20 Best Women’S Folding Bike (2022 Updated)

I can only review unpacking and getting the bike ready to ride. This bike was shipped folded and very well padded for protecting it during shipment and unpacking. I liked this very much. I wish the owners manual was out in with the storage bag, instead of under a cardboard protector covering the seat.

But I’m sure others knew to look for it with the seat. Unpacking\unfolding the bike went well, even before I found the instructions. It pays to be patient when doing this, i. e. straightening the frame at the main hinge.

There is a lever here that if in one position the frame won’t completely straighten, but if you move it all of a sudden the hinge accepts the closing action you want to do. A check of how everything works was on point.

All seems to be working fine. The tires are a little low for me, but I’m not concerned or complaining at all. A quick short test ride was great. The bike feels steady and secure. The seating position, once adjusted for height, felt like other bikes and the handlebars are very much the same.

The bike looks European, maybe it reminds me of the Vespa scooters. So while I’m a grown man I don’t think I’ll think of the low step over as being a “girls” bike. But rather a cool looking bike everyone can ride.

Bough this second hand even though i didnt like the shape i wanted to give it a try as my 1st folding bike without upgrades saddle is very stiff, grips no good unless you wear gloves, folding takes some time and you need a bungee cord and yes its heavy riding with original crankset 42t you have to pedal faster while you hurt your knees with that being said not good for long distance ride or commute.

Now with upgrades much better saddle, palm grips, crankset 48t with that i can pedal faster and gained 3-6mph and travel longer depending on the road while only hurting my thighs and not my knees. This bike is best suited for elders 60+ unisex.

Great for flat land easy cruising, not hills. Does ok on dirt but best used on pavement. Its well made, except the plastic fenders seem pretty cheap. I bought it to throw (@33 lbs. heaving is more like it) into my sedan trunk and be able to transport a bike without assembling a bike rack onto my car.

Just newly arrived, shipping went well, fast and no damage. Took it out yesterday and like it but its not my hybrid mountain/street 12 speed bike, so will have fun with it doing what it can!.

20 inch bike is easy to assemble. Rides great on pavement and sandy, muddy trails. Smooth, easy shifting. I stand 4’11” and it fits me perfectly. The seat is very comfortable. Terrific braking. I was pleasantly surprised by this little gem.

This is a great bike! Especially if you do not have a truck. I like to put this bike in the trunk of my car because its foldable. The only flaw that I have with the bike is that the seat is very uncomfortable.

I would suggest getting a seat cover something that is more comfortable.

This folding bike works great. You may not realize it but even the best top brand of bicycles need to be assembled and adjusted out of the box at the bike shops before you can use them. This bike was no different.

A cone on front was ever so slightly over tightened and the the derailleur allowed the chin to go a bit too high. After those minor adjustments with the help of a couple of YouTube videos, this bike has been great!.

I love my bike. It is very comfortable and feels safe. I haven’t been riding a bike since my childhood, and I wanted to buy this bike because it is cute and I can fold and bring it with me to adventures.

I rode 300 km during the summer and dropped it once. I think it got an issue with the gear switching after that. So I was looking for warranty information and tried registering my bike. Then I realized I didn’t receive my bill and the serial number on the bike and the warranty document are different.

I wonder if you could help me with this.

I bought this ZIZZO folding bike in late October. It arrives a week later. Well packed and all assembled. I unfold it without problems following the instruction. Some of the locks were very stiff. It needed some adjustment and tune up.

Since i do not have the tools and experience, i took it to my favorite bike shop and left it with the technician. 3 days later i got back the bike. It is well made and solid. The handling is deferent then my regular bike but after few rides i got use to it.

This bike is excellent for easy rides and daily exercises. It has only 7 speeds. I folded the bike myself and it went pretty well. I like the bike because it is easy to handle and also the folding bike is very useful and not that heavy.

I’m very happy with this purchase and i would recommended it with 5 stars satisfaction.

This bike is built very well, they really thought it through. The mechanisms for folding the bike have push tabs before folding to ensure safety. It is very sturdy and the welds are strong. We bought them to take camping.

(Two other couples we camp with have also bought them) The best part was the price, using the 20% coupon. Always check with Bed Bath and Beyond before purchasing something, who would have thought they sold folding bikes!.

This bike is very sturdy and reliable! You can bring it anywhere, its lightweight and fits in any car. The fold is quite simple, folds in seconds with minimal effort. Aside from the product, the customer support here is excellent in handling questions and concerns about your purchase.

