20 Best Women’S Flannel-Lined Jeans (2022 Updated)

Perfect for spending the day outside at a festival in unseasonably cool weather. I stayed warm without getting too hot or cold throughout the day. Fit true to size. My only wish is that they had more than 1 plaid for the lining.

I still may buy a second pair. These are great!.

The material is warm and thick but the fit is so strange. The back of the waist and the crotch area seem like there is too much material which then bunches in a strange way (makes me think of a diaper!) I will definitely only be wearing these for times when I don’t anticipate seeing any other people, which is disappointing as I wanted warm pants for any adventure or job I may undertake.

I am 5’2” and 115 lbs, purchased size 4.

Super well made!!! I love them so much!!! I didn’t have to wear tight leggings or thermals under my pants anymore. Best clothing I’ve bought in a long time! To dry, you may need to put in dryer twice.

I pull them inside out after the first drying cycle. Enjoy!.

Nice Jeans for the colder weather. Seems to run a little small in the waist. Might stretch from wearing.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas & he loves them. He said they are very warm & he no longer has to wear long johns like he did with regular jeans.

I purchased these jeans for winter dog walking. They keep my legs nice and warm and block wind decently as well. They run really long, so I got the short length. I think you are supposed to turn the cuff up, but I don’t like that because it will collect snow and be a trip hazard.

For reference, I am 5 foot 7. The short length works perfectly though. The jeans are pricy, but I think they will last a long time. Shipping was free and really fast, which I appreciated.

This pair of jeans has just the right amount of lining and it is flannel. It keeps the breezes from being bitter. I would describe it as a loose fit and disagree with reviewers that said they were running small.

I think I had to go a size down (from an 8 to a 6). If you are kinda short get the short. I’m 5’5” and the short works perfectly. They have enough room to cuff and show the bottoms about an inch. There is plenty of room in this jean.

I put these on as soon as they arrived and then didn’t want to take them off. They’re really comfortable and just the right warmth for indoors in the winter and quick trips outdoors too. I’ve been wearing Carhartt jeans for years and love the fit of the Blaines.

These have enough belt loops to keep your pants up without “cracking a smile”. The belt loops are placed strategically where they are needed with two at the back near the center rather than the normal just one, if you’re lucky.

Pockets are large enough to put your hands in and then some. These are made with a heavier material and worked well for me while working outside in the snow. They are more expensive but I think worth it.

These jeans are perfect for when you need that light extra layer to protect you from wind out cold. Their size guide placed me into my perfect size. I will say they are built for small waist/larger bum.

The 12 waist is perfect, but I could use a size 10 bum & leg area. Found this with their leggings too. Those I returned.

I was gifted a pair of these jeans during the summer, and wasn’t immediately attracted to the cut and styling. I found them to be a bit longer from waist to seat than the tan duck relaxed fit Carhartt utility pants I wear 6 days a week.

Threw them on a shelf and forgot about them. but then IT GOT COLD. I finally pulled them off the shelf one day because all my warm under layers were in the dirty clothes basket and my wife was on a laundry strike.

These are now MY FAVORITE WINTER PANTS. They’re like wearing 3 pair of long underwear at the same time, but without the extra bulk, or that need to adjust the innermost pair halfway through the workday(so annoying, if you do REAL WORK in multiple layers, you know what I’m talking about, hahaha).

I keep tools and keys and all kinds of stuff in my pockets, and being a skinny guy with no large rearward endowment to support my pants, a good belt is a must, as are strong belt-loops. These pants kind of let me down in that department, two broke within the first couple months of wear.

The jean material seems to be fairly durable, but not up to the briar-resistant standard I’ve become accustomed to in my Carhartt’s. The liner in the pants is 6-star amazing, disappointingly the jeans themselves are 3-star mediocre.

Would buy a pair for every day of the week if Carhartt put this same lining in rugged flex relaxed double front firm duck utility pant.

