20 Best Womens Leather Gloves (2022 Updated)

Lands’End Leather Gloves for Women are the best quality I have found. Even better when on super promotions for a fantastic discount. This year I purchased the Grey and Navy. I really wanted to obtain the BLACK – but for some reason the black pair had a VERY STRONG CHEMICAL ODOR.

It is not a leather odor, but a chemical one that just did not dissipate even after airing out for several weeks. I did contact the Customer Service Department. I tried 3 times to order these gloves and 3 times I had to return – the odor was just so strong.

Even the other items in the delivery were effected by this odor. Really too bad because they are great gloves. The black color is the only pair that I had a problem. For further information, I ordered an XL because I do not like my gloves to be skin tight and they fit perfectly.

Even checking the reviews, there was no mention of this odor even though I did contact Customer Service about the situation. According to them, no one had reported such an issue. But after getting 3 pairs on 3 different orders, the problem does exist.

Sadly I had to return all of them.

I first bought them in navy and size SM which according to the size chart should have been perfect. They were too narrow and the blue not as far as beautiful and radiant as in the picture. I exchanged them for size M in grey.

The grey is pretty. Size M is barely wider (maybe 1/4 in in circumference if that) – the main difference is that the fingers are longer (which I did not need). So the fit is marginal at best. The leather is supersoft and nice.

They are not very warm (I did not expect that, I had the leather/cashmere combo on a previous pair from a different supplier). Just don’t expect too much. They will do the job for a few min scraping ice off your vehicle, or keep you warm in moderate cold (30’s).

Women’s EZ Touch Screen Cashmere Lined Leather Gloves – Radiant Navy. The leather of these gloves is very nice, and I liked the color. The touch-screen patched on forefingers and thumbs worked. The cashmere lining was soft and warm.

However, I returned these gloves because the fingers of my XL gloves were uncomfortably tight. I know that leather can stretch a bit, but these were so tight that I did not think that they could stretch enough to be comfortable to wear.

I was replacing a pair of cashmere-lined leather gloves without touch-screen patches (not from Land’s End) because I lost one of the gloves last winter. The gloves I was replacing were number-sized and I had bought the largest women’s size (can’t remember if it was 8 or 9; lost the glove with the size tag).

I don’t know if the tightness of the Land’s End gloves is due to them being S-M-L-XL sized instead of number-sized, or if they are just a different cut than the pair I was trying to replace. Very disappointed that these did not fit.

Even the medium feels tight, but would rather have them like that, than too loose. I haven’t used them yet, but looks like a well constructed pair of gloves.

I swear by these – 1 pair lasts a whole gardening year and I’m hard on gloves. I throw them in the washer and let them dry flat – they’re a little stiff for the first minute then loosen up. The seams hold up well.

They are my ONLY choice. I also keep a pair or two on hand for gifts for my gardening friends. Absolutely the best!.

I love these gloves so much i purchased another pair to have as a back up! The cowhide/suede material is thick enough to provide sufficient protection for your hands, and they are soft like they are already worn! These gloves fit true to size.

I recommend them, and recommend buying 2 pair.

I can tell it’s very high quality, and I am caught in admiration of the heritage and lengthy history. The material is easily some of the noticeably finest make I’ve ever interacted with in comparison to the cheap “wannabe” Chinese counterparts I’m used to, nowadays.

The glove’s fingers were almost a digit too long for my wife’s, but she wears them regardless, as they are still so nice and warm for her naturally icy fingers, as well as have good resistance from the elements.

Her hands are likely just small anyways, so its a non-issue for us and they look very distinguished on her (There is much left to be said about the clear comparable difference in craftsmanship). The cost is somewhat alarming, as someone who isn’t necessarily used to shelling out so much for an occasional article of clothing, but I knew what I was getting myself into and made the jump for such quality and support in what I assume is a traditional business.

My mindset with these is as any other I try to pursue; that I would rather spend 3x the cost on a single excellent pair of quality merchandise (that will last me my life), than buy five cheap knockoffs that fail me and cost more in the long run.

I truly wish my countrymen would follow in investing resources in these kinds of tasteful and refined options, opposing throwaway Walmart and Amazon garbage. (Especially in times of inflation, as we see presently, where we must invest in long-term quality goods to hold value.

These gloves are lovely, the construction is exceptional! It’s very rare to see a glove made from 1 piece of leather folded around the index finger, rather than the often encountered two pieces sewn together.

The benefit if this is sublet, but noticeable. The leather used to make this glove is soft and supple and feels exceptional, as dose the cashmere finish, which feels wonderfully soft and warm against the skin.

