20 Best Yellowbird Hot Sauce (2022 Updated)

Great flavors with minimal ingredients. The hotter sauces (habanero & ghost) are blended with the peppers lower on the ingredients list. This allows heat without being ridiculously hot so the taste can be enjoyed, savored.

The variety is excellent as I prefer the warm, sweet of the sriracha on chili dogs, jalapeno on tacos, serrano mixed with bbq on ribs, habanero cut with mangoes, pineapple, onion and cilantro makes a great salsa, ghost adds the perfect heat to dips and chili.

Switch them up and enjoy!.

These are my on everything sauces. Ham and cheese? Yellowbird sauce. Mashed potatoes? Yellowbird sauce. Pizza? Yellowbird sauce. General Tso’s chicken not spicy enough even though you ask them to make it spicy? Ghost pepper sauce will bring the heat and punch you right in the taste buds.

I am a glutton for pain so I use the ghost pepper and habanero all the time but my partner uses the jalapeno and serrano.

Yellowbird continues to slay my taste buds with their incredible sauces! I was crushing so hard on the Blue Agave Sriracha that I forgot about the Jalapeño. I just found a small bottle in my cabinets (hidden behind all the YB sauce bottles I’m hoarding so I never run out) and I’m falling in love all over again! I can’t say enough.

The best hot sauce hands down! My husband and I started our hot sauce journey because of Hot Ones. We have purchased TONS of hot sauce. Most are varying degrees of hot but lack any real flavor. This does both.

The Serrano is a crowd pleaser because it adds a kick but not unbearable, and it has a good flavor. I love that the ingredients are clean. Customer service is awesome! One arrived with the safety seal broken due to the 110 degree weather and they sent a replacement fast.

We are already 1/2 way through a bottle and it’s been a week. Y’all need this sauce in your life. Stop searching, this is it! I will say, my husband likes the habanero better because he likes it hotter but this is perfect for us to share.

I’m just going to by all three flavors because they are all delicious! Love that it’s made in Texas too!.

About a month ago I was on an online shopping spree trying to find really good hot sauces. I found this one specifically kept popping up on a bunch of “Top 10” type of lists so I wanted to try it. Sadly this wasn’t available near me (New Jersey) but I gave Yellowbird my email and used the link on their website to express interest in seeing their sauce at grocery stores near me.

Fast forward to the next day Katie Radez sent me an email saying she was sorry the sauce wasn’t near me but gave me a discount to use for the Yellowbird website which I used on a 3-pack of the Habanero sauce.

I am so glad I bought it as it’s suuuuper tasty and just the other day I found this sauce at my local Whole Foods! 1000% Recommend this sauce if you are a fan of hot sauces. It definitely has a great kick.

YELLOWBIRD’s Classic Habanero Hot Sauce is simply the best of its kind of I’ve found in years. (Thx to a tip from family in TX) It’s sweet, hot, and flavorful all at once, without any one thing being overpowering.

And while it’s spicy hot, it’s not so hot it overrides the great taste so delicately preserved in every bottle. I put it on everything. Tacos, burritos, eggs, omlettes, Chili, spaghetti, etc. Anything that needs some ‘kick’.

YELLOWBIRD’s website is stupid silly to use. Their customer service better than superb, & shipping quick as lightning. What more can a man ask?.

This hot sauce is great, because heat doesn’t overpower the flavor. The serrano pepper flavor is very good with a balanced heat. I was introduced to this sauce while vacationing in Arizona. I asked for a hot sauce by name, and the server said, “I have something much better that you have to try”.

She was right. I took a picture of the bottle and ordered some as soon as I returned home. Part of the multi-pack also became gifts for my adult sons.

Jalapeño is hands down the best hot sauce I’ve found. It has great flavor, just enough heat, and is low calorie. I combine avocado, two servings of sauce atop my protein and rice. I’d recommend ordering straight from the site.

It offers the best value and can accommodate the entire family. I’ve had their other sauces too. They pack a punch. This is best for strong flavor with mild heat.

This has quickly become one of my favorite go-to sauces. The flavor is great. I was a bit hesitant since I’m not a big coconut fan, but the flavor from the peppers and vinegar really balance it out. It has a touch of sweetness from the strawberries that rounds out everything.

The heat level is on the lower side, and it’s a great addition to soups, eggs, pizza, and many other items. The only thing I didn’t like was the bottle itself. The twist cap didn’t work well, so I have to pour it directly out of the bottle.

Other than that, this is a fantastic sauce with a nice bit of acidity to help balance out many recipes.

The sauce rocks. I ordered 4 sauces from heatonist, and this one is the one I use the most often. Perfect mild level, lots of unique flavor. Well balanced too. As for the bottle, it’s frustrating to use.

The top constantly gets blocked, becoming useless. I end up having to just take the top off to use the sauce. I’ll wash the top out with water, but that only fixes the issue for a very short amount of time.

If Yellowbird solves this dispensing issue, 5 stars all day. Please make the top consistently work!.

Typically, the challenge I find with most hot sauces is finding something that combines good heat and flavor, without overextending on either. Yellowbird has a variety of flavors and heat levels, which is wonderful for finding something that will pair with your cuisine.

The Organic Sriracha is no exception, combining a fantastic flavor profile with just the right amount of heat, added excitement and zest without killing your tastebuds. I’ve used it on omelettes, potatoes, Phō, and even to spruce up condiments, like ketchup and salsa.

I highly recommend this sriracha, and any of the other Yellowbird sauces.

