20 Best Wood Gymnastic Rings (2022 Updated)

Arriving extremely fast. Packaged nicely. Better than expected and the length of the straps make for nice flexibility for where to use it, be it on gym frame, or outside in a tree for kids to swing on! (Never thought of THAT way to use this equipment, did you?) Quality hardwood and durable straps that can definitely take some good hard use.

Just recommend to get some hand chalk if your first times using these to save palms of hands.

The quality of this product is outstanding. I ordered the gymnastic rings in both sizes. Love them both! The smaller set is a bit small in circumference for my average sized adult hands. But they are SPOT ON for my kids.

The full size ones are perfect my my older teen children and myself. Very solid construction, looked them over quite thoroughly before hanging them to make sure the wood was top grade. Can honestly say i have no concerns about their strength or quality.

Exceptionally happy with my new rings. I’m a woodworker so know materials. These are made from very high quality multi ply plywood, there’s no voids in the wood which is common in cheaper sheet material.

The rings are also fine sanded without any scratch marks enabling immediate application of a finish. I gave mine a couple of coats of polyurethane and they look fantastic. I’m glad I spent the few extra dollars on these as opposed to the alternatives.

Rings slide down when any pressure is put on them. Rendering them useless. I wrote to them for advice. Never heard back.

The rings are great! the clips on the end of the straps are difficult to slide in. Recommend to look for better ones if you have a bigger budget.

I’m new to using rings and this is the first set that I bought, so take this from a novice’s viewpoint. I’ve seen similar rings in Crossfit gyms and these seem comparable in quality and durability to those.

Years ago I bought a TRX setup, but it sits in my closet. I think rings are superior to TRX. Why? These are more challenging and versatile. While a little bigger than TRX, rings are still transportable.

I hang the rings from my pull-up bar, but you could also go to any local park and hang them from a basketball pole or some other play area. The straps are long enough that you can attach them to most any elevated pole.

I think this was money well spent.

These rings replaced an old suspension trainer I had. The rings themselves are good quality and the straps and buckles are beefy. The price was right and shipping was fine. While I like the handles of my old trainer I couldn’t justify the cost.

Do not buy the 18 foot straps for a power rack. I accidentally bought the 18 foot straps. These are great for a different workout and definitely add in body weight training. I’m finding myself weaker than I thought when using the rings.

Takes a good amount of strength building to use for calisthenics. If using on a power rack that isn’t bolted down, be careful to not use in a way that will tip over the rack. If I had the time and proper garage I would hang from the ceiling, or outside on a tree.

Make sure you follow the directions for inserting into the clamp. If you do not insert as recommended the ring straps will slip with your weight on them. Overall, very solid and worth the price.

Purchased to change the workout routine. They are amazing! Wood finish is nice and a great grip, and the straps/buckle is great quality as well. Rep is fantastic, and ring workouts are challenging!

Im 97% sure that Beyonce was talking about adding these to your home gym when she said “if you like it then be sure to but a ring on it. ” These are the first Olympic Rings Ive ever used (apparently Ive lived a sheltered life) but I have been extremely pleased with the quality/feel of the entire setup (straps included).

I’ve been wanting rings forever now. When I saw there were some nice looking wood rings for under $50 I did not hesitate to order. The clear and durable looking measurement markers on the straps are excellent and take the guess work out of hanging them evenly.

My whole family uses these rings and they are hung on a portable pull-up bar between a doorway. I also like the convenient velcro straps to keep the straps tidy and not hanging around loosely. They do bang on the door frame from time to time and I’ve had to lightly sand off some tiny splintered wood.

This is by no means a fault on the rings, they are not hung in the ideal location, but it’s where they are right now. Overall, I love these rings!!.

The rings are great, high quality and safe. This is a 5 star product if options were given to reduce the size of the straps. I found them to be extremely long for my setup and wrapping them into a bundle so the excess does not hang causes the strap buckle to fall to the ring and gets in the way.

If an option to choose the length of the strap was available this would be easily more than 5 stars.

I bought these to replace my traditional straps. These are the way to go. It takes all the “eyeballing” to make sure they’re both equal length. The carabiners and straps are solid. This makes adjustments so much more easy in terms of knowing that both straps are equal.

But these or say goodbye to the gainz you never had.

Solidly made and functional. Beats spending so much money on other brands. The adjustments are easy to perform, and the exercises are numerous. One needs routines that are Push-Pull to work the entire body.

They are a little uncomfortable due to their length, but they do not keep you from performing the activities. The metal snaps and the bands are both substantial and thick. more convenient to use than the standard hoops’ straps.

First time using rings so I don’t have a good comparison point. Hung these from a tree in my backyard. They seem to be comprised of the right materiels for a long life. Their simple construction doesn’t allow for many failure points.

Bought this in the early stages of Covid-19 pandemic and I use it for many movements. I comes in handy as well for traveling. Nice sturdy rings and I particularly like the textured feel of the rings to aid in non-slippage in your grip.

These rings and straps looked great until it rained and then the rings fell apart. I had these rings mounted outside for 2 months. Two weeks ago my daughter came inside the house holding half a ring.

Apparently they do not use waterproof glue on the laminated wood of the rings and rain simply dissolves the glue. These are probably fine for indoors but cannot be used outdoors. I was surprised that the product description did not explicitly state this as many people mount rings outdoors.

