20 Best Women’S Cruiser Bike (2022 Updated)

I love the Schwinn cruiser it reminds me of back in the days when i was young. Yes i would recommend it to anyone who just wants a comfortable bicycle ride. I ride the cruiser all over my neighborhood and to the park.

Its a bicycle thats worth every penny. Verry affordable Im happy with the purchase.

This storage bag is perfect for storing our garden cushions for all our garden furniture. Would recommend.

Despite a few day hold up in the delivery, bike was easy to set up and my daughter really happy riding it!

Overall I like the way the bike rides. It is easy to pedal, even uphill. But I hate the color! It is NOT the same pink as in the picture. It is closer to lavender than pink. I should have traded it out when I picked it up, really wishing I had.

Bought this bike 2 months ago for my wife’s Birthday. She loved it! Classic style and colors were perfect. The quality and customer service provided was excellent. Will be looking soon to upgrade the kids bikes as well!.

Bought this for my daughter and she loves it. She wanted a purple beach cruiser and this one fit the bill perfectly. The beach bikes crew have been very up front and helpful if needed. I would certainly recommend this bike and seller to anyone.

Bought my 500W 7 Speed Electric Beach Cruiser about a year ago. I like the concept of ease on the knees, and the electric bike for Northern Californian hills. It’s been fantastic. I ride nearly every day to work, and now that gas is about $400 a gallon, it’s been a HUGE savings for our family.

Battery lasts about a day’s worth longer if I ride on one speed setting less. So in all, I get about 12 miles per charge in these hills, which isn’t terrible. Battery is still running constantly after a year of nearly daily use.

The brakes are the hardest part for replacement/setting namely because the rear tire has the motor. The size of the motor makes adjusting brake tightness quite difficult. The other thing to consider is the overall weight distribution.

Most E-bikes have the battery more to the front/center, which makes the bike better balanced. I bought this one because the bike doesn’t LOOK like an e-bike, and makes it less likely for theft (worked so far).

However, it is quite heavy in the rear. But, with a cruiser mindset, it’s meant for flatter terrain like SoCal. I also took a Topeak Quick MTX track bag and mount and converted it to fit the pre-established rear cover.

Basically, I took off the wheel fastener’s from the metal bracket, leaving only the sliding top mount, and then zip tied the remaining flat piece to the pre-installed battery mount. It allows me to have paniers, a large carrier, and still appear to be a regular cruiser.

I have not yet had issue going up/down 4-5% grade hills, which was my only concern going into purchasing this bike.

We ordered two sixthreezero “Around the Block” cruisers (24” and a 26”, 3-speeds) to keep at our parents’ house in sunny Florida. The bikes look very sharp in navy and matte black. Even though they showed as PreOrder when we placed the order on their website, they shipped quick and showed up in just 7-8 days! Assembly was largely problem-free with one exception: the corner of one of the boxes had a small hole in it which allowed the bolt for the seat clamp to escape.

Since time was of the essence, we just picked up a new bolt from the hardware store. (The “tool” they provide in the box suffices, but just barely really. I’d recommend pulling out some real tools — hex keys, crescent wrench, ideally pedal wrench — if you have them.

) Having 3-speeds is really nice for the occasional small hill (or wind in our face) or when a bit of extra speed is wanted. We didn’t install the racks right away, but probably will in the future. The ride is *very* smooth and cushiony.

Nice! These bikes look and feel quality, and are perfect for popping over to the pool or for lazy rides to nowhere in particular.

I purchased an Around the Block, 7-speed bike for my wife. I have to say that it was a great choice for her. I wasn’t scared of the fact that you have to assemble the bike but was dreading the process.

I have to say that the entire assembly procedure was easy. Much of the bike is preassembled. The accompanying assembly booklet is well organized and instructions are very clear on what to do and pointing out the pitfalls to watch out for with certain steps.

But I found the online assembly video most helpful, being able to listen to and see the step as it was being done. Being able to stop the video and complete the step was very helpful. All in all, assembly was a piece of cake! Quality: first rate construction.

