I am 64 I have taken care of my skin since I can remember. The second my sister and I had any signs of a blemish our mother took us both to the dermatologist. I wasn’t as lucky to have the perfect flawless skin that my OLDER sister STILL has! I will say that with LineBLURfectur Primer I may still have a chance to look AS good as her! I got this for my wife to test and my younger daughter was asking her mum what it does. After her mum explained it, she exclaimed that it was Wrinkle Putty. We had to laugh because in some ways it is.

This is a nicely packagedbranded product and has a premium look to it. It come in standard screw top, squeezy tube, and is easy to dispense. The cream is more like a gel, than a bog standard cream, which my wife finds easy to apply.

The main contnet are NIA114, Evodia Fruit Extract, Vitamin E, Verbascum Thaspus Flower, and Optical Blurring Microspheres. It also didnt dry her skin out at all, which it shouldnt. It also didnt leave any greasy feeling to the skin. This may be due to the fact that a little goes a long way. Which is good, given the cost.

My wife felt this worked well with makeup, with it going on very well on top of it, but performed even better without any makeup. This is a great, if expensive, product for covering those fine lines and lasts long enough for a days work.

If then going out in the evening, youd have to reapply. If you can bite the bullet on the initial cost, then theres plenty of use out of the 30ml tube. I hope you found this review photos interesting, informative and useful.

This is a decent primer overall. It goes on smooth and has a minty/menthol-like smell. The smell isn’t super strong, but it did burn a little when I put it on the drier parts of my skin, such as under my eyes.

My foundation applied nicely over it, but it didn’t help with the longevity at all. In fact, throughout the day, my foundation began to break apart around my mouth and nose area. By the end of the day, there was hardly any foundation left on those areas.

It was pretty strange, it just evaporated. This primer was the only new product I was using, at the time, so that had to be it. Plus, I really didn’t see any improvement with my wrinkles. That was a disappointment considering it has “anti-wrinkle” right there in the name of the product.

So I won’t be repurchasing this one anytime soon. There are better products out there, that’s for sure.

I decided to try this primer out a few years and found myself using it ever since. However, I love primers and always love using different primers for different areas of my face. With this primer, it’s more like a moisturizer, so it does great with hydrating and plumping up your face.

However, I didn’t really notice a huge difference when it came to my pores and fine lines. Still, I love the way this primer feels when I put it on my face, so I use it as my Step 1: Base Primer. Once it dries, I go ahead and use my under eye and blurring primers.

Ever since I started doing this, I feel like my makeup just looks fresher and healthier. I would definitely recommend this primer for someone who is worried about moisturizing/hydrating — although I’m not so sure I’d recommend it as your one and only primer if you’re really concerned about hiding any fine lines or pores.

I have combo skin-use a retinol that causes some dryness but I’m naturally greasy and I live in the south where it’s hot and muggy. While this primer works decently well with a mattifying foundation, I found that there was still product settling into my lines.

I tried a more hydrating foundation, and the makeup slid off by mid day. I’m sure it would work on someone with dry or normal skin, it was a miss for me. It exacerbated the very issue it sets out to fix.

I recommend it alone to give the skin a hydrated glow if you’re not planning on putting other liquids on top.

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes and i was blown away. I have pretty normal skin but in some spots can get really dry, this primer was a little thicker than i normally use but once i got it actually ON my skin it felt wonderful.

it doesnt get dry or flakey. Once i used the anti- agless foundation over top HOLY CRAP. it went on SO smooth and the coverage is perfect. i have a few dark spots that it covered perfectly. i work 9am-9pm some days and this foundation stays on ALL day.

usually i have to re-apply in between jobs and with this i dont have to!I’ve never really used Cover Girl products before so when I received a voxbox I was excited to give them a shot. On first pump the primer felt really thick to me.

Now this line is a co-lab with Olay so it makes sense the products would be moisturizing but it felt a lot thicker and heavier on my hand then normal primer. When I warmed it up and applied to my face it seemed to absorb quickly and evenly and felt nice and moisturizing.

It didn’t ultimately feel as heavy on as I was expecting. Although I would prob still prefer a primer that feels lightweight and like it’s really creating a smooth palate to work on. My makeup seemed to apply and stay in place as normal, and wore well throughout the day, so it does accomplish the task and perform well as a primer.

