For the price you pay for this buggy it takes an absolute beating! Easy to drive, VERY durable and loads of fun on and off road. Radio has excellent range too! 540 size motor in a 1/12th scale!!! “Basher” in the extreme.

just look at all the youtube vids!! this thing is an animal. Upgrades are easy and cheap if you order from OS. 1st upgrade should be oil filled shocks. Nuff said. will transform everything how this car behaves.

takes away the bounciness every time you hit a bump. Next. decent LiPo battery. 35c min. 2200 Mah and double check the dimensions of the battery to make sure it’ll fit!!! The Lipo I bought. ZOP power 2200 MaH, 2S 7.

4v 35C I use, and it nudges 50kph. This embarrasses many higher end cars BTW. It’ll pull wheelies very strongly!! lol very fast performing buggy!! DO NOT get it wet. yeah little puddles are OK I guess but full on water.

It’s not water proof. you’ll fry the electrics. I’d take the spare tyre off the back to lower the C of G and not be so tumble happy. either way this thing is very rugged, gear set as standard is durable, if you’re keen you can purchase metal gears.

the choice is endless. this is a true Hobby grade car. If you love your RC cars. as I do and have everything from vintage Electric and Nitro, to current stuff as per the same. this car is a wonderful addition to any colllection.

Parts are cheap and the radio is a great setup. even for the inexperienced!! You can set the top speed!!! Seriously. you’ve read all this. just DO IT!! You won’t regret it. Just get another charger. stock one that comes in the box takes way too long.

Use the Li ion setting for the stock battery.

When you talk about RC vehicles of any kind you think the lower priced stuff just isn’t going to be any good. I can’t say that about this. It seems to be built very well and includes parts that you would find on the more expensive hobby grade cars.

Bearings throughout, metal parts in the drive train, beaded tires, a hefty 540 motor, lights, I mean, this is great! When I got it I charged up the battery and tested it indoors. It’s not going to be a car I can run indoors, that I know.

I don’t have the room. This car wants to get up and go! On the first try it pulled a wheelie and I nearly crashed it. As I got used to it I began to control it better but it’s not easy to navigate in a small house.

This car needs the wide open spaces. And once it stops raining it will go there. If you’re looking for an inexpensive RC car to have some fun with I would highly recommend it.

Steering stopped working right away but seller was quick to replace it and no problems with new one. Great buy for the price cant beat it. My son loves it! The con is the battery life, would recommend buying a bigger battery with more mah.

This is a supplement to my previous review for a more complete picture. Keeping in mind that this instrument was only 24. 00 including shipping, WITH a bridge, a bow, rosin and a nice protective case, it can pretty much be said that the violin and accessories were FREE after paying shipping cost.

That being stated, my violin arrived with the sound post having come loose and was rolling around inside – but the strings were not tuned to pitch since the owner needs to unwrap and set up the bridge, and even a fine expensive violin can release the sound post if all the strings are loose, so you can’t really call this a defect.

Also, the neck does have a very pronounced scoop (convex bow) that will need to be lessened with a little planing. Again, for 24 dollars including shipping this is to be expected. The bottom line is that it arrives in playable condition, and I don’t mind a bit doing a little work to make it play better.

Anyone who expects an instrument in this price range to be completely free of bugs is being very unrealistic. It plays, and can be made to play better with just a slight amount of handiwork. I am very happy with my purchase, and it never hurts to learn how to reset a sound post.

As long as there is a reasonably handy guy in the house, I highly recommend this instrument for a beginner, or even as a practice violin to save wear on your regular player.

The bracket is the best speedlight bracket you can get for your photography needs. The overall construction may not be the highest quality, but it is very cleverly made so that it doesn’t need to be the highest quality.

The speedlight is gripped in place very well using the easy to turn screw on top that can secure the speedlight in place with little effort. The tilt section is designed with a good grip design that has ridges.

This is great because you don’t have to tighten very hard to secure the tilt in desired position. This type of tightening screw can break if over tightened, which has happened to me with other brackets, but that shouldn’t happen with this bracket because it doesn’t require too much pressure to secure it in position.