Comfort: my wife loves the bike and how it feels. Color choices: very cool! It’s very comfortable on long rides. The 7 speeds come in handy for hills. Shifting is a breeze, very smooth and quick. I would highly recommend this company for any of its products!.

Bought it for my son a month ago, and he loves it. The designers got the retro cool look downpat, even the glossy paint finish looks custom. Weird thing is that the front basket is impossible to assemble to handlebars, and is an unusual design flaw.

Customer service was great but the basket remains impossible to fasten to bike. Strange. Would love to see Huffy offer aftermarket accessories for this bike. We are still really happy with the bike and company.

It’s a nice bike. A tank for sure. Great for local leisure riding. Not gonna break any land speed records as this bike is a bit heavy and cumbersome compared to the sleeker multi purpose bikes out there.

But all in all it’s ok and your buying this type of bike for nice leisure riding. The add ons are nice and the bike is nice looking. Prob $100 too expensive when bought directly from Huffy and that’s based upon a lot of personal research.

I had it assembled by local bike dealer for $50. Well worth it for me. Comes in a box and all parts were there and protected well. It’s not hard to assemble yourself but a bike dealer can make subtle adjustments and have the proper parts and tools around to make any modifications.

My dealer said components are average across the board but he said everything was in the box and it’s a decent bike for tooling around. I’m 5’11” and have the seat up to maximum height and thank God it rides comfortably at that height.

Somebody taller than me won’t be able to raise the seat higher to get the leg extension for a comfortable ride, so keep that in mind. I found Huffy customer service to be excellent for what it’s worth.

I received the bike in a box with parts coming through the sides of it. I found the front fender had a large dent the rear was bent. The frame had deep scratches all over it. It had the brackets mounted backwards, missing screws, and one of the pedals screws where smashed so I had to file the threads to make it work.

I contacted the company. With it being to late to get a replacement bike. I’m now stuck with it. They offered a 15 percent discount. Witch I’m not happy with at all. So I’m stuck with a crashed bike for my daughter’s birthday.

Nice looking bike . I took it out for a spin today . I noticed some scratches and abrasions in the paint when I was assembling the bike , probably from shipping . that’s why it didn’t get five stars .

The instructions are not very specific. I had to figure out how to put the front Springer fork and fender all on the same wheel peg. It was not easy. And it took forever. But it is a beautiful cruiser.

And a quality bicycle. The saddle is comfortable and pretty too.

I have been riding a Burnett bike. I love the bike sitting lower. I am able adjust my feet to extend fully for the pedals and have much needed support/stability for my feet when stopped. While I have rear baskets preventing me from easily moving my leg over the seat, the lower frame would allow much easier mounting that way.

I like the crossbar sloping down more for my Huffy so than my old Burnett. This makes it much easier stepping through and off the Huffy. The bike/fenders all were very sound. I perhaps felt a somewhat lower gear ratio on the huffy, perhaps making going uphill ever slightly easier, not sure.

Oh, lol; it may be good for those writing instructions for assembly to 1, inform the customer the left pedal thread is “left hand” or turn to left to tighten. 2. Inform the customer how new tubes may need to be filled less than optimum at first and ridden a short while to keep tube from bulging the tire out.

I bought this for my daughter (Christmas 2021). At first, she loved it. However, last night on our ride I noticed a clicking noise when she peddled. Later in the night, I found the noise coming from the hub so I took it apart and found almost no grease in the hub.

So I cleaned it, greased it, and reassembled. Its a little better but still a little noisy. I am concerned there is permanent damage and the cost of a hub will be greater than the entire bike. Its a pity she only rode it regularly for about a week now.

I bought both a 26″ 7-speed and 24″ 3-speed Urban lady for my daughters. No issue with the 24″. I think the 26″ may have been a refurbished item. When I received it, the front brake was not assembled and since there were no directions on brake assembly (not just adjustment) I assume it wasn’t supposed to be that way.

I also noticed that on the 24″ there was a removable plastic film over the gear indicator. That was not present on the 26″ gear indicator. Plus there were some light scratches on the underside of the gear selector knob.