I just wasn’t in love with the consistency and probably wouldn’t seek it out to buy it. It felt more like a moisturizer than primer to me. I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

To me there’s no point in this product. It has no sunscreen and it’s not very smoothing, it’s more like a glorified expensive moisturizer. If they want to call it anti-aging they should add a sunscreen to the formula.

I bought it to try during the 21-day sale, but it proved useless; it didn’t make my makeup look better, nor did it protect my skin from the sun. This primer also went bad on me before the 12 months ‘after opening’ was up! It started to smell extremely rancid after about 7 months, so I chucked it out.

Waste of money and very disappointing, as it was stored appropriately away from light and heat. In the morning I apply a vitamin C serum, Perricone MD eye cream and moisturizer, then my Murad SPF30 sunscreen primer which is a blurring silicone-type primer with skincare benefits built in.

It’s fantastic either alone or under foundation. Now that’s what I call an excellent multi-benefit face primer. It’s also at Ulta!.

Goes on smoothly, a little goes a very long way and it provides a tacky, well moisturized base for cosmetics. I use this after my Pacifica tonics and serums and Confidence in a Cream moisturizer. I apply 1 pump to my face and neck and I my skin appears smoother instantly.

I even sometimes use this alone for no makeup days because it does blur minor imperfections and fills in large pores beautifully with NO BREAKOUTS! Who could ask for more? Stay beautiful!!.

For the price, I am disappointed with how much product it took for the application of this serum. I thought it would be more like their previous “Feel the Moment” primer serum which went on so smoothly and felt hydrating ( Please bring that serum back!!).

This one was a bit on the watery side and did not spread nicely, so took quite a bit of product to cover face. I’ll probably keep and try to work with it to hopefully see the effects. Whether I reorder will be based on those results.

This serum is very light and reminds me of gel foundation. It doesn’t feel sticky or makes the skin dull. After applying this booster, my skin becomes very velvety smooth. The product itself makes the face appear moisturised and sophisticated.

With a rigorous use – twice a day, I’ve noticed that the fine lines have faded away. Even if it’s not clearly visible, you may notice slight changes. I’m sure it could make a difference in just 21 days as claimed.

I picked this product up around month ago and firstly I fell in love with it. Pros: 1) It gives good, sensible moisture during the day without leaving sticky residue on skin which I really liked. 2)Application is easy and very smooth.

3) Holds certain makeup brands and products (liquid foundation, blush) quite well during day. 4) 50 ml lasts forever even when used daily Cons: 1) Not co-operates well with waterproof foundation or liquid blushes 2) Sometimes can clog skin 🙁 3) No SPF included.

🖤 This primer has been a must have for all makeup lovers for a couple of years now. With ingredients such as Koolin Clay and White Charcoal, it is known to help absorb oil and leave a blurred out finish.

🖤 This primer is reasonably priced (£9) and personally I only use the smallest amount through my t-zone, as this is where i can get a little shinier. 🖤 Although this looks bright white, it works on all skin tones as it goes on colourless.

I wouldn’t recommend to use this all over the face if you don’t have oily skin. Focus on the areas that need blurring out. 🖤 When I applied it to the cheek area on the side of my nose I did find that there was some texture after I applied my foundation.

This is probably because my skin is a little drier there. 🖤When applied down the centre of my nose and a little on the chin, it really does prevent shine, and especially when the weather is hot and humid as it keeps the makeup from melting or looking shiny.

I wanted to try a new primer, and I specifically wanted to look at what e. l. f. had to offer. What drew me initially was the appearance of the product; I really liked it. I also was glad there were a variety of e.

l. f. primers to choose from. However, the feel of the product was thicker than I had expected / than I had used before, and it felt oily when I applied it. The next thing I did was to smell the product, and I was shocked by the scent.

It resembled the smell of chemicals. The scent is so harsh that it made me instantly worry that the product may be harmful, even though I was pretty confident it would not, based on e. l. f. ‘s solid reputation.

The primer definitely grabs onto concealer and foundation and holds them securely – but a little too well because it makes it difficult to blend the makeup I applied. I plan to use the rest of the primer since I can’t afford to be wasteful, but I definitely will not purchase it again.

