There really is no definitive answer to this question as it depends on personal preference. Some people like to use a dry red wine in their lasagna, while others prefer a sweeter white wine. Ultimately, it is up to the cook to decide what wine they want to use in their lasagna.

Did a lot of online research before purchasing, & this wine cooler had most of what I thought was important: size free-standing compressor auto defrost door not reversible, but could order rightleft hinge dual zone wanted Energy Star rating, but this is not Temp is set 41 upper, can’t get lower than that so that’s where the beersoda is Temp is set 45 lower, for white wine.
Not storing reds in cooler. Compressor runs about 10 minutes out of 30. I’m getting used to sound, but husband wishes it were not as noticeable. Glad this is new model as older model was noisier I’m told.
Cord length is 3-4′ long. If this was built-in surely it would be less noticeable when compressor running. Very well built & professional looking. I would purchase again, & husband says if it does what we want he would also.
It seems to be cooling fine, but temps do vary in zones (right now temps are 42 & 46 degrees. ) 4 stars only bc of noticeable compressor sound.
This was purchased because it was said to be able to maintain very consistent temperature, among other things. We were a bit disappointed that, even when full, it still has temperature swings of several degrees.
Shortly after purchase, we called the company about this issue, and they said it works better the more full the wine fridge is; but that doesn’t seem to make much difference. It’s nice that it holds so many bottles and that it has two different zones.
I was surprised, though, that it doesn’t seem to be able to hold a large (1. 5 L) wine bottle, even in the larger shelf on the bottom (due to the bulge inside the fridge where the components must be).
It kicks on and off a bit, making humming noises, which I suppose should be expected. Overall, it holds wine bottles, and keeps it close to temperature. I haven’t had other wine fridges ever, so I cannot compare; but for its price, I would recommend researching other options perhaps.
The NewAir Freestanding 43 Bottle Dual Zone Compressor Wine Fridge is the best value for the money when it comes to keeping wine chilled. The quiet, powerful compressor keeps wine at the perfect temperature between 41 and 64 degrees, while the double-paned glass and exterior thermostat controls help keep in the cold for efficient operation.
This fridge is equipped with removable racks that help to provide customized storage for up to 43 standard bottles. The sleek stainless-steel design looks great in any room of the house. Everyone deserves to get the most out of their wine.
With the right storage, wine’s complexities come to life, which is why the NewAir baseline wine fridge was created. This double zone fridge comes with a compressor system to ensure your collection is kept at the perfect serving temperature.
Enjoy your whites and reds to the fullest with a fridge that keeps the internal temperature consistent and has specific features that help preserve wine’s flavor and aroma.
This NewAir wine fridge is just barely ok. It keeps temperature well enough, but is noisy doing so, with an irritating compressor whine audible from several feet away. The shelves are cheap wire and “pull out” only a few inches, just barely enough to see the front bottles, with the only way to see the rear bottles being to pull them out of the rack.
The front temperature lights are very bright and will illuminate a dark room. So, looks fairly good and works ok, with bad shelves, a noisy compressor and overly bright front lights. What was shocking was the totally unacceptable “drop off” delivery experience.
After “tracking” info showed a delivery several days away, I get a random unidentified cell phone call which I uncharacteristically answered. Turns out two guys in a truck are surprisingly outside our garage in the alley with the large box containing the cooler.
I told them this was a complete and total surprise and asked what they’d have done had I not answered the phone or had not been home to accept the no warning, out of the blue “delivery. ” They said they’d have left it by the garage door and left.
What?! I could have been out of town with the delivery supposedly still days away-the trash company could have taken it as bulk trash or it could have been stolen. So, I got a cheap, serviceable wine cooler with the worst buying and delivery experience I’ve ever had for any appliance, from Best Buy or anyone else.
I would recommend you not buy this average product with its horrible “drop off” delivery. Not ok.
I am pleased with the size and the overall look of the unit where I have it placed. I did experience a couple of things when I first received it. The interior light wouldn’t come on and the temperature controls would not adjust.
I contacted New Air customer support and they were prompt with their response and diagnosis. However, it’s a bit of a pain – the controls need to be ‘reset’ when this happens by simultaneously pushing two of the buttons for several seconds.
While the fix works, it is not permanent. Each time I want to turn on the light or adjust the temperature I have to perform the reset. It’s easy enough to do, but if I have a guest or visitor who doesn’t know this little oddity, I could see that being an issue.
Also, it’s supposed to be a 43-bottle fridge, but my maximum appears as it will be 35 IF I have all skinny bottles. The traditional bell-shaped red wine bottle will reduce that number. Overall for the price a decent choice.