As with the blind stitched hem around the rim of the glove, it’s the little details that really make this glove a truly wonderful peace. I used the online size guide and found that the gloves I order fitted as I expected.

I personally found the glove was a tad long in the fingers, but unless you go bespoke, you’ll never get the perfect fit. I expect over time the glove will mould to my hand, alleviating some of the length.

But don’t let that put you off, every hand is different (perhaps I have shot fingers), and every hand deserves to be housed in a glove of this quality! My only feedback to Dents was that I felt the packaging and presentation could have been better.

They did write back to me explaining had I chosen the gift box, it would have been in line with what I expected. However, for a luxury brand as steeped in history as this, I would have liked to have been wowed by the whole buying experience, which for me included the packaging and presentation of the product.

My personal view is that when we buy luxury, quality and a piece of heritage such as this, we should feel special from the moment we decided to part with our hard-earned cash. For me this included the packaging and presentation.

Be it an exquisite soft touch presentation box lined with soft felt or the inclusion of a bespoke fragrance that greets you when you open the packaging for the first time. I believe it’s more important than ever to wow a customer these days, to ensure they return with a smile of their face and hopeful a with few friends who are also interested in experiencing a brief moment of delight.

A luxury brand steeped in heritage, for me, isn’t about the product, its about the way you make me feel when I own, wear or use the product. This feeling is built upon layers of touch points, each one of which should induce an emotional connection with the brand, leading to delight once I finally own, wear or use said item.

But hay, this isn’t a review of the packaging but of the glove, of which I can honestly say is exceptional and will not disappoint. :).

I bought these gloves in black, and also have the same style gloves in the same size 6 in the brown (also have 4 other pairs same size in other styles). I was somewhat disappointed that these gloves did not quite fit the same.

One thing to note is that this pair was made in the Philippines, so maybe they don’t use the same sizing measurements? I love that Dents are made in the UK, so disappointed that this pair was not. They were a fraction too tight, and when comparing the seam locations with my brown pair (which were also very recently purchased) you can see where the leather parts for the thumbs are smaller and higher, thus restricting movement a bit.

It just means I have to be extra gentle when wearing them in. It would be great if the website stated where the gloves were made, as I’ve noticed that they are never quite the same when the country of manufacture varies.

I would probably not have bought them if I knew they weren’t made in the UK. I would also REALLY love it if the ‘Made in. ‘ tags and the product care tags were not sewn inside the glove with the Dents brand tag.

The Dents tag is a soft cotton and I appreciate that they want branding somewhere on the product. But the Made In tag and care tags are the harsh plastic scratchy white stuff and are awful against the skin on the inside of the glove, and very difficult to cut off given they are sewn into the seam of the fine cashmere lining.

Please just have these tags as a loose card inside the box, not stitched into the glove.

I own *a lot* of gloves – at least 20 pairs, living in NYC requires it – these have jumped to the top of my rotation! Lovely, neutral oil grey that will go with camel, navy, or black topcoats, gorgeous leather, quality stitching, and better than standard cashmere knit lining.

The length adds warmth while being stylish slouched down, absolute no-brainer of an order. So much so that I already purchased three more pairs – the blue, and two pairs of the parchment as they will be harder to keep clean.

Very soft and well made. They are thin, which is ideal for spring and fall. The quality of Portolano is unbeatable. I have 3 pair of gloves from that company and you can’t ask for more.

Really lovely gloves. Be warned that they are supposed to be touch screen gloves, but I have found them difficult to use with a touch screen. The embroidered dot that is on the fingertip is bulky and not exactly in the right place so I have to be super intentional when using my phone while wearing the gloves.

I bought a pair of rabbit fur lined gloves from Dent’s Heritage Collection. Delivery was fast, in spite of me living in Sweden. On the negative side: the fingers are too long. Especially the thumbs look like they have been designed for an orangutan and could have been at least 8 mm shorter.

The wrist diameter is very narrow when the glove is buttoned even for my skinny arms and the button slit goes so far down that it partially exposes the palm of your hand. It is also worth pointing out that the price on the web site is NOT what you end up paying if you live outside the UK.

In my case, I had to cough up an extra 34% (ouch) in customs fees and import VAT. Dents also for some reason thinks that all of continental Europe is French speaking which makes it a bit hard. Apart from this, the gloves appear to be of high quality with nice seams.

Personally I really miss the bespoke gloves from Chester Jeffries but if you live in the UK and are equipped with exceptionally long thumbs, Dents is the brand for you.

