Great communication and excellent product. We love the character that these shelves have, and they’re perfect for our bar nook. I bought heavy duty wall toggles to use on one side where there wasn’t a convenient stud, and everything looks great.

Lovely boxes! These match my other reclaimed barn oak wood pieces perfectly. These are definitely authentic reclaimed wood. Well worth the money. Super fast shipping as well.

I’m not impressed. My frames are different sizes in depth and their chipped and have holes in the woods. Their light weight and cheaply made. Not at all what I was expecting. Wish I could get a refund.

I purchased this garment rack for my heavy winter jackets. I needed something that can hold a lot of weight. This seems to be the best material and sturdy enough for the job. Here is a bit of very important advice.

DO NOT wash parts with soap and water as I did. after opening package I placed all small parts inside a bucket with dish soap and sink water. I then grabbed a brush and scrubbed all the parts. After I layed them out to dry in the sun on a towel I noticed rust and de lamination on most the small parts (Not long pipes).

The rust made it into the threading and I was unable to properly assemble the rack. Instead lightly spray parts with Windex or use a Clorox wipe to clean parts before assembly. Also wear a pair of gloves while working with parts.

These are really great looking industrial style shelves. The pipe brackets were fairly easy to install if you have a stud finder a level a power drill. and a good cross head (phillips) screw driver. Would have given a 5 star but a few of the hollow wall anchors snapped while screwing in the drywall.

I think they were not as tough as they needed to be. Do not use the power drill to screw in the wall anchors or replace with a tougher wall anchor. Other than that it is a very nice unit. These is real piping.

Heavy and tough. Make sure you secure well. The shelves are rustic and natural looking. I went with the black stain and like it very much. Good stuff!.

Beautiful shelf but lots to do before installation. I cleaned each metal piece with Mineral Spirits then painted them matte black. I found it easiest to attach the bracket to the board first. You have to measure them if you want them all equal as each piece did not screw together equally.

We screwed one screw into the wall on the left bracket leveled it up and screwed one into the right bracket. From there we could finish putting screws in. You have to have it just right so you have access to all four screw holes too.

All in all it’s beautiful. Can’t wait to get it decorated and pictures hung.

One of the shelves came in cracked. Also, the instructions show pictures; however, it would have been so much better to have a removable sticker attached to each piece, as they were all similar. It is a heavy piece for such a small bookcase.

I also needed it for binders, so I removed one of the shelves.

Good basic bookshelf for the price. I bought it for my overflow of mostly paperbacks. I would not load it with heavy textbooks. Easy to assemble. Shelf heights are adjustable, making it good for large books of maps or artwork.

The only thing I don’t like I is that the ends are open so that you have to put big books on ends because small books fall through the space. But I am satisfied with the way it looks and works.

The key for me, a small apartment dude, is versatility, especially because I love being a writer, a cook and a handyman. Right now I have four of these units next to each other, with the bottom three shelves full of books, the top shelves with small gadgets, tool-kits resting comfortable in-between, and three bonsai trees and a fish tank (untenanted for now) on top.

Outstanding doesn’t begin to describe this little shelf. It looks just like the picture and is of substantial weight (check the weight in the product description). I’ve stripped down a large, basic cabinet built long ago and am adding this to the top of it, since it fits perfectly.

I might paint over the distressed look so that the cabinet looks like one unit when it’s redone. This shelf can be used for so many things if you pay close attention to the dimensions. It seems to be real wood, which I like.

I ordered four of these distressed shelves and they are absolutely stunning! The distressing and detailing are amazing. I am planning to hang them directly above two long windows in our great room, and two long widows in our dining area.

I’m using them more as a window accessory rather than a shelf. They are the exact width I needed for the windows. We have 12 foot ceilings and they add great visual interest as you walk into the room.

They are very heavy, just FYI. They match our distressed white French country dining room furniture to a tee. I absolutely love them and was even happier they were on sale at the time of purchase. I’m so pleased!.

I was so disappointed when I got this product. It was beautiful, but paint was chipping off in multiple areas. I returned it and ordered another one. The second was in worse shape than the first. It had huge cracks all over it snd looked damaged.

I will not try for a third time.

This is beautifully crafted and so very pretty to fit in with any shabby chic, farmhouse, or rustic decor. I liked the first one so much, I ordered a second.

The shelf arrived by mail. Upon opening, the shelf came with small chips in the center, the laminate was peeling, and both sides were scratched (small scratches and large scratches). Moreover, the shelf was dirty with some sticky substance.

This might be chalked up to warehousing and packaging issues, but this speaks to quality control and product durability. Definitely returning.