Even though my experience with this specific product has been negative, I will continue to use and try other e. l. f. products. I rarely ever leave negative reviews, but the smell of this product is so bad that I want other people to know about it before they decide to make the same purchase.

I’m 52 with dry, sensitive skin. I have followed the LG hype for many years and finally decided to try it. There is nothing spectacular about this product. In fact, it did not do its “job” with the powedered foundation as it wore right off exposing my uneven redness.

My normal morning lotion and foundation work and its stays on all day at work. Now I’m stuck with LG products that I have opened and used and won’t be wearing any longer than I have. Highly disappointed in all of the products I ordered.

It is smooth and takes awhile to absorb and does not take a lot. It has a nice pump dispenser and has a good quantity in the tube. If you don’t wear foundation this might be a good product for you.

I had never really been a believer in primers, and felt they were just another product that the cosmetic companies tried to convince us we needed to increase revenue. That was until I tried this one.

I have tried others from some of the top names, and found them a useless waste of money, but the Elemis Pro-Collagen Primer is a game changer. It is lovely and light to apply, and has a soft creme-gel texture, which smooths over the skin well, with a slight cool feel.

It isn’t heavy or sticky, and you can apply your foundation straight away. I have found that if you use too many skincare products underneath, it can pill when you try to apply your foundation, but that is easily sorted by not using layer upon layer of skincare.

I use the Elemis Pro-Collagen range, which is lovely for my 50 something combination/dryish skin, and this fits in perfectly with that. It does make my foundation go on well, stay for longer and look all together fresher.

Pores are slightly less obvious, but bear in mind nothing will get rid of them or close them permanently. Lines are also softened, but not removed. It is expensive, but you don’t need much per application.

All in all, an excellent product, which I highly recommend – and if it can convert me to a primer, then it must be good!.

I’ve been using Lancome products for decades. I was running low on their primer, saw this on an Ulta points special, and figured I’d give it a shot after reading reviews (while not expecting to see much difference, if any).

Day one, I can see and feel a highly significant difference. For reference I’m 59 with very large pores and fine lines, but they all become nearly invisible when this is topped off with Lancome Teint Idole foundation, and the effect lasted all day.

Truthfully, the Lancome primer can’t even hold a candle to this one. Yes, this is very pricey even compared to Lancome, but it takes very little for each use so I’m sold, it’s worth every cent. It works well with my Lancome Visionnaire and Genifique serums and moisturizers too.

I will definitely buy again, and try some of their other products as well since I’m so pleased with this one. Highly recommended, extremely happy customer here!.

I am 53 years old and I bought this because the older I am getting the worse my skin is looking … especially my large pores. I have tried SO MANY products to improve my skin but with minimal results at best.

I have Very oily skin with 30+ yr old pores and this is the most effective primer I’ve tried. My tips: • Skin prep is key! I use pixi glow tonic, vitamin C serum, and sunscreen beforehand, and let them sink into the skin for 3-5 minutes before applying primer.

This can prevents layers from balling up. • I use a stick foundation (Mented) and buff in (don’t swipe) with a dense foundation brush. Before applying the foundation, I spray the brush with a matte setting spray.

• After foundation, blush, and cream bronzer application, I apply my setting powder and spray my face with matte setting spray. My foundation doesn’t budge for at least 7+ hours and I use the revlon oil absorbing roller for touch ups.

I had heard so many amazing things about this primer through a girlfriend, so I decided to try out a sample size. I hadn’t used a primer in a while since I hadn’t really found one I had liked. Trying it out for the first time I wasn’t sure about the consistency but after I saw how it made my face look smooth and my pores look smaller I was instantly interested.

After completing my whole set of makeup I loved the way the primer changed my look. I think this specific primer works well for people with oily skin. They also have a lightweight and a hydrating primer for those who may have drier skin.

Overall, I liked this product so much I went out and purchased the regular size bottle. I would definitely recommend.

I’ve personally never encountered a Revlon product that I’ve had an issue with (thus far). So, considering all of my past great experiences – I was excited to try this! I’ve never seen nor even heard of this primer before.

