I didnt realize the dosing. Because my feral cat Boots is 16lbs. I needed 2 but only ordered 1. I was able to talk to customer care who helped me. He was so bad I ordered 5 more I more for this time 2 in 2 weeks and 2 for my other 2 cats.

He was so bad his number 2 was mostly worms. Since even the first dose he has cleared up and we can tell he is feeling better. It does take a little extra time because the vet must approve the purchase.

But over all shipping was fast. Tuna worked the first time but they all know now what I’m up to so getting them to eat it has been my only real challenge. Very happy with product everything the reviews said.

Over all I’m just so happy hes feeling better. We are about to move 3 hrs away. If anyone knows how to calm him for the trip , that’s my next battle lol.

Good price for good product. This works the best because it’s broad-spectrum. I like that I can order the amount of pills I need. I volunteer at helping to do TNVR (trap neuter vaccinate release) for stray cats in my neighborhood.

I make sure they each get dewormed too so they’re ready to be adopted. & They seem happier & more energetic after a deworming! Thx!.

I was fairly certain our cat had worms but not sure which kind. This medication took care of the problem and within a week, our cat was back to her normal self. eating again and not gagging and coughing! Terrific product!.

It’s really kind of hard to give a review for this product. I bought two boxes, as we have three cats and I figured a second dose might be necessary down the line. The boxes contain 3 tablets. As for the tablets themselves, I tried to feed as suggested by crumbling them into moist food.

Needless to say that didn’t work, cats have ESP, so I was happy to have the second box to try a different tactic. Unfortunately, the second box was empty except for the instructions. No pill bottle, no pills.

Partly my fault, I should have been as picky as usual and rattled both boxes to make sure the pills were there. I thought about returning the product, but how do you return an empty box? And it wasn’t worth the hassle of driving back to the store and trying to explain the situation.

Nevertheless, these packages really should be tamper-proof, just as human medications are. The problem could have originated during the packaging process, but sealing the boxes would be a big help whatever the circumstances.

It would also be nice if the pills were smaller. I’ll order online from a different seller, for the same price, and try again.

So I am usually very bad at writing reviews because I always forget, but I had to leave a review for this pill, it saved our cat and worked better than what the vet provided. About 6 months ago our cat got worms and it was negatively affecting his health, he was so skinny, wasnt as playful as he used to be, and his usually fluffy coat was thinning out and looking very scraggly.

We took him to the vet and paid close to a couple hundred dollars to get him dewormed. Fast forward a month, he wasn’t getting any better and we were so worried we were going to lose him because he lost so much weight.

We made him another vet appointment to be dewormed again but had to wait weeks to be seen. Then my friend (whose cat also had worms at the time) recommended this pill and holy crap! Our cat was back to being playful the very next day, and as time progressed he got better and better.

Now, he’s back to his silly self, he’s gained all his weight back, and his fur is fluffy and shiny again. Could not recommend this product more and we’re so happy to have our boy back to normal!.

My adult male cat had tapeworms; he showed up at our house one day & we took him in; our vet believes he is now about three years old. We saw the telltale signs after he would walk away from an area he had been lying or sitting in.

He ate well but was listless & tired, thin and had diarrhea every time he went to the litter box. I dosed him with one treatment, 1 and 1/2 pills as directed by package based on his age and weight. The way that worked for me was crushing the pill to a very fine powder and mixing that into 1 teaspoon heavy cream.

Then I waited 14 days and dosed him again. After the second treatment we have found no more sign of tapeworm and he has gained enough weight in two months that we can see it just by looking at him. His coat is also more healthy looking and feeling.

The diarrhea is becoming less and less. He is way more active and energetic. So this stuff works. I never new tapeworms could affect them so much but he has had almost a 180 degree turnaround on all of the issues he had before.

100% recommend this product.

I would actually give this product 5 stars for the first dose because I haven’t seen any worms. But the instructions are a little vague and to be honest, I had to go to another online store to look up other peoples opinions on doses for newbies.

