20 Best Yellow Golf Balls (2022 Updated)

I play about 3 times a week; usually. Give or take, my handicap is about an 8. That being said, I would use Nitros when I was just trying to improve my shots on certain holes at certain courses (usually in Arizona ).

I used a nitro when I knew it was a real chance I would never see this ball again. Why waste a pro v anything when you can dispose of a Nitro. I bought a box of these Pulsars just to ‘see’. I couldn’t believe how well this ball performs ( for a cheap Nitro ).

It comes off the driver and the wedge very nicely. It grabs the green; it doesn’t stop on a dime-but it stops. When you go to putt, you’re thinking “Nitro”. The ball putts “good”. Not Oh My God!- but, good.

Buy a box. It’s worth it.

I’m elderly (69) but still strong. Crummy swing but solid, direct contact (if anything, a draw). A good drive is in the 225 range, anymore. Found an orange Pulsar. threw it in bag. (hate orange) Trying to work something out (gave up on T-M Tours.

back to fave Tourneys) hit a few extra balls on one hole. Hit the Pulsar. WHOA! Tremendous soft feel. Longer and higher. stopped right now. Fluke!?!?! (I do hit flukes) Played a few holes with it. it and some other ball.

It always outperformed the other. (Titleist Pro-V, SoLo and a Topflite Soft) Even felt great off my putter (still evades the hole like all the other ones). I will be buying a dozen Pulsars wiki-wiki.

and hope the yellow polymer is identical to the orange. Life is good.

First time playing with a “soft” ball. Easy to hit, play. Easy to see & spot, even in the rough. Clear coating does start to peal if same ball is played multiple rounds in a row & washed often. This started to happen due to our courses being so muddy to a very wet spring.

Things are drying up now, so not having to wash the balls as much & not noticing the peeling. Overall, really like the results of this ball, if the golfer could just match the play-ability of the ball.

I have always used a soft feel golf ball. My husband used the Titleist True Feel for many years. He had a hard time finding them in stock so I purchased three dozen for him at the PGA Tour Superstore on line.

In the mean time, he found another Titleist ball that he liked. He did not want to go back to the True Feel. So I decided to use them. I am very impressed on the feel of these balls and have continued to purchase them.

I always thought they were too expensive but my scoring has dropped significantly since I started using these and will continue.

A good product. The price is fair. High handicap golfers like myself get zero advantage from high priced golf balls of any brand. ALL golf balls have gone through extensive testing by the golf associations (USGA, PGA) and show equal length regardless of price.

The expensive balls have better spin control which is no advantage to high handicappers. For us this price range is perfect no matter the brand.

I used to use the Soft Feel ball as it felt great around the greens. I did sacrifice a little distance with those but 100 yards and in is where golf really counts. I saw the new technology implemented into the new qstar and decided to try, as I’m an avid srixon ball player.

My distance increased off the tee with these, not outrageously but just enough to make up those noticeable ones I lost from the soft feels. Where I really found where this ball performs best was around the green.

I saw more visual check up with the new qstar than I’ve ever seen, in my own game not the pros, compared to the pro-v balls. The feel is great, my distances are right where I would like to see them, and my precision around the green is much better than it used to be.

This is now my favorite ball moving forward.

The feel off the driver is good with this ball and the suggested lower spin rate certainly helps keep the ball flight straighter for us mid-high handicappers. For those whos short game isn’t about generating spin and stop but more a bump and run or simply get it on the dancefloor, this is great.

And rather than running for miles like some old rock-flight ball, it gives the average player more of a nice, controlled release after it lands – in other words, the (many) hots that might come up short with a high-spin ball, will actually end up on the green with this ball.

It also feels true coming off the putter. As a mid-priced ball, this is definitely worth looking at.

Great ball for distance and control. Easy to spin around the greens and long of the reel. I gained 10 yards with my irons. This is due to the feel, which increased my confidence and trust when hitting my irons.

I’m pretty brand agnostic when it comes to golf. My driver is Taylormade, 3W is Callaway, irons are PXG, wedges are Vokey, putter is Scotty. The same goes for ball. I’ve tried the Pro V1, Pro V1x, -Pro V1x, AVX, TP5 / TP5x, etc.

The Pro V1 is great for the cooler months, where you want a slightly softer feel and more spin around the greens (compared to a TP5x or (-)Pro V1x). The Titleist line is also quite a bit more durable than some of the other balls I’ve played – particularly the TP5.

