20 Best Women’S Construction Boots (2022 Updated)

These are by far the best womens work boots I’ve ever owned. The are very, very light weight compared to my Keens which were very heavy. I am on my feet 12+ hours a day and am by no means easy on boots.

I’m on concrete, climbing silos and am by no means easy on boots. The don’t make my feet hot and sweaty either. From day one it was like they were made for my feet!! My only “complaint” is they don’t have these in a darker color!! The only cowboy boots I wear are Ariats, I have no idea why it’s taken me soo long to try their work boots but I will never buy anything but Ariats from here on out!! Run don’t walk to get these!! They also fit true to size and I couldn’t be happier!!.

These are solid boots. True to size with a high, roomy safety toe that has survived a number of bad impacts and crushes. They were comfy straight out of the box. Cuter than most work boots, the panels are stitched together instead of glued, which means fewer points of failure to start splitting at.

The whipstitch accent on the ankle and thread around the front sole of the boot is wearing away a bit after 6 months. The leather has raw edge accents and is a bit textured, I was worried how it would hold up, but has so far been easy to take care of and looks nice.

For 3 years I worked in the restaurant business, invested in the best shoes I could wear and my feet hurt so bad. Daily! To the point I could barely walk some mornings. I moved into the construction business, wore an old pair of wrists that I had had for horse farm.

Wore them out till the sole was slick. Purchased these boots. And they are just as awesome. My feet issues are gone. Very comfortable and not too heavy. Will purchase again when the time comes.

I bought my first pair of these ago after immense research but truly never working in an industrial environment. I kid you not my first day on the job after working 30 hours straight during fueling ops, my feet didn’t even hurt.

I love these boots. They are durable, perfect for people with narrow feet and the really do protect your foot. My boots managed to last me 8 months working 10-12 hours consistently on my feet, and kept me comfortable the entire time.

I recommend these boots to everyone whose feet are narrow like mine. I have even recommended these to my male counterparts and they like them as well. For the price, the comfort, the support and the WATERPROOFNESS of these boots, you cannot get much better.

These are a STEAL. If caterpillar ever stopped making these I would buy 10 pairs to last me long enough to find a boot I’m equally passionate about. Usually I would buy a 9 but I always size up to a 9.

This is a pretty nice work boot, they are comfortable and weren’t super uncomfortable to break in which is a plus. They are about a half of a size too big. I usually wear and 8 1/2, so thats what size I bought but I noticed after wearing them that they are a bit big on me.

I’ve already worn them so too late to exchange them. I recommend making sure they are the exact size you want before wearing, but other than that, not problems.

In the last 2 years I’ve had 4 pairs of these boots. 2 pair I purchased using my company’s work shoe allowance, and 2 pair I’ve purchased with my own money. I’ve work at my company for over 32 years.

Prior to finding and purchasing my first pair of the Georgia Giant G6374, I was a Doc Marten Boot fan. The ‘break in’ time on the Doc Marten’s was substantial but once you broke them in, they lasted a long time.

On average, about two years of good use in an industrial environment. In comparison, now that I’m at the end of my 4th pair of these Georgia Giants, I’ve only gotten about 6 months before I’m walking around in them with a hole in the sole.

This is really unacceptable for an industrial steel toed work boot. The only reason I’ve continued to purchase them and given them a 3-star rating and not a worse rating is because they are sooooooooo comfortable right out of the box.

Man, they fit and walk like I’ve got New Balance walking shoes on or something. Very, very comfortable immediately upon first wear. I just wish the sole would last longer!.

Very high quality and high value. Better as a work boot than a hiking boot because the edge of the sole sticks out a bit. Review after 1 month and worn several times in snow. These are not stated to be waterproof, but I suspect with waterproofing applications they should be water resistant.

Of note, these are not insulated and do not have an inner layer of padding inside the leather upper. Mine fit true to size with enough room for thick hunting socks. One minor issue, the tongue of under the laces should be about 1/2 inch longer.

