20 Best Wooden Advent Calendar (2022 Updated)

I bought this Christmas Tree for my two granddaughters to play with. One is 4 and one is 1 1/2 years old. They love it! The magnets are not too strong or too weak so they have no trouble taking the ornaments off or putting them on.

The storage box at the bottom is brilliant and each oranamet is decorated so beautifully that it’s impossible to pick a favorite. It was a great purchase and terrific value.

This is a great addition to Christmas fun. My kiddos enjoyed this tree and placing the ornaments. They are more interested in playing with it, though, so it didn’t stay neat or organized and they’ve “misplaced” one of the ornaments.

Who know if it will ever be found. :/.

This is a really cute way to mark the days of Christmas. I like the quality of the tree and ornaments. I was looking for something my kiddo would look forward to using every year and I think this is it.

It’s sturdy enough to survive an energetic 5 y/o.

It’s so hard to guess if something like this will actually live up to what it looks like once you receive it. I was ecstatic after unboxing it with my 3 and 5 year old, finding the details even more enchanting in person.

The boxes are a smidge on the small side. I put two mini ornaments in each and had originally planned to put a slip of paper in as well but I don’t think it would fit. It seems sturdy and it looks great as a sort of center piece on top of my entertainment unit.

I bring it down each morning for my kids to open the day’s box and then put it right back. I’m actually considering adding items on to it to spruce it up even more but it’s perfect on it’s own really.

My kids love it so much and I’m excited for it to become part of our holiday tradition. Don’t hesitate to buy this, I almost did because of the price and I’m so glad I took the chance.

I bought this advent calendar in the hope that I could put some small treat in each drawer for my kids each day. However, the drawers are so small that you can’t even fit a miniature chocolate bar. It’s about 1.

5″ x 1″x1″. One of the pictures shows a candy cane in the drawer and there is no way that a candy cane would fit with the drawer closed. Also, the 9th drawer is missing a number. It is reasonably well made.

Today’s 12/2 so we started using this yesterday. It’s realllly cute but the drawers — all the drawers including 12/24 — are the same size and fit 2 Hershey Kisses but not, for example, 2 Peppermint Patties.

And we thought we could put 2 Pokemon card packs in 12/24 but – despite the size of the door – the drawer is the same itsy-bitsy. We love it: it’s adorableeee!! Just would have been helpful to understand that all the drawers are the same size and that size is wee.

Product is broken in areas in between doors, 2 doors have the numbers painted on & they look like someone hand painted them & did a bad job. Also, one ornament doesn’t have a hook & the door knobs fall off the doors easily.

Couldn’t return product because we needed the calendar right away for our son to use in the beginning of December.

Very cute calendar, but a bit on the small size drawers and icons for the tree…….fine for my 2 grandchildren just starting school. Very happy with the price

Bought this advent calendar for an older grandchild (14) and he loves it. I love that it will remain a Christmas decoration piece for years.

The item itself is of ok quality. The thing I did not like about it is that the colors are way off from the picture. They are very dull and not as vibrant as the picture. Also, there was a lot of hot glue just hanging everywhere and stuck to some of the objects.

I would not pay this price for this ever again and I would recommend to look else where for this price.

Fun and whimsical, but smaller then expected. Have not opened the doors yet to find the surprises. Decided to wait until we start using it. Looks very cute.

While the product is made in china (we thought it might be from germany, but alas), my German wife was simply delighted with the structure, the style, and the lighted spaces of the advent calendar. she thought it was just charming and we put it in the front window of our living room during the holidays.

she also loved the price. if my wife is happy, i’m delighted! (and if something does happen to it, it’s very affordable to replace it).

We like the advent 3d box, the only complaint is that the boxes could have been made longer )there is space), and maybe a better design for the boxes to slide out better. We found them quite floppy and a tad too small.

Otherwise we are quite happy, it is pretty when it lights up, our son enjoys looking inside the boxes and it is attractive on the table. It is very light, it has not tipped over, but maybe a bit more weight in the base would make it feel more substantial and be a little safer around candles, meaning not tipping over.

I received this not knowing what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, detail and imagination put into it! The lighting just adds to the appeal! I can hardly wait until December 2020 to put it out! Now, if the company who made this could offer a accessory of 24 Christmas (be they religious or not) items to put in the drawers, that would make it complete! This is of heirloom quality!.

This is adorable! It is intricately made and looks very “old German” very, very cute and I like how it lights up, beautiful! Like other reviews, the drawers are very small, would have been nice to have been a little bigger.

Like someone else suggested I put a kiss in the drawers, but they also fit a quarter! Next year I think I will look for some cute penny candy for variety (and a quarter!). All and all, very cute and “magical” piece.

Would like for it to become an heirloom 😊.

I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my sister. This advent calendar resembles very closely the advent calendar in my sister’s favorite Christmas movie. I was a little anxious that It May not actually be as nice as it looks in the picture.

My sister LOVES it and said she was crying. Thank you for helping me make my sister’s Christmas so special. She gives of herself so much to help our mom and it felt good to do something special in return for my sister.

