We had an older bamboo chimes that finally fell apart after the last large storm and these are the perfect replacement. If you love the sound of bamboo these are beautiful! Might find a better string to hang it with, but would definitely buy again.

Paint is peeling quite rapidly. We love “Charlie”.

Perfect wind-chime compliment to my palm-shaded screened-in porch with my “5 o’clock somewhere” parrot-covered clock and my hayneedle hammock! Colors and size and sound all as advertised. Not too loud, not too soft! A fresh coat of varnish every year and this wind-chime looks like it will last for years.

I have always liked wind chimes, but when I heard these wooden chimes I knew I had to have them. The low comforting sound is perfect. sound they make is just perfect. This is the second order of the chimes for me as they are left out side all the time.

Recommend them to everyone.

We’ve hung the wind chime on our patio. We enjoy the “mellow” sound coming from the carved bamboo tubes. The quality is excellent, and the value as well. There were an abundant variety of wind chimes to choose from, and we found one just right for us.

Not sure why they call it the Cohasset “Whisper” wind chime as it is actually quite loud. This was a Mother’s Day present for my wife and she suggested the 5 star rating. The tone is beautiful as is the appearance.

We have done as the instruction say and removed it from the afternoon sun, so hopefully this helps to preserve its looks and sound.

We bought these to make Christmas gifts for the parents. We glued a photograph of the child on one side, and let the child decorate the other side. Worked well for ages 2 through 10! The parents loved them!.

These are cute, but EXTREMELY tiny. Perhaps large enough for an infant handprint.

The children were so excited to do this. We encourage free-art and enjoy crafts that allow them to express their own creativity and the wood arts normally meet that need. The children were all excited about hanging them at home and hearing the wind blow the chimes.

The description stated that beads may need to be strung and other pieces would need assembled so this project wasn’t for young children. When they arrived, the chimes were fully assembled and just needed painted in order to complete the project.

This resulted in some disappointed children who thought they’d be assembly their wind chimes in the second station rotation of the school’s fun day. We also had tremendous difficulty getting the chime strings untangled to even begin painting.

I love these lil wind chimes! Bought them for a camp activity (we had 10 kids from ages 4-13) and everyone, kids to adults loved coloring/decorating these! We used permanent markers and stick on gems to beautify and they turned out great.

They can tangle easily but a lil shakey, shake and they’re good as new. Lol, and as one mom said you may wanna grab extra because the hearts are super popular with the girls, luckily we had enough ;).

These are really cute for kids to decorate and hang. They’re not very big but are a good size. The only thing that’s a little annoying is that the strings get tangled easily. Overall, however, they’re cute and easy to decorate with paint or markers.

Bought as a gift. The tone is lovely and the bear is adorable. The receivers of this chime are going to be delighted!

This is the second wind chime like this that I have bought. (I ordered the first one from a different vendor). I do realize that bamboo chimes have natural flaws, but this one has gaping cracks in two out of the six bamboo tubes.

Big disappointment from the first one I bought. Wished a million times that I had asked for my money back.

Whats eating Gilbert. ? THe birds. haha Gilbert is so long and has great movement and color/design. Gilbert Comes perfectly wrapped delicately in a bubble wrap around its snazola (nose/face) and paper wrapped around the entire chimes.

Once you open it you instantly see its perfect detail of color and design. I gave 3 chimes as Xmas gifts in 2009 and everyone went crazy over them. Great colors (same as in picture) The sounds are smooth and calm.

You will need to be extra careful with GILBERT (all 3 chimes) with rain/sun/wind. Extra wind could break GILBERT and rain/sun will turn GILBERT pale/color peel etc. the instructions does mention treating the chimes yearly.

GILBERT is worth the price.

I’m SO disappointed with this item, first, one of the tubes is cracked which doesn’t matter at this point because the tubes are hanging too far away from the center disc so they never make contact with it, thus it never chimes even in high wind.

I purchased it awhile back as a gift so I don’t know if it can still be returned but I need to find out. The bottom line is this would be best purchased in person so you can see what you are getting.

I was very impressed with the wind chimes, they are made ver well and the colors are beautiful.

Love it! I call these types of wind chimes “Clacker’s” This one has a higher and softer tone to it which is very nice. Larger bamboo wind chimes have a more larger, rounded and hollow sound. Very well made.

This is the second one I have owned. The first eventually “died” outdoors after many years of giving us pleasure. Love the Asian aspect. It is very wabi sabi if left outdoors to age naturally year round.

This was my first purchase of a Zingz and Thingz product so I didn’t know if the sound would be pleasant but I thought I would go ahead and order since QVC has a good return policy. The tone is beautiful.

It is a medium tone, between the high and the deep, bass tone. It is tuned so each of the pipes blends beautifully. I love windchimes and I am very pleased with this one. I hung it on a corner ceiling of our screen porch.

That corner gets a nice breeze because there aren’t any trees close to that side that could block the breeze. The chimes are sturdy and they withstand more wind than a breeze. We had a few thunderstorms over the summer with the typical wind and the chimes were fine, no tangling and it was nice to hear those during a storm! I recommend these to everyone.

These windchimes sound great! This summer I built a pergola on the side of my house with a tin roof. I’ve loved sitting outside when it rains, listening to the sound of the rain hitting the tin roof.