Vilano Urbana Single speed is great for flat roads, fits really well in the back of an SUV, indeed it occupies only 35% of the space, leaving room for other things! My commute is about 5-6 miles with only 100-200ft elevation gain.

Single speed and coaster brake mean less moving parts and hence low maintenance. The only (and the biggest) drawback is, there is only one brake (rear-coaster): So imagine yourself riding a downhill (about 20+mph) and the chain drops from the cog or buckles-up, there is absolutely no-way to stop the bike! This is really scary (and I witnessed this situation myself 🙁 ).

So make sure you tighten the chain appropriately.

Love how simple this bike is. It came mostly assembled & only required some minor tweaking out of the box. Very light weight and less things to break without hand brakes and gears. Very similar to my name brand folding bike but at half the price.

received defective on rear wheel free hub, customer service ask me for warranty claim for repair. I’m not buying a bike to be refurbished even before using it. not happy with the product. shouldn’t be this way.

I was concerned about this purchase as I had originally intend to go British! Delighted that I did. The bike does exactly what I wanted – trouble free commuting. I was particularly pleased to find that the machine arrived with mudguards and a rack which are not shown in the image ion the Halfords site.

Well built little bike that is light weight and made of aluminum so wont rust. Rides well. Shifts smoothly.

Cant ride too fast, but it is a good quality, if I buy the second cycle will be the tern ,it look better, faster.

Purchased the Zizzo Campo using a BBB discount coupon. The bike was delivered in 6 days. Minimal assembly was needed. Removed the front and rear reflectors and added head and tail lights. After checking tire pressure and adjusting the seat, I took it for a spin.

It was a great smooth ride. Shifting gears was very easy and the non adjustable handlebar stem were perfect for my 5’11″height. The folding and unfolding took less than 30 seconds. I checked other folding bike brands and found the Zizzo to be of exceptional quality at a great price.

It also fits perfectly inside my small travel trailer.

We bought this for our daughter. We got it on a discount (RedCard 5% plus Circle 15%). My husband was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the bike, and he knows about bikes. He assembled his own bike from the ground up.

He said the welds (seems like thick machine welds), parts, and folding design was really top notch and good value for the price we paid. The pictures do not do it justice, you have to see the bike up close.

He did the pre-ride check and there was basically nothing to tighten and adjust, nuts and bolts were tight; brakes were solid; and shifts were accurate. His only comment is that being that it is a folding bike design, it had a different feel (but you will get used to it) from a regular bike when it comes to turning and balancing due to the small wheels and tall handle bar stem.

Overall it was a really good buy with the discount and he is thinking about getting the heavy duty Forte (300 lbs. weight limit) for himself if there is a deal or discount at Target again.

BB&B is the best. Prompt shipping; 20% off. The bike arrived with slight damage to the metal tab that holds the magnet. Rather than return the bike, BB&B agreed to an additional 10% off. Bike rides smooth and is a pleasure to ride.

We bought in August 2 e-bikes. One was the M-140 P7 and the other was M-140 R7. I will review here only the M-140 P7. all over the bike is nice and meets our expectation. We never had an e-bike before, I tried to have a ride with a competing company but due to COVID it was not possible.

I gave only 4 out of 5 stars due to the assembling process. The manual is far from perfect but having enough technical skills the outcome was OK. I had a problem when I installed the front wheel because somehow the fork was not wide enough so I had to enlarge the space a little with the screw that was there, finally it was a success.

The derailleur did not work well and the front brake needed also some adjustments. As said I am not afraid to do this myself so with You Tube and some previous experience I fixed everything. Not a big deal but for the money I would expect a flawless process.

All over we are very happy, this is my wife’s bike and we are riding it 2-3 times a week. It is a pleasure to ride the bike once it has been tuned. We are in our late 50s not very active so this bike made us to some workout in a pleasant way.

For a lady like me, it wasn’t hard at all the assemble the remaining 20% when the bike arrived. The manual and instruction are very clear and well written. The quality of this bike is excellent. Very well built frame.

High quality material. My family loves this bike and we are planning to get a 2nd one real soon, since we fighting almost everyday for this bike. Smooth riding, powerful engine. It took me and my family around the city with no hard time at all.

I love this bike! I’m 75 and haven’t ridden a bike for over 40 years. This 20″ fat-tire bike is such that I can keep both feet flat on the ground when stopped, preventing falls due to over balancing like my regular bike.

