20 Best Xbox One Cooler (2022 Updated)

I compare the Z73 with Corsair’s iCue 360 Elite: The Kraken is well built and does what they say. Since reservoirs seem to be passe I like beefy tubes and bigger rads (for liq. volume). The Corsair iCue 360 has a thicker radiator (great if you’ve got a larger case) but the LCD hangs on the CPU block via magnets which can be bumped askew.

The Kraken probably holds fewer ml sadly but the numbers are fine and the LCD attaches solidly. At idle my Ryzen 9 5900 shows 43c and at half load 58c. Well below the 85-90 okay range. I suspect the sensor is off a tad because the BIOS consistantly showed 3c higher.

Still great, but be aware. Hoses are long enough to reach any corner of my huge ATX case. I think I like the look of the iCue better. The Kraken display options are okay – I choose both CPU and GPU temps with a slow rainbow background.

You need to buy an extra controller to control the fan RGBs, which are included, but that brings the cost of the main kit down a tad. The iCue RGB controller is included with it’s higher price but the power connector needs duct tape to keep it from vibrating out of its socket.

That’s an easy fix but I have no similar issues with the Kraken. Some Corsair users have had red triangles of death on their LCD screens which prevents mboards from POSTing which is why I had to switch to the Kraken.

Both had pre-applied thermal paste with acceptable coverage just beware it’s easy to muck it against something when you need three hands trying to switch out the pre-installed Intel mounting connectors for the supplied AMD connectors.

Overall, I’m sticking with the Kraken Z73.

Amazing hardware. Keeps my 12900k cool much better than the MSI unit it replaced. BUT you’re required to use their Windows only NZXT CAM software for it to work correctly. Specifically, you need the NZXT CAM software to start with your Windows machine every time to set fan and pump speed curves.

If you start your machine without the software, the unit’s ability to cool is severely hindered. Your settings aren’t saved on the hardware. You HAVE to start the software for the settings to be applied.

In my opinion, this is a very poor engineering decision. For example: with NZXT CAM started, I can run Cinebench with PL1=PL2=241W without thermal throttling. However, restart the machine without starting NZXT CAM and run the same test, my 12900K thermally throttles within seconds and maintains 97+ deg C.

As far as I can tell (and I searched), you cant control the pump through the BIOS, it’s all software controlled. If the software crashes or exits (such as in between benchmarks or other resource intensive programs), the cooler no longer reacts to the CPU temperature and the CPU starts heating up without the pump and fans compensating for it.

I’m hoping to return this item since it’s beholden to clunky and resource hogging software. Furthermore, what happens if NZXT decides to stop supporting an older version of Windows or this product? There isn’t a version for Linux (although there is an open source alternative with limited functionality).

I’m pretty disappointed, considering how great the actual hardware is.

Works well straight out of the box. I’ve used the X53 in the past but upgraded to this for the larger radiator (2×140 mm fans, too) and the RGB to utilize in my new case. You have to make sure you install it correctly or else air bubbles may accumulate and the AIO won’t be as quiet as it can be – also long term use may create issues in the AIO.

Just make sure the pump head with the NZXT logo is lower than the intake point on the radiator. I installed mine in an NZXT H510 Flow case and had no issues. You can rotate the NZXT logo display on the pump head unlike the previous X52/X53 versions of this AIO pump.

My only issue with this product is the amount of cables connected to the pump head. There is a micro usb to mobo usb as well as a special connection that routes to CPU Fan and I believe SATA. Depending on your motherboard layout this can get annoying with cable management, but it is a slightly smaller cable now versus what NZXT used on the X52/X53.

Also keep in mind with the RGB model you need to have the NZXT AER RGB 2 system controller for controlling the lighting using NZXT CAM software. The NZXT “i” cases come with this but not any others. You can still connect the fans normally with any mobo, but you need the controller for the RGB lighting.

The fans daisy chain together with a nice short extension to let you do this within the confines of the radiator space, but that does take a bit of figuring out if you haven’t hooked up RGB 2 fans by NZXT before.

Rating 4 stars because of ease of installation/lack of super clear instructions, and the number of cables at the pump head that should be refined to make for cleaner setups.

