The Roller Derby is sturdy and well made. The inner box was damaged in shipping, but the Roller Derby was in perfect condition. It’s also well designed, colorful and functionally easy and fun for a one year old.

It’s also safe, the balls are small enough for little hands, but big enough to not pose a choking hazard. Both our grandsons, one and four, love it!.

Excellent toy for my 9mo old, he’s loving it. The little bell at the end gets him every time, he’s been playing with it for hours. I took away 1 point because of the quality of the paint on the wires, missing paint here and there.

I bought this for our son’s first birthday, and he loves it! The quality of the product is great, which we need because he’s not easy on toys. And he’s fascinated by watching the balls, he plays with it every day.

Brilliant gift to encourage team work and patience! We have spent hours as a family, 8 year old and 5 year old working together to get the best result. We already had the Quadrilla® Whirlpool and it has been great combining both and creating new and more exciting runs.

The Glow in the dark feature is a plus, giving the kids extra play value and the parents extra time off after they have finished putting it all together! It would be great to get more glow in the dark marbles with the pack and the option to purchase more on their own.

Hands down the best present we got for our boys birthday. We have spent hours as a family sitting around making the track in all diffrent ways. The track is very well made and the intructions are in a lovely coloured book that are easy to follow.

If your after something to get your kids thinking this is a product that will do it while have loads of fun.

I am very pleased with Ugears models and I have quite a lot. The quality of the plywood in this model isn’t upto the usual standards. When pressing out the pieces, small edges break off, which isn’t good for the assembly of the model and disappointing.

I think my husband now has an addiction. He loved this puzzle and is already picking out several more that he wants. It is a challenge but when you get to the end and make it operate it’s wonderful.

Well built. Easy to use once constructed. The only drawback is that the marble travels very quickly through the maze. Child doesn’t really have much time to observe what is happening.

Our granddaughter was very excited to receive this as an add-on to her existing marble run. Excellent quality.

We got this for my toddlers and have had hours of entertainment out of it. We love that you can build so many different designs and get different add ons for birthday or Christmas. The only thing that we’ve found a little tricky with toddlers is that it can easily be knocked and fall over but as long as you teach them to be careful and pop it on a hard surface it’s all good :).

This is our second Hape marble run purchase. The kids (2 & 5yo girls) love this toy so much, it’s the 1 toy that gets played with almost everyday. It’s a great learning toy with endless options to build & play – especially with a second set.

This was our son’s gift from Santa this year, and he loves it! The instructions are straight-forward and there are so many opportunities for creativity and ingenuity. I would get another Quadrilla set in a heartbeat!.

We love it! 3 year old and 6 year old love to play with it, but need some help getting it set up. Worth the effort because it occupies them longer than many of their other toys.

Easy to assemble, pleasant colours, good size. My little boy loves it. As soon as I showed it to him on my computer screen he’s been waiting. When we picked it from the post office Jason was thrilled to get it unpacked.

His face lit up when I opened the box. He clapped his hands and prompted me to put it together asap.

The pieces come apart too easily when constructing and playing wit the marble run. It was very frustrating to the kids. I wrapped masking tape to each piece to widen the diameter of the insert to help secure the connections.

Now the marble run can be built, revised and played with. The quality of pieces is fantastic.

Arrived on time, brand new in packaging. It brought a lot of joy to my 3. 5 year old, and also to grandparents. It requires an adult to help set up (or at least an older child with some engineering and spatial skills which I lack completely).

Once it’s up it’s a lot of fun and reminds me of the marble run I had an enjoyed as a child. Also, no batteries or Wifi connection required which is great in 2020. I have several Hape items and the quality is excellent and I am sure will be enjoyed for years to come and passed along to younger family.

The pictures on this website depict little bells on some pictures and xylophone keys on other pictures. Perhaps an older model had bells. It does not have bells. It only has xylophone keys. This music marble run sounds really nice when the marbles go over the xylophone keys.

These sets are at their best when you can combine them with other sets, giving you more imaginative options. They seem to be introducing more plastic pieces, where once wood was used. Overall a great toy that the whole family can enjoy regardless of age.

This is an addition to the Quadrilla set we gave our grandson last Christmas. These materials are beautifully constructed but require a steady hand to use successfully as they are very precise. One great thing is that the entire set can be deconstructed and just a few pieces can be used instead of all of them, which works well for our 3 1/2 year old.

This system has given both adults and child lots of enjoyment. It will be saved for yet another generation as well, a rare thing in today’s disposable world. It joins the Legoes we saved from our children’s childhood in the 70’s and 80’s.

Great quality toy. My 4 year old loves it. Only issue is that he needs help building it as the piece are particular to how they need to go together. But is a toy I believe he will continue to use as he grows.

Would not recommend playing without supervision because marbles are not recommended for 3yr olds. The entire playset is 99.00, yet just this one piece is worth buying.

This is a lovely addition to add to any Quadrilla marble run, it makes the most beautiful sound.

Like a lot of these laser-cut wood models, this one can be fiddly in places and needs some patience to construct, but it comes with a a clearly laid out instruction book. Everything needed to construct the puzzle is in the box.

Rather than leave wasted space on the ply sheets, several smaller bits are cut into the gaps in case there’s a mishap during construction. The manufacturer will also replace other individual bits on request.

Many wooden models similar to this one rely on rubber bands to work and these are prone to perish over time. Replacing a broken rubber band that’s essential to it working properly can be very frustrating, especially when these are deep inside the model.

