20 Best Wireless Drawing Tablet (2022 Updated)

Take note of when I purchased the item. Also, I haven’t drawn in 15 years so all this tech is new to me. If you’re in my boat, then please continue to read. The table pre-set colors are wonderful. After configuring the pen I had no issues.

One thing that freaked me out was a red tint that appears after awhile. After some research, I realized my computer’s Night Light settings were also affecting the tablet’s screen so check for that if you run into the same issue.

My first impression is that the tablet would mirror my desktop, and I would see my work on two screens. Not so. Maybe there’s a way to do that. However, my computer recognized it as a an extended screen, and I just moved my trial of Clip Studio to the Cintiq window and everything is fine.

When I first installed the drivers I had an issue. So I installed the PREVIOUS driver iteration and upgraded through Wacom’s client. That fixed the communication issue between the tablet and my computer.

Additionally, when setting up my account with Wacom, for some reason Chrome (even after checking cookies) would not load the website properly. Edge does load Wacom properly so switch browsers if need be.

As the title says, the cords ruin this product. There is one central cord the connects to the top of the Wacom display. It is about 4ft long. From the central cord, it has 3 cords that come off it. Where these three cords split off from is about 3ft into a 4ft long cord.

Meaning, you only have three 1ft cords to plug into the follow: The first cord plugs into a power supply. The power supply is good because it has a power brick and about 6 feet of cordage. That is the best part of the cords because it gives the user plenty of space to have your powering system (surge proctor) and it doesn’t have to be extremely close.

The second cord is an hdmi that plugs into your display port on your computer (where your monitor will plug into). The last cord is a usb that plugs into your computer (where peripherals would go). That is a lot of wiggle room needed for all of this.

A good foot of the central cord is used to plug peripherals and hdmi/display port in. This leaves about 3 feet of cordage. that 3 feet has to work with your computer set up. If you have a laptop, it isn’t so bad (unless your display port and USB are on different sides of the laptop.

you might run into trouble). However, if you’re plugging this into a desktop, it is almost impossible to plug it in, wrap cords around everything, and still have room to prop the screen up in a comfortable location and still be able to use your mouse/keyboard if needed.

It is way too cluttered. Beware when purchasing. It does not work very well with my set up. I have a gaming set up on a gaming desk that does not have a lot of room to put this on my desk and use it comfortably along with my mouse and keyboard.

IF you have a set up that has enough room, maybe a table on the side or something. it will probably work with you. Highly recommend measuring your set up and make sure you have enough wiggle room for a 3 foot cord that is thick and stiff to maneuver around your desk/monitors/keyboard/mouse/etc.

Got it from Walmart fairly quickly and am very happy purchasing, it does what it says! The flow of the pen to tablet is smooth and amazing. I brought this with Clip Studio Paint from Walmart too later and the program works with ease with my tablet on my computer.

I got my tablet in the the end of May or the beginning of June 2020 and love it. The only problem I’m having with the tablet is when I’m scrolling the web (like googling pictures on google) the tablet bar jumps.

To stop that from happening I scroll up and down by the arrows on my keyboard. The only other thing is I wish for all the money I’m paying I get touch functions but you can’t. Now more of the pros to help y’all decide on your purchase.

The color range is beautiful and I can draw for hours with no eye problems because I can dim the lights and color controls. The size of the drawing area is great and weight is fine. I especially love that unlike other tablets I got from Wacom I don’t have to worry about restarting the tablet because it’s not working or something being wrong with pen pressure because it ALWAYS WORKS! No matter if I take out the cables or leave them connected to the computer.

Everything works on the photoshop I have (CS4). SAI worked great when I had it and now I have Clip Studio Paint Pro and everything works fine with the tablet, including the pose it models. If you do have problems with the tablet Wacom helps a lot.

With my older wacom tablets which are 2 Bamboo’s, and 1 CTH480 they helped me when I had problems. And my CTH 480 still works and I got it around 2015. Hope this tablet lasts forever because it was a heavy investment.