I have been a customer for at least 4 decades but over the past few years have seen the quality of products fall short of providing the value once provided. For years I purchased your work attire and wore your products casually as well.

Several years ago I purchased a pair of work boots that failed in less than a year. The soles literally split in half and after contacting customer service there was no response which was very disappointing.

Currently the quality/weight of the jeans is no longer what it was in the past and the selection of sizes have been reduced as well. The styles and materials of your work shirts have changed, i. e. you no longer produce the heavy-duty work shirts made from the duck material.

That may not be the correct name of the material but the quality/weight of the materials used are not what they used to be. As I stated at the start, I have been a customer for decades and have purchased everything from bibs/coveralls, coats, shirts, jeans, work boots to belts and am saddened to say I will no longer recommend your brand as you have opted for profit over quality and selection.

Absolute JUNK! I’m retired. I wear these jeans because no one wants to see a neckid old man, not to work in. I bought 4 pair of these stupid tapered leg jeans that don’t fit over a boot. After 2 wearings, the right rear pocket started to tear out, just like all the other 1 star reviews posted over the past 5 years.

When I ordered, I thought Carhartt have fixed this by now. Nope. The CSR I spoke with said this is “the first time we have heard of this problem. ” Yeah right. I only wore 2 pairs, but returned all 4 for a refund.

Between the skinny styling, that lousy quality, and the ridiculous stretchy denim of some other Carhartt jeans I have (which still turn my skin and the beige leather in my BMWs blue after 2 years) I’m through with Carhartt.

There are too many other reliable brands out there to purchase from. Buh Bye Carhart!!!.

I am a long-time Wrangler wearer – 936DEN, 936PWD, and 936 in various colors – and have always been impressed with the quality, fit, durability, and price. However, since production moved from Mexico to Nicaragua I have noticed a drastic change in the fit of all 936 models.

As other reviewers have noted, they are no longer slim! The fit has changed significantly. I know it’s not me – I have lots of old pairs around and they fit the same way they did a year ago, two years ago, etc.

The new models are coming out different, with more (unwanted) ease in the legs. I don’t mind that they are made in a different place, but your quality assurance needs to improve to make sure the product is coming out the same as it did before, the same is it did for years and years.

Or, if the models have been updated on purpose, bring back the old fit, or introduce a 936 variant that goes back to the old, slimmer, definition of slim. If not, I’m afraid I’m going to have to start looking for a new brand of jeans to wear.

Ordered two pairs of these in February 2022 (Order # 1094482195). Both arrived late because of back order of certain sizes. One pair was fine, but the other pair had two small holes in it (Near right rear pocket, and one just bellow the zipper on the stitch line).

I have never purchased a pair of Wrangler jeans that were defective from day 1. Holes were not discovered until two months later, when the pair was entered into the rotation of jeans. First hole was able to be stitched (Zipper area near the stitch line), but the second bigger hole, even with stitching gets larger and larger upon successive wash.

I have had Wranglers fail before from normal wear and tear, but never from defects and generally they last a lot longer than 3 months. I will never purchase wrangler jeans online for this exact reason.

I love heavy heavy dark indigo jeans. I want my jeans almost stiff enough to stand on their own when new and tougher than a old piece of boot leather. I work very hard I want my jeans to stand up to it.

This style is very excellent work jean. Unlike the 13 mzw rodeo jeans , these have room to bend and squat without your family jewels being crunched. Also the waist feels like it sits at a more comfortable spot.

The only problem I seem to have is I can order multiple pairs of the same size and they all feel different or fit differently when I go to wear them. I don’t know if it is a difference in who sewed them or a difference in who cut the fabric, but it is frustrating.

However usually the 47 style jeans fit relaxed enough that it still feels ok.

I’ve been ordering and wearing Comfort First jeans for the past three years, both in the straight fit and traditional fit. I do like the stretch in the jeans and the low rise (I’m not tall so the lower rise is nice), I just wish the sizing was more consistent from one year to the next.

