20 Best Women’S Flannel Pajamas (2022 Updated)

I ordered these last year (I used the same link in the item purchased so it would take me back to my original purchase). The original pants that I received were a really nice soft flannel with a wide ribbon string in the waist.

I LOVE them. THESE ARE NOT THOSE! These are the same pattern BUT not the same material. These are a lighter weight almost summer version with a really cheap nylon cord. And the fit is weird. It fits weird in the rise and the inseam is SUPER long.

This isn’t a blip either, for this order I added two pairs in 2 different sizes and the THEY BOTH came n this weird version. And I also ordered a third pair with the same description in another color and it came in this bad version too.

Watch your quality control PajamaMania- I won’t be buying again!.

Sleepy Heads is one of my go-to stops when shopping for pajama bottoms and these are very nice. They’re a neutral color and even a navy blue, plum or teal shirt looks great with them. In the winter if it’s cold outside I will sometimes wear these to the store.

They’re comfortable and cozy although not as soft as high dollar flannel but still soft. I am 5’7 and they are at least 2″ too long but I like them long. I have washed them in cold water and put them in the dryer on medium heat and they haven’t seemed to shrink.

Overall I’d say yes, buy them.

This pajamas are nice and thick and very soft. I have a few pair, however, the tags are sewn in with fishing line or something, they are really scratchy! I’m not sure if I want to try taking the tag off I might make a hole in my pajamas! I wear pajamas everyday after my shower if I’m not going out in public! I hope they will start making these tagless! Then I can buy a bunch more!.

I love PJ salvage pajamas. I have at least 5 of them in my closet and I just added the grey ones to my collection. They are soft, cozy, and very durable. They hold up well after several washes. no holes, rips whatsoever.

Pretty think material and will keep me nice and warm. Happy with my purchase.

Every year I buy a pair of PJ Salvage flannel Pjs for my niece. She absolutely loves them! They still look amazing after a year. Their so soft Ann’s comfy,It wouldn’t be Christmas with out then.

I fell in love with these pjs at the beginning of the pandemic because they’re so great for hanging around the house! You can walk out & greet the neighbors in them without embarrassment! I’ve purchased several pairs because they are close to perfect – but it seems like most reviewers have their own tweaks they would like to make them just right! Here are mine: I don’t like a drawstring waist, but it’s okay if there’s also elastic that fits well.

I’ve found the waists in these are larger than those of other Land’s End pants in the same size. So I not only take out the drawstring, but also tighten up the elastic in every pair I buy. Also, while I don’t agree with the reviewer who hates all the colors & prints & only wants solid pastels, I do think some of the pj top colors are the kind of muddy, unflattering shades that keep getting pushed by the fashion industry & really look bad on most people! So I’m buying pj sets for the pants & pairing them with Land’s End Supima tees that look better on me!.

I purchased this pajama set recently. With Lands end clothing, I run between a small and a medium and I normally wear a ladies size 6-8. Because I like pajamas looser, I ordered rhemedium, thinking they would be comfy and loose.

The pants have enough wiggle room in them and are a bit loose, but the drawstring takes care of that which is fine. The top, however is pretty form fitting. The upper part of the sleeves is quite snug and the knit material feels like it has spandex in it which is great for a swim suit but not for pajamas.

Plain knit would have been perfect, like t shirt material, for example, but this top is a huge disappointment. The saving grace is, I got the pj set at a good sale price, and the printed cat material on the bottoms is adorable, so I’m giving it 3 stars.

I do wear the top, but I feel restrained in it because it’s so snug around my upper arms. For once, I’m glad I’m flat chested or that would be a problem as well! Note*** I would recommend the pants to a friend, but not the top, so I answered yes to this question.

I bought two sets of these PJs after Christmas because they had some cute animal patterns (on sale). I like the bit of spandex, which makes them just the right amount of stretchy. Otherwise, all cotton fabric is my go-to for sleepwear so I don’t burn up in anything with polyester (THIS is why it is so important that merchants make this information readily and easily available to customers).

I love how I can mix and match my tops and bottoms, due to the colors/patterns I chose. I have really been enjoying wearing these. The only negative I have experienced is that there is come color bleeding on one pair of the pants–not all over, but in random spots, like the dye was not set properly in those areas, since the pattern is simply printed on the outside of the fabric.

