20 Best Wireless Ceiling Speakers (2022 Updated)

I put a pair of these in my garage ceiling. When I workbench tested them pre-install, I was a bit worried because the sound quality was horrible, particularly in the low and mid-low ranges. However, once I put them in the ceiling, they really sounded quite good I imagine because the drywall is resonating the bass.

There is plenty of volume available because of the amplifier. Overall, quite pleased with the purchase.

Had to return my first purchase because the Bluetooth module was defective. The second one is working like a champ! Fast and easy BT connection and speakers sound better than expected. Also they are easy to install and virtually disappear in the ceiling.

I’ve a bit skeptical about longevity and durability. Time will tell but for now I’m really happy with the purchase. Highly recommended!.

These flush mount speakers work well and are simple to install but the sound quality is lacking from what I had expected from Pyle. Wish the highs were higher and the lows lower. Good for an intercom system but not great quality for music or movies.

The speakers arrived. We already had prior but smaller whole for old speakers that we so discolored. We got these nice and white not an eye soar. As soon as we plugged them in we could here the cherp sound so we knew everything was done correctly.

Probably took about 45 minutes cause we had to cut our hole bigger with template and had to go in attic but very easy.

Sound quality is great. I had problems when tightening the screws, the support came out of the socket, witch required several attempts.

I have purchased 4 sets of these speakers. I was replacing old intercom speakers and repurposing the hard wires back to a proper amplifier for whole home audio. They fit the existing holes without any drywall mods! The speakers sound fantastic with good base.

Our sunroom is 25 x 40, huge and two speakers suffice. The other set I put into a large kitchen, the other as ceiling in the theater room for 5. 2 thx sound, and the last in a great room with 22 ceilings.

In all instances, great sound. However, these speakers are very expensive. In our business I always say pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered. In this case I feel Bose is being a bit hoggish And would sell a lot more of these if they were more reasonably priced.

Got a pair in the kitchen ceiling and they sound great, I mounted dynaboxes above them to help keep the sound in as the bedroom is above the kitchen. However I simply added a REL T Zero active sub to work with them (it uses speaker level inputs so was easy to run wires from the 791 down to the sub on the floor) I was hoping for more bass but beware each ceiling will have a bigger influence on bass etc, depending on what’s behind the speaker.

I have a Speakercraft bathroom speaker (similar cost and same driver size to 791) and it produces exactly the same bass as the Bose speaker. I actually added badges to mine as although I love the fact these speakers blend in I do like a badge so Bose why not include self adhesive badges? Easy to install as well.

Otherwise they are great ceiling speakers.

They are absolutely amazing in sound quality. I installed these in my garage for my gym, and wired them to a first gen Sonos! I know with a much better amp, they would sound even better! They look flawless also!.

The short – The sound quality is quite good and well rounded (highs/mids/lows). The long – I set this up in the living room in a 5 speaker config (no sub) to have surround sound for movies. After setting them up I can say I am impressed.

This is on the main floor with second story above. I cannot say how these would perform if put into a ceiling with attic (open) above. I was initially concerned that there would be a lack of low-end frequencies, but they do a pretty good job! Obviously not what a dedicated sub would do, but the 8″ woofer can push some air! Solid all around to be honest and I don’t feel like I NEED* to add a subwoofer.

I was initially looking at much more expensive options and was holding off just due to overall expense (needed 7 total) but I am glad I did. I did catch a good deal around Boxing Day which is what enticed me, but I’m not regretting not getting the more costly, “better” (maybe), speakers.

I don’t consider myself an audiophile but I do like good sound, especially for listening to music. These did a bit better than just meeting my expectations and I have past experience with other premium brands.

The install was fairly straight forward as well – Cut the hole to the size of the included template, insert speaker, tighten the 4 screws that adjust the width of the clamps. They are big however, so you will want to make sure you measure so as not to hit a joist.

9. 375″ diameter cutout for reference. I don’t think you can go wrong here.

Product was easy to install. Sound quality is acceptable for the sale price. Grill should have been powder coated white instead of grey from the factory. Grill is pressure fitted instead of using magnets which makes removal difficult.

I bought some indoor/outdoor speakers. They are honestly more than I expected and will be buying many more for the remainder I’m replacing around me house. Quick shipping and as expected. Thank you!!

I purchased eight of these SONOS round, white speakers about 14 months ago from Best Buy, Lakewood. They were on sale for approximately $250 at the time (the regular retail is around $588). In addition to the cost of these speakers I had to purchase a receiver and a separate gadget that would allow each speaker to be turned on.