Older pairs of both the straight fit and traditional fit are fine but the last year or so, the straight fit has become too tight in the waist and hips (and no, I’ve not gained weight) and the traditional fit have become baggy, more like the relaxed fit.

I did get a couple of pair of straight fit a year+ ago (manufactured in Viet Nam) that are great – good fit in the waist and hips but others ordered since are too tight (straight fit) or too baggy (traditional fit).

Maybe it’s a function of supplier/manufacturer but I’m reluctant to buy any more of these with the inconsistent sizing I’ve seen.

Kudos to Lands End for staying with comfortable 100% brushed cotton for these jeans. Consistent with the trend that started years ago in women’s jeans, spandex or other elastic type materials are finding their way into into men’s jeans.

I’m not a fan. Not the same feel and wear as 100% cotton. 4star rating is a function of a slightly looser fit in the thighs and butt than I prefer. I’m 6’, 180# wearing 34 x 321/2”. Pretty amazing that Lands End offers lengths in 1/4” increments.

Overall, very good, very comfortable, high quality jeans. Yes I’d buy again and would recommend.

I’m swimming in these. Even without the Comfort Waist, the 44s are huge. Add the Comfort Waist and my pants barely stay up. I need suspenders. Thought they’d shrink in hot wash and hot dry but no luck.

Having washed, worn, then washed again, so can’t return. Will donate. Other 44” waisted jeans were snug which is why I ordered the Comfort Waist. Speaking of generous sizes, received 3 LE mock turtlenecks (XLT) for Christmas: the two made in Singapore could pass for mini-skirts as they go well below my butt while the one made in Cambodia is fine.

I wanted to love these pants. I wanted to, so bad. I am typically a US size 8-10 (depending on brand). For OR, the size 10 Ferrosi pants are a dream fit! So, naturally I assumed I would be a size 10 for these work pants.

Turns out, I could barely button the waist line and there was no chance I was getting any work done in the size 10 – after reading reviews about how these pants shrink after washing, I returned the size 10 for a size 14.

they arrived today and the thighs fit great but I am swimming in the waist/crotch. It is a terrible fit for a curvy women like myself. I am a professional guide and also a volunteer for Mountain Rescue.

My hope was finding a pair of durable pants for bushwhacking on searches and standing on the bow of the boat during expeditions for work, but these are definitely not the solution. Incredibly disheartened as I embark next week for a voyage and was optimistic I found a work pant solution.

The search continues.

I went up a size because OR cotton shrinks a lot but they were a snug fit. I might go two sizes up next time because they really shrunk a lot after the first wash. They still fit but are much shorter than when they arrived.

The flannel lining is super cute pattern that matches their shirt flannel. I love it! Very soft lining too. They are a very warm pant so they are great for cold conditions but obviously become uncomfortable once the car heater is on.

Probably will get myself another pair.

These are incredibly comfortable, sturdy, and well constructed and are quickly becoming my favorite winter pants. I’m petite 5’3″ 115 lbs and found that while the size 2 fit me well around the waist/hips, they were waaay too long and baggier than I would prefer.

I liked the look and feel of them so much (and flannel lined women’s pants are so hard to come by) that I ended up getting them hemmed and tapered by a tailor. In my eyes it was worth the extra time and money because the quality is clearly so high that I know I’ll be wearing them for years.

The fleece lining in these jeans is noticeably thinner than the lining in the Carhartt version they replaced and the stitching is sloppy around the buttonhole, so the button frequently snags on loose threads when putting them on.

On balance, for the price, I rate them as adequate.

we have been purchasing fleece lined jeans for years now. love these” lee” fleece lined jeans. we only wish they made them in cargo style as well, so there would be more pockets.

After living in Wisc and Minnesota for almost 30 years, I finally bought flannel lined pants. I see now that they go along with a snow blower and having a space for each car in the garage. Somethings are worth the effort in the upper Midwest.

I bought two pair of jeans to see which would better fit. The size above my normal was too large even if it shrunk. I took my normal size, they shrunk about a half size, but are fine. They’re keepers!.

