WORKS GREAT IN CHECKING DIAMONDS – CAN NOT TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NATURAL AND MAN MADE DIAMONDS –

I bought the black pair to see if they would be have good support. I have plantar fasciitis. It was so painful to walk. I bought several pairs of shoes (other brands…. Hoka, Nike etc etc) so I would have good support & to minimize the pain.

These are the best pair out of the nine different pairs I bought. When I wear this shoe my feet don’t hurt. I can tell they make a big difference cuz my feet don’t hurt until I take them off. After wearing this shoe constantly for about 3 weeks I went to Dick’s Sporting Goods store & bought 2 more pairs.

Honestly I might buy more but I have to at least try my other pairs I bought. I bought 2 pair of Hoka’s. I heard they are good shoes. If you have trouble with your feet. I would recommend these shoes.

Purchased as a gift and also a pair for myself. Pros: Merchandise came quickly and was personalized (really nice touch)- website easy to navigate – various items to choose from. Cons: Over $600. 00 Order still charged S/H – (It’s a pet-peeve of mine) tbh if I was purchasing for myself ONLY and not this specific gift, I would not have placed order, especially since discount could not be used for items in cart.

Also clothing sizes list a Large as size 10…. Really?? To summarize – efficient turn-around, appealing merch, unrealistic sizing, no incentive for large order discount could lead to a one and done sale.

These are super comfortable and unique, I love them. I wear 9. 5 in Nike running shoes, but have also bought Nikes in size 9 depending on the style. With these I went with a 10 because there was a little puckering of fabric at the toe box with the 9.

5 and I didn’t like that. With the 10 there is still a tiny bit of puckering but it’s not bad at all. I did my research on these before I bought and am satisfied.

I bought a ceramic flattening stone. Which worked initially. Second time I used it I thought it was good but my chisels were taking a long time to create bevel and secondary bevel. I realised the ceramic flattening stone had become cupped and did the same to my wet stones.

I purchased the diamond stone to flatten wet stones and it flattened the ceramic flattening stone. It starts off aggressive but quickly looses that and feels like it is not doing anything fast. With flattening edges of tools or bevels etc it has an initial bite then looses it very quickly and becomes like two wet glass plates just sliding over each-other.

I purchased a second diamond flat plate which glues on aluminium plate about 400 grit. When I switch over the 400 grit has an initial bite then looses it quickly and does nothing even though it is not clogged.

I found by switching diamond stone grits constantly I can keep the diamond stones working to remove material quicker. I don’t know why they loose their bite on metal quickly but the diamond stones are great on flattening Waterstones.

I restored my late father’s stones which he was using to sharpen his barber-shop scizzors. They were severely cupped from decades of use and now look brand-new. I am pleased with that. I purchased it to help with rapid flattening of chisels / blades.

I’m not that impressed for that. I believe it has lost most of its coarse grit quite quickly. It is still hard work to flatten a tool.

I have bought this one to finish up my sharpening procedure (this and stropping). Extra extra fine meant “really fine” to me. First: there was lots of “debris” or a layer of rough leftover (from production?) on it.

Unusable that way. Second: Even after wearing that layer off it never really became the super smooth surface I had expected. I find it disturbing that it is left to the customer to “prime” that plate.

It could have been / should have been done prior to selling it really.

I’ve bought a number of ebay planes and chisels and enjoy hand sharpening and fettling. However, getting some irons/blades flat and beveled to 25 degrees was taking forever using my 80, 120 grit sandpaper then a 250 grit diamond stone.

Often, I would give up when my arms became tired rather than when the result was correct. So, I took a punt on this as an alternative. and wow! This bites and tears into metal when new but settles down to become easier to manage and leave less scoring after a bit of use.

Because it’s so aggressive I find I don’t need to apply as much pressure to remove steel as I had previously. Still, this is no routine sharpening stone – it’s too aggressive for that. This is for taking a tool that needs a bit of metal removing before routine sharpening.

None of my tools would need this level of aggressiveness again after being set-up and sharpened initially. Once this stone is worn in a little, I can then take a blade to my 250, 600 and 1200 grit diamond stones and strop to a mirror finish in a few minutes.

I don’t have to spend long on any of my routine sharpening stones. This stone is much more effective than large grit (80 say) sandpapers and a job that would have taken me an hour or more previously now takes about 5 to 10 minutes.

It may be due to the sparse layout of the diamonds. The nickel plating seems robust so being able to blast this under a tap and dust off with a brush when dry is also a nice feature. Yes it’s a bit expensive but it has truly transformed my initial blade preparation from a real chore into something quick that doesn’t worry me.