I thought wind chimes would make it even better! I loved that these were plain when I chose them, the wood pieces are very simple and classy. However, when I got them I felt like they might be too plain.

My daughter has a wood burning kit, so I let her burn a nice floral design into them and they came out beautifully. I love that you can really customize this blank slate! The sound of the chimes is very deep and resonant.

I prefer that to the tinny, higher pit hed chimes I so often hear. The deep sound reminded me of the chimes at a vacation house I stayed in while visiting the Outer Banks, and now these chimes bring me back to that wonderful trip!.

I like bamboo chimes in general, but this chime is particularly great. Birdhouse top is unique and whimsical. Bamboo sound is very pleasant, not overpowering. Love it so much I bought one for my daughter’s house after she admired mine.

The African trio bamboo chime was delivered right on the day of my daughters bday and perfectly packaged! It was larger than expected- a big plus, and well made. Shipping was expensive at $12+ but it arrived in perfect condition.

These animal figures are great. The sound is great too. Lately there hasn’t been much of a breeze & it’s been too hot to open the windows. I look forward to the fall.

The product came just as described. It was given as a gift and the recipient loved it. Since it is all natural wood, one of the bamboo “chimes” had a split in it but since it is the real wood, there isn’t much that could be done about it.

All the other chimes were in good order. Product was delivered on-time according to the schedule that was given when ordered.

It’s winter so I can only admire the beauty of these chimes from my window, but looking forward to the sound this spring. The pipes were bigger than I expected, I had a smaller one before, and I love the look and sound.

Bamboo is a natural product so there is a crack in one pipe, but that’s to be expected. For the price it’s a very good value. Made pretty well. Should last several years.

I purchased the wind chimes because of the fish on top since I was using the nauticlal theme on my patio. Much to my surprise this was one of the most realistic carved wood fish I have ever seen. The color and design is nearly perfect to a real fish.

My husband, the fisherman, was quite impressed. Now for the best part. the wood chimes are music to our ears! The lightest breeze moves the chimes and makes the nicest sounds. we are quite pleased !.

We purchased these wind chimes for a friend whose mother had passed. In addition to a donation to Hospice, we wanted to give her something tangible and, based on the reviews, felt these fit the bill.

Beautifully and securely packaged, she was delighted when she opened them and has since told us they have an absolutely lovely sound. They are listed as “Memorial” wind chimes and depict the Tree of Life; however, there is nothing in the box explaining this idea (the Tree of Life – memorial).

The instructions do include a photo advertising them as a “pet” memorial. I love the idea that when the wind blows and a lovely sound is heard from the chimes, our friend will think of her dear mother.

I believe the packing should include some sort of card about them being used as a memorial since they are listed as such.

The quality and sound of this windchime is unbelievable. It’s the same exact quality, all around, as ones in the stores here that cost $60-$80. The wood is superior and the chimes are loud and heavy weight! Don’t bother buying anything else.

These wind chimes are so beautiful, relaxing, and calming. I’m usually very choosy about wind chimes because they are often annoying if not made well, but these are really lovely. They are tuned to a specific chord, so it doesn‘t sound like random noise.

They’re also big enough to give a full, rich sound as opposed to the tinkly kind of sound heard from cheaply made chimes. The packaging was absolutely beautiful and featured beautiful tissue paper printed to look like old sheet music, making this item really giftable.

We bought this as a summer porch decoration. It should not be out in the weather, but in a protected location. We find it entertaining and as we spend much time out of doors, we frequently walk the length of our porch.

As we pass by, we give the flapper a tug to watch the wings go and to hear the chimes sound. Lovely bamboo tones. Wind often sets this gooney bird in motion and chiming. Lots of fun, and seems to be well made.

Keep it under cover, as ours is on a porch.

I love this wooden wind chime. It is perfect for an informal garden area, a porch or a patio, The birds head bobs along with the melodic soft clacking of the chimes. It makes a soothing sound as opposed to the sometimes jarring sounds of some metallic chimes.

I would definately order another wooden wind chime if I found another design this appealing.

The idea is good. The quality was not. The chord to attach the chimes is way too short, making it hard to tie them on securely. The chimes are cheaply made as well, so forget that lovely tinkly sound you expect from chimes.

Better chimes, longer chord would have made this a far superior product.

Kids can not string the chimes themselves. The string is not long enough and the holes are too little. There are 5 chimes/strings so it took a LOT longer to finish this project as it required the adults to string them all on.

These wind chimes make such a relaxing sound. I love them. I don’t much about making wind chimes so my only concern is that the string seems to be very small for the size of the bamboo chimes. They are hanging somewhat out of the direct weather so I hope they hold up for a long time.

I would recommend these to anyone who appreciates the gentle sounds of bamboo wind chimes.

These wind-chimes were exactly what I was looking for. I love the natural bamboo and the fact that the only metal is the hanging hook. Very mellow and melodic tones, not too loud for neighbors. Really soothing tones.

My friend’s father was a master wood craftsman who spent a lot of time outdoors with the family. These windchimes had mixed reviews, but buying metal chimes wouldn’t compare to the sound and craftsmanship of the wooden bamboo ones as a remembrance gift.

My friend loved the chimes and mentioned how beautiful they were. After a few weeks, she still was enjoying them.