When it comes to cooling your CPU, you have several options, and the second you choose to look at water cooling you should instantly look to a corsair and this is for several reasons. Aesthetics – The RGB on the H100i/H150i is amazing.

The lights are evenly dispersed and graded so you cant see and individual lights and the gradient flow is very smooth. Corsair ICue can be a hassle but once you get the flow of it – it is AMAZING. I can have my Phillips hue lights in my office/game room and have all my lights matching in corsairs ICUE software which is to my knowledge exclusive.

Performance – Though not the triple rad, the 8700k has plenty of cap room for a reasonably aggressive overclocking without throttling. For reference – I use the H150i for my 5950x and it never goes over 65 degrees at 5ghz which is pretty impressive.

You can never hear the pump and as far as corsair support goes they will RMA anything with little to zero hassle which is always a win with good customer support. Price and Upgradeability – When it comes to price I am always shocked to see corsair cheaper than almost every other AIO on the market while performing better, the fans that come with it are also decent fans with good RGB as well! This AIO is also upgradable which is almost unheard of as you can upgrade the LED lights to a screen should you want to at a later time.

Conclusion – Regardless of whether you are looking for a 240 or a triple rad I would never consider another option other than corsair. After 15-20 PC builds you can tell quality when you see it and Corsair has never faulted me on quality, customer service, or performance.

I couldn’t recommend an AIO or a PC brand more than corsair.

As other reviewers say, the pump whine is ridiculous with this unit. I actually thought it was defective before searching for similar customer issues. I’ve always had Corsair liquid coolers, but this is by far the most annoying pump I’ve ever had.

It is constantly buzzing/whining even on the desktop, doing nothing. It’s louder than the 5 fans currently running in the case. No lie, this pump makes more noise than the AMD 6700XT reference card I’m currently using! That is saying something because AMD reference cards are known to be loud and hot.

I read that Corsair changed the pump manufacturer used for their AIO coolers, so if that’s the case, bad move by Corsair. I have 5 Corsair products total now, and this is the first purchase I’ve regretted.

It’s WAYYY too expensive to have a problem like this. Also, in some games like Destiny, just by having your camera facing different objects in-game, you can change the sound and whine of this CPU cooler haha.

Once again, with that happening, I thought the crazy noise was coming from the AMD GPU, until I opened the side panel and got down in the floor to listen. Nope, it’s this CPU pump. Sounds very similar to my dorm-size refrigerator running.

One more thing. When I reboot my computer, and sometimes when I’m shutting it down, the AIO fans ramp up to what sounds like full RPM speeds. It gets concerning loud. Enough to wake up someone in the same room sleeping.

With all that said, the h150i keeps the CPU very cool and the RGB is cool to use with my other Corsair products, but the noises this pump is causing kind of ruins everything else for me.

I ordered the 280mm version. TLDR; Solid AIO cooler lowered my 9900K temps by about ~10-15C I have a push pull configuration front case mounted, with a total of 4x Corsair ML RGB Fans attached to the Rad.

I also have it mounted on top of my delided i9 9900K. Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut in between the die and copper cold plate. Running my system on an Asus HERO X Maximus MB. in a Phanteks Eclipse P350X case.

Solid 5Ghz idle temps at the desktop screen are 38-40C. Vs the 55-60C on Air cooling. I Used to have the Cryorig H7 Quad Lumi cooling my system. (Delid with Conductonaut as well) But I was getting tired of constantly seeing 90+C CPU temps when playing AAA games.

As a test. I would run the AIDA64 Extreme stress test and run it for a few seconds. And immediately notice the thermal throttle and would downclock from 5Ghz and the core temperature would reach 100C.

Spicy and toasty! I Ran the same tests, this time with the AIO cooler from Corsair. And I never saw thermal throttle and I ran it for a solid 5mins vs the previous 30 seconds. The clocks stayed at full speed 5Ghz and max temps hovered around 83-86C Mind you, these are ridiculous tests and you would probably only see these high temps if running [email protected], and not even when exporting video files after editing! So if you want higher clocks with a higher thermal capacity, then this AIO cooler is for you! That great debate over AIR vs Water cooling a CPU.

