20 Best Women’S Trucker Hats (2022 Updated)

Bought them for the convertible feature and hoping they would stand up better than my past convertible cargo pants. The material has been holding! So thats great! It can stand up to my abuse! But man those pockets and zippers were poorly thought out.

The side pockets are. next to useless. Unless you’re going to stand completely straight and dont move too much that day; do not put anything in them. The buttons are so far just for show and dont close easily due to a flap of material and they do not stay buttoned up.

Nor does it even really secure items in said pocket when you do manage to button the darn thing up. Buttoned up, ive had keys and phone fly right out of the pocket during a light jog across the warehouse floor.

The sad mid air cartwheel of my samsung as it broke free from its pocket confines. The pockets by the hips are also your typical uselessly small pockets fashion makers curse women with even. The zipper convertible part chaffs horribly.

there’s no soft protective material im used to having in other pants of this sort, so your skin is left raw from the constant rubbing if you’re doing anything active. They’re great for lazy beach dayz though or lounging at home so I dont want to get rid of them.

The button clasps to keep them on are crazy impressive strong though. I will give them that XD Im normally a size 1 (so i had to get a size 2 for these), and have skinny as heck lower thighs and leg but wide-ish hips in comparison if thats useful.

pros: relatively comfortable, pretty tough material, shockingly strong button clasps cons: useless pockets. useless pocket buttons. uncomfortable convertible zipper.

Loved the design and colors. But this hat is way too tall. I had read the other reviews saying this and thought maybe it was due to face shape, but nope, this hat is just too tall period. The construction felt ok, didn’t seem like it would have lasted a long time but it also didn’t feel cheap.

Wish I could have kept it but I ended up returning it.

Bought these for travel, and have used them almost exclusively for the past month. Bar a few minor issues, I’m very happy with them! Pros: + Comfortable! They’re lightweight and comfortable in multiple environments (i.

e. quick-drying when we got drenched, but light enough to wear when hiking in humid 30C). I wore them on multiple 2-4 day hikes, and never felt uncomfortable, even when sleeping in them. + Stylish. I got multiple unsolicited comments on how good they looked.

Most people didn’t even realise that they were hiking pants, and I felt perfectly happy wearing them in city environments without feeling out of place. + Versatile. I like the length of the shorts. When I tried on Prana’s Monarch pants, the longer shorts were immediately uncomfortable on my knees, even without walking, but these were a comfy length without looking nerdy.

And even though I initially thought that the pant length might be too long, it ended up being perfect with both hiking boots and sneakers. Cons: – As mentioned by others, the leg zippers are a bit tight.

I still found them perfectly comfortable to move in, and didn’t have any pain, but it was borderline. While I understand that this helps make the pants slimmer and better-fitting, the zippers should be expanded just slightly.

– The hip pockets are useless. They’re so tiny that they pretty well turn outwards as soon as I put the pants on, so anything that I might want to put in there would fall out immediately. They either need to be removed, or made deeper.

On the other hand, I found the buttons on the main pockets easy to undo with one hand. – The material doesn’t hold up all that well. The fabric inside of one of the knees (over, and just above, the zipper) is already pilling.

Further, there are multiple spots where a small snag on a branch or rock has pulled out threads; and the stitching around two of the pockets has a few loose ends. Although they have had fairly heavy use in the past month, I still wouldn’t expect to see this happening just yet, particularly given the price.

My partner’s hiking pants, which he has had for longer, was not damaged in the same way, even though we did the same hikes. Other comments (not good or bad): > As mentioned by another reviewer, the zippers for the pant legs close on the inside.

While it wasn’t a problem for me, I did think this was a little odd, as it means that they’re more likely to rub, be uncomfortable, and potentially damage the fabric. I would suggest that Prana close the zippers on the outside.

I love Billabong Truck hats. They are my fav! The mesh keeps you cooler than an all fabric baseball cap, and the prints are always fun and stylish. I’m not able to make some of the hats small enough to fit my head, but this one was perfect.

I have a really small head. So this hat on it’s tightest fit makes me look like a true trucker. I’d have to loosen the setting to make it fit the top but then it would cover my ears. Average sized heads would fit into it well!.