Also, the gear selector knob took much more effort to downshift than I expected and what is required on the 24″. Not impossible to shift, and it seems to shift smoothly, just takes much more effort and a bit of a nuisance.

On the 26″ 7-speed, I was unimpressed with the brake and wheel. The front wheel seemed not quite truly round which made the wheel stick to the brake. It took a lot of fiddling with the brake to get it acceptable.

The 24″ bike was no problem and is just fine. I’m glad I have both to compare to one another which makes me think the 26″ was a refurb.

I gave this 4 stars because although the weight limit is 350, the seat that comes with it does not hold that much weight. The springs are not firm enough and makes the seat basically fold backwards making you feel like the seat will break.

The bike came well packaged and with no scratches. You will need several tools to put the bike together. The baby blue color is nicer in person and is a bit darker than what you would think baby blue would be.

It is a pretty bike. I recommend this model, but with an aftermarket seat.

I bought this bicycle because of the weight capacity. I really enjoy this bicycle but before the 2 weeks of owning this, I started having problems. The 7 speed would shift up but down shifting, it would jump gears.

Started on a 2 mile ride yesterday and the gears started jumping then I had no gears or chain. The chain came apart. So I’m not happy. We contacted firmstrong and they said to take the bicycle to a bike shop and have it repaired.

They said they would reimburse us the repair amount. So, we shall see.

I bought this jacket mid-October after doing some research on the Fjallraven Raven M jacket. It’s a well made jacket with tough stitching and durable zippers/buttons. This jacket is a shell type jacket meant for going over a sweater in the winter.

They’re sized a bit bigger than normal so where I usually fit an XL I ordered a L and it fit perfectly, I’m 5’10 at 190lbs with broad shoulders. The jacket is a bit pricey but you’re getting a top shelf jacket for what you pay.

It has a semi-tailored look and looks great as well! It’s tough to find Fjallraven in Western Canada so I ordered from Mountain Steals and the shipping was speedy and the customer service reps were very helpful! Would recommend ordering this jacket from Mountain Steals 10/10.

Purchased in Matte Red. Single speed gets me around town or up and down the hard pack beach. Comfortable saddle. Bike arrived in perfect condition due to solid packaging. Easy assembly of front wheel, handle bars, saddle and pedals.

Purchased from another source white fenders, a red basket, and red cup holder, all of which add to the appearance and functionality. Expect several years of cruising enjoyment from my new Firmstrong Urban bike.

I am incredibly satisfied with my Firmstrong purchase! The bike for one is absolutely stunning. It turned out better than I envisioned and the matte brown really has a gorgeous shine to it. More than thankful to receive a tool kit for the bike as well.

If I had one thing to address it would be the bike handles. The foam-like handles can wear and tear rather quickly, but I will be buying another in the future.

Pros: the colors of the bicycle and heart detail on the bike are cute, back storage rack, and it’s a great size to ride around the nieghborhood. CONS: no hand brakes, every piece came dirty and stained, pedals looked like someone’s dirty shoes were already on it, the handle bar did not line up with the front wheel, there is a very LOUD clicking noise when riding and i don’t know where it comes from.

Disappointed in the hardware of this bike. Overall I do not recommend this particular item.

Awesome looking Bike. However after putting it together the back wheel was worped making noise as I rotated. I recommend getting your Bike at Walmart already put together because I threw the box out and Walmart won’t allow me to return the bike to their local store, so I’ve got to find a box.

Only good thing is they told me I don’t have to find cushioning in the box since they will process the return in their claims department and not resell the bike. Although I wished I could of just got a new wheel.

The bike is a beautiful color Teal , It was fairly easy to put together. I had to go buy a bigger Allen wrench for the handle bars. When we put the Bicycle together we notices the tires were warped , the box was not crushed ,so i they were warped at the place were they package it.

I called Wal- Mart 1 800 number and reordered the same bike. I hope it goes well this time.

Stylish bike but buyer beware. A good number of reviews stated there were problems with this bike. I fell in love with the retro look but should have heeded the reviewers warning. Bike came with fenders bent in packaging that had to be straighten for installation.