Well hands down, I am a true believer of water cooling now. Solid build quality as well as the RGB to make it look nice and pretty! CUE software has greatly improved over the years as well! For the Delid, you’ll have to put spacers behind the CPU mounting bracket, And I straight up just reused my Cryorig H7 CPU cooler mount with this Corsair AIO pump mount.

Since it was already there might as well. My delid kit was put together from RockitCool Intel 9th Gen Direct to Die Kit. For more info on delid, go on YU (YouTube University) and look up GamersNexus.

Installed this cooler three weeks ago as a first-time builder, and it’s working well on a i7-12700k so far. Quiet operation with idle temps 4-6 degrees above ambient and sustained load temps at about 20-40 degrees above ambient.

A couple install notes: The surface of the cooler that touches the IHS is covered by a piece of rigid plastic. My cooler did not have a peel-off sticker that coolers from other manufacturers may have.

The cooler comes with a mounting bracket for the LGA1700 socket. For intel 12th-gen chips, the Noctua manual shows how to apply the thermal paste in a quincunx pattern, and there’s plenty of paste in the tube to practice your application technique.

For ATX PC’s, I think it’s wise to install a cooler of this size once the motherboard is fixed inside the case, so you can easily attach CPU power cable(s) and fan headers to the motherboard. I attached the cooler outside the which was nice since it served as a secure handle to grasp the motherboard as it was put into the case, but connecting the fans and power cables and screwing in the motherboard was a delicate operation with two gigantic radiators and fans obstructing the space.

Thankfully I had long screwdrivers.

I installed this on a Z390 MB with a 9700K inside a NZXT H510 case. It was easy to install, it runs very cool and very quiet! I did not have room for the second fan due to RAM height, but I didn’t need it anyway.

Running Cinebench a couple of passes resulted in a temp of 70 degrees Celsius. Under normal operation it stays much cooler, and it idles about 31 degrees. This replaces an NZXT Kraken X62 280mm AIO. No more worries about a leaking AIO, I do not have to run the CAM software any longer, and I get much better airflow which is better for my GPU!.

I bought this G923 and ended up returning it a few hours later, and this is why. First, I got home and opened the box, started taking the contents out and the steering wheel module already had a rattling piece of plastic inside, which was a huge disappointment even before giving it a go.

The setup is really fast as it’s mostly plugged and play, and with the G-Hub app already installed on my computer it was easy to customize each key etc. I used it on PC, tried it with Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, dirt 2.

0, Dirt4, F1 2018 so I gave it a fair trial with multiple games. I’m going to split my review with pros and cons. Pros: – It’s a very affordable setup in comparison to the bigger brands, so if you want to get started with Sim racing I would say this is your solution but don’t expect amazing, the fact that you can snag one at your local best buy is a plus comparing it to the competition.

– G-Hub app makes key binding very easy and fast, plenty to customize (if you’re playing on PC) – Not bulky as some units, with a decent build quality for the price and ease of set up/removal if you have to secure it to a PC desk.

Cons: – The wheel is very small, – The True force is nothing but capturing the sound frequency of the engine of the car, translating it into some weird and unusual feel on the steering wheel. At one point I muted the sound of the speaker to hear how loud the feedback motor was and I could hear the engine revving up/down through the steering wheel, I am not a fan of that.

– The pedals are not the worst, but the brake pedal does not come with any sort of adjusting, nor does it have a feedback feature as some other pedals would do. This is a deal-breaker, as you’re missing half the “feedback” of the experience (why not add that to the brake pedal? it’s just a tiny rumble motor that attaches inside the cylinder.

the wheel has it, why stop halfway?) – THE CLUNKING THIS THING MAKES IS INSANELY LOUD AND ANNOYING!! My wheel came defective as noted above, I thought that was the issue attributed to the rattling but upon searching on youtube before walking into my local BestBuy, I saw many video reviews, with a lot of people on the comment section also describing the same “rattling/clunk” issues.

All in all, this is more for a kid under 15 years old to enjoy from time to time, but this is not a good choice if you want to experience sim-racing at a budget, I recommend staying away from it if that’s your expectations.

