Easily the best workshop buy I’ve made. The value per dollar is outstanding. The top is solid wood and the base is solid steel. Everything about it is solid. Honestly, the top looks great. It’s almost a shame i’ve covered it in greasy car parts.

To that point, it’s easy to clean and I haven’t seen a scratch yet. The drawer is the best part. It has dividers so you can split it up any way you’d like. I used it to organize wrenches and drivers (3/8″, torx, etc.

) Assembly was easy. It didn’t take me more than a few minutes to put together. Great directions and all the tools are included. I get why these are so popular. A++ would buy again.

Sturdy, quality item. I purchased this for my office. Bigger than I realized but I love it. If I had a bigger kitchen it would be something I would use for food prep. The wheels work smoothly, drawer also and drawer can hold quite a bit.

My husband said if he had a work area he would want it. Its a beautiful table, workbench, food prep etc. It’s counter height too. I’m tall and perfect for me.

I’m a professional mechanic. We have several of these benches in our shop. I needed a bench for a new shop I’m setting up at home for after I retire. This bench is solid, the adjustable feet on the bottoms of the legs make it adjustable for uneven floors.

The back and side splash are good details. It was easy to assemble, the only issue was when I didn’t look closely enough at the instructions, and got one piece (temporarily) backwards. Compared to the cost of buying and assembling a work bench from lumber and then paying for a formed metal top, this is a quick, economical alternative.

Price was good, but shipping charges were steep.

I like this bench. I especially like the adjustable feet as my garage floor slopes from the back of the garage to the front doors. Easy to assemble and everything was painted well. There is reinforcing under the bench top, which I was surprised to see.

I plan to install a bench vise to the bench so this is a plus. I am not disappointed with this purchase!.

The table is thick gauge metal, one leg had the predrilled holes of center, but was able to oval them out to bolt together. The welds attacked on, so hopefully they don’t break. When put together seems solid, not afraid to put heavy items on it.

Good product for the price. No drain, but can drill hole in back of table and adjust feet to tilt back slightly to drain out back.

I’ve been using this folding table for two weeks at my off-grid property, on various projects. It has worked flawlessly. Easy to set up (. almost instantaneous), and nearly as easy to fold up. Takes very little room in my workshop when folded.

My only issues are: (1) The clamps aren’t all that strong. they will hold a work-piece while you plane it or sand it, as long as you don’t bring too much pressure to bear. (2) It isn’t easy to find a way to clamp a work-piece to the table using a normal glue clamp or C-clamp — the honeycomb configuration of the table’s surface means that the underside of the table-top has only a thin edge against which to brace the clamp’s bottom jaw.

I found a work-around for this — I held a small chunk of scrap-wood up against the bottom of the table, pushed the clamp upward to hold it in place, and then applied the clamp – problem solved. All in all, a very good auxiliary work table.

For those like me, who live in an apartment or no area for a work shop. This is a great answer for a working station. Folds up and stores in about the same space as a card table (a little thicker though).

Once opened, locked, it is stable and very functional. Included clamp were a struggle to get released from their stored position but there after are manageable. Very nice, that they can lock into the table and be able to hold projects to the table.

I am very pleased I made the purchase. I recommend this product for those with limited working space.

Great little work table! It’s easy to set up and plenty of work surface area for your projects. The fact that it comes with two slide clamps just adds to the versatility of it. Plenty strong enough for what ever you might to use it for.

I recently downsized and don’t have room for a lot of equipment so I was amazed to see, when collapsed, this work table actually fits behind a door! Makes me wonder why I ever used saw horses, that when not in use, had to find somewhere to store them.

Very nice solution. We wanted a bench for the garage to change or take off shoe before entering the house. This is the perfect solution. Very well made, good size, not too difficult to assemble. In addition, the storage shelf keeps the shoes off the floor which is a plus here in scorpion territory!.

The angled pins for securing the unit together are noisy when you move the unit. I’m not overly impressed with the way Dewalt decided to have this be put together. The cushion is not very supportive.

I am a big guy though in Dewalt’s defense. I weight about 240 lbs and the cushion just melts away providing no support.

I so love this! I am using it as a kitchen island. Adds extra counter space to our tiny kitchen. It was a bear to assemble. Took at least 3 hours. Maybe longer figuring out logistics. But so with it! There is not as much clearance on the bottom shelf as I was expecting, but Im sure I could have looked at the specs beforehand if I needed to.

I had wanted to put my KitchenAid stand mixer down there but its too tall. Im finding plenty of other things to store there though. Beautiful workbench!.

I love this workbench. Weighs a ton! But that just makes it very solid to work on. It’s really attractive in addition to being perfect for my stained glass studio. I use it every day and highly recommend it.

Fantastic workbench we are using it for an outdoor kitchen countertop. Love the look of it and it’s very solid once assembled. Assembly was straightforward and not too tricky. Very pleased with our purchase.

