The board deck is good, trucks are also good, however the bushings could be better. These are very soft, when when you tighten them the nut sticks out too much. The wheels are a good size but they are too firm, should be little softer.

You can really feel the hard plastic wheels land on the ground every time you ollie. The bearings come within a rating of 7 abec and it does say on them, however they do NOT spin as they should, very slow.

They are very rough and the skater has to push very hard. Perhaps I just got a bad batch of bearings. I would go for something a little better next time, something smoother and more balanced.

I bought one of these in a sporting goods store for myself, I’m very happy with this as my first board. Overall I would say the board feels “sturdy”, it has a bit of heft to it but glides smoothly and is easy to turn.

I didn’t do any adjustments to the trucks or wheels out of the packaging. I like the feel of it especially as a beginner, just staying on the board is hard enough early on so I don’t think I’d like a “slippery” feeling board.

The tail has stood up fairly well to me accidentally grinding it against the pavement several times, it’s a bit shaved but no indications of it snapping. The body and sides are solid, they’ve stood up to me floundering and stomping on them quite a bit.

There is one spot between the screws for one of the trucks where the grip tape has eroded quite a bit, but I haven’t noticed any loss of control due to that. The wheels still look great albeit being dirty, no large pits or chunks missing from them.

I have a feeling the grip tape may need to be replaced after 2-3 months of heavy use, and the board may not be a lifer, but the trucks I really like on this board and can see moving to the next deck if I someday snap this one.

I loved the board! It was the right length, the grip tape was very good and the wheels spun so that’s already pretty good. You could use it right out the box if you’re a beginner to skateboarding and want to use your board immediately.

But coming from someone who has experience with skateboarding I want to point out that the wheels were definitely swapped out for better ones. They were pretty basic wheels but they didn’t ride smooth for me and I had a hard time getting the speed I wanted to perform certain tricks.

I also loosened the trucks so I had better movement as they were pretty stiff. I mainly bought this board so I could customize the deck but not spend a whole lot of money on the additional pieces I would need to buy if I had bought the deck seperate.

But, overall, for a beginner board it’s pretty good! Definitely recommend if you don’t want to spend the typical $100 because you’re starting out :).

I had been looking for a longboard for my oldest teenage daughter. I looked on online and I found it to be the easiest to just go directly to the Retrospec website. It was great to see the options and the prices were even better then other websites.

I love everything about the Zed Longboard. This is my first skateboard purchase. I’ve wanted one since I was a kid. I purchased two for my daughters to learn to ride and had to get one for myself. We use it mostly for cruising around.

Purchased another for my god-daughter as well. Overall experience was awesome for this purchase. Board designs are gorge- wish I could have them all. The quality is excellent- gotta break it in at first, but very durable afterward.

I order two Zed Long Boards for my kiddos for Christmas. I searched around different sites looked for Skateboards that would be high quality at a reasonable price. And I have to say that I lucked out when I stumbled across Retrospec!!! I need some safe, sturdy, well-made boards and that just what I got.

They were delivered on time which was great conciding we live on the East coast. These Long Boards are PHENOMENAL! They easy enough to ride without breaking body parts but still have great maneuverability to be enjoyable.

The fat wheels are great on concrete & black top. Needless to say. my children LOVE them!.

I bought this for my 4 year old daughter because the size seemed like a good fit for her, but i’m 6’5 225 pounds and can ride it just fine. Granted it’s tiny for me; but it’s so fun to rip around on I may just need to get another one for myself! The wheels weren’t rolling fast, so i just loosened the nuts a half turn with the skate tool which sped things up.

Great little board reminiscent of the Hobie cruisers from the 70’s; tiny, portable, and fun! The world needs more quality small skateboards like this. Attractive deck and graphics to boot, with multiple shapes on offer.

Love it all around and recommend it if you are on the fence.

I got this for free when ordering a longboard during a sale. I’ve always wanted to learn how to longboard and decided to go with the cruise glider. I started on the longboard because it was more difficult as a beginner to start on the micro cruiser.

