20 Best Winter Dress Boots (2022 Updated)

This snow boot is really nice. It keeps your feet warm so you can wear thin socks. Although, I bought these in wide, I was not able to pair it with my thick wool socks because these are not wide feet friendly.

I don’t have the widest feet, just a little wider from normal size and it’s not the most spacious/comfortable wide shoe I’ve tried on. I wear size 8. 5 in wide for steel toe shoes for work and it’s much more comfortable.

But since I dislike returning items, I will keep the boots in hopes of them stretching over time. I only recommend this product if you have small or normal width feet.

I initially ordered these for work boots, but as soon as I used them water reached the inside soles and my feet were soaking wet all day. Besides that I also ordered extra wide. They hade the label of extra wide on the shoes and on the box.

Although side bye side to normal shoes they had the same width. I even up sized from a 10(normal size) to 11 with extra wide as well and it was so uncomfortable and painful. My feet were being squeezed all day.

I was super excited to buy these for the cold MN winter months. I ordered 1 full size up. In wide width size 10. They came in super packed abs very stiff. Hardly any give. Once I got my foot into the book it was so tight I could hardly stand it.

When I ordered nothing was stated these ran extra small. Their wide width is a joke. Not wide at all.

I bought these for the winter time to wear out in the cold without getting cold feet and they work well with the double insulation in them. You only need 1 pair of socks and they will keep your feet warm for hours! I ended up walking through a running creek and they are very water proof as my feet or insides never got wet.

The only negative is that they have too long of laces and you need to stuff them back into your boots or you could easily trip on them.

Tried these on in the store and just had to buy them! Bought a size bigger than usual to accommodate some thicker socks and couldn’t ask for more. Keep me warm and dry. Wore these after a 15k race through the snow and my feet quickly warmed up.

Wore them for shoveling and exploring and they kept me nice and dry. Great deal!.

I needed a pair of boots like these, but was unable to get a size 11 inner boot to even get 1/2 way on my size 10 foot – same result on a size 12. These boots run small – for a narrow foot only in my opinion.

Not having a pull strap on the back is also a design flaw. Otherwise a very nicely constructed boot at a VERY reasonable price.

I usually dread the winter but I’m actually excited for snow this year because, for the first time, I have a really great pair of boots! These boots, because they are black, match with everything but the little bit of color makes them very fun.

The best part of them is just how warm they actually are for how light the feel. I went up a half size, which I highly recommend, because the extra room has helped with air circulation so my feet get very warm.

Also, I have room to wear thicker socks but I don’t need to because of how warm the boots actually are. I bought these boots to take with me to college and I’m glad I did because they are going to come in handy for the next few years.

These durable, light, and warm boots were an excellent purchase and I recommend them to anyone searching for the perfect winter boots for themselves or their daughter.

These are disappointing. I was expecting a warm, well made boot, but when I received them, they definitely weren’t. The style is cute if you live in warmer states, but anywhere with a decent amount of weather, these won’t hold up past a season.

The main boot is barely lined, and the lower foot part looks like if you stepped in a puddle your feet would be soaked through. They do fit true to size, but they look sloppy when you lace them to fit your leg.

I’ll be returning these.

I purchases these in Jan 2021 and wore them during our first storm. They were warm with only 1 pair of knee high socks on and my feet stayed dry while shoving snow. Snow kept sticking to the bottom of these boots making everything very slippery.

When I removed the snow from the bottom, it was about 1/2 in thick. I would not recommend this boot because if you don’t realize how much snow is stuck to the bottom and go walking into your kitchen you will probably fall on your butt.

Love these boots they are really cute, comfortable, and warm! I wear a 7 and a half so that’s what I ordered, they fit perfectly. The only reason that I didn’t give them 5 stars s because of the snow that gets caked up on the bottom of the boot.

I wore them on a hike last week and had to keep stopping to scrape the caked up snow off from the bottom of the boots. Positives outweigh the negatives though and would DEF buy them again!.

Purchased these last season (2020-2021). The zipper worked fine but this season when I put them on, the zipper pops apart at the bottom and will not stay closed. It is difficult to get the zipper pull back to the bottom after it pops open.