It is just long enough to stay under the laces, but in hard use I could see the tongue slipping down exposing shin to laces.

I have been impressed with these since the moment I first tried them on. I was worried that ordering online might be a hassle and that the fit could be off. Mine were true to size and I really appreciate that the toe box is roomy and the width correct.

I don’t have any pressure points or hot spots when lacing up or wearing them. I will say that the second hook grommets are much farther back than any boot I’ve had before and I find myself skipping them.

Even so, they are secure and comfortable and the I haven’t even really needed a break in period because the leather has been supple enough from the start. I have several weeks wearing them and I am impressed with how comfortable they are even at the end of a long day on my feet.

I can’t see buying anything else in a few years when I eventually wear these out.

I bought these in a hurry because they were required for a job. I had little expectations and was prepared to be disappointed. I have to say that these are one of the most comfortable boots I have ever owned.

I work all day in them and could continue to wear them all night. They are also lightweight and keep me warm. I’m definitely going to buy another pair to have on hand when these wear out.

I have been looking for a true wide width for women and they just don’t seem to get the concept of what ‘wide’ actually is. They advertise the width as “W” but they are closer to a medium. As a result of all that I have bought and returned numerous boots.

The manufacturers of women’s boots need to realize that women also work in fields that require a good hard working boot, one that doesn’t compromise on comfort and fit, and then they need to step up and make some much needed design changes! I know these are labeled ‘men’s’ shoes but being fed up with the options for available for women I decided to try these out.

After reading the male reviews on this boot I just had to give them a go and I AM SO GLAD I DID!!! The fit was perfect with plenty of room to wiggle your toes around and even enough room to add gel insoles if you choose to, although they are quite comfy without them! I am on my feet all day, walking/working on concrete, gravel, mud and dirt and any mixture in between and these boots are great! I also love the composite toe because they are so light weight you don’t even know you are wearing a safety toed boot.

I just can’t say enough good things about them and I know that I have found my ‘forever’ boot :)). I wear a woman’s size 6 1/2 W and the men’s size 5 was perfect! Thank you Rockport for making a small enough man’s size to accommodate a small woman’s foot!.

I wore this shoe for 2-1/2 years nearly 6 days a week as a mail carrier. Always gave me great protection and always felt secure in them (very sturdy shoe). It is comfortable, with some adjustments (added sole inserts shortly after buying and just before buying my 2nd pair this month, I added a 2nd pair of socks).

Been wearing my new pair about a week with no adjustments at all. They take a bit of breaking in, but are doing so very well. I highly recommend this shoe if you are on your feet all day and move around alot.

I’ve experienced torn tendons and sprains prior to buying this shoe. Since my purchase my feet/ankles have been well protected. Didn’t think too long about buying a new pair when after 2. 5 years the stitching gave way and the rubber sole was losing the rubber.

I purchased these for my boyfriend who is on his feet all day. He says they’re comfy and well made. He wore them once with low ankle socks, and the lining inside rubbed the wrong way and hurt, so he only wears tall socks with them now and all is good.

His very first comment when he opened the box was they they looked designed for comfort–far better than the cheaper pair he purchased for himself elsewhere. The steel toe in this pair leaves appropriate room around his toes and does not dig in.

I have been wearing these boots daily for a month. They feel like a good quality Justin, like they used to make in the USA. They are heavier than the justin gypsy boots, and taller. Since I have been wearing the gypsy for about 3 years, it took a while to get used to the weight and the tops of the boot rubbed on my calves.

After a month they feel normal, except that these boots are loose in the foot. I am easy on shoes and my Justin boots usually last around 3 years, if I put new inserts in them annually. The support system is great – but I know it will break down, I wish Justin sold the orthotic inserts for their boots.

They seem to be holding up great, the color is a nice chocolate brown. They are waterproof so far, and have traction in the snow/ice. I would give these boots 5 stars all the way, except for the loose fit in the foot.

I like a tighter fit as I walk a lot in rocky areas, and I like a tighter boot around the horses. These are good for everyday wear. Comfort: 4 Durability: 4.

