I’ve had a terrible experience with these boots. The rivets were rough and completely chewed up the laces. Thursday was nice and sent a replacement pair, but the same thing happened with the second pair.

I took them to a cobbler, and he replaced the rivets (which Thursday paid for), and now they don’t eat the laces. But on this pair, the tongue completely slides off the front of the boot and actually goes UNDER my foot.

It’s totally uncomfortable, and I pass on wearing them because I have to keep unlacing them to pull the tongue back to center. These have been such a pain that the fact that they look nice can’t overcome all the hassles and frustrations.

Great durable laces! I’ve had them in other colors, and it made me want another pair. They are a bit brighter yellow than I expected, but that should dull over time, no problem. They also ended up on a different pair of boots than I expected! Sometimes you just have to have them in person to see if they will work with your boots’ “look” or not.

Ya know? These got to me quickly, and were beautifully packaged. I’m always impressed by the presentation as well as the product from Thursday Boots, and will be a customer for many years to come!.

Good length for my President boots. I hope because the have Kevlar they will not fray and break at the metal lace points. Price could be lower. Seems like quite a lot just for laces. They are not flat.

They are round. No issue with that it’s just the original non Kevlar laces are flat. If that is important to you. Not to me.

round Gold/Brown. I bought directly at Walmart Store $2. 00 in 12/2020. i work 7 days a week and wear boots that are exposed to the elements. Laces are exposed to the elements daily since i wear my boots over pants.

Mine are Made in Honduras. My laces are very durable for the past 2 years. Same laces, same way i pull them tight and lace them on and off. No problem here. I dont know why these same laces is costing the same price as kevlar laces.

It should only cost $2. 00 maybe $3. 00 tops.

I bought leather laces because I remember them being the strongest, and I have had trouble with woven bootlaces not lasting. However, I didn’t even get the laces in my boots without breaking both of them.

I dont know where S. C. Johnson buys their leather, but it needs investigating. I rated one star because there arent negative numbers.

Helping keep my boots tied together, It’s really hard to say how good these are. Just suffice it that these are the best laces on the market. Always falling the right direct, never twisting. I can carry my boots by the laces without worry about it snapping and lace them up quickly and not worry about them coming untied and or coming untucked.

I use these on Altama combat boots and will probably continue to use them on every pair of boots that I buy from out. I definitely love these and it’s really a small investment that improves something you didn’t know needed improving in the first place! Everyone with combat boots should buy these!.

These are excellent laces and I really like them. They actually fit my hiking boots better than the longer ones that came with the boot. I like the fact that they do not fray on the ends and seem to get better as they wear in terms of not untying frequently.

The original shoe strings that come with Danner USA made hiking boots are too long and when tied you feel like you may still step on them. Plus they get caught on various things as you hike. So far I like these and am pleased with my purchase.

These 63 inch green laces are one in the same length and color that come with a new pair of Daner mountain lite brown hiking boots. Danner has a system for number of eyelets to inches of shoe lace the mountain lite is the exception to the rule.

63 inches is the ticket. The laces are beautiful, the texture and stiffness are just right. They hold fast when you tighten them and are just the right diameter. They are the only laces for my Daner mountain lite boots.

I love everything about Danner. Maybe some think laces aren’t that important but it’s a bunch of little things Danner does well that make their products perform and last- right down to the laces. I don’t have to fumble around and make sure they stay synched.

So ordered them in about every color they make. The stitching of their boots, the quality of the leather and right down to the laces. Everything I have purchased from Danner has been great quality. Yeah, Danner boots may not be the cheapest but if you have ten dollar feet for hiking- get ten dollar boots.

I bought these to replace paracord laces on my tactical boots. These laces are the best I’ve ever used and I’m a 23 year Army veteran so I’ve had a few bad laces in my lifetime. These laces are easy to tie, don’t stretch out like most laces do and seem to be of the toughest material out there! I’m certain these laces will outlast my boots.

Yes, they are more expensive than most boot laces but you won’t be spending money every 6-12 months! I highly recommend them, you won’t be disappointed!.

These saved the boots. They hold the tie and have a different rather sticky feel to them without being sticky. There is nothing more annoying than inadequate laces and these are over the top good quality!.

I’ve been using these laces for 3 months and one is already breaking. I don’t work in an environment that subjects them to extreme stress, so this is completely unacceptable for what is supposed to be a cut/break resistant boot lace.

These are very nice boot laces but nothing extraordinary. There are plenty of comprable options out there available for a few dollars less but convienience has a value of its own. Broke a lace suiting up for a hunt and needed a replacement then and there.

Already planned to stop by DSG on the way to the field so why not kill two birds? Otherwise, with time and forethought on my side, I’d have picked up replacements from a department store or on the web and saved a few bucks.

No complaints about the product (they’re still going strong) just a touch pricey for what they are.