Great ball. There’s a reason it’s been so popular for so many years.

I was very excited to buy and try the yellow 2021 Titleist ProV1. I have been trying out a wide variety of balls as of late to really have a short list of balls I will buy and play. My first impression with the packaging was WOW these are premium balls.

The actual balls themselves looked nice, however they felt harder then I expected given I have played older versions in the white color and they felt softer then these new 2021 yellow ones. I have played two rounds of golf with them and I have to say they are disappointing.

I can honestly say they seemed shorter in distance with the driver then any other balls I have played as of late. The spin on the irons and wedges didn’t impress me either. I sent Titleist a message asking if the yellow balls had a different cover, or hardness compared to the yellow and they said they are all the same, white or yellow.

I will stick with Z-stars, TP5, and Top Flite Gammers.

When I ordered personalized Pro V1s TGW website stated it takes 10 days before they would ship. After almost 3 weeks still no updates so I emailed customer service and they said the manufacturer is running behind and is now 15 days.

I requested they update their website, which it kind of is. It now states 15 days, but it is really 15 business days at best. So plan on almost a month out for personalized Pro V1s. Product is great after all they are Pro V1s.

For my swing speed (92 mph) I find this ball to be approximately 5 yards longer than all premium balls I have tried. This 77 compression ball seems to be perfect for my particular swing speed. It is a low spin ball so it is also pretty straight throughout the bag.

However, I am still able to work the ball right or left only less than premium balls. The main detraction of this very affordable ball is the poor spin rate for short game control. Very difficult to get one hop.

Recently, purchased these golf balls with the intention that they would feel and work just like TP5/X with obvious drawbacks since they are cheaper and made differently. However, they are just not as forgiving as the 5 layer cores that the TP5/X give you and do not give you the same feel, distance, spin, or forgiveness.

You need to be completely dialed in with your swing to use these otherwise, you’re hitting push fades and pulled draw shots. Might come back to these when I’m consistently in the low 80’s. Stock ball markings were great.

Traditionally I’m a Callaway golf ball man. After a few rounds, very impressed with this ball. Either I’m getting stronger or these balls are a club longer than my Callaways. They bite well on the green also.

Slightly more clicky off the putter face for maybe not as good of a touch. Warning, they, like most balls, will find the 10% wood if you try to fly one through a tree. Enjoy.

I am now [Male] 79 and been playing since age 11. In my prime, I was an 8 playing 2-3xs a week, 9-18 holes. B/C I have had some health issues, the past 3 years, my handicap is 18 with a swing speed of 71-73mph.

The past 3 years, I have used the SF lady playing winter league indoor golf, here is WI. I also have stage 2 COPD. What can I say about the SF Lady? I like the feel off the club, stays straight with my swing, and my launch great.

With this lower compression ball, I am getting 5-10 yds more in distance. Yes, I have tried other low compression balls, but the SF Lady is where it is at, for overall performance.

I bought these specifically for backyard practice wedge practice. Their extremely bright orange is incredibly easy to find when plugged into deep grass or if they carry into wooded areas, exactly why I purchased these.

They do seem to really fly off the club face and seem very durable after using almost daily for a couple weeks. I did try some putting with these, and I don’t like the feel. I use Bridgestone’s Tour B XS as my course ball, and they don’t even compare when it comes to putting feel.

Obviously, they won’t compare in this area to a premium ball, but I will say they do putt better than other lower price balls I’ve tried. They have a very solid feel, which beats out a lot of cheaper balls that have that super bouncy feel off the putter.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend these for the price range.

This ball is consistent, durable, and gives me the distance I need as a slower swing player. Yup, you read that right, my driver swing speed is about 88-89 mph which a lot of folks would categorize in the “slow swing speed”.

There’s a lot of misinformation that slow swing speeds can’t play a higher compression tour ball, let alone an “X” ball. Not true. This is not 2002 when ball cores were liquid. All balls have a rubber core and anyone swinging over 80mph can compress these firmer models.

In fact, several sites like Today’s Golfer and MGS have done tests that show slow swing speed players benefit from balls like the TP5x. And no, not all balls are made the same. Take this ball and a softer ball like the Distance+ and chip some wedge shots into the green.

You’ll see that the TP5x is a step above and in a world where all of us amateurs need help when we can get it, why not invest in a good ball instead of just new equipment. I should also mention the pix design is so useful to see your spin on layups and the roll of your putts.

Teaches you a lot about your game.