Love it so much. I just finished my second round of whole30 and this is one of the only complaint sriracha (no sugar added) I could find. And it’s amazing to boot! This will be the only sriracha I will continue to buy even off round.

I use it on almost everything. A lot better tasting than the popular brand sriracha and lovely ingredients!.

We keep back-ups of this in the house at all times. Our whole family loves it and we are so happy to find a sriracha that tastes good, isn’t full of gross ingredients, and it organic. My husband tells everyone about it and gives bottles out to friends to try.

We love all the sauces, with extra love for the Serrano and Habanero ones. However the small bottles nozzles clog up (particularly the Serrano one) so that we end up having to just uncap it and tap out the sauce with sometimes too much coming out and then some whining happening from some of the more tender-mouthed among us.

Hence I took off a star.

I love the size, the taste and healthy ingredients in these. I am diabetic, so I like the date sweetening verses sugar. The Habanero is borderline too hot for me, but all the others perfect! I keep one in my car and in my lunchbox, as you never know when you will need a bit of spice.

Especially during these Covid times where hot sauce is not a readily available condiment when picking up a burrito.

I bought this so I could try a new hot sauce and it’s alright. Nothing special. It’s a convenient size to take camping but the taste is nothing to write home about. I will finish this hot sauce but I don’t think I’ll buy the jalapeño flavor again.

I’m going to try the habanero flavor next and see if it’s any better.

When tasting each variety by itself I could only detect subtle differences. When I sampled each of the four flavors on the same food item with a break in between tasting I was very pleased that the individual flavors really came out and I like them all.

The habanero, ghost, and serrano being my favorites. The sriracha is good but, in my case I could take it or leave it.

I have only tried the Ghost Pepper sauce. Good flavor and not to hot. I have a hot taste buds and probably another person would rate it excellent. I have an addiction to Dave’s Insanity Special Reserve so that’s where my heat range and flavor hangs out.

I am looking for to trying the others in the package By the way I love the YouTube ad you have.

I don’t know what these guys are doing but there’s some voodoo going on. The heat is perfect, the flavor is perfect, the amount of garlic is perfect, it’s good for anything longing for hot sauce. And 20 oz for eight bucks is bonkers.

Please don’t change your recipe. I’d pay twice the price, easily. Very good.

I got the little 5 bottle sampler and my wife and I love it. For $20 delivered, it’s kind of a brilliant ‘hot-sauce’ solution. I’m sure I’m not the only guy with a lot of hot sauces the wife would wish I’d throw away and make some room in the fridge, well the sampler is a great way to get a few fresh sauces and let go of the old.

The Habenero is a very good quality carrot-based Habenero which I love. That one might be the best of the bunch IMO. The Ghost Pepper sauce is actually edible which is nice, it doesn’t punish you for wanting to eat it haha.

The Sriracha is nice, Serrano is bright and zappy like it should be, and the red Jalepeno sauce is also a well made sauce. These sauces aren’t “spiced up” with extra cumin or chili powder that take them into the realm of being a more Mexican type hot-sauce, which there’s nothing at all wrong with those, but it’s a hallmark of these spices which is a welcome thing.

I’ve got other hot-sauces for other things. (Also, sometimes those extra spices can really agitate your stomach. I don’t get the same effect with Yellowbird) Yellowbird hot-sauces are absolutely wonderful and a high grade product I’d recommend to anyone 🙂 – Thanks, Yellowbird.

These are awesome, I found the blue agave sriracha at a store and took it to work; people liked it so much that we looked up the Yellowbird brand. And once we discovered the variety pack we knew we had to get it.

I got it like 3 days after I ordered which was super quick — I took it in to the office with some tortilla chips and we had a taste testing adventure to see who could handle the hottest sauce. The top two office favorites are jalapeño and ghost pepper, but they all are really good and I highly recommend the variety box if you want to try all the flavors in smaller quantities.

All 5 of these hot sauces taste fantastic!! I wasn’t expecting that. I tasted the habanero flavor at Flower Child and was really blown away by the flavor that goes along with the heat and wanted to try all 5.

They all go great with a variety of dishes, and I’ve used all of them for different meals and tastes…both as condiments and in cooking. I’m impressed with the ingredients they use and love that they are local.

This box set is great as a gift and sampler. Highly recommend!.

This sauce is just better than anything else in their line up (I got the classic hot sauce variety pack to compare). It’s a shame that it’s only being offered as a limited edition in a 6 oz bottle. The classic habanero is a cheaper substitute but is not quite as good.

I think this sauce is a new favorite of mine. Unfortunately it’s pretty hard to come by and is expensive relative to the rest of their lineup. I hope they continue making it but make it more available and less expensive.

I don’t really care about the ingredients being organic or not here (but they mostly are).

This sauce is absolutely delicious! The flavors of the savory garlic and the sweet heat of the habanero work well together. But, the added umami flavor of the shiitake mushroom makes this sauce an absolute flavor bomb! Wonderful balance! The texture is thick enough to make this a stand alone sauce for a sandwich or burrito, but honestly I put this on everything!.

I love YB products! The habanero sauce is my favorite but I love them all. If I had one complaint it would be that they don’t make one that is spicy enough (the ghost ought to be it. I think). I was hoping that this sauce would be the one that would be my new favorite.

Spicier than the others. I can’t say so unfortunately. It’s a good sauce but it’s sweeter than the original habanero, and a little bit mustardy (or something like that) which I’m not crazy about. Another reason I love YB so much is their reasonable prices.

but $20 for 6oz? Even if it was my new favorite I couldn’t afford much of it at that rate. I really wanted to love it! I’ll stick with the original habanero.