Because I did not want to crawl around the attic I had to pay someone in addition to run the wires, cut the holes in the ceiling, and mount the speakers-costing around $900. My house is around 1500 sq feet so putting two speakers in each room should have been plenty of sound power.

Was it worth the trouble and cost? No! Here’s the nasty truth, these speakers, for all their vaunted tech and high price, deliver below average sound quality. Their quality is about on a par with speakers made decades ago.

They do not deliver rich, powerful treble or bass! They put out strictly functional sound. What a waste of time and trouble! My girlfriend laughed at me, and she is right. Instead of what I’ve done, she simply paid for a few Bose sound bars and put them in a few rooms, and everything is wireless.

Her sound quality is 3 times what I’m getting from these speakers at a much cheaper price. I’ll say it again, the sound from her Bose speakers, just sitting on the counter, is a good three times the richness, power, base and treble, than these round SONOS speakers.

In addition, if one of her Bose speakers goes out she just uses the warranty or gets a new one, whereas I have to deal with techs and not only the speaker but also the receiver, getting up to the ceiling, etc.

So, again, for all the cost and trouble, if the ceiling speakers don’t put out GREAT sound, it is a waste of money. If you want high quality sound, just go with a sound bar, such as made by Bose. You can try other manufacturers as well.

So, the positive is that I do have sound in each room. But again, it is strictly functional, not high quality.

Love these speakers and the design. Super easy to mount, sound great and minimalistic design to blend in with a white ceiling. Someone in another review I had previously read said they sound similar to a 2nd gen Sonos Play 5.

I’d say that’s fairly accurate. They will distort much easier than the average Sonos speaker. I have about every Sonos speaker made and these distort much easier than any of them. I limited the volume to 85% to avoid blowing them.

I’d play around with that before you go blasting them at 90% volume. I paired them with a sub and put them in my ceiling in my basement above my bar and connected them to my TV. The phantom center channel is surprisingly pretty darn good.

I probably wouldn’t use it like that in my living room but in my bar area it is perfect. Highly recommend these. I also have a 2nd pair running in my living room as surround speakers paired with a 3rd gen Sonos sub and the new Sonos Arc.

Pretty awesome setup and they make great rear speakers and you can’t even see them. Love them. They are pretty expensive but if the look is what you’re going for with solid quality they won’t disappoint.

I was looking for 4 ceiling speakers to complete a 7. 2. 4 Atmos system when I came across these. The rest of the system is as follows: Front L/R: BP8040ST Center: CS8060HD Surround L/R: BP8040ST Surround Back L/R: SR8080BP Subs: 2 x SVS SB2000 Given that everything except the subs comes from the Definitive Technology 8000 series, I had originally been looking at the DT8R.

The Polk VT60 has very similar specs (though single tweeter vs dual tweeters in the Def Tech), but at $50 a piece on sale versus $200+ for the DT8R I was willing to give them a try. Apart from cost considerations, the cutout for the DT8R is slightly bigger than for the VT60, so it wouldn’t have been the end of the world to swap them out if I ended up not liking the Polks.

Upon opening the boxes, I was quite impressed with the construction quality of the VT60s. This doesn’t look or feel like a $50 or $100 speaker, and I will note here that there is a Polk V60 which appears to be identical in every regard but which lists for $200 each.

The VT60 is a Best Buy only model. I’ll spare you the gory details of what “fun” it was installing the 4 Polks into an existing construction ceiling that wasn’t wired for speakers. Let’s just say that it wasn’t an afternoon that I would care to repeat.

With everything hooked up and Audyssey XT32 run to calibrate it all, I ran some Atmos demos. Incidentally Audyssey set the crossover for the Polks at 80Hz so they can definitely get down low for such a small speaker.

I immediately knew that this was a good decision. If you’ve ever watched the Amaze demo, the rain seemed to be coming from above – not in an easily locatable way, but in a diffuse, enveloping way. Awesome! Just for fun I tried listening to some music with all channels engaged.

Missy Elliott’s “Get Your Freak On” was huge fun with “Holler!” rolling around the room from every side and also from above. Not how I usually listen to music, but actually a very cool twist for certain genres.

Recently we watched the “Last Samurai”. There’s a scene where assassins are attacking Katsumoto’s village, and they’re creeping up the roof to begin their attack. This isn’t an Atmos soundtrack by the way, but the Dolby Surround Upmixer does a phenomenal job sending appropriate content to the Atmos speakers.