Great denim material, medium light flannel liner, very comfortable. Even when transitioning from cold to warmer temperatures during the day. Excellent pocket design and locations, just perfect. Strong stitching.

Belt loops and pocket cutouts in proper positions. Great deep pockets. Classic stylish looks, great straight leg loose fit. I have loved these work jeans for 6 years, each last me about 2 to 3 years, then takes on home yardwork duty.

these are a great pair of pants ; very comfortable , and keep me nice and warm! I liked them so much I bought 2 more pairs and now have 3 in all and can ware them during the week and stay nice and warm more then just once a week.

I owned a pair of flannel-lined jeans from another vendor that I really liked, but when I went to that vendor to purchase another pair a year or so later, I discovered that the cut had been changed and whether I sized up or not, they simply didn’t fit as the original pair I owned did.

It’s not easy to find clothing one is happy with, so I was pretty bummed. I own several other Duluth clothing pieces and have been really happy with them, so when I saw these, I was willing to consider them.

Unfortunately, 2020 has not been kind and as a result, visiting the store in person, while still allowed, isn’t really an option I’m willing to take at this point. Still, I really needed a good pair of flannel-lined jeans, so when the sale popped up, I decided to take a chance.

Now, most women will tell you that finding jeans that they love is hard enough to do, but it seems that flannel-lined jeans are even harder to find than dragon’s treasure, so while I was willing to deal with the potential of needing to return these pants, I was cautiously optimistic that they’d work, given that I’ve liked all my other Duluth Trading purchases.

I placed the order to reflect my regular jeans size, realizing that these lined jeans might be too tight. (Really, who hasn’t gained that quaran-TEN. pounds this year?) When they arrived, I left them alone for a few days.

After all, we had some warm weather for a few days there, so I didn’t really need the extra flannel layer. But then, the cold winds came and convinced me that I needed to try them on, if only to get them back in the mail to return for a different size or whatever.

But, boy, was I surprised! These jeans fit perfectly. And I mean PERFECTLY! The other vendor’s flannel-lined jeans are stiff, with little stretch-ability and while I like those, they don’t fit nearly as well.

These Duluth Trading flannel-lined jeans are extremely flexible and are cut generously to allow breathing room. I’ll be wearing these all winter!.

I’ve purchased these previously, in mens sizes, for my husband and son, many times but never for myself. I finally purchased a pair for me and they are now my favorite jeans! They fit perfectly! They are warm! They are the perfect length! They are well constructed! I’m really happy with this purchase! Now I need more so I have them for everyday of the freezing Illinois winter months! I’m a ceramicist, my studio can be cold when the kiln isn’t running, so now I’m warm while at the potters wheel and glazing.

5’8, 174 lbs. Usually I am a size 8 across the board. The pants fit ok, but they are such “high waters” on me that I am reselling. I ride cowhorses, i’m in the saddle a lot and even just standing normally with square toes on these are very short on me.

They rise about 5-7 inches even more when I am in the saddle and look ridiculous. Otherwise theyre pretty ok! Duluth, please consider making tall options for your ladies who aren’t 5’4 and under. Taller “Working women” care about appearance as well.

Unfortunately my earlier purchases of LLBean’s flannel lined jeans are now tattered from wear, causing me to order new ones online. The inner flannel lining on the pair I received was much smaller than the exterior blue jeans layer – so much so that the jeans looked baggy although the flannel was too tight around my legs.

Their Medium Tall length has always fit – now, this length barely reaches my ankles. Is there no longer quality control? As a further insult, LLBean requires me to pay for shipping to return their defective blue jeans.

Instead, I’ll return them this summer when I’m back in LLBean country. Very disappointed with what used to be a great product and wish I could have given them a zero star rating.

Warm and comfortable, nonetheless not something I will wear. There are horizontal stripes of faded color across the entire front stomach area. A deal-breaker for me. Not at all obvious in the website pic unless you magnify it a lot.