After getting comfortable on the longboard, this became much easier. It rolls faster than I was expecting and it’s easy to push. Also turns nicely. As a beginner, with a little time and practice, it’s a comfortable board.

It’s very compact too and could definitely fit in a backpack.

Best Micro Board! Unsure of its small size, but man- it rides like the wind! Bought for portability & riding with my BoChi, Yoshi, pulling for his daily exercise/running! Great materials and hardware! Wish there was a way for me to purchase the wheel set that came on my son’s SUV board.

So, I had a lot of ups and downs with this at frist, but most of it is my fault because this is my first long board and I made a bunch of simple and most likley, rookie mistakes. But I won’t go too into all that.

I didn’t like how the board was wrap in plastic and then had the trucks attached. I may not have had to remove the trucks to get the plastic off, but that is what I chose to do. Still pretty annoying though, as it was what lead me into some of the rookie mistakes.

Other than that, I have been pleasantly surprised. I’m a heavier guy and this board supports me just fine, turns well, and the base bearings are decent enough. I imagine I can always buy better bearings and swap them out, but I am happy at their level for a cheaper beginner board.

To start with, this is a great beginner skateboard. It is very strong and well made. It is a long skateboard so you have plenty of space. I like the fact that the colors and design of it is for both boys and girls, so everone can use it.

Also It comes with stone ground cast wheels, perfect for turning and doing some tricks. I’ll suggest that this skateboard is good for teenagers because the wheels are very loose and you need to have some kind of experience to handle it.

Overall I highly recommend this skateboard because it is very durable and easy to use.

My daughter is loving this new skateboard. It’s a great length and width. The wheels roll nice and smooth and has plenty of turning ability. The graphics on the board are clean, crisp and simple – not overdone like so many other boards.

The board was wrapped in plastic for shipping which was nice but it was annoying that they put the trucks (wheel assembly part) over the plastic so you have to cut the plastic off around the trucks. Other than that, it’s a great skate board for a novice rider.

Great Pro deck at a great price. After looking around this was the best website for what I needed. Outer box was heavily damaged upon delivery and slight scratches on deck graphic. Other then that 10 / 10.

I bought this for my 17 year old son and he absolutely loves it. It’s smooth and he’s able to do his tricks on it. He’s happy so I’m happy.

As far as the quality and speed of the delivery and the product 99/100! The only tiny problem I had was the packaging which came in a bit of a state but it didn’t affect this great quality skateboard.

The deck is great although the color from the picture and the actual deck are different. The pic looks white with blue letters, the deck is cream with blackish-olive colors. Shipping and service were outstanding!.

Great design, good sturdy board, but the bearings on this complete kit are trash and the wheels feel cheap.

I’m a complete beginner at skateboarding and was looking for something cheap to learn on but better than a walmart board. Santa got my son a board for Christmas. My wife and I thought we’d try to learn as well.

We bought two of these package deals from tgm based on reviews, YouTube videos and price. Shipping was fast, well packaged, and assembly was easy (after watching a few online videos). Honestly these are probably nicer set ups than we needed.

For the price we couldn’t pass them up. Not being a professional i can’t comment on all the components but everything works as it should. My son got a blind complete board from the Z chain store and the quality here is just as good.

I thought this was a great way to introduce us to skateboarding without breaking the bank. We’ll leaving the breaking to 40plus year olds on skateboards!.

I really like this board and the rest of what comes with it, it’s very good quality and I really enjoy it. The only thing I would say is bad about it is that the trucks are small, a lot smaller than they should be.

Other than that it was a great buy.

The board was easy to assemble together. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The board is a nice neon color, sturdy, and overall durable. The trucks, bearings, and wheels were simple to put together.

The grip tape itself is a nice grade and easy to attach to the board as well.

I bought this for my brother-in-laws son who is getting into skating. It\’s a perfectly fine board. and is good enough for him to find out whether or not this is something for him. The build quality looks and feels good, the concave and the pitch of the kicks of the board are both quite mellow.

