Honesty a great table wine for the price! It is comparable to many of the 15$ bottles that we drink on the weekends but at a much lower price per unit! Also- it makes a GREAT mulled wine, add some cloves, allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon sticks and 1/2 cup raw cane sugar and heat on low for 15 minutes and it’s perfect for entertaining outside socially distanced during the pandemic! Highly recommend.

Carlo Rossi makes light, sweet, everyday wines. The Merlot is their best (less bitter little sister to a Cabernet Sauvignon) and ViVino members agree giving it a 3. 7 out of 5 rating (others say the best is the Burgundy).

You’ll never taste any hint of pencil shavings, barnyard grass, or cat urine and leather (actual wine terms). Lacking such complexity, it’s still quite drinkable. There is no better wine until you pay twice.

It’s also ideal for cooking. Wines go bad after opening due to contact with the air so I fill up under a dozen cleaned and capped old beer bottles (called splits in the wine world) right after starting.

LOVE this wine – it’ a dessert wine, but it matches every dish. It is deliciously sweet without an acidic “afterburner”, no heartburn and absolutely no headache. Did I mention that I LOVE this wine? I deeply dislike that it is not available everywhere, especially at Publix.

This wine is so easy to drink it has me asking, “Why don’t I drink more merlot?” Its really smooth and doesn’t have the “Off” flavors some of the other wines do at this pricepoint. I really like the big bottle cause when we drink the whole thing at dinner, technically we only had ONE bottle! Two would be uncivilized.

We bought this wine several months ago and put into our wine cooler. Tonight we were having barbecued steaks and my husband suggested we have a nice Merlot. I opened the cooler and selected the Mondavi.

It was a little cool to begin with but once it warmed up, it was a wonderful wine. Very smooth and it had a very nice shelf with a lot of legs. I would buy it again but this time I would buy a case of it!! Cheers to the Mondavis and their wonderful wine.

Being a real Cabernet and Rioja drinker I tried this Merlot about a year ago and was very surprised of this nice bodied wine.

Recipe Style Wine but I don’t care. I enjoy this brand and the styles of Red Blend and Single Varietal. It’s smooth and ready to drink. I don’t want to have to wait years for a smooth wine, no sir I will not.

I buy it and it better be the best it can be or why buy it at all. Yes, some may say that those who wait reap the rewards, but who knows if I’ll be alive to enjoy. Recommended, have a glass and enjoy with family and friends.

A guest brought a bottle of Quilt Red Blend to dinner last evening, and all I can say is Wow. IMO I would rate it 92 – 93 points. Excellent taste from the first to last sip. Next up I have to try their Cab.

My wife and I wanted a flavorful bold wine but not “peppery. ” The combination of syrah, zin, merlot, and petite syrah makes for a fantastic smooth flavorful wine. We had it with grilled rib-eyes and slowly finished the bottle afterwards.

We’ve given it as a gift and will buy it for ourselves again.

Wow, What a Great Suprise!! I totally Loved each and every wine made by FitVine! And its true, I didn’t experience any headaches or after effects commonly experienced from typical wines and their unhealthy additives, sulfites, chemicals, etc.

I could truly taste the difference, so crisp, clean, fresh and fruity! My favorites in order would probably have to be as follows: RED: 1) Cabernet Sauvignon 2) Pinot Noir WHITES: I would have a hard time picking there as so completely different and Loved Both! But if I had to chose probably 1) Chardonnay 2) Sauvignon Blanc! If you’re at all hesitating, you really need to just DO IT.

I am a diabetic and although I love wine, it always leaves me feeling “sugar sick”. I am so happy I found this brand. I can enjoy this wine without any adverse effects. AND it tastes great. Crisp and light but flavorful.

I have tried the other whites, the rose and I’m looking forward to trying the red blend.

I ordered two different cases of wine. Each case came in cardboard boxes, which I will recycle. The bottles were entirely surrounded by thick styrofoam, similar to the pre-environmentally conscious packaging of electronics.

I can not recycle this styrofoam in my town. It filled my entire trash container. I had to split it into two weeks of trash service so that I could still dispose of my other household trash. I have sent two messages to Fit Vine regarding their packaging and received no response.

