20 Best Women’S Walking Cane (2022 Updated)

What a marketing gimmick. If you use a regular cane, the way it was intended, beside you and not in front of you as shown in commercials there would be no use for this. Well, maybe the bottom support pad is helpfull.

but the rest is marketing nonsense. Save your money, you get the same results using a stick properly!.

I cannot believe the BS commercials. My wife uses a cane, I have used one in the past and I know many people that use a cane. Not one walks hunched over like the commercials imply. Total BS and misleading.

Wouldn’t buy one for any price.

Great light-weight walking stick. The curved handle allows multiple hand positions. As I have arthritis in my thumbs, this is a big plus and the reason why I purchased it. One modification that I made was to replace the large rubber tip with a 3/4″ rubber leg tip available at any hardware store.

(A couple of wraps of tape helps hold it in place. ) I walk in the woods and the smaller tip works better for me.

Bought this for my 86 yr old mom. She wanted pretty and this fit the bill. Her favourite colour is red, even better! It was sent directly to her. She said it went together the minute she took it out of the bag.

She didn’t have to adjust it, she said it was already the perfect height. She absolutely loves everything about this cane. Loves how bright and cheery and sturdy it is.

Switch Sticks Folding Walking Stick folds easily and works as expected. The color is true to the color pattern shown; it is bright and cherry. Takes a little effort to break down or fold due to tight center cable but is fairly easy to fold for storage.

I purchased the same name brand and style of cane almost a year prior to the latest purchase, and the quality of the first one was significantly superior. One of the main reasons why I favored this particular brand of walking cane, was the unique, rich, brilliant colors and design.

The latest cane had the color and design that I was after however, the paint scratches off almost as easily as a lottery scratch ticket. It was almost as if the people who manufacture for Dollar Tree were given orders to paint a cane to resemble the original.

For example, if the cane is propped up against an inn table or the bathroom door for a moment, you shan’t be surprised if you find that the paint was lifted from the area where the cane made [even the lightest of] contact with the surface.

The price was more than reasonable, as I got it on Clearance, but now I see why it was so cheap.

I love my cane; as a young person with mobility issues, having one is incredibly important to me, and this cane is most certainly good for both the style and compatibility needed for someone such as myself.

The cane is sturdy, lightweight, relatively easy (for someone with little strength) to switch between folded and ready to use; certainly one of the best purchases I’ve made thus far. My only issues with this were the handle of the cane not being quite as describedjust a colour difference, the rest is fineand some slight (but I know inevitable) scratches around where it folds, however, after using it regularly, I can see why they happen and know full well that it’s of no fault of the product.

Having accidentally pulled on the wrist strap a little too hard, I do warn against doing so, as it will deform the ring; a slightly more sturdy one may be in order if you have a habit of tugging like I do.

I really love my folding cane. I recently had total knee replacement and initially used a walker. It was a requirement to have one after surgery. I was more than happy when I received my cane. It shipped quickly and I got it earlier than expected.

It is lightweight and adjustable. It gives me the extra support and confidence when walking around. It is nice having something less bulky than a walker. I was also able to select my favorite color of purple! I definitely would recommend this product.

I have used the Vive folding cane for approximately 4 weeks. I works great! I like it’s ability to be folded up for easy storing. It is lite and easy for me to use. My only criticism is that it feels like it does not fit back together firmly.

It gives the sensation that joints slip a little as you put weight on the cane. I would also suggest the handle be a little bigger for better grip. Other than these small criticisms, I love the folding cane.

I bought it for my elderly mother. She loved it, but the ankle joint at the bottom of the cane is a bit stiff to start off with, hopefully it will relax in time. There was a storage bag and instruction and warranty booklet inside the cardboard product tag sleeve, so do not throw away the cardboard it’s is attached to without opening it up to get those items out first.

I found a nice video on their website explaining how it all works, the elastic storage and wrist strap is a huge bonus for keeping the cane from falling over while using your hands for something else.

It folds very easily for arthritic hands.

There is several design flaws with this product. 1) The nut holding the base to the stem will not stay tight more than 2 or 3 months. 2) The screws holding the feet into the plastic base, which you have to remove to get to the nut, are screwed into plastic.

After 2 or 3 times of removing the feet to tighten the nut, the screws will not grip the plastic therefore, rendering the product useless. The Hurricane company will not stand behind it’s product telling you to just trash it and buy a new one.