My wife about jumped out of her skin as it truly sounded as though the assassins were on our roof! The Polks did a fantastic job of producing every subtle footfall in phenomenal detail, and equally well at louder, deeper sounds as the attack was in full swing.

I could continue to praise the performance of these speakers with legitimate Atmos soundtracks like Passengers, Life, Gravity, John Wick, Oblivion etc (Life makes a lot of use of the height speakers with off-camera voices as well as effects).

Suffice to say that they’re staying right where they are, and I’m about to get a third pair for when 7. 2. 6 is realistically affordable. Don’t let the price put you off. These speakers are legitimate performers, affordable as opposed to cheap, and I suspect you’d have to spend an awful lot more to get a minimal improvement.

I use this as primary speakers in my garage. I bought these for the in-ceiling aspect not sound quality. That said, these sound decent. As i am using these in an “all-channel mode” there are probably more than what I need.

If you are in this boat, you might want to give the Yahama speakers a try as they come two in a box at half the price. I cannot say if they are a good value as I am really not testing their performance/sound quailty.

I gave these speakers 4 stars since they have not been installed yet. I already have Polk speakers, so I know the quality of their products, and Best Buy offered them at a great sale price. My issue is with the Geek Squad.

I had an in home consultation, and while nice folks, I was very disappointed! The consultant recommended speakers that were not the best compliment for my existing speakers, A/V equipment, and the physical layout of my media room.

I ended up looking at what was available and making my own recommendations. When I asked my consultant, he agreed with my choices (I asked him to feel free to disagree if he thought my picks were not the best).

I noted the rear speakers I chose were listed as “not available”. My consultant said he could get them, but after 5 days when I saw no progress, I reached out to share this info only to then get a call back telling me they weren’t available (wasted time).

The next step was an on-site survey. I expected that the person who was coming out would make sure installation could be done the way I wanted it done. What I got was someone who wasn’t sure of anything, so he had to call someone for assistance over the phone.

The survey ended with my being told that it might be ok, but on the day of the install if they start cutting holes in my ceiling for the speakers and find something unexpected, the install would not be done.

This is info that should be known before any holes are cut. I decided to bring an electrician in who did a 5 minute survey of my walls and ceiling, and said based on the way my home was constructed, as well how my previous electrician installed my current in wall rear speakers and recessed ceiling lights, that the install could be done without any issues, so I canceled out with Best Buy.

Again, all nice people, but based on my experience, the Geek Squad should not attempt to offer high end audio video solutions.

Wow! I purchased these speakers to function as in ceiling rear surrounds and they do not disappoint. At first these were being purchased as a compromise. I wanted an immersive, cinema experience in our home.

My wife didnt want speaker towers behind our couch. These are the solution. Driven by a Marantz AVR, along with other Klipsch Reference Premier speakers, the CDT-5800s perfectly compliment my setup as in ceiling surrounds.

I will be ordering more for an Atmos installation soon. These speakers are not a compromise. I have the immersive experience that I craved. My wife has maintained the aesthetic of the room. We are happy with our selection.

The Klipsch 5800 CT II is the final touch that goes with my Klipsch system. These are great for Dolby Atmos speakers. I now have 4 and feel complete on my movie experience in my man cave. If you are looking for me Ill be enjoying the Klipsch 8000 tower speakers, 502S surround sound, 504 C center Chanel, 4 CDT 5800-C II, with a SW-115 Sub.

Pushed by Denon 6400H and Amped by Outlaw 5000. My retirement present to myself. I may never leave this Man Cave.

These speakers are awesome. The Klipsch ME-800-C metal enclosuers were used for the installlation which assist in bringing out the awesome sound and for the fire safety aspect. The directional speaker ability assist to customize the sound characteristics for the room as well.

These are probably the best speaker currently on the market for a home entertainment application.

Little speakers sounds great, it was very ez to install. The only problem is I don’t know how the LED’s is powered. I installed the power to the speakers to a timer switch, so when I turn it on for 60 minutes it shuts the power off.

When I enter the room and hit the switch, they power up and I connect. Ez Pz.

Sound is excellent, range is amazing, installation easy, lights nice and bright! Downside Bluetooth doesn’t work unless lights are on

I bought this product and I am extremely happy with my purchase the receiver is so small you can hide it real easy , the sound quality is excellent, and my favorite part is you can control the whole thing with your phone.

I installed these speakers in my work shop. They were very simple to install and the sound is good. Plenty of volume as well with no distortion.

