Wahrscheinlich ist es erst stabil, wenn man alles fertig hat, aber das weiß ich noch nicht. Ich würde es nicht mehr kaufen, obwohl die Teile ganz schön sind ….

I was very disappointed in the toy. I should have been more careful to figure out the dimensions as they must have appeared in the catalog. The puzzle pieces were in a very unimpressive cheap box. The box did not have a picture on the cover as shown in the catalog.

Unusually for a Melissa and Doug product, the toy appeared to be cheap and shoddily put together. I did not end up giving it to my granddaughter because I disliked it that much.

It’s a cute puzzle. I didn’t look at the specs before I purchased it. I thought it was going to be a little larger. And thicker. The pieces are technically wood but super thin. So they will snap apart easily.

And it makes it harder for small hands to assemble. I think it is better for older kids. My twins are only 2. 5 and I hoped they were ready for a more advanced puzzle. I think I will just store these in the closet until they get a little older and less wild.

Beautiful puzzles. Very poor customer service. I received one of these puzzles as a gift. It was missing one piece. I followed the instructions that came with the puzzle for contacting them for a replacement piece.

They refuse to send the piece because I don’t have the order number. (Again, it was a gift). If you are lucky enough to receive all of the pieces, they are beautiful puzzles. But if you need any kind of customer service, good luck!.

Gorgeous colors! Mind challenging! Well made, but pieces don’t interlock securely. Love the display and spinner!

Freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal puzzlen des Motivs. Dann am liebsten in L. Etwas störend ist, dass man von der glatten Oberfläche des Löwen produktionsrestebedingt (Laser) schwarze Finger kriegt.

Angeblich soll drüber wischen helfen. Mach ich beim nächsten mal puzzlen. Beim Fuchs mit seiner rauen Oberfläche hab ich das Problem nicht gehabt. Warum die Oberflächenstrukturen auf den Motiven unterschiedlich sind weiß wohl nur Unidragon.

I LOVE Melissa & Doug products and my kids have many of their items. So it pains me to give such a low review, but I hate this puzzle, and my daughter and husband do too. Hard to explain, but there’s no niche for each piece to fit into- the puzzle pieces all just line up with each other, and it’s a tight fit.

Really tight. So my daughter will put down Nebraska, and then when trying to put in the states around it, everything moves around a lot, which frustrates her because she’s constantly putting the state back to its outline.

As you come to completion of the puzzle, the states are so closely fit together that I have to really push them down and get them perfectly into place for them to fit. We’ve tried this puzzle twice and I think we’re going to get a replacement, one that is a bit more user friendly.

Very happy with this wooden puzzle, though I knew I would be, as I have bought Melissa and Doug products before and was impressed with the quality (Barn with latches). The puzzle pieces have a little space between each one so you don’t have to force or adjust a piece.

On the back it has printed information about each state: size, population, flower, motto, bird and capital with a picture of each states bird and flower. I have not opened it yet, but looks to be of good quality and the pictures and colors on the front and back are clear, crisp and vibrant.

Job well done! I would definitely order more for gifts! Not for children under 3 years. 5+.

Fun to do, with shapes of states outlined on the puzzle board,. Makes it a match the shape with the puzzle piece activity. Plus, great way to learn the USA state and the north, south, east, west directions.

This was a surprisingly fun and at the same time a challenge which I really enjoy. With the different owls you really have to pay close attention to colors. I would definitely recommend it.

Arrived on time. Haven’t had a chance start it yet, but previous purchases have always been first class

I gifted this Melissa and Doug Puzzle Box Set to a three year old. She loves putting puzzles together. The wooden box that is included in the set will also keep her puzzle pieces together in one tidy place.

These toys are great for the kids. They need to us4 their imagination for it and get to do a lot with them. The quality is amazing. It does not break on the first try. It is not a one time use kind of toy.

This really will last as most of my Melissa and Doug toys do.

Very interesting and relaxing.

I bought this for my almost-three-year-old son. The product is clearly marked for age 3 and I think that’s accurate. My son likes it a lot but needs a bit of helping doing the puzzles, as they are more pieces than any other puzzles we have done so far.

He likes the pictures a lot! The ABC puzzle is perfect for us right now as we are practicing letters and loves the animals corresponding to the letter! He loves that the puzzle pieces are wooden and he enjoys separating the pieces a lot since they stay together really well.

Our puzzles all lay flat really well. It is very helpful that the puzzle pieces are marked on the back so you know which ones are for which picture. Overall good quality and good price, and good learning fun for my kiddo.

I think it would be slightly less distracting to have each puzzle separate from the others rather than having some puzzles on the same wooden frame. But, that’s not a big deal and I just help my son to focus and work on one puzzle at a time for now so it’s not overwhelming placing pieces.

Later it will be a good skill to work more on which pieces go to which puzzle and do multiple in the wooden frame at once, but we aren’t there yet.