The formula itself is a really light, ivory-colored gel with a very scant silicone-feeling to it. In order to get the primer to dispense from the pump, one must forcibly push the bottom button in an upwards manner.

I found this to be incredibly inconvenient, as well as a challenging task for someone with long nails. There is also a separate plastic insert for the output pores; and I highly recommend keeping this piece around, so the primer doesn’t dry in the pores and clog the dispensing mechanism.

Remarking on its actual application – I thought that the method of applying the product directly to my skin via the dispenser, provided for a nice cooling sensation. The primer was also very compatible with my skin, as it blended in right away.

It actually did give me an overall blurred look by completely filling in my pores. I thought it to create an all-around smooth base for my following base products. As I applied foundation overtop, I didn’t experience any dilemmas or obstacles.

I am kind of disappointed with this product. Revel on is usually a good choice for a drug store beauty brand but this is not one of my favorite products of theirs. First of all it’s really hard to dispense the primer from the bottle.

It is a light ivory color product that is similar tri the texture of pore professional which I liked. It does blue and fill pores, however I found that makeup did not sit right on top of it. It made my make up peel and look blotchy.

It has a sillicone tip applicator that your supposed to used to press it into the skin but I found this to be too difficult. The product went on better using my hands.

I tried the Revlon Youth FX Fill + Blur Primer for Face/Neck and I know I’m going to be using this more and trying different techniques with it. I feel like if I get the right technique down, this will probably work pretty well.

It comes in a tube, with a special applicator end and I love both the ease-of-use and the design of the tube. It seem really well thought out and works really well. When you squeeze it out, it’s the consistency of silicone caulking and reminds me of that, except it’s a light skin color instead of clear.

It’s thick out of the tube, but smoothes easily over your face and seems to blend, or absorb, into your skin and once I had smoothed it on, I couldn’t tell I was wearing it anymore, as it seemed almost invisible to me after that.

I have only tried it once, and I have mixed feelings about it, so far. My biggest concern was my eye area, because I’m so tired of my eye wrinkles, making my eyeliner “skip” across my eyes causing my eyeliner to become a dotted line.

I will say that this did fix that problem & my eyeliner did not “skip” across my wrinkles, and it did glide on smoothly, although it seemed like it took several coats (more than usual) to actually make my eyeliner “stick” to my eyelids, and I’m not sure if that was a result of the primer or not.

How ever, I am pleased with the effects on my eyes overall, since it did alleviate my main problem. With that said, it doesn’t seem to hide wrinkles, only fill so, in my opinion, you’ll need to use a foundation over this if you want to hide your wrinkles.

Bottom line is I would recommend this product, but I would do so with explanation of what to expect.

This is the second product I have tried from Elizabeth Mott and I can’t tell you how in love I am! I knew after i tried the mascara that this product would be good. Just to clarify I bought this primer in the illuminating style and not matte.

I have combination but I do get redness and it helped tone some of that down before I even put on my foundation. It helped smooth out my makeup pretty well and a little goes a long way with this primer.

Made my makeup last longer and look even better! Don’t over do it. please. lol.

I purchased this product because I was in the market for a tinted moisturizer and have never tried any before, this was too good of a deal to pass up without at least trying. For reference, I have the most porcelain skin I have ever seen in my life so nearly everything that I purchase is too dark or turns orange on my skin.

I have two tried and true foundations, one from Smashbox and the other from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I have a dry combination skin type for reference. I wanted to love this product and it was promising at first but within the first few minutes, it was already oxidizing on my skin.

It oxidized so bad that I had an entirely different color on my face than my hairline or the rest of my body. It looked as if I had gotten a bad spray tan. It also made my super dry skin feel heavy, clogged, and oily.

I will also add, that I have contact dermatitis which is a form of eczema in which I have very sensitive skin and can only use certain soaps and cosmetics but had heard many good things about Tula. Unfortunately, this product also made my face start burning, similar feeling to a sunburn, when it was on my skin and I washed it off immediately.

I know that I am not the norm for cosmetic buyers but in case someone out there has a similar skin type, I wanted to share my experience.

I finally took the plunge and ordered this product and the Tula Cult Classic face cleanser. I officially am sold on Tula products and this one in particular is my favorite! I will never buy another brand primer! At 31 years old I am noticing my skin is not as firm and supple as it used to be, my pores are more noticeable and I am starting to get the fine lines in my laugh lines.