I really like the workbench so far. I read a lot of reviews that complained about damaged parts – mine came out of the box perfect. While it took me some time to set it up, and moving the butcher block top is better with two people, it looks great.

It really was simple to do, and I’m not that handy. Considered the built in drawer unit, but decided to go with the standalone tool cabinet on wheels for maximum options. Was concerned it wouldn’t fit underneath, and I read differing opinions on whether it would (even from Craftsman) I’m happy to report it does fit well.

(37. 5 inch tool chest height. ) The only thing is this bench is really tall. I’ve never had one this tall, and it takes some adjusting. The grandkids will have trouble with the height, so I will need to get a stool or two.

The workbench assembled easily. The quality is excellent. Picking it up from Farm & Fleet was very easy and straightforward. You do need to be mindful of the overall weight, which is easy if you have someone to help lift the finished unit; but a little more tricky if you are working solo.

I put four locking casters on mine, to make it easy to move around in my workshop, which will be necessary from time-to-time. The caster stems screw right in where the levelers would go otherwise. Trouble-free.

This thing is not HEAVY DUTY as advertised and certainly not worth $250 to $280. It is made of the cheap thin metal that will bends n dent easy. The bolts n nuts used are the CHEAP easy to strip metal.

The ONLY thing nice about this bench Period is the butcher style top. its not a heavy duty sturdy made product. I suggest you go look at it in a store before you consider a purchase. IF the drawer assembly had been included with the bench.

Then Maybe it would be worth the selling price but the actual construction of the bench is dissappointng.

It’s not what it looks like on the sight. It has a long board that is missing on the top of the table. It’s the way it’s made but I needed an complete top not a board missing. I would not recommend this table.

Like most directions that come with things like this, they were hard to understand. But once I put it together it was worth it. This workbench is made of quality wood and looks great! I will put it to good used over the years to come.

Great benches that are designed well for good price. Easy to assemble. Very good quality of materials with a perfect fit and finish. Have two for my leather shop.

Got this as a Father’s Day gift, and also as a hint to get rid of the cobbled together, scrap wood workbench that was taking up too much space in the garage. I’ve only used this a few times so far, but it works, well, like a workbench.

The inside storage is great, I now have the tools I need the most close by and easy to get to. The side pegboard is handy for everyday stuff, and there’s storage on top too. We can now walk around the cars easily in the garage, but anytime I need to work or access a tool, just flip the lock lever and I’m in business.

Assembly was really pretty straight forward, although the instructions could be improved. There are 2 places where the diagram show a process, but the written directions are missing. Plus, you really have to pay attention to the diagrams to make sure you have alignments correct.

They tend to change perspective, so in one panel you are looking from the top view, then the next step is from a side or back view. It can be confusing. It would also be nice if the parts were actually labeled to match the instruction labels.

All that being said, it went together pretty smoothly, no missing or damaged parts. I was able to hang it without help, but it’s definitely better as a 2-man job.

I originally purchased a bench set with two floor cabinets from Costco a few years ago. This last week I purchased another bench from Lowe’s. Once I assembled the new one and placed it alongside the original workbench I realized they have changed the dimensions.

The older bench was 23″ deep. The new one is only 20″ deep. Wish they would have kept it at 23″. The new one is a bit too narrow for a proper workspace. And now I can’t decide whether to align the fronts or the backs of the benches.

Sure, it feels mostly solid. Good wood, solid metal legs. But, for as tall as it its, the adjustable feet stabilizer things have plastic bottoms to them, and they are very slippery, so the whole table moves around quite easily when pushed.

Which is probably not a good thing if you have objects on them and people and kids bump into the table and easily knock them over. So why not provide very sticky, rubber soles instead of making the customer go back out to the store to go find the right sized sticky things or having to make some for them? I like it overall.

But it’s tall and on the narrow side of things, so with these slippery legs, it’s not very well balanced, and it would be best served placed against the wall than be in the middle of the floor.

Legs look nice and top looks nice. I can see where the lacqer is missing on edges of wood. If you run your fingers across the top it is wavy and can feel cracks where wood scraps are glued together. I really want to return due to poor workmanship but threw box away.

It was not planed after glued together or something.

This is a heavy pricey workbench and exactly what I needed. As others have mentioned, the wooden top is easily marked, however that doesn’t bother me, because it’s a work bench. I am using it as a jewelry workstation, and needed something to accommodate a heavy vice, bench lathe and bench vise.

I also needed something with a lip which would allow me to clamp on other tools periodically. This bench met all my needs. I did put felt pads under some of the heavier stuff, and drilled holes to bolt down the rolling mill.

Will obviously have to do the same for the large vice. I cringed at the price, but had quotes for having it custom made and it would’ve been over $1000. The only reason I gave it four stars was the easy markabiility of the surface but that doesn’t affect my use of the product.

