Overall I will buy other Weather Tech products and it is well made due to different weather conditions on the east coast.