I bought these gloves last year and they fit fine and I love them. This year I ordered the same gloves. when they arrived I could not get one on my hand. The sizing has changed. as I assure you my hand has not.

I contacted their cust serv. was told to return them. The problem is it will cost me as much to return them as it cost to buy them plus the time to go to the post. Anyway, very disappointed. Needed gloves (still do).

I will put them in a yard sale as I dont believe they will even fit an 8 year old.

These gloves are warm and feel so soft. The quality leather is beautiful! Perfect for dressy events or just keeping your hands warm when you get into a cold car. Love them!

I very much like these gloves, however, they run small. I got a large and have to tug them on and they are a bit tight. My hands are not large and I am not overweight. I would normally wear medium gloves.

I skied all last winter with gloves and decided to try to upgrade to mittens for warmth when the member coupons came in spring. These mittens are attractive, have nice features, and feel really toasty from body heat alone (inside the house, anyway).

BUT they are such a weird shape. I followed the size chart with a measuring tape, and thought a large would work. It fit well across, but the length was snug. That would have maybe been tolerable, but the thumb is completely bizarre.

Way too short, tight, and awkward all around. I don’t have mutantly shaped hands, so who knows. These were returned.

Without the liners on, the fingers were too short in relation to the palms. Couldn’t get my fingers in all the way to make use of the full length because of where the bottom of the fingers were sewn together.

The palms were too wide. Seems like the gloves were made for a man’s hand proportion with wider palms and shorter fingers. The liners fit perfectly. Wish the gloves fit like the liners. Couldn’t get the gloves on with the liners on.

Tried a large size also. Same problem with gloves but liners were too long.

Honestly. I can’t remember when I got these. I think I’ve had them for about 5 or 6 years and they are just now starting to wear out. They are very warm, durable, and fit well. They came with a goggle wiper on the left thumb (for wiping off ice) and is super convenient.

If you’re going to be skiing in sub 10 degree weather I’d recommend putting on thicker liners but the ones that come with the mittens work great otherwise. (I normally ski in 15-30 degree Fahrenheit temperature and almost never use hand warmers) I’ve never had a problem using the liners with my smartphone either.

All around a very good glove and I’m getting them again hoping they are as good or better than the first time around.

When arriving, I was excited about these gloves. Unwrapping the trappings as if a gift, these gloves were well wrapped inside tissue paper. Even the thumbs had fitted tissue over them protecting it further.

The glove itself is lovely and very soft. The lining inside the glove is easy for the hand to slip in and out without tugging. However, with my small-like hands, I shall need to send them back to size down to an 8 as these were 8.

Absolutely love my leather cashmere gloves! Perfect fit, and pleasurable to wear them. I purchased a pair for everyone in my family. I’m considering purchasing a pair in every color.

I’ve been using a pair of fake leather gloves with a wool lining for two winters now, but they were not that warm and fell apart last winter. I decided to upgrade to a real leather pair and I am very satisfied with this pair of gloves.

The genuine leather with a soft lining keeps my hands warm in the cold Colorado mornings while being grippy enough to drive in. They are much more supple than my last pair of gloves with a good amount of extra material/padding in the palm.

In general I can usually switch between an XL and L pair of gloves with the latter being a bit more form fitting. These gloves in a Large fit perfectly for me. If you are debating between L or XL, I would recommend a large.

They fit well but also give enough room to create an insulation pocket. I can drive, pull the keys out of my pockets, and use the buttons with little effort. The elastic around the wrist keeps the gloves in place while being easy to slip on and off.

I am confident enough in these gloves to drive my manual transmission vehicle if that is of any concern. I can see these gloves lasting for many years and I recommend anyone looking for a pair of leather gloves this winter.

Just picked these up in black. I had tried on a different pair in a LL Bean store in “Large” and they were a bit too tight – they were not the same model – I went ahead and ordered this model in “XL” from the website (i dont live very close to a store) and they are a little too large! Figures! They still fit well enough though and my fault.

I didnt think the size difference would be that great! I love these gloves, very warm and perfect for walking the dog on these cold days. Perfect and reasonable price given quality and warmth. Could use a little baffle or inside elastic cuff at the wrist though.

I started off with a large pair based on the fitting chart, but they were way too big. So I exchanged them for a medium size pair. So be wary of the Bean fitting chart. The leather while soft is very slick to the touch.

Even when you push your fingers to the end of the glove, it’s nearly impossible to pick up anything like a screwdriver, small rock, piece of paper, etc. The glove tips don’t become rounded, but rather stay flat, so that you’ve got this flat edge to use to pick things up.