I rate it a 4. 5 out of 5 because it works perfectly besides the small problem I’m having and I wish it had touch functions. I’m writing this post on 1/3/2021 if it doesn’t show.

The title of the review may seem a bit sarcastic, but it is a notice that 2 handed simultaneous use is a basic thing one can do in real life that should be available by now in digital drawing. I am sure there are enough brilliant minds to make this happen and I don’t think humanity should have to wait until next century to be able to use 2 hands to draw simultaneously on a computer.

So there; no 5 star reviews of ANY digital drawing interface until I can use 2 hands at the same time. To this particular product itself, it DOES have the same issues many have of: 1. USB connection not working sometimes 2.

Bluetooth being a bit too laggy to want to use instead of wired. 3. Too easy to accidentally activate buttons and scroll wheel (not sure what to do here except be careful. So the question remains: When will humanity move on to 2 handed input ability with digital pen interfaces?.

I bought all three sizes to see which one fits for me. I think the large one really fits for my need for the multi-screen setting. I love Intuos Pros super sensitive response, customizable 8 expresskeys, and useful radial key feature.

Some people dont like the multi-touch feature, but you can simply turn it off if you dont need it. Its sturdy and will work with Mac as soon as you download and install the Wacom app. If you are an illustrator, cartoonist, photo eiditor, art hobbyist, or even musician, I guarantee you that youll have lots of lots of fun and benefits.

Although it works fine and does as promised. I wish it had the function to work on a comuter with two screens. Might be my setings but it only works on one of the screens although my regular mouse works on both screens.

The pad could also be bigger.

Tablet itself is good and feels solid. Refresh rate is really good and there are customizable pins which is always a +. I bought this just for Osu and the main problem was the random slutter/ lag spikes I was getting.

It took me some time to do some adjustments to finally get rid of it. Do I recommend it ? Yes, it’s a really good tablet for it’s price.

Nice to have this device for doing precise signatures and sketches instead of using the mouse. Great device at low price.

We own several of these small Intuos drawing tablets–two obsolete models, two recent wireless/corded models of this same generation and now 3 of this exact model. Truth be told, the only reason I bought this latest one is because it was on clearance and I lost the pen to my other one.

Not only that, the cord both recent non-wireless models went bad and the L-shaped mini-USB is hard to find. You can use a regular micro-usb cable, but they are also obsolete at this point. So I figured I get a pen and a cord with a spare tablet for the same price as buying a pen and a cord at the clearance price.

Here’s the issue I have with Wacom: The tablet is great, but the cords are very low quality, at least for the basic model. Stores don’t carry pens or the right cords (or even the pen nibs for that matter), so you end up having to buy directly from Wacom, which is a hassle, plus you have to wait.

The tablet itself, I think would last pretty much forever, but they become obsolete by new pen technology that doesn’t work with old, or new USB technology. I personally do not draw with the Wacom, but demonstrate math problems using drawing software.

My daughters are both artists and love using these for that purpose.

It’s a very good entry level drawing tablet that comes with a subscription to Clip Studio Paint for either one or two years (I forget which). The pen feels good to use, the USB connection seems fine and stable despite being USB-A to micro USB, and the Wacom software is easy to use.

Honestly, I’ve only got two complaints. The first is that the USB cable needs an adapter if you want to use it with a computer without a USB-A port – you know, one of the large ones that’s for flash drives and things.

The second is that the orientation cannot be changed, and it will always operate so that the buttons have to be at the top. I dislike this because I keep hitting them by accident when drawing, which sends various commands to the program I’m using.

I suppose Wacom could fix this down the line with a driver update, but they haven’t yet so it remains a point of irritation. If you’re already experienced with drawing tablets, go for something else.

But if you’re just kind of getting the hang of it, this tablet is really great for learners.

I’ve been a Wacom user for years, and I was on the fence of buying this model; and going with a totally different brand. But there was a sale and figured why not. One nice thing about the newer models is the cord is removeable so you no longer get the cord of death.