Sure, maybe I was expecting a lot more from this but there are far better options considering that for about $500 more you can get a decent (not the best) direct drive set up.

I bought this after playing F1 2020 for a few weeks with a controller and thinking to myself “this ain’t it”. After just a few days with the G923 I feel like my entire experience with sim racing has changed for the better.

And my lap times have proved immensely. I’m having fun on a video game for the first time in years. I’ll skip all the fine points that others have pointed out and get right to the punch. It sounds like the big win with this unit is the TrueFeel, which half of sim racers seem to be skeptical about, instead preferring the T300.

To someone who has no experience in the racing sim arena, but has driven high performance sports cars, I have no complaints with the feeling or noise coming from the wheel (quieter than an analog sports car by a long shot).

In terms of set up it was pretty much plug and play out of the box. I had to adjust some wheel settings for F1 specifically, the biggest one being changing the operating range of the wheel in G-Hub from 920 to 540 – at 920, it was impossible to get the wheel around in time to make an opposite turn.

This one adjustment completely changed the feel so if you’re having some issues with it out of the box, look at some YouTube videos and articles specific to your game and someone has probably figured it out.

With anything Logitech the build quality is what you expect – really solid. Wire management is great, and the clamps/vice used to keep the steering wheel on a desk (if not mounting with hardware) is really solid and easy to mount or take off.

My only real concern is just long term use of a leather steering wheel – I’ll probably find some racing gloves and keep some sanitizer closer by to avoid wear and tear.

This is a very good wheel. I gave it a conservative 4 stars because they don’t allow fractions, or it would be 4. 75. The ding is because I had to uninstall/reinstall Forza Motorsport 7 on Xbox X to get it to see the wheel.

I previously tried a G920, and it didn’t work either. Frustrated, I got the idea to try removing the game and reinstalling with the wheel attached and it worked. The break pedal is much better than the G920, so I don’t regret paying more for this one, plus the feedback is more realistic and smoother game play.

Some other downsides are that you still can’t use the LED’s across the top of the wheel, or the other dials in FM7. I can’t wait for FM8 to come out and hope this wheel can really shine and use all its features fully.

Worth noting, I have the wheel mounted in one of those metal frame stand and the pedals bolted into the base of the stand.

This was recommended to me by a friend who swears by Rtic. Took it camping this past weekend and it exceeded my expectations. It was mid to upper 90s all weekend, maybe dropping to 70s at night. It was brutal.

I precooled the cooler for 24 hours and then used two of the large ice packs that come with my meal delivery box. I didn’t have a huge amount of food but after 48 hours the ice packs still had cold slushy ice and everything in the cooler including mayonnaise and potato salad was still cold.

Very pleased. It’s a bit heavy but worth it!.

After spending months reading reviews and researching the available options on the market, I decided that RTIC had the right balance of value, reputation and quality. I intended for this cooler to replace an old Igloo that got smashed to pieces by some wild horses on the Assateague Island, so I knew this time around I needed something that could withstand more abuse.

As someone who camps and travels frequently, my main concerns were regarding ice retention and durability. I placed my order for a hard shell 45 and added a divider, a dry basket, and a couple metal tie down brackets that double as bottle openers.

I was skeptical about the shipping time as I had heard stories of people waiting several months to receive their coolers. Well, I received my cooler with all of its accessories in less than a week and I was very impressed with the build quality upon arrival.

After adorning the exterior with some brewery and park stickers, I promptly filled it with food and beer and took it for its first excursion to Aspen, CO where it held ice for the full manufacturer spec of five days! Granted the Colorado Rockies aren’t the warmest place in April, but at several afternoons reaching the 60s, there is no way my old Igloo would have retained ice for that long.

I also have to compliment RTIC for having a great web based store with plenty of replacement cooler parts in case something does break in the future. This inspired confidence in the company when placing my initial order.

I plan to return to RTIC for all of my cooler and beverage needs going forward. If I had to give a final word of advice to RTIC, it’s to invest in producing some marine-grade cooler mats that adhere to the lids to create a more comfortable seat.