I have tried numerous primers before from drug store to Ulta Brand to The POREfessional and none of them have wowed me like this Tula primer. This is a tinted primer that is activated when applied to your skin.

It matches perfectly with my skin without even looking like I put a colored product on my face. It is so lightweight, my pores are now invisible, makes my makeup last all day, and makes my skin feel so soft and nourished.

I have not been using it long enough to see the results it claims to have but I whole heartedly believe I will with consistent use. Do not hesitate, if you need a good primer get this Tula Filter Primer now!.

After great reviews I bought it. It is going back. There is nothing about this that makes it so hyped. I wore it multiple times, with different foundations/tinted moisturizers. On one day I noticed foundation on everything I touched (after touching my face).

It didn’t help foundation stay on. All my other primers including hydrating primers have done a better job of reducing transfer/slip. I have redness on my nose and cheeks. This primer didn’t make a slightest difference.

Smashbox redness primer is even better than this. As for blurring, I did a half face comparison with cover fx blurring primer. and Tula left my face with texture whereas cover fx made it super smooth.

The color is a grey white when it comes out but turns orange on the skin. If you do not apply it carefully you will end up with orange streaks is you are Snow White pale. But when applied well, my nc10 foundation didn’t reveal any extra orange.

The texture of the product was ok, possibly hydrating, but that’s about all. This has been so hyped I’d love to know who actually bought it, and how it worked for them. Because for me, a complete fail.

Skin type: pale, dry combo, mild eczema and rosacea, 40’s.

I was super excited to receive this product, because I have only heard amazing thing about Tula. I have normal to dry skin so a pore filling primer is not typically my go to. I enjoyed the scent and I loved the texture, it was a gel like consistency.

I loved the idea of trying something with probiotics because having skincare infused with makeup is super important to me, having good skin is essential for great makeup application. My issue with this product is how it reacts with my other products.

I have tried it with 3 foundations and tinted moisturizer and it doesn’t work well with them. It pills and makes the foundation gather and it does not look good. I would only recommend using this product for when you’re only wearing concealer or no face makeup at all.

For that reason I can’t see myself using it that much and I can’t recommend it.

I received the Tula Primer as a free item in exchange for my review and was truly delighted to get it. I have combination oily skin and my makeup often doesn’t last until the end of the day, which a primer can help with.

I really like the packaging- has a pump to dispense product. The primer doesn’t have much of a scent at all and has a runny, texture similar to a moisturizer. It absorbed quickly and didn’t leave a sticky residue.

I only used 1 pump for my whole face. The formula left my skin hydrated and plump, but didn’t notice the velvety soft focus as described on the box. Overall, it’s a nice primer that could be used as a moisturizer.

I didn’t notice any firming but I only used it a couple weeks so perhaps it would over time.

I got this product from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. It’s the first time I’ve ever used a primer and a Tula product. I don’t often wear makeup but now that things are opening up I’m starting to more.

I washed my face, exfoliated, serum and moisturizer before applying. I then applied my foundation and the rest of my makeup. I like the smell of the product and how a little goes a long way. My makeup seemed to last long without looking cakey.

I did notice a crease in my lines by the end of the day but that could have been my fault for using too much makeup. The only con I have is, it would be nice to have spf in it. I guess most people have it in their moisturizer so that would probably be why.

Was doubting to buy this primer at first, because I have tried many primers before, and never actually ended up incorporating them into my makeup routine as I never really saw a difference in using them.

My pores have been very bad lately, especially around my nose which has been very dry and on my chin. I wanted to create a new skincare routine as I also was getting some chin acne and other random pimples around my mouth.

I have also been seeing my pores get worse when I wear foundation, as they just clog up straight away. I bought this primer together with the moisturiser. Honestly, I am shook. This primer has made all of my pores invisible, and my makeup just glides on top of it without actually moving the primer or moisturiser around my face.

My skin looks like porcelain and feels so clean and protected when I am wearing makeup. I wish there was a bigger bottle of this product, but you don’t necessarily need to use a lot as it spreads very well.