I Iike the TP5 ball, I really like having pix impressions on the ball, BUT, I really love the USA pix! Do they preform any better than the standard TP5 ball, probably the not. But for me, psychologically, they sure do! I can smack that bad boy farther than the others and when I talk to it in the air.

it listens. When I lose one, I almost start crying, spending way too much time looking on the off-chase it will miraculously rise from the dead. Thus said, I hoard new USA pix in the bag like Ebenezer Scrooge, begrudgingly putting a new one in play, only when I know it is safe to do so.

Is it all in my head? Absolutely! But maybe, just maybe that little symbol of patriotism fires off some extra synapsis in my head and as we all know, your best golf is always played in the 6″ between your ears.

I will gladly take ANY edge I can get!.

I’ve used the Wilson 500 for years, always a good feel off my clubs. I can tell when I make solid impact and have control over the ball. The vis yellow is nice on longer rough areas. love the quality and the price.

I am 54 years old and a high handicap, weekend golfer. My coworker golf partners make fun of my “cheap golf balls, but you know what, last week I had the best score of our foursome! And I usually out drive them.

And, when I hit out of bounds, I don’t hold up play searching for my expensive ball. You’ll hear comments how these balls don’t have the ” feel” around the green. But I see other guys “skulling, and making poor chip shots with their premium balls.

So, unless you are a low handicap golfer, that can truly take advantage of specialized premium golf balls, I highly recommend these.

I have been playing ERC soft for 2 years now. both models (1st and second generation). The ball is great for mid to low swing speeds. Mine is around 85mph. It goes high and straight if u hit it good.

I have a power fade shot that is pretty consistent with this ball. Approach shots 7 iron down can actually hold the green if u can get the ball in the air which is no problem for me. If u hit low shots it’s gonna run out on you.

not the balls’ fault!!! It has decent spin around the greens but NOT great!! U have to play the roll out and/or control it with trajectory. U must learn this or it will roll out on u big time. This is the only reason I’m not giving it a five star.

But if u can and love hitting greens’ without paying $50 a box for the extra spin. this could be your ball. The putting lines r a plus too if the lines don’t distract u on approach shots. I’m 50 yrs young and a 9 handicap.

Coming off a wrist injury and game pretty down, I thought good time to try out the Callaway MAX ball. Couldn’t hurt. Mid handicap struggling to break 85 at a fairly easy course. First round, played okay, liked the feel of the ball and seemed to track very straight.

Second round final hole, positioned for a possible par, at worst a boggie to break 80 for first time ever (several 80s but never got it done). Pressure got to me and I choked, but great round. Third round front nine, 15ft putt for eagle on 575y Par 5.

Bad stroke never gave it chance but tap in bird. Back 9 same hole, 12ft put for eagle and drained it!! Possible 2 two eagles in one round. I’ve only had about 5 eagles ever. Could be a coincidence, could be the ball.

All I know is I’m sold. How can I use anything else have this.

Bought a dozen of the new TaylorMade Tour Response Striped golf balls just to give them a try on the course. I bought the golf balls for the alignment feature and wasn’t expecting any real improvement in my game.

I went to my usual golf course in Sun City Summerlin Las Vegas “Palm Valley”, a course I know very well. I teed up on the first hole which is a par five 512-yard hole. WOW WEE – On my very first drive I hit the golf ball an extra 60 yards straight down the fairway.

My next hit with my 5 wood and I was just 40 yards from the green. I chipped onto the green and rolled within 8 feet of the hole for my birdy putt. I picked up my new TaylorMade Tour Response Striped golf ball, cleaned the ball and set my putting alignment with the alignment feature of this new ball.

A perfect hit, a perfect roll and my first birdy for my round today. OK – just beginners’ luck – Right? WRONG! I continued to hit this ball farther than any golf ball I have ever used for the next 17 holes! I came home that day and ordered 4 more dozen TaylorMade Tour Response golf balls.

Mixed it up this time with the striped, yellow and white balls. Since then and a dozen games of golf later these new TaylorMade Tour Response golf balls have changed my game! They are now the only ball that I care in my bag! I am over 70 years old, and I do not have the swing speed I did form years past so having this new technology in my golf game makes me feel 20 years younger! Makes me think seriously about trying out some of the new TaylorMade clubs and see just how much better I can get with the technologies that are now available to all of us!.

The short answer is this is a very good ball, and I am impressed. I was drawn to this ball because I have lost a bit of swing speed at 65 with a 5 HCP from 6000 yards and am searching for a new ball.