I purchased speakers with a warranty about two years ago and after about 18 months there was a noticeable distortion at bass tones. It grew progressively worse so I took them in to Best Buy and got them replaced with little to no hassle because of the warranty.

However, the replacement speakers didn’t even last as long as the first set. It has been less than 3 months and they blew again. I am not a guy who cranks the volume either. Most of the time I watch news and home shows.

A couple times a week I may watch a movie, but rarely ever turn up the volume to 1/2 of volume meter. Best Buy no longer offers warranties, so I am going to have to deal with the Yamaha manufacturers warranty.

In the meantime, I purchased a pair of Klipsch in-ceiling speakers which appears to get great reviews. Crossing my fingers those will be better. I would not recommend the Yamaha speakers to anyone since they are extremely unreliable and prone to blowing in my experience.

I was building a house the the builder has a AV guy who does the home theater. He wanted me to buy five of the Sonance 6. 5 inch speakers that cost 599. 99. and was going to charge about $900 for the installation.

I bought 6 of these for 149 per pair and had GeekSquad come install them for about $50 with total tech support. I saved a butt load of money and got a system that sounds great. I’m not going to pretend these sound as good as Sonance but for less than $1000 (including the receiver) you get a great system.

They aren’t noticeable, the sound is still theater level, and they are affordable.

These are really nice sounding speakers, especially for the price. I installed 4 of them in basement ceiling of our family room. The family room takes up over half of a very basement. In the family room , we have a CD player, turn table and receiver.

Great sound, but max output is only half the volume scroll on the iPhone after that they distort, their Bluetooth amp receiver could have been better. overall it’s a good product,

We recently moved into a newly constructed house. The builder did a fantastic job, and went so far as to wire nearly every room for ceiling speakers. He installed a power outlet with each pair, and ran high quality speaker wire between the openings.

In the upstairs, he also ran home-run wires to a closet for a more centralized system. Due to supply chain issues, he wasn’t able to get the speakers he wanted, which turned out to be a good thing for me.

I took the credit on the purchase price and designed the system myself. We are fairly entrenched in the Apple ecosystem at my house, and I wanted speakers that were AirPlay 2 compatible, so I could stream the same thing to multiple speakers throughout the house, or pick and choose.

Based on my research, the options for ceiling speakers with AirPlay capability is quite limited. A company in the UK makes a product that claims to be the only option in the world, but they cost over $600 a pair.

I found the Belkin SoundForm Connect Adapter that features AirPlay 2 compatibility, with headphone and digital optical audio outputs. The Monoprice Caliber speakers feature a RCA input in addition to built-in Bluetooth, which fit the bill perfectly.

I initially connected the SoundForm Connect to the speakers using a headphone jack to RCA adapter, but it seems that the headphone jack on the SoundForm in underpowered, and the max volume was rather low.

I replaced this with a digital optical to RCA adapter, and the improvement was impressive. I use a WiFi plug for all the components so that they don’t have to be powered for the 98% of the time I am not using them.

I hope someone finds this useful.

I installed 12 of these in my basement project (two different ones for center channel) when they were on sale. Paired with a Yamaha amp, a Klipsch subwoofer and the cheap Monoprice 12″ (under $100) sub.

Two 7. 1 surround systems – one for a projector setup and one for a 4k television. Amazing sound! My brother in law did a system for his own house. He paid thousands upon thousands more than I did, and he said mine sounds as good or better than his does.

I highly recommend them. I’ve been bitten by the home theater bug now. To fill the space (300 sq/ft in the immediate listening area that is part of about 1000 open) my receiver is on -20. It’s at the upper end of its capacity – but it fills the space nicely.

I don’t NEED more, I just now WANT more. I would love more, but would have to spend A LOT more. So in that lift l light, I’m happy with what I have. Another reviewer mentioned to run the screws in the tabs in and out before mounting them.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING THIS!!! Gently run the screws in and out several times. When you put them in the wall, set your drill clutch to a 3 or so. They will snug up well without breaking. For the price I don’t think you can beat these.

No way. If you have a budget (like most) you will not be disappointed. Be certain to get a bigger subwoofer if you have a decent/large room. I would not go lower than 12 inches 500 watts RMS. One 400 watt Klipsch from Costco was very nice.

Adding the second, weaker 150 watt Monoprice one made it wonderful. I’ll have to buy another sub for the projector system now, because two are being used on the 4k. Monoprice sells a 15″ for about $500.