Dry Farm Wines ships their wine with molded cardboard instead of styrofoam!.

I place the cab at a 3 and Syrah between a 3 and a 4. Is a decent value when considering the price. Will try the other wines that I purchased in the mixed case and report back. Really like fine CA wines but am concerned about what I learned recently about allowable added ingredients, as well as traces of roundup being found.

I need to research more. May switch to European wines if I find out there are more ingredient and roundup restrictions. Great idea on your wine proposition.

Please keep the Holiday Blend as a regular red blend. I usually drink your cabernet and pinot noir wines (I try to only drink low sulfite wines because I really feel the difference in the morning when I drink regular wines) and this Holiday blend is by far the best taste wise.

Please keep it as a red blend available year round. I bought 2 bottles to try it over Christmas with friends and then drove back to Sprouts afterwards to buy the few bottles they had left.

Smooth, watery, tiny bit of sweetness, no alcohol burn, way too tart. Poured down the drain after a few glasses. It was only $10. The Carlo Rossi Sangria is much better and interesting but always seems to be out of sold out.

I enjoy bottled wine a few times a week. Have for many years. I had never tried Rossi Paisano until last week when my Italian neighbor suggested I try a local restaurant owned by real Italians. They make authentic Italian dishes from scratch, everyday.

The food? Out of this world!! The wine they suggested? Yep, you guessed it. Rossi Paisano. WOW. I was very pleasantly surprised! So now this is what we drink whenever we want a smooth, mellow, “chianti” kind of red wine.

We highly recommend it to all our friends and family. Many of them incredibly surprised as well.

Always a favorite. Smooth and tasty. My wife, who struggles with reds especially that have a lot of tannins, is able to enjoy this. Not cheap, but certainly not nearly as expensive as seemingly comparable wines.

We stock up at home, as it’s become our go-to wine. We keep buying wines much more expensive to compare but always come back to this. There’s a reason it’s one of the most popular wines. Enjoy!.

This wine is delicious and easy to drink. It’s actually very delicious that it gets only 4 stars. Wine is supposed to be complex, it needs to come with a kick, it needs to make you work for it, it needs to tease you with its flavors as it opens up.

This wine doesn’t do that! It’s just a uniform good taste throughout. For reference I think chateau Musar is the best wine in the World.

The bottle of Opus One was a 2016 because the store did not have the 2017 in stock. The wine was great, not a connoisseur but it was flavorful with good body and held up well against the pasta that was with dinner.

Definitely a purchase worth making.

This wine is one of my favorites for parties. Not one I particularly care to drink as a top choice a bit drier fornmy taste but over all my guests seem to enjoy the taste of the bottle. No matter as long as they enjoy it then we are good to keep purchasing.

This wine is great. Tastes great and not too expensive. Great packaging! It is so cute. I like that they include a picture of a grape on the label so we remember where it comes from. Great for parties, and I would recommend to others at the drop of a hat.

Better then yellowtail.. (For the money)… No oak finish like Mark West, my fav?.. But 5 bucks ? Rate at 83 Oh buy the way. Blueberry hints in this wine

This Red Velvet should age reasonably well. We tried a 2012, and it was nice. However, I must emphasize a few of its attributes, and underscore a significant caveat. This wine is soft (i. e. , velvety, creamy or silky, whichever word talks best to you), but it does not work like a typical wine.

It’s very aromatic and one-dimensional, with some feel of a fruit nectar. I suggest you do not serve it without some warning to an unsuspecting guest. On the other hand, I admit that some may like it very much.

It goes particularly well with heavy stews, for example, or even pasta Bolognese, covered with cheese and pepper. Nothing I said earlier should suggest that this wine is sweet. It isn’t, it is not sour either.

In fact, on that score it is well balanced, just as any other typical dry red wine should be. I score it at 2. 5 stars, but that’s rounded up to three. If you like this type of wine, you will feel its value to price ratio is very high.

It’s a budget wine, so definitely do not expect some kind of complex profile from it. For the price it’s good. It tastes chocolatey-woody-cherry rich, without too much acidity or bitterness. There are wines more expensive than that, which taste worse.

It’s usually not my 1st choice, but if nothing else is available I’ll gladly take it.