Maybe I just got a not-so-perfect pair, but it doesn’t matter, since I just sleep/lounge in them around the house. I find the bottoms a little long (for me), but I just roll down the waist once and that is fine (I should just hem them a little shorter for myself).

These PJs are super cute. They are the same pattern as the fleece pants but because they fabric is not fleece the pattern is much crisper. I am generally turned off by flame-resistant clothing because of all we know about forever chemicals but I was put at easy when I did a deep dive into Target’s ESG page and ready about its commitment to getting forever chemicals out of its products.

The OEKO-Tex Standard 100 rating, while not perfect, is encouraging. I’m glad Target is taking these steps, especially when it comes to childrens’ clothing.

These are great quality pajamas. The fabric has a soft luxurious feel to it. It’s made with a nice mid weight fabric that will keep you warm without making you hot. The colors are vibrant and hold up well after washing.

All around 5 stars!.

Light weight, which is good. But they shrink a ton. Got both large and extra large for length. Both were okay out of the package but are above ankles once washed. I’m 5’8 and normally wear a large. Wish they came in tall sizes like the men’s option.

I really wanted to like these, but for me they just didn’t work. I have to push the sleeves up or they are annoyingly short, I either wear long socks or push the pants up to mid-calf, and the top is short on the waist too.

I don’t know, for me, I like things to be big and comfy, rather than short, tight and make me feel like a fat giant. I got the largest size offered, XL, I’m 5’10 and about 175lb. I really wanted fun, Valentine Jammies but these just didn’t work out.

Oh and knees were oddly baggy and there was a hole in the seam of one leg.

Got the turquoise set. Pants were thin but fit was good. Within 3 hours of wearing, the fabric started pulling apart with just basic movements, no give to the fabric at all! And it isn’t as if they are tight in any way just bending a knee or rearranging a sitting position and RIP!.

Actually I have a set on right now. They are soft, warm, and cozy, but not heavy. I purchased a set of each color. The size fits perfectly too. I have a lot of pajamas, but none that I like anywhere near as much as I do these.

I highly recommend them!.

I bought these for me for Christmas and I just love them. They are so comfortable and warm. I did wash them first in a cold water wash dried them in a low heat setting dryer; they shrank a bit but fit perfectly now.

Feels very soft. This fits great. I always order a medium top and this fits great. It feels so soft in my hands. Also feels good on my skin. I love the feels. Also the print is great. My boyfriend also likes the way that it feels.

I matched mines with some little leggings and it was so cute. It’s long sleeve.

First the material on this top is SO soft! Very comfy and would be great for bed. But the top runs very very large. Trying to sleep in it, it would get twisted and hang off if me. I wish it fit better as I’d wear it every night but it’s just too large to be comfortable and I got the smallest size they offer.

If you take any size other than small I’d still recommend this and say just buy a size down.

This is a very nice flannel shirt. It’s very well made, the material is soft and buttery. It feels nice on your skin, it’s not itching or scratchy like some flannels. The stitching is very precise, no threads hanging from the seams.

Definitely going to be my go to shirt when it gets cold, and I love how ir fits.

Nice colors and decent quality. The pants are great but a bit long, though otherwise true to size. The shirt is larger than the size and a lesser material than the pants. The white trim on the shirt opening takes away from the shirt.

If trim is needed a black satin trim would look better.

I have a pair of the Red plaid paw flannel pajama thermal set (which I wear the top at night as well as during the day with jeans) and the Black loving paws flannel pajama set. Both are warm, soft and comfortable.

Both are purfect.

Love, Love, Love these! Super soft and comfortable – I just wish I could wear them to work!! Them seem to be wearing well too,which I’m pleased about. Cannot fault them in any way actually and you can’t beat the price.

Sizing – always use the sizing chart. I’m usually a Large but bought the XL in these based on the size chart and it was spot on. I didn’t want them to be too tight and with the size guide they are just tight at XL to accommodate my curvy hips and thighs.

Go on. you know you want to.

The biggest downside of these pants is the waistband. It is lined with non-flannel synthetic scratchy material. Why, LandsEnd?! Why? Such a poor choice in design! In addition, the length is inconsistent from one color to another.