I would trade my two I have for that one. Or, with the money you are about to save with these speakers over a name brand, maybe step up to a monolith sub!!! I can’t think of a better way to be introduced to a full, real home theater setup than with these.

So cheap – yet so so so good.

Very happy with these speakers. I used them as height channel on my 7. 2. 2 set up. I also tried them as 2 channel stereo set up. Quality you expect from polk audio for unbeatable price. My set up consist of Yamaha RX V1085 av receiver also got from Visions Electronics.

Paired with polk audio tower and bookshelf as surround. Immersive sound from dolby atmos contents. I set my ceiling channels at +3db for greater effects.

I already had 5 polk audio speaker and I just love the sound quality of ´em. So when I had to buy in-ceiling speakers for my home theater upgrade I ordered them on visions. ca which I didn’t know. I was pleasently surprised how fast I got them.

and the price was just amazing. Would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I have these speakers mounted in a high ceiling for stereo music application. They have good low end frequency response for small speakers. Delivery time was quite good.

These work as intended, good sound, nice clean look in the ceiling. Bought several of these for my house renovation. biggest effort is cutting the hole if you are a DIYer. Don’t buy the cheap hole cutter kit at HD with the plastic lid that captures the dust, it isn’t big enough.

I bought a 240mm/9. 45 inch blade and it worked just right.

We recently remodeled our house and added 4 if these to our living room area. We love how they sound and watching movies with them makes you feel as if we are at the theater up the street. Listening to sports on them makes you feel as if you are in the arena watching the game.

I’m am now getting on the site to order some outdoor speakers because I feel I cant go wrong with Polk by the pool as well.

WOW: I purchased a set of klipsch r-28 floor speakers from bestbuy to go along with an older klipsch sub 12 subwoofer, and an even older klipsch c6 center channel speaker. then when it came to the surrounds I was worried about the so called timber matching effect.

I decided to take a chance on the polk RC-80i inceiling speakers instead of a complete klipsch speaker system. price had a lot to do with my choice, so I thought I would take a chance, rounded out my system with a denon avr-x3000 receiver and BOOM!!! The most amazing sound I have ever experienced.

And this coming from my 7th complete home theater setup I have used. PERFECT. The entire system was purchased through bestbuy over a long period of time.

I have these mounted in a newly constructed backyard pavilion with a house-like shingle roof, attic, and finished ceiling below. It is completely open-air. The speakers are flush-mounted in the ceiling.

The speakers have good range with crisp highs and solid, distinctive bass that is not muddied. The reason for the average review is not directly correlated to their performance, rather their performance as a function of their price.

At $539 EACH, they should sound unbelievably great. Although, I would not consider myself an “audiophile”, I have always owned high-end audio equipment and know excellent speakers when I hear them. These are average to above-average ceiling speakers, and in my humble opinion, don’t warrant their price tag.

I do have a fair basis of price/performance comparison. When I ordered these speakers, I thought that I was buying 2 pairs, rather than 2 speakers. When my contractor asked me for the two pairs that he was planning to install in the ceiling of my new structure, I found that the boxes only contained 2 speakers.

I guess that I should have read the description more closely since the other speakers that I was considering came in pairs. After checking for local availability of a second pair at the local BestBuy, I found that I would need to wait over a week for them to be ordered online and shipped.

In lieu of waiting, I decided to try the Sonance-Magnolia 6. 5″ speakers that were on-sale for $159/pair. Worst case, I could return them if they didn’t sound comparable to the front pair of Extreme’s, and if they only lasted a few years, they’d be “disposable” at the sale price.

I was pleased to find that the $159/pair speakers sounded almost indistinguishable from the almost $1100/pair Extremes. The latter have slightly cleaner bass lines, but the highs and midrange sound almost identical in an outdoor installation.

Sadly, my contractor had disposed of the boxes for the Extremes, otherwise I would have returned them and installed the other Sonances in all four of my new structure’s ceiling.

I spent a great deal of time researching and comparing in-wall speakers. The challenge is to actually audition the speakers you are considering. These are not inexpensive and I purchased without audition.

No one in the area had them available, and every wall cavity and room configuration is different. Based on specs and similar Sonance speakers, I was impressed with the frequency response range, especially the low end, which is why I stepped up in price.

Per the spec, the 8″ driver only measures 7. 25″ on the face. Overall, smooth sound, low-end delivers, high to mid is tight and responsive. Spend the money and step up to these. Wish they were not made in PRC.

Replaced some 15 year Sonance speakers with the Visual Performance Extreme, and I am super pleased! The speakers were very well made, binding post securely hold wires, speaker install very easy and solid.

