The color and style matched closely with my other furniture. It provides me with the desk top surface space I needed. Plus the Keyboard drawer added additional surface space and a more comfortable typing setup.

Also it was easy to assemble.

I do a lot of online purchasing, and this desk was by far the most well packaged item that I have ever received! VERY easy to put together – the entire top with drawers is already assembled, all you have to do is attach the legs and 3 drawer knobs.

I have only been using it for a week, but it seems very sturdy and well made. The drawers on mine pull smoothly enough for me, but could probably stand a touch of grease (but definitely is not necessary).

The legs are a little tall, but I have a chair with arms, so that works for me. The color is a beautiful blueish gray, with amazing wood texture. I have included my own images, because I find those extremely helpful when shopping online.

Nice piece of furniture. Real wood. Easy to assemble – legs and knobs only. Love the pullout keyboard tray. I wish it had the option to raise since it’s just below comfort level. I will need to make something that will raise the keyboard 1.

I purchased this desktop a few months ago. It is quite beautiful. However, the finish is extremely fragile. I’ve been very gentle with the desktop, and placing an item on the desk will very likely scratch the finish, and probably put a dent in the wood.

I picked up a piece of paper with my fingernail, and accidentally put a scratch in the desktop with my soft fingernail. This desktop will require refinishing within 6 moths of purchase.

I ordered a 70 inch African Mahogany solid wood desktop which came missing pieces of finish all over, dents, and cracks. It looked damaged and used. When I wrote in with pictures to inform uplift of the damage, seeking a replacement, they said the damage wasn’t covered.

I’m incredibly disappointed in both the quality of the product and the service, neither of which were worth the purchase price of over $1500.

This has been a wonderful purchase for my home office. I feel more energized and not to mention more organized than ever. The quality is first class and really makes a statement when you walk to the office with the clean lines and industrial feel.

I very rarely give out a 5 star review to anything or anyone. I rate on the “Old School” bell curve model which reserves the absolute best score for the absolute best items or services. I can count on one hand the number of 5 star reviews I have given in the past 25 years.

My V2 Uplift desk is one of those times. I was unsure if a standing desk would help me deal with my recently developed sciatica but I was willing to give it a try after hearing from colleagues who have various standing desks.

The entire process from finding the desk that would suite my needs (and budget) to the delivery to the setup was extremely smooth and easy to do. I was a little concerned at first since it came in 6+ boxes and bending / lifting were very painful for me.

However my wife and I had no issues getting them into my home office. The video that showed one being set up in under 10 minutes was encouraging but I had no illusions I could do it anywhere near that quickly.

It took about 2 hours to unbox it all, verify all the parts were here and to fully assemble my desk with all of the extras. A big chunk of that time were frequent breaks to deal with my sciatica. If you do not have it or you do not order a ton of extras then you will likely take less than half that to assemble a fully loaded desk.

Both my wife and I were extremely pleased with the quality of all the materials and how easy the assembly really was to do. Everything is extremely sturdy without you needing a forklift to move it. The assembly process is very easy to do solo.

I definitely recommend a second set of hands for some of the tasks like turning it over or lifting the desktop onto a good working surface where you don’t have to bend over. There were a lot of little touches that helped the V2 earn its 5 star rating.

Items such as the small handle to use with the hex wrench so I could easily tighten the bolts fully without killing my hands. Or the individual packaging of the assorted bolts and screws in very clearly labeled packets.

I am 6′ 6″ so my desk needs to be fairly high for me to use while standing. The V2 desk alone would reach where I needed it to be. I added the heavy duty casters since my desk was going to partially block access to a bookcase and I would need to occasionally pivot it out of the way.

That added plenty of extra height without making the desk too high when in the lowered position. The casters let me pivot the desk when either raised or lowered with little effort. When I lock them, the desk does not move around.

Adjusting the height is extremely easy. Just a tap of the control and it moves a little. After setting the raised height for me I just double tap the control and stand back. The desk moves very smoothly to where I need it.

There is very little sound when the desk moves up or down. There were a couple things that I found which slightly marred my overall impressions/experience. The cable tray feels a little flimsy. It is essentially a sheet of heat formed acrylic and not sheet metal like everything else.

However that is only a minor ding in my book since it is out of the way and not something I will interact with much now that the desk is assembled. The other negative are the cable holders for my monitor arm.