I gifted myself with this wine fridge when I completed my sommelier certification in 2021. At the time, my existing wine fridge only held 24 bottles. In the pandemic, I started having cases delivered to my house and definitely needed more storage space.
I had been looking for a larger wine fridge that wasn’t going to take up a whole wall in my house and this size is perfect! It’s not too big or too small. I love the dual temperature functionality for reds and whites.
Though it will never hold 76 bottles at a time (mostly due to all the different shapes of bottles), it does fit up to 50-60, depending on how the bottles are placed in it. Also, the description of the fridge is accurate, it is absolutely ‘Ultra-Quiet’ and hardly makes any noise at all.
If you are a wine lover that likes to hold onto bottles and store them properly, I would highly recommend this one!.

The Kalamera 18-Bottle built-in Wine Cooler is a great way to start your own home wine collection. It is a single zone cooler, so you can set the temperature that is perfect for the wines you love. It’s the perfect size for a small collection, holding 18 bottles, niched in their own spaces on sliding beechwood racks.
You can see them displayed through the dark glass window set in sleek stainless-steel door. It can be installed under a counter, and only takes 12″ of width, so it fits in most homes, and it works if you want to display it in other rooms as a freestanding wine refrigerator.
The low-noise/low-vibration design keeps the cooler quiet, and your wine chilled and tasting just as it’s meant to, with no disruption of wine sediments to muddy the taste. This cooler is a cost-effective way to have an elegant start to your own wine collection.
This fridge cannot maintain its temperature. I set it to 55 and placed a digital fridge thermometer inside. Over the course of a week, the temperature fluctuated between 47 and 60 degrees. A 13 degree variance in a wine fridge is completely un acceptable, especially when it costs this much.
This prisse De mousse strain is fast-starting, clean and neutral. EC-1118 is a popular choice because of its consistently strong fermentation characteristics and high alcohol tolerance, up to 18 percent.
The first choice for champagne and sparkling wines. Also good for restarting stuck fermentations. Ferments between 50 and 80 Degrees.
This yeast works as a professional catalyst for amateur winemakers’ assorted wine musts. It offers a firm lees sediment, a clean fall-bright must with no residual yeast tastes & it will easily restart a stuck ferment.
I use it for country white wines, Germanic Rhine wines & sparkling fruit & champagne-style wines. Thoroughly recommended. Over 45 years experience with winemaking allows me to make these observations.
I bought this yeast following recommendations of professionals in wine making as one of the best for fermenting Merlot “must”. Prepared an yeast starter as described by Lalvin, and also added enzyme and yeast nutrients.
The fermentation started as expected and on the second day BRIX dropped from 25 to 21, and since by 4 BRIX step per day. Today is the fourth day and I’ve measured 13 BRIX @ 18. 4 deg Celsius, pH 3. 4.
I am very happy with this results so far and will buy this yeast again next year for fermenting vintage 2021 Merlot.
Only the very best grapes from the vineyards are good enough to serve as the source for the distinctive vinegar in this one-of-a-kind taste sensation Briannas Only the very best grapes from the vineyards are good enough to serve as the source for the distinctive vinegar in this one-of-a-kind taste sensation.
It is delightfully sweet, yet surprisingly tangy. One look and you can see the difference. One taste and you can tell the difference. The secret? Briannas dressing is made in small batches, and only the finest ingredients are used, blended with only the purest natural oils and spices.
I really do love all of Brianna’s dressings. I am a salad dressing aficionado. My husband always asks why I need 10 different salad dressings in the fridge at one time! I eat a lot of salads and I love to try new salad dressings! After eating a lot of different brands, I honestly can tell you that I enjoy Brianna’s the most.
The Caesar, Blush Wine, poppy seed, and Raspberry poppy seed are so good, they make every salad shine!.
So I used to buy Cains Blush Wine Vinaigrette until I was unable to find it in any stores near me. I was sad because it was so good and I wanted to find something close to it. I wasn’t able to find anything until I came across Brianna’s in my local grocery store.
It was a tad more priced than other dressings, but healthier and I was willing to give it a try. To me it come pretty close flavor wise to Cains. It isn’t as thick as Cains but it is still delicious!.
Hands down, this is my favorite salad dressing. It’s light, sweet, and completely delicious. I don’t like thick, chunky dressings that overpower my salad. I prefer a dressing that accents what I’m eating.
I don’t want it to cover up the flavor of my vegetables. I love the addition of fruit on my salad. This is a perfect pairing.
This product is the next best thing to having a real small wine fridge in your own home. Enjoy having wine refrigerators where you can keep up to 28 champagne, white, or red wine bottles or other of your preferred luxury drinks.