The bracket will also sit securely on any light stand. All other brackets I have owned before will sit fine on a light stand with a flat head, but never sits well on light stands that have a screw on top.

The bracket places the head of the speedlight in the center where it belongs, this will allow the light from the flash to strike modifiers in the center and better control the light. The bracket holds the head of the speedlight instead of gripping at the base, this allows you to swivel the body of the speedlight around so that you can trigger more easily with slave, and allow you to place the body at the angle needed to easily adjust power up and down.

I don’t know of any other speedlight bracket so well thought out and as practical as this one.

Got the Gladiator 1st then had to buy the Wrangler. This is the V2 with new remote and esc. Perfect companion for Gladiator. Tips: Set the transmitter endpoints by ear. Listen to the servo when setting the dual rate.

Turn remote full left/right until servo is quite at full range. Any noise at the endpoints means the servo is trying turn the steering past its range. This will burn the servo out. Set the throttle the same way.

Click it towards reverse until you hear motor wine. Then click it forward until the motor wines. Should be about 8 clicks. Click it back 4 times for centering the throttle. I set mine back 6 clicks. 2 clicks back from neutral.

This seems to give me better slow speed control and range on both the Gladiator and the Wrangler. Do not over tighten ANYTHING on your SXC24!!! Especially the wheel nuts, steering knuckles and transmission case.

Wheels must move freely. Move wheels back and forth with finger while you tighten the wheel nut until their movement starts to become restricted. Then back off wheel nut until they move freely again.

Steering knuckles should also move freely. There should be a small gap between the steering knuckle and the axle, upper and lower. It just rides on the screws. Driveshafts need to be in sync. I do this by making sure all 4 grub screws on the drive shafts line up and face the same direction.

Do not fill axle diffs with grease. This will limit the vehicle’s performance. Use TRI Flow lube on all the bearings and use it to clean the axle shafts and worm gears. Use small amount of Lucas white lithium grease on worm gear and in cv dog bones.

Just enough to coat each surface. Remove any excess. TRI Flow on the transmission gears and bearings also improves performance. If the motor gets hot check your drive line and transmission case for over tightened bolts.

There are 6 very small clear silicone o-rings. 1 in each dog bone and 2 in each worm gear. Find them on your schematics and don’t lose them during disassembly. Buy an EMAX ES08MA II 12g Analog Metal Gear Servo.

You will want one. Buy an Injora tight tolerance steering link set. You will want one. Move front bumpers in to their closest position and clip off the excess plastic. This increases approach angle. Tape a quarter or nickel of your choice to the top of the steering servo.

Improves performance.

Purchased the JLU and couldn’t be happier. It arrived quickly and was packaged very well. While these run well for a stock vehicle, to unlock their full potential you need to change out a few items. The steering servo and linkage for starters.

The parts for these vehicles are cheap comparing to those of the larger scale. HeliDirect stocks several of the items. Order up!.

Upgrade the servo and remove the motor sticker and you have a reliable and high performing little crawler! Live mine. Few upgrades later and its awesome!

This little car is a blast. It is very fast and fun to play with. The build quality is great on it and spare parts can be obtained rather easily. The throttle speed is adjustable which is great for little ones.

Battery run time is pretty great and charges quite quickly too. Would buy again.

So I decided to upgrade my hiking gear. I heard about the canister fuel being all the rage, but I went into shock when I saw the prices. then I went to youtube and saw the cheap stove and a cheap lantern review and demonstration.

Well I ordered them and for less than the price of one name brand item, I got 2 great quality items and they perform better than expected. Do not let the low price fool you these are really good and the lantern looks really close to a name brand.

I have used them twice and I am glad I bought them. Now if someone will make a plastic case to stack or put fuel canisters in to minimize the space used in my pack.

This fixture is advertised as a color mixing fixture suitable for stage use. It is NOT. This is an effect light, the graphics depicting what this fixture can do are misleading as it is not capable of generating those images.