Overpriced and the rubber support feet fall off, making the cane useless. Walmart sells Hugo Adjustable cane for $24 that is superior (I own 4 in various colors). I threw my Hurrycane in the garbage.

Hurrycane will happily sell you replacement feet but those fall off too. Don’t waste your money. Buy Hugo.

After a very bad ankle sprain, I looked at a variety of canes, both rigid and collapsible/foldable. The functionality (for me) and potential durability of the Offset Walking Cane from Vive Health appears to me be a class above those I’ve examined at several local retailers (I even purchased and returned one collapsible cane) or seen online.

I like its rigidity. I like its color (black). I also like the the fact that the handle surface looks to be long-lasting. This in contrast to what looks to be short-lived foam-over-pipe/tube, that may or may not be easily replaceable, used on many other canes.

My husband is 6’ 3” about 195 Lbs. —he’s had to use a cane for several years due to knee and back issues. He absolutely loves this cane (first time we purchased from this company and this cane in particular).

It’s lightweight, sturdy and the offset handle is quite comfortable—plus it has plenty of height adjustments. We did buy the 4 prong cane tip to replace the standard single tip that was on the cane. All good!.

My new folding cane replaces a non-folding cane that weighs about one third of my new Vive unit. The stunning thing is that the added weight of the new cane dramatically increases the stability of it’s use.

I didn’t think I would like a folding cane. I’ve fallen enough on my own and I didn’t believe a folding cane could possibly be safe. I wanted one because it would be much easier to carry around stores and other places a cane isn’t needed.

I decided to give it a try and if it wasn’t what I needed I would return it. I am positively impressed with this folding cane. It’s easy to go from four pieces of metal to a full-size cane. It is easy to open up.

It’s like there is a piece of stretch rope in it. It snaps in place and is the size of a regular cane. It is also easy to close it up. I feel very safe and secure using this cane. It adjusts for different heights and the handle is very soft and comfortable.

If you’ve been concerned about the reliability and safety of a folding cane give this a shot. I’m sure glad I did. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a cane. It is for people over 250 pounds so there is a lot of strength in it.

I would buy this again.

I have many folding canes in different patterns. This is my 2nd cane from Vive. The handle is softer & makes this more comfortable to use than the hard wooden or plastic handled canes. The wrist loop comes in handy too.

I will only buy this brand again!.

I like the walking stick. It is light weight, but strong, and it folds, so I keep it in the car so I have it when I need it. The color is really nice. The color Is really nice.

I love my lucite cane! Whenever I am out and about I get lots of compliments. It is not the usual cane that people see and can buy at the drug store, which is part of the reason i like it. I don’t want to feel like an old lady using one of those canes.

Besides its good looks, it is durable. I’ve traveled with it and haven’t been concerned about it breaking. I received my cane only two days after i ordered it. I am very impressed with this company.

Received my Lucite cane and chose to take option of having my name, address, phone number and e-mail address done in silver since I think it could easily be left behind. I ordered it in anticipation of granddaughter’s wedding just in case my temporary-hopefully knee problem kicks up.

Wanted something beautiful and not too conspicuous with my gown. Totally happy with the results. Great quality. problem might be aggravated by.

I love this cane. It’s so unique and stylish and pretty. It feels good in the hand. It’s not heavy, but it’s substantial and sturdy. One word of caution. Guard this cane with your life! I just ordered a second cane to replace my first one because the first cane was stolen from my shopping cart.

Bought this to replace one I borrowed and have been using longer than expected. Very sturdy, easily adjustable. I wash the foam grip occasionally because I drop it out in the dirt at the dog park. Holding up very well for all the abuse I have given it.

My friend had one in red and LOVED IT. She demonstrated how it always stays up. Although I have a couple of lightweight canes wit a base, they keep falling over. I tried my friends cane and was impressed, so I ordered one in purple.

I got a DUD ! It is lightweight and the strap helps but it falls over much too often. I went back to using the drugstore can I have with the extra attachable base that stays up more easily. This one is in back of my care just in case I need an extra.

Disappointed. Mybe the red stays up better??.

Just purchased my second PURPLE Hurrycane – lost first in hospital! I love purple. My experience has been exceptional throughout from ordering thru to dellivery. Hurrycane is sturdy and I feel very secure when using.