There are several of second party manufacturers for these, but I would rather stick with an RTIC-made product if available.

So I got the product and could figure out how it work real simple, fab on one side, pump on the other. When I tried to screw the fan in place that’s when I ran into the first oddity. The screws for the fan were short and wide with wide threading, but the fan itself didn’t have any threading? I had to manually tap the threading into it using the screws more or less, praying I didn’t break the stupid thing.

Then I tried to mount the bracket onto my card and the instruction says N for Nvidia, A for AMD. So I assumed, my card being a 2070 super and everything, I would use the N bracket. It didn’t line up with the holes on my GPU at all, so I went with the AMD brackets which did, but it just threw me off a lot.

Such odd issues with an item you’d assume wouldn’t really have issues since it’s such a simple concept. Then, when I tried to install the bracket on my pump, the interlocking teeth on the bracket were too long, and didn’t want to lock into place with my pump.

Solution, file the teeth down until they finally caught. I wish I had pictures to show how a 5 minute job turned into more like an hours worth of labor.

Other reviews and online videos suggest using the AMD mounts and it will work on RTX cards, but that does not hold true for every RTX out there, mine included. Just something to keep in mind if buying this to mount on an RTX card.

It’s still worth it overall, when all was said and done, I spent a couple hours mounting this, a good portion of that time was running to the store to buy tin snips. In the end, I will be able to squeeze more life out of the RTX 2060 with GPU prices being what they are.

In the end I spent a total of $120 for this and the AIO I mounted as well. Overall with the time and money.

Recently got an Xbone. Shocked to discover how hot the system gets when playing games. After having 3 360’s die on me from poor heat management (and hearing about Ones having heat issues too), I want my One to be bullet proof to losing it to something as lame and preventable as getting too hot Without intercooler, system gets uncomfortably hot to the touch.

With intercooler, system slightly warms up. Problem with the Xbox One is it blows hot air straight up and sucks in fresh air through the sides. If placed on a small enclosed shelf on an entertainment center, system will suck the hot air back in and overheat.

The Nyko will blow it out and away so this doesn’t happen. Intercooler often continues to blow after system is turned off. I don’t know how anyone could complain about the noise unless your ear is right next to it.

Quiet. And yes, I’m paranoid and distrustful enough of Microsoft’s manufacturing process to have taken my brand new system apart to replace the thermal compound. Sure enough, the Xbox one’s thermal compound is both super cheap junk and not applied properly (too much of it).

Before when my kids played xbox for an hour the xbox would be very hot to the point you can’t touch it for to long. Now with this cooling fan I must say that I was amazed after 2 or 3 hours of playing the xbox is still cool to the touch on the sides and on top.

the fan itself does warm up a bit but I figure that’s the point to keep the internals of the xbox cool I was skeptical on how good it would really work but after using it for 2 weeks I highly recommend this product.

Well I purchased this fan to blow the warm air out of my entertainment center doors so the shelf area wasn’t getting so hot. Found that the fan isn’t powerful enough to push the air out 3. 5″. It comes out the vent and strait up into the entertainment center shelfs rather than the front of the unit.

Pros: it looks good, it’s quiet, it locks into place. Cons: needs a more powerful fan, vents point hot air in a bad direction, doesn’t drop temps much. From 150-145.

Its an alright product. Not worth what it is priced at. Would recommend just using a laptop cooler instead. Doesnt really help cool down my PS4.

My ps4 pro sounded like a jet engine I pulled it apart and cleaned it completely and still no difference so I got this and it was stopped it from being so loud and the rgb lights are a bonus

I love this awesome mini fridge. Stylish and since I’m a huge Xbox fan, I love this design. I keep soda cans and even water bottles or other drinks in this fridge. I only turn it on when there is something in it.

The sound is not too loud. The fridge gets cold quickly and drinks are cold fast. I discovered that I could not hold 8 cans as the photo suggests because when I tried to the screw in the roof of the fridge scratched the can bad and almost ripped a hole in the sofa can.

However, if you remove the shelf and stack them differently, 8 cans will fit fine. I have no problems with operating this fridge. It is compact enough to sit anywhere and I currently have it sitting next to my tv and game system on the TV stand.