Which brought the end of my tablets I’ve had over the years. Another nice thing about this product, is that that the texture when drawing on it itself feels like your drawing on paper. I also like how the replacement nibs are kept inside the pen, which is nice, and you’d never lose them.

I’ve never used the features of the buttons, since I’m a simple gal. Just using the tablet itself is good enough for me. The only thing I can critique about this product is there’s no CD software, you have to go on Wacom’s website to download.

Which can be annoying if you don’t have internet access. Also I had to contact Wacom customer service to figure out what softeware to download, since they didn’t make it very clear. Since there’s quite a few different drawing tablets they have listed, this is a 2019 model for future buyers if you’re curious.

All in all I would recommend this product. :).

My 13yr old son loves his tablet and it is perfect for his needs. As long as you understand that YOU NEED TO CONNECT IT TO A COMPUTER FOR IT TO WORK then you’ll be sweet as. Fortunately this was explained to me before I bought it.

Connect the tablet to the old laptop and the laptop to a monitor and you have a big screen, A2/A3 drawing experience. Works with his Chromebook OS as well, but check on the Wacom site what series Chromebook are compatible before buying.

Will work with Windows and Apple pretty seamlessly I imagine. It really is plug it in, download a drawing software program and away you go. Hours of endless, creative fun. Chromebook doesn’t support Windows obviously so you can’t use a lot of the flasher (and expensive) drawing software programs (like the ones that come with it) but you don’t need most of those anyway and there are plenty of cheap or free software packages available for the budding artist to try out.

The pen is awesome-entry level but more than adequate and easily upgradable. For the price and to discover whether you really like it, I reckon it’s a great system. Thanks Harvey Norman for being knowledgeable (and honest) about the product and saving me a lot of money not buying a new generation iPad (Not that there is anything wrong with those either, but they are way expensive).

We have what we need for a third or less of the cost. Thanks Wacom! I feel like we will move up the specs of these tablets and pens as my son’s artistic talents expand.

Apparemment je ne m’était pas suffisamment informé sur les capacités de la tablette – j’était vraiment surpris de toutes les fonctionnalités que la tablette avait ! Du coup je n’utilise plus de souris – la tablette fait aussi le touchpad parfait.

Le stylus vient aves des pointes de remplacement qui sont bien caché mais est c’était une des surprises agréables que j’ai eu. Ces pointes sont avec des qualités différentes je suppose – on moins elles sont de couleurs différentes.

Je suis très content. Le petit bémol comme souvent c’est les surprises côté service – je trouve inacceptable que la FNAC ne fournit pas de facture pour les achats online.

Produit bien fini, facile à paramétrer et très pratique! Je l’utilise pour la retouche photo et pour remplacer ma souris en infographie… J’ai un seul écran 27 pouces à la maison et le modèle S est plus que suffisant pour mon utilisation.

J’ai passé de Intuos4 à ce Intuos Pro. Le seul soucis que j’ai, c’est que même en ayant le cable connecté, j’ai souvent mon ordi qui ne reconnaît plus la tablette. Donc je suis obligé de déconnecté le câble sans arrêt.

Sinon pour l’utilisation Photoshop, illustrator etc. c’est parfait.

Was deciding between the iPad Pro + Pencil or this to update my current retouching process. Before, was still using a prior Intuos Pro. Spent some time at the Apple Store trying to figure out if its better to just direct the money towards a new iPad + Pencil or stick with my current Intuos set up.

I ended up going with this because if you are seriously retouching a high volume of photos or drawing designs at a fixed set up with a monitor, this is the best tool to add. The iPad Pro + Pencil sounded good at the beginning but as I used it over and over it just seemed to suit a different work flow than what I needed, i.

e. , high volume retouching on my external BenQ. The material does make a huge difference in terms of how you experience the brushes/tools while retouching compared to the screen of an iPad. Overall, if you are a retoucher or graphic designer who does a high volume of work, I think this is the best tool for that.