It is so good to have the reliability and performance of a regular ATC in a version that perfectly works for alpine climbing/mountaineering. This has given me great confidence working thin half and twin ropes.

Plus I really like the color. Something to notice though, it is designed for thin rops. Most of the people complaining about it are because they got it without knowing their specification. Knowing the specifications and limits of one’s gear is imperative.

Always make sure your belay device matches your rope diameter. In addition, I don’t think ATCs are entry level devices. The reasonable price may suggest other ways. But it is not. See, it does not brake assist.

So if the belayer accidentally lets the break side of the rope go or inappropriately hold it during a fall, it can result in a fatality.

This device allows your to belay a partner while also having the functionality of repelling from a cliff side. What a lovely device! The black Diamond ATC was my first belay device so my comparisons are not taking others into account.

All I can say is that this belay device was wonderful for a beginners. Unfortunately, I lost this ATC in the middle of a repelling expedition when I unhooked in a 10 foot body of water. Always have an extra belay device on hand.

So buy two!!.

This belay device is the gold standard for multipitch climbing. The ergonomics of lead belaying are great, but this device really shines when belaying the follower. The vertical orientation of the “guide mode” hole allows for cleanly stacking the belay line as you pull the slack through the device, as you’ll have the choice to orient the device to the left or to the right.

This enables the belayer to easily manage either one or two ropes, stacking in a pile or over the lap. Those climbing and guiding multipitch routes day-in and day-out may wish to consider the Kong Gigi or the Camp Ovo instead of the Black Diamond ATC Guide.

These devices create less friction when taking in slack, meaning less shoulder fatigue (and ultimately tendonitis) when belaying followers pitch after pitch, day after day. This is only a big deal for a small percentage of climbers.

And, if rappelling is involved, you might find yourself bringing an ATC along anyways for the ease of rappelling with this device compared to the Gigi or Ovo. Black Diamond claims to have reduced the friction of pulling in slack while in “guide mode” for the newest redesign of the ATC Guide, and if that is the case, this device would be the true king of multipitch belaying and rappelling.

I purchased these fresh “J’s” 4 my wife. Her work is very demanding on her whole body but especially her feet. We’ve tried multiple makes n models. From Nike Air Max 2 good old classic Rebok Classics.

The quality of the mounting for the diamonds leaves much to be desired. Several of the diamond chips are set at an angle and gives the a dull appearance as if they are missing. It is very noticeable.

I am a huge fan of these golf shoes – they are very comfortable – the fit is comparable to other Nike sneakers I own (I size up 1) – I love the look/style. Perhaps this soft spike sole is not aggressive enough for some people, but it’s perfect for me.

My fiance got this ring for our engagement and I loved it! The clarity of the diamonds are wonderful; they’re so sparkly and pretty! The only problem was it was the wrong size; it was a size 7 and I sized it down to a size 6.

I had it for about a week before I got it resized, it took a week to resize it, and two days later, the center stone broke off, prongs and all! I was devastated and my fiance was MAD. Zales did replace the center diamond with a comparable stone, thicker prongs and a more durable setting.

However, it took about a month, so for the six weeks after my engagement, I only had the ring for nine days. I love my new ring, but part of me is afraid it will break again. Not something you want to worry about when planning your wedding! It’s a beautiful ring, but make sure you get it certified and sized right the first time!.

I had such high hopes for this ring and JA. I was very disappointed. I gave explicit instructions on how I wanted this ring made and I was very clear I wanted a square shape with mitered corners. I also said I did not want it rounded.

Well they made it rounded! I had made plans to propose and needless to say I had to cancel. When I contacted them they not only didn’t make any attempt to make up for the fact that they messed up my ring and caused me to have to cancel all of my plans but they didn’t even say sorry! To top all that off the stone was off center.

There was a mm gap on two sides and half that on the other two. That may not sound like a lot but it looked awful and for thousands of dollars it should be perfect. Hopefully they will remake it correctly this time.

James Allen, what great service! My ring is absolutely beautiful! My husband gave me the option of creating my own ring because he knew I had more knowledge when it came to diamonds or ring setting. Don’t get me wrong, James Allen was always there 24/7 for the questions I had! Nonetheless, my ring is everything I wanted and more.

I went with a. 62 ct E VVS2 oval diamond with a 1. 49 ratio for a more elongated look. The double halo makes the ring look huge! And for a much better price than other local jewelers. Thank you, James Allen!.

First the good news: this necklace is delicate and beautiful, and it allows 3 options for different lengths. It is great alone or layered, and can be worn casually or dressy. Now, the not so good news.

