15 Best Wool Carpet Cleaner (2022 Updated)

My son spilled spaghetti sauce all over my light colored kitchen rug. I thought no way is this going to come up. Well, it did and my rug looks great!! Not even one speck of spaghetti sauce. Would DEFINITELY recommend this product!!!.

I have a cabinet under my kitchen sink full of stain-fighting cleaners for rugs, carpet and upholstery. None of them work as well as Uni-Cleaner. Actually removed stubborn, heavy traffic dirt. Color safe and worth the price.

Spilled a drink on our new carpet and panicked. Luckily we had purchased this cleaner along with our new carpet and immediately sprayed it on the spill. Can’t even tell there was a spill – looks like the day we unrolled it.

I purchased this Hoover Max Strength Deep Stain Remover about a month and a half ago because of a stain on my living room carpet that no matter what I tried just would not get this stain out. Then my mother-in-law told me about this Hoover Max Strength Deep Stain Remover so of course I purchased it and tried it out on this horrible stain and it’s gone! Only 2 applications of this product and the stain is gone! I am so happy with the results of this stain remover.

I have no idea what the stain was from but it looked like either blue berry something of ink and it was a good sized stain, it was 3 inches across one way and about 7 inches long (it was more like a circular stain), but this was a large stain, and using Hoover Max Strength Deep Stain Remover it only took 2 applications to remove it, and the stain remover was very simple to use, I didn’t have to sit there and scrub or anything, just spray Hoover Max Strength Deep Stain Remover on the stain let it sit and I used a towel and blotted it up.

Since that stain there have been a few other accidents with spilling something on my light colored carpet, but because I know I had this stain remover I just grabbed it sprayed it on the spill let it sit and blotted up.

Each new spill/stain I have recovered with Hoover Max Strength Deep Stain Remover so quick and easily. This is a great product and I’m so happy my mother-in-law told me about it, I have recommended this product to a few of my friends and I know one of them has already purchased it, and she’s having the same great results.

What can I say you can’t go wrong with a Hoover product. I’m a Hoover women from carpet solutions all the way to carpet shampooers I have a full line up. The Hoover max strength deep stain remover is a product you can’t go wrong with.

After testing a small section of my carpet to make sure no discoloring accord. We took another section of carpet no one really seen Incase it didn’t work and begun testing. We look code red, red wine, and even a lil oil grease ( husband is in the oilfield) and placed on different sections of the carpet and left over night.

The next day we followed can directions to clean up. The code red came up no problem didn’t have to scrub or do again. The red wine was a lil bit harder had to scrub a bit to get it to remove but worth it considering you can’t tell there was even anything there.

Now the oil grease was a bit more challenging to get up but what’s new it’s hard to get out of work clothes. We ended up scrubbing and getting about 50% of the black out of the carpet after ten minutes we gave up and let the spot dry.

About an hour later went back to work on it this time we let it sit on the stain for about 15 min took and scrubbed it after words and guess what no more grease stain. The Hoover deep stain remover gets the job done.

It’s easy to use, instructions are clear, and the can is nicely designed. All though you might have to put a lil work into some tougher stains it’s worth it when you see results you want. Can’t wait to tell everyone about another Hoover product.

I have both pets as well as children in my household who like to keep me on my toes with messes. I have been on the hunt for a good stain remover for my carpets as my dogs have recently made a mess on my carpet with a bottle of tomato juice.

I have had stubborn red stains in my carpet that I just can not get out no matter what I try. I am happy to say that the stains are now gone since using this deep stain remover! I love the cannister as it is easy to hold in my hand while I spray onto spots on the carpet.

No matter what it is this is going to get it out. It is effective but gentle so it won’t ruin fabrics. It has a scent of Wildflowers so you can even use it as an air freshener. I cooked fish 🐟 one evening and after spraying this, you would never know.

On a daily basis, I drink a ‘medicinal’ coffee which includes, among other things, about a Tbsp of turmeric. And, I am reaching the age where coordination is becoming problematic. On TWO occasions I spilled my whole cup of coffee on the carpet (in rental accommodation)! I tried different products, but nothing touched the bright yellow/orange stain, until I found the Woolite Oxy Deep Stain and Ooor Remover.

Not only is there now no reminder of my Klutzy behaviour, but I have also rid the carpet of a stain that was here when I moved in 2 years ago. I highly recommend this product.