The pedal assist is wonderful! I can enjoy riding again even with my bilateral knee replacements. It shifts smoothly and holds a charge well. I haven’t tried the folding part yet, but look forward to being able to have it fit in my trunk.

I would recommend this ebike to anyone.

This is a fantastic mountain bike. unboxing was a little tricky but with little patience its easy and pretty straightforward. Just needed a little support with the seat because its quite painful when you drive a long distance seating down.

I would definitely recommend to a friend. 90/100 for me.

The folding is mostly a source of noise and doesn’t quite serve the folding purpose. Folding the bike is quite complex and the space it saves is not much. It doesn’t hold still and needs the pedals to hold straight.

The bike stand is a joke, it’s too straight so the bike doesn’t hold and falls down. The gears are a bit off and need some tweaking but otherwise good. For the price I was expecting more.

It’s lighter than expected and it’s a good thing,is basically a 27’5 Carrera bike but folding,the main wrong part is the seatpost that should be longer in a bike like this and the seat clap that is poor,all other things are ok,brakes are europeans/American,if you want to move to UK the outers are too shorts,there are things that should be improved,otherwise is a good bike for the price.

Front derailleur is poor quality,is better to replace with something better after a while.

So I was really not so sure about cycling balance or support during the ride. As a woman (not too tall one tbh) I used to have in the past some mountain bikes, and never enjoyed women classic bikes, due to their size and shape.

Since I need to travel to work, I needed something reliable. And as an active person that visits gym or run, I was looking for something speedy. I made some research, heard some bad comments about Brompton or foldable bikes in general, but in overall decided to give it a go, despite the general opinions on the net.

It turns out, that once I started traveling on this “little thing”, everything was so easy! Of course that vehicle is not designed for a wild ride in nature like a mountain bike, but if we talk about town cycling, road cycling and some more relaxing driving activity, this A line model is doing the job.

Folding seemed to be quite complicated at first, but once I learned order of it, it’s a very fast thing – so no matter if I wanna get into bus, metro line or into gym or other building, I may easily get in with this bike.

Some people warned me, that after folding this bike will be heavier than a regular one, but I am not feeling that it is too weighty for me. In fact, if I fold it, I get more space in shed, or could easily keep it in my room or in the kitchen for example.

I tested it in the town, on the fields, one some mixed ground, and there is a bit of shaking, but nothing interrupted my ride or stopped it. It appear quite manageable, nothing happened with chain/gears/seat/wheels, so this Brompton quality remains the same.

After cycling in various weather and conditions, I don’t see any marks or scratches being made. This bike is white, so presumably it is easier to make it dirty in very visible way, but I never experienced that so far.

I am still missing a bit quality of a ride typical for mountain bikes, but after starting my journey with Brompton, I would not change it for any other model. I might easily give it the rating 8. 5 out of 10, due to what I had mentioned above.

If you prefer quality over the numbers, and the bike appearance is not something you would reject the vehicle for – then there you go. Brompton might be more like a “retro” looking thing, which is not something every cyclist would love, but given a chance, it can make your cycling experience more comfortable and unique.

After watching lots of YouTube videos I decided on this Brompton. A bit expensive but reading that it’s been designed partly by the Maclaren motor racing team you have to trust that the name stands for something.

Well. I was not disappointed. This bike is a joy to ride so easy and that is without using the assist mode. When using the assist mode it is effortless. Well worth the price tag. And it should last a long time if looked after properly.

I did have one issue at first as I could not make it stay clipped together when folded but after working out the physics of what was actually happening I can now fold it in about 5 seconds. It was to do with the little wheels being on the floor and the back wheel lifting the frame upwards.

This means that if you decide to push it using the saddle you have to make sure the bike stays with the little wheels firmly on the floor I am now looking for cycle routes to use in my free time and not just keeping the bike for my commuting.

Bought one to take to France for my summer holiday as the roof was full of kayaks and boxes. I really didn’t expect it to be as good or fast as it is. I fitted my own straight handlebars, Charge Spoon saddle, Shimano SPD pedals, Zefal Tri saddle mount bottle holder and some other bits and pieces and I’m about to fit Brompton flexi mudguards and upgraded Eazy Wheels.

My only issue was that my model has a 44T chainring instead of the standard 50T. I am used to spinning as I ride single speeds a lot of the time (I have 8 bikes) but the gearing is just a little too low for me.