Thankfully this model only relies on wooden gears and cams, a crank handle, a lot of ball bearings and gravity – no rubber bands. Unlike many wooden puzzle models that entertain the builder during construction, but are only for looking at while collecting dust later, this particular model with it’s clever elevators and spiralling ball races will fascinate for long afterwards.

assemble This was such fun to assemble. I multicolored totally the pieces with watercolour so it would not add a chummy covering but it would still be visually aesthetic. My 3 years nephews favored playing with it and it were able to puzzle out how it worked instantly, but it’s not the best for children to foregather themselves.

Generally as the wooden rods that hold most of the wood together calls for cutting them with a few force. I used wire cutter which was a beam, but fixture, child safe scissors wouldn’t work. Keep in mind around statement 39-40, they get switched up, its a little mixing up until you work out they are in the wrong order.

Other that instructions were easy, had pictures and clear labels. Also her in mind you are able to only turn the lever unidirectional for it to work, the other way makes the balls fall on the ground.

It would be coo if they included a bit draftsman here to keep the balls safe but thats all right, I could make that myself. Extremely recommend!.

I had one problemwith this product :Marble Parkour LG501 Big Funnel Marble Run Set. On the final lifter that is operated by the cams, there was too much sideway movement that allowed the lifter to move away from the camand as a result, the lifter jammedand the whole apparatus ceased to work.

Solution: I placed a strip of ply wood on the frame to keep the lifter in the right position. All good now. Andrew.

Saw this toy at a play centre Bought it for my grandsons I know they will love Building and learning to guide the marbles round the track .

Bought it for our 6 yo Grandaughter, very good fun and educational.

Unsuitable for children, as it collapses at the slightest touch.

Bought for grandson who is a bit youngfor building it yet but enjoys watching the marbles to see where they will go. Love the fact that he will play with it for several years as he learns to build different structures.

Does fall apart a bit too easily if accidentally knocked though.

This was really enjoyable for the kids (and me) to play with. Good instructions to start you off and, once you master the basics of how to ensure the track runs down, the variations are limitless. This is a really big set with loads of pieces so great fun to play with.

Built it together with my 10 year old daughter. She absolutely loved it (and I had lots of fun as well). instructions are very well prepared and clear. product is of high quality: parts are easy to separate from the boards without breaking them.

The kit contains extra pieces of very small or very delicate parts – so even if you lose or break them by mistake you should be able to complete the puzzle. Highly recommend and will definitely buy more products from this brand.

The product fully meets the declared parameters. The child liked it-I collected half a day, then I played half a day. Of the minuses-several details are not tightly held in the groove, I had to glue it, that would constantly not jump out, but these are trifles.

This is the second marble maze that my college-age son has assembled–they are challenging, but really well-made and so fun to watch when all finished and in action! The first one was a gift, but I ordered the second one from the company website with delivery time as expected.

Good morning I appreciate your concern of not hearing from me. Unfortunately since I received the package I have been in hospital and had a cancer removed from my face which took 10 hours to remove. Since then I have had several trips into hospital for check ups.

As of April I will go through a month of radiation treatment. So I am very sorry to tell you all this but I thought it would explain why I have not touched. The marble run and I can ashore you I am more frustrated note being able to not only to start but enjoy the pleaser of building it.

If you enjoy many hours of frustration trying to follow woefully inadequate and outright misleading assembly instructions (the included scan videos are all but useless) then by all means purchase this item.

Pieces do not fit precisely, are way too flimsy and break easily; you will need super glue repeatedly. End result is disappointing; does not operate smoothly and marbles fall off track.

The recipient has not begun putting it together yet. I can report on your personnel… originally I received the wrong item (telescopes) even though the invoice had all the correct information reflecting the Night City Marble item.

I called Signal and spoke to Heidi. She was wonderful! Everything corrected and I received the correct item within days. Thank you Heidi.

My boys love this toy. We often spend many hours trying to figure different ways to build it. Pieces are nice and stay together nicely. It comes with marbles and enough to divide so each players can have some.

My Grandson has been wanting a marble run and My daughter was not thrilled with the idea. I bought this for my house and it packs neatly in a plastic container at clean up time.

bought this for christmas gift. Flimsy. Does not stay together. Very disappointed.

Great produkt, fast shipping , good price

This review is not a reflection on the store because they are great but I wouldn’t recommend this particular marble run. You need to place 2 track blocks on top of each other in order for the marble to run through and down to the next piece and if they aren’t lined up EXACTLY in line with each other, the marble gets stuck.

You then have to move the pieces very slightly to free the marble and in doing so, you make the next one a fraction out of alignment and so on and so forth for the whole run. If an adult builds it perfectly (not easy!) and the marble runs through the complete run, it only takes someone slightly touching it (and let’s face it, kids are going to touch it) you are back to the problem described above.

The blocks are pretty and when everything is perfectly lined up it’s really fun but it’s definitely not suitable for a 3 year old in my opinion (or even my 6 year old). Here are some pictures to show what I mean.

First picture shows the 2 holes that need to line up. 2nd shows how the hole is exactly the same size as the marble. 3rd photo shows how close to being lined up the holes are but not perfect. A marble won’t go though this.

It just sits like the last photo. Any other marbles on the run behind it will roll straight over the top of the stuck marble and off the edge onto the floor. I don’t usually leave negative reviews but it’s really not useable for us which is very disappointing for the price.

I bought this as a birthday present but didn’t realise until my granddaughter unwrapped it that it wasn’t wood but plastic – by which time it was too late to return it! Although the quality of the product was ok – it wasn’t what I ordered so not feeling particularly satisfied.

A good product but finicky to assemble. The design could be improved by shaping the parts so they key together. Too much fine motor control needed for young hands with the current design but it works well.

It’s wonderful as you can compile it differently every time you put it together. My granddaughter is thoroughly enjoying hers.

Bought this and other Quadrilla for my new entrants class.