Neither I nor my wife could get them to go into the holes on the arms without breaking off. While a little frustrating, I simply replaced them with the adhesive cable holders I had left and problem solved.

Now that I have had time to adjust to using a standing desk I have to ask why these are not standard issue for all home (or work) offices! There are a ton of options to choose from and the desk is super easy to use desk, extremely sturdy (even when raised) and looks great.

I waited a while to post a review because I wanted to get all the accessories installed and work with the desk for a couple of weeks before settling on a final opinion. I have to say that Uplift exceeded my expectations for the entire experience of ordering, receiving, unpacking, assembling, and installing my desk.

I ordered a custom hardwood (walnut) top for my left-hand relief L-shaped desk with big ultra-thin keyboard tray and quick adjust mount, CPU tower holder, two power receptacle grommets and the crestview dual monitor arm.

Immediately after ordering, I was contacted by David Martinez in customer service with a note that my custom order was going to take longer to fulfill and was I okay with that or did I want to change the order.

I worked with David for a period of about a week and ultimately decided to let it ride and wait for the higher quality real wood top. He provided really excellent and responsive customer service and made me feel like I made the right decision with my choice of company for this desk.

After receiving a lot of boxes, I put it off for about a week and then finally broke into the pile on a weekend. It took quite a bit of time to assemble everything – I’d estimate a total of about 8 hours total over a couple of days, but I was going very slow and reading the directions very carefully – even then, I made two mistakes and had to undo something before moving on.

The instructions are VERY well done – just read carefully and follow exactly. I found one or two places that the directions could be improved but nothing significant. I did what the instructions said and counted every component and fastener to check the inventory before starting assembly (I’ve been burned before) and I did find that one of the control cables was not in the package.

Customer service to the rescue – David had the issue taken care of and arranged for the parts to be shipped immediately – they haven’t arrived yet, but I found that I was still able to complete the setup because the control box is close enough to the corner leg that the short cable worked to connect it for now.

The fit of the parts, pre-drilled mounting holes in the desktop, quality of the fasteners, and overall design of the components is extremely high quality with robust, heavy gauge materials and exact machine design so everything fits together just right as the directions show.

I was very impressed with the construction. I’ve been using the desk now for a couple of weeks raising and lowering a few times a day to walk on my treadmill, stand and work, etc. and it is incredibly smooth and quiet to operate.

I love the one touch presets I can program into the advanced comfort keypad. Summary: this is a very high-quality desk made with robust materials and construction and the design details are very well thought out and executed.

I am impressed with the entire experience and the look and quality of the product. I will definitely recommend this company to friends, family and co-workers.

I’ve worked at home for about 20 years now, and developed back problems that make it excruciatingly painful to sit for long stretches of time. I used to get up and walk around with my wireless headset during conference calls and virtual meetings, but now that video meetings have become the norm it’s been brutal on my back and leg from the lower disc issue.

I decided to get rid of my old desk and invest in a standup desk. Since I have 3 large monitors and lots of equipment on my desk, a simple raisable platform that sits on an existing desk wasn’t going to work so I started looking for a full standup desk.

I ended up getting the UpLift Desk after a lot of research on features and I’m wicked happy with my decision! Here’s why: 1) Getting an electric lift is so much easier than a crank lift when you’ve got nearly 100lbs of gear on your desk surface! 2) I really liked being able to order everything mated and color coordinated.

a. The punch-out options as cable pass throughs, pen wells, or outlets is really nice b. The monitor stands are excellent! Make sure you get the ones designed for the weight of your monitor though, I almost got the cheapest one which would have accommodated my 32″ monitors c.

Get the upgraded control panel. I love how I have preset the perfect height for sitting, and for standing and I just have to hit a button to go back to those settings every time without adjusting! d.

I did not buy the under-desk file cabinets or side tables from them though, way too pricey and bought mine elsewhere since they aren’t really important to the fit & function of the desk. Now when my leg starts aching from sitting, I quickly pause my video, hit a button to convert to stand mode and turn my video back on again within seconds.

And when my lower back starts aching from standing in one place, I hit another button and return to sitting. The motors are SO quiet people on my calls don’t even hear the desk raise or lower. I do recommend getting some 3M Dual Lock faster tape (or similar) to keep some of your wired devices in place as the desk moves up and down.