I had 4 issues with this necklace. First, the disk is very, very thin and feels insubstantial. Second, when worn on the shortest length option, the “extra” chain constantly works its way to the disc of pave’s.

Annoying! Third, the necklace constantly shifts position and does not stay put in the middle of the neck/décolletage; probably because the disc is so thin so there’s nothing to weigh it down. Last, the necklace came unclasped on three different occasions.

Fortunately, I had made a “front tuck” into my jeans so when the pave disc fell off the chain, it was captured inside my shirt. I don’t always wear my shirts this way and considered myself very lucky.

Sadly, I returned the necklace, and Nordies being wonderful Nordies, was understanding. The salesperson recommended the Lana Malibu and it’s perfect! Bonus: The Lana Malibu has a small gold bar at the end of the clasp to help keep the extra chain from moving around front to the pave disc by adding a little more weight).

The diamond pave disc is only very slightly smaller than the Yurman and stays put in the center – no shifting. Plus, the Lana chain has a beautiful sparkle to it. I’m happy!.

I bought this and really like it. It is small but I like it that way. I’ve used it as a layering piece with some other gold pendants and chains. It looks great like that to me. And of course you can wear it alone, but again, it is small, like the size of a dime maybe.

I Ordered the initial diamond pendant and it was nothing like what is pictured. The pendant that is shown int he picture looks raised and has dimension and the diamond looks like it is set in prongs.

Necklace is very nice but the packaging was extremely disappointing. It was packaged in a flimsy cardboard box with no R. Coin name or branding. I’m taking a star off because my necklace came tangled. It’s also very small and delicate. While I like delicate pieces, I was expecting something a bit thicker. The charm was fine but the chain could have been a little thicker.

I have been debating between this piece and the Tiffany initial necklace. I decided on the Roberto Coin because it came in yellow gold unlike the Tiffany piece that only comes in rose gold. The gold looked very yellow on first sight, as if it were gold plated.

Especially the chain. I also don’t like that the “letter” charm falls off the chain. Trying to untangle the chain the “letter” charm ended up falling off. I initially thought the charm was attached to the chain, from the pictures online.

I purchased the letter E and it’s stunning for a little piece; The diamonds do shine bright like a diamond, however I am not happy with the deep scratches on the gold hardware. This is the third Roberto Coin necklace I’ve purchased and the other two look pristine.

I think it’s okay to be picky especially if I am spending money on it. I haven’t removed the tag yet since I am still thinking about it. The other two I wore immediately. I noticed the chain on this necklace doesn’t tangle as much as the first two; Did they change up on the chain perhaps? The wedding band is perfect, I had to send my engagement ring in for the customization of my wedding band. When they got finished they returned my engagement ring and wedding band back in a beautiful box.

Let me just say with the two together it’s an amazing sight. They are beautiful, I receive complements all the time. I also want to mention that we get married May 25th 2016, on May 1st 2016 I noticed that my engagement ring had a loose stone( I am very active and never take my ring off).

I contacted Diamond Nexus and they assured me that they could get my ring back to me before we left out of the country for our wedding. I was nervous, but I sent my ring in anyway. The warranty department did an amazing job, not only did they fix the stone and tighten them all, they also cleaned/polished my ring for me and got it back to me very quickly at no charge.

I even have a week to spare before we leave. I am very pleased with the merchandise and service I have received from Diamond Nexus. I would recommend them to anyone and I look forward to doing all my jewelry shopping with them in the future.

I getting ready to return. Very disappointed in size, quality, and presentation. I have several Roberto Coin’s necklaces and this one to the naked eye has no identification it is genuine. It came in a Bloomingdale’s box, no reference to Roberto Coin, and it does not have the Ruby on the underside that is the typical signature of the designer.

The size of the letter is so small, the J looks out of proportion and there is little evidence of any life to the diamonds. The chain has 2 choices for length, unless you wear on on the longest length, the extra chain is a pain, the clasp constantly rotates from the back of my neck to the front and looks cheap.

I am constantly checking my neck to rotate the clasp to the back out of site.

Gorgeous Necklace. Bought it for my granddaughter for a special day. It is a perfect size. Diamonds sparkle. The necklace will become her statement piece for many years. It is something she will cherish from her grandparents.

Beyond happy I spotted it. Plus its a Roberto Coin. How great is that. There are many initial necklaces out there but none are as beautiful as this one.

The short story. A long distance relationship, over 4 years and 1,800 miles. When we were finally able to close time and distance the ring simply had to be stunning. I worked with Brittany (Whiteflash) in earnest over a period of 3 months and she patiently answered all my questions (there were many), politely shared her knowledge (regarding the selected setting and center stone) and always maintained the highest level of professionalism.