Roland has been manufacturing state-of-the-art keyboards for decades now. When I saw a used Fantom X8 for such a reasonable price, I hastened to order it. I was not disappointed! I love the feel of the keys; I love the piano sounds (especially the EP sounds with the extra bass, the string sounds, its overall functions, etc.

, etc. Although Roland has moved on to newer keyboards & technology since the X8, I consider myself a very humbled owner of this classic, timeless workstation.

Bought these for my daughters reading nook. She uses them as a shelf to put books and cute room ornamentals. We love the modern look it gives her pretten room. If installed correctly they are steady and reliable.

Shelf is beautiful, just wasn’t so sure about the mounting system. Very good instructions, and it ended up fine. Thought possibly the metal mounting piece could have been a little heavier. It looks great!.

The wood shelf looks great. Nice wood grain and finish. The 2″ thickness is very nice. The attachment method is too flimsy. My husband added extra support. Now the floating shelf is strong and it looks really nice.

Wonderful product, well made. Fits perfectly with those looking for the reclaimed wood aesthetic. The only things I would improve to make it perfect on are:- The mounting plate should have some common reference points, like center and 50% left/right so that it makes it easier to precisely align with other elements on your wall.

– Instructions can be a bit clearer about the two different types of screws. I almost used the wrong kind because the long version has a round cap which made me think it would interfere with the mounting plate contact with the shelf piece.

– The securing screws on top are only there to make sure the shelf stays slide off the mount sideways. Therefore, they could be pre-drilled and use bolts instead so that you don’t need need to drill holes, as well as making them easier to remove when you want to relocate the unit.

Great experience with the shelves. They arrived quickly and exactly as pictured. actually a bit more impressive to see in person. The wood is rich and they are a great size. We hung ours, one over the other, in our kitchen, where a large wall was perfect for some exposed storage.

We hung the shelves on dry wall with dry wall screws. The provided screws are probably fine for most surfaces, but better safe than sorry. Anyway, love the shelves. Perfectly functional and aesthetically very pleasing.

USING IN MY KITCHEN AND LOVE THEM TO DISPLAY MY CUTE APPLIANCES AND DISHES

Assembling the shelves was easy. However, installing them on the wall lined up perfectly was terrible. The installation template is printed on paper that you must fold and tape to the wall. Printing, folding, and taping all introduce errors.

Additionally, the anchors provided did not work for my drywall (yes, I have drywall, but it is some of the oldest type there is). After installing the wall anchors that I had to go buy at Home Depot, the shelves ended up being too close too each other and were cockeyed.

Yes, I had all the appropriate tools. I had to uninstall two of the units, space them farther apart, install new anchors, patch the old/incorrect holes, paint them, and then finally hang up the units.

If you’re going to buy multiple units, please plan to have gaps between them to save yourself a ton of hassle and frustration.

After a lengthy delay, my two index shelving units arrived and look amazing. They were very easy to assemble. I didn’t use the plastic molly bolts as the shelves are on the heavier side especially when adding books.

I like how precise the shelves fit together and am considering a 2nd set to hang vertically. Very nice clean lines. The only reason for the 4 stars is because I ordered these in early July; their website said 1-3 week delivery timeframe.

However, they did not arrive until after October 5th. Customer support was always very responsive to my questions about where the order was but gave unrealistic dates. Finally someone stepped in about two weeks ago and explained what was going on (supply chain issues).

I see now that shelves have a 3-month wait which makes more sense than the 1-3 weeks posted on their website when I made the purchase.

The Index Wall Shelves are beautiful, well made, and make an interesting focal point of the room. I ordered 2 sets and they were fairly easy to hang and get right, with a lot of prep using the template and a level.

Once we did that, it took about 10 minutes to actually hang the shelves and they were perfectly aligned! BUT, the shelf colors were off between the 2 sets I ordered. One set was noticeably darker than the other—the shelves are expensive and it’s disappointing that the staining isn’t consistent.

Would give 5 stars if the shelf color was closer in the 2 sets.

The board is very solid, and surprisingly heavy!! It is finished nicely, and almost fits the space I had designate for it. but it works very well. I needed a space for books under a plant stand, and this fits the bill.

I am very pleased!.

I have called and left emails about these. They were NOT 24 inches; they were 23. 5. My carpenter had to go to the lumber yard to get the right ones. I want my money back!!!!!!! You can send me a label to return these to you.

Looking for shelves in this size for a couple years, found exactly what I needed and it was delivered within a few days.

The size was just a little larger than I was expecting but it was very nice. I picked up my cutting board oil and treated the wood. It was very nice for about 3 weeks. I go out for one night and come back, the board is warped.