If you’re more mobile, I’d check the other options and see if the cons outweigh the benefits.

I’ve used several drawing tablets, ones w screens, ones like this w/ out a screen. I will say it works good for what it does, however, because the pen is so small, if you have average sized or large hands it does begin to hurt after a short amount of time.

The pen also feels VERY VERY cheap, and I mean VERY cheap. I’m talking dollar store cheap. I would say look towards the Intuos Pro, or even other alternatives that are much, much cheaper. So far not exactly satisfied w the experience w this drawing tablet, and I will be returning it this week.

If they included a better pen (and they should at $200) I might have different opinions. If this is being purchased for a kid, I would say it’s partially a good purchase it, seeing as they will likely have much smaller hands, but even then, there are better alternatives.

One other thing to note, if you plan on using BT, this tablet has very noticeable lag when not plugged in.

The thing I like best about the Wacom tablet is the feeling of friction between the pen and surface. It makes the process of drawing feel very natural. The size isn’t a problem: I tend to work within the space the curve of the wrist anyhow, so this too feels natural.

It’s easy to use and the keys on the pen and pad are simple to configure. It has the wireless option, and the kit is available separately for about 40 quid. What this model misses – and this is purely price related – is tilt control, which is important for some Photoshop brushes.

If you don’t particularly care about that, the tablet is about as good as you can get. You can upgrade to a btter model as your skills improve, or grab a cheap Huion as a transitional tool.

The tablet itself is a comfortable size and feels nice in the hand even after long drawing sessions. The fabric loop to hold the stylus when not in use is awkward and not as useful as the older built-in ‘cradles’ of previous models.

The buttons sound like a good idea, but resetting them to be useful with the programs you actually use is awkward (I’m still trying to configure this, but I will suggest you disable the ‘undo’ button as it’s a bit too easy to reach and can get one in trouble).

The screen has a mild texture which makes me feel as if I’m dragging the stylus over a chalkboard, but perhaps I’ll just become used to this in time. These are all fairly minor points, and for the most part this is a fun, useful device.

The only real problem I had with this device was in the setup. When installing the device it recommends using the enclosed installation disk rather than going online and downloading the drivers yourself.

When you use the disk it takes you to the website so that you can download the drivers yourself, then gives you other options to choose, but every option you choose on the slick menu takes you to the website to -you guessed it, download things yourself.

The disk was designed to look as if it is being helpful, but as far as I can see is useless. Had I not used it at all my tablet would have been installed almost instantly and I would have known when it was working rather than waiting for the disk to do something, but this kind of customer interaction is fairly typical of Wacom.

Fun and useful tablet with a few wonky details.

I’ve been using tablets for about a decade, most of which have been manufactured by Wacom. I’ve liked most of their offerings. And their build quality is usually excellent and their tablets last a long time, even their pens and tips I’ve used for years without issues.

And this little guy is no different. I recently purchased a Intuos Draw to create animated short films, and it’s all I’ll be needing for the foreseeable future. I learned to draw using a tabletop tablet at university and though a Cintiq or other display tablets like it are very cool and super sleek, they are way out of my price range.

The Draw is all I need for animating and background work. Sure it doesn’t have pen tilt functionality but I don’t notice the difference to be frank. The drawing surface is textured and makes a sound when you draw, really giving you a more tactile experience than I’m sure even the pricey Cintiqs miss out on.

It’s no-bogus-simple design is pretty sturdy, though the function buttons I never use, and they are in an impractical spot on the tablet, for my drawing style anyway. The pen is light, but I got used to it in under a minute, and I don’t mind, feels more like a pencil than other heftier Wacom pens.

And the pen is lacking an eraser, but I never used my erasers on my old tablets anyway. Flipping the pen upside down to erase something never seemed impractical to me, when you can just push a hotkey on your keyboard to switch between the pen and eraser.

But for the price, and the size (might be a drawback for some, but I work on a Macbook), it’s a steal. Highly recommended to those who aren’t so precious about their drawing tablets and just want to make cool art.