I did that just to make sure that the lighter devices (like my port replicator, USB hub, etc. ) stay where I want them. I wish I had done this years ago!.

The desktop came extremely well packaged and in perfect shape. The quality is excellent and I’ve been very happy with it so far after about a month of daily use as part of my treadmill desk (80″x30″).

I ordered this to put on top of a different brand desk frame. I was a little dismayed that the desktop came predrilled, which doesn’t appear to be noted in the description, but I was able to work around that.

In the end, it didn’t affect the usability, quality, or appearance, so I’m very happy with my purchase.

I have had my dark rubberwood desktop for just over a year. In that time, I have noticed that any minor tap by a chair or scrap of the edge with my watch that the coating on my desktop flakes off with ease.

It’s completely disappointing that something this expensive cannot handle everyday usage without looking worn. I really do love my desk, but the quality of the top has made me rethink the entire purchase.

I needed a new top desktop for a spare standing desk frame. This was exactly what I needed. Very sturdy, solid, and strong. I’m very happy with the quality, although the grommets seem a little overpriced.

If I had a 4. 5 I would rate it at that.

Unfortunately the desk arrived with damaged corner and scratch on top of desk. Otherwise, the desk was easy to assemble and looks nice and sturdy. The wood is a nice darker brown color.

The desk was easy to put together – instructions were clear. It is just the size I wanted. I use it as a table for jigsaw puzzles.

I really like this desk! It’s sturdy and looks more expensive than it is. I had limited options because I needed a keyboard tray, but this is great.

I scheduled a four hour assembly time for myself based upon drawer assembly etc. I was delighted to find that the wooden desk portion came fully assembled. I spent about 1 hour assembling and attaching the legs.

It is very well constructed and is perfect for my work. I use three, 24 inch, monitors side by side with adequate room for a few other items. Nice color. Solid drawers. It is quite tall so you need a high chair to fit.

I do wish that the center keyboard tray drawer locked open but I have created a system to do this. A minor point.

Beautiful solid wood desk that fits well in a small space. It’s got a good weight and the drawer sliders are a bonus. The only negative was the alignment of the pins and the holes was a little off and made ot difficult to assemble.

Beautiful,solid wood desk. It looks clean,modern and minimal. All three drawers are a good size for paper and small items. It has a matte finish and a little darker walnut color than expected. Too about 20 for the assembly guy to put it together.

It takes two people to lift it, very heavy.

This desk is beautiful. Perfect length for a dual monitor screen set up and scanner, plus there is plenty of room for writing and organizing.

I have mixed feelings about the desk and process. At a high level, the quality of the frame, mechanics, accessories, etc. all seem really good and I haven’t had any problems with using the desk so far.

When I had shipping issues (more details below) customer support was polite and helpful. Ordering online was easy. Assembly was straight-forward and easy with 2 people. I would not recommend the while laminate desk top though, and I have some small complaints about some of the accessories.

Shipping: The site advertises that they will ship your order same day if you order before 3pm, which was true for like 5 out of 6 of my boxes. Unfortunately, the last box didn’t ship with the rest. When the first 5 arrived (on time and in perfect shape), their customer support reached out to me, I confirmed I had not received the final box, and they said they would ship it out immediately.

I got a new shipping confirmation, which listed one of the items as backordered for like 7months. When I emailed to ask about the backordered part (surge protector) I didn’t hear back, and instead got a new order confirmation that just had the surge protector removed – but no refund or communication.

I eventually called them, and the customer service rep was very helpful and explained the situation with the backordered accessory and got me a refund. There were then numerous shipping delays on FedEx’s part which I can’t blame UpLift for at all, but that final box had the main piece of the frame.

So for a month I had 5 huge boxes in my house that couldn’t be assembled. It would have been nice for them to prioritize getting the main desk shipped out together to avoid this. The desk top: I purchased the white laminate 1″ desk top, and when I finally opened the box I was SO disappointed.

It feels like cheap melamine you’d find at a home improvement store. The edge is wrapped nicely, but the seam between the top and the side came discolored and dirty. I’ve been able to clean it a little, but it still looks dirty from close up, and I worry about the durability of the top itself.