What’s the point if you have to take off the gloves every time you want to pick something up? I suppose that they may become less slick with use, but again why buy something that has such a long break in period before it’s useful.

I have been coveting these leather gloves for a few years now. I ordered them as a Christmas present for myself. They’re beautiful, but small! I usually wear a size 8 glove. These are small. Since they’re leather, I will make them work.

I bought the largest size available. I think 8 or 8. 5 knowing they would be tight. However, the “cuff” area of the glove is made so small even my 97 year old TINY, under 90 pound mother couldn’t get her hand inside.

Really 5 stars for material, design and warmth, 0 stars because they were sold without a size. (They shouldn’t have been offered by anyone but a deep discounter. ) These are great — soft leather, warm, lined — gloves, but unwearable unless the purchaser lucks out.

I don’t know whether the decision to sell them without any indication of size was the manufacturer’s decision (or mistake) or Jessica London’s, but I would estimate that the pair I received were somewhere between 7.

5 and 8. 5. I had been looking for green leather gloves for a couple of years and thought I might get lucky. If you want a pair, I would definitely call and ask Customer Service if they are all the same size, or a grab-bag of all sizes.

I do think Jessica London could have done better than describing them as “one size,” which to me means “will fit several common sizes,” rather than “we don’t know what size these are, and it’s too much trouble to measure and mark them.

These gloves slip on and off with ease, but I am not afraid they will come off, unless I want them to. They don’t fit as tightly as I typically like my gloves to fit, but I could not even get a small pair on my hands when I tried them in the store.

I would recommend making a size in between the small and the medium for people who are are really in between the two. However, the size of the gloves, doesn’t affect my dexterity, its more of a personal preference, that I would like them to be tighter! The leather is super soft! The touchscreen compatibility is shaky, and works fine sometimes, and not at all others.

I would love some recommendations on how I may be able to make them fit my hands a little better, but that’s my only problem. Would 100% recommend these gloves!.

There is nothing to complain about with these gloves. The gloves are lightweight, super soft, and very comfy. Being able to use your phone with these on is an added plus. It works great. The interior wool is soft and comfortable.

It breaths nicely so your hands don’t sweat in there. They are very stylish and a great price point. Highly recommended. The sizing is pretty accurate but you have to measure precisely. Make sure you measure with your hand open and hand closed.

My size was very close to mid point of two sizes so I went with the lesser size. Leather softens and stretches with time so if you are on the lower end of a size, I would recommend going with the lesser size.

I’ve had these gloves for the better part of 2 years now so I believe I am now quite qualified to write a review on these pair of gloves. Firstly, if you’re expecting these gloves to keep you warm throughout the winter use my experience as a reference point.

Anything beyond -5° Celsius it will not keep your hands warm despite the wool lining in the gloves, I live in Toronto, Canada for reference. But other than that these pair of gloves are absolutely wonderful, the touchscreen addition to the index and thumb of the finger make it quite useful for using any touchscreen and if need be track pads as well.

The touchscreen coating used in the leather I believe will no doubt last for quite a significant amount of time so you need not worry about it. Additionally, it will still work if you clean and condition your pair of gloves as well.

But do beware of what conditioner you use as it may darken the leather of your gloves. In conclusion, if you’re looking to do some serious work in these gloves don’t, but if you just need them for everyday use and warm as these are dress gloves I will absolutely recommend them to you.

Be sure to measure your hand correctly and chose the right size for a snug fit as leather does stretch. Thank you for reading – John Doe.

Bought a 7. 5 & 8. 8 was a great fit, however the wrist area with the snap is VERY tight. Hopefully they will stretch a bit with wear. there should be two snaps or maybe a bit of elastic on each side.

I don’t have large wrists, so was surprised by how tight they are. They actually dig into your skin at the wrists. Also, I’ve been trying to return the 7. 5 size for 10 days now. Received the return authorization on 2/18 saying I’d receive a return shipping label.

4 days later no label. Sent an email and next day got a response saying they weren’t sure why I hadn’t received the label and would get back to me. A week has gone by, 2 more emails to them. No response?????.

I bought the Alessa blue driving gloves and am thrilled that they fit my hand and especially my fingers perfectly. I find with most gloves I have almost an inch of extra leather because my fingers are not that long.

Your gloves feel like they were custom made for me !!! The leather is soft and supple and the stitching is done beautifully and strong enough for lots of use for years to come. The colour is luxurious and very vibrant which I love.

Looking for some other pairs in turquoise and purple !!.