Tensor trucks are perfectly good metal trucks too. I like the fact that the wheels are 92A and not 99A or more. As a kid the last thing you want to have to worry about is not being able to get anywhere because your wheels are too hard and the streets eat any and all speed you are trying to get.

The bearings roll as expected and they are all sealed. All in all I can definitely recommend this board that is at least half the price of the custom set ups I usually ride myself.

It’s a decent complete. The tensor alloy trucks are good-not great. I found the trucks to be too easy to turn but that probably better for a beginner that will rely on leaning to turn instead of pivoting.

The wheels are hard so they can handle some power slides without getting flat spots but still have good grip. The width of the trucks match the width of the deck so you can primo. The panda on the trucks is a nice touch.

Nice set up. has great concave. This board is a great starter board. It comes with Tensor Trucks that also have the enjoy Panda stamped on them which I thought was cool. Enjoy wheels and some decent bearings.

Comes ready to ride straight out of the box. I definitely recommend this board to any beginning skater and even to experienced skaters. Definitely a “Good Quality Set Up” that’s for sure.

I skated 30 years ago and decided to get back into it for the phys. I think this is a great beginners board. The ABEC 5 bearings are perfect for now (speed) which allows me to focus on the basics of strong kicking/front foot placement/balance/turning etc.

I’ll upgrade to some Reds in a few weeks time but for now, this complete ticks all the boxes. Make sure you buy a hand tool as you’ll need to adjust the trucks/wheels to your liking.

Grate delivery and service, but board is not grate quality my son skates and the board is already splintering and damages very easily, I would expect it to last longer than it has, He has gone back to riding his old one!! Disappointed.

It is nice, it has nice turning and also has a nice size, personally I wear a size 10 shoe and it’s easy to control, also the wheels are great to use. Overall great board, I recommend this board.

Price – Quality ? This one is perfect. For the more experienced skater : In my opinion the Tensor trucks make this deck worth it already. If your looking for a “side-deck” it’s not bad at all. Do note : the deck is rather heavy, even considering it’s 8.

25”, luckily it generates just enough pop to still be able to land some good stuff. Just don’t expect anything crazy. The bearings are definetly not the best quality. The wheels themselves offer a smooth ride though.

I put this thing through hell and it doesn’t show signs of giving up. Excellent choice for beginners, it offers great stabilty. the globe logo on the griptape allows you to easily tell nose from tail.

And the design looks clean, with all the colors matching. Would recommend, especially for beginners with big feet ;).

This is an overall good quality skateboard! While the graphic on the deck is beautiful, other good aspects of the board also include the silky smooth bearings and good size. Upon arrival, I found that the wheels were a bit too tight causing it to be slower than its full potential so I just loosened them a bit with my skate tool.

I did the same with the trucks. The only reason why I gave this board a 4-star rating instead of a 5 is the condition the board came in–there was an amount of scratches on the bottom of the deck and a small chip on the side of the board.

These don’t impact the ride of the skateboard, it was just made clear that this was not a brand new skateboard. Nonetheless, it was a very low price for a high quality board.

For the money, this skateboard is quite impressive. It rides well and one can definitely learn with it. After six months skating it, it has a strong razor tail and a few chips, but it hasn\’t snapped.

I bought a second set of wheels quite quickly since the ones that it came with were just too hard (101a) and I suffered skating anywhere other than the skatepark. Besides that, I had to change the bearings after 3 months since they several of them were not rolling well anymore.

Today, after six months, I ordered new bushings for the trucks since the ones it came with just lock to a side after I land something. All in all, I was pretty happy and would recommend this to someone that ones to try out the sport and doesn\’t want to spend more on a custom setup.

This is an awesome little board. I went with the non-flashy, all-black version as to not draw attention and cause problems with airlines, museums, or train staff. I would’ve gone with the equivalent offering from the Penny brand, but their decks were too flexy and not grippy enough to inspire much confidence.

I’m 6’3, 175lbs, with size 11. 5 shoes (I wore Nike Court Vision Lows for this trip). I found the size of this board to be just right for zooming around European cities and small enough to carry through museums or other attractions in hand or strapped to a backpack.