The calendar was delivered early enough that she can still fill it with treats and use it before Christmas. Best Choice Products, you truly were my ‘best choice’ for my sister’s gift. Oh, believe you me I WILL be ordering again! Wish I could figure out how to share the picture my sister text me.

This came just as cute as I expected. I was aware of the size so I knew it would be small and I am so impressed with how well it is put together. I cannot wait to use it next year as I didn’t order it in time for this year.

My grandkids will love it! They will have to be gentle, but I didn’t buy it for a toy. Opening the drawers is exciting and will be excellent as they find a chocolate or something in each drawer.

Having read past reviews, I knew to expect this to be to very small so that was no problem. I haven’t unwrapped the plastic that encloses it but will spend the next several months looking for tiny treasures to put into the little bitty drawers.

I think I’m going to love giving it to my young granddaughter.

I bought one of these in October and when it arrived, I was so excited to see how awesomely made it was! It’s magnificent! Then and there I looked online to buy two more. Sadly, it was out of stock, but said it would be “Coming Soon.

” Now it says it’s discontinued. Sad, because it is really a treasure that will bring joy and happiness for all the Christmas’s to come!! It’s that awesome. However, there may be a chance that it will still be coming in “early” December, so some days will have to be caught up on (darn, but not), but that doesn’t matter because it is that awesome a product! If it does return, buy quickly before they are sold out because they will be.

Very happy with it. Drawers are a little tough to open and close but lights and everything else are in perfect condition.

Gave this to my sister who loves Advent calendars.. it is gorgeous and well worth the price.

Love the look of it, easy to assemble. the little drawers are very small though. I wanted to be able to put 2 candies in there for my children and couldn’t find any that could fit. The 24th fits 2 ghiridelli squares, the smaller ones only fits 2 hersey kisses.

Will keep using it but wish I knew that in advance.

I just received my order today and I must say I am disappointed in this moose Advent Calendar. the drawers are TINY. and what looks like it would be a really large drawer on the 24th, isn’t. The drawer on the 24th pulls out to reveal a thin slot, not a square box shape like the others.

Might be sending this back.

This item is sturdy and durable! Beyond that, it is very beautiful! The pictures on each drawer are gorgeous. The drawers are a good size. The bells on each drawer are an added pleasure. Definitely worth purchasing!.

I bought this with anticipation of this being the perfect gift for my grandchildren. All of the little doors keep opening up. It’s not possible to put little surprises in the boxes because they don’t stay closed.

This Vintage Santa Advent Calendar Box is soooo cute! Good size and well made! The pictures on each little door give me memories of an “old time” Christmas. Can’t wait to display it for the holidays with a little treat behind each door.

Great calender to decorate but the draws are really.small and have struggled to find wrapped chocolates to fit in them

I always wanted an advent calendar but must have been too fussy, so I never purchased one. I wanted something meaningful and sturdy enough to bring out every year. The Precious Moments nativity advent calendar set exceeded my expectations.

Yes, it is petite but the characters are detailed enough. The daily poems are special. Well pleased. Can’t wait to begin the Christmas countdown.

So disappointed. I’ve collected Precious Moments figures my entire life. I’ve come to depend on their quality standards and purchased this item based on their reputation. BIG MISTAKE. This product looks like a precious moments knock off.

I can’t believe QVC even agreed to sell it. The pieces are tiny, the characters eyes are weirdly painted. the characters are unrecognizable. DO NOT BUY!.

This Advent Calendar was so much more than I anticipated. It is a holiday decoration that would enhance every type of home, because it is tasteful, beautifully decorated, and each and every drawer works perfectly.

I have neighbors with three children under six, and I wanted to do something very special for their holiday. Since the drawers are, of course, small, I decided not to keep it simple and just put tiny items, such as candy kisses in the drawers.

It took time and creativity, but I had a wonderful time writing poems for each drawer about the gift that went with each drawer. The “gifts” were numbered and placed in my L. L. Bean Totes, which the family will return.

🙂 For example, one drawer poem was an invitation to make Christmas cookies at my house, and the “gift” was some sprinkles we would be putting on the cookies. Another poem was about snowmen that wouldn’t melt, and the “gift” was marshmallows and pretzels, etc.

and the directions for a simple snowman making craft, and an example of one I made. And so it went. It is a huge hit with the kids, and they look forward to each drawer.

I purchased this Advent Calendar this year instead of buying the one from Trader Joes or World Market. First of all I was very taken with the idea it’s made in some type of wood and my 10 year old grandson can enjoy it every year.

He looks forward to opening the little drawers every morning and I think it adds to his enjoyment of Christmas. I put in money in about a third of the drawers, plus some Irish ‘Quality Street’ and other favorite candy.

There is plenty of room for both if you fold the notes up into a small square. I love this Woodland Advent Calendar very much – it’s well made and extremely attractive. I hope to have it for many years!.

I am loving this piece so much. I grew up with advent calendars, the disposable kind, and this year I wanted to invest in a durable version we can use year after year. The removable drawers add a layer of fun, because this calendar arrives with in boring ascending order – but part of the fun of course lies in first finding the right drawer each morning.

Quality is robust and the design is gorgeous. I am thrilled to begin a new tradition this advent.
