20 Best Wood Cabinet Restorer (2022 Updated)

Hard to find product in any store and many online retailers sell at an incredibly inflated price. Thank goodness Walmart has this fairly priced! Excellent for cabinets and countertops which have lost their shine!!.

I love the design of the Rejuvinate bottle. It sprays really well. I won’t go so far as to say that my cabinets look brand new, but they are cleaner. As I was using the product, I was going to state that I love how it is unscented, but my particular bottle said it was lemon scented.

However, I did not notice any smell. Overall, it works. However I can’t say that I’m blown away by the results. My cabinets feel much nicer. Lastly, it wasn’t obvious as to what materials this wasn’t compatible with.

I assumed it was safe to use on wood as the cabinets on the bottle picture appear to be wood but it would be nice to have a list of furniture that you can and shouldn’t spray this on.

I tried this on my kitchen cabinets using a clean cloth. I found the consistency very watery. Because of this it didn’t really do anything special to the cabinets. Yes the dirt came off, but that would have happened using soap and water as well.

I did not really detect a lemon scent so this was pretty much odorless which is fine. This did not give my cabinets a polished look or anything. I think you would be better off using whatever cleaner you already have and then using a furniture polish if you want to see a big difference in your cabinets.

I bought this to renovate my large hardwood 70’s Pioneer speakers as they had a dull finish and were waterstained with a few scratches as they had been left for very many years in an attic. I was pleasantly surprised at the overall look of the speakers after giving one coat with very fine wire wool which I purchased purchased to apply this product.

I intend to give them another application which will improve them a little more. It also helped that there are one or two decent Utube videos showing how people have renovated their items. It is expensive but after all said and done it is a tried and tested product.

Having read reviews and watched U Tube demonstrations I hoped and expected a great resultthis wasnt to be. I followed the instructions and ended up with my mahogany table top looking worse than before! I wish I hadnt bothered.

It wasnt in bad condition at all, no deep scratches and only very faint white marks. Now its dull and patchy even though Ive repeated the process several times. Im so disappointed and feel my table is spoiled.

I just bought a $5 chair at a resale shop for my mom. I added wheels/gliders to make it a bit higher and padding to bulk up the sagging seat. I didn’t want to sand the wood, so instead I used Howard Restore-A-Finish.

It did a really nice job of bringing back the luster of the wood and the wicker of the chair. It was very easy to apply. It didn’t cover all the worn areas 100%, but not having to strip and sand the chair, I felt it did a great job.

Most importantly my mom loves it. Thanks Howard.

Magic, formerly know as Cabinet Magic is a great product, but all 3 aerosol bottles I’ve purchased, whether under their original product name or the new, the aerosol nozzle button begins to spit like crazy after just 2 or 3 uses, such that the product sprays out a little like an aerosol spray should, but at the same time, big droplets of product also come out from under the nozzle, dripping all over the floor or counters, but the gas propellant must ALSO leak out at the same time because all 3 bottles ran out of propellant with more than 1/2 of the can still full, VERY annoying.

It’s a pity because the product itself makes new cabinets GORGEOUS and makes old cabinets come back to life. I see Magic now comes in manual spray bottles so hopefully that will be the redeeming factor.

My suggestion is to avoid their aerosol cans. Can’t yet vouch for their manual pump bottles, I’m assuming it’s the same product inside, hoping it is!.

I had a fly on my mirror in my bathroom and nothing to kill it with I sprayed it with this. To my astonishment when I cleaned it off with a dry rag it polished up that mirror like nothing else. I decided to try it on stainless steel, glass on doors, and stove hood.

It only took a little buffing with a dry rag and man it was amazing. This is my new go to for multipurpose cleaner, for glass ,wood, etc. AWESOME.

This is the best wood cleaner, especially on our painted kitchen cabinets. It cleans and does not leave swipe marks. It leaves a beautiful finish on cabinets and wood furniture.

I can’t say enough good about this product. It’s crazy good! My cabinets are from the 70’s, I bet they didn’t look this good when they were new! There’s new shine, luster, richness. It even brought back to life areas that lost color from being too near steam from electric hot water tea kettle, rice cooker etc.

The price is amazing too. The cost was 3 times higher on another site when I bought it the very first time.

Omg 😱 I love this product like my tittle says why because this did really work on my kitchen cabinets really before this product I used another one that didn’t work it would just wet them and keep them the same they were and I was already so upset because I buy so many to lean them and didn’t work….

BUT I decided to give this THOMASVILLE kitchen cabinet cream a try and I was shocked 😳 because it worked so perfect 🤩 that I would buy it again once I finish it and also recommend on using it on your cabinets 😠😠ğŸ˜.

I had used Thomasville glass stove cleaner (recommended by my brother) it worked great – so thought I’d try th kitchen cabinet cleaner too. And I love it -it’s easy to apply and wipe off. I’m so glad I tried it!.

I bought one bottle and used it on our kitchen cabinets. It was absolutely awesome! I bought 3 more. My Hubs had thought we would need to refinish these old cabinets. Now they shine!!! I love it. Highly recommend this product.

They both worked really good. Cabinet stuff is nice and removes dirt and grim that you never know that you have on them after all the years.

Smells exactly the same as Liquid Gold. Easy to use being in a spray bottle, probably good for the wood but not a particularly efficient cleaner. Thought it was rather on the experience side.

It’s expensive but it really works. Uncertain about the environmental integrity of the ingredients.

I clean houses on a regular basis and this is the first product I’ve found that I can use to clean cabinets without leaving any greasy steaks. It cleans effortlessly and smells terrific!

this product purports to remove minor scratches. I have a “Roman” coffee table from Trilogy furniture in Western Australia. It’s made of ‘fruitwood’. I tried Restor-A-Finish to remove minor scratches.

It didn’t seem to have any effect whatsoever on the scratches. It did seem to put nice gloss or glow on the timber but to be honest this can be achieved at half the price using a wood polish. As the product failed to remove minor scratches I would say that is more of a ‘snake oil’ than a genuine product,.

The holy grail of cabinet and wood cleaner/polish! It works great at cleaning cabinets and giving them a moisturized not dried out look. Very easy to use! Plus it smells great. I have recommended this product to family members and they love it too!.

This is an amazing product. I know why they call it Magic- it cleans and conditions wood even my dull wood floors after we pulled 40 yr old carpet off it! Shine on! Almond scent that won’t give you a headache!.

It is simple but elegant. I care for it by using Old English Lemon Oil. I lay it on thick with a cloth, and the wood drinks it in. I’ve been doing this for 20 years. I wouldn’t use anything else.

The box and every other box on my porch that day where saturated. If the bottle had tape over the top or was in a plastic bag, it wouldn’t have caused such havoc. No replacement or refund have been forthcoming.

I use my husband’s old t-shirts to wipe off the oil and another t-shirt to buff. The sheen stays on for months and all I do is remove the dust with a duster. This works for me. It has really gone up in price and the bottle is a smaller size.

This product cleaned my cabinets however it was not a noticeably easier or powerful cleaner. The Bona formula is environmentally friendly and that provides peace of mind. It isn’t a notable product which was too bad because I had high hopes for it.

The product didn’t smell. I would say it is average.

For my new kitchen cabinets, I was looking for a cleaner specifically for wood cabinets. This product fits the bill. I spray the cleaner on a cloth then wipe the cabinet. It removes dust, grease and grime.

I will be ordering it again when it gets low.