I was being overtaken by guys on carbon framed road bikes and I could suck their wheel for a few hundred metres by spinning like crazy but then I’d get dropped. If I had a 50T or even 54T chainring I think I’d give a road bike a run for its money.

I will be upgrading my chainring and chain meaning my £850 bike will ultimately cost me the best part of £1,200 after all the upgrades!.

This is the perfect bike for the RV world! It is nice and light to fold up in my Featherlite Coaches under storage bay. Within seconds of unfolding the Buzz bike, I have the power to climb the mountains of North Carolina with ease.

I had the opportunity to trial ride this bike. The first appeal of this bike was its size and folding feature. The wow appeal of this bike was the speed adjustments coupled with the electric boost. This allowed the rider to coast at times and to boost the power in order to manage hills and higher inclines.

The bike provided you options to have a day of exercise or a day of just cruising. I loved it.

Great looks. Peddle assist was responsive, I am average size male and was able to go up hills with ease, preference would be for a slightly larger tire on the same bike. Overall enjoyed the bike.

My five star rating is strictly based on the bike itself. The service prior to picking up the bike from my local REI store (Austin,TX) was a horrible experience. Techs had zero knowledge of the foldable bike and I had to make two 80 mile round trips to finally get my bike.

But if you want the best, Brompton is the Rolls Royce of all foldables. All Bromptons are handmade in London. Always request for the box, for future shipping. These bikes fit in the overhead bins if you fly or fit under your office desk.

Perfect commuter. This is my 8th Brompton in the last 32 years. I love them.

The product itself is 3 stars. The customer service and help is 5 stars easily. The product is overall good. It’s light, easy to carry, and rides fine. The downside is that the paint EASILY chips off; there’s practically no top protective coat.

Also the biggest downside is the packaging configuration. My product was received as damaged and couldn’t even be ridden at all (the two halves weren’t flush when mated). I’ve also seen and read other reviews that the wheel comes damaged among other problems.

The solution is better packaging. The product currently comes folded with the seat separate in a large cardboard box with minimal cushioning on the handlebars and other sensitive areas. I’m afraid to even take this bike with me on a plane in fear that it’ll come out damaged since it couldn’t survive the initial truck trip.

Fortunately the customer service is excellent and the employee who helped me was apologetic and swift with his replies and gave me a replacement within two days. I am now very pleased with my bike, but wish these downsides are fixed in the future.

We bought these bikes for our kids to take back to college with them so they could get around campus faster. OMG!!! It’s been a few months now and the bikes have been a total WIN!!! They fold and fit perfectly in the trunk of the car.

Lock easily to bike racks on campus, and even small enough to take in their dorm when necessary. Super light weight and easy to put together. Packaging is perfect, shipping was fast. The colors are cool and the look is sleek.

The handlebars and seat height are adjustable. Both my kids are about 6ft tall, and it is perfect for them. I will say, we did have to replace both back innertubes, but other than that, this bike is AWESOME! We made a video of the assembly and ride.

Pretty soon I’m going sailing, not far, just G_____ and S_____ coasts and offshore. So, for a new transportation option, I bought 2 folding Judd Retrospec bikes. I live in pretty flat country (Florida) so a single-speed coaster-brake bike is perfect for my needs.

I don’t need a bike with hand brakes and gears on a folder. To me, it seems like these add a lot of complexity when simplicity is the goal. If you live in very hilly terrain, maybe your needs are different.

The 20″ wheels are not rare, they are super common. They sell tubes and tires at Walmart and everywhere. I know this for a fact, I’ll get to this later. My wife and I and I just went on a one-week vacation 90 miles south near D____ Beach.

Normally, I put a rack on the back of our car and attach 2 full size 26 inch tire bikes. This time, I just put our 2 new Judd folding bikes inside the cargo area in the back, along with all our luggage.

We went on several epic beach community bike rides of up to10 miles. These folding bikes are GREAT. In about 2 minutes you forget they have 20 inch wheels. The saddle and handlebars are as high as on a regular full-size bike.

They ride like any single-speed coaster-brake bike. Very solid, and super maneuverable on tight twisty sidewalks and so on. If you are used to hand brakes and gears, the bigger adjustment is to the coaster brake and no hand brakes, especially when stopping and starting at intersections etc.

But you get used to it quickly, it’s just another way of riding a bike. Folded, they fit in a box that is 1′ X 2′ X 2. 5′. They weigh about 21 pounds. You can easily carry one onto a metro train, or put them into a regular car.