I read the reviews both good and bad before i ordered this cane. I watched numerous commercials on tv about another company selling their version of this cane. My wife was always getting on to me about walking upright.

I observed this cane on the Walmart site at about half the price of the afore mentioned cane so I decided to order it. It came in within a few days. I put it together and gave it a try. For me it works as they said it would I walk upright instead of being be g over, the cane stands upright by itself on level ground and it doesn’t hurt my wrist from being bent over.

Its also pretty sturdy. Once in awhile you do have to tighten the handle back up. Also I paid $21. 95 plus shipping.

Began a serious walking program this summer, but found myself a little unsteady on my feet. Took a couple of spills and knew I needed to do something. A cane left me hunched over and uncomfortable so I tried a modified mop handle to see if a walking stick might help.

It sure did, so I bought this, as it seemed the most reasonable with the most features and fully adjustable. Perfect. almost. I replaced the base with a regular cane tip so that I could tap the ground lightly as I go and reduce the weight of it, and now it truly is perfect for my needs.

The base it comes with does self-stand on a perfectly level surface, but added unwanted weight for me. I now have the stability and confidence I needed for a more natural and less awkward gait and am now able to walk in a straighter line, upright, and yet not feel fully dependent on it.

My balance has improved markedly as I continue to increase time and distance walking. Happily, no more spills as I feel more focused on my footing. The wrist strap and shape of the handle suit me also.

I wanted a walking stick to replace the cane which makes my back hurt because I’m so leaned forward. However, 99% of walking sticks use a clamp to adjust and I see that as a danger of suddenly collapsing.

I decided to hold out for a button lock, and they are very rare. except for this one. It say’s ‘cane’ more than ‘mountain climber’, but that’s fine. I like it enough I may get another so I can walk upright while alternating support.

This is the second cane I have bought and my first folding one. I did not appreciate my first cane until I received this one. The first one costs 1/3 the price, is much sturdier, has a more comfortable handle, and is quiet.

After reading reviews, I rejected several folding canes from this site because people complained about the handle being too short. I thought I was avoiding this problem, but no, the handle on this cane is also much too short and uncomfortable.

My biggest complaint, however, is the noise. Maybe it’s not possible to make a noiseless folding cane, but I wish it were quieter. It’s not super loud or anything, but it rattles. No one hears me when I use my good cane.

Everyone can hear me with this. I’m keeping this one as an emergency cane only, but I hope I can find a quiet folding cane with a big, comfy handle.

The derby handle is so helpful to have given my health circumstance. While I love my folding cane with the palm grip, the derby is more practical sometimes. There are days where both of my hands are painful and/or numb, and I need to alternate which hand I use a cane with while walking to alleviate some of the discomfort.

The derby I can change to the other hand and keep going on my walk when I can’t comfortably do that with a palm grip for a set hand when I’m away from home. It’s awkward to use a left hand palm grip with your right hand.

The derby takes away that dilemma.

I love this type of handle – it is comfortable and provides a good grip. The adjustable height is also a big plus!

Good cane. solid, well made. Bought it to replace one that finally wore out. One problem to be aware of though – the ads all say “2 Count”. This is NOT a package of 2 canes – just one good one. Don’t know why they label it as 2 Count.

Confusing.

We purchased something similar as this for my grandpa after he got out of the hospital. During his recovery process, to help him get around the house and out of bed, he relied on this handy thing alot.

I cant express how glad I am about purchasing this. The four knobs on the bottom is excellent and very sturdy!.

Third quad cane I’ve purchased; I bought black & white for every day, floral print for a spring wedding, & the newest in metallic black for my son’s wedding. I’m going to add a small rhinestone sticker to match a silver & black dress.

I bought this cane because I thought is was a good brand, but it was not. Within about a month of use, a part of the hande came off, but it was a cosmetic problem not functional so I did not try to return it.

Three months later the whole handle came off. This is now a functional problem because the cane can’t be used without the handle. I had it for 4 months and it is past the time to return it. This is not a good or safe health care product to buy because a cane is used for support and the handle is not securely made or securely attached to the rest of the cane.

Very helpful product. I need to use a cane some of the time, and I appreciate being able to fold it up when I’m out and don’t end up needing it. It’s good to always have a cane with me, and folded, this one fits in a backpack or briefcase.

