20 Best World Wall Map (2022 Updated)

I thought I ordered laminated maps. There were three options: folded, laminated, and rolled. I clicked laminated, but apparently Walmart. com’s interface will only let you pick rolled, which wasn’t clear at the time.

The USA map was tightly rolled with the blank side facing out, and the world map was wrapped around it, map side out. I saw another reviewer say he thought he only got a world map. Possibly he threw away the USA map thinking it just part of the packaging — like the cardboard on a roll of paper towels.

Bottom line, the maps are very detailed, beautiful, made in USA, delivered quickly, and the price was good.

It is better than I thought it would be. The countries are different colors so they are easy to see. It would be good for school children to keep up with current events. I got a large one, but they come in all sizes.

It is laminated, so it doesn’t tear easily. It comes rolled so there are no creases.

Im very pleased with this laminated map set. Ive long wanted a world map but didn’t have the wall space until a recent move. My new office area had a lovely wall crying out for decoration so my coworkers would see something other than white when we video conferenced.

These too maps fit the bill.

This map is a fantastic addition to my in-home make-shift classroom. I needed a tool that I could use that would look great on a pc camera and that I could use for social studies lessons. I shopped around and Staples and the best priced world maps that I could find with the best colors.

The colors are vibrant and easy to see on camera. I love that the map is laminated, so that I can use a dry erase marker on in it, and clean up any marks between classes.

This Map is listed as “Laminated” but I would describe it as “Clear Coated.” At any rate, it is definitely worth purchasing and is rich in detail.

This is a beautiful excellent quality map. It is covered with a nice finish so you can use dry erase markers on it. We have loved using this map.

This has been my experience with Etsy. The product is not ready to use when it arrives. I wanted a map ready to hang right out of the box. \nThis map is beautiful and of good quality. But it was not ready to be mounted on the wall.

Yes, they sent little hooks that I spend over one hour trying to insert them into the wood without any success. At minimum, they should have created holes for you to put the hooks in. I was not able to do that.

Hence, I gave up and gave this map to goodwill. I bought another map from another well-known store that assured me that upon arrival, my map would be ready to be place on the wall.

Really great map! It was well packaged and got here when it was supposed to. It fills my entire wall, which I love. I bought just the map, and used a wood lath board with some magnets (one attached to the board, then the other to cinch the map on the backside) to attach the map, then hung it with some d-rings.

Not quite as nice as what they offer when you upgrade the map, but I was in need of a less expensive option! Also – you need two people to hang this without damaging it. \nI’m super happy with this overall, and would definitely recommend!.

This map is perfect as a visual representation of the books my class has read this year! Each time a student finishes reading a book they get one sticker to place on the map where the book is set. It is perfect for our library wall and the students are excited to mark their accomplishments! The size and quality are exactly what I hoped they would be.

Where will they travel through the pages of books? We’ll see.

It actually looks great on my wall, reminds me of when I was little. It’s poster quality paper, so don’t expect this crazy thick paper. It came in a tube like those that are used by architects for their blueprints.

I’d recommend strong tape to put it up. It’s just a little too heavy for paint-tape. If you’d like, put it between two pieces of glass in a frame with two to three inches of space all around the poster itself and you have yourself a classic.

It also provides for “drawing” on the map without damaging it. The glass and frame DO NOT come with the poster. The poster comes by itself in the architecture blueprint like tube.

First one delivered , the tube it was in was bent . Therefore left a big crinkle in the map .Returned it and ordered a second one . That arrived in perfect condition.. Love the map overall .

My boy (12) is a self-proclaimed geo nerd. His walls are covered with maps of countries he’s been to, and others he wants to visit. This is a perfect addition to his collection. Thanks for the great product!.

I have purchased these maps a couple of times over the years. They are large and sturdy. I like the laminate which wipes clean if needed. I mounted this on a large styrofoam board and hung it on a wall.

I used map push pins to mark the locations of all our churches in the US and overseas. Worked great. These are well-made and last a long time. They never discolor, peel up on the edges or become misshapen, even with years of use.

Overall, a great product!.

Was looking for a laminated world map but could not find. This is paper but great quality. The colors on the map are very vibrate. Will have it framed.

This is an excellent world map. It is quite readable, good print on names of countries, cities, US states. It is well laminated and large. It came in a plastic tube in a long box.

This is a very nice map. It’s large enough to see all the countries and is also attractive. We’re using it when we play Worldle and are learning our way around the world. I would recommend it.

The map is nice and large and arrived in perfect condition. I am a tad disappointed in its “laminated” title. It is heavy duty, but not well laminated. I had hoped to be able to write on it w/ dry erase markers, but it is hard to clean once I write on it.

Package and Shipping horrible. It was rolled but then pressed defeating the whole point and causing multiple deep creases through the map. Additionally instead of placing it in a shipping tube like any sane person would its wrapped in plastic and taped.

And Definitely not laminated! Its just printed on poster paper do yourself a favor and don’t buy.

I wanted a world map for my children and this one is working out perfectly. It is easy to read and looks nice on our wall. It seemed a bit pricey for a paper map, un-laminated, but since I was trying to shop local, this was the best I could find.

I would have purchased it online, but the description online didn’t include the measurements of the map.

I bought this very large map for my Grandson. We will put pictures of family members on the states and countries where they live. This will help him see where his family members are. We love the large size of the map.

