20 Best Wood Hammock Stand (2022 Updated)

I just bought this very nice hamac thinking it will look good in my garden and it does look good but unfortunately this is all about. the canopy is not waterproof so all the water is coming in. The security rope on each side broke when I tried to seat down and I am only 70 kg.

The rooftop is not equal one is lower than the other. So, overall safety issue very poor and no water proof is not good too. I tried to send some pictures many times to the company but they could not get them.

Finally after many emails, they gave me back my money but I found it very hard to believe that I have been so unlucky but they are telling me I am the only one. I really hope that other are happy with this product because I am not.

Looked nice in the picture and main frame is fairly well made. The canopy frame however is a bit flimsy and the fixings came out during assembly. Only held together now by the canvas shade Also a shame that the canopy it’s not easily removable.

The canvas hammock had a couple of pulled threads and poorly woven. Not sure it’s worth the 169? pounds.

It’s a great stand, and now after having it for 3 or 4 years, I can tell that it withstands the time well. I keep it outdoors only, in NM (so really dry and high UV), and I only needed to do some maintenance once to keep the wood not to go too dry.

My only complaint is the predrilled holes for the bolts/screws were not fully aligned so I needed to drill I think two by myself to make it work. Otherwise, a good stand.

Love this hammock stand! It is so beautiful and was easy to put together. The company worked with me to get the delivery held because I was going to be out of town. FedEx had not wanted to hold the delivery for me because it was coming from one of their smaller substations, but Hattaras customer service called FedEx and the delivery was held.

Great customer service! The stand is very large length-wise, so be sure you have enough space. I chose the biggest one because I have lots of grandkids who love to swing with their Pops. Wanted to be sure everyone could fit.

We take the hammock off when we’re not using it and the stand is a work of art on it’s own. While it is expensive, I would definitely purchase it again!.

Bought Deluxe Roman Arc Cypress Hammock Stand in November 2018 * stand had a crack that was reported when we got it with pictures * Company told us the would keep on file in case. * had a guest sit on it January of 2021 & the entire hook pulled out and the wood split into pieces VERY Embarrassing & We are lucky our guests back was not hurt that bad * Called the company and sent new pictures followed by a call & was told “out of warranty !” * Very disappointing only used it a handful of times.

The pieces aren’t numbered, but they are pre-drilled. It took longer than it should to assemble because it has to be assembled exactly the same way it was drilled, or the holes don’t line up. I had to put it together and take it all apart again at least three times before I got all the bolt holes to line up.

It is also not as heavy/chunky as the one I replaced. I think my previous one was 4″ square, and this uses 3″. My criteria as to what I think of it, is the question “Would I buy this item again?” and the answer would be no.

I’ll find a heftier item nest time.

Stunning, well made and easy to build. Great instructions with all the necessary tools in the box. Well worth the money spent. Much more attractive than the traditional metal stands.

The material is not as advertised. Russian hardwood is actually pine. Weight limit is only 300lbs. A hammock any larger than 9 feet, end to end, will result in sagging and you siting on the base of the stand itself.

Assembly needs two people and tightening should definitely be left until the end. I fear the product will not last more than a summer. Should have considered a sturdier metal stand. Not pleased with the quality.

Aber nach Beachten dieser beiden Tips funktioniert es einwandfrei und ich freue mich, endlich auch eine Hängmatte zu haben, obwohl es nur einen Baum gibt :).

We love our new hammock! It arrived very quickly last week and my 10-year-old and I put it together in about 45 minutes on a day when my husband was out of town to surprise him. Everything fit together perfectly and it feels sturdy.

We spent several hours in it over the weekend. Happy we bought the pillow and the Presidential rope hammock, as well. I throw a sheepskin on it for a bit of extra padding, although I wouldn’t say it’s essential.

Received in 2 days. Cardboard shipping boxes were a little damaged. One of the two short base sections has a slight defect (the lamination process didn’t seem to work perfectly). No instructions for assembly were provided.