Sorry, LL Bean, but I don’t like the striped look! If the stripes weren’t there I would keep it and probably buy another pair as well, but as it is, this item will probably be returned. A real shame, as other than the stripes, it is very nice.

PRO – These are lined – you can feel how heavy you are when you pick them up – and I think they would really provide extra warmth, great for outdoor socializing. The flannel inside feels super nice. CON – I usually wear a 4P but because of the reviews I ordered a 6P.

They fit very nicely in thighs and butt but the waist was WAY too tight even though I have a fairly proportionate shape. I feel like these pants are made to fit Jessica Rabbit. Thinking about returning and trying a size 8 but my intuition says the waist on those will still be very small since it doesn’t seem proportionate to the rest of the pant.

These are indeed nice and warm but there are some issues with fit. This is my fourth pair of Duers and the fit works the least for me. I almost returned them but in the end have kept them. I wish they had a higher rise.

The seams feel thick in the crotch area (because the denim is thick) making them uncomfortable on long commutes. They certainly are warmer than regular denim though.

Very good quality, looks great. The fabric is soft inside and out. The waist is a slightly bigger than expected so the fit wasn’t perfect in my case. The fabric is not quite as breathable as the performance jeans which is expected.

I would say that they are a bit more warm than regular jeans, but a bit less than what I expected.

Material is very cozy with a nice amount of flex. Fits just like other Duer/Dish Slim Straight/Straight and Narrow jeans, though stiffer due to the thicker fabric. So excited to have a warmer version for the winter! These look fantastic to boot.

Oh how I wanted these to work for me!! I’m 5’2” and long in torso. I wanted to wear them w low profile sneakers. The inseam was too long for me, the pant legs bunched at my ankles. They do look okay with high heals however I wanted these to be walk around travel pants to be paired w cute comfy sneakers.

I can see how they would work for someone w longer legs or wanting to wear heels. Agree w sizing down, they were not too snug.

I have been eyeing these pants across different retailers. eventually I just went for it because I couldn’t find another pair that fit the bill (slim coated joggers with buttons. everything else was drawstring, not slim, too patent-faux-leather, etc).

These look great on. I’m an athletic build with a perky derriere and muscle-y thighs. I think my body type looks different than the photo but great in the joggers. I would say they run big at my size – i’m usually more of a 25 but the 24 fit perfectly.

But, they do have belt loops, so if you feel like you want a more ‘relaxed’ look, you could probably stick with your normal size and belt if the waist stretches. These might not work for taller people.

I’m 5’6″ with shorter legs than torso, and they’re the perfect length for me, just hitting the top of my Sam Edelman boots I bought in the same order here. but the model is obviously tall and they work, so idk!.

I saw these pants at another retailer and thought well I could probably wear them for almost anything. I’m usually a size 28, but bought these in a size 27. They’re fabulous you can wear them with sneakers heels to go out on date night or funky platform ankle boots.

They’re worth they’re worth the investment. If they made them in other colors, I would probably buy all of them. !.

This pair of jeans is the epitome of perfect! They are really wide at the bottom (which I absolutely love!) and makes me look thinner at the top. They remind me so much of the early 2000s! Your bum also looks amazing! The material is stretchy too, so yes, you could go down one size.

I really enjoy this with any top—dress it up with a blouse or just a tee, it will give you a stylish look. It has a raw hem, so I just cut the jeans myself to fit my height. I immediately ordered the lighter shade as well.

These pants are a game changer. So comfortable, flattering, and the widest flare. I hate things tight so I always order TTS, but they do stretch a bit so if you’re between sizes, definitely size down.

Raw hem so you can cut if you’re short. And the patterns just KEEP GETTING BETTER! You will not regret these babies!.

I love Free People. Colors are so versatile, the fit is great, they run a tad long but wore a chunk heeled boot and the length was perfect. Every time I wear them I receive multiple compliments. They are so fun… just buy them!.