It even has a USB port which was just mind blowing to me and I think that’s a great feature. I am thoroughly satisfied with this product and highly recommend purchasing it.

Yes four stars rather than five! Why you ask. For me it’s all about the software that you download to access the product once installed. Yes the product is easy to install, no issues however installing the software was just a no go.

So if your wanting to access being able to upload your own gif or change the rotation of the display and your using Windows 11. forget it as the software won’t install. I have email support and they informed me that due to Win11 being new they aren’t supporting it yet.

However apart from that I have no issues as the product does work and I just dual boot to Windows 10 set it up and go back to Windows 11 with no issues. It is only early stages though as I have had this for a few weeks so far and although the system is running good on all temps once I do a benchmark with a heavy load I do get 100% temps and throttling from the CPU, maybe I should have purchased the larger one of these but using the computer with regular stuff including gaming it does seem to handle the workload.

It is cool to be able to add your own gif on the display and change is as required.

I purchased this AIO for my son as an upgrade to his standard cooler. This is currently cooling an i9 processor and keeping the temps at bay. When originally installing this device, I connected the USB connector backwards on the pump side, which caused the pump to not run, which caused the PC to run extremely hot.

Just a heads up if you are having the same issue. After correcting that issue, no issues with running this cooler. The built in display is convenient, showing current CPU temperature, or various other setting if you install the software (which I did not choose to do in this use) Overall 4/5, the only downside being the ability to install the USB header backwards with little / no keying to show how it should go in.

This was a cinch to install for my first AIO. I had to reapply thermal paste as when I put the bracket on for an AMD motherboard, I didn’t align the logo correctly. But it keeps the chip cool, the fans are easily controlled via my MSI motherboard’s controller, and the USB cable is long enough to wrap and hide on most any full ATX board depending on the case passthroughs.

My only complaint would be that the fan cable is a little short for some connections, but that was solved by a $2 extender.

Cooling is great so far on a Ryzen 5 5600x, coming in at 35 degrees Celcius under load. Just as easy to install as any cpu fan, but the radiator can be a little wide to fit on the top of some lower profile mid size cases.

Take your measurements to make sure your radiator, fans, and RAM will all fit comfortably.

I’ve always used water cooling in the past, but tried this cooler after reading the reviews in my new build, and I’m very impressed. It maintains a low temp at high CPU loads, and is whisper quiet too.

After installing the NOCTUA on an i7-4790K CPU, it knocked a massive 16 degrees off the Processors core temperature! ALSO, due to the NOCTUA’s fan directing the heated air directly at the rear extractor fan, it dropped the Motherboards temperature 4 degrees as well.

Impressive, most impressive.

This product was part of a Computer system that PB Tech built for me to replace an aging video editing system. From the initial enquiry through to the final delivery I received second to none service from Mark Yeoh.

In my presence he built up the solution advising on each recommended component the why and the expected outcome I would receive. I purchased my original system as a fully built video editing system and assumed it would work – and it did.

However to return to the same supplier the cost was going to be prohibitive for a hobby video editor. Now i have the system up and running in my home it operates seamlessly and I could only recommend to others who need technical support that based on my experience they will not be disappointed at the level of expertise, courtesy and patience they can find at PB Tech.

Noctua quality in black which includes LGA 1700 support out of the box. No need to order extra brackets and no waiting to build your Alder Lake rig. Installation is very straightforward and although it is expensive Noctua quality and performance is worth the investment.

I have this paired with the i7 12700k at stock settings on an Asus Tuf z690 D4 board. Gaming temps are in the mid 50s C and hold 4800-4900 clocks when multiple threads are used. Running Cinebench pushes temps into the mid 70s and low 80s and considering the max is 100C on these chips there is plenty of headroom there.

Any decent case with some airflow should have no issues with this cooler and any AM4 CPU as well as any i5 or i7. I was concerned about temps with Alder Lake but under realistic loads that most everyone uses, especially gaming, this cooler is plenty.

I highly recommend giving this one a shot.