The same size fits differently in different colors (one pair was shorter than the other). Neither is comfortable because of the waistband. If they can get the waistband to be all flannel, I may consider these pants again.

They do feel cozy otherwise. Pockets are a cool bonus, although I would rather LE spent this fabric on making the waistband all flannel rather than adding pockets – they are not functional anyways. how often does one use pajama pockets? Anyhow.

waistband makes these pants a 1 star product. Sad.

I have been purchasing these pyjamas for my family at Christmastime for years. My husband wears a men’s medium (5’11) and my daughter wears a small (5’8). I usually buy my daughter a tall size because she likes a longer length.

This year, both pairs, the ladies small/tall and the men’s medium, arrived with a 27 inch inseam. Both have to be returned because they barely reach the ankles. I also noticed that the fabric wasn’t as soft as in previous years.

Reading the reviews, the quality seems inconsistent this year so it appears that there are different suppliers. I received my shipment through Borderfree in Canada and both pairs were from lots manufactured in Bangladesh.

This product is definitely inferior to previous years.

I bought this as a family gift for Christmas. They are the most comfortable PJs and fit great. I bought a different set for our daughter which fit well and I bought the Men’s matching pants for my husband.

The one negative that I wish I would have paid more attention to. the women’s PJ pants have NO pockets. The men’s pants DO have pockets. Why not pockets for the women’s pants????? That is the only thing wrong with them.

I have pockets in all my other PJ pants but not these which was very disappointing. I love the pattern and the fabric is light enough to not feel heavy but warm enough for winter in Texas. Please Land’s End, consider making sure women’s PJs have pockets.

Next time I order these I will order the men’s pants for myself to ensure I have pockets.

Whoever writes the description for these flannel pajamas obviously does not “inspect” the product. I purchased the ‘Angus’ (purple & black) flannel pajamas. This was the thinnest flannel I have ever experienced.

The description states “Premium ultrasoft cotton flannel pajamas in just the right weight to stay warm and cozy without overheating. ” If this is what you folks call premium, then your standards are not very high.

The material was very thin and I do not see how they would keep anyone warm. These pajamas also ran small. There are many other flannel pajama brands that charge as much as LL Bean (some sell for less) that are way better than what is being sold here.

Where the flannel is much more plush and the flannel will actually keep you warm! Very disappointed and do not plan on purchasing other LL Bean products as their descriptions do not match the products they are selling.

There are other reviewers that have the similar sentiments regarding this item. I would suggest the Marketing folks actually touch & feel the products before writing up their description! I returned this item as soon as I could.

The PJs look good, fit well and are warm and comfortable. However after washing as directed the lint coming off the inside and the outside is copious! Some in big globs! I hung to dry because I saw a lot of lint in the washer and I didn’t dare dry it.

I brushed and shook off the pajamas after they dried and the lint on the floor was unbelievable. I vacuumed it up with a canister vacuum and the lint swirled in large clumps inside the canister. So there was a good part of the garment I purchased swirling around inside a vacuum cleaner.

To be fair the pajamas were washed separately but as directed because I always wash dark colored clothes separately the first time to avoid dye transfer. I also always hang flannels up to dry because I believe it helps them last longer.

All my flannel pajamas have come from LL Bean over the last 20-30 years and all have some loose lint after the initial wash but this was the most I have ever seen. The lint is still falling of of them.

The price is also the most I’ve ever seen. It seems to me that the last time I bought flannels was about 2 years ago and this is about a 100% price increase. So instead of buying my usual 2 I just bought 1.

I will admit that these are very stylish: they have a true-to-size and flattering cut. They are soft and comfortable. When I first received them, I got compliments from my wife and I thought I understood why Wirecutter gave them such high marks.

However, the quality was pretty disappointing. They pilled in the wash. My wife began to say “are those really from LL Bean?” In less than six months, the crotch had ripped. There are other 1-2* reviews that had similar complaints.

I don’t know if the different patterns have different quality, but this was with black watch tartan. I do wear them regularly, but I have a pair of flannel sleep pants from a competing company that I have worn just as often.