This light has trouble mixing colors on the beam side, it doesn’t mix at all. If you are looking for cheap stage lighting (like I was) skip this type of light (every single one of this style has the exact same construction.

) It will not perform nearly as well as you are wanting.

I decided to buy a couple cheap microphones off of eBay that were under the $5 mark. This one is a clear winner. It is USB and was Plug and play, sound quality is clear however a bit quiet compared to what my laptop’s built-in microphone can do.

Out of all the cheap microphones I bought, this is the best one. Not much popping, you don’t hear the movement of the laptop or typing through it and the movable chord is very nice. I rather prefer this over the laptops built-in microphone because it does not pick up on typing and the movements of the computer or anything around it, just your voice.

Pleasantly surprised.

Watched several videos on this truck before buying and everyone talked it up and it looked like it ran nice. Well after receiving it I charged the battery took it out for a spin, was careful to break in the brushed motor like I normally do.

Eventually hit the throttle and this thing is terribly slow!!!! Glad it was only $75. Looked for a H or L feature just to see if I’m in low, there is none. I guess it will be good for kids to play with so they won’t mess with my Traxxas Slash.

Worked awesome! Til it didn’t. Claims waterproof on the box, one run in a wet parking lot and the servo quit started twitching and quit working. If it was truly waterproof then this would be an awesome little truck.

A great value Midi Keyboard controller, Has both USB Midi and 5 pin outputs, decent keys with a pleasant feel to them, all controls well laid out and accessible plus a bold and clear LED display. No velocity on keys but difficult to beat on price AAA+++.

Very handy device. Almost no set up, and the mouse pointers accuracy is impressive. Highly recommended for casual tv watching from a computer.

Is just a bit better than an SSHD and under any serious SSD but is good performance for the price payed. I consider will add performance to any old laptop(i say that due to the interface) you wish to upgrade.

No doubt the 12429 is the best looking of the Wltoys buggy’s. Unfortunately, it has design flaws that restrict it to: a purchase for those who don’t need good performance buying to upgrade only. It has the 540 motor, which is ok, but the new 550 motor is offered in all the newer models – for good reason (much hotter performance).

It’s a slow buggy. the track is too narrow, narrower than every other buggy. it will not slide or drift, except in the loosest of surface materials, which means it will constantly tip over while running about.

this quality alone precludes having any fun with the car except admiring its looks. bashing, sliding, jumping, climbing, racing etc. will result in disappointment compared to other similarly priced cars/buggy’s/trucks.

the steering is sloppy and inaccurate, as the servo saver and steering linkage design, used on all models in this price range, is weak, easily damaged and squirrely. (a bit of grease on the servo saver bar helps!) The shocks are not oil dampened, a requirement for any rc drifter, buggy, truck etc.

Thus, the 12429 bounces all over the place and won’t jump without the rear end flipping up and over. There is a cheap mod to fix this on youtube using original shocks if you are handy. The battery compartment has been moved up high behind the cockpit and holds the battery in a sideways configuration instead of longitudinally (i.

e. with the long side stretching front to back). The sideways configuration of the battery compartment means a longer battery cannot be fitted in the compartment, even with modification. This results in 1.

A very high center of gravity, which worsens the already unacceptable tendency to tip over in turns. 2. A real difficulty plugging in the battery pack, which must be done from underneath and inside the car.

3. Lack of any floor behind the seat (this is part of how the cool look is achieved). So there’s nothing to work with to create a lower position for the battery pack. (all well designed cars have the battery pack on the floor of the chassis to improve center of gravity.

Never used one before. Needed to test all new appliances in motorhome conversion. Excellent to use in both confined spaces and open areas. Gas detection spot on when pre tested on live supply in and under vehicle(gas tank).

V. good easy to follow instructions. A1 product. D. Gardiner(Surrey).

Bought two of these after getting two of the 12428 cars. Different driving experience and good to contrast after driving 12428 for a while. More stable than 12428 and a little bit slower but just as much fun! I’ve also bought WL Toys 12402a and the Wltoys 144001 cars.