Forget the rest of the rubish on eBay. These gymnastics rings will last a lifetime. The rings are smooth yet solid. The webbing and cam buckle are the best quality I have seen on any piece of fitness equipment.

This was purchased for our grandchildren. As of today, they have not used it. It is for them to use when they visit Grandma and Grandpa.

Amazing pull up bar. Anchors grab into the wall very well so there is no give in the rack. Bar has nice grip. Make sure you tighten the screws that hold it in place if your going to be doing any kipping, otherwise the bar will rotate on you a bit!.

I purchased this combo for my home garage. Mounted the pull-up bar on the wall and rings from the rafters (I used longer lag bolts than what was supplied). Bar is great for both kipping and strict pull ups.

These gym rings fit on our playground perfectly. The have been outside for a few months now and still look brand new. The plastic is bright, the rubber covering the chain is thick. There has not been any fading in the sun.

Very attractive, and extremely sturdy feeling. I bought these with the trapeze bar and between the two, they had all of the hardware to attach them together. All I needed was the quick link to hang the chain from my swing set.

Purchased these after using some in my trainers gym. These are very well made and for the price they are even better. The numbering on the straps makes it super easy to get the adjustments right between exercises in a circuit format and also help give an idea of difficulty of workout.

been using it for a month now, and no major issues. rings are good quality and made of sturdy wood. the wide straps and the sturdy buckle design can easily support my weight (85kg) without it slipping.

Adjusting the length is so easy – just lift the clip and adjust, no need for multiple loops around old-style buckles. The only time the strap started slipping was when I inserted the strap the wrong way in the buckle.

The “5bullion” logo on the strap should be facing outside, otherwise it WILL slip when weight is applied. Guess its something to do with the contours of the strap material and the way the buckle clip grips it.

Top quality rings and straps, this is my second pair. One hanging from the ceiling and the other from my pull-up bar. The buckle is strong and won’t slip. I like these smaller ones for kids to use, too.

I use to be a gymnast and these rings feel similar to the set I used in meets. The straps are very thick and made of heavy duty nylon material. The adjusters are steel also heavy duty. Without the rings, the straps remind me of something you would use to strap down boats or other vehicles.

Overall, very easy to use and you can hang them up in a few minutes.

It is very good. The best purchased I have made so far. I use it allmost every day in my workouts. The strips could be longer. In some situations (rare) it would be an advantage. Besides that nothing to add.

These are incredible! I wasn’t sure at first, but I went for it anyway. I was concerned that the low price would have an impact on the quality, but it did not. They are even more stunning in person. Seriously! I took them out of the box and was blown away by how nice they looked.

These are a solid set of rings and the markings on the straps are a simple but brilliant addition to easily switch between different users. AF also impressed me with their customer service. I had ordered a lesser product as a gift, and quickly received an email that they were no longer available but would be upgraded to this nicer set of wooden rings for no additional cost.

GREAT RINGS FOR THE PRICE! I have tested them two times now, they support my weight of 103kg, I have even tested to do some exercises that only use one ring it also supported me without any problem. I really recommend getting these instead of paying double the price at your local fitness-store.

The only drawback i could think of is that they are shipped with red straps even tho there are black straps in the pictures. I don’t really mind but i feel like it’s worth saying.

The rings and straps are all solid and good quality. Ignore reviews claiming that the clamps slip – they are strong and are self tightening when threaded correctly – they don’t rely on the small spring.

I wish I’d discovered these sooner – they solve the problem of finding comfortable pull-up and dip bars on–the-go and open up so many more more exercises and are cheap and easy to transport. Recommended.

Die Ringe selbst sind aus unbehandeltem Holz, fühlen sich gut und griffig an und wirken stabil – im ersten Moment kamen sie mir etwas klein vor, ist aber absolut Standard so und vom Durchmesser des Griffholzes sogar eher etwas dicker als die meisten Vergleichsmodelle- also erstmal gut! Dadurch, dass sie unbehandelt sind, können sie leider nicht im Freien hängen bleiben – man muss sie vor dem Traning aufhängen und danach wieder abnehmen – und hier beginnt leider das Problem.

Das an sich stabile Band durch diese Schnalle zu fädeln ist eine echte Geduldsprobe – beim ersten mal verwirrend, da man das Band “von hinten” durch die Schnall führt. Aber zusätzlich haben die Bänder keine angebrachten Längenangaben, so dass man immer rumprobieren muss, bis man beide Ringe auf der gleichen Höhe hat.

Das großte Problem ist aber, dass die Schnallen das Band nicht festhalten sondern man zusätzliche noch einen Knoten ins Band machen muss, damit die Ringe sicher halten (das steht sogar in der Gebrauchsanweisung!).

Diesen Knoten muss man natürlich jedesmal wieder auf machen, wenn man zwischen den Übungen die Hähe der Ringe verstellen will. Leider ist das ziemlich nervig und kostet eine Menge Zeit. Beim Schlingenrainer ist das bspw.

wesentlch besser gelöst. Also: Das Trainng mit den Ringen gefällt mir wirklich sehr, push, pull, verschiedene “hangs”, dips usw, alles toll. Aber vom Handling der Aufhängung/Schnalle her kommen wir hier wirklich aus der Steinzeit, sorry.

Ich muss mir da jetzt wohl selbst eine andere Lösung ausdenken –.

I really enjoy this set of gymnastic rings. Wooden rings work very well and they are esthetic. The best feature of the straps are marks of length which dramatically simplify the process of adjusting, really useful.