You can put one on the back seat, one in the trunk, and put luggage around them, to take 2 in one car. Folded, the two rubber tires are level and parallel, so you can pull them around like luggage with wheels.

You don’t have to carry them. I agree with all the very positive reviews on the Retrospec website. I am definitely not a “bot!” You can take these on a train as easy as a suitcase, backpack or rolling luggage.

When you get out at your destination, instead of 1. Walking a few miles or 2. Paying for an Uber or taxi, you just unfold your bike and go. Then you can explore your new town or whatever you want to do at the perfect tourist speed.

Walking is too slow, driving is too fast. You stop anyplace with no car-parking hassles. I only bought these 2 bikes because I’m going sailing in G____ and S_____, and I’ll be anchoring and using a dinghy, so I wanted bikes I could store easily inside the boat, then transport to shore in the dinghy.

Honestly, being used to full-size bikes, I did not have very high expectations. But I am very happily surprised by how great these Judd folding bikes are to ride. The 20″ wheels are forgotten in minutes.

They ride just like full-size bikes, and I am a 26″ mountain bike fanatic for many years. One quibble, and maybe I over-inflated the rear tire on my bike (I weigh 220#), but I popped the rear tube after about 30 miles of riding it like a “regular” bike.

This means I don’t slam curbs, but I don’t “baby” a bike either. I replaced the rear tube on my bike with a heavy-duty tube, and since the wheel was off, I put on a heavy duty 2″ BMX tire, (1. 75 is original).

Maybe better suited to my weight! The tire and tube change was very easy. I am not complaining, just explaining. I weigh more than most and ride bikes pretty hard. I love this bike. I ride it for fun around my neighborhood because it’s more accessible than my 26″ mountain bikes.

I bought this after seeing that it *could* be carried as checked luggage if it was partially disassembled. It can be broken down and packed in a suitcase, but reassembling it proved to be more difficult than I wanted when traveling.

If you’re looking for a bike to pack, a Brompton or a Tern BYB is probably a better fit. If you’re looking for a general purpose folding bike to store indoors or fit in a car trunk, this bike will work well.

I like the included cargo rack and bungee cord. The cord wraps around the rack and stays completely clear of the wheel.

I wanted a bike that I could easily travel with or take on a small boat to bike at my destinations! I was worried I wouldn’t be able to fold/unfold easily but I had zero difficulties! Its a solid bike and offers a smooth ride! My only quip was that is comes with a very cheap “bike bell” that immediately broke when I first folded up the bike.

REI did offer a replacement bell so I appreciated that! Overall Im happy with my purchase!.

In general, the Tern suits my needs well; it appears to be well made, is comfortable and folds up easily. However, for $850 I expected metal fenders — not plastic. Also, the bike appears to be missing a cap at the bottom of the seat post.

I bought 2 of these for my wife and myself. They arrived in perfect condition and are packaged very securely. The bikes assemble in about 1 hour each and have pretty good instructions. These bikes fold up and I can fit them into the back of my SUV.

Upon riding, these bikes move quick and went through Florida sugar sand with ease. We found they handle great on or off road. As for the range on a charge with no peddling, I get about 26 miles. One of the best features is that you can ride them in 3 modes; peddle assist, full electric or peddle only.

I bought this newest e-bike last week. It is so cool, it has larger battery than 48V folding fat bike. It also has the colorful screen, so nice. My wife likes it very much. She sometimes ride it for shopping on weekend.

Lots of people asked her where she bought it. She is so proud of it. We love it very much. We decide to buy another one soon. The front light and rear rack also are quality and useful. The front suspension fork improve its value.

We bought two Ecotric Folding Fat Tire Bikes from Upzy. The came promptly, and were securely packaged. They were easy to assemble. They look bigger and more substantial in person than they do in the pictures.

They roll very easily on pavement, even with the fat off-road tires. They have plenty of torque. The speed is good, though they do not go as fast downhill as a regular bike. We have ridden them on and off road.

In sand and dirt, they are surprisingly able. They do well on hills, though the steep ones will cause the motor to bear down. That is to be expected. I took one bike 21 miles one day, and still had about half the battery remaining.

We took then to a family reunion, and everyone was able to ride them, from the shortest young ladies to the tallest (6’4″) men. The handlebars and seats adjust very easily to accommodate anyone. Some of the men weighed 225-235, and they handled even them with ease and comfort.