The grill is held on by strong magnets, so they are not going anywhere. These sound incredible, and should last a long time. They are expensive, but provide a very open sound with solid base. Sound great loud too.

Arrived quickly and in perfect (new, never opened) condition. Installed both in 2 hrs, including cutting holes in my ceiling. Directing the cone and tweeter to my sitting position was easy and intuitive.

Magnetic covers are perfect. Sound was excellent out of the box. Modified crossovers to 70hz and that much better with rest of my Klipsch 5. 1. 2 setup. Very pleased!.

Appears to be authentic Klipsch product but no warranty card with product. All literature and speaker appears complete. Install perfect and sounds great as Atmos speaker.

I purchased four of these speakers for the height (ceiling speakers) to compliment/complete my theatre room 7. 2. 4 system. The rest of the speakers are Klipsch reference 35 series and powered by an Anthem 1120 receiver.

the sound with music or movies with Dolby Atmos is amazing and immersive. My personal preference in sound is absolute clarity, no distortion, and accuracy in sound. Therefore with my preference in sound these get a 10/10 out of me.

I have the SLMs for my LCR and needed surround speakers. My couch is against the back wall and I didn’t have room in the walls to run wires. Since I was limited in options and my wife didn’t want large speakers, I decided on the ML in-ceilings.

Before these became available, I tried the IC3’s. I connected them to my receiver to see how they sounded with the SLMs and found them to be flat and inefficient. I returned them in favor of the MC4s.

The MC4s were a huge improvement. Having the ribbon tweeter, the sound is much brighter and more efficient. They blend in much better with the SLMs. With a small midrange woofer, I was realistic about the expectations.

Overall, they sound great. My only complaint has to do with the installation. The mounting tabs were not designed for thicker ceilings. I had to go in the attic and chisel out the slats in the ceiling to get the tabs to turn and grab.

This was extra work I didn’t expect.

All I can say is WOW. I was not expecting much from these height speakers. I just wanted them to reproduce the ATMOS tracks found in a lot of 4K UHD disc. They were easy to install once you have a clear path in your ceiling to run wires.

Get the optional speaker housing to ensure the speakers stays clean and not send the sound into floors above.

The speakers are perfect and balance well with our system. Once again, Keith and Brian did a great job for my wife and I from sales to install. Thank you for your attention to detail.

I’ve installed 4 pair of these speakers in my new construction home. Overall I can’t complain. I have nothing to compare these against, but they meet my expectations. I did notice that the speaker isn’t 8”, but the overall mount is.

The factory crossover is good. I would like the tweeter to be a bit crisper. The mid-range is spot on and at the right volume I get a nice round low end. I really like the magnetic grills! Install these with a screwdriver, using a drill/driver will snap the mounting ears!!! You’ve been warned.

I’m powering my system with a Juke Audio amp. It’s drives these nicely. I’m very pleased with my purchase, the quality of the product, ease of installation, and speed of shipping.

I have installed a wide variety of in-wall and in-ceiling speakers over the years as a custom home integrator, and I have yet to find a better value than the Dayton units you see here. Most speakers in this price range sound muddy and distorted with a hint of raspy tweeter.

These speakers, on the other hand, were surprisingly crisp with a fairly well defined lower end. The build quality is good, and they include round and square grills to suit your particular installation.

The low profile grills look just as good as any of the other brands out there, and they have a great crossover network built in. The only thing I found on this product that worried me a little was the dog ears (mounting tabs).

They are thinner than some of the other brands I have used in the past, and could possibly be prone to breaking if they are tightened too much. I don’t know if it will turn into a problem or not since I didn’t have any issues when I installed them myself, but it is something to think about when you tighten them down (don’t use a drill).

To sum up: These are great speakers for a great price, and will make a wonderful addition to your next system. I have no reservations recommending these for surrounds, for background music, or for any other purpose that requires an in-wall speaker.

Purchased for front height and rear surround for 7. 1 Dolby Atmos installation. They sound great and blend in well. Their cost was modest when factored into to the other costs associated with the installation in a renovation as opposed to new construction.

Be mindful that there is a nearly identical ceiling speaker in the line that had a 15-degree tilt. That configuration may be more appropriate for some.

Me and my husband wanted some speakers in our lounge/kitchen but we didn’t have a big budget so we couldn’t go down the route of Lithe Audio or Sonos. We decided to go for these and although cheap, they sound really good and look nice as well.
