20 Best Wooden Jewelry Box (2022 Updated)

This was supposed to be a Christmas gift – but I will be returning. Jewelry box is very poor quality for the price point. Cheap looking hardware. Color is reddish or cherry colored – not walnut. To make matters worse, the personalized name plate is not centered on the top, and then we realized that it was so loose we could pull it off! The hardware on the jewelry box is brass, but they used a silver colored personalized name plate.

This is not the quality that I expect from Things Remembered. (I actually ordered 2 of these and they both had the same quality issues).

My Girlfriend LOVED this. It definitely will keep her liking me for at least 6 more months lol

Was proud to give this jewelry box to my granddaughter! Her excitement warmed my heart! It was fun to watch her look through the different compartments. Fantastic gift!

This is HUGE. Bigger than I expected. Holds a lot and is sturdy.

I love this jewelry box, it is a statement piece in the room-very high quality construction and the color is gorgeous. Feels very much like something that could have once belonged to an empress. It is quite big, so be aware of that, but there is a lot of space in it for storage.

The few negatives, for those doubting: in the ring area in the center (my favorite part), the top row is useless. It doesn’t go in deep enough so putting rings in there feels like they will fall out, nonetheless the remaining rows can each fit four rings.

Also, you can’t adjust the partitions inside the jewelry box, they come exactly as they do in the images and that’s it. I can live with these and would highly recommend the product.

It’s a beautiful jewelry box that gives you plenty of room for all of your storage needs. I have wanted this box for so many years. It is perfect for my needs and has lots of room for all of my various pieces.

I loved the idea of this fishing game, but the fishing pole itself breaks every time we use it (which I then have to rethread and try to fix). Both fishing poles came undone after 3 uses- meaning the string that is the ‘fishing line’ somes untied and out of the reel.

They were handled fairly gently, ie no pulling on the magnet or string or reel portion. Also, the bag that comes with this product was basically Velcro getting stuck to everything and pieces falling out I resewed the bag to have a drawstring at the top and cut off the velcro.

We LOVE Melissa and Doug products and have at least 50 items in our house that we use. We promote pretend play and avoid electronic toys. I’m so disappointed in this product. Hopefully they can find a better design or reconfigure their production of this toy.

Very poorly designed, especially for a Melissa and Doug product. Don’t waste your money.

My two year old daughter absolutely loves this set! I gave it to her for Easter and every time she goes into her little house/kitchen, she always grabs these and dumps them out of the crates/boxes and will pretend to cook with them by putting them in a pan, or have me take a bite out of them.

They’re definitely mostly large enough that I would say there’s no choking concern, but the hotdog is quite narrow, although it’s so long it hasn’t been an issue for my daughter. She has a set of plastic food that she’s bit into when she was younger, and they’re still indented with no real way to get them back to the right size, which isn’t a problem with these since they’re solid wood.

Definitely I would recommend this set if you want to get your kid a good amount of quality food for not that much money.

As a woodworker, I’d say that they Don’t come any better in quality and craftsmanship.

I love everything about this jewelry box. Walnut is my wood finish of choice. It is a nice brown – not red or yellow. It sits on my large bathroom counter on white marble and the cabinetry is medium maple and it blends beautifully.

The brushed hardware is lovely and looks very high-end. The lines are clean and simple and therein lies its elegance. All of my jewelry fits in perfectly. The organization provides room for rings, earrings, bracelets including bangles, a deep drawer on the bottom holds watches, and FINALLY a jewelry box will hold chains of any length without tangling them in a basket or bucket type arrangement.

I have had many jewelry boxes, some from QVC, with removable dividers (which never stay in place) or tarnish free linings (which work briefly). This one is a keeper. You get what you pay for. You will love this purchase! Your jewelry and you deserve it!!.

I downsized from a jewelry armoire to this jewelry chest due to move. I needed to donate some items to make it work for me. I like the simple design and the necklace compartment in back is a lot of fun.

Be careful of putting too many items in drawers or they will get stuck. Overall, a nice piece in my new studio digs.

Walnut is a thin veneer, rest is plywood, which should not be surprising given the price. The drawers slide smoothly and the variety of sizes of drawer compartments will help organize her jewelry. The lid hinge is loose but has a clever metal ring that holds the lid slighly beyond vertical which makes the mirror functional only if box is roughly at chest height.

I bought this jewelry box for a Christmas present for my daughter who will be turning 16 a week after Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised when I looked at it to make sure everything was ok with it.

I have no doubt that she will like it equally. I am jealous honestly and would love one for myself now. It has timeless elegance and will look appropriate on her dresser for years to come.

I love this item!!! It looks wonderful on my bedroom dresser and doesn’t take up too much space. This box is great for storing all of my jewelry. There is ample space for necklaces, watches, bracelets and rings.

However, be wary of the advertised description of the third drawer which states that it is divided into eight equal sections. the third drawer is actually separated into 4 vertical rows (great for watches / bracelets).

The lock is an attractive design element, but truly not very good quality. You often have to jiggle the key in the lock a few times to get it to engage properly. Otherwise, a fabulous item for the price.

I needed a high quality jewelry box that could hold a lot of jewelry without taking up too much space on my boudoir. This fit the bill. The pearl knobs give this box an extra classy feel.

My younger grand-niece is starting to receive jewelry and the question will be where she should put it. I had seen a jewelry box which was very, very similar to the one I had bought for my older grand-niece.

Unfortunately, I was unable to order it at the time and now it is gone. However, this one is absolutely beautiful and really fits the bill! It has plenty of room for all the jewelry that she will receive over the years.