Seems like any scratch will easily go through the surface. I don’t know this for sure, but just makes me nervous to set anything on it (thankful I added the writing desk pad! haha). I’m not sure if the other laminate styles would feel the same or not, but if I were to order again I would choose differently as I was expecting a nicer laminate finish.

Some other notes on accessories: The Zilker Dual Monitor Arms are easy to install and use, but with two 28″ monitors, you really have to have them pushed forward about 8-12″ in order for them to sit side by side, touching.

Otherwise the arms will push out behind the back edge of the desk (which doesn’t work if your desk is against a wall). This isn’t a big deal to me, because I use the desk while on a treadmill, so I’m further back from the edge of the desk, but would have been an issue I’d wish I’d know if I wanted to use them back pushed all the way back.

Overall, I like the desk and the mobility is great. Delivery was a pain, and I hope the desk top holds up over time.

I assembled the desk with the shelves on the right side. Even though the instructions said it is good to have another person helping, I did everything on my own. That included moving the desk from an upside down position to a right side up position.

What makes assembly so easy is having all the parts ready to use, and having the wood hole parts reinforced by metal threads for the bolts to tighten into. The biggest decision is which side to put the shelves.

I knew what to do since the desk assembly is very similar to my rough pine coffee table assembly. Thank you LLBean for another great piece of furniture!.

I was looking for a sturdy desk. Took a chance on this one and found a winner. Directions were simple and easy to follow. It was put together by myself with just the tools that it came with. Loving it.

I am writing this with a 3 star with an asterisk. In the beginning it would have been a 1 star. The short story is the fact that it took 4 desktops to get an undamaged desktop. The unit is beautiful and I love the way that it looks and the way that it works.

I’m just shocked that it took 3 months and 4 desktops to get 1 top that wasn’t damaged. If I was reviewing the shippers it would be a 1 star. If I was reviewing the people that designed the packaging and packaged the top it would be a 1 star.

If I had received the desk undamaged on the first try, it would have easily been a 5 star review. I’m thankful that I have the desk and I enjoy it every day, but am very disappointed that it took so long and I have had spend the extra time to set up, tear down and re-setup the desk because of the mishaps.

LOVE this desk. Super high quality and very easy to put together. Had it for about 2 years now with no issues. Some light scratches where my keyboard is but that’s on me for not having a pad beneath it.

Only complaint is that the drawers have these tabs on the back that will catch on items if you stack contents to the top. This makes them a little frustrating to use as they are already quite small and then you have to under-fill/be careful what you put in there.

I knew they were small when I purchased, so I have desktop/side of desk storage too and that works just fine. Overall very happy with it.

I bought two desks, one for myself and one for my husband and we love them!! They are so well made, very sold and sturdy wood. They came nicely wrapped, no dents or imperfections. There is not alot of assembly required, took about 20 minutes to put together.

The drawers open and close easily and the bottom shelf gives some extra storage. I recommend this desk to anyone looking for a quality product.

Way easier to assemble with two people, but it’s not necessary. I read comments about out gassing, but did not find this desk to be any worse than any other new piece of furniture. As for the desk itself, it looks fantastic, is solid and feels high quality.

If what you see in the photos and specifications looks like it will work for you, than it almost certainly will!.

I think this desk is pretty good so far. The wood looks really nice and it fits in perfectly if you’re looking for a minimal workspace for a laptop or PC anywhere in your home. It takes virtually no time to assemble – you just fold the sides into place then slide in the keyboard tray.

I don’t think it’s the most sturdy desk you could find but honestly I think it works great if you just need it for a computer. It fits my laptop and a second monitor quite comfortably, with a keyboard and mouse on the keyboard try and room for a notebook and a few other small items.

The built in charging station is pretty handy too.

I love it! It is heavy, real wood! You just need to instal the legs which is very easy. The drawers are open smoothly. Good size and beautiful design! Recommending it!! One small note – the surface is a little rough kind of scabrous so when you want to write you have to make sure you have something under your paper , I’ve added my table calendar so the problem is solved!.

Great beach vibe natural wood desk. Bought it when my college kids returned home due to Covid-19. My daughter easily put it together and loves it. Fits perfectly I’m her room and adds style.

This small desk is both my desk and our kitchen table! Works great, the light colour brightenes our space. I was disappointed in the size of the 2 drawers though. They are not big enough to hold a standard size piece of paper.