Those are slightly less stylish. but they also cost half as much and are going strong after years. I am hoping that my experience with the LL Bean sleep pants was anomalous & am exchanging the pair I bought.

Fingers crossed that I get at least a year of use from a new pair.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. These are hands down the very best pajamas ever! They are soooo soft and comfortable! No, they are not the really thick, heavy flannel that rival the flannel used in men’s outdoors flannel shirts or flannel bed sheets.

If that’s what you’re looking for, these aren’t it. The flannel in these is thinner/lighter but very, very soft and perfect for sleeping. The fit is perfect, too. I’m 5’9″ and weigh 175 lbs. I ordered a tall size large, and the fit is perfect.

The only bad thing is that I didn’t order more because the talls are all gone now. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for them to be back in stock and order more if I can. I just LOVE these pajamas!.

I order 2 or 3 pairs of this sleep pants every year. Normally ordering M Tall. Other reviewers are disappointed because the fabric is so lightweight, so I was aware of that when I ordered. BUT they are fine for summer! I’ll wear them year round I don’t mind the lighter weight.

The old fabric was heavier and better quality. The fit is a little different not as great as the old sleep pants but still good. Hopefully supply chains will open up more some day and we can get all of our great clothes from EB again.

These pants are unbelievably comfortable. In cold weather, whenever I’m home I’m wearing them, and I sleep in them too. Every year I buy a few more pairs in new colors and I probably own at least 10 pairs now.

They are a really nice-quality flannel that’s soft (not stiff or scratchy) and not too thick. The only complaint I have is that this year’s batch is running a little too big for size. I don’t really notice that except for in the length of the legs.

They’re too long and brush along the ground. I don’t like that because I don’t want them to get dirty. But that hasn’t stopped me from buying and wearing them! I bought 4 pairs this year and I love them!.

Such soft, cuddly pajama. These are my second set – I wore out the first one and was thrilled to find these for sale. Wish you’d had a size medium though…

This is the second time I’ve purchased. I have bought many pajamas over the past 12 years, some less expensive, most were more expensive…MUCH more; and while the more expensive brands were of excellent quality, they were NOT more quality than these.

As a matter of fact, they weren’t up to the quality of these. I love the full elastic waist, which (trust me) is not easily found (Brooks Brothers are you listening?) AND these also have a nice, mid-weight drawstring.

I also loved the mid-to-heavy weight fabric, the high quality of the fit & finish, which includes a button sleeve cuff! I dare you to try to find that feature on pajamas at any price point, much less at this price.

I have spent well over $1000 (more like $2000) ove the past decade and while I first was wishing I had found these from the start, I’m now thinking that if I hadn’t purchased so many different brands, I might not fully appreciate how rare these are! I am thrilled and I hope they make these forever because I never intend to buy another brand!.

Received as a Christmas gift. Description states lightly brushed cotton, but this is like wearing your husband’s stiff work shirt. Very rough and uncomfortable, 0 stretch. They fit true to their size chart BUT the arms are 2x the usual circumference, again making them feel like men’s clothing, not feminine.

The collar does not stand up as some other brands of cotton pajamas. And for some reason they sewed an uncomfortable yoke in the back. That fact together with no stretch makes them extremely uncomfortable to sleep in.

Would have been nice if the manufacturer had shown the yoke in all the pictures! I have never had any pajama shirt or set have a yoke in the back to pull across the shoulders. + 100 cotton (though NOT soft) + Some sophisticated prints – Odd design with yoke in back making them uncomfortable to sleep in – Voluminous sleeve circumference – Collar does not stand up.

I bought these pajamas for my mother and they are absolutely adorable! They have wonderful trim and features. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy them for myself because they are so cute and seem so well made.

The only drawback is that I really had to hunt for them because the site was set up so that the colors weren’t shown together. Each color was a separate item and by looking at one you wouldn’t know the pink was available.

