20 Best Wrist Wraps Powerlifting (2022 Updated)

For the past year I have been doing strength and cardio exercises that include body weight. As someone who was extremely obese I was very out of shape I could put almost no weight on my wrists. I had a lot of trouble doing simple bodyweight exercises because my wrist couldn’t take the load.

Ever since I used the wraps I can get through my exercise routine with no pain and I feel like I’m getting better results each session!.

Iornbull has never disappointed me. The customer service, quality of product and delivery time is always top quality. The quality of the knee sleeves and wrist wraps are excellent. The knee sleeves provides great support and comfort when performing squats and deadlifts and the wrist wraps provides excellent support in the bench press and squat movements.

I have a thing for wrist wraps. I have many of them from many brands but I have to say the Iron Bull Strength are the most confortable, with a great stability that you can find on the market.

Have a good feel when properly wrapped around bar, but are very difficult to get a good wrap around the bar by yourself and can require the spotter to wrap them for you for a good fitment (this is more about the type of wraps they are than the quality of the straps).

Overall the quality is good they feel sturdy under weight although i havent gone over 405. The only quality issue ive seen on them so far is the white rubberized coating on the stars and stripe is coming off.

Of an overall assessment i would say they are good straps for the money but hind sight is 2020 and i would look for some figure 8 straps instead.

I was losing reps during rows b/c my wrist/forearm grip gave out before my lats did. These get me those few extra reps. Thanks DMoose. The length seems adequate. I’m not a big fan of using lifting aids b/c I think they hamper stability mucles, but my grip was hampering my lat gains and batwings > big forearms.

This my 3rd DMoose product, their stuff nice quality and fairly priced. I’ve been buying the blue color scheme b/c nooone I lift w/ uses blue so we know whos is whos, and the colors on each item have been consistent.

I have been lifting for about 2 years now and i have never used a lifting strap. All i did was use my grip and boy was that hard. Then i finally got one of these because everybody seemed to recommend me to get a strap to improve my lifts.

First of all, if you want to increase the weight youre lifting dramatically then i would definitely recommend getting this one. I have been deadlifting 225lbs for the past 6 months and i thought i have reached a plateau so i needed to ear more and do some powerlifitng programs but when i started using these straps, in only a week, my deaflift went from 225 to 365lbs which is unbelievable! This specific strap is just great.

It doesnt hurt my hand and iit feels high quality. I would definitely recommend!.

I also have Harbinger straps in my gym bag and i like how sturdy the material is on both. These wraps fit around my small wrists really well and feel mostly comfortable. I haven’t figured out how best to wear wrist wraps with a smart watch yet.

The watch wrist gets wrapped a bit more awkwardly but it doesn’t really seem to impact too much.

I’m a small person with small wrists but these did the job just fine. Used to experience some pain during and after lifting but these have reduced it significantly. Only issue is that the velcro messes up the material of the wraps, although this is an aesthetic issue and the actual performance of the product isn’t impacted.

I’ve used these for years, they last me about a full year before needing replacement. Usually that is due to heavy use and loss of shape/elasticity. Definitely increase my load with these for all my push/pull lifts.

Only downfall is the stitching around the Velcro wears quickly. Start noticing threading within a week. Before i use the first time i reinforce with stitching. Needle and thread nothing fancy i don’t even know how to sew.

But one time and it will last the life of the straps. This is just expected with these kinds of straps. I still wouldn’t use any other kind but these.

Probably the best wrist support I’ve used for tendinitis. I do CrossFit and Pilates/yoga so I kids r want one of the weightlifting ones that are very restrictive. I find I can still have the support and workout with a range of movement with this one.

Recommend to spend that extra money for the best.

I run a gardening business and like to get in the gym after work. I found that even with the weight training, my wrists and left elbow needed extra support. Not only are these products great looking (unlike others in the market), they provide more than adequate support for everything I need to do in a day.

it works. i wear it all the time now and it’s been great. I am now looking at the ankle support as I am sure it will solve my issue with plantar fasciitis.

I have tried pretty much all the wrist straps over the years and the VersaGripps are the best ones out there for comfort, ease of use, and grip strength. I was browsing eBay looking for a new set of VersaGripps and took a chance on the Cobra grips due to the cheaper pricing.

I am now a big fan of the Cobra grips. Seems heavy duty and similar quality to the VersaGripps. I was performing barbell shrugs with 495lbs and the grip held up great! I bought 2 more pairs. These are high quality, easy and comfortable to use.