I purchased this cooler for my Intel 10400F CPU to upgrade to the stock cooler. There is a significant improvement in cooling performance. Up to low loads, the stock cooler maintained the CPU temp around 40-45°C; this Noctua maintains the CPU temp at around 30-35°C.

At moderate loads, the stock cooler operated up to ~60°C; this cooler maintains the CPU in the forties (°C), heading into the low fifties at worst. The additional cooling also means the case fans run at lower RPMs, so the demand on them is significantly reduced.

The cooler footprint isn’t large so combability is good (eg tall RAM still fits, etc). Plenty of parts are included to for compatibility with several types of Intel and AMD sockets. Highly recommended for entry and mid-range CPU cooling upgrades for a decent price.

This cooler is by far the best air cooler money can buy. I don’t have much experience with building computers, but the installation was seamless and easy with the instructions provided by Noctua. The air cooler comes with LGA 115x, the new 1700 socket for the Alder Lake CPU’s and AM4.

The thermal paste provided by Noctua is also top quality. Under load, the highest temperatures I’ve seen were around 75C, idle around 35-40C. Extremely comparable to any liquid cooling/AIO on the market currently.

The fan on the cooler is super quiet, I don’t here a thing when playing games. Overall, extremely satisfied with the purchase.

I had a Yeti Roadie 20 which was a disappointment in the fact that the ice didnt ever last a weekend and due to the size storing bottles of wine was difficult. After giving it to a relative I tried the Otterbox Venture 25.

This cooler not only can store wine bottles but the ice easily lasts a full week! Its been on every trip and I can count on cold beverages the entire week. To be fair it is bigger than the Yeti and that might make the difference in performance too.

Another feature that is great are the sturdy latches and I prefer the rigid side handles as well. I am very pleased with the Venture cooler.

Great cooler, works very well. I am trying Cooler Shock Ice packages in it instead of dealing with ice and they keep beverages very cold in this cooler. I have not tried anything like a 5 day ice challenge yet and likely never will.

It holds (2) 12 packs left in original cardboard packaging with cooler shock ice packages. They do not get wet using the packs so you can just leave them in the original packaging. It seems to seal very well without having to fasten lid each time as lid seems heavy enough to work as a sealer by itself.

It easy to open. Friends with the y brand commented on how they liked it as well.

After I bought a small station wagon I realized a cheapo cooler would not work at all due to heat build up. Way hotter than the trunk of a sedan. After checking out the Otter 25 I purchased one and did a torture test.

One bag of ice, 5 different bottled liquid drinks, and leave it in the car for several days. I checked it each morning and each evening for progress. or ice melt in real world. The exterior of the Otter was almost too hot to touch, but the ice survived and slowly melted over 3 days and night.

Finally it was just very cold water and the drinks were all fine. It stayed in the back of the car all day at work and all night in driveway. Opened twice a day which would be normal. I have never had ice last more than one day/night cycle even being out of the heat.

Worth every penny for pro cooler.

This AIO is a good choice if you are looking for an upgrade or replacing a dying air cooler like me, when you get it to work. That being said, it is kind of a challenge to set up. I have an ASUS TUF X-570 MOBO and had to tinker with this to get it to work.

When I set everything up, I used the AIO header on my MOBO thinking nothing of it. Why label it as a WP header if you’re not supposed to use an AIO with it? On the first post after install, I received a “CPU Fan Failure!” alert and down the rabbit hole I went.

If this happens to you, here’s what I had to do to fix it. I had to replace my PSU due to the Command Controller this plugs into not working with an already used Sata cable (It was plugged into my SSD and my other in to my HDD).

I had to buy a PSU with 3 separate Sata cables to make this work as the mounting in my case precluded me from just moving a drive to make a single cable reach both drives. Still received the error and I reached out to Corsair support.

As of today, that ticket has not been answered (Day 6) and I would not bother trying their customer support. Then I decided to move my pump to the CPU header and change it to PWM in the BIOS and peg it at 100% all of the time.

This got me finally out of the straight to BIOS fan error but my idle temps were in the 70’s. I reapplied thermal paste and checked again to the same result. I had plugged all of my case fans into the controller in the back and when I moved the two on the AIO to the 1st and 2nd slots on the controller, my temps went to around 35 at idle.