Everyone was blown away by them! The pedal assist is effective. A plus with these bikes is that the throttle is always available, and cancels out the pedal assist, so if you get to a stoplight and forget to shift down, you can just engage the throttle until the bike is going, and no problem, the pedal assist can take over again whenever you’re ready.

I took the bike to work, mostly uphill for 8 miles. I got there in one-half hour (it takes 20 minutes by car). I was not sweaty and winded, but I felt like I have a good workout, which is just what I wanted.

You can get as much or as little exercise as you want. We took our two bikes 650 miles to Arizona in the back of our Chevy Volt, and they fit beautifully. Very impressed. Warning: When you ride them, be ready to talk about them with everyone you meet!.

The technician showed me how to fold and unfold the bike. That was fun. Then he carefully walked me through the operation of such key components as the computer and the hydaulic brakes. He answered all my questions.

About what to do if I lose both keys to the Bosch battery, which COULD happen, he advised me not to lose them. Later I discovered that the manufacturer of the keys (not Bosch, not Tern) can provide a replacement AS LONG as I keep a record of the number inscribed on the each key.

Phew! I learned that from one of the manuals and double-checked it online on the key-manufacturer’s website. As for riding the bike, I am doing as told and carefully reading all 5 Bosch manuals first plus the Tern manual before my initial ride (in a parking lot).

I like the part where several manuals say that before each ride, one should drop the bike and listen for anything that rattles. Great advice, actually! The manuals are very well written, have excellent illustrations and are packed with thoughtful advice.

Like, no wheelies. Also, I found that signing up for an extended (10-year) warranty is free. (Not sure if that means I’ll be sending data to the company for a longer period. My guess is yes. ) The main thing I need to learn asap is how to take off the R pedal so I can more easily roll the bike from the R side when the bike is folded.

I suggest the technician teach that up front.

I was late in the game searching for a folding e-bike and I was so excited to see that Scooteretti was going to get some Tern Vektron Q9 in stock. I ordered one and it arrived sooner than expected. There are some great online videos explaining how the bike works- it’s pretty simple.

It has exceeded my expectations. I like that both my husband and I can share it and can easily adjust the seat height and handle bars to fit our needs. I also really like that the bike comes with so many features built in, like the lights, the back rack and fenders.

The only thing I’ve changed is the bell – I wanted one that could be heard. I’ve also added a mirror- there’s enough room on the handle bar to do this. Looking forward to getting in lots of trips. I use it for city riding and I’ve already ridden further than I usually do- I laugh at hills and headwinds!.

this is now ebike #3 from Martin and the crew, fantastic service, tolerable coffee and plenty of bike porn to look at after i’ve finished shopping for what i need. As usual Martin listened to what i wanted to use the bike for, and then recommended the most appropriate solution (which wasn’t the most expensive 🙂 ) the tern is a great bike, i use it for the end of a commute in london after parking up, it is a little bigger and heavier than say a non motorised brompton, but, and its a big but, it rides like a normal bike – no twitchiness, no wobbling, quick and direct steering, and goes like stink.

Having ridden and owned hub and crank drive bikes, there is no comparison, assistance is quick, direct and torquey. the other to mention is the adjustability and flexibility – this bike adjust in seconds (bars and seat) to be comfortable for me (6’1 and too many kg) or my wife (5’2 and not) it also happily tows my little boy on his trailer bike, carries a laptop and a projector, fits in the lift and under the desk at work, and has lights, mudguards, a clever bungee system, and a chain tucked well out of the way so i happily ride it in a suit.

Equally it’s at home as part of our campervan travelling down gravel paths, old railway lines and the like. i’d reccomend this bike for anyone looking for a high quality, reasonably priced folder or even hybrid use bike.

I went to REI Boston to look at a road bike, but one of the staff there (who I believe was one of the most knowledgeable bike sales staff in the world) changed my mind. He was absolutely right. Before the purchase, I was worried about riding it for my 7-mile commute with one significant hill and some other minor ones.

But I have no problem and actually my commute time is shorter than what it used to be when I used my husband’s Cannondale hybrid. When I am feeling too tired to ride at the end of the day or when it is rainy out, I fold the bike and hop on a train.

I am really happy about this bike.

I am delightfully suprised that this bike rides as smooth and comfortably as it does. Sturdy and responsive, this ride is almost more enjoyable than my full size fun bike :-). Thanks REI for assembling and equipping me with an amazing commuter!.
