12 Best Wood For Humidor (2022 Updated)

I ordered this humidor , it arrived earlier than expected. The packaging was very well done. Was concerned with it consisting of wood and glass that it might arrive damaged. It did not. The engraving was perfect , every word spelled correctly , as well as precise punctuation.

As I requested ! I have used personalization mall in the past. And have been very satisfied with the workmen ship. It looks pristine. I am so excited to present this a Christmas gift. Thank you once again !.

It’s hard to review because a humidor needs to sit for some time and be able to work before one knows if it is a good humidor. It is a beautiful piece with beautiful work and feels well built. The only thing I do not like is the element.

it looks like a run of the mill element. then again it might not be. This is why it is difficult to review.

I bought this gift for my future husband lol. He’s not really emotional but good God, this man damn near cried when he saw it. He stated it was THE BEST gift he’s ever received and also said he most likely won’t use it because of how nice it is.

I do plan on buying another one so he will use it since he is an avid cigar smoker. If you think stuff like this is cheesy, this is not the site for you. If you want to wow or woo someone, this is the site for you.

This man loves this more than he loves me. He had no idea that humidors could be personalized, so seeing his name on it, made him go crazy. The only thing is, it’s smaller than his current humidor, so I wish it had been a larger size.

It DOES NOT matter to him. He loves it. It has a very classic, sophisticated look. It seems to be made pretty well, and is serving its purpose. If you’re thinking about it – get it. He will love it.

I received the green Military Case Elegance humidor as a very generous birthday gift from my best friend. I had personally been in the market for a humidor and stumbled upon this humidor while researching myself.

I ended up settling, at the time, on an R60 Pelican case with a Boveda pack and called it a day. It works, it’s rugged, and it’s nice to travel with but it lacks what this humidor PACKS. First and foremost, Mike, Ian, and the rest of the Klaro team are top notch.

Mike and Ian are very passionate about cigars and their humidors. This shows in the humidor’s craftsmanship and most importantly, effectiveness. If you are shopping around for humidors, stop. Look no more.

The only other decision you should make is which Case Elegance humidor suits you best. Personally, I love this military style and am impartial to it. If you currently have a boring Tupperware, which although effective, lacks the tradition, classiness, and ritual aspect of cigar smoking, do yourself a favor and make the upgrade.

Lastly, if you have one the average “wood” humidors you see online, on Amazon, or maybe in your local shop, they do not even closely compare to the quality and craftsmanship this humidor provides. Make the purchase, follow the clear and concise instructions, and ENJOY.

This is my second humidor from CE; My first one was damaged in a recent move and so I decided to upgrade holding space. First off; my initial purchase was amazing, I had issues with getting my humidor to the correct level in the dry Colorado climate, a quick message through Facebook and was very well taken care of.

Because of my initial experience I of course wanted to return with business. This new humidor is even better, the quality is off the charts, the attention to detail is amazing and it’s very well built! can’t wait to pull this out at the next cigar night with friends!.

I am a newbie in the cigar scene. after listening to the Cigar Talk Pod cast and watching the You tube video about this Military Box style Humidor I had to have it. The design of the box and the simple instructions on how to care for it is amazing.

The Customer Service is awesome. Living in Nebraska it is kind of hard to keep the Humidity regulated and after a few emails and a few txt messages we have it under control. This sits right in the end table to show and tell about this product.

Excellent humidor for the entry or mid level smoker. It’s holding humidity levels perfectly with included beads and one Boveda packb with, no additional work. I have two Xikar hygrometers, one on the top shelf and one on the bottom shelf and both are reading at 68 and 67 RH.

The humidor is holding two boxes of Oliva V Melanios’ and about 40 other high end cigars, which displays them nicely! The already installed analog hygrometer is surprisingly accurate as well. I definitely would buy it again.

This is a well built and beautiful box. Looks great on the mantle and inside it is finely crafted. Might buy some for my sons.

Great size. Holds humidity well. I consider it a great purchase.Absolutely amazing. If I needed a bigger one, I would just buy 2 or 3 of these. I’ve never seen one maintain the perfect humidity.

I know a lot about Humidors and I hav to say this is a well made, extremely well. It forces the air out when closing and the seal is perfect! If it’s cured well, the humidity will stay constant between 70 and 80.

You will not be disappointed at all.

Recently got into the cigar hobby via my son-in-law, and noticed nearly every cigar I purchased myself and stored in one of those humidified baggies with a humidity pack in it would err on the side of almost bitter to me — I almost quit my new hobby!! I received one of these humidors a few years back as a gift from my wife. After a couple years with no issues, and almost flawless hold at 70/70 I started to experience an issue with humidity dropping to about 60.

I was deployed at the time, so told my wife a few things to try and get the humidity back up to no avail. When I got back I tried everything I knew to do, but again, no luck. I contacted Case Elegance via email because I really liked the product and asked if they could do anything to help, despite the fact my humidor was past the one year warranty.

Case Elegance was absolutely awesome. They were quick to communicate with me and after a couple emails and a few photos I had a replacement humidor mailed to me free of charge. Full disclosure, it turned out there must have been a spill I never noticed in the humidor that caused some warping.

Spanish Cedar is the preferred wood to line a humidor for structural stability under high moisture levels of 70% humidity. Rocklers cedar is of excellent quality milled specifically for humidors. Besides the lining, all the trays to hold cigars are also made from Spanish Cedar to increase the available surface area to absorb moisture.