The advanced compressor cooling system ensures the temperature is not affected by outside heat sources and delivers the optimal environment for those special vintages, preserving their unique flavor and delicacy.
This wine refrigerator freestanding design fits in any room. Color: Black.
This unit is very nice, offering great value and function. Extremely quiet and perfect size for my bar countertop that also has top drawers, restricting height to less than 29 1/2 inches and this unit fit perfectly.
Two areas for improvement: (1) wire shelving a bit too flimsy, but certainly sturdy and operable; (2) packaging should be improved to minimize damage or denying during delivery. Well packaged, except for bottom, delivery drivers can easily damage corners and cause buckling of the panel if they inadvertently put too much pressure or drop it onto one of the corners and not handled precisely flat always.
Excited about first delivery only to find completely buckled corner eventhough the box wasn’t badly damaged, but could tell the box corner was a bit crimped. BBB immediately replaced and second delivery was great.
I love this wine fridge. I looked at many for a very long time, and this one suits my needs well. It occasionally makes a little bit of noise, but it’s not all the time and I don’t find it particularly offensive.
It does fit burgundy and champagne bottles, if you have a bunch of them you might have to have them staggered facing in and out. I took out the bottom shelf for standing space. I’m very pleased with this wine fridge.
For what it’s worth, I sell wine for a living so it’s important to me!.
Whether you want a built-in or freestanding wine refrigerator in your home, kitchen, or entertainment area, Lanbo under counter compressor wine cooler is the best choice for you to store all of your favorite wine collection.
The product offers capacity for storage 28 bottles of 750 ml standard Bordeaux bottles. Versatile design allows 15-inch wide dual zone wine cooler fridges to be installed as built-in or freestanding.
I have always had a wine cooler but now that I am alone, I found this the perfect size. Quite, keeps the right temperature, shelves move easily. What more can I say about this wonderful wine cooler. Love it!!.
We had a new beach house built and we added a wetbar , which I designed. The wine refrigerator fit perfectly and works well. Since wines normally don’t need to be chilled for long periods of time before using them , I decided on a frig that holds 28 bottles, which is quite sufficient.
The wetbar makes a statement without taking up an entire wall.

A great unit for a great price. It’s quiet and does the job, keeps wine cool with a high degree of reliability. After some experimentation, and broadly speaking, this cooler keeps wine bottle temperatures about 2’F difference from top shelf to bottom.
The cooler’s internal air temperature varies about 4-6’F, top to bottom. Since the cooler relies on natural air convection, opposed to fan circulation, I’ve found that having a bottle in the space next to the thermostat significantly interferes keeping those temperature differentials (bottle/air, top/bottom) minimized.
Even a full bottle slot above it has some effect on the thermostat, since cold air sinks. So for examples, with those 2 slots open, with a set point of 56’F the bottle temps are kept at 60’F top and 58’F bottom.
As the compressor comes on to cool, the internal temperature fluctuates 4-6’F greater between and during cycles. My Danby mini-fridge varies 8’F, broadly speaking. An Ashcroft analog gage calibrated to a handheld ETEKCITY infrared thermometer were used for these observations.
More bottles in the cooler takes longer for the actual bottle’s temperatures to achieve the cooler’s internal median temperature. Conversely, and it makes sense, the more bottles in the cooler the more stable and less deviation there is in bottle temperature, top to bottom.
So, buy up! If you need or want absolutely perfect temperature control you’ll be more satisfied with one with air circulation. Again, the cooler does a great job. I wish an internal temperature readout was available on its exterior panel.
Bought 3 days ago, Feb 6 2022. Put some expensive wine in it and set it to 55F. I have a portable digital thermometer that records the low and the high temp. I reset that portable thermometer properly and put it in the fridge.
The low recorded was 45F, and the high recorded was 59F. Repeated that same test, same result. So a 14F hysteresis. A good hysteresis for expensive wine should be no more than 2F (so with a setting of 55F, it should not go lower than 54F, and no higher than 56F).
Terrible control, and this is exactly what you would want to do to ruin your wine. I called the support line. The rep has no idea what the fridge is even capable of doing in terms of performance. Doesn’t know what a thermostat is.
No way to explain it to him. My only recourse is to get my money back, and that’s what I will do. Terrible product, not useful support, possibly ruined wine, but hey at least I have a boatload of frustration with the experience.
This fridge doesn’t get cold enough for food and will ruin your wine. Proceed with caution.
Overall this is a tidy little wine fridge. Looks good. Fits into our space perfectly. Holds the right amount of bottles and seems to keep a constant temperature. Two gripes: 1) It was a little hard to get it leveled properly.