I’ve attempted to order the hat in the picture and keep getting the dark blue hat instead. Really want the hat in the picture! Really like everything I’ve ordered from this site, they just keep getting this hat mixed up I guess.

I was excited to get this hat. When I took it out of the book and put it on my head, it was crooked. I figured maybe the brim was bent so I flattened it out on the table and noticed the left side of the hat was completely raised off the table, almost an inch.

A properly constructed hat should have been completely flat when set on a flat surface. I wish I could attach a picture to this review. My main issue was the several emails I sent without a reply and sitting on hold for an hour several times.

All I wanted was for them to reimburse my shipping. I own a lot of BD climbing gear and between this $35 hat and lack of customer service I’m a bit put off. I’ll most likely be giving Petzl a shot for future climbing gear purchases, after all I just picked up their headlamp and its superior to BD.

Just as a title says. I wear it to all trips. Hiking, canoeing, climbing, everything. One of the best items I own.

I did not buy this hat for a seemingly superficial, yet important, reason: on the hat itself it says “forged in the USA. ” However, the hat is made in China. Why would a manufacturer advertise a product, directly on the product, as forged in the USA when it is made in China? Odd.

Deceptive. No bueno.

I bought this hat 2 years ago, but somehow smashed it and deformed it a little. So decided to buy the same hat (black/gray) again. I’m a woman with a smallish head. It’s very difficult to find a hat that fits great but this one does once it’s broken in a bit.

The quality of this hat is fantastic and comfortable to wear. It doesn’t rub places. One note: This hat is a dark grey not a true black. It’s technically a women’s hat but I’ve seen plenty of guys wear this exact on trails so don’t let that stop ya fellas!.

I bought this for my best friends birthday. The color was perfect and the material is great. She is finally retiring her old adventure hat and replacing it with this one.

The size claims be one size fits all. However, it doesn’t fit my average adult head. It fits my 7 year old nicely though so I’ll let her have it

Love my new hat. The colors are so summery and this hat is a great option for those days of swimming and being active.

Very cheaply made. The brim in much more frayed than pictured, that I can get over but the mesh backing, that is a big let down. That won’t last long at all. For $24 I expected a better quality hat. This is what I would expect for a $10 knock off.

Too bad there weren’t others offering their version of this.

This is a definitely a trucker style hat. The picture looks like like it would not have that boxy look but it sure does. Not for me. Luckily this hat looks great on my 9 year old daughter! I gave it to her.

I bought this hat for our upcoming Bahamas trip. I usually have trouble with hats because my head is small, but this adjusts perfectly, fits great and looks great! My 7 year old is trying to steal it!

While I have a petite frame, and at times hats fit a little too big for my head, this hat was much much too big. I purchased it because the description stated a ‘women’s specific fit’. I have other trucker hats made for women and they fit just fine.

I’m disappointed that I spent $9 on shipping and now I will have to spend money to send it back.

This was a birthday gift for my 15 year old son and he declared it “awesome.” He’s got a massive head and it fit fine.

It looks cool, fits well, and is durable. The one time my husband did not complain about an article of clothing I purchased for him.

As soon as I got it I was impressed. The photo doesn’t do it justice. The embossed Fox Head logo looks really cool! The hat is comfortable too! I recommend it!

A really sweet and baller cap. Not too much flair, just right… but enough detail and coolness to be my ‘go-to’ cap when I am out-and-about.’

I saw a woman at a coffee shop with this hat, and I said “wow I love that hat, where’d you get it?” and she said “pistil! with an i not an o” and so I went right there and bought it. Couldn’t be happier.

I bought this hat when I went out to visit my best friend in Boise, ID. It was the perfect hat for our sun-kissed adventures and now I have a functional memento back home! The colors are my wardrobe jam, the brim is just right, and it fits perfectly(I have a larger head).

I bought this hat for a few trips coming up this year as a replacement for a much loved and tattered Patagonia hat. I have a really small head and usually trucker hats (Prana in particular) are just too wide and deep for me.

This hat fits perfectly. I’ve received nothing but compliments on it every time I wear it. It’s sturdy, impeccable quality, and the colors are bright and in contrast to the mountains (I purchased the Aqua).

Couldn’t recommend this hat more. It’ll be a favorite for years to come.