I have been using this drawing tablet consistently for about two years now, and it has served me well. The product comes with software including Clip Studio Paint, as well as Corel Painter and Aftershot.

I am just now updating my software since my two year license expired, and I plan on continuing to use it and the tablet. Since it is affordable, especially compared to other drawing tablets, it is a good one to use if you want to make digital art without spending over $100.

The tablet itself connects via USB port and is lightweight; I have traveled with it many times and had no issue with the cords or set up. My only con for the product so far is that I broke my tablet pen in half.

Luckily, it still works just fine, though I can’t get to the extra pen nibs in the pen compartment. Admittedly, stepping on the pen was a user error, so I recommend keeping track of it and keeping it in a safe spot with your tablet.

Additionally, it would be helpful if there were clearer instructions for programming pen and tablet buttons. As expected of screenless drawing tablets, there is a learning curve with drawing as well as operating the software, but it proves worth it.

A big pro for this product is the aforementioned software. It’s not only good for drawing and painting, but can also be used for photo editing, animating, and 3D modeling. I highly recommend this product to those looking for an affordable drawing tablet.

It is an extremely versatile device and any possible negatives are largely outweighed by the benefits of a reliable device.

Got this to use with multiple programs. Sadly the program I use mostly is not compatible with this tablet, and while it isn’t their fault, it did weigh heavily into my returning of this. The only other issue I noticed since I didn’t get a lot of time using it before I returned it was the pad itself seemed a bit too oversensitive.

I tend to draw or write with the side of my hand on the paper/desk, not floating in the air. This was way too sensitive in how it responded to even my hand or anything touching it, which made it very difficult to actually use without constantly undoing mistakes.

Hopefully in the future this will be fixed as well as the compatibility issues.

The WACOM is an absolutely must have for digital artists, including graphic designers, photo retouchers. I used to spend exponentially longer retouching photos using a mouse. I can’t imagine operating without this tablet.

I find that the small size is plenty large. I wouldn’t want it to take up more desk surface than it does and most users only utilize a very small area of any tablet while using one, so I don’t see the need for a larger one.

Works perfectly with my MacBook Pro and Mac Mini. I wasn’t aware of how much it could be cusyomized to my preferences until a more advanced user recommended altering my setup and explained how she uses hers.

So I recommend finding a mentor or using YouTube tutorials to customize the controls for maximum efficiency.

Works really well. I use this for drawing and as a mouse/trackpad. I enable windows ink so I can write in search fields and don’t need a keyboard most the time. There are some instances I do but I simply created a shortcut that pinned to the taskbar so I can quickly navigate to it when needed.

I also use this with a dual monitor setup which basically divides the surface area in half one for each screen so you lose a bit of space if trying to draw in that mode; which I don’t usually do. I like dual setup when I want my main site or task open and using the smaller screen for other searches or to keep email and other notifications more visible my linked phone messages and so on.

This is a great solution if you are trying to save some money but want to tap into digital art to see if its a fit. I love it because in real life there is no undo feature and sometimes one wrong stroke ruins what you are creating and that turns into a waste of time, money, and resources which mankind will run out of eventually.

And each point on the tablet stays locked too a fixed position on your screen so you could actually create marks on the tablet if you wanted to make navigation a bit easier. You get familiar with it quicker than you may think so its not really necessary but something you could do.

I have been using mine about a month so far and I have not had to replace a nib yet. I am wondering how long one will last as its seems there is a fair amount wear so far and I wouldn’t say I am heavy handed when it comes to the pressure I apply as I try to stay aware that pressure beyond the sensitivity its designed to register only works to shorten the lifespan of the nibs and product overall.

I opted for a cheaper laptop instead of a 2 in 1 that would have tablet mode so I could draw directly on the screen which is nice but not when I need to save money. I returned the 1st laptop I had purchased and saved about $700 and I don’t regret that decision whatsoever.