They all drive differently but all are great value.

Phenomenal price, really didnt think it would be so good at this price point. The battery provided is a basic small one and does not last very long, but you can put a 2S Lipo in it and fixate it with rubberbands easily making it faster, nippier and last for 45 mins+.

It is 1:12 but about same size as a 1:10 The plastic on it is very good, so far survived several rolls and crashes without breaking anything. It says 14 years+ but on the remote you can make it go less fast at full speed with the throttle knob so that even younger kids can enjoy playing with it.

Spacewise at full speed with 2S lipo you need at least 2 tennis courts or a baskatball court size area. One of the few China products that are actually good for the price, sure you can spend 120 on a more hobbygrade one but parts for this are all readyly available, and there’s upgrade possibilities with metal gears and Brushless motor/ESC that you could put in but for my 7 year old the 2S Lipo is more than enough for now.

Absolutely Awesome Brilliant Buddy to bash takes what ever you wish to tackle. Rocks bumps jumps or roll overs this WLtoys is worth buying as it quality at it very best. I’ve got friends with petrol RCS trucks & they brake where my Across buggy tackle it all with ease highly recommend best RC Buggy ever Ten rated.

This is one of the best “copycats” out there! It’s quick, and fairly durable. BUT, it’s not something for a kid to get, and think it’s just going to last without some maintenance and repair. Any high performance Anything requires some tinkering – and if driven hard, you’re GOING to break something! It’s a good, entry priced Buggy in the R/C World.

Like anything cheap, you’ll probably want to replace/upgrade some things. The Battery – CHUCK IT! There’s a myriad of other Batteries on the market, that will let you spend more time running, instead of charging.

Just deal with it – the Battery is junk! Getting a decent set of oil-filled shocks WILL make a world of difference in the handling! It’s far TOO bouncy stock. The motor and electronics are fairly good.

Eventually, you may want to upgrade. The front suspension has NO adjustability. Getting some CHEAP turnbuckle sets from your local Hobby Shop can fix you up. Doing that, will not only allow you to fully adjust your front suspension, but will also make it much more rigid! It’s a decent Hobby item.

This truck was lots of fun – for one day. I purchased it because of the reviews I saw online. It was thrown on the ground, run off a table, flipped on a wooden ramp and was fine. The second day I had it I accidentally ran it into some outside stairs and the left front support arm broke.

It might be a fluke accident and hit the step just right to break the plastic arm. I went to the local hobby store and they didn’t carry a replacement part. Had to send to China for it and am still waiting as it takes at least two weeks.

I hope when I get the part it performs like the ones I saw in the reviews; seemed indestructible. While it was running it was awesome – fast and great fun to use. If after I replace the arm it seems sturdy for a while, I would recommend it to others, but I’ll hold judgment till then.

Lockdown fun AND exercise. Good quality and durable car. great for novice drivers. We bought two. Comes with everything you need. We bought extra batteries for extended play. Amazing value compared to the highstreet brands.

So I “lost” my fluke t5 meter that I had for almost 15 years. I decided to try this one. Paid $59 for it all in. Almost exact replica of my fluke, but this one adds a flashlight, an EMF reader for quick live wire checks using one of the forks, a capacitance checker, a diode checker, removable cat 3 & IV insulators & comes with a case.

It will also hold both leads on the back. However, I did like that the fluke has the wires permanently attached where this one needs to be attached or won’t fit back in the case. The flukes plastic seems like it would withstand a fall better.

The readings have been accurate.

I used them for custom made instrument that requires a little more string tension than regular one. All of strings #3 have broken, not sustaining the tension. The D’Addario and GHS strings of the same type behave normally at the same place.

Of course, they cost more. Also, according to the coating colour (yellow), these strings are not phosphor bronze winded. Phosphor bronze strings have reddish colour.

The only discrepancy with this item is it is described as being maple. It is made of mahogany or something like mahogany. it is not maple. the frets and fret board look good. Despite the wood type discrepancy, this seems to be a good value.

I’ll make it work.