After assembly I immediately noticed clicking sounds when the pedals are in the 12 and 6 position. On every rotation of the pedals their is clicking and a slight increase in force needed to push the pedals.

I feel like it must be bearings. So now I need to take my twice ridden bike to a bike shop for a solution. According to my experience and quite a few reviews Huffy is not the quality company they once were.

I bought this bike as an early Christmas present for myself. I got a dog – and wanted a simple bike to take him run/walking as I ride. Well the box came totally damaged. It was the last bike in inventory, no telling how many times it was tried and returned! Luckily I bought the 2-year warranty.

My husband for a birthday present – took it to REI to have them fix it – as it was unrideable in the condition it arrived in. So with the help of a professional bike technician, and the cooperation of Huffy – we replaced a damaged wheel and fork that were damaged at the factory according to the technician.

The bike seems to be OK – there are dings all over it – but I decided to keep it since my husband spent $90 to get it fixed (where I paid $150 for the bike). as they say – you get what you pay for I guess.

I like the colors, the seat wiggles when I ride it as well – so it is very hard to adjust the tightness. I don’t think this reflects on WalMart but their distributor and manufacturer of this bike. I have nothing to compare it to, as I haven’t ridden a bike for 50 years.

So I figure I would ding it up anyway. My dog runs next to me with the doggy bike leash I purschased. We are two happy campers. Warning – this bike is a cruiser – no hand brakes, brakes seem a little hard to actually stop the bike, I’m not going that fast anyway – but I thought it would stop quicker than it does when I engage the brakes.

But all in all, I love the bike, dings and all – love the colors and my little dog is happy too – and he is the most important. We are enjoying riding it in the Baylands near where we live.

The metal has a good strength and thickness to it. Great quality for the price, I’m looking into getting one for myself now!.

We bought this bike as a present for our 11 year old daughter before the summer started. In the first month, the front tire went flat and we had to replace the tube. Then the right pedal fell off. When I went to put it back on, the inside hole was stripped out and so was the bolt on the end of the pedal itself.

It looks like whoever assembled the bike originally (it was purchased assembled already at Walmart) cross threaded it when they put it on. The pedal will not go back on, I have to buy replacement parts again.

3 months in and I definitely won’t be buying any more huffy products in the future.

The bike itself is really great quality and just beautiful and fun to ride. However, it was difficult to assemble particularly given the microscopic size of the text instructions and the incredible lack of clarity of details.

One of the brake cords came off during shipping and we had to open up the handlebar lever assembly and repair it. My only hope was watching a youtube video from Australia to assemble the rest, but it was cut off before the end.

Please BikeBerry- post your own YouTube video on this!!! Your manual is useless. If you get this, i’d highly urge professional assembly unless you’re really mechanically inclined.

This is a beautiful bike, very pretty and would be great for the right person. The problem with buying online, it’s hard to tell if the bike fits you well. I thought the frame was stretched out more than other beach cruisers and it is not.

As a plus size lady, I couldn’t get it pedaled, my legs were too cramped up and if I put the seat higher, I wouldn’t be able to touch the ground from the seat at a stop. IDK what I’m going to do with this, I already had it assembled.

Based on price and product quality, I would recommend the bike I purchased. Considering the cost for an unpackaged/undamaged item is more than twice the purchase price of the item I bought, I find the issues I had to resolve acceptable.

The bike frame and accessories were in fairly good condition, with only a small number of minor chips to the finish (paint) evident. The major issue I had to resolve in order to make the bike operational was replacement of much of the front wheel mounting hardware.

In addition to missing mount nuts and washers, several of the hub bearings were also missing and had to be replaced. While not very expensive, there was a lot of ‘running’ involved in order to locate the correct parts as many of the required items were ‘brand specific’.

Overall, I consider the purchase price to have been worth the additional effort involved. Jim Cherry.

I live in an area that is relatively flat, so this bike is perfect for cruising around and carrying the few things around that I need to hangout at my favorite spots. I wouldn’t recommend for those who have a few hills to climb or any changes in elevation that might be challenging.