Just cannot compress the ProV anymore. I am trying out all the balls on the market in the 70 to 75 compression range with a three layer construction. Right now, this Tour Response is in a head to head competition with one other ball, having eliminated 4 other balls.

I go out on the course alone and hit several balls in a variety of conditions. Tee, 150, 125, pin side wedge and of course fairway clubs. It is easy to see the difference quickly. When 3 balls of brand X are six yards short of brand Y you can eliminate fast.

Then once I get two brands, I like I play at least two rounds with them. Sometimes I play 9 holes with one and 9 holes with a second ball. There are a bunch of new balls in my shag bag, but not these Tour Response.

I find these to be about 2 – 3 yards farther than the ball they are competing with mostly because the competition ball is stopping instantly on the greens and these seem to release with a bit more forward motion.

And of course, there are pros and cons to that situation based on the greens being firm or soft, wet or dry and so on. Softness off the club face is very good. Trajectory for me is high and I am a lower ball striker so that is a plus.

Right now, I am undecided and going to keep playing these for a few more rounds. If showed up on the first tee with only a few of these in hand I would not be disappointed and be pleased to play them.

They are better than nine other balls in this compression range. Well done Taylor Made.

The only ball I’ve played the last six years has been the Nike RZN Tour Black and it’s still a great ball. I’ve been wanting to find a similar ball that feels a bit softer with an increase in spin. At my age of 66, I just don’t have the speed/compression that is suited for the RZN Tour Black at this point in time.

I’ve only played 18 holes with the TaylorMade Tour Response and my search for a new ball is done! The ball does feel softer off the club face (driver, irons, wedges, and putter) and provides more of a muted sound as well.

I believe the spin is up some (no launch monitor numbers to confirm) as the ball seems to stay in the air longer and based the distance of some of my drives the day I played it, the Tour Response seems longer than the RZN Black.

With the Tour Response I’ve not lost any ball control as I can still flight the ball up/down or move it R to L and L to R when needed Spin around the green is very acceptable as well. Finally, I generally will not play a ball more that 18 holes but the Tour Response cover/finish looked very good at the end of the round; I could easily play another 9 holes with it.

With just one round, I have confidence in the Tour Response knowing that I have a ball that will enhance my golf game moving forward.

Being 6’7” with long arms I generate a lot of spin even with a smooth tempo. I’m a 9 handicap and my ego said to try a tour value ball (Q-Star tour) in efforts to try to pick up more ball speed with a 90-93 mph swing.

It lasted 4 holes before I knew Duo Soft + is the best ball for my game. The feel and precision gives me more confidence then using any other ball, and I’ve tested them all. I’m a medium length hitter, so I see no distance gains using a firmer compression ball so the feel is most important to my game.

Also got my first ace with it. We are now bound by blood.

My go to ball is Srixon XV. I tried this ball one day when going to a new course that was sure to be extra wet and narrow. The ball did fly quite far off the tee for me and was easy to track with the Optix Orange color.

If you are looking for a soft ball, this will most likely fit your needs. My preference is for a more firm feel. On shots to the green this ball would roll out much more than my regular ball. I’m sure I could adapt if I played it more.

The Wilson is soft, flies well and is easy to see. Just not for me. Two balls were plugged and not found. I gave the remaining 10 to someone in the parking lot at the course.

I am 63 with a 15 handicap and slower swing speed. If the wear pattern on your irons and wedges is a perfect golf ball sized circle in the middle of the club face, as my regular 3 handicap partner’s is, this isn’t the ball for you.

For the rest of us, it’ll be hard to find anything better. Side spin is never my friend, and backspin hurts me as often as it helps, so the ridiculously priced premium balls are a waste of money for me.

The Duo sounds great off the driver, penetrates well off my fairway metals, and has consistent distance off my irons with off center strikes, which happens as often as not. They do wear faster than other lower priced balls, but I rarely finish a round with the same ball I started with and, anyway, at this price who cares? Maybe if I can ever stop messing around fixing broken dogs and cats long enough to get my handicap below 10, I’ll switch balls, but, for now, the Duo Soft is just about perfect.

I’ve tried several brands of Super Soft golf balls. Initially I settled on the Callaway Brand. However I found the Volvik brand was a few bucks cheaper. So I tried them and found they were just as good if not better and 3 to 4 dollars less expensive.