Immediately with those who came in contact with my cane-complimented it!! Early one, I felt a looseness in my cane. Whenever I figured it out, I needed to tighten Down the adjustable ring. I noted sometimes whenever cane falls from A surface, I have it waiting, this becomes loose Periodically.

So, I check this tightness regularly! ( I chose weight which the cane can hold above what I weigh, just slightly. ).

I have owned this very cane for almost 4 years and have needed it through two hip replacement surgeries. This recent purchase was because I had lost my first cane and wanted this exact same cane because of it functionality and style.

After purchasing the cane again, someone returned it to the store I left it at and the store contacted me that it was found. So now I have two canes and will use them again in the future when I have my knees replaced since they will need to be replaced in the next 2-3 years.

This is the second Nova cane I purchased. They are excellent quality. My first Nova cane is still in perfect condition and I’ve had it three years. I thought I would select another design and I’m happy the quality is the same as my original cane I purchased three years ago.

I purchased purple. I like the look of it. It is easy to put together and fold up for convenience and it is functional. This cane fits my needs for daily use, it is stylish, it allows for impromptu recreational activities.

I purchased it to fold up and put in the saddle bags of my partner’s motorcycle so I can ride too. It also fits in the glove compartment of our car and when I push the cart in the grocery store it can fold to fit in my bag.

A definite 5 stars.

The primary factor that sets this cane apart is the very compact storage that is available. It is the only type of cane that I will take on an airplane. It is also handy when going out to a restaurant or entertainment event.

This is a great price. Works as well as the canes I paid 3 times the price. Nice feel on the handle, strong and sturdy and the strap is great. I am going to get more to keep in the car, the truck, to have extra.

Comfortable handle with rubber grip – rubber also helps the cane grip surfaces when temporarily hung (table tops, counters, etc. ) Easily to adjust with a snap button, as well as a screw-tighter. And the wrist strap is also very practical.

Excellent cane. Most canes have painted wooden handles and over time develop unsightly chips. This cane’s handle has a rubber like coating on the handle which keeps it looking like new.

Not much to say about a walking cane except it keeps you from falling down. Broke my ankle and had surgery with a steel plate, rod, and 10 screws. After the cast I started with a walking boot and was very off balance.

So I bought this cane and it is very nice and well built. It helps in walking when you got a 5 Lb boot on and I am not so afraid of falling. If it got lost or stolen I would buy another. I like the handle and the color.

This cane is undoubtedly the best that I’ve ever come across! The quality is superb, from the well-crafted body, on down to its rich and beautiful colors. The vivid autumn colors was a pleasant surprise, and the catalog photo most definitely did not do its colors justice.

I knew, as soon as I opened the shipping box and saw the attractive manufacture’s boxing, that I was in for a far better quality item than I’d anticipated. This cane even came with an extremely well-made, carrying case, something you’d expect to find in a high end department store.

This is the first time in my using a cane. I broke my leg and have started using a cane This cane is sturdy and the tip is a good size for balancing. I like the folding feature of the cane. I wasn’t sure how the cane would fold back together but the magnets inside are very strong and it assembles itself in seconds.

Quite amazing. The hand grip is soft, non slippery and extremely comfortable for my hand. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I’m a new cane user, with a bad knee that will be “replaced” late this year. This cane does the job, and it is priced right. I was able to order it online and pick it up at the Walmart of my choice. The cane folds easily, so it can go into the car or a travel bag with ease.

It is too new to assess the durability of the cane, but the design and construction appear to be solid. Recommended.

Like the fact that it is all one wooden piece and not like those metal “adjustable” ones. But we were thinking it was a little thicker in diameter. My husband is a stout man and sometimes he worries that it is too thin to support him.

Not only is this cane stylish, it has saved me. I haven’t fallen since I began using it and I had been falling numerous times a day. It’s a sturdy but lightweight cane that has provided me with much stability.

The handle is soft and comfortable. The tip has just the right small amount of flex to it that lets it stay in contact with my wonky floors and outside terrain. It doesn’t slip or slide on hard slick surfaces.

This pretty cane truly has given me a nice bit of my mobility back while ensuring my safety.

After researching a lot of canes, I decided on this sugarcane. It can be adjusted easily to your preference and it stays locked in place. I can rely on the cane to keep me balanced and more stable. I love that it stands on it’s own so it’s always near me.