I don’t know if I just got a touchy AIO or what but this was a bear to figure out. It runs fine now, but if you have to rely on Corsairs customer support. I hope you don’t have to use your computer for anything important for a while.

I am surprised at this one, because my former one the Corsair 105i was not that good and a bit noisy and sometimes hot so I have made a manual override in the temperature settings there to keep it quiet.

The radiator was clean and the fans too so that was not the problem. This one is perfect. Cool, Quiet, Smaller than the former one, smaller tubes. Set on Balanced in the iCue software. The 100i has Smaller Fans and Radiator.

And it stays cool with very hot weather which impressed me. I have no idea why others don’t have the same experience as me with it. But then again I build computers for many years and I check everything if all is connected properly before starting.

There is only one thing that is strange but not a big deal. The memory of Corsair is not showing in the iCue software. It did before but after updating it, they sometimes disappear and there is an error message in iCue.

I have not yet been in contact with Corsair about this but I will soon when I have more time. Overall a good cooler so far. Commander is working fine. You should NOT see the commander when the Pump works properly.

If it does, something is with the pump of the cooler. This is written on the Corsair website so for those that complain they can’t see the Commander that is how it is supposed to work.

We purchased both the 55 and 77 Qt size to go camping out west for a month (bear proof was a great selling point for me lol). We watched some videos that pitted them against Yeti and the Lifetime actually out performed the Yeti.

On our trip one housed all of our beverages and the other had all of our food items and they both performed great! We literally lived for a month using these are our means of keeping food and drinks cool and they did awesome.

The coolers remained in the back of the truck for months as my boyfriend travels a lot for work and held up very well. He did notice the lids warped (sounds like a common issue) but they retained their ability to seal.

We have read that if you leave them open and upside down in the sun they will flatten back out some. Overall very worth the money and a deal compared to a Yeti!.

This cooler is exceptional. I did ice retention test with 40 lb of ice and many beverages in Florida with 90° plus weather. on my patio the entire time and after 5 days it still had ice. I opened the cooler many times per day unlike some of these ice retention tests that open them like once or twice a day, which is not realistic.

So if you never really open it you probably will get the full 7 days but personally 5 days and 90° plus weather is exceptional. I went and bought the 28 quart version after that and I was able to get almost 3 days on my patio with opening and closing it many times per day.

Basically for the amount of money you spend for this cooler you cannot go wrong as it’s every bit as good as a yeti at three times the amount of money.

So many “high-end” coolers are out there and they all make huge claims, but rarely deliver. At half to on quarter the price of competitors, this cooler is the best I have found. Compare the real-world thickness of the walls, a lid that is actually insulated (many or hallow), and superior design in both handles, drain, and latches.

This cooler holds ice for SEVEN days, outdoors in a car, in the hot Florida summer. I even kept DRY ICE cold for 5 days in the heat. Their warrantee is superb! This is the best cooler I have ever owned, used, or seen.

Great cooler and near silent at max fan speed. The only minor problem for me was size. With all the cathick cabling I have, there’s no room to move in my mini tower. But it still works just great.

Sorry for writing in english. Im using this cooler with ryzen 3950x. The installation was easy and the noise level is very low. The CPU can reach 80C under heavy load, which is acceptable.

Sunt foarte multumit de temperaturile procesorului, am un r9 3900x, la cold start in idle sta in 30-32C, dupa cateva ore bune de functionare ajunge la 35C, in cinebench R20 (toate nucleele la 4,3ghz) ajunge la 70-75C, in PUBG pe ultra settings temperatura joaca intre 55-63C.

Nu este chiar un contra dar este extrem de mare si greu. Trebuie tinut cont inainte de al pune pe procesor ca au fost bagate toate cablurile, este posibil sa nu iti mai incapa mana in zona respectiva.

Pentru inlocuirea placutelor ram este necesara demontarea acestuia sau demontarea ventilatorului de pe partea cu placutele ram. La specificatii scrie ca are 155mm, in cazul meu a ajuns la 160mm deoarece placutele ram sunt foarte inalte si ventilatorul a trebuit montat putin mai sus.