The cutting board is now in a “U” shape. So, many of my large knives cannot get a flat surface to cut on. The outer edges are falling apart and this was just a waste of money. It’s really sad because I really liked the cutting board up until it became worthless.

Maybe I will use it for firewood when winter comes.

Rough surface out of the box – would have expected it to be smooth and oiled but it was like raw wood. Not a nice feel. Have sanded and oiled myself and it improved. I think with 1-2 more rounds of sanding and oiling and it will be nice – this should be done by manufacturer though.

Other than the surface finish, it looks great and rubber feet are handy. The juice catching trough around the edges is nice but makes cleaning trickier than a flat board. Overall nice for the price though.

The Catskill Craftsmen cutting board/butcher block is made of a fairly dense hardwood; the considerable weight might be off-putting for those who wish to use it as an occasional cutting board but it is absolutely boss atop my rolling kitchen cutting stand.

The instructions recommend treating it strzight away with mineral oil/block lotion so be sure to research that and order some at the same time.

UPDATE: Article was super quick to reach out to address the issue, and figure out how to make it right. That kind of service is rare, so I’ll view this as a one-off incident that’s now been addressed, and give them another shot in the future.

I’ve always loved their product and design. Super smooth online purchase and seamless delivery. I fell in love with the look and design of this shelf online, but was a little dissatisfied with the product once it arrived in person: 1) splitting/chipping at one end, 2) the posts are slightly misaligned at the pinnacle, and 3) the tone of the walnut stain finish doesn’t even look similar to a coordinating Article floor mirror I had previously purchased (and love!) Now just trying to figure out how to place it to disguise the flaws and make the mismatched stains less noticeable.

For a brand new item at this price, i really wish this product could have delivered on quality and value.

The piece itself is nice and seems decent quality. I gave it 3 stars because the packaging it came in was absurd. The box was at least 10 feet long and the “15 minute assembly” isn’t really fair considering it took me an hour and a half to get the pieces out of the box and break it down.

I’ve never been compelled to write a review of furniture but the insane size of the box compared to the item and the amount of cardboard and styrofoam inside the box was truly unwieldy, not to mention incredibly wasteful.

As much as I like the piece I will be thinking twice prior to ever buying from article because as crazy as it sounds, the unboxing (in an NYC apartment) was fairly nightmarish. I hope they can find more compact/efficient packaging in the future.

This shelf is stunning in our dining room. It matches the curve of a simple wavy shape we painted in pink on our wall (Jovial SW 6611). As always, Article products are dripping with style and this shelf is no exception.

One minor annoyance in the building phase was getting the pre-drilled holes on the shelves to line up properly on the frame structure. It wasn’t overly complicated, but lots of flexing, re-positioning, pulling, pushing to get things to line up made the put-together phase drag out slightly longer than usual.

Nowhere near a dealbreaker though! Very happy with this purchase.

Shelves are great and what I needed, HOWEVER they were shipped with NO protection or padding. All 3 shelves had a damaged corner (thankfully it was the rear corner that isnt visible). PROTECT YOUR PRODUCT BY SHIPPING APPROPRIATELY!.

I needed a couple extra shelves for my closet and had a difficult time finding the correct size. These fit perfectly and seem to be well made. They’re heavier than my existing shelves.

These shelves are exactly as described, which was a huge relief — they fit into my closet perfectly. Good quality, ordering more now!

Arrived on time and was packaged well. The shelf fit perfectly into my existing closet built-in!

They had little or no package protection and arrived damaged.

The jury is still out on this. The selves look great but are a bit wobbly. Mine are installed over a toilet with the intention to hold maybe light items, toilet paper, towels, etc. As long as significant weight is not put on them I think they’ll be ok but not for heavy use.

Can’t beat the price.

These shelves are great. Good depth and solid. The only issue for me was the 16” shelves are actually closer to 13” wide on the bracket, so cannot be supported by two studs. I was worried with the sheer weight of the shelves but I haven’t seen any droop or gapping.

Very pretty shelves! The wood is real pine–you can even smell it! The color is just what I was looking for, a nice medium brown. Shelves are finished, so I can keep my plants on them. I wouldn’t put anything too too heavy on them, but that’s because the anchors that come with them are plastic.

If you’re looking to have them ultra secure and not just to feature decor, I would recommend buying your own wall anchors and hardware. Overall, though, I am very happy with this purchase!.

This was easy to put on my wall, the instructions were extremely helpful. However, I will say the anchors are not that strong. They bend very easily so try to have another set of anchors on hand, if you are looking to put something very heavy on the shelves.

Fantastic pieces. Solid wood, very sturdy. Fairly easy to install with the provided YouTube link. I purchased two sets for the sides of my wall mounted tv and they look amazing. I’m really happy with them.