It’s odd the instructions are so simple but a little too simple considering the don’t really tell you when to do it again. For us, we followed the weight and dosage suggestions on the bottle & it worked.

However our cat is a relative new rescue and wouldn’t let us weigh her. So it was nerve racking. Knowing what I know now, I would have started with just 1 pill even though she’s big. It would have been less stressful for the whole family being worried all night.

So I’ve seen others say that they couldn’t get their cats to eat it!! I’ve found three ways to dispense the pills to my four cats, one of which was feral when we found him 6 months ago!! So every year around this time (Oct/Nov) my cats and my dog get fleas.

We’ll blame it on weird southern weather. It doesn’t matter what flea medicine I give them, Rx or no prescription, they still end up with fleas, and fleas STILL carry tapeworms, so my cats and dog STILL get worms *insert eye roll here* I feed my four cats separately, one at a time in the bathroom.

I take the tablet and crush it into a powder and mix it a can of wet cat food. I’ve honestly had no issues getting them to eat it like this. However juuuust for arguments sake if you have a particularly boogie cat, you can also, break the tablet into small pieces.

Put all of those small pieces into a child’s medicine dropper with the plunger that you can pull out and put back in, once all the small pieces of the tablet are in the Medicine dropper put the plunger back into the top.

Run warm water into a bowl. following me??? Suck water into the plunger. just a mL or two at a time and let it dissolve the pieces of the tablet, once it’s fully dissolved (less water the better bc it’s less time you have to try to hold down kitty kitty) I take my cats one at a time (always one at a time) into the bathroom, and I shut and lock the door, I sit on the toilet lid and hold my baby on my lap with the medicine dropper ready, and then you just have to time it right, to kinda get the tip in and squeeze it out quickly and they’ll swallow.

My third way is a can of tuna, open it, and again either mix the tablet with a small amount of water to dissolve it or crush it into a powder and mix it very well with the tuna, and put your cat somewhere (I put mine in the bathroom one at a time) alone, with her little tuna wormer and they’ll eat it up.

I read the instruction on the box carefully and gave the recommended dose to my kitten (8weeks old) but then on the tube (I got the gel) at the very bottom it says to not give to kittens that weigh less than 3 pounds (and mine weighs just over 2 pounds).

Why isn’t this information on the box too? Now 24 hours later my kitten is very sick (vomit and diarrhea and no appetite) I am going to have to take her to the emergency vet. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE.

This is a liquid that you add to the cat’s food. It is VERY sweet and my cats detested it. 1 of the 2 cats I gave it to threw it up, so I had to use a medicine syringe to get a 2nd dose down her throat.

And we all know how well that goes with cats. However, it does seem to be effective. Because of the difficulty in administering, I don’t recommend this product.

after first dose in water seems to be working already even though the kitten threw up only one dead worm in it the adult cat has not but really needed it for the new kitten round worms are intestinal and after treatment will some will show up that way usually already dead.

My 11-yr old gun-shy coonhound is petrified of loud noises, so Independence Day is a challenge. Tried all kinds of “calming chews” in the past. At best, they made him sleepy but still afraid, and at worst they contained brewers’ yeast and other apparent allergens that induced ear infections).

HomePet Fireworks contains no such allergens, so it was a last resort. I was admittedly late in dosing him (some fireworks had begun, so he had already started trembling and dove down into the basement.

Tried to administer directly into his mouth, but wasn’t sure how much he ingested since he was already drooling and may have spit some out. So I put drops on his favorite wet food, and he ate it right up.

My 15 year old BSH has responded really well to this. I had some trepidation about adding it to his treatment for joint stiffness, but I am so glad I did. A couple of doses of 5 drops a day added to a liquid treat or paste makes a big difference.

This acts fast, so if he seems especially uncomfortable, I use two doses spaced about half an hour apart, and the result has been exceptional. This is helpful in colder weather, or if he overestimates himself and jumps awkwardly.

Let’s be real, he’s a British Shorthair. Chunky body, proportionately shorter legs. He jumps with all the grace of a World War II tank. Awkward landings are not uncommon. Svelte is simply not in his repertoire.

