I had the same Alexandria 1/2-inch x 4 1/8-inch colonial baseboard in my house from a previous renovation a number of years ago and needed to match it. To my disapointment, the ‘todays’ version is like pressed cardboard at ‘covid pricing’.
The price was $3. 10/ft! What! So, the quality is half and the price was triple. So yeah, 1 star.
Very good product. Because they come primed, it was easy to paint them with one coat of white. The only pain was that the boards had been cut into all kinds of odd lengths and many of the ends were not square.
(We ordered them online during the lockdown) But we were very happy with how they looked after they were installed.

I was really disappointed by the planks. Almost all of them were cupped, which resulted in us having to also face nail them. I haven’t contacted the company yet to give them an opportunity to rectify the problem.
I’m short due to the cupping. Some were so bad that I just had to cull them out. I probably would have sent the whole lot back but my carpenter didn’t tell me until he had almost an entire box up so my bad on that.
I should have just bought cedar and painted it. I probably could have saved a couple of hundred dollars.
I actually purchased this from another source (sorry!) and we love it! It is exactly as described and as it looks in the up-close photo. The description says aged and weathered barn wood and rustic and the photo shows same; nothing showed/described a smooth surface.

I converted my unused dining space into an office, and needed a material that didn’t look formal. The rustic wood shiplap was exactly was I was looking for. The price, in my opinion, is good compared to most shiplaps or reclaimed barn wood.

These dowels were free of blemishes and 100% useful. I did not have to cut out any bad areas or change my carving in any way make sure your blades are real sharp because you can chip delicate carving areas with a dull blade.
This trim was shipped so well in a sturdy cardboard tube and arrived promptly. I ordered the wrong size, as I can’t measure wood trim properly. I will have to re-order once I figure out what size I need.
I thought that I had ordered one set of four lengths of roping but instead got two. One set contained some broken pieces and the other was in tact. I can still use the broken pieces as there is enough to salvage.
It was probably my error in getting a duplicate order so no big deal. I am happy with my purchase!.
No piece I received was longer than 82-83 inches. Fortunately, I was still able to complete my project with nothing left over, even though I had ordered an extra 8 foot long piece in case of cutting errors.
So essentially, I did not receive roughly 84 inches or almost 8 feet of molding that I paid for.