Get yourself a hybrid bike with accessories if you’re looking for a cute bike with the cruiser frame, but the ability to switch gears to make it up and down hills with ease. Still love this brand though, and have from childhood.

If I could give Huffy bikes 0 stars I would. My bike arrived with no seat and missing multiple parts. When I called to ask them to send me the bike seat they said it would take up to 5 weeks to get to my house.

I had been waiting to buy the right bike for months and I was so disappointed when my bike came and I wasn’t able to ride it anytime in the near future. I returned the bike and haven’t been contacted by Huffy to apologize.

I did get refunded. I bought an Electra instead and it is much nicer and a much better company to support.

This bike’s load-bearing capacity is IMPRESSIVE! I weigh around 260 pounds, and have had to transport up to an additional 15 pounds on some errands. Never once do I get the feeling that the bike is buckling beneath any of it, even when moving at nearly 20mph.

The only thing that gets annoying is that the seat squeaks when I try to pedal at higher speeds, and I attribute that to the weight bouncing on it. The bike’s durability so far is also impressive. In addition to handling such road hazards as crumbling sidewalks, debris, and potholes with little difficulty, it handled a small spill when I tried to stop during a downhill stretch and couldn’t get the bike to stop in time.

This was entirely my own fault, as I did not act as quickly or forcefully as the cruiser brake requires– especially when traveling downhill and carrying extra weight in water and personal effects. While the seat twisted a little out-of-place, it was easily fixed and the bike has continued to exceed my expectations in most areas.

Further, it is stylish and every time I take it out, people compliment its look and eco-friendliness. Caveat Emptor: If you live in a hilly area, I recommend considering your travel range and the elevation changes in your routes before committing to this bike or investing in another bike that is better equipped for hills.

While I still enjoy this bike, a multi-speed with handbrakes would have been much more practical. If you live on flatlands, or in an area where inclines aren’t very steep, I highly recommend this bike.

If it is properly assembled and adjusted, you will not have any regrets about getting it. It’s a fabulous bike.

I’ve recently purchased the Polygon Zenith Active 3 Ladies City Cruiser Bike and let me tell you, it really does look and feel awesome. However, although the bike came partially pre-installed, when I finally put the rest of it together – with quite a bit of difficulty actually (since the instruction manual isn’t specific to this model and so the pictures don’t really coincide with all the parts you have to work with and unfortunately, the model is also very confusing and hard to find in the help section for videos of what to do!) when I took it for a test run, I noticed that the right pedal occasionally scrapes against the cream coloured chain protector metal frame and has already created minor scrape marks which I’m devastated about since it’s only a day old! Given that the company is based in NSW, although I appreciate the fast shipping service (though I have a complaint here as well because the front wheel fork part was poking out of the bottom of the box on one side and SCRAPING AGAINST THE GROUND when it arrived!) I feel like it’s been such a hassle to put together.

I figure since I’m in Melbourne, I won’t be able to get physical help anywhere regarding any of this. I couldn’t even put the front wheel alignment gear because there seems to be a screw missing! I really feel upset that my brand new bike already has some scrapes, however minor they may be, it’s brand new and the part was already pre-assembled so it wasn’t something that could’ve been picked up from the get-go.

It wasn’t a waste but still a disappointing experience.

Aslong I was browsing. On bicycle on line. I found something I quite admire. The polygon zenith active 3. Its not cheap either. But, when you really lissent to the presentation in the video about the bike.

Its give you what is all about the bike is. ! Top of the whistlist. My partner sacrifice $800 Just to have something special for me for my birthday. I waited a week to received my bike that’s understandable.

I get excited like a little kid again. Wow. ! So, when I did open the box. 1. Doesn’t pack quite right Maybe that’s the way it is. 2. Damage Basket 3. Totaly Defirent Colour. 4. The wood from the back rear its not just a scratch Its a quite deep damage and a few scratches.

5. The seat us to hard to seat on and its always moving back and forward. 6. The paint from the front of the bike wheel like the fork. Its a lot of bubbles paint. 7. Its in one gear still pretty hard to pedal in a little hill.