Not that I’m a stickler for “top of the line, made in America” when it comes to shoe/boot laces, but as someone who goes a little beyond the general appreciation of quality leather, these do not impress at all.

I suppose the low price should’ve been a red flag. These are imported, and the quality is pretty bottom of the barrel. Started fraying, thinning, and falling apart within just a week or two. Probably would’ve snapped if I had continued using them.

I only bought them as a cheap way of trying out the look and feel of leather laces, which thankfully, didn’t end up being for me. For those who know they want leather laces, I’d considering spending a bit more elsewhere for a higher quality product.

Both the speedy delivery and the quality of these laces make purchasing at Academy a must for me from now on. Though I waited a while to write this review, I wanted to see how well these laces were made, I am thoroughly pleased with the performance of these laces, even through my metal boot lace hooks.

Just bought these laces today to replace the ugly laces that came in a pair of boots I ordered. They are the same quality as any other shoe laces that come pre-laced up. Don’t trust the rating on this product as Walmart is including negative reviews of leather shoe laces that are not relevant to these.

Okay honestly, why review boot laces? Well because a couple of years ago one of my boot laces broke, and I had a devil of a time finding decent replacements that were the right length and shape and were durable.

I settled on a pair of Hanwag boot laces even though my boots at the time were a different brand, but I was very happy with the new laces, and so when I bought a new pair of Tatra II GTX boots I was sure to grab a spare pair of Hanwag laces for them!.

Great laces to have on hand as a backup in my pack in case my other laces happen to snap during a hike. Nice colour and high quality!

They CONSTANTLY come undone and I have to re-tie my shoes 50 MILLION TIMES PER DAY. I’m not kidding. When I get so annoyed that I tie them extra tight, it hurts my feet and makes them numb. You might think that being “waxed” would make them stay tied, but oh no.

Not for me they don’t. I find the five-star reviews on here hard to believe. These shoe laces are the absolute worst I have ever used. The only reason I got them is because Kiwi is literally the only brand I’ve been able to find in any store anywhere.

I needed new shoelaces because I was restoring some old shoes of mine that looked pretty rough. These laces had mixed reviews (some negative) but I bought them anyway & honestly they work well & look good for the price.

Yeah they’re thin but they only cost a few dollars so for the price I can’t really complain. BTW I used Kiwi’s instant restore polish shoelaces to make my old pair of shoes look pretty good.

I love my Columbia hiking boots, but the laces never last long. The new Kiwi ones work great, and will hopefully last. I love that Target actually has outdoor laces in the store, since I could never justify a shipping charge for this item.

Unlike other laces, once they are tied, they stay that way! What a great thing. I will probably replace all of my laces with these, even when I buy new shoes

I purchased these because I had already gone through 2 sets of shoelaces with my new hiking boots. The boots are only 2 months old! I needed a lace that would last, and stayed tied. These laces exceed my greatest expectations! After using them for a month now, they show absolutely no sign of wear.

They stayed tied and look great. Nothing seems to bother them including water. I highly recommend these laces to anyone who needs a strong and long lasting boot lace.

I needed to replace the laces that came with my boots. These work well and are even a bit sturdier.

This is the third time I’ve replaced my shoelaces for my Ariat paddock boots. I bought the last pair, a generic brand, in a tack shop and they did not last very long–very flimsy and they started to unravel in about 3 months of constant use.

So, I decided to purchase a pair of shoelaces made by Ariat. These are heavy duty! I guess you have to get the brand name set if you want quality. The cord is very thick and perhaps a bit stiffer than I would like but I think they’ll get soft in no time at all.

These fit Ariat youth tall boots great!

With this quality, this price has never been seen in Japan. I was able to do a good shopping.

You can not buy top race brand shoe lace at this price. I did a good shopping.

This is a long lace (140cm), which for the price is very good value. Hard to explain about the quality but, when I was threading the lace through the eyelets it creased, and wrinkled. So some parts are fat(ish) and some are thin(ish).

Looks like is was about to shed its outer layer. Have to wait and see how long they last, and how reliable they are. I am recommending them because of the price and that they might fit someone elses boots better.

Not better than expected – I expected it to be good! However, the lengths stated in the ad do not, in my experience bear true. The 90cm laces were about 110 cm long and the 75cm laces are only a fraction short of 90cm once under tension.

I wanted 90cm laces so ordered 90cm laces. The shop were very good and supplied me some “75cm” laces, which are perfect!.

I have been using these laces in my safety boots for a number of years now, and am happy to recommend them. They seem to last quite a while, but I always purchase a few so that I have spares. Just before the last few pairs have broken, the outer layer seems to go first, and the inner ‘nylon’ seems to keep going maybe for a couple more days depending on hard you pull on them, hopefully enough time to get replacements if no spares.