He does have other joint supplements but those are largely glucosamine/chondroitin/omega 3 based products which take a couple of weeks to start to show positive effects. When we use the Homeopet, we notice an improvement in around a half an hour.

He will settle and purr without repeatedly shuffling and adjusting his paws to ease his position. He seems to be able to flex and stretch better when this is part of his daily treatment. I have really been surprised by the results and I plan to keep this in stock at home now.

I am very happy with this product for anxiety. My 7 year old English Creme Retriever I adopted in August 2021 was a retired breeder dog. She had a lot of fears when she came to me. This is the 3rd home for her as her original owner passed away.

I have been using this wormer for years and find that it is rather effective in getting rid of the worms that plague my cats. The 2 places where I normally buy it have been out for a few months. When I found it on PetEdge I was glad.

I tried this wormer on several dogs and it did nothing. Once I switched to a different brand of wormer (with those same dogs) I seen parasites being expelled. I could not honestly recommend this product to help pets with deworming.

I gave this product yesterday to my kitten at around 1:00pm and this morning she yacked up a whole load of worms so I’d say this product works pretty good. Mixed it in with her wet food.

I have two large cats that are indoor/outdoor and their main job is to keep the rodent population down. Drontal is a once a month wormer that covers both roundworm and tapeworm. I cover the tablets with butter, wrap a cat in a towel, and drop it in; have not seen any rice segments or worms since using Drontal regularly.

Although it may seem pricey, it does its job and it is much easier to give tablets that cover all the parasites, then to give separate tapeworm tabs and liquid wormer together, which has its own costs.

You know they are getting the full dosage too. So the price works out better for us as we have two sizable cats that take two tablets each month. A 50 ct works perfectly for the whole year.

I have 5 outdoor cats, this is great to take care of the inevitable tapeworms that come from eating wild-caught mice and birds. So glad I can count on Valley Vet to have this product.

I think it’s a bit expensive for a dewormer, but it’s the dewormer my rescue uses to do a seven in one. It seems pretty easy on the animals tummies and I usually make sure to do this with an external flea medication to make sure they’re safe inside and out.

I’m becoming interested in using another product for my adult cats which does both internal and external parasites called Advantage Multi, but I think Drontal will be a mainstay in my medicine cabinet for a long time to come.

It was challenging to get the cats to eat the medicine. We ended up pulverizing the tablets and mixing them in raw hamburger. We made sure that the cats were very hungry before we gave them the hamburger mix.

If a cat didn’t eat all of it, we mixed more hamburger into the mix. Within a week the fur on the cats were shiner and they are more energenic.

Great value since I have many cats. The problem is I don’t know how to encourage cats to swallow it. I tried to crash the tablet and give it with the spoon as a mixture with some water. They spilled it out and gave me look like I am the worst anime.

our herd of barn cats are impossible to catch all at one time, so. using a dropper to dose one at a time doesn’t work. I have found that adding to water dish is the perfect way to get them all treated.

you can also add to food but in our case there are a couple of greedy cats that might eat all the food before some of the smaller ones get any. however they all drink water according to their size (weight) so I feel it’s the best way to treat multiple animals easily.

WormEze (piperazine) works great for removing pin worms from cats and dogs. Easy to use in liquid form. Dose based on weight and mixed in a small of water water or milk. This makes sure the critter gets a good dose.

Repeat again after a week ! Very simple and effective!.

Active ingredient is Piperazine (Diethylenediamine). Avoid it if it is listed as an ingredient because it will make your pet sick.

10 week old kitten with roundworms in her stool. I’ve been having a hard time finding a good vet in the area and wanted to get her treated ASAP, so I stopped by Petco on my way home and decided to try this product.

After feeding her the medicine, she seemed significantly better the next day — her belly felt slimmer, and she stopped crying for food 24/7. The mysterious brown marks around her nose diminished completely and her stool was clear of worms within 3-4 days.