I searched for and found a 62 second youtube video that proved to be enough information along with some common sense. I assembled this alone in less than 40 minutes. A socket wrench certainly speeds up the assembly time.

A mallet helped get the long bolts into place. Overall, the stand looks great and my expectations were satisfied. I would definitely recommend this product.

A beautiful hammock for people who don’t have trees in their backyards but still want to enjoy the comfort. It looks beautiful and my kids can’t get enough of it. Would definitely recommend buying it!

This is the Algoma Caribbean Hammock that is sold on several websites. Combined with the 5% Target card discount it was the cheapest I could find. Plus in case I did not like it I could always return to a Target store without incurring exorbitant shipping costs.

Overall it was relatively easy directions and setup. Goes a lot faster to have two people involved. Very handsome and sturdy piece – so far very pleased with the purchase and relaxing on it all the time.

I am giving four stars since too early to tell about Florida weather durability and one of the wood pieces had misaligned holes. To Algoma’s credit, it was easy to get in touch and a new part was received just a week later.

I’ll put a coat of spar urethane on the wood annually or sooner if needed.

It’s a hammock. Half the price of the Costco one. Easy to assemble and seems fairly sturdy. Both the wife n I sleep in it and it supports up properly.

Hammock arc stand is very sturdy and good looking. Hammock fabric is comfortable. All in all the product appears to be a very good value. I would buy the product again and recommend it to others. I would note that the shipping carton was very badly damaged on arrival; but there was no significant problems with the product despite the frayed packaging.

I cannot yet assess the durablity/weather resistance of the hammock fabric.

The screw holes were in the incorrect spots which made it impossible to install it and Target’s Customer Service told me to repack and carry it (85 lbs) to the UPS / a Target store if I wanted to return it, no apologies for making me spend a tremendous amount of time in unpacking & trying to install it.

I regret so much for expecting a piece of decent furniture and customer service from Target.

I’m using this hammock stand for my indoor non-spreader bar hammock. I know the product description advises against using this with a hammock without a spreader bar but it works well for my 10ft hammock.

The only thing I will say is- 15 feet is very long!! I highly advise for you to measure out 15 feet before placing your order (common sense, but I didn’t). Its much larger then I expected, especially as I’m using it indoors.

Looks good and is easy to assemble. The frame looks strong and of good quality wood and the fabric is strong and looks to be of durable material. Very happy with the quality and looks of my lovely hammock.

Not as on picture. Would is not painted as seen on photo. Hammock is not good quality. Easy to assembly, however no manual how to do it.

Gorgeous! Hubby couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the color of the wood was. Easy to assemble with my teen boys, took them about 20 minutes. Teen boy approved and parents approved. Boys wouldn’t get out to let us try it, they said it was too comfy.

It wraps around you like a cacoon, but my boys loved that. This is really a gorgeous hammock and makes our backyard look fancy.

Easy to assemble. Unfortunately one of the legs came with a chip. The wood is very soft and can easily be damaged. I’ll need to match the stain to cover the flaw. I will also be putting a clear coat over it, as is not weatherized.

Wonderful addition to our deck, the whole family uses it! Great quality, wood color, and love the color of the hammock material.

The hammock is very uncomfortable and we have not been using it at all. The wood frame is very nice but not being used.

When I received box some wood parts had cracks and when I email Sunny Daze no one replied on how to remedy this. Now after using it for 2 months I dont use often and I weight about 125 and I have found that the bolts lossen often and I have to tighten them often, I’m afraid I may fall off when it falls apart, it doesnt seem sturdy.

Have had this stand for several weeks now with regular use. Bought it for primarily indoor use at home and to take to relatives/friends for extended stays. That said I have been sleeping lounging in it regularly.

Solid build quality. Easy to assemble; only 6 bolts to tighten. Stable. Adequate length when fully extended. I’m 6’2″. The only thing that initially gave me pause are the plastic hooks, but they have held strong.

I’m 203lbs. In conclusion I’ll stand by this but I’d rather just hang with it.