I am an upholstery cleaner & I love anything Woolite. Does the job. Even if it doesn’t come out the first time you rub with a microfiber cloth it a few times & the stains are out. I recommend Woolite products my customers.

This particular solution is great. Works well with recent stains. It’s very gentle on most all upholstery fabrics. But it’s so hard to find because ppl are just buying Resolve in droves. So Resolve has most of the shelf space.

When I run out of my professional cleaners & I need solutions. I run to Walmart to get Woolite. For the 1 customer who used it on his all over soiling dining chairs. (Meaning your kids use the chairs as a napkins) This solution is not meant for old greasy food stains.

You need a Orange citrus based solution for that. But for non oil stains that are 2 weeks or less. This will get the job done.

This is my go-to product for general dirt, mud, grime, etc. brought into the house by two dogs. Can be used for one spot at a time, or for larger areas (easier to do with a brush mounted to a broom stick).

I have carpets that are over 20 years old, and this stuff keeps them looking presentable, if not pristine. Smells good, too. Probably won’t work on urine stains – need a specific urine cleaner-upper for that!.

Capture is a dry cleaning powder for carpets. It has performed very well over the years for me. I have used several types and brands of products that promise the best results, but Capture is the only one that truly delivers on that promise.

It is a little more difficult to use but the results speak for themselves. The best result of Capture is that most stains go away and do not return. Other products can clean a stain but it always seemed to show up later.

This is a great carpet cleaner. We have a small home on a lake and wet cleaning products simply don’t work out due to the humid conditions. This product works, and Tool Hub delivered it quickly and at a good price too.

This stuff is probably the best rug spot cleaner I’ve ever used. I’m surprised it’s not really well known. I’m going to buy 10 more of these in case it gets recalled in the future. I used this stuff on old stains and they came out.

I was awing over how everything started to disappear before my eyes. I can’t be any happier with this product.

Used this to clean my carpets in the house where the kids had spilled drinks or tracked in mud and it worked great! No residue or funky chemical smell. Smelled fresh and clean. I decided to give it a shot on my back seat where the kids and dogs had made stains with food or mud.

It worked great and didn’t leave the seat feeling stiff like some other cleaning products I have used in the past have. Also made the car smell fresh.

This product does a great job my rugs are very clean , water was black.

Nothing gets cat vomit out of light carpet like Resolve. this is great stuff. I used to use Woolite foam carpet cleanser, but that was a far inferior product to Resolve. There is a trick to getting the best results, though.

For best use at home, remove any solid pieces from the stained area first. Do not rub the stain into the carpet. Spray Resolve over the stained area until it is completely covered. It will temporarily turn foamy, then before your eyes, the stain will disappear.

I am not kidding. Let it sit for awhile. If the stain remains, (it will be lighter) just respray. Then, leave it alone until it dries. Vacuum it up, and the stain is gone. Cat vomit, mustard, red wine, blueberries – whatever.

It works best with organic stains. Magic Marker stains – not so much. I’ll never buy another carpet cleaner, unless it’s better than Resolve, and that is hard to imagine.

Sell Spot Shot or Flex. Much better cleaner for carpets and furniture. Resolve is terrible!

I had an employee walk through a grease spot in our parking lot. Before they new it, they had tracked it all throughout our office. Little spots every two feet. I purchased the Resolve, sprayed it on each spot, waited a few minutes and each spot came completely clean.

It doesn’t clean as it’s advertised. My carpet wasn’t really in need of a deep clean, just high traffic areas looking like high traffic areas so my OCD kicked in & I decided to use the Rug Doctor bc a professional cleaning wasn’t necessary.

Wrong choice!.

It worked great for my purposes once I got the hang of it. Cleaning it was kind of difficult because the discharge tank didn’t want to drain all the stuff out easily and things get stuck in there like the roller as well.

Basically had to stick a garden hose in there and squirt it out. You don’t want to clean it in your house or drain it in your tub because it will clog up your tub and mess it up bad but that’s because the machine really cleaned the carpet so good.

I had no idea how dirty my carpet was until I emptied the discharge tank. WOW!!! So glad I did it. Bottom line, the carpet got CLEAN.