I will be de-worming her again on day 14, as instructed. I’m glad I was able to save time and money, and the health of my kitten.

This product saved our kittens lives. The vet wanted to run $400 in tests but never mentioned all kittens need de-wormed. I remember mom doing this to ours when they would get sluggish, vomiting and diarrhea.

My 11month old, healthy kitten just suddenly started projectile vomiting for no particular reason. He coughed up a hairball that morning, but kept on vomitting particularly after eating. I was concerned about the possibility of a blockage but also noticed that he’d eaten a few leaves from the lucky bamboo plant in our house,.

He’s a plant eater so I had gotten rid of all of my plants but forgot this one. He didn’t seem to be otherwise distressed and wanted to eat his food, but he just couldn’t hold it down. Profender used once every three months on our outdoor cat works great! We would treat our cat every three months with Profender & Bravecto and never had any problems. Our vet switched to a monthly topical Revolution Plus and he had an issue with worms.

A topical treatment for tapeworms is just what I need for my barn cats. They eat mice for me, I treat them for tapeworms effectively with a topical. Pilling a barn cat just isn’t an option but applying a topical sure is!.

If you have a cat like mine you have to get Profender. My cat would not take anything by mouth and injections were almost impossible. Thank god for Profender coming up with a topical solution for people like me.

My cat has no issue when I put it on. It has kept my cat very healthy now for 6 months.

This is my favourite puppy and old dog wormer syrup. I soak a small piece of granary bread with the dosage amount and they quickly consume the product with no issues. Almost makes worming a treat to enjoy! Dispenser is ideal for not handling the liquid and makes working out the required volume to weight ratio easy.

Purchased to worm my 4 week old pack of seven Alaskan Malamute pup’s, there was no problem feeding it to them, I just opened their mouths and squirted the wormer directly into each of their mouths. They had no problem with the liquid and keenly swollowed it.

Bought this for my 8 year old dog,every worming tablet I have tried after(and I have tried a lot over the years!) a great struggle to get it down him he has been sick. I used a syringe straight down! He is only a small dog so probably will get enough 3 doses out of it.

I’ve had same experience as other users. Cat won’t take this tablet and ‘sicks’ it up; Only 2 in a pack! I have a professional ‘syringe’ that shoots tablets to back of throat – this did not work; crushed in food – this did not work; (first packet wasted) Tried my expertise with throwing it to back of throat and stroking from chin down neck of cat’s fur (this did not work).

Final chance: bought some fillet steak, injected it into centre of tiny cube and ‘fussy puss-cat’ ate it straight down! Result! Plus cat recovered from ‘dead and dying’ and no vet’s bills incurred!.

The best way to administer the tablet. Hold the cat firmly, tilt head slightly back, place tablet at back of mouth and hold mouth closed. While doing this proceedure gently stroke the cats neck under the chin several times until swallowed.

I don’t have a cat but take several with me when we go on our volunteering holiday, to treat street cats in the resort. Easy to use. Probably not as effective as vet prescribed treatments but definitely more affordable.

My cat of 2 years had a bad reaction to this medicine and needed vet treatment! As soon as it was applied he became floppy and coughing. I’ve used Droncit ever since and never had trouble.

Much easier to use than tablets as cats are notorious ar taking them so owners and animals are very happy. Great.

Mixed them thouroughly with food but cat could smell them and then just walked away. A tablet would have been better

My cat is getting older and seems to have developed some sensitivities. So I had to go through changing her food a few times to like Iams sensitive stomach or purina one for urinary tract. Idk if those are the correct names, but there’s been so many.

I’ve tried the other homeopathic drops on here, but they didn’t make a difference. Tried cat lax and it would only work when I saw her like retching or about to puke and I would give it to her. A few hours later she would throw up again.

So I gave her a dose of the drops around 1pm today and left for work. Upon my return around 7:30, I see this huge hairball and I’m ELATED because I could see when she vomits she would not let it up. I hope this continues to work.

After the second dose I could hear her stomach making sounds, but she appeared to say thanks Mom and is sleeping calmly.