The Question Is. ? Did my partner pay for a New bike. I think it Is. ! Not A Demo. After all those faults. I try to call Fernando M. I told him. Iam not quite impressed. ! He did apologise and told me to give me a refund for $25.

For the paint. He did sent me another basket and again different colour and I said to my self those people who makes those bike must be a blind coloured. Its not about the $25 dollars for the paint. Its about.

Its not be a Super expensive bike you can get But, Is expensive enough for a top of the range for a classic a cruise bike as the man mentioned in the video again.

The bike arrived after only a few days and was very well packed. Fairly easy to assemble and a beautiful looking bike, however, after assembling it, I noticed a couple of points that I’m not too happy about.

The brake levers pulled all the way until they pressed against the handgrips, which according to the hand book is not how it’s meant to be; I feel that they have not been set up correctly at the factory.

The side stand also seems to me to be too short as the bike leans over at such a precarious angle that it is too close to falling over to use, looks like I’ll have to buy a stand to replace it. Took my first ride and am very pleased with it, I especially like the gears, shame about the two points above.

Husband finally put it together, it was my Christmas gift. Easy assembly, he didnt seem to have many complaints. I didnt do enough research I guess beyond the look. To break, you pedal backwards. The seat is cute and wide but uncomfortable and I’m not a small woman.

I plan to add lights and definitely a new seat. The handle bars are a bit uncomfortable as well but its a “cute bike”. Luckily mine was not damaged I guess.

The bike looks nice but arrived damaged. The front wheel was bent and scraped against the fender. The fork was out of alignment and the hardware for the basket was missing, The box for the basket had been destroyed and retaped leading me to think the bike had previously been returned and when the bike was delivered to me the carton was completely open at the top and the box was badly damaged.

I returned the bike for refund.

Where I live, (Nova Scotia, Canada) it is hilly. From home to work and back, there are many, many hills, some of which are quite steep and large. On my Townie, using the max assist, in a low gear, I finally made it up the largest, steepest hill in my commute.

I loved my old bike, but I went to the Townie because I’m getting closer to 60 and my knees aren’t what they used to be. The Townie is longer and heavier than my previous bike and one of my real challenges has been learning how to manage some of the sharper cornering with the longer bike and power assist.

On the Townie GO, the assist works a bit like cruise control in car. While you’re pedaling, the assist is boosting you. If you brake or stop pedaling, the assist suspends until you begin to pedal. It seems like any amount of forward pedal will produce a surge of assist, which I especially appreciated while making a left turn in traffic, while going uphill.

One thing I’ve noticed, is that I have an increased confidence in being in traffic. My commute takes me 25 – 30 minutes by car; on my old bike, about an hour through trails and neighbourhood roads; on my Townie Go it takes around 35-40 minutes.

I like the handlebars, I like how upright I’m sitting, I like the feeling of being flat-footed when stopped, and I’m loving the boosted assist. I use a rear basket. With the assist, I quit thinking in terms of what I couldn’t carry because of the weight it added and I started thinking in terms of, what do I want to take with me today.

I read reviews, I watched videos on You Tube, I saw some ladies in my neck of the woods on their Townies and asked them how about theirs, and I spoke to other cyclists who had switched to electric bicycles.

I’m glad I finally made the leap, it’s made such a positive difference in my riding. This was a BIG purchase for me and I’m glad I did it.

I absolutely love this bike. I find that just knowing you have the assistance if you need it makes you want to cycle more, farther, and try new routes. Last weekend I cycled a 24-km route that I would have been more hesitant about if I didn’t have my Townie Go.

My view on what’s feasible has totally changed. It is very easy to switch between no assistance and pedal assistance, which is normally what I do. It rides very well as a “non-e” bike, and the 7 gears are helpful for this.

When I’m using the motor, I tend to ride in 7th gear unless I’m going up a hill. I am definitely heavy and the motor still gets me up average hills fine. I do have to put a BIT of effort in, but I expected as much and don’t mind.