I can’t believe this primer makes such a difference to how my skin looks, and SERIOUSLY NO PORES WHAT SO EVER. Still shook, as I’ve tried so many primers. Thank you Ordinary for this great product, I don’t think I’ll ever use another one again.

Will be buying this again!.

I originally bought this about 2 years ago when going through a rough time (regular insomnia, very high stress job) and my skin was really beginning to show its age (late 40s). No product is going to cure the kind of lifestyle abuse I was giving my skin, but it definitely immediately helped smooth out finer wrinkles, pores, general textural unevenness, and even helped blend some redder patches.

It gives a little bit of a glow also. Like someone else said, milky. Flash forward two years: I started using it again last week on a film shoot. So great! Used same tube I bought two years ago — it was still going strong.

Held the makeup on through a long day; got my first powder touch-up about 7 hours in. It really smooths things out, plumps it up and gives a slight, very natural glow through a matte foundation.

My skin may get really dry in the winter and, to be honest, I’m not really into primers, as I use my moisturiser as a base instead. Although The Ordinary claims that this primer locks moisture in, I can’t tell for sure that I felt my skin maintaining its moisture due to its use, because I am really loyal to my hydration routine.

I had some bad experience with silicone based products in the past (dry patches, breakouts) and I was a little skeptic about this one, but indulged in it anyway. It glides on and your skin will feel silky, as with any silicone products, truth be told.

You see, all silicone based polymers are too large for the skin to absorb, so they leave behind this silky/slippery layer. 💎DoItRight In the beginning, I didn’t see any noteworthy difference in my skin.

I don’t have such a big issue with pores anyway. Then, my aesthetician suggested I wait 10 mins before applying foundation and it really worked! Skin looked indeed very smooth. 💎ExtraDuration? I don’t think it made any difference in prolonging my makeup.

Nevertheless, there was a certain blurring effect, even though I noticed some slight build-up on the spots where I hadn’t waited for it to dry totally. you have to let it rest before foundation, it’s true! 💎WouldIRepurchase? Regarding the price, probably yes, but on the other hand, I wasn’t so thrilled and I had received so much positive feedback on it, that it was a little disappointing to discover that it’s just ok.

I think it would be great for oily/combination skins!!!.

For perspective, I am caucasian with mature skin that is normal to dry and tends to be sensitive. As I’m older, I use multiple products in my daily routine because layering your skin care products is the only way to go.

So, I at least use a Moisturizer beneath this if not serum as well at the bare minimum. I’ve read reviews in the past that have complained that the texture is dry or odd, and I can imagine if you used this product on bare, dry skin, you may not have that moisturized feeling you would obtain from, say, a moisturizer.

But that’s not the purpose of this product. Anthelios 50 is an anti-aging primer with sunscreen. And it meets these goals admirably. It’s an effective chemical sunscreen that has a transparent color (no white cast) and a primer with a thicker texture that allows it to sit invisibly atop the skin to create a blurring effect to mute imperfections.

It makes me think of a silicone-like coating that seems like it seals in my moisturizer. I use it before makeup if I’m wearing any but most often alone with a touch of Jane Iredale powder on my shiny spots and lip gloss.

I never have to worry about kabuki face or those horizontal white lines of deposited sunscreen I get on my neck from my other sunscreens. Until the FDA gets its $£it together and allows the superior sunscreen ingredients they’ve been using in Europe for the last decade into the US, this is a great alternative.

I really like this primer/sunscreen. It leaves a nice, blurred, matte finish without drying you out. It’s a great makeup primer too. I use it alone on the days I don’t wear makeup and it hides a lot of imperfections.

The only issue I have and why I didn’t give it 5 stars, is that as you use the tube, it gets harder to squeeze out the product. It’s pretty thick. I wind up cutting the top off with scissors to use what is left, which can be a lot.

It sticks to the sides and bottom of the tube. I then have to store the cut bottle in a plastic bag or it dries out. If I don’t do this I would probably throw away half the product.