I end up wearing them without zipping them up, rather inconvenient and sloppy looking.

I wanted a Snow/Rain boot, easy on and off, and the Totes Men’s Glacier Winter Boot did the trick. I got the next size larger (10) so I could wear 2 pairs of sox, and they feel very good and will keep my feet dry in snow, slush, rain with great tread on the bottom to keep me from slipping.

Tried some others from other vendors, but Totes was the best for me.

I ordered these for my husband who is always a true size 10 and they are too small in length. The width is fine, but the length is shorter than a normal size 10. There were no reviews, so I couldn’t judge the fit and assumed they would be true to size.

They would be great if they were.

I bought the pink ones and they are so pretty and bright. The color is brighter in person. The are a little hard to get on, but once you get your foot in them they are very comfortable. I wear a size 6.

5 in every shoe and I ordered a size 7 in these and they fit great with a thick sock. The size 6 was too small. I ordered a 6 and a 7 to compare and the 7 is great, but you need a thick sock. These boots are definitely worth it.

Super cute and cozy. I do love the look, color and comfort. They are a hair snug length wise so if your on the fence 1/2 size up. Also traction is non existant so beware on slick surfaces. Great alternative for when I want to be cozy but I don’t wanna ruin my uggs ei light drizzle flurries etc.

I love this boot but only gave it 4 Stars because it’s very lightweight, feels kind of cheap, and has a very slippery tread. It doesn’t keep my feet super warm but the color makes up for all of it’s other flaws.

I found it to be true to size and comfortable but just not of super quality.

I bought these boots to have on hand in case we have more of the terrible weather we had last month in Texas. The weather has since cleared so I have not worn them yet. However, in trying them on and wearing around the house, they are super lightweight and very comfortable.

I trust that they will keep my feet warm and dry during the next rainy and/or snowy day. They are actually quite stylish and functional. I recommend these boots.

My honest opinion i bought 2 pair typically the run true to size maybe a little bigger, I bought a 7. 5 and 8. The 7. 5 Fit however a little tight for thick socks. The 8 didnt fit without socks, Judge for your self i returned the order and got an 8.

5 in this boot. Mostly the Journee collection is true to size or run 1/2 size bigger but not this boot. Just my experience.

So comfortable and beautiful. I know they will be great for cold Weather. There’s cushion in the footbed. When you walk in them it feels like walking on air.

I’ll start by saying I really like these, they are cute and comfortable. But, they are not as warm as I hoped. If you’ll be using them for extreme colds do not get them for that intention. I used them for a trip to Minneapolis, MN and had to buy new boots while there.

They do however keep them warm if you’re a little more south and not going to be outside for extended periods of time.

For years I purchased the Technica apres ski furry boot. I have had three different versions, and two are still with me. G However,, I’m no longer a travel skier, and live in a ski resort town full time.

I’ve finally worn out my well-loved Technica boots, and it appears they are no longer making them. I’ve tried many other similar styler boots – most more expensive, and took a risk on these. For the prices , these are a lovely replacement.

Truth bo told, I’m saving them for next ski season, so I can’t attest to their durability, but they feel a lot like my previous. I will report back next ski season.

I ordered two pair of these boots, the Black and Dusty Brown, in my usual size 8. They arrived this afternoon and wore the Black pair today. Since there isn’t a zipper, they do take a little time to get on, but once on, they are extremely comfortable and very true to size.

The inside of the boot is fully lined with faux fur, which keeps my feet warm and the boots a pleasure to wear. I deliberated some about buying them, because according to Minnetonka in an answer to a question, they are 6 inches high.

They are actually 8 inches high, which is a fine height for a shorter boot. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase and would highly recommend them.

These boots slid easily onto my feet and were comfortable right out of the box. I am size 9 and I think the 9 fits perfectly. Seem like they will keep my feet very warm. My only concern is the look. I’ve never had a boot with the fur on the outside as well.