This truck is definitely fun, and fast. I expected it to be a little larger, and to be a bit more sturdy. It hasn’t broken so far, but the body of the truck seems very flimsy. Just thin plastic. You get a pretty decent run time out of the battery, but here’s the down side.

It has a wierd sized battery, so I have not had any luck finding additional batteries that will fit in the allotted on board battery box. I have other rc 7. 4v batteries, but they are too large to fit in the space allotted.

All the batteries that I have found are the same as the others I have from my other vehicles and won’t fit this one. If I had it to do over again, I would buy a little larger vehicle and one that offered additional batteries that would fit the vehicle.

Cannot be beat for the price. Much better built than most other “toy” grade rc cars. Completely upgradeable with metal parts and higher end electronics if desired, but runs great (with minor adjustments) right out of the box.

And did I mention, it’s FAST!!!.

Great product for the price. I’ve been copying my vhs tapes to the computer and so far its working good. I would have preferred a choice of the format I can copy to. Unless I’m missing something I can only copy to mpg and files are quite large but I can always convert them later.

There is a saved format option but I only see mpg in it. Software works great although I haven’t tried editing with it. It does edit and also burns to dvd. Overall for the price I think it does a great job.

Excellent lantern which is light and very bright. It even belches out plenty of heat so is its ideal for winter nights. It is also very good value for money being a fraction of the cost of a Primus or Coleman lantern.

I was also pleased to see it included a firm bright orange plastic box and two mantles. However, it took over 4 weeks to arrive from China and I ordered 2 units. The second one has still not arrived despite ordering it 8 weeks ago! Poor service.

Me and my grandson played with it right away, took it out and did speed runs. Amazing, highly recommend it for the price it can’t be beat.

Great budget buggy. Zippy little racer. It’s holding up well to the use of a 4 yr old. My son has been running these since he was two. So he is a pro now. Definitely would purchase again

Very good quality and very fast for this price. Highly recommend. You can tune down the speed with the remote if you have children that would like to play with it. You can make it go really really fast or really really slow.

Great hobby grade short course truck at a great Walmart price. This truck does it all, and takes a serious beating.

Pros -Fast (31 mph) -Strong (very nice gear ratio) -Beadlock tires! -Looks amazing -Cheap -LEDs Cons -Poor plastic quality (screws stripped the plastic way to easily) -Not waterproof as described (mine smoked) -Front suspension is bad.

-Grindy diffs -You can’t adjust the camber or tow (alignment was off right out of the box).

Bought two for my twin granddaughters. They love this toy. However, make it easier to insert the batteries. One car we couldn’t open the battery compartment because the screw (size of a pin head) was pushed down too far and just turned and wouldn’t open.

We had to FORCE it open and close with tape. Issue with the car stalling, lights on remote blink to indicate issue. You have to turn switch on car and remote off and back on again to fix issue, but it was continuous ( maybe every 1/2 hour).

Twins quickly figured out how to turn switches off and back on by themselves. Other than that, car was well received and pretty easy for them to maneuver. It was for their 5th birthday.

I was skeptical about the reviews of RC cars in general. I did purchase a different one prior to this and the steering was permanently off to the left. It was no name brand knock off. I could not fix it despite having a steering adjustment lever under the car.

This one has the same lever, but don’t need to use it, since the car runs perfectly straight. My daughter loves it even though she doesn’t really know how to control the movement. She just clicks forward and back and runs into walls very fast.

At some point, the car will be damaged. For a large jeep, the speed is very fast. I was expecting something more slower. Can’t complain. If you take it outside with unlimited space, you will need to run to keep up with it.

In the house, it just runs into everything at full speed.

Bought for my daughter for Christmas. I bought it late October. When she opened it and stuck all the stickers on, we went to put the batteries in and and screws holding the compartment in are all stripped and i can’t get them out at all.

So i can’t return it bc she stuck stickers on it- but it’s useless because it was CLEARLY a return to begin with.

Oh boy. We loved this little thing! It comes nicely packaged but unwraps fairly easily. Our biggest and really only complaint is how difficult it is to get the battery covers off. It took me a long time to take the screws out.