I had to use some shims of my own on the rear legs to get correct. 2) The temp gauge on the front does NOT indicated the actual temp inside the fridge. I use a free-standing thermometer inside the unit to keep track of the internal temp.
For instance, I have it set at 55 degrees, but the internal is actually a consistent 60 instead. I can live with that, but the mfg should remedy this issue and/or disclose this to buyers. Otherwise, it’s a good buy!.

Caught a deal and bought 3 jars on sale for less than $5. 50 each. Glad I did, because it tastes super good for store bought. I would never ever buy non-organic sauce for $9 a jar -heck not even organic.
I like that this is non-GMO (albeit not organic), very low sodium (125 mg), no sugar added (4g net carbs). I also really dig the name Yo Mama’s. This sauce tastes sweet from the basil and, perhaps, they are using San Marzano tomatoes (that’s what it tastes like but I can’t say for sure).
Look. certified paleo / certified keto are utterly insulting and worthless marketing tactics to charge dumb dumbs more money. The only thing we need is certified non-GMO and/or certified organic, because this directly impacts our health and requires an authority that can actually require testing.
Paleo and Keto labels -wtw!!! I don’t need you to tell me if this fits those criteria, because I can read the label and immediately know myself based on the ingredients and net carbs. LOL. Still, I can’t be mad at a company that took the time to think up and go with the name Yo Mama’s.
I’m doing keto long-term and eat a turkey burger most days -I was eating 2 ounces of grass-fed beef (to get some heme iron) but switched to 4 ounces of organic turkey for the same amount of iron and far less saturated fat (although, with double the quantity, it does add extra cholesterol).
I like to take a pound of organic ground turkey and mix in a little less than a quarter cup of tomato sauce (3 tablespoons is enough) and make four 4 oz burgers ready to go -no need to add salt or any spices but you could.
I store it properly and consume all in four days. Throw a burger in a dry frying pan and it’s ready in minutes. Sometimes, I top it with more tomato sauce -about 3 tablespoons. so that totals about 1/4 cup of sauce altogether per burger (I also top with a tbsp or two of pecorino romano for an instant healthy pizza burger).
The reason I even bother with sauce is because it boosts my iron and potassium -you need this on keto, especially if you aren’t eating lots and lots of meat (vegetarians. I’m looking at you). I only eat a quarter cup (half serving), but this Yo Mama’s sauce adds an extra 1.
5% iron and 3% potassium to my day (and the grated cheese significantly boosts my calcium). If you are eating a half cup serving, double that! If you are doing keto. you need to eat a balanced diet and -at least for a short time when you begin -track your food to make sure you don’t wind up deficient in certain nutrients.
Like many folks on keto, I struggle with getting enough calcium, iron, and potassium as well as tend to overdo it with saturated fat. Although you can get away with more saturated fat when you are in ketosis than not, it isn’t a license to just go insane and eat unlimited saturated fats/cholesterol or sodium.
Bottom line, although sauce adds 2-4 net carbs (10-20% of your day) -depending on whether you eat 1/4 cup or 1/2 cup -it does add nutritional value (lycopine, iron, potassium, and some other things).
I received this week. It stated would be a 3 pack but I only received one jar. I used a little, about a cup, making a pizza. give it just the right tomatoe spicy flavor. Then with remainder of jar I cooked some thin spaghetti noodles, sauted bell peppers, onions, mushrooms and a sweet Italian sausage, once veggies and meat were done I mixed the sauce in let it simmer on low for 40 minutes then mixed my noodles into sauce.
WOW. what flavor by adding the sauce, justvthe right amount of spice and seasoning. I will definitely buy this sauce for future recipes. There are endless ways to use this sauce. Thanks for allowing me to try.

Bring your favorite comfort foods to life with Great Value Lasagna Pasta. Great Value products provide families with affordable, high quality grocery and household consumable options.
I won’t lie, before covid I was very adamant that brand name pasta shells were the way to go. When everything was on shortage, I decided to go with the Great Value Lasagna Noodle and my mind was instantly changed.
These are just as good as any other lasagna noodles I’ve tried. Only thing I wish is that they could find a way to ensure they aren’t always broken. Not a big enough reason to give a bad review in my opinion!.
The oven-ready lasagna of this brand is delicious. No need to boil in water. It is very good with minced meat and basamel sauce. You just have to cover it first after you put it in the oven because it dries out too much.
Lastly, I remove the greaseproof paper that I covered on it and add mozzarella on it and take it out of the oven when the top is browned.