Originally ordered the rubber pro grips but unfortunately the smaller fit version arrived so I had to return them. I re-ordered the Limited Edition brown leather grips and Im so glad I did. The wrist support both types provided from just trying them on felt the same but the feel of the limited edition is simply much better.

A very high quality product, cant wait to get them worn in.

Ive been lifting for 25 years. I wish cobra grips were around when I started. I bought a pair 2 years ago and they are still working flawless but I decided to buy another pair for a spare. Ive tried all the others and I like cobras the best.

Lock you hand to the bar and protects my calluss when pressing.

I bought this a few weeks ago For my son to use for throwing the shotput in track and field. He states that it provides him good wrist support, and it is the strap used by most of the kids on his team.

Bought this affordable wrist wraps for the hand stand position. Good for wrist stability and support when lifting. Comes with thumb loop for quick wrapping and fully adjustable closure. Definitely recommend this product.

I commonly see a lot of fitness influencers use these for almost all of their pulling movements and they always explained that when your forearm is the limiting factor for your lifts, you should purchase them.

They were right. All of my back movements went up 5-10 pounds and my deadlifts and RDLs went up around 15 or so. If you have trouble gripping onto the bar or if you feel your forearms working more than your back or legs, it’s time to buy these.

These straps are a quality design that provide an excellent benefit to anyone going through a hellacious pull day. Stitching is good and doesn’t cut in or cause discomfit on the wrist, design is simple and sharp.

Some straps on the market are very rigid and course. These are definitely softer and flexible, easier to pull tight when you’re locked into a big lift.

Alright so I dont usually write a review but I felt like this needed a review. So after using this product I would say its not long lasting. Mine already started to rip. So if you want these I would use them as back ups or as temporary usage especially if you lift heavy.

Just to clarify they are not bad but they wont last long. Stay swol!.

I recently tested the wrist warps, for bench press. I felt I need the extra support, with heavier loads. These did improve my wrist locking position. Good product!

Bought theses coz my scaffoid bone was fractured it helped me to keep lifting weight.. Really good for your wrist if your lifting heavy gets a thumbs up from me

As far as I am concerned RDX is the best, if not the best then very nearly up there amongst the best for gym equipment, over the last couple of years have used their stuff a couple of times and they never fail to deliver on quality, these are no exception, good quality and do what they say they will do.

Only the strong survive! Recommended for power lifting, weight lifting and anything that deals with explosive strength competition! Constantly ordering for multiple competitive athletes! They’re a high quality wrist wrap but nowhere near stiff enough for me. Loop placement is awkward (big difference per hand) resulting in individual wrap per wrist. I have average sized joints and to be frank, I should have ordered slightly longer.

I got these because I developed tennis elbow from weightlifting and these have helped me recover and prevented me from getting it again this far. Highly recommend. I avoided getting them for years because I thought only Meatheads on roids need them.

I was wrong.

Self tensioning is great. Very comfortable and easy to use. Provide great support and already smashed some heavy PB’s in them. I’m a short female (157cm) and these wraps fit my wrists perfectly.

First time buying pro wristwraps so cant really compare to others, but these are much better than the simple ones i got at the local protein shop or for free with an order of some supplement. Not to say those didnt do anything but this is very obviously a different level.

They are stiff and you can get them pretty tight, great for the rep range up to about 10 but any longer and i think youd be better off with one of the less harsh ones. Have to take them off between sets.

My injured wrist holds up in squats with these, have not had the bravery to test bench and overheads as im finally healing with the help of these! Seems like very durable materials. I suppose the first thing to go will be the velcro tape but it does seem to be a particulary durable velcro so we’ll see.

They make my wrist immovable, I suffer a bit on squats since I do low bar, and my bench days afterwards suffer a bit because of that. Using these wraps on squats and bench has been a life saver. I have weak AF wrists and it sucks.

Even if I don’t wrap them tight, which is already taxing to do lol, their stiffness and length is enough to force stop my wrist from bending I will be buying the Elite 24″ Wrist Wraps soon for other movements where I need more flexible and smaller wraps because these ones are more for heavy lifts and max effort.

I will also be buying their Elite 3m Knee Wraps and 9mm Extreme Sleeves when I save up lol.

I’ll like to start this review by saying that I’ve trying for 5+ years and have owned several types of wraps in the past, the Cerberus Elite Wrist Wraps are by far the stiffest I’ve come a cross for now.

They are very similar to Titan Gold Signature, and Metal All Black in stiffness, yet still comfortable to wear. I’ve use these wraps for probably 30-40 training sessions, and they are NOT holding up.