I shopped about six months before choosing this product. You would be amazed at how difficult it is to find a really heavy bench which also has enough of an overhang to use C clamps. I did not fasten it to either the floor or the wall but it is heavy enough that when I use my rolling mail it doesn’t budge.

This is perfect for me.

I WANT to love this workbench but the top is not built to last. I’ve had 2 of these and both had suffered severe splitting. This workbench is completely overkill for us, used exclusively inside as a dining room/kids project table.

No chemicals, water, heavy tools/equipment, extreme temps or humidity. I wouldn’t expect a premium product to fail so quickly. Replacement tops are pricey, so I guess this is an expensive lesson to buy a different product.

Well built and relatively easy to put together. A nice option would be a shelf to fit across the two bottom stretchers – but they don’t offer one (hoping you will buy the work cabinets to fit underneath).

I built one out of two 2″ x 10s” with one 2″ x 6″ in the middle, notched on each inside corner. Nice and snug, and I didn’t have to plane! The multicolor “Gladiator” badge a nice touch – odd that other badges on other pieces NOT multicolored.

Branding inconsistency.

I rather suddenly fell into business and desperately needed an affordable workbench quickly for crafting. After looking everywhere I stumbled upon this bench. I was unsure about using plastic legs but knowing I could return them to a store I took the risk.

We received this in less time than expected. The box was beat up but everything was in the box and undamaged. I thought I was getting the bench and shelves but only got the bench, which was correct – I should have read the description more closely.

There was an instruction sheet in the box but it’s definitely not necessary. I figured out the size bench I wanted (30″ x 96″) and easily calculated the necessary wood. This bench is undies on tile floors so I covered the bottomof each leg with a half inch thick piece of cork and cut it to fit the bottom footprint of each leg perfectly.

I did purchase stainless decking screws because the ones included were lame looking. I cut the boards and the three plywood sheets, slid it together and screwed it all together. I am only using half of a shelf for the middle shelf.

It is working perfectly. I stained the entire bench then polyurethaned it. I absolutely love it so I couldn’t the L shaped 2×4 Basics bench and 2 more benches and 4 sets of shelves. Great deal and it’s extremely sturdy.

we tested how sturdy it was because I had read other reviews that said it was not stable. I’m going to have to completely disagree with that. I put four 200 to $250 lb grown men on top and had them sort of move around bounce around and the table did not move, it did not even shake.

I think the addition of the cork also helped it be more secure on the floor and unlikely to slide around. Plus it gives it a little bit of cushion for heavy equipment that I have on the bench.

One word: FRUSTRATION! The screws that screw into the boards are angled ~30 degrees. This is awkward to work around. You have to build it away from walls. Several screw holes were not drilled. Poor quality control.

The screws go thru the plastic and are difficult to remove. Have washers for your screws. Finally, you have to disassemble one leg to get the middle shelf in. PITA. Clearly this was designed on a computer and not work tested.

I will pribably replace the legs with 1x3s and toss these poorly designed legs. All of you that give unwarranted 5* reviews to get credit from Amazon: shame on you.

I love my 2X4 Basics Workbench legs! They made building my workbench much easier! I would recommend using 3″ screws for attaching the 2X4’s though instead of the 2″ screws that came with mine. I also used the Multi-Use Construction screws so I would not have to pre-drill the holes first.

They worked great and did not split the 2X4’s.

really nice quality table. had missing bolts and had visit home depot as a result. But i really like this table. I want to order a second one but wonder if i will get more parts missing again. also there was a bad scratch on the top of the wood too.

This excellent product could do better if quality control was better. also i hear that they use to use Bamboo wood. I wish there was that option.

I am pleased wit the extra surface space this gives me in the garage. The white spruce legs might look cheap at first glance but they are from a superior source and do a great job of creating a really firm/solid feel.

I thought this bench was worth every penny (and, perhaps, still do) until I noticed Axminster sell an identical looking item for £100 less. Notwithstanding, This is a great bench if you are a woodworking fan.

I am very happy with this purchase. Very heavy and smooth top. Legs and shelf are well designed and sturdy. The 2 vises are well made and operate smoothly. They are easily moved to any of the 4 vise locations.

Though I have a medium size shop it feels small because I have so much “stuff”. This smaller workbench fits well and has very adequate working space.

I carve 7+ foot Greenland kayak paddles and will use both vices on the long side often. In the meantime it will make an excellent all around work bench. The assembly instructions are very sparse. Study the few drawings carefully and note the size and placement of the various pre-drilled holes when assembling the base legs.

DO NOT over-tighten the vice guides on the bottom of the table top.

Ordered this bench for a shop and attached a vise to it. It’s a large bench and offers good support. I think we will end up screwing it to the concrete floor to provide further stability. Really appreciate the height adjustability.