Every morning I take off my Dear Foam slippers, and can’t wait to step into these amazing boots!!! They keep my feet safe (broken foot 4x), dry, and free from the foot pain I suffer in other shoes/boots.

They last me about 8mos. I wear them every day cleaning stalls, washing horses, and do nothing to further protect them. I wash at least 4 horses a day in them. That’s a lot of water. My husband tells me to put on rubber boots to save these.

NO WAY! They are safe and so comfortable. This horse girl of 50+ years has worn a lot of boots. These are the best for me. And no, the steel toe doesn’t make them heavy. How was that for a review? #StraightFromTheHeart.

Runs a little small but I just got them so we will see how they break in. Love the color and design. Just a big fan of Justin boots. I purchased two different designs- this pair is waterproof so I will see overtime how they hold up.

I was very hesitant to order these shoes online as I have a very hard time finding safety shoes that are wide enough for my feet. After reading all of the previous reviews on these I took a chance & went ahead & ordered them.

I am very happy with my decision. These shoes are very comfortable! Plenty of room & no rubbing in the toe area. As long as they hold up to the wear and tear at work I will definitely buy again.

okay for the price; had prior pair which, with regular use under expected conditions lasted only about 6 months, and I expect the same from these, so I got two pair. Prior set was sized without indication of width; these new pair were ordered as “EE.

” When product arrived, outside box stated “EE” but w width printed in tongue wasn’t indicated, and “EE” boot was exact same sized/dimension as prior non-EE pair.

I want to give these a one and five. I’ve used these boots for years doing audio, video and lighting. I walked on average 10 miles a gig. My man just started using them and he’s a landscaper. We both love how light weight and comfy they are when on your feet from 8-16hours a day.

But I have to buy 2 pairs a year and he goes through a pair every two months. I wish they lasted a bit longer is all. Is there any warranty or guarantee on these things? I can’t find anything anywhere.

And why don’t they have steel toe for us ladies? We do dangerous work too!.

These Wolverines are a strong boot and seem to be made very well, and are very sturdy. However I do have some comfort issues when wearing them on a daily basis. I’ve used them for about two weeks, and they certainly feel “more-comfortable” as they continue to break-in.

however, they are not comfortable out-of-the-box, whatsoever. Not on my feet anyways. The main issue for me is that the boots are very loose-fitting for their listed size, even for a work boot (understanding that many boots are somewhat oversized to allow for work-appropriate socks and winter socks).

Adding aftermarket insoles helped tremendously, stacked in-addition to the existing insoles. The secondary concern I have is stiffer sections of the inner material rubbing against the top of my foot in two separate places.

I’m hoping continued usage/break-in alleviates that problem. My father had a pair of these exact boots just about a year ago, and had the same issues as I do – Very stiff at some internal points, and simply not very comfortable to begin.

I can’t recommend avoiding them nor favoring them, as the price is LOW enough that you will likely get the USAGE you need from them as they are sturdy and seem built-to-last, yet price is HIGH enough that I wonder why there isn’t more emphasis on COMFORT.

I probably wouldn’t repurchase.

I bought these to replace some older work boots I had, only wore these for about three weeks before I couldn’t any longer. They’re very durable and have held up to a great amount of abuse in the few weeks they were worn, however they were extremely uncomfortable on my feet.

The start of the steel toe rubs against the side and top of my foot, and they were very loose to fit. Many uncomfortable rubbing points, and something about them made my entire feet sore into my ankles.

These started destroying my feet within the first few hours of use, and although they felt better as they began to break-in, they still never softened enough to convince me to continue daily-use. I’ve been wearing various work boots with steel toe since before I was ten years-old.

I originally bought these because I remembered that my father also had a pair of these exact boots about two years ago, however I did not remember that he was not very impressed with the fit of the boots, at all.

They’ll surely be used again at some point, but I can’t use them on a daily basis or for extended periods of time. I work nearly 12 hour shifts in warehouse and these simply won’t work for that, not for me.