Hi All, So I bought this for a gift for my friends Birthday. She always wanted one but couldn’t decide which one to get. So I basically had to make all the choices for her LOL I was on the fence about what to pick that it came down to ordering it a week before her Birthday Party.

I didn’t think it was going to come in time and had planned on printing a picture of it and putting it in a card. Well, it came the day before her party! I was so happy. Couldn’t believe how fast it arrived.

It was 6 days from when I ordered it. She has since put it on her wall and put pins in it. She loves it and I have to say its really good quality. I like that it comes with hanging instructions, she had it up the next morning.

I had picked the largest size in the three panel option. With the black map of the world. We had customized the legend and got the Pins in Orange and copper, her favorite colors. My friend is the kind of person who is very hard to buy for and this was perfect.

I LOVE my new map art decor. I’ve been looking for a map like this for sometime now but wasn’t able to find one that really fit my decor until now. The customizable section excites everyone that I show it to because they don’t expect to see my name on the piece – makes it extra special! The size I got (24×16) was perfect for my wall space but I quickly learned that the pins offered were better suited for marking countries vs.

US states at this size. When I used the pins provided it overcrowded the US map and I did not like that look much. With a little creativity, I ended up matching the gold pins provided with a smaller gold sewing pin to mark the US states that I have already visited.

Worked out wonderfully! I love it so much and it constantly inspires me to make my next travel plans soon.

The map is beautiful! So easy to hang. It was our Christmas present to our son and he loves it. Lots of fun details to discover. One piece of feedback I would give is we got the barnwood finish and within the first 30 seconds of taking the map out of the box I had slivers in my hand from the frame.

We just picked it up with gloves on after that. Would 100% buy again just in a different frame. Service was fantastic, arrived on time with everything you need to hang the map and push pins to mark your favorite places.

Plus it’s gorgeous!.

If you are looking for a truly unique custom gift this is it! My son loves to travel but is hard to buy for. You can customize the map so it says whatever you want on the compass and other places! I got the walnut frame which looks awesome with the colors on the map.

My son LOVED it! We sat and talked and checked the map for places to travel and places he had been. Since you get pins you could also use it as an ancestry map and place pins where your families came from.

I’m going to get military records to give to my son about his grandfathers so he can see where they were stationed. More pins! Debbie and her crew are fabulous at communicating and creating a really one of a kind gift.

Map came exactly in perfect condition as advertised. Material is very durable, but can be used for push-pin work as well. Price was exceptionally low for this quality product. I did not expect as much quality as I received.

Am having it framed in a very expensive frame to do it justice. Will be placed in a central location. Excellent.

It’s a good priced item and my daughter liked very much. Quality is decent as well. Although I had to trim it a bit to fit inside the frame but I am happy.

I’m very happy with my new world map. I love the classic colors that are not flourescent! My old eyes can see the size of the print on the map. And my kids are intrigued with all the nations’ flags that line the bottom of the map, and have been drawing several of them.

We bought this when our school district started out distance learning this year. I absolutely love it. It’s educational and works well in any room. We have it in our playroom now.

Came in a box that kept it from getting smashed, which I appreciate! They are lightly laminated and very colorful and fun for my kids to look at and enjoy! We bought the USA map with it and we love both!.

I have these in my guest bathroom. They go perfectly with another piece I have no place for in this house but have kept for my next place.

The image and overall quality is great. However because of the low profile framing one panel is slightly twisted so it does not lay flat against the wall. Not a big deal but will be a factor in deciding to order another piece with the thinner frame in the future.

I like the map features but unfortunately had to return because it is not laminated with sturdy enough coating. I was hoping to write on/wipe off with markers as we learn US history this school year.

It is not able to handle that. It is more like a glossy paper finish. No erasing would be possible.

We LOVE THIS! Doesn’t look cheap. Very simple, but elegant. I recommend unpacking and handling carefully, to avoid any bending of the metal. NOW, I need a similar wall sculpture of the Solar System. I have looked on line, but can’t find anything similar.

The quality is great and the color is exactly the picture they advertised. Directions are a little vague. I just did one nail for each. But there are screws attached to the map and I can’t tell if I am supposed to screw those in as well.

Overall I’d recommend!.

This map puts a new twist on teaching Geography. The kids get to see the entire “ring of fire” and the true size of the Pacific! A must have for teachers. We have identification races with dry erase pens and it is a hoot!.

I love this map! It’s great for following the locations in books and historical stories. Large and easy to read, beautiful to look at, the map is wonderful! The only problem I’ve had is that it’s a bit unwieldy because it keeps wanting to roll back up on itself because of the laminate.

On the other hand one of the best things about the map is the lamination, which makes it virtually indestructible. And did I mention this Nat Geo Map is Beautiful?!.

Product is attractive if made properly. First map had small bug laminated into the atlantic ocean, and wrinkles in lamination. Good return policy and people. Secoand map also had small bug laminated in it, this time in alaska, there were also wrinkles in the laminate.

I bought this same product some years ago and the weight of the paper was much better. Needs quality controll and better materials.

It has not been presented yet. It is obvious with packaging, and being rolled, it is good quality, yes I would recommend. I would also have to say it is of good value, too.

Love the design of this map. Europe and Asia are not split down the middle. It’s very attractive.