It, honestly, was a pain in the butt!! But once we got batteries in and the covers back on, this thing is pretty darn awesome! My husband played with it for a while just to try it but then we had our grandsons play with it.

It kept them amused for several hours. The truck is well built with decent sized tires, responsive steering controls and overall stood up to the abuse that a 6 year old and a 12 year old could dish out.

It is only rear wheel drive, but for kids, that’s ok. I didn’t even cringe when they were running the truck in to walls and our hot tub. My older grandson dropped the controller on the deck and a corner of it did break off, but otherwise it held up well and we’re super happy with it.

I would highly recommend it!.

I got this Sharper Image Phantom Destroyer for my daughter. I thought I was receiving a pink truck but received a black one. My daughter was okay with the black on but really wanted pink. She said it was too slow for her.

It would run differently on different flooring and we have no carpet. I think it’s okay for a first RC car.

This product is great for all ages! The colors are bright and bold and the design is fun! It goes well on almost any surface and it holds charge for long periods of time! The controls are easy to operate and it comes fully assembled! Just add batteries and your set for hours of fun! A great family toy!.

This car is awesome. I have a lot of RCs and this is my favorite. Unstopable and unbreakable. I ordered a bunch of “upgrade” replacement parts but so far havent needed them – it just wont break (other than the lights on top) only things youll need are extra batteries and make sure you get a heat sink for the motor.

great little tool to add that professional touch to your motorcycle wiring , which I bought it for. Best to test it on some old pieces of wire and fittings before you try on the job in hand as it can be a little fiddley then you will get the feel for it and what it can do for you.

I will never go back to those ugly dangerous blue crimping connectors again after using this.

Straight off, if you purchase the Traxxas Hoss expect to have to upgrade both front and rear CVs to metal because the plastic ones will break, quick. On top of that the only metal CV’s that I’ve found that will last more than 20 minutes are the Traxxas brand, which WILL COST YOU around A THIRD OF THE TOTAL RC RETAIL PRICE.

I have watched other videos where people bought the Hoss, and they also had to replace the CV’s within just a couple drives. THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM so I don’t think its acceptable for the manufacturer to supply parts that are known to break when you use a feature they designed.

I have broken 6 CV’s so far and 4 of them broke when I used self righting mode(the others broke when I gave it full throttle up hill). Besides this the car is virtually indestructible which is why I still gave it 2 stars (although it does like to roll over).

Bottom line is you are going to have to spend another hundred-fifty in order to have it be a reliable RC.

Alright, well. I bought it on 5/25/22. Used it for not even a full 5000 mah battery on 5/26/22 before the motor started cogging and overheating. I’m not even talking bashing, I was just getting a feel for it.

Took it to my local hobby shop to take a look and they said the moment they powered it on the motor and esc got so hot it went into overheat protection. Contacted Traxxas for warranty since it wasn’t even 24 hours until it catastrophically failed.

Well it’s 6/10/22 as I write this and I’m still waiting for the replacement parts. All I can say is it’s the first RC purchase that I’ve been incredibly disappointed with. $500 to use it for less than an hour and be waiting over a month for parts.

If you’re looking at a Hoss, I’d honestly spend the extra and get a Maxx, or go with a different company. It was fun, but not $500 for 45 minutes levels of fun.

Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve EVER dealt with. I purchased this for my son. The rear tire hub broke after 10 mins of use. They said it never happens and they’re surprised. They shipped a new part.

We fixed it and after 10 mins of he same day the gears in the motor break. WTH. I ship it back they fix it AGAIN with plastic gears after I asked to replace with metal. Get it back and the same day the front axle breaks in half.

CS told me i should’ve bought the metal parts instead. I said I paid $500 how about you building a better product and stop blaming the customer. THEY CLERLY Don’t stand behind their products. The CSR told me it was my son’s driving style and not the design of the parts.

I asked if he’d ever watch their videos of how rugged it was. What a JOKE! I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone EVER.