I ordered what has been my usual size, 7. 5 and they were too small, so I returned them. I took a chance on ordering an 8. 5 (as the 8 was sold out) and although I could get the 8. 5s on my hands, they were just wide enough around the hand but the fingers were cut SO tight, as well as the snap being very tight across my wrist (which would have stretched and loosened up) but the holes on the tops of the gloves did not fit where they should.

Overall, just a really ill-fitting glove for me. I wanted to love them! The leather was very nice and it was made well, just poor fit (at least for me).

I love these! I wore them the minute they arrived, ( it was about 0 degrees, no joke- we were in the midst of record-breaking cold temperatures), and my hands stayed warm. I usually like silk-lined gloves, but they were out of my size, so I bought these, and I am very glad I did.

The cashmere really makes a difference in keeping your hands warm. The only thing- I ordered my regular size, a 6, and they usually have to give a bit, but not these. They fit right away, so it may be that they run large.

No matter, if you order these, you’ll be pleased with them.

They look good and fit well. The gloves are lined and the leather is so soft. They come about an inch past my palm up my wrist. Good for driving. They go well with my jackets and fur coated. Good buy for the money.

I have a terrible time finding women’s gloves that fit and run true to size. I have never found a comfortable pair, even in gloves that were pricey. I have very long fingers, so the part of the glove between the fingers always lands higher on my hand then it should.

Very snug-fitting and uncomfortable to say the least. On a whim, I chose the largest size in this glove, and they fit like a dream. I am thrilled. Nice long area for fingers, roomy palm, and a longer than usual cuff.

Very warm as well. Highly recommended for folks with larger than average hands/longer fingers. I might add, great quality too.

These are beautiful gloves. However, I did use the size chart and ordered XL. The fingers were so long I could fold over nearly 1″ and they were overall very large. I gave them to my very large fiance and they fit him.

I am hesitant to reorder because the size chart is not accurate for fit and I don’t want to keep experimenting. How can an XL fit a size range of 7. 5-10″? Yet that’s what the chart shows.

My hands and fingers are always cold. These gloves should keep them warm during winter. I liked the leather exterior as it makes them look quite attractive and good to drive with. I bought a XL since I have a wide hand and since they had a glove inside a glove.

They fit great.

These gloves seem very good quality and look nice. I gave them as a Christmas gift to my grandma, and she was very happy with them. The lining seems really soft and warm. I didn’t love that the logo was impressed in the leather, but it’s pretty subtle.

Over all, would recommend! They look exactly like the photos and seem true to size.

These gloves are great for cool weather as it states they are, but not really suitable for anything colder than 30°. I live up in the northeast where we get harsh temperatures and they don’t seem to do much if it’s below freezing.

I was hoping that I could wear these while I drive since my steering wheel isn’t heated but sadly my fingers are still icicles.

I purchased these for my wife, looking for that super-plush, ultra-elegant soft leather look, feel, and scent, and with a smooth cashmere lining throughout. These were to replace a similar pair I bought her 33 years ago that are just now starting to wear out.

These MORE than fit the bill! These were exactly what she wanted and exactly what I had hoped when I bought them. and perhaps just a teeny bit better! These are identical to the “ideal” gloves I bought her 33 years ago and we expect they will equally last! She absolutely LOVES them, including the elegant look, excellent fit (sizing guide worked perfectly), the feel of them, the warmth and ability to move her fingers in them, and even just loves the way they smell! These are not “drugstore” gloves! These are very finely-crafted, exquisite-quality garments that are worth twice what they cost.

And this pair even has the touch-screen-enabling feature! So she can operate her iPhone with them on, including the touch screen in her car, etc. Just an outstanding product! I bought these clubs as a replacement pair to the exact same ones I’ve owned before. Apparently now the manufacturer is not sewing down the cashmere lining on the inside. Every time I pull my hands out, the lining comes with it.

Now I have a right hand glove that has a hole in the lining of the index finger because I was trying to push the lining back in with a pencil. You simply can’t put them back in once the lining has pulled out.

These gloves are as nice as photographed. The quality of the leather is high and the workmanship is perfect. The reason I purchased these was for ease of being able to touch a screen in my car, or text elsewhere, without having to take my gloves off.

Turns out, that feature only works some of the time. It is unpredictable enough that I usually have to take off at least one glove anyway. I am returning them as I already have black kid gloves which are lined in cashmere.

Paying for unpredictability in a feature which makes them special, doesn’t make sense.

Mother was delighted with her gift. States gloves are warm and really comfortable. She also suffers from Raynauds disease, so theebgth of the glove over the wrist is a real plus.