I bought this based off the reviews and must say I’m not impressed. First off it’s so thick it doesn’t even come out of the tube easily. It smooths over the face nicely after it melts a bit making you think oh, this is nice! Then as you put makeup on it starts pilling up and looks awful! The first time I had to wash my face and start over and the second time I used less and it didn’t pill but my makeup looked awful and splotchy.

so I had to wash my face again! All of my skincare is this brand and I even asked a question if it works well over the double repair with sunscreen moisturizer, answer was yes, so not sure why this isn’t working for me! I will keep trying with different foundations and see how it goes but as of right now it’s not the best I’ve used!.

I was furious with the first application. The consistency and tackiness was wretched. I went back and read reviews/directions. SHAKING IT UP IS THE EQUIVALENT OF NIGHT AND DAY! Before giving a bad review, make sure you as the user, have exhausted all options.

I previously worked in a cosmetic, dermatology type atmosphere. I had the opportunity to test products and procedures that were being used around the world. The #1 issue is UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS. People want to believe that one product will be the holy grail.

the equivalent of The Fountain of Youth. A product or procedure that is going to take off 30 years worth of sun damage and aging. THERE IS NO SUCH MIRACLE! This serum by itself will not turn back the hands of time.

If you set your expectations too high, you are going to be disappointed in most anything you try. Sun damage, enlarged pores, etc. did not occur overnight, it took years to develop the damage you see in the mirror today.

Aside from the incorrect product photos (pink color versus what you will receive which is a yellow/brown color)->THIS IS A GREAT RETAIL PRIMER! BUT ONLY IF YOU HAVE REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS! Get yourself on a good skin care regimen, stick with it and over time you will discover the products that work best for you.

Too Faced always comes through with the adorable packaging. They are absolutely by far my top favorite High End Brand because of the fact I have yet to come across a product of theirs that isn’t awesome! The Too Faced Plump & Prime Face Plumping Primer Serum smells absolutely amazing but don’t worry about it being too strong because it’s not.

The scent is super light and clean smelling! After applying a pump or two on the back of my hand I apply the primer on my face and it instantly soaks right into the skin and leaves my skin feeling supple, plump, and refreshed.

I like the fact that it leaves a light tacky feeling on the skin to give your foundation something to stick on to. I noticed that I like the results to my makeup more when I put on thick moisturizer the night before and then in the morning when doing my makeup I go in straight with the Too Faced Plump & Prime Face Plumping Primer Serum and skip the moisturizer step.

I do this because the primer already is a serum too all in one and gives me the perfect amount of hydration while also priming me giving me the perfect canvas to start off with! I noticed the pores around my nose are almost invisible and the lines under my eyes are filled in to being non-existent.

I think every girl can appreciate this products when it gives you a three in one where it Primes, plumps up your skin, & helps smooth away the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles! I have also noticed after only 2 1/2 weeks of using this product that my cheeks and areas around my face are noticeably more plump and my skin bounces back just the way youthful skin should do! Any way I can keep my skin looking and feeling youthful and healthy I will keep doing whatever that is that helps with that! I highly recommend this and will definitely be adding this primer serum to my ride or die product list and make sure I stock up way before I run out! You can’t go wrong with a primer and serum all in one.

Too Faced has spoiled us with yet another perfect item!.

I don’t understand all the hateful reviews. I purchased my bottle at Ulta in the store and while it is a peachy color and has a smell that is neither floral (thank goodness as I am sensitive to perfume) nor herbal, it’s just a kind of organic smell, can’t really describe it, I would not say it was awful.

What I do know is that thankfully it does NOT have aloe in it which everyone seems to think is a miracle cure for skin, but I am allergic to aloe. I was out in the sun too much yesterday at the pool and two applications of this calmed the burn and I woke up with healed skin.

No pain, no peeling. I am 59, I have wrinkles, NOTHING is going to erase them, but this really does make my skin smooth and less dry and it’s my go to moisturizer and oh, no blackheads, because I still get those and this stuff does not clog my pores.

Read the ingredients and you can understand why it smells the way it smells. I am so glad there is no added perfume in this.

The Smoothing Primer Serum is the perfect product to use as the base of my makeup. I like long lasting complexion formulas and this serum both extends wear and makes waterproof foundation less drying on my face.

I don’t have big pore issues, but it does a decent job at smoothing mine; there are certainly better primers out there for this purpose and the impact on fine lines and wrinkles is minimal. It’s a silicone based primer, which I personally prefer, but I know people who hat this texture.