I have purchased these boots twice. I am overall satisfied with the comfort, weight, and features provided by these boots. The only thing that I feel could be improved upon is the quality. This is not to say that they are of poor quality, because like I said, I’ve purchased them twice.

I work twelve our days in an industrial environment and these boots definitely allowed my feet to be not just protected, but remain comfortable throughout the day. I was surprised to find that they had many of the features that are usually only received in boots that are much higher in price.

The reason I stated that the quality could be improved upon is simply for the fact that I have had this last pair for almost a year, to the day, and the waterproof feature, that I thought was their best attribute, has run its course.

The part of the boot where the sole meets the side of the boot, right where the ball of my foot is, has failed and is allowing water to get in. Since it is deep in the boot it also prevents it from drying quickly.

Now, I understand that this is something that can be attributed to normal wear and tear, which is why I have said that the boot is overall the best bang for your buck. If you’re looking for a good boot that you won’t have to worry about breaking in for an extended amount of time, or a boot that is on the less expensive side while still providing the characteristics of a higher end boot, then this is a great boot to pull the trigger on.

I bought these boots thinking I’ll give it a go. Every womens work boot I have ever bought were clunky or were to big or way to small. Or felt like they made for a guy not a women But these. wow fit like they were made just for my feet.

Sooo comfortable. Not clunky at all. The cushion in the soles I could be on my feet all day working. Water proof I can stump around in the rain/puddle and have dry feet all day. Can’t wait until it snow to see how well insulated they are.

The steal toe is a plus. adds a little weight but hardly noticeable once you wear them for 10 seconds. The look of the boot is nice. not a bulky look. Slim/sleek looking like a womens boot. I definitely recommend them for any women looking for a good work boot.

Great boots. I’ve been wearing these for a couple weeks now. It only took a day or two to break them in. Wide width is a good fit for those of us who need it. I work around a lot of chemicals and oil, so I needed something that wasn’t going to slide around.

I haven’t had any issues with that. I highly recommend the boots, and I really like the way they look.

Love my Chippewa steel toe boots. I will never wear them out. I think that they are the best boots I have ever wore. I work with Disaster Relief clean up and work 12 hrs a day on my feet. My boots are the best investment for safety and comfort.

The shoe meets size requirements. The fit could be improved. The top of the foot fit is a bit lacking, the tongue is too thin and allows for the laces to cut into the top of the foot. I also find it hard to tighten the boot around the ankle because the tongue restricts the side from closing.

The oversized leather label on the tongue restricts movement. So my ankle does not feel as supported as I would like it to be.

Bought these for work in the Pacific Northwest. Wet and cold all winter. Bought them a size large so I could wear extra socks. They arrived fast! They were very tight! Sent them back planning to order again.

Took a long time to get my return processed. Decided to buy next pair elsewhere.

This is the first time I have ever ordered work boots. I bought my usual size of 7 1/2 medium and the boots were too big. Going down to a 7 seems to be just right. I haven’t put them to the test out in the woods, but I am confident they will do the job.

Nice looking and well constructed from what I can tell. Customer service was very helpful and no long menus to get to them.

Give it some time for them to feel more comfortable to wear as you would for any other boot. They look great and feel great & they do the job. I like the ease of slipping them on and off as needed. Wore mine camping in the rain and kept my feet dry.

They did get quite dirty but I gave them a quick wipe over with a damp cloth when I got home and they look like new again. I believe there is special cleaner you can buy if you needed to. I bought online so I was initially worried about the fit , but they were the same as any other shoe sizing.

I guess if you’re wearing thick work socks it might make a difference perhaps. Overall I really like them and they will last ages as I won’t need wear them everyday. Fast delivery too as I ordered right before Christmas during Covid delays.

I was actually surprised. I haven’t needed to deal with customer service, but I read it was an easy swap or exchange if they were the wrong size.