Makes me feel a little bougie to be honest haha. Other than not knowing how to style these, I think they’re a quality boot and recommend adding them to any shoe collection. This is also an at a glance review, I cannot speak for long term hold up yet.

I didn’t even get to wear these a full month with a Chicago winter before the insole disintegrated and exposed huge holes and a thin cardboard layer covering those holes. Really disappointed in the poor craftsmanship of their shoes.

I have not worn them yet because it is warm out but I’m sure they will be great in the winter. I think they are extremely comfortable , fit perfectly, the color is great and they seem like they will be very durable in the cold wet winter.

I love these boots! I ordered a size larger because boots are always small on me and these came and were big so I was going to return but needed boots so I kept them. They weren’t so big they were falling off but I believe I could buy my normal size and be perfect.

Order your normal size I would say. I am a bigger girl and they hold up very well(384lb) They are a true wide if you order wide and super comfortable. I am going to order in my normal size now too. The bigger ones will be for shoveling and around the house outside activities and the other for going out.

I recently bought a pair of similar looking sorel boots. They ran me about $150. I bought these on sale a few weeks later at $35. These kept my feet warmer in the snow. I used them to shovel my very deep drifted driveway for about 2 hours.

My feet never got wet or cold. They are very comfortable and are high quality. The wide versions were out but the normal width pair fits my wide feet perfectly. The fur trim also looks high quality and very plush.

I would 100% reccomend. I’m currently trying to talk myself out of buying a second pair in a different color because I have a lot of winter boots already, but. they are just that great!.

So far have kept my feet toasty – temp has dropped into the 20s here. I normally wear a size 5. 5 – I ordered 6 – with thick wool socks they’re snug but not unwearable. At first I thought I was going to return them but I was too lazy so decided to wear them anyway.

They have definitely gotten more roomy and comfortable over the past week – I have no regrets! I didn’t try a 7 because I never worn a 7 in my life.

I have had this type of boot for 35+ years, and I honestly believe this is only my 3rd pair in all of that time. Granted I only wear them a few times a year, hunting, snow, etc. , but regardless, that says a lot about the quality, and durability of them.

I normally wear an 8 1/2 or 9 in women’s – and need a wide. I ordered size 9 and they fit perfectly! Even with two pairs of thick socks. I was afraid I’d need to order larger but was pleasantly surprised with the fit.

So far they are keeping my feet warm and dry. Temps have been down to about 5 degrees above zero. Feet do get cold when standing around in the cold. But no more than any other boot of this style.

i use these as my dress polar boots! when its really cold and slushy,its the only pair of kamik boots i don’t torture! ! pull them on fast! and easy off, fit was good in 7,s, i have no issue with the boots, i bought them on sale, well satisfied.

I live in the south and didn’t have snow boots, so got these during a bogo 50% off sale. We just had a snow storm so I got several days of use. They were comfortable and kept me warm. They seem a bit heavy, but I’ve never really shopped for snow boots before so that may be normal.

Love the fur detailing. Hoping that at least for occasional use, these will last a long time.

Perfect boot for when it’s too cold to wear running shoes but not cold enough for a winter boot in Toronto. It’s practical because it’s looks good and is waterproof so you don’t need to own multiple pairs of shoes.

The removable sole also provides an option to wear them into the winter (if you are not doing outdoor winter activities). We sized up half a size at first because the reviews says they run big. But we found them to be true to size so we returned the 11.

5 and got an 11.

I picked up a pair of Blundstone 1391’s a few weeks back from MEC and am pleasantly surprised. I had been concerned about fit, given my narrow feet and no laces. With the included insoles, the fit is great.

I went on a 3 kilometre walk yesterday in snow and slush, and my feet were comfortable and dry. The quality is excellent and the style, while maybe not “cutting edge”, is classic and timeless. Very happy with these boots.

Very comfortable and warm. The color is not very accurate in the photos. Blundstones states that “This boot features a pre-distressed leather that can vary in appearance. The boot you order may be lighter or darker than those pictured here.

” This is very true, mine look almost blue in some lights. This runs about a half-size larger than one would expect from standard Blundstones, likely because they are the chisel toe shape. I am a size 11 so I purhcased 10, but a size 9.