I would not see that these wraps have endured a lot of punishment, as I’ve only use them twice a week for one too two working sets. When I first got them they weren’t the best quality wraps just by looking at them.

the velcro on the right wrap was unevenly sown on. Not by much but enough to be clearly visible. The same wrap started already to tear its stitches in the velcro within the first few weeks, but it didn’t effect the wrapping ability at first.

Now I can’t make the velcro stick without getting properly frustrated each time I wrap my wrists. NOT impressed! I’ve never owned a wrap with so fragile. All my other wraps would easily last 1-3 years.

And in those cases it was always the thumb loop that wore out, never the velcro. I’ll say this much for it; it the wraps where durable I could recommend them, but I don’t see any reason to recommend a pair of wrist wraps that you have to replace after a couple of mouths use.

Grest product! I use it for my regular gym work out routine, as well as my functional and crossfit training. Great ventilation, awsome grip and strong quality; love this product.

it has very strong wrist support, which I desperately needed. the palm padding is about right amount. not too bulky.

Works as designed – protect palms from blistering and support wrists during activities. Reasonable price for such high quality.

Great quality products. The wrist wraps really makes a difference in my bench pressing capability. I really like that they hook to my thumb. The lifting straps help tremendously with my deadlifts. Great products.

Some of the best straps I have used, and the price is insane. You definitely aren’t cutting corners with these. The material is great and they provide tons of support when lifting. Some high quality straps for such a low price.

for the price i’m not sure there is anything better on the market. i have no complaints other than one of my wrist wraps was delivered to me incorrectly. they are still more than usable, and I’m happy with the product.

These straps sure do offer great quality, I’ve been lifting for a couple of years now and have had a couple of straps, but I have to agree with the other people using these. They are a lot thicker then a lot of other straps but still feel very sturdy and comfortable.

I can with confidence recommend these.

These are without a doubt in my mind the best quality straps that I have ever used. The feel of the straps not just around the wrist but also in my hand ensures for the ultimate grip. The heavy duty material also ensures longevity.

I’ve had these since Wed Dec 19/18, and have had the time to do 2 full chest routines now. My wrists feel perfect after my full bench routine, PLUS, I added a 225×10 with a SlingShot Reactive (225×6 is my max without a SlingShot Reactive).

They are so easy to get locked in on the wrist, and the added feeling of security allows me to push hard without fear or pain in my wrists, during or after my workout. The construction seems solid, with just the right amount of flex to form snug to my wrist and fist.

The thumb loops. You just can’t go back to other brands after trying the Gansta style thumb loops. I prefer to wrap across the back of my hand first, as opposed to across the palm, and always found that hard to do with other wraps while still feeling properly supported.

Gansta Wraps? No problem.

I have a pair of Inzer wraps that I’ve been using for a long time. They were not as pricy as the gangsta wraps and I can see why. I love how the gangsta wraps stable your wrist and fists. It seems like you generate more power and stay more stable with heavier weight’s.

I have the old gangsta wraps as well as the brand new flex ones. Overall they are decent wraps. My only complaint is the thickness. I know they probably offer proper support for 600+ pound benches but It just feels so thin and that messes with my confidence before a huge bench.

So they are and will remain training wraps for me.

I just bought the Rogue Westside Monster Bench. It came very well packed and without any scratches,damages or any parts missing. It was worth the shipping. I am 55 yrs old and bench over #405 still. I need the quality and safety that this top tier bench provides to continue to maintain.

These wrist grips are the perfect solution to those two problems that Crossfitters run into every workout. These products solve the problem with utilization of the Velcro which is the wrist support while the durable cloth helps with hand tearing.

These grips can be best evaluated by their level of support and their ability to prevent tearing. The first benefit that these wrist grips offer is that it adds strength and support to your wrists. The Velcro that wraps around your wrists provides support and strength but also adjusts to your comfort level; not too loose and not too tight.

The second benefit that is offered is the preventing of hand and callous tears. As time progresses, your hands will eventually tear when you are gripping a pull-up bar, weightlifting barbell, or Olympic rings.

The durable cloth that is attached to the Velcro covers up your hand and hooks around your two middle fingers to ensure that it does not fall off and secures your hands. While these perks are highly beneficial and innovative, there is one slight improvement that could be made.

These wraps were purchased and received October 2021, the Velcro was wearing away by December, by February 2022 the Velcro wouldn’t even hold wraps in place and were completely unusable. I kept extremely good care of them and they were only used twice a week.

I was told they are out of warranty and would not be replaced. I’m blown away that a company like rogue would put out such a cheap product and only offer a 90 day warranty and not even honor that warranty with not even a month past the 90 days.