It’s very minimal. If you are looking to put absolutely no effort and do a lot of commuting up hills, you may need a bike with a more powerful motor and larger battery. That being said, I have still taken this to work or out on errands on routes with some small hills and it’s a breeze.

The battery lasts about as well as I expected. I would say I have to charge it after 3-4 rides, and even then, the battery isn’t dead– I just want to make sure it’s full for the next one. It is very quiet, just a faint whine when the motor kicks in.

The bike is also very comfortable, as all Townies are. If you’ve never ridden in the upright position, it’s a game changer as well! My back has always hurt on mountain/commuter bikes but doesn’t with this one.

After stealing my bike a few times, my husband has now bought his own e-bike. Everyone I’ve let try it out has been impressed at how fun and comfortable it is. I would definitely recommend giving this bike a try if you can– you may be surprised!.

Let me start by saying REI was wonderful in taking care of us during this experience. I test rode the step through, the new version, as well as this step over. I ultimately decided to purchase the step over.

We went on a 29 mile ride. After 1 hill during the first mile, the pedal assist gave out. It gave out for 10 miles. Eventually we were able to get the pedal assist to work; HOWEVER, it “died” about 15 times for me.

I switched bikes with my boyfriend (he has the co-op 1. 1 electric and it works flawlessly) and he counted the pedal assist failing 27 times, approx 1-2 times per mile for the 14. 5 mile ride home. We’re in our late 30s, in great shape, and ride our manual bikes regularly….

luckily, he was able to pedal up the hills necessary to get us home. This bike is heavy, which is expected as it is a beach cruiser + the battery weight, etc. I will say that it is very comfortable to ride, I love the flat foot technology, but its awkward to stand and ride to get up hills.

I owned this bike for less than 1 day before returning. REI was very understanding and gave a full refund.

After using my brothers old mountain bike for a year to get to and fro the 5km to work I finally decided to pursue my own course and buy the style of bicycle I’ve always wanted since I was a little girl.

I would like to add that I have always had my brothers hand me downs. And that I am a 30yo woman. Not only was the bike I purchased far more beautiful then I had enticipated, with the beautiful leather seat and grips, but there was a mix up with my purchase of the demo model and the company sent me a new one with no extra cost.

Super easy to ride on my way to work that has a few dips and inclines and just enough give for me to feel the workout without trying too hard. Fun note! My usual parking spot at work had me lifting my bike up to get it out of the shed.

The new bicycle was damn near thrown into the roof the first time I lifted it because it is so light and handy to manage. My only issue is that my local swooping magpie still hates me regardless of how awesome my new bike is.

The packaging was good. The bike showed up relatively intact. The assembly instructions were terrible. There was one bolt missing, that was needed for attaching the front fender. There were no instructions for attaching the fender.

I figured it out by looking at the pictures. There was also a u-shaped item that I realized (also from pictures) was needed to protect the rear gears. It was a challenge to install and again there were no instructions.

There was an additional metal piece at the bottom of the handlebars, which I believe is to help with the basket. Again, no instructions or context and it’s not in the photos either so I *think* I have it oriented correctly but I’m not really sure.

In addition the front fender is slightly warped, but not enough to come in contact with the tire so maybe it won’t matter. I tried the online chat and didn’t really get a response. The phone chat was more helpful.

They gave me the specs of the missing bolt and refunded the price of it, after I bought it myself. If I weren’t relatively mechanically handy, I think I would have rated this only 2 stars, because it would have been very frustrating.

That being said, I have taken the bike out for a test ride and I do like it. It is very comfortable, easy to adjust, and easy to shift. The bike showed up quickly as well. I also purchased the optional basket and it’s perfect.

It was total rubbish, the bike arrived without pedals or tools or screws for mudguards. When I rang they said just take it down to a bike shop, we will give you $50 credit back, it cost me two hours driving time to find a shop that could do the repairs as it was a surprise present for my wife before we take it on our holidays.

At the end and a $180 later to sort out pedals, mudguard the cassette at the back as it was all bent. Never again. How could they miss so many parts, like buying a car with three wheels. They did send the pedal’s and bits 8 days later, gawd know why.

NEVER AGAIN.