I’ll buy more, great performance, great value and amazing soft feel both around the green and off tee box. What’s not to like! Just saying. Best regards,.

This ball is the most forgiving vs performance ball I have played in the years I have been playing. The short game is very good and the speed in the putting is pretty good as well. I notice is not as long as some other balls I played, but my priority is to stay inbound specially when the mishits happens.

Tried these on the course today, tried the red, yellow and orsnge. Had trouble tracking the red against the dark overcast skies, yellow was easier, and orange I was able to track the best. Thought that the red would stand out the best in the rough, however it was the worse of the three, the yellow and orange easy to pick out and find.

Ball just a tad firmer then the Srixon soft, and I was managing straight shots with very little movement and gaining 20 – 30 additional yards off the tee, and averaging an iron or two longer, had to play an iron or two less to keep from overstepping green or layup.

I have been using Bridgestone golf balls exclusively for years, pretty much always hitting the Tour B RX, or comparable model that was best suited to my lower swing speed. Back in early August, my local pro shop ran out of the RX’s so I grabbed a box of the e6’s to tide me over until restocking.

I had totally forgotten I was even hitting the “discount” balls and shot my best round of the year! Then the following weekend on our annual boys golf excursion, I jarred a 135 yard par 3 tee shot using the e6 golf ball! I have used the e6’s for the rest of this years golf season, and I have never played better.

Plus its a lot less painful ($$$) to see an e6 hit the drink, compared to a $5 RX golf ball. LOL. Don’t fix what ain’t broken!.

Exactly what I was expecting. Balls arc gracefully towards nearest water hazard, bunker or out of bounds area. Low buoyancy ensures retrieval prospects from aquatic resting places are minimalised. Smooth roll allows full run out of putts to maximise distance of return effort.

Excellent feel on connection with blade edge. Piercing trajectory of said shot elicits comical emotional response. Very happy with purchase 10/10.

I am a high handicapper that has been playing Noodles and other bargain golf balls. I have been playing better lately so I thought I’d try these to see if I could notice a difference in distance and consistency.

I didn’t think I would be consistent enough to notice a difference. I did. I normally average 170-180 on a drive. My first drive came in at 205. My next drive was 193. My 3 wood is usually 160-170. I used it twice in the round.

First shot went 180 and second shot went 193 (uphill). They feel great, maybe the softest ball I’ve tried. I honestly loved the performance first time out.

I have played all the top tier balls on the market and also many of the discount ones. Before switching i was using the bridgestone Tour B X When i wanted the most distance and the prov1x when i wanted more control, Also used Snell a lot as it has good distance/spin AND price.

Then i switched to the Srixon. Ill admit it was because of a joke on the course of a guy I played with would always say if its good enough for brooksie its good enough for me. Picked up a dozen and became hooked!!! This ball IS SPECIAL.

Big distance usually as much as the Bridgestone Tour B X or a pro v1 – And actually 3 of the longest drives i have ever hit on a number of holes on my course were with the Srixon Diamond. On average for me it might be a yard less then the Bridgestone.

But I don’t care because where this ball shines is the IRONS. I stop and spin irons and hold greens like no other with this ball True magic! On hard dry turf close cut greens where others are rolling off the back I’m stopping and holding.

Then you have feel, a great feel off the putter and wedge and just butter on the mid/long irons. I will never go back to any other ball for this generation of balls. Hopefully they keep up the good work on the next gen! BUY THESE YOU WILL LOVE THEM!!!.

I am a 20 hcp. I know that I am not a good golfer and I am not looking for a ball to get me to a 10. I have played the Z-Star and XV several times simply because it feels good when i hit the ball, but even better when I putt.

I carry about 220-230 off the tee with some usual draw and generally hit pretty high, in the 75-80 ft apex range. Swing speed is ~94. 7-iron is about 150-160. Gap wedge ~105. I did not see any distance gains on the Diamond when i played it this past weekend for the first time.

What i did see was a really good decent and hold on the green from my mid irons. I am not a very spinny wedge guy, but i did feel under control with my chips and pitches. The ball feels really good off the tee, whether with driver or irons.

But the Srixon balls seem to really feel good off the putter. I generally 2-putt or better, and getting better. The confidence that I feel with this ball is as good as I feel with any other. I would agree that this ball kind of fits between the Z-Star and the XV.

I did shoot the best score that I have shot in a while. Still in the 90’s but good for me. I only lost one ball, Due to a really, really bad swing. If you play the Z or XV, this ball is every bit on par with those.