Great taste and way easier than making fresh pasta on a busy night. We love using them for traditional lasagna and lasagna soup! Only downside was how many noodles were broken in the box. I will definitely continue to purchase these noodles for the price point and taste.

We didn’t instal for 4 months after delivery since we were remodeling kitchen. Broke down after 8 months of use. I will say Whirlpool said they would fix it even tho it was weeks after warranty if we could get it out from under the counter.
Well…. took about a dozen tries, about a dozen different people working on it and $150 in tools to actually cut it up in order to get it out. About 30 hours involved. Just make sure you have a loose fit if you buy it.
Installed in new build home 9/2017. It stopped running and cooling. Whirlpool repair of $125 said it was masterboard and would be $760 to replace and not included in 5 year warranty. Isn’t a masterboard an essential part and required to run the unit??It should not go out within 5 years.
Very disappointed in the fact a unit of this price would go out in 5 years and the key component to make it work isn’t covered.

I did a lot of research because I didn’t want a noisy wine fridge. I was originally going to purchase a Vinotemp but wanted something I can return locally just in case. This fridge is great. It’s more quiet the the small 8-bottle Cuisinart thermoelectric wine fridge it replaced.
It’s definitely worth the price. Its a built-in/freestanding fridge so can install it under the kitchen counter in the future.
We bought this refrigerator less than a year ago. Cost was about $1000. 00 As of last night, it has malfunctioned twice. Fortunately it is still under warranty but I’m concerned it will break down again after the warranty expires.
It was difficult finding the company that was going to service the cooler after the first malfunction. I called the number in the manual but was told they didn’t do the service calls. It took several calls to different numbers until I finally hooked up with the right people.
During one of my calls, the person on the phone tried to sell me an extended service plan. Unbelievable. The service tech came out, and after inspecting the cooler determined that two fans were not working.
He had to order the parts and two weeks later returned to “fix” the problem. The cooler worked for two weeks and then last night malfunctioned again. It’s real easy to know when there is a problem because the cooler makes a beeping noise that can only be resolved if you unplug it which means pulling it out from the custom cabinet made for it.
A real pain. As I pulled it out, I noticed the side walls were extremely hot. I have noticed this same problem now on both break downs. I have a feeling this is due to a poor design and that the ventilation space under the cooler is insufficient to keep the the electronic parts cool and working.
When the cooler IS working, I find the space between the shelves are not high enough to hold the wine bottles without scraping the labels. The shelves themselves are made to only hold narrow bottles.
Not really designed to hold 46 bottles of various widths. Also, the upper compartment can only be set for 50 degrees or lower. Too cold to store expensive red wines. To say I am unhappy with this cooler is an understatement.
I’m going to try and return it for a full refund,.
Overall, the unit is good and runs well. While some might complain about storage capacity, the unit is well designed for a 15-inch width. One design suggestion: it might be better to have more than one row have a taller height; it depends on whether you are going to have more than a few large bottles.
The sliding shelves could slide a bit more easily than they do. However, since we don’t access it every day, their performance is oaky for us. If you were to use a small wine cooler like this every day or several times a day, you’d might want to find evaluate other options as well.
Very disappointed that in slightly more than a year, the door seal has failed. It seems like this should not be something that has an issue. With all the other refrigerators with magnetic door seals under the Whirlpool brand, it’s surprising a door seal would be the first component to fail.
You would think it would something related to its size. For now, we’ve had to empty the wine cooler and turn it off, since there is no way to keep it closed right now.
For those refined tastes and robust collections, only a heavyweight wine cellar will do. This elegant column is a unique statement piece that houses the finest features, including stable shelving and tip-free technology, to ensure every bottle is cradled with care.

My unit broke down after eight months of use – the compressor no longer runs. The fan keeps on running with internal temperature never gets chill. Abt technician already came out twice but to no avail.
The second time he replaced a few parts and will have to order more parts for a third visit. This has been going on for eight weeks and I’ve to move and store all of my wine in the basement.
This is a great looking wine fridge and it has dual zones, so that’s great. We’ve only had it a couple of weeks, but so far it works great. The only “thing that makes me go hmmmm” is the noise. We do not currently have it built into cabinets – it’s in a standalone situation surrounded by tile, so it’s humming kind of reverberates through the room a bit louder than I’d care for.
Once we get it installed into cabinets I bet the noise will be better. So far: so good!.
There are many different types of wine that can be used for lasagna, but some of the most popular include red wines such as Chianti, Sangiovese, and Merlot. White wines such as Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay are also commonly used.
Ultimately, the best wine for lasagna is one that you enjoy drinking and that pairs well with the other ingredients in the dish.