Not pleased with the heavy industrial appearance this hammock stand. The placement of it is in my backyard with a background of bamboo. The contrast between the green organic and the heavy cold grey inorganic metal is too jarring for these artist eyes.

I was so sure it was what I wanted and needed that I paid the asking price without question. Boo boo.

I’m very pleased with my purchase. What was said in the blog was so true. I fall asleep quicker and get up in the morning feeling great— not stiff and aching. The stand was easy to set up. It’s hard not to go back for a nap! It’s all I hoped for after researching hammocks for about a year.

We will need a Big and Tall exactly like this Hammock. Our son has Autism and the weight and length needs to exceed his current weight. We purchased this hammock and stand for my husband, it was Easy to put together, Excellent quality and wood is truly of good quality.

The Hammock is as Exactly as stated.

This is an ok cabinet for the price. It is quite flimsy, the paint is a little patchy in places and the door knob is nasty cheap plastic, but for under 50 it provides useful bathroom storage and makes good use of the space beside the bath!! I doubt it will last terribly long but I dont regret my purchase.

This stand is actually bronze in color – the only part that is black are the plastic caps. Simply assembly, no tools required. Easy to break down and set back up – which is a huge benefit for me living in a state where we have a snowy winter.

It comes with attached S-hooks and a separate S-hook chain so you can adjust the length/height of your hammock. I bought the Linen Striped Pillow Top Hammock – Black/White – Threshold™ and hooked it directly to the S-hooks, so the chain was not needed.

This says it fits 12-13ft hammocks and this Threshold hammock measured 10. 5ft laying flat, but when hung it was able to stretch and hangs perfectly without touching the ground, and without needing the included chain.

Not sure how sturdy it will be in strong winds on our rooftop deck – if its an issue I’ll put some weight/sandbags at the base to secure it if needed.

My hammock stand arrived in good condition, but I could tell that the box had been opened before. There was a small scratch on one of the bars. Nonetheless, I put it together and you can’t tell. Easy assembly.

Easy to adjust the height. Fits perfectly on my small patio. A tad less sturdy than I would like, but doable.

It’s a glorious hammock stand—large, regal, eye-catching. But it was poorly packaged and arrived with a crumped, open box and missing parts and instructions. I don’t think it was the fault of FedEx—the maker had not properly taped it up or supplied the appropriate padding within the box.

One end was also chipped slightly which we will learn to love. Overall, it’s a beauty. We bought the missing parts at the hardware store and assembled sans directions so it’s all good.

I bought this after seeing smaller frames that costed more. I was very pleased with the shipping. It arrived very quickly and was good quality. My son and I were able to put it together in about 30 minutes.

I had to assemble this by myself & with the included tools it took about two hours. I came up short on a washer & a nut so I wasn’t able to use the last eyebolt. It is, however, a beautiful piece of furniture and being made of Larch, which is mentioned in the Old Testament, it is almost as good as being tied up to a couple of Redwoods.

Very solid! The hardware was just thrown in and all came out of the plastic bag and scratched up the finish, so they should a least tape it to the side.

TranslateShow in original languageAls ich den 35 kg schweren Hängemattenständer montierte, bemerkte ich schon, dass ein Bauteil sehr mangelhaft produziert wurde. Auf der ganzen Länge des eine Arms lösten sich grosse Holzsplitter von einer Kante.

Am zweiten Tag verletzte sich meine Tochter durch einen solchen Splitter, worauf ich Galaxus um den Ersatz des mangelhaften Bauteils anfragte. Der Hersteller weigerte sich jedoch das Ersatzteil zu liefern und bestand auf eine Rücksendung des kompletten Gestells.

Die komplette Demontage, Verpackung und Rücksendung als Sperrgut war mir aber zu umständlich (worauf der Hersteller wohl spekuliert hatte), somit musste ich mich mit einer Preisminderung seitens Galaxus zufrieden geben.

Grosszügig von Galaxus, schwach vom Hersteller La Siesta.