I wouldn’t specifically call this primer lightweight, but it never pilled under makeup nor felt heavy or sticky on my skin. I definitely appreciate the extra sun protection, although I clearly don’t get SPF 30 from the tiny amount I apply.

I don’t like to use many products in the morning, just toner and sunscreen, so the extra antioxidants in my primer are also welcomed.

I was surprised how much I liked this. I use it under the tinted daily moisturizer & it does amazing stuff to smooth out my very prominent crow’s feet and make the tinted finish more long-lasting & uniform without having to resort to the full-blown foundation (ugh).

If you’ve got an oily t-zone or breakout issues, this might not be your product, but with a little powder dusted over the top it hits the perfect balance for me so far (I’ve got combo skin & usually powder makes me look like a dusty cadaver unless it’s super humid).

The price is on the higher side for the size of the tube, but not insane. We’ll see how often I have to buy it (a little does go a fairly long way) and how it holds up in peak summer heat, but it’s pretty promising!.

GREAT for dry skin. Never ordered this product on my own due to the inclusion of sunscreen, which my skin hates. Received as a free gift, so gave it a whirl. Face still hates the sunscreen, but it likes everything else about this product.

Only takes a pea-sized amount to create a smooth, soft canvas for makeup application. Hydrating without turning greasy or shiny. Unfortunately, sunscreen of all types irritates my face, and gives it a blotchy appearance.

Would definitely buy a SUNSCREEN-FREE version of this!!.

Best primer out there. Im 52 and i find less is more when it comes to make up and this is perfect! It stays put all day leaving a lovely glow and tightens the skin smoothing it out wahey! My skin also feels so fresh and clean! I dont know what youve created jess but congrats its a winner First time ive used a roller and its genius!! It glides like a dream.

I have always been scared to buy a ‘dewy’ foundation as I wasnt sure if the look would suit me / would just slide off my face! This primer allows me to achieve a dewy look as I layer my foundation over the top without changing what I love about my usual base too much! It becomes perfectly tacky (not too much/ not too little) which I have found has held my base throughout the day well.

I also love using it on its own which helps achieve the ‘clean girl look. ’ All round obsessed!! X.

Whoah miracles do happen!! Its superb. At 51 finding less is more this is perfect! My skin feels and looks alive and super fresh, better than it has done in like since forever! It does everything it says and then some.

Smooths out my lines better than the creams i use. its simply amaaaazing. The roller is genius! And it lasts all day. Thankyou so much xx.

I used the primer without makeup, this was the first time I used it. Although I can’t rate it with makeup just yet I thought it went on very easily on top of my Honest Moisturizer. I feel like it helped control the oil and made my skin feel smoother.

I was a little hesitant to try because my family is allergic to celery but topically doesn’t seem to be an issue for me. I will write another review when I try it with foundation or tinted moisturizer.

Currently trying to decide on either Honest Company or Thrive since I’m trying both brands out. I used to use Elta MD based on a recommendation of Plastics for preventing skin cancer.

I love Thrive’s products and what they stand for so I was super excited to move all my products to this brand. When I tried this primer, the results were instant. My pores appeared smaller, skin was less shiny, and overall complexion looked even.

The next day I woke up with a huge white head on my cheek. While I do have large pores and oily skin, I never have break outs so this was super weird. I thought maybe it was a coincidence. I used it again and the next day woke up with another huge white head.

I didn’t use it for a few days to see if my skin calmed down and it did. I tried using the primer again last night and woke up today with 3 huge white heads so it’s official that this primer is the culprit and I’m super sad about it.

Not sure why my skin is reacting this way but I’m guessing the way it’s able to achieve the matte look with smaller pores is essentially by clogging them however I have other blurring primers that my skin reacts better to.

I have extremely oily skin even in my 50’s. I have been searching for a primer to keep my oiliness to a minimum. I found an amazing one but unfortunately it is not with Thrive. Thrive Blurring Primer enhanced the oil on my face and enlarged my pours.

I ran out of the “amazing” primer and thought I would try Thrive again. My face feels like I washed it in oil. If anyone is interested my forever primer will be Hourglass. I’m going to stick to the brightening eye shadows with Thrive Causemetics and nothing more.