One of the better carpet cleaners I’ve used. For high traffic areas, I’ve sprayed this directly on my carpet in full strength and let it sit for a bit. Then, I wet vacuumed and the carpet looked a lot brighter.

Product works ok, sometimes need to reapply several times for it to look acceptable. Hpoing for a better product in the future.

this seems to work great on whites. removes stains well. and it’s thicker than most sprays, so it gives you a minute to get it rubbed into the fabric before it drips onto the floor. the only reason i didn’t give it 5 stars is because it is usually a bit more expensive than the other brands.

I wasn’t super enthused with this product at first – I didn’t notice a significant difference in performance between it and the normal Hoover carpet cleaning liquid I use. But then I got to some tough, deep living room stains that I’ve never been able to get out.

I was genuinely shocked to find that, with very little effort, I was able to completely remove all but one of these stains. It was seriously like magic, with only a little liquid the stains rubbed right out and it happened in seconds, I was seriously shocked, these stains have haunted me for years! I am extremely happy with what these little things are capable of.

I’m only giving it four stars because, other than those tough stains, I still felt that it didn’t do significantly better than my usual cleaning liquid, and I also felt that it took too long for the pack to fully dissolve in the water tank, I was standing around waiting for several minutes.

So if you are just doing normal carpet cleaning, your standard solution should suffice. But if you need something to fight stubborn stains, stains that don’t come out no matter what you do, you should definitely consider this.

Ok I love these. I have loved my Hoover carpet cleaner it had been good to me for the last 3 years but it is a pain to just buy the liquid carpet cleaner all the time. These are so convenient and pack just as much cleaning power.

My carpet looked amazing after I finished. I will definitely be buying these packs from now on over the liquid and will be telling all of my friends about them. Less mess and way less stress and so much cleaning power packed in that little pod.

I will be doing my upstairs this weekend.

I have some stains from art projects that never cleaned up no matter what we tried. After using the Oxy clean packs the stains had lessened considerably. The stains weren’t gone but were definitely lighter than ever after one cleaning I’m curious if we do another cleaning if it would fully clean up.

I of course use this for spot cleaning and it works great. I prefer the foam cleaner. I’m going to tell you something that you probably would never think of, and that is that I had a brand new, bright yellow blouse “ruined” by 2 huge spots of mahogany red hair color.

I thought that it was going in the trash after the first wearing. Guess what? I decided to try my Resolve foam. After coating the stains 3 times, “no scrubbing”, my blouse looked brand new! Try Resolve in different ways.

I bought Resolve Carpet cleaner because I had heard that it’s a great product. I used it on several spots in my living room. Now, there is a very clear lighter pigment to every single place I tried so thoughtfully to clean.

My rug is ruined and Resolve must have bleach in it. I’m so upset. I’ll now need to replace this carpet and it’s going to cost way more money than I have right now. My rug is entirely ruined.

One person’s issue was the ingredients were only in Spanish, and unavailable in English, and questioned why. Bissell/Woolite sent him a hyperlink to the ingredients, and within the ingredients I saw Isobutane and Propane.

I haven’t researched if these ingredients are in most carpet foams, or what quantities makes the product hazardous, but I see “butane” in isobutane, and straight-up propane: and it sounds like there is instant incineration potential in each can.

It’s unfair for me to comment because I’m ignorant to any potential hazard of the the ingredients, nor have I used the product, but my apartment mate nor I smoke or burn candles; so we should be good if I purchase it.

The ingredients not easily found, and only in Spanish are red flags.

This has been a life saver! I have a beige upholstery couch, a toddler, and a large black dog. I also happen to love red wine and coffee. To say there have been spillage would be an understatement. I’ve had my toddler take a full (but cold, because I’m a mom) mug of coffee and dump it on the couch.

The dog has jumped up and knocked over a full wine glass. There have been pet messes, toddler art work, and everything in between. We even got a cleaning warranty with the purchase of the couch, but thanks to Woolite, we haven’t had to use it.

It still looks new! The only reason for 4 stars is the really heavy perfume smell, it’s a bit overpowering, but for the magic it does to my couch, I’ll live with the strong smell.

We used this on an area rug with a great deal of foot traffic dirt, it took that tracked in grime right out of the rug and it looks brand new. Also used on a urine spots left by a visiting dog and it worked like magic! I highly recommend this product!.

Smells nice, no residue left behind. Just works!