The advertisement on the package is misleading. These aren’t “wooden puzzles” as in made of solid wood, they’re paperboard and MDF, which is listed in the fine print if you search for it. Aside from the known health risks of MDF, the materials are also problematic because the trays are slightly warped and don’t lay flat, similar to the other Chuckle and Roar toddler puzzles.

The low price appears to reflect the low quality control. After striking out twice, I don’t think I’ll try any more Chuckle and Roar products.

My 2. 5 year old LOVES these puzzles. He can do all of them completely by himself. They are wooden, so little hands are less-likely to break them. The colors are vibrant and the designs are simple enough for him to understand.

I personally LOVE that they have wooden trays to make it easier for him to use and carry around the house. We do these puzzles several times a day for the past few months, and they’ve held up to his toddler craziness.

I bought this for my 3 year old son. He loves construction vehicles and always wants to help put a puzzle together. He has been carrying this around with him since it arrived. He has probably taken it apart and put it back together 20 times a day.

A nice step up from the other basic puzzles. A nice challenge for my puzzle lover.

My husband bought this not knowing whether my two year old could work on it or not. After a couple of times of trying with me, my son was able to do iton his own. It keeps his attention when other toys could not.

I am definately buying more for him to work on, and will keep buying more difficult one’s as he gets older.

I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old son while i potty trained him. it really kept him busy and helped me a lot with the training. he can do the puzzle twenty times in a row without getting bored. i am going to buy it for my 3 year old students.

The election has made me aware that I don’t remember the map of the U. S. as well as I should, I got this wooden puzzle to help me re-learn U. S. geography. Why is a grown-up using childrens’ toys as a learning aid? It’s simple, its fast and the learning sticks much better than reading books.

I tried a coloring book of the states first and this just works better. One day I may be able to use it with grandchildren but by then, we might need a new map if D. C. and Puerto Rico achieve statehood.

We gave this puzzle to our granddaughter for her birthday, and she wanted to open it immediately! Since she loves mermaids and jigsaw puzzles, it proved to be the perfect gift. We love the quality of the product, too! Everything we have purchased in the past from Melissa & Doug has been excellent in all respects!.

My 2. 5 yr old absolutely loves puzzles and I think Melissa & Doug offer the best range in terms of quality and design. I bought this even though I have a boy. I figure he doesn’t know that it’s supposed to be for girls and why should only girls get the pleasure of such beautiful colors as well as experience the fantasy of mermaids.

Much to my delight, when I offered him the choice of the dinosaur or mermaid puzzle (I’ve bought nearly all M&D puzzles) he asked for the ‘Mermaid Fantasy’.

My three year old granddaughter cannot get enough of these puzzles, they are so entertaining, colorful and easy for her to handle. Strongly recommend them!

This puzzle box is really cute and my son loves doing the puzzles. The back of the puzzle pieces are also numbered so you can keep them organized in the separate compartments. The only problem with it is the puzzle pieces are very thin, they feel like popsicle sticks, so my son has already snapped a few pieces.

He snapped one by simply stepping on it.

The puzzle is wood, which is great for my 2 year old that is learning to do puzzles, loves them, but bends the cardboard-type ones. The only problem with this puzzle is the pictures on the pieces peel up.

I have glued several of the pictures back onto it’s piece now. This is a great puzzle set!.

The box is handy and the pieces are all labeled on the back with shapes so you can tell them apart piece by piece. Nice quality 🙂

Blank Wood Puzzle gives kids an opportunity to be creative and use problem solving skills. It can be created in a short time, but putting the puzzle together can be fun over and over. Also a great idea to create the puzzle as a card and send it to someone as a gift/game to put together.

I am currently using it with a tutoring student and will definitely buy and use this again.

It’s a great product for kids to get creative. I got this for my 10 year old and he loved painting it! The only thing we noticed was that getting the pieces apart was a bit tough since the wood wasn’t cut in some places.

I used a utility blade to get the pieces apart and that did the trick.

Love love love this item! My son has been wanting me to make him a puzzle but I have not yet attempted it. So when I saw this I was like this is perfect I can make a stencil, put it on the puzzle, color it in with the woodturning marker, then heat press n his puzzle is finished! It came out awesome!.

Beautiful and colorful! High quality puzzle encased in a wooden board, My 4 tear old granddaughter loves these puzzles and with a little help, enjoys working on them every time she comes to visit! It would be helpful to have a foldout picture of the puzzle for her to follow the first few times.

This was included in another puzzle (rocket ship) and it’s still useful.

My grandchildren just love the wooden jigsaw puzzles ( purchased 5) from Melissa and Doug. I purchased 48 and 24 piece puzzles. The grandkids are 4 years old. Will most likely purchase more since they have already made the ones they have.

My four-year-old grandson loved this! He loves butterflies, and he loves puzzles. He is a little young for this one, but he has already mastered all of the puzzles in his age group, so I thought we would try this one for his birthday.

Based on his reaction, I think we made a good call!.