Awesome work boots. A couple of weeks ago my foot got run over by a fork lift and these boots literally saved me. My boot was wrecked but my foot was fine. My new pair arrived within 24 hours! They certainly do the job!.

I originally purchased another pair of boots (Wolv) from Boot World. Before wearing them to work I decided that based on reviews and overall brand I wanted these, so I swapped them out. In general, I would say I regret it.

I never had the chance to work in the other boots but don’t know how they would be worse. I can hardly wear these boots, but am forcing myself to because I don’t want to spend another $100-150 and toss these.

The “reinforced heel” rubs like no other against both my ankles causing blisters almost daily. The toebox is very tight and my big toe and pinky toe also typically have blisters. On my left foot, the “knuckle” of my middle toe rubs the steel toe causing a sore that has yet to heal since the first day wearing them.

I likely will not be purchasing another pair of Ariats. The only reason for not giving them one star is that they do look nice. If you plan on wearing them down the runway instead of to work everyday then these are your boots.

This is my second pair of work boots from Ariat, and this different style is great. I have worn work boots for over 35 years on concrete floors, and this is why. Comfort from the start, all weather, they last me personally about an year anyway, and my feet don’t hurt.

Wore the Pro series by another brand for decades. But had problems the last few years. So far Ariat have done me personally well. Even got a coworker now wearing them. After about an year they wear down, treads about gone, they become my garden/yard work boots.

I get about two more years before they then fall apart.

These boots are very comfortable, lighter than expected, and are standing up to regular farm use. I did try these boots on in several sizes before settling on a slightly larger and wider size than I wear in say athletic shoes.

But that is not uncommon for steel toes, which I’ve been wearing for over 40 years. Critics of these boots being uncomfortable may want to try a different size and realize if you don’t always wear work boots, your feet may need to become accustomed to a larger, heavier shoe that laces higher.

These aren’t high top sneakers, they’re wok boots. That said, for work boots, these are very comfortable on day one.

I’d like to know what material the boot is made of. I bought this same boot a couple years ago and the quality was so much higher then. That’s why I bought them again but they are not the same. Had to return it and will be going with a different manufacturer because this boot felt like I was walking in PVC pipe.

Felt like it was made out of thick plastic. Not happy with the quality.

The toe is not as pointed round as it looks in the picture it is a very wide round toe. (I am picky about my toe, has to be pointy round and not square or wide round) The brown is a darker brown than is shown in the picture.

I looked high and low for a boot like in the picture and I got slightly different then expected. Shoe works fine, but wouldn’t have spent the money if I’d known it wasn’t what it looked like as I am very picky with my boots.

I’ve faithfully bought Ariats for 20 years. It’s the only boot I’ll buy. I finally ordered online. I wanted a female work boot. None of the local bootsores had the women’s work boots. I hesitated buying online only due to size issues.

Free shipping and free returns. What could I lose? Time, lots of time. I needed boots. They were over 1 size off. Way too big. I sent them back over a month ago. Still yet to be refunded. In the meantime I went and bought a men’s work boot that fits.

So I paid for two pairs and only have one pair of boots.

I bought my first pair of these 2. 5 years ago and wear them every work day and LOVE them. Seriously so comfortable and the zipper is amazing. I am off to buy a new pair of the same shoe because it was everything I wanted in a work boot.

The Good = they look nice, they are comfortable, break-in period is excellent in my opinion as it is almost nonexistent, price is reasonable, the materials seem decent, the customer service is ok. The Bad = claim to be as high quality as the $200+ boots (not in my opinion), came with defects (stitched in a bind between the sole and boot creating a gap for water to get in and grow with use obviously).

They offered to replaced them, so I’ll give them credit, however they did not offer to replace the leather conditioner I used on them. My options were: A. )they expected me to purchase a new pair and not get refunded until they received the ones that previously arrived damaged, or B.

) send them back, wait for exchange approval, then send me the replacement boots. (They said this is because others have received the replacement boots and not returned their original pair, so I get it, but it still stinks for people who are honest) These boots fit different than most and it is a little odd getting used to it, its seems like they are roomier up and down but not so much side to side.