It might be a little too small for some beginners, but it can certainly be used to navigate most obstacles (including over sections of cobblestone) and speeds with some practice. The deck is grippy and stiff enough to utilize the kick tail.

The axles are stable, even with the risers that come included. I was a fan of the wheels, still fast and soft with no chipping or flat spots after multiple miles a day for 3 weeks abroad. As for the bearings, I had swapped them for Bones Super Reds and put the new Globe ABEC7 bearings in another board I had.

The Bones bearings are phenomenal, but may not have been worth the upgrade if I hadn’t had a use for the new Globe bearings as the Globe bearings are also pretty great. I would recommend using the stock bearings until they fail before considering upgrading.

The best part is that the board is small enough to count as a “personal item” far carry-on purposes. In addition to a carry-on sized backpack (that was packed with all of my other items), I was able to carry the board by itself onto my American Airlines and Iberia Air flights and onto many trips by train.

If strapped tightly, it can also count as part of a carry-on backpack. Both travel options worked for me with no questions or concerns from airline staff. Smiles all around!.

I bought this so that I could cruise around the neighborhood with my daughter. I skated regular freestyle/ street for years and this is my first longboard. This is a really nice quality board with good trucks, wheels, and great bearings.

It is very smooth over irregularities in the pavement and very fast. the size is perfect; the long wheelbase gives great stability and the slight concave and kick tail feel familiar and make it easy to pivot and tick tack like a freestyle board.

Overall, it’s a lot of fun and I am very satisfied with the quality.

The Molokai color (aka the red board) is not as described on the site. The bottom color is closer to a coral color in real life and the top of the deck has tropical flowers all over it. 100% not what I was expecting when I purchased it.

Evo needs to do a better job of updating the product description and photos. I had to return because it was absolutely not what I knew the 8 year old boy would want for his first skateboard. I continue to give this 4 stars because the board itself I am sure is great as I personally love my own Globe Cruiser.

after only a few months of light use the exterior stopped shedding water. the water soaks through the jacket. I never washed the jacket so the exterior treatment should not have failed. The interior started to delaminate near the hood.

Not what one would expect from a jacket that retails for over 500 dollars.

I am learning to skateboard so I purchased this with an Arbor Dropship longboard. I liked having two styles to try and being able offer to a board for my 12 year old try if she decided she was interested (she was a little nervous to learn at first).

Well, I am now down to one board for myself and need to save up for my own pocket cruiser. My kid lost all hesitation after the first day we went out. She is already practicing tricks! Love the design (which will promptly gain character).

The board itself is very lightweight, but tough (typical bamboo). The ride is smooth and fast and the trucks are responsive. It is a smooth ride, but the smaller size makes it work well for tricks. We both love it, and I am glad I bought it for us to learn on.

I already have a very nice cruiser that I use when I go to the park, but this one very small and not not useful for longer distances. The Arbor Groundswell Fish 37″ is relatively light, which makes it perfect for everyday use.

I tested the board in the city center, and I fell in love immediately! The board is very comfortable and small bumps and stones are hardly noticeable. The board has a very beautiful artwork and a classic shape.

For the price of a complete you get a really high quality setup. It is the perfect replacement for my bike. It is a very good board for beginners and advanced riders. I can recommend this board to everyone because it is simply suitable for both!.

I used to longboard a ton in the early 00’s but a downhill scare made me realize that I am very mortal. My daughter was looking for a longboard and I saw this for a great price on the website. So I scooped it up for her 20th birthday.

She could probably write a review as well but here’s mine, since she has to keep kicking me off of the board. The deck. slightly concave so the feet stay locked in. Thought it would be too short for me to feel stable, not the case.

I’m locked in and have just the right amount of stability for carving moderate hills. The drop through deck keeps the ground closer. The trucks, wide and loose, but not too lose. Haven’t wobbled at high speeds yet.

I’ve always used Randall II trucks, but i think I like the Paris trucks better. The wheels and bearings. So smooth and sticky. Great for carving around town and cruising on moderate hills. I genuinely love this board.