This ball seems to be a good combination of the Z star and the Z star XV. It has a medium amount of spin off the driver and long irons, but seems to spin decently with the short irons. I have not had a chance to test it in windy conditions yet.

It feels softer than the XV, which is nice. I definitely need a few more rounds with it, before I know how much I really like it, but initial testing is very promising. It has a reasonably durable cover.

I have played this ball and the past 2 generations of this ball, and must i say it is the best ball that i have ever played with. with a close second being the TB X by Bridgestone, this ball has given me the best performance, spin, and game that i want as a player.

I love having stopping power and love seeing backspin on shots on the green, so when i play this ball i know that i can get that. with the first generation it was probably too much spin along with me being a high spin player.

But Bridgestone has really outdone itself with the past 2 generations, they have keep the ball in a good relative spin window. Except this generation excels on the driver, it has the best feel and control in combination with distance.

i have hit all of my best drives with my driver and 3 wood with this current generation ball. if you are looking for spin this is the ball for one, if you like distance and spin with a softer feel then other premium balls this one is for you.

So I bought a sleeve of three both the RXS and RX. Hit too many bad shots to with the RX to give them a fair shake (my problem, not the balls). The RXS though ended up being what I used the rest of my round.

Off the tee they felt. great, but the distance I am not sure was quite there. However I dont think this was the balls fault as every shot was in to the wind and course was wet so 0 roll out. However.

iron shots are just absolutely pure with these, and around the green. just perfection. Buttery smooth on chips and wedge shots. Plan to pick up a full box today. If these were in the 35-40 dollar range.

I would never play anything else. 50. 00 I feel is too expensive for a dozen. My usual ball are the vice pro’s For what its worth my iron swing speeds are in the mid 70’s to low 80’s. Drive upper 80’s to low 90s mph.

I’ve been playing the Titleist V1 & V1x for well over a decade and Im a 7 handicap. I decided to give these a go and after about 5 rounds so far, I can honestly say they’re just a bit longer off the tee & irons vs.

The v1x (my normal ball). This is the ball Freddy Couples is using. I wanted to give it an honest test now that I’m not hitting it as long as I used to when I was younger. I rarely drive one over 280 nowadays.

Did I gain a magic 20 yards vs. The v1x? No. it’s maybe just a few paces longer and I’ve had the opportunity to hit both balls on the course back to back. as well as comparing my drives to where I “normally” am in the fairway with the V1x.

It also is great around the greens with ability to stop and I must say. off the putter-face. it’s softer for sure.

Great way to sample different colors of this unique golf ball at a fair price. Pro Shops are always sold out of Chromax because they are so popular with young golfers. Excited to see Wal-Mart had the newest Chromax online.

Definitely a game changer for youth golf coaches because Chromax balls are USGA approved just like boring white golf balls. Kids and adults love playing these shiny golf balls. Hope physical stores start selling Chromax so us coaches can get them faster than online.

I have been playing golf with these golf balls for a few months now. They are quite visible, theres never a doubt whos ball they are and I find I get a more yardage with them as they weigh a little more than what I usually play with.

My first time trying Srixon golf balls, after reading several great reviews. The Z-Star has a compression of 90, which is just a bit higher than the golf balls I have been using. My swing speed can handle the Z-Star but I found the feel a bit too firm for my taste.

I am more comfortable with a softer feel golf ball, and will try the Srixon Q-Star or Q-Star Tour next, which have compression ratings of 75 and 70 respectively. Having said all that, I do recommend the Srixon Z-Star and think it will be a better fit for players with swing speeds in the upper 90s or low 100s.

I absolutely love the Z Star ball. It holds greens very well. I hit a 3 wood 215 yards to a par 3 green. The ball actually backed up a foot from the ball mark. Wedges will often back up from the pitch mark.

Yet the ball springs off the driver. I used to play nothing but Pro V1’s until I tried this ball. This ball is not much more durable than a Pro V1 but maybe a little. I only gave 3 stars because of the price.

If they were $25. 00 a dozen, I would give them 5 stars.

This is a great golf ball with the right amount of spin. I’m a higher speed (and therefore higher spin) player so my issue with many golf balls is that they spin too much when I hit full wedge shots into the green from from 85 to 125 yards.

This ball is perfect and spins just the right amount. It will land, take one hop, and sit. I love this ball and am glad I tried it. This is my new gamer ball. For reference I am a 3 handicap and swing speed is 107mph.