I am going to put it away and it will be a birthday gift for her in the not too distant future. I had to buy it now and put it away because I know it won’t be available when I will want to purchase it.

I bought this as a holiday gift for a 13-year-old granddaughter who had received a lot of jewelry for her Bat Mitzvah. While the chest is well made and has all the features noted in the ad, it is much smaller than I’d imagined and therefore will not hold very much.

I would have liked a photo showing relative sizes, or indicating how many items would fit in.

Luxury at its finest for our finest! Love the design construction and marvelous quality providing excellent protection for each item. Had one…came back for more.

This jewelry box was a gift to our daughter and she loves it. It has all the right spaces for all kinds of pieces. The hooks and the space for long necklaces is a great feature. It came totally free of imperfections, especially with the beautiful inlaid design on the top.

The box is nice and as described. The problem is that the plate inside the cover for engraving is not set properly; instead it is crooked. It was very noticeably crooked. They had to get another box.

That one is still off somewhat but not as bad as the first one. Too bad because the box is nice, but it really isn’t the best to give something as a gift when it isn’t right. I am disappointed the clerk tried to pass off the first box at all.

The second I still purchased although not as it should be but I figured the quality probably wasn’t going to get much better after two tries already.

I purchased this jewelry box with the intention of modifying it into a presentation case. When it arrived I found it to be beautiful and well constructed, but it was not the same dimension as listed in the online ad.

The ad states the medium box as 12. 2” W x 9. 3” H x 6. 5” D, but it is actually 10” W x 8” H x 4. 5” D. I contacted customer service and they confirmed that the correct box was shipped and the ad is wrong.

There is no box the size advertised, they offered no compensation, and stated they would correct the listed dimensions. I had the option of returning the box leaving me without anything a few days before Christmas so I kept it and changed my gift leaving me in a bad situation.

I checked before writing this review and they still haven’t corrected the description of this item to the correct dimensions. I’m very unhappy that Things Remembered continues in this deceptive practice and wonder how many other items they are selling by deception.

Very disappointed in the engraving. The jewelry box is beautiful but unfortunately the engraving ruins the entire thing. Poor quality. Crooked. Very disappointed after paying more for the engraving than the box.

Will not use Things Remembered again.

This arrived as promised in 3 days with no charge. I gave it as a Christmas gift to my son’s long-time girlfried and she loved it! The quality of the wood and interior lining is exeptional. The curved wood opening on the sides are very unique.

The mirror opening on top was a nice added touch. Greater than expected!.

I bought this for my daughter and she loves it. It is well made and very nice.

I have been very pleased with the appearance and quality of this jewelry box. My old jewelry box was worn out and didn’t match the color of our new bedroom suit. I was a bit worried that a new jewelry box would look cheaply made or arrive with scratches or other imperfections on it.

That was not the case, though. It arrived in perfect condition and it appears to be of very good quality. The drawers open smoothly and are nicely lined inside. The two side portions swing open easily when the top is lifted, and I can tell that the magnets that keep them sealed shut will maintain their strength for many years to come.

There is more than ample space for my jewelry in this box, although I probably don’t own nearly as much jewelry as the average woman. The only “negative” thing that I can say about this jewelry box is that the dust shows on it fairly quickly due to it’s darker color.

But I have that problem with my new bedroom suit as well, and I knew when I settled on this particular jewelry box that I wouldn’t be able to go as long between dusting by replacing my light-colored one with a dark-colored one.

Just the same, I am thrilled with my lovely new jewelry box!.

This is a very nice jewelry box. It’s a little smaller than I expected, but will fit my needs to hold me and my daughter’s jewelry, when at our second home. This is a good jewelry box for a teen or college student.

The only issue is that it rocks (one of the tabs on the foot of the box was missing), but my significant other was able to easily fix that.

I looked at many jewelry boxes before buying this one. I have many jewelry pieces and needed a large box. This is perfect! I have transferred everything from my older box to this one. Room to spare! The exterior is beautiful and very classy as it sits upon my antique bureau.

I am a “Ripkanista” and filled up my largest jewelry box, then filled up my Lori Grenier jewelry box with sterling silver pieces, and now need more room for Carolyn Pollack and Honora!!! I am familiar with the quality of Mele accessories and this box is a beautiful match to my Honey oak dresser set! It is a beautiful, warm, rich color and arrived carefully packed and in perfect condition.

It is more lightweight than my other jewelry boxes but is nicely lined and is a welcome addition. I quite like the variety of jewelry storage options this provides. The ring holder is smaller than I prefer and is rather shallow so I cannot store larger rings comfortably; however, overall it meets most of my needs and I am very satisfied.

I have given a lot of my jewelry away to my nieces. Just kept my favorites, so I found I do not need the big floor standing jewelry keeper. Downsized to this little beauty and could not be happier. It is perfect; exactly what I need.

I received this item within a week of ordering. It was packaged in 4 separate boxes and undamaged when it arrived. The color compliments my furnishings nicely. I wish it were slightly bigger so I could store all of my jewelry in just one box.

The jewelry box is beautiful and very spacious. However I was very disappointed when I opened it because the glass doors were shattered in lots of small pieces and it now has to be returned and I am debating whether to reorder or get a refund.

Beautifully made jewelry box is substantial in size, quite tall in fact. Well organized dividers offer plenty of storage for all types of jewelry. The glass top is a design plus, the lining is soft and the drawers are heavy – unlike some other boxes.