Once you get used to it, its not bad necessarily. If you order the unlined and wear white socks, they will stain them for a while. Overall = If you want a decent boot for a decent price, grab a pair.

If you want a high quality boot with no defects, buy a well-known American made brand and pay $50 to $150 more. These boots are not a bad value at all, but the fact that I as the consumer have to suffer due to a factory defect and quality control, I won’t return as a customer.

They could have won me for life had they made the return process hassle free, but lost me due to that. There are definitely other brands at and around this price point with similar quality. You won’t find a boot at this price point that outshines them much, but that is purely opinion and experience based per the individual.

I appreciate the ideology, but the advertising oversold the quality a tad.

There’s nothing really “wrong” with these boots. But after all of the 5 star reviews I read through I was expecting these to be some sort of next level in comfort or long lasting wear. Took about a half a day to break in and walking/standing comfort is good as of now (1 week in).

The laces are fairly lame. They loosen up throughout the day and certainly are far from heavy duty. I find myself having to tie them 3-4 times a day or walking around with floppy boots. If you wear low rise socks, several hot spots along the top edge of the boots on the inside.

I swapped to longer socks to have some more comfort but in the summer I like to be as cool as possible with shorter socks. These may wear down over time and become more comfortable but after two days of low socks it was wearing my leg raw.

Speaking of hot, these will be good in cooler weather but super hot in the summer time. I wish they made an unlined version, with safety toe. Seems like a lot of other reviewers had similar feelings.

The tread doesn’t really hold dirt, which I think may be the best feature of these. I think it’s partially because the tread depth is so little, 1/16″ to 3/32″. Not sure how these will work once winter or muddier conditions arrive.

A few people have mentioned they look good, which I will agree with. Overall they so far are a decent boot, but I’m no ‘wow’ factor in my opinion. If they hold up well, I may buy another pair or try something else.

For the last 10 years I have worn the same boots. Last fall I ordered a new pair of the same brand and style and to my surprise the quality was no longer there. Not sure if it is due to the current way of the world but no excuses, I needed to find another to replace the old.

My IG was flooded with Brunt ads. I was annoyed at first but then I started to pay attention to them. I noticed was they were about and figured I would give them a try. First thought upon receiving them, they looked very nice and well constructed.

First wear I did not like them. I have had to tell myself several times that I have to give them a chance. (I am a boot snob and I don’t like change) Issues. 1. The tongue of the boot is shorter than the ankle of the boot.

SO when you tie the boot tight the laces are now cutting into your ankle just above the tongue. This is a big issue. 2. Why is the upper tongue and upper ankle insulated (or padded) and waterproof? The tongue and boot split half way down your foot so it is pointless and makes it annoyingly uncomfortable.

The ankle of your boot should be flexible yet supportive. Like I stated above I wear my boots tight, with this upper part of the boot built like this it is dang near impossible to get them tight. I now have to re-tie my boot several times a day to keep them tight.

3. The laces. oh boy the laces. The very first time I laced up these boots I dang near punched myself in the face when the lace broke! THE VERY FIRST TIME!!! I removed the laces and put the laces from the old boot company in them.

Pros. 1. The foot bed is way comfortable! 2. The sole construction and traction is great. 3. They are fantastic looking boots! I went from Timberland PRO® Barstow 6″ alloy toe which used to feel like clouds on my feet to now like 2X4 strapped to my foot.

I would order a pair every other year so each pair would last me 2 years. I didn’t 4 months of comfort this time, the boots still look new, matter of fact the last 2 pair still look new but the foot bed was so uncomfortable I could stand it any longer.

The Brunt Marin Comp Toe seems so far to be a good boot. As of right now I do not see myself buying another pair unless the construction changes in the ankle area. It just feels super restricted and actually hurts when trying to bend down to work.

Shipping was crazy fast! I hope to see some changes or maybe another style with a slimmer ankle in the future. Here’s to the future!! @clarkboyzdad.