One day I will opt for an actual pen display when I can splurge. Hope this helps you make an informed purchase !!.

The good, well supported product in both windows and Mac. It Pairs well with both the machines. However you can pair only one computer at any given time. The bad, usability. The pen is not well integrated to operating systems.

Especially when you want to write the notes using any note taking apps such as Notes, Notability. etc the writing is not fluid. Very hard to configure the settings of pen sensitivity. I would suggest to explore other options even though expensive, because if you want use this product you end up in spending more time with pen configuration for optimal hand writing settings and you will never achieve it.

If I were to buy this product again, I would avoid it. Sorry Wacom. this is my honest feedback.

This was my first drawing tablet, and I was worried it may have many issues, but I loved everything about the expierence. The wireless works great, no lag, as well as the pen. It feels very pleasant to draw on and the side buttons/dial are excellent too.

Had no problems with the software either. I heard it is very difficult to get used to a tablet with no screen, but I found it very natural and not difficult at all. Maybe it is the size of the tablet, or just me.

My only little complaint is the buttons don’t work when used with a phone, but it’s not a huge deal and probably is too hard to create support for all devices. Some people may find the pen too light but I like it.

Would Reccommend 10/10.

I was looking at another brand of graphics tablet when I learned about the Huion brand, and I’m so glad I chose this one. It had a significantly lower price, but it offers everything I need and makes working in Photoshop and Lightroom so much easier.

Resting it in my lap made all the difference in the amount of comfort and control I have, especially once I began using one of those 2-finger gloves that let my hand slide easily even when the room is humid.

There was a bit of an up-ramp to getting comfortable with the stylus, but it didn’t last long and now I reach for it instead of the mouse for most tasks. I like the programmable stylus buttons, so in addition to having Erase always available for photographic post work, I also can Right-click just about anywhere.

Although I do very little drawing in PS, being able to use a stylus instead of a clunky mouse for it means I will probably do more. This has become an essential tool for me.

The Drawing tablet is good build quality and the sensitivity of the pen is very precise. I am still beginner with using the tablet and I need more practice. There is one problem with the software or hardware, as it is sometimes necessary to physically plug / unplug the transmitter when using Wi – Fi connection.

The tablet is bigger than I thought and very comfortable. Overall, the product is great and price is good compare with others.

I’m not using this for it’s graphics work; I’m using it as mouse alternative and my other Wacom tablets have stopped working (thanks Wacom for stopping supporting them to force us to buy more!) and I did upgrade to the larger size over the small one and it did make a difference for my arm angle, etc.

so was it worth the gigantic price difference? My cheap self is right on the fence. I got it as a deal of the day so I’d say go for it on sale but at regular price it does hurt. Do I use it a lot? I do.

Do I wish I could get by with the small one? I do. Do I highly suggest both to help repetitive nerve pain injuries? 100% (I’m a fitness pro and recommend this to clients all the time). The tips do groove more and wear out faster than past Wacom models so I think that’s Wacom’s intentional design to make you buy more and not the user’s mistreatment.

Purchased this Wacom Intuos tablet for online teaching. Tried a document camera, and was not happy teaching using that tech, but using the drawing tablet has been great. The web based version of WebEx has no whiteboard functionality, but using the WebEx android app through my Chromebook solved that problem.

Writing on the tablet has a slight learning curve, but it becomes easy very quickly, and the results that the students see on the whiteboard within WebEx are as good as being in the classroom with them and writing on a dedicated chalkboard or whiteboard.

I thought that writing on a surface without a screen view would be suboptimal, but now after three weeks of online classes I am very glad that I didn’t spend the extra money for a tablet with a screen.

The Bluetooth connection to my Chromebook is always rock solid, a wired connection is there if that is your preference, and the battery life is excellent. This Wacom tablet was purchased for a very specific purpose, and it fulfills that purpose perfectly.

I’ve had my share of disappointing tech purchases, but this Wacom tablet has become indispensable in my daily workflow. Highly recommended.