Beautiful black floral pattern that matches my Jive crossbody purse (and canyon 20L backpack when Im on hikes/bike rides!); quality Dakine cloth but with plastic mesh back/plastic snap closure; I wouldve expected it to also have quality black cloth/metal adjustable back with holes at top for ventilation like other quality caps but I guess its a typical trucker hat style, nice shape if cap n bill u can shape, complete w pony tail hole; I only put 4 stars cuz its a bit expensive for cap even on sale (and they charged $5+ shipping on light cap! – esp since I got free ship on other stuff direct from Dakine but they were out of stock on this!).

The fit is different , normally only have tighten up 4 snaps , this one only two. I have a good size noggin. The cap height is much shallower , Reminds me of a youth hat. But the colors are great with the olive green background and the green monstera leaves and the salmon pink plumerias.

Its my new favorite! I drive a Jeep and love to have the windows down , keeps my long hair from tangling up!.

I love how sturdy this hat is. it holds its shape and is classy and cool without being too hipster. I played a ton of volleyball in this and it kept me cool and could be rinsed off after without destroying it’s shape.

I had two and I bought a third when I lost the mint colored one on the river last year. It was my fave of the three. I haven’t gotten over it yet and I keep coming back here to see if it’s back in stock.

Can wear this hat with my large sunglasses without issue – no weight of hat bearing down on the top of the glasses as there is adequate clearance. Also love the design of the back – stretchy and adjustable band.

Hat is GREAT! My only problem is the bill was too wide and I looked like a little kid wearing their dad’s hat. I have a small head, so it’s not an uncommon issue for me. Everything else was awesome – the material, the elastic pull cord, the bendable bill.

As soon as I popped this hat on it fit like a glove. It looks great! The hat doesn’t seem to have that higher crown at the top button that other trucker style hats sometimes have. For me that’s a huge difference on if I decide to by buy the hat or not.

Awesome cap great quality, proud to where salty crew on my head. It’s got the hunter orange color on the back which is pretty boss. It’s a trucker style ball cap, with the half back cooler vents. Aka vent cap.

Now I just need to go fishing.

This Hat was a gift for my Brother who is an avid fisherman for Striped Bass. I searched everywhere online High and Low for this specific hat. I personally own around 7 Salty- Crew snapbacks & love them.

I found this hat in the mens section. My family loves it. I love it. Great hat. Great feel. Snap backs provide great for varieties of fits so my wife can wear it if she wants. Mesh top provides ideal ventilation.

I am not into trucker hats, but as soon as I saw this one I had to have it. Got the cargo horchata (pink) color. What I like about it is that I have a small head, and it actually fits me. I agree with another reviewer who says it’s tall.

I agree. It’s a bit awkward because I actually have to tuck the tops of my ears into the hat itself or else the hat wont sit on my head, and there will be a good inch of room. However I actually like this because I always found ears to be awkward anyway, with my long hair, so rather than worrying what to do to make the tops of my ears and hair work with the hat, the hat just hides everything.

Can’t help but wonder if this was done on purpose. The style of the hat seems big on the forehead. Again, great for my narrow face to give it some mass, but someone who worries their forehead is too big might want to avoid this style.

Love my Prana trucker hat. I have a small head and it still fits great. Gorgeous design- I get compliments all the time. Wore this floating the river last week and it cleaned up nicely when we got home.

Super cute- it just runs big because it’s unisex. I thought I had a big enough head so that it could just fit but it’s loose and the elastic is not tight enough to make a difference. I may still try and make it work with hat sizers.

This is a very well quality hat but I was a little disappointed because the fact that it says snap back and it’s not. It has a Velcro and it gets cought in your hair. I actually would have preferred a snapback plastic back.

I ordered 30 Decky hats and this design is by far my favorite. Im used to buying New Era fitted caps, figured I try something new and I’m glad I did. After I placed my order, I started looking at reviews online and got kind of nervous because I saw a lot of bad reviews of damaged items, wrong items, bad customer service, etc.

My order was expected to arrive in three weeks and I actually got it in one week! Everything was there except for one hat. After e-mailing customer service, I got a response like 4 days later saying it was in a separate order which arrived today.

Overall, I’m happy with my order and products. I will be placing more in the future.