Shipping took some time from the manufacturer, but I’m happy with the quality and it was very straight forward to assemble.

I was grumpy when my washing machine packed it in whilst full of water. With this part, which was a direct “bolt in” there was no more hassle (after I drained all the water). It functions perfectly and replacement was super simple, a credit to the Fisher and Paykel design.

VERY happy with this purchase. Using in the kitchen as a coffee station. It looks good. Drawers are nice and come with pre-cut liners, which was a pleasant surprise The swing-out doors are a little bit flimsy, if I were looking for a weak point.

Overall, it works perfectly for our uses—and much better quality than all the super flimsy kitchen island options here.

The chest arrived on time and they delivered it to our pool house. It was packed well and assembled easily. It sits outside and is water proof. I️ agree with other comments regarding the doors. They are a bit flimsy but it hasn’t impacted the functionality.

I️ like that we can lock it up. Great product.

I just purchased the blue version of this product. The workbench is very well packaged, heavy cardboard corner protections all around as well as foam on all sides. Assembly is just the four casters and the handle.

Do not assemble the casters on the opposite end of the unit, as shown in the product photo. Make sure the casters are on the handle end, fixed wheels opposite the handle, as described in the instructions.

The hardware pack contained a hex tool to assemble the casters, and a small wrench to mount the handle, to the workbench. The hex tool has a smaller end, it does not fit any of the included hardware, the larger other end fits all the caster mounting bolt heads.

(Must be a multi-unit tool for other assemblies). All casters are of very good quality and were assembled to the workbench with no problems. Same for the handle, which takes the four smaller bolts and washers.

Make sure to remove the four large blocks of styrofoam from inside the cabinet holding the four shelves in-place. The top two blocks of styrofoam will interfere with the slide-out drawer if you don’t remove them first.

All pieces were powder-coated with no damage or scratches. The fit and finish of the shelves and bins were also very well done. The workbench is overall a well-built unit and is well worth the money.

For those advising the top shelf does not slide in and out very well, mine works perfect, (perhaps the styrofoam shipping blocks were still inside the workbench). When assembling, utilize the cardboard and styrofoam packaging to lay the workbench on its back and bolt-on the wheels.

The wheels and handle are located in the top drawer, you will have to unlock the drawer, (and doors), with the included keys taped to the top.

I purchased the 46 in workbench with workspace for my sewing/craft room. I use this cabinet for my Cricut storage and workspace. This helps me keep my workspace clean & organized and all my supplies in one space.

The wood top is a great place to keep my Cricut so that is accessible at all times. I also purchased the 9 drawer cabinet and with the mobility I can put the cabinets back to back to make more workspace if needed.

Yukon cabinets from Harbor Freight are perfect for my needs.

This workstation was fantastic. It suited my table saw well, and I was able to finish a few household tasks that I had been putting off until the holidays. The fact that it was small and light appealed to me much.

That isn’t to say the item isn’t of good quality or durable; it does teeter a little, but so did my workbench when I was using a folding table. I suppose you could have two seesaws, but the tabletop would require another wooden panel.

This product takes care of everything. It fits well in the storage cabinets in my carport. The material is tough and has withstood cuts from my knife and drill slips. The tiny tray that comes with it is ideal for storing and sorting random items.

This workstation comes highly recommended.

Two of the legs on mine got stuck, I finally got one out after about three minutes of hard work, the other one would not budge. I ended up getting a huge pair of channel locks and twisted it out. I made the mistake of trying the same leg in a different hole and it again got stuck.

Furthermore one of three legs is a full 1/2 longer than the others. So much so that getting it in and out of the locking clips was a chore. Maybe I just got a dud, still trying to decide if I want to exchange it for another one of just go with the Dewalt.

I was really surprised to see this table today along with their 15 in 1 quick change screw driver. This work table can be used with a router, so you can actually modify it. The best part is the fact that this table is near leveled, which it’s very important if you are doing any form of finish work.

Very portable and light to carry to the jobsite when you need a table to work with. It’s actually higher than the other collapsible work table they had earlier, but this one is just as good. I also love the striking blue color for better visibility.

Easy to set up and put away when you don’t need it. Highly recommend it.

Really attractive workbench. It’s very aesthetically pleasing, and a quality counter space to work on. The only problem I have is that it’s not very stable when sanding or filing things on it. I use it as a guitar repair bench and it can get a little shaky when I’m filing a nut or frets.

I would guess that it would be more stable set at a lower height but I got it specifically to work standing up. I expected more for the price paid.

Sturdy and well constructed. I like the adjustable height feature. However, I intended to mount a very heavy vise to do some heavy work and there was no means to attach this workbench to my slab so the leverage to use the vise with pipe wrenches, etc.

was not there. However, it will serve as a great workbench to meet most all of my other needs.