The other colors weren’t what I wanted and I found the pink just by scrolling through many many more pictures. Bad website feature.

shirt looks shorter at the torso than the one the model is wearing, and the chest area is a really deep v-cut. might work for some people but it shows everything when i tried it on; don’t want to wear a tank top or another shirt underneath because then what’s the point of the pajama top i might as well just wear a tshirt.

the pants were soo strange too. personally, there was so much excess fabric at the hip area. not only were the pants falling off, it looked so bad. technically i could pull the waist strings as tight as possible to prevent pants from falling, but there’s just a bunch of fabric sticking out at the hip area which made me look like i’m trying on guy pajamas that are too big.

don’t think sizing down would have made a difference i think this pajama fit is just weird. i really regret buying this final sale; my first and last time making that mistake. honestly, never buy madewell’s final sale items unless you’ve tried it on before.

I bought these pajamas back in November and have been enjoying them so much that I’ve bought another pair on final sale just so I can have a backup when I inevitably wear my first one out. Super comfy but still breathable, which is a godsend when you’re like me and are prone to some wild body temperature swings in your sleep.

Probably the only thing that might drive someone a little crazy is the lining under the buttons tends to bunch up after being run through the dryer. Unless you know how to iron it flat or just don’t care, it might put you off.

Other than that, these are the perfect pajamas to languish away in over a lazy weekend. Love that the bottoms have pockets — it makes me feel very debonair to have one hand tucked away in a pocket while I stand by a window with a cup of coffee.

I usually wear an XS but sized up to a S because I like my pajamas to be on the roomy side.

Took a risk and bought them on final sale and it wasn’t my best purchase. I’m just under 5’9” and almost always a medium from madewell, but both the shirt and pants in this set are a smidge too short for my liking.

The pants just graze my ankle where I feel like I want to hike them down, but the shirt is pretty short too (in the arms too!) and I don’t want a breeze! If your pj dream is a fitted, cute set then this might work – it’s definitely cute.

But if you’re after cozy then def size up.

I ordered these when my preferred color was backordered and ended up waiting 8 months to get them. They were worth the wait! Really nice soft thick quality fabric. I love that they have pockets and the pockets are nice and deep.

I wear these around the house, not only for sleeping, and I can put my phone in the pocket with no fear of it sliding out (a real issue when wearing jeans and most pants actually intended for all day wear, the pockets are always too shallow to be very functional).

I’d say these run big, but I don’t find that a problem for pajamas. The waist is higher than my personal preference, that is the only drawback for me (it hits around the belly button if pulled all the way up).

Overall these are really comfy and warm and the quality is worth the price (these were more expensive than other pajama pants I own. ) I’d love it if these were offered in even more more colors and prints.

I just bought the red plaid flannel pajama pants. I had an entire set of 3- top, undershirt and pants. I wore them every night for 6 years (through 3 major surgeries and hospital stays too). The elastic is completely stretched out and worn out between legs in one pair.

These pants are a bonus with pockets!!!!!! Perfect fit. I like loose pants. I will buy another pair, different color and match it with a waffle cotton shirt for pj”s.

I have purchased flannel pants in the past few years from various vendors and have been unhappy with the quality of flannel these days. But, these pants are made of quality flannel. They do shrink a little especially in the length, but VC shares the percentage of shrinkage on this item so they are honest with the purchaser.

So these pants are exactly as discribed. I bought a size up just so I could put them in the dryer on low heat. I love the pockets and the pants are made well. They have a flannel tie to tighten at the waist—not a parcel ribbon that does not run all the way through the waistband.

I actually bought all three colors so I could find flannel pants while they lasted!.

Very nice material. I’m usually a size 14, so got a medium. It is huuuuge. Like more like a size 18-20. But I’m keeping it because I have big thighs, and the bottoms fit alright in size 14. I’m worried if I size down, they will be too snug.

Very comfy though. And I love it. Might just tailor the top to fit me better.

I bought similar pyjamas last year, I like them so much I bought these. Although it is the same soft material, they are a bit too snug. H&M definitely changed their sizes, as my year pyjamas still loose and comfortable.

I hope they will not shrink.

These are amazing, soft, comfortable. I love that there isn’t a drawstring which I always find a bit annoying. The elasticated waistband is really wide and not tight so doesn’t dig in. I’m only gutted I am too late to get another pair.

Will be washing these a lot so I can wear again!.

Top too tight. Material was not as nice as expected. Came in a nice fancy black box. So my first expression was WOW. Didn’t try on before washing. Washed in cool water than put them on. Buttons are on the edge of material.