5 might have been a better call. The included insoles are useful to pad out the extra space.

Cute boots but sizing is definitely off. They are smaller than the size they are suppose to be. I have worn them with thick socks the first day, it was a long day. Today I wore them with thin socks. yeah it’s a no for me.

I was hoping to get through winter but not with these. Also the foot bed is terrible. the insole are seriously thin. Where I work there are small pebble driveway. I could feel every single stone. I took them off once I got in the car to drive home.

I really like my boots BUT there are some things you need to know. 1. They run big. I wear a 9 1/2 and they fit like a 10. I think this is by design so we can wear extra thick socks. Once I added the socks the fit great.

2. You definitely need to add insoles Other than that I really love them and I’ve gotten numerous compliments of how cute they are😎.

Absolutely love these. They are so comfortable, cute, stylish and the fur is so soft. Feels real. Looks amazing on. I have a size 12W and am so happy to be able to where the styles that are out. Finding them in the stores in my size is impossible so thank you Avenue for selling my sizes.

Very cute well-made and sturdy snow boots I ordered a 7. 5 so I could wear socks and all of this company’s boots are made unusually small. Also I definitely would not wear these in deep snow, where it laces up snow will get in; but for city snow boots these would have been perfect.

Reason for my 3 stars is that they are definitely not for deep snow and I sized up a half size and they were still way too small. Then the size 8. 5 was gone completely and I was hoping that these were gonna fit.

So having to go out of my way to return them then having to pick out a different boot because they were all sold out of the sizes up. As for DSW as a separate company from the shoes all the ladies who work there are the absolute best and treat me fantastic as a VIP should and they are always so helpful when I have issues with the shoes and accessories I buy.

Pros: These boots are so cute!! I bought the purple plum colored ones and the vividness of the color depends on the lighting. Cons: The soles are more plastic-like instead of rubber, so there is not as much traction when compared to the rubber on heavy duty snow boots.

Also, there is no arch support (so I bought a Dr. Scholls arch and stuck it under the boot insole. Extra notes: I always wear a 7. 5, so I bought a 7. 5 and they are a little snug when I wear boot socks (so I must use thin athletic socks instead).

I do love these boots, but I will use them when there is no snow/ice.

I had to get these just for the color! How often do you see such a pretty purple snow boot?! I was even more impressed with the color in person, they are not quite as bright as on the screen but, still gorgeous! I took off one star because they are a little tight across my instep but, I have very high insteps and wider feet so, I wasn’t too surprised.

I just wish they had a wide option or a 9. 5 size (I went with a 9 and it fits length wise). I haven’t tried them out in the snow yet but, they seem like they will be warm. The fur is definitely faux looking but, still nice.

Quite a bit of room around the calf and easy to make adjustments with the laces.

I did not expect this boot to have such a furry, soft inside. The color is SO BRIGHT & VIVID!! I’m totally in love with this purchase. I have a coat it accentuates so well. They match perfectly (pictures soon to come).

You will find yourself sliding from time to time in the snow. Not the greatest traction, but LOVELY BOOT!!.

These boots are very cute for winter. I wish they were more “fur” but I still like them. The inside is like foam so they are very comfortable to walk in. The bottom almost seems plastic and not rubber so I’m not exactly sure how they would work on ice or snow yet but I’m willing to chance it.

Sizing is perfect to my size 9-9. 5 foot (I got the 9 BTW). They are leather so they probably are not really water proof. I will spray them in case. Overall I’m happy with my purchase.

Loved the look of these, really like the leather and the pointed toe but the quality was rubbish. The loop at the back of one of the boots had come away from the lining when I received them. I don’t think they were worth the price.

Bought this a few weeks ago and I literally don’t want to wear any other shoes! So comfortable, looks great and fits perfectly I was only surprised to see that it’s wool on the inside, didn’t really know before I bought it.

But it’ll keep you quite warm.

Great quality, sturdy boots. One thing to note is that the sole isn’t shear lined and it offers little support so it is a bit uncomfortable for walking for a very long time.