Cupcake Vineyards Red Velvet Wine begins with rich aromas of blueberry, raspberry, vanilla, caramel and chocolate. Tasting shows similar flavors to the nose and has a very smooth and creamy mouthfeel.

With 12g/L of residual sugar this is definitely a sweet wine. Despite the liberal use of oak to try and cover up all that sugar, it’s still bordering on dessert wine territory and that’s probably what this one is best paired with.

You might even want to chill it a bit before drinking. I prefer to drink mine chilled! The wine ends with more sweet fruit, a bit of spice and lingering vanilla, caramel, cola and chocolate. While the whole thing comes off as a bit artificial tasting, it just kind of works.

One of my all time favorite dessert wines hands down!.

I first tasted this wine several years ago at Bear Creek Farms in Indiana. I went there a couple of times. A girls retreat. They have since closed and I miss it. But they featured Oliver wines and the soft red is my favorite.

Raspberry and blackberry mixed together for a very satisfying flavor. Oliver is my go to wine!❤️.

Shocked this is sold as wine, with the vinery stating “just sweet enough” on their website. Tastes like sugary grape juice, disgustingly sweet and if I had been blindfolded I would not have recognized it as wine.

This used to be my only wine. Bought hundreds of bottles of it in the past few years. When the 2019 vintage was all bought out the 2020 vintage took its place. It is not even close to the same. I bought 4 bottles and ended up dumping out two of them.

Something I have never done till now. I will try the 2021 vintage when it is available in stores. Till then I begin a search for a replacement wine.

I really like this product because it has a nice blend. I really love tje fact that it is neither too strong nor too light. For mw personally it is the perfect blend for a good red wine when I dine. It hits the rightbplaces of the palette and keeps the comverstaions going.

Deep purple color. Nose of dark fruit, tobacco, hints of cocoa. Low acidity. Medium tannins. Black cherry with plums, figs, and cocoa. Well balanced. For quality have a affordable price. Totally recommend.

My Uncle who is of proud Sicilian ancestry gave a bottle of this to me and suggested that I might enjoy it. Well, certainly I am! Although I have a palate that is attuned to Sonoma and Napa wines (having lived there) I do appreciate varied styles and qualities.

This wine brings forth the imaginings of being in the warmth of a Mediterranean summer day sitting at the large family table outdoors listening to the kids play and the adults banter while quaffing a delightful wine without fuss and dabbing at olives and prosciutto, not to mention some lovely and perhaps savory goat or sheep cheese, and crackers touched with rosemary.

Get the picture? – this is a fun wine, not one to be serious about. Prost.

This Italian IGT field blend is a dark purple/violet; sweet nose of red/black plums; full bodied with a tannic grip that holds things together; “applesauce sweet” up front and mid-palate, tart on the sides; honeysuckle and oaky vanilla in the background; pleasantly complex for the price point; lengthy finish if you care about that sort of thing; a rare treat, unlike anything I’m familiar with; pair with charcoal broiled anything!.

This is a very nice wine. Elegant and smooth. Big but not overwhelming. Don’t believe the one and two star reviews- this is a very nice, quality wine. Even though it is the same grape that is Zinfandel in California, the flavor profile is nothing like that.

Very deep and flavorful with dark fruit and cigar box notes.

Very surprising wine! I thought with the whiskey barrel aging it would be overly spicey and have a bourbon aftertaste. Instead it is really really good. Tastes like wine should. Very fruity, nice grape flavor that dissipates immediately.

Dry but not tart. Really clean, little to no aftertaste. Love it! Gonna buy more soon.

We had this at a recent wine dinner. I wasn’t excited, because I’ve had their Cabernet, and wasn’t impressed. But this was delicious! Everyone at our table was “oohing” and “ahing” over it. Even my wife, who can’t stand a good Cabernet, really liked it.

(They were serving the 2020 vintage. Don’t know how much difference that makes. ).

Although expensive I decided to try this wine about a year ago. I prefer sweeter California wines rather than bitter vinegary reds from France etc. OMG this is the best red I have ever tasted. It’s rich without having an earthy texture or taste.

Lovely deep fruity aroma and taste without being heavy. I can happily sip on a glass of this while cooking dinner. and then have another with dinner! One to put on your Xmas list when people ask you what you want! Try it.
